I had a two event 40th birthday party celebration just before the lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the fact that I was going to be having two events on the same day. I needed someone who could help to bring my ideas to reality and stay organized for the entire day. At the morning gospel brunch celebration, here staff was there to help with the precautionary measures we put in place for hand sanitizing, handkerchief placement and handwashing prior to the meal. It was a seamless process. The evening event was a 90 s theme dance party and the entire vibe was different, however Millie still ensured that the precautionary measures were in place. Millie did not disappoint, she communicated with all the vendors and made sure that they did what they had promised to do. She was available and always had great ideas as well. I have worked with other day of coordinators/event planners in the past and I have not worked with anyone as personable or as polite as Millie is. She absolutely wants to ensure that you enjoy your celebration. I recommend Millie and her team and would certainly use them again. -

Millicent of Ruah'Dior Events was awesome, fantastic, superb to say the least. The decorations were straight out of this world. The staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. Their quality of service was also exceptional. Honestly, I wish I could do my wedding all over again because they made my day such a beautiful and memorable occasion. -

Ruah’Dior Events
This was the best day of our lives! Our actual wedding day and the months that led up to it felt smooth and flawless because of the professional guidance and quality care we received from Millie Arthur and her team. I didn’t feel like I had to worry about a thing when the day arrived! The day itself also felt very flexible, which put us at ease, and Millie and her team did an outstanding job handling any changes that came up. She kept me in the loop (which I loved) without overwhelming me on our special day. Wouldn’t have changed a thing! -

I was concerned at first that I wouldn’t be able to find the perfect wedding planner that was flexible, organized, and communicative. But while searching I ran into Ms. Millie and saw all the beautiful work she had previously done , I knew she was up for the task. Our first interaction, set us off to good track she understood my ideas and goals. While working with her the ideas I brought to the table she made come to life. She not only executed my interior decor perfectly. Ms. Millie went above and beyond by being resourceful and finding excellent vendors. When the big day had arrived she stayed by my side and walked everyone calmly through the process , from hotel, to venues. Kept to the schedule and helped the bridal party throughout. Ms. Millie helped cue the bridal party throughout the church ceremony and the arrival at the venue. It was the little things she did that really impressed everyone and how much she cared to make the moment special for my family and I. I would recommend Ms. Millie to anyone who wants to have their dream come to life. She’s very professional, hard working, and someone you can count on. -

Great experience
Millie was always very friendly, professional, and prompt. She made planning our wedding seem so simple! We never had to worry about anything, she insured we remained stress free. My Husband and I are so grateful we invested in Millie and her team! -

She is amazing
Milli helped me plan and execute my baby shower. Immediately I sent her my ideas, she knew what I was going for.... She helped me designed the e-invite as well. I sent her all my vendor contacts and she took care of it all with scheduling all the arrangements, drop off and pick up times convenient for me and negotiating the cost. She was mindful budget and provided cost effective and custom alternatives. She is AMAZING!! She is truly passionate in serving her clients in all budget ranges presented to her. On the day of my baby shower, she attended to all our guests and made sure everyone was involved, engaged and having FUN!! And to add, she did this all by herself, without her team... Thank you Milli!! You made our baby shower so special for my family and I 😘😘😘

Millie decorated my law school graduation party, and it turned out very, very wonderful!! It was everything I ever imagined and fit my personality perfectly!! We employed Ruah'Dior's services to decorate my party. Before the party, Millie was responsive. She coordinated with my mom (who was helping plan the party) about the expenses often and worked within our budget (for the most part). She made a trip to visit the venue beforehand to get a general layout of the venue. The end result was beautiful!!
We gave her a lot of creative freedom, and she did not disappoint. During the party, she was very attentive and dedicated to making sure that we were happy. She also remained on site to make sure that things went smoothly. Her dedication and the quality of work she puts out are unmatched. If you have a vision, she will do what she can to execute your vision. I would definitely use her again or recommend her services!!! -
