We absolutely loved the Royal Fox! The venue is lovely - not your typical cookie-cutter country club. The style of the space is historical and sophisticated. We knew right away that we wanted our wedding here. The wedding coordinator, Jane Spair, was amazing to work with! She was so flexible in customizing our package and allowing us to decorate how we wanted. She is professional, responsive, and executed a perfect wedding reception for us. And, the food is honestly delicious! Much better then all wedding food we've had before. We were blown away at the tasting and many of our guests complimented the food. We would highly recommend!

I have absolutely no complaints with the Royal Fox! Jane Spair, who is the Wedding Sales Director, is absolutely amazing. First off, Jane is such a kind person, and she is flexible with her clients! My fiancé and I ended up changing our reception start time three times and Jane worked with us until we had the perfect reception timeline. On the day of the wedding, Jane took my photographer, fiancé, and myself around the property to find perfect picture areas for our wedding photos. In regards to the reception venue itself, the place is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful! I would recommend anyone getting married in Chicagoland to celebrate it at the Royal Fox.

The longer version: We were thrilled with every aspect of our wedding at the Royal Fox. Jane is SO wonderful to work with and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. She takes great care to ensure every detail is accounted for and that I had a clear picture of how the evening would go well before the actual wedding day - this was a huge help in easing pre-wedding stress! Everything was executed as promised and we are still getting compliments from friends and family (some of whom are known for being hard to impress!) about the beautiful venue, the delicious food, and the friendly & professional wait staff. Booking the Royal Fox as our reception venue was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning and I will continue to recommend the Royal Fox with confidence and enthusiasm to friends and family looking to book their wedding reception in the future.

Everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding day in large part due to the effort of Jane and the entire team behind her. They took our vision and made it into a reality!!

Firstly, Jane was accommodating from day 1. She worked with every single detail to ensure that everything went off without a hitch, starting from the date of our wedding, the time (which we changed several times) and all of the vendor accommodations. She ensured that all facets of the facility were available for our beautiful reception.

Where Royal Fox (and Jane) really came through was the weeks leading into the wedding. We had several changes with our flower vendor which Jane helped us out with, several table and seating changes which Jane made sure would fit and have a good flow throughout the wedding, and even last minute meal changes to make sure everyone was satisfied throughout.

Even during the entire wedding Jane came up to us several times to ensure everything was exactly how we envisioned it and we were happy with everything from the food, to the bar and wait staff, and all other vendors we were utilizing were happy as well.

This wedding truly would not have been nearly as special if it wasn't for the hard work and countless hours that Jane and the entire Royal Fox staff put in to make our dream a reality. The accommodations were beautiful and we are so excited to see the pictures to remind us how extremely special our day was.

Jane and her team are amazing! Every single question I had- and believe me it was a lot- was answered quickly and accurately. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and the food was wonderful. I also think its worth noting that the price per plate is very very comparable to places in the area that are no where near as nice as Royal Fox.

Jane was absolutely amazing and our wedding was stunningly beautiful! Our food was excellent and the staff was friendly. We are still getting compliments about our wedding three months later! Jane was perfectly attentive and helped with every question and need we had. I would recommend Royal Fox to anyone looking for a beautiful, traditional, and elegant wedding.

It was a wonderful "magical" wedding, that is what many of our guests were saying. The Royal Fox Country Club was the perfect setting for our daughter & son-in-law's wedding. Jane Spair, event coordinator, helped us through the entire planning from beginning to the end. She and the staff set up the venue exactly how we had planned. Etienne was also there throughout the day/evening to be sure everything ran smoothly and that it did. Our guests raved about the food, kudos to the chef for the perfectly cooked filets and the flavorful and succulent chicken. The bartender's and servers were among the best, they were accommodating and efficient, all with a smile and such a willingness to assist.
We are, by far, so very happy that we decided to have our wedding at The Royal Fox.

Jane is by far the best wedding coordinator out there. She helped with every step. She even waited to leave on her vacation until after the food was served at our wedding. She went above and beyond. I knew what I wanted for our wedding and she took it to another level. Blew my Mind!

Jane Spair was the best wedding planner anyone could ask for! We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Royal Fox, everything was perfect, it is beautiful inside and outside. Our ceremony was outside and it was absolutely perfect, it was like a movie. The reception was also beyond beautiful! The food was delicious! Besides being a beautiful location to get married and celebrate, Jane Spair made everything a breeze! From the first email I sent requesting information about possibly having a wedding at the Royal Fox, to scheduling a time to see the venue, Jane made it an obvious choice to have our wedding there and to have Jane be our planner. Best decision! Jane made every step of the way so easy for us, it took ALL the stress out of planning our wedding! My husband and I were able to actually have the absolute best time at our own wedding because we knew everything was taken care of! The entire staff was so attentive and polite. We had a great wedding at the Royal Fox. Jane helped make the day very special, and quite literally treated us like a king and queen. The food was hot (and delicious), the staff was professional and friendly, above all they made our day stress free and perfect. We are very happy we chose to have our wedding here, and will forever have such amazing memories thanks to the staff. Also, this place is just beautiful, both inside and out. We just recently had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at Royal Fox! Its was BEYOND beautiful and by far exceeded our expectations. Not only were they great to work with in the beginning- very timely about returning my calls/emails and getting me all the information I was requesting, but throughout the planning process they were so accommodating to my changing plans, drop in guest list, drop in budget, and new additions! When the day of my wedding arrived, I was so nervous as to how it would look as I designed all the décor. When I walked in, it was more than I could have hoped for! They completely transformed the venue into MY wedding! They added some extra touches that made it even more beautiful as well! My guests were all raving about how friendly the staff was, how yummy the food was, and how beautiful the venue was! We choose to do our ceremony inside and it was just as beautiful as it would have been outside! The pictures we took outside were stunning locations (water options, huge trees, gazebos, wooden bridges... just to name a few! I would recommended this venue to anyone that asked! they turned my dream wedding into a reality!

We had our wedding reception at the Royal Fox Country Club just about a month ago. Our experience was wonderful, Jane was helpful and flexible. All the staff was professional and kind, the pricing was reasonable. We were very pleased with every aspect of our experience working with the Royal Fox. The Royal Fox Country Club is the most romantic, classic, and accomidating venue. As soon as my mother and I met with Jane the wedding coordinator, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She did everything she could to make sure my wedding day was the very perfect! The venue could not be any more beautiful! The classic tall windows, beautiful grand piano, stunning chandeliers were all the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. The venue made me feel like a beautiful bride! Everything on the day of our wedding was taken care of. I did not need to worry or even think of anything that was missing because Jane took care of everything! The staff was very attentive, all the guests loved their meal, and we had the perfect day! I am so glad we found the royal fox country club for our wedding! I would reconmend this venue to everyone who is getting married! If you want an indoor ceremony, or tent venue they accomodate everything! We can not say thank you enough to our wonderful Jane and staff at the royal fox who made our day so special!

Jane Spair was the most helpful event coordinator. She paid attention to every detail, and even added her own personal touches. Very approachable, and willing to listen to you and your ideas. Accommodated every idea we had, and even made suggestions to only add to the elegance of the wedding. Very understanding of all our needs. I would highly recommend this venue, and especially this coordinator. She was delightful. No worries about having the wedding of your dreams here.

Royal Fox Counrty Club was in my book went beyond the scope of perfessionalism. Jane Spair and her staff was impeccable with helping me accomplish a goal of making a magical day for my nephew and his bride. As a florist from another state coming into a venue I was worried that what I had planned was not to be allowed. Jane was more than accommodating to see what I had planned. The sketches and pictures I brought along gave her an idea of what was to come. I came in three days prior to the wedding and Jane allowed me to build an incredible fall arche outside for when guest arrived. When walking into Royal Fox guest where greeted with a beautiful display of fall trees, lanterns, crystals, candles, and fresh flowers. Once passing into the venue to the grand ball room I built arrangement that stood 4 feet off the tables. The candle operas on the head table completed the adornment of the wedding cake which had crystals and white flowers draping down onto the table. I would never been able to accomplish this without the help of Jane and her staff. The evening was magical for all the guest and bride and groom. I can not express enough to Jane and Royal Fox Country Club for all they did for myself and my family. Thank you for allowing me this gift to the Nephew and new Niece. Doing this for 18 years I have come across many venues and by far Royal Fox came across as my top choice in venue. From the venue, drinks, food, professional staff. It was perfect!!!! Thank you again Jane and Royal Fox Country Club.

Beautiful location, delicious food, great service and a wonderful wedding coordinator! I looked at many different venues and the Royal Fox provided a beautiful location for a large amount of guests~180 and was a great value!! When it came to making a seating chart the large tables of which sat 8-10 was very helpful. My husband and the groomsmen favorite excursion was driving the golf carts around the golf course to take pictures which was a nice break to just taking pictures the whole time. We had a band and had plenty of room(we just moved the bridal party table which was on the dance floor off after dinner). The coordinator Jane is soo helpful from the first meeting to the tasting to the actual day!

We really enjoyed working with Jane. She was professional, and went out of her way to make our day special. We had a worry free and beautiful reception. The food was amazing! Our guests raved about it long after the reception.

From the first request for information, working with Jane from Royal Fox has been such a pleasure. She has been exceptionally generous with her time and met with us twice on her day off. My first meeting with her made me feel like I was talking with a long-time family friend. I was immediately in love with the space and honestly so giddy that I forgot a lot of the specifics that we discussed. Afterward, I emailed Jane a number of times with more questions and she always responded quickly. When it was time to show my fiance the venue, I thought it would be a quick walk through, but we were there for over an hour. Jane was so welcoming and kind. She answered all my fiance's concerns and it was wonderful to him envision our wedding for the first time.

Jane also gave us a number of recommendations for other vendors in the area and we are so glad that she did. I wasn't the girl that had her wedding planned in her head, so I need all the help I can get. I really appreciate all that Jane has done for us so far and I can't wait to continue working with her on the plans for the biggest day of my life.

Our experience at The Royal Fox Country Club was extraordinary. From the first day we stopped by for our initial visit, to the moment our special evening adjourned, we were given nothing but the best treatment by this establishment. Jane Spair was our main contact at The Royal Fox, and she helped us achieve the night we had planned for, and did so by making any planning she was involved in easy and seamless. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and the venue was clean and inviting. The venue's rooms and spaces were brought to life the day/night of our wedding, and there was nothing that fell short of our expectations (and, even though I was an easy going bride, my expectations the day-of, after alllll of the planning we'd done, were fairly high). From the exterior grounds to the lighting, tables and chairs, and from the layout of the rooms to the structure of the building - this venue is stunning. What is more, the food was EXCELLENT (and my husband and I are quite the foodies!). We had our ceremony and reception at the Royal Fox Country Club and had a wonderful experience. Jane, the wedding coordinator made planning easy and went above and beyond all our expectations. Choosing Royal Fox for our wedding venue was the best wedding planning decision that we could have made. First of all, it is a stunning location. We loved the look of the country club, but also of the grounds. Secondly, Jane Spair is a dream to work with. She is truly wonderful at her job. She made sure things were exactly how we wanted them, and calmed me down when I got stressed out. She is also simply a kind and wonderful woman who I was thrilled to be able to work with.

We loved taking pictures on the golf course. My wedding party was really excited to drive the golf carts around to get to the picture spot. The pictures turned out beautiful!

I had my 12/28/13 wedding at the Royal Fox Country Club in St. Charles - and it was GORGEOUS! The staff is amazing - all they want is for you to be happy and comfortable and they do everything in their power to accommodate your needs and wishes.

Jane Spair, the banquet coordinator, has exquisite taste and an extraordinarily high level of professionalism. She is truly fantastic and so is her staff!

Jamie was our day of coordinator, and we never had to worry about the slightest thing. She was flexible, kind and quick to assist anyone who approached her. Jamie was awesome!

Oh and the FOOD! 10000% DELICIOUS! 79 steaks and NOT ONE was under or over-cooked. They melted in your mouth! Also the presentation of the food is just the height of loveliness. The servers were super efficient and gracious - they quickly delivered plate after plate of piping hot, scrumptious food. The bartender made delicious drinks and never skimped on the alcohol - fun was had by all!

The entire facility is immaculately maintained and decorated. If you love classic elegance with a historical twist, then this is the venue for you. You cannot go wrong with this place, choose the Royal Fox and you will have the perfect wedding, like I did! :)

I don't know what to say, but I am so happy we had our wedding at Royal Fox. Jane was amazing and really awesome to work with. She really helped to make sure everything ran smoothly on our day. All of our guests still compliment us on how beautiful this place was and how good all of the food was!

My wife and I were married on 10/26/2013, and decided to have our reception at Royal Fox Country Club in St. Charles, IL. We looked at multiple different venues, but once we looked at Royal Fox, and met Jane Spair, we were in love. The venue is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly, the event coordinator Jane Spair was amazing. Once we met with Jane, our stress levels decreased significantly! After discussing all of our different options w/ her, and deciding what our menu was going to consist of, we knew we would be able to leave the rest up to her, and everything would be perfect. Jane made both of us feel at ease. The actual venue was gorgeous, and the food was wonderful! Our guests could not get over how good the food was, as well as how elegant the room was. The reception alone, truly made my wife feel like a princess, and in my eyes, that's all that matters. Our servers went above and beyond to keep everyone happy. We actually tried to find the names of certain servers, just so we could give them a little something. Jane Spair is a professional, and she is absolutely amazing at what she does! We feel as if we made a new life long friend. She gets as involved as you want her to be. If you're a couple that wants to be more hands on, then that's ok w/ her, but if your a couple that is willing to trust someone that knows what she's doing, then she'll work her magic. Either way, you'll be in great hands! Overall, our experience at Royal Fox was more than we could have wished for! I highly recommend having your reception and/or any other event at Royal Fox. My wife and I have already inquired about anniversary parties! :) We just want another excuse to go back to Royal Fox!

Our daughter's wedding reception was perfect! Working with Jane was truly a breeze. She recommended vendors to us and we ended up choosing these people. Jane took care of every detail and then some we had not thought of. I will tell you, that there was not one thing we would have done differently. Royal Fox, Jane and her staff out did themselves to make our event perfect and our daughter glowing all evening. Thank you so very much.

Jane was amazing to work with. She makes you feel like your wedding is the only wedding she is working on. She is great with the little details. She wants to make sure your day is the best that it can be.

The room at the Royal Fox is beautiful. If you are looking for something other than a banquet room, this is your place. It is like having people into your home on a very grand scale. The feel is so much more elegant than a banquet room. If you have a larger wedding you will need to use the extra room. We were worried that people would not like sitting in there. That was not the case, people actually liked being in that room. It was close to the bar, sweet table and the photo station.

The food is great. There are many choices and Jane will work with you on what you want. The sweet table was wonderful. Jane set it up so beautiful. We had great feedback, from our guests, on the food and also on the sweet table.

I am so happy that we chose to have the reception at the Royal Fox. It is a wonderful and unique place to have a reception.

This wedding reception could not have turned out nicer. All along we braced ourselves for some minor things to go wrong with the hope that nothing major went wrong. To our surprise, there were not even any minor problems. The room was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the staff could not have been friendlier. Jane Spair, Director of Banquets, went above and beyond to make sure this was a successful, beautiful and fun reception. Even as we tweaked things in the 11th hour, she was calm and took care of everything. Her work behind the scenes is incredible. We had several options for venues and are so thankful we decided on Royal Fox. We also held our rehearsal dinner at their sister club, Royal Hawk, and that was awesome too.

We had our wedding there in early April and everything was beyond perfect!! The food and drinks were wonderful! The venue is so beautiful on it's own, but when I saw it completely decorated, it took my breath away. Jane made wedding planning so much fun! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went flawlessly. She also was extremely helpful when trying to pick out other vendors. Every person she recommended made our day even more amazing.

I knew right away I wanted our November 10, 2012 wedding reception at Royal Fox. The building and the grounds are just gorgeous - it was the perfect location. Working with event coordinator, Jane Spair, is a dream. She listened to all my ideas and thoughts, made fantastic suggestions, and did everything to make our day run smoothly and look beautiful! The food at Royal Fox is absolutely delicious, and we had many guests tell us how much they enjoyed dinner. Besides the cake, we chose to have a dessert table, and Jane set up a selection of desserts and pastries fit for a king. After all the effort I put into planning, it was so wonderful to be able to sit back and truly the day. Jane took care of all the details. She even set aside a plate of appetizers for my husband and I (and our parents) because we weren't able to enjoy them during the receiving line. When my bridesmaids were having trouble bustling my dress, Jane stepped in and saved the day! She made sure that every inch of the room was just gorgeous. If you choose to have your wedding at Royal Fox, you really will be treated like royalty!

My husband and I got married at The Royal Fox on September 15, 2012. When we first began searching for a venue we had looked at numerous locations both in the city and in the suburbs. Once we finally had it narrowed down to two venues, the final decision was easy. While both country clubs we were looking at offered similar wedding packages and features, we decided to go with The Royal Fox mainly due to their wedding coordinator, Jane Spair. She was extremely friendly, personal, accomodating, and helpful from the moment we booked all the way through our wedding night.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and its beauty is matched by the service, professionalism and friendliness of the people that work there. Our outdoor ceremony was equally as beautiful and ended just as the sun was setting which made for gorgeous pictures. Jane and her wonderful staff did a great job of setting everything up and put so much time and effort into the decorating and precise planning. Everything looked better then we could have ever imagined and they definitely exceeded our expectations. Jane and her staff went above and beyond!

We had so many compliments on everything from their delicious food, service, linens, cocktails, beautiful decorations, stunning views, etc. We have absolutely no complaints! We have heard numerous times from our friends and family that it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to. Residing in the southern suburbs, my husband and I chose to host our “mini-destination” wedding at the Royal Fox in Saint Charles. Located on the outskirts of the beautiful and historic city, we immediately fell in love with the design of the Royal Fox, which replicates Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. Our ceremony, which was brought indoors last minute due to the weather, was gorgeous in front of the large bay windows that looked out to the scenery. Many of our guests assumed we had planned for an indoor ceremony from the beginning! We are still receiving compliments on the appetizers and food served! Our wedding dreams all made possible by the special events coordinator, Jane Spair. Jane is professional, positive, informative, and creative. Upon a last minute emergency with my Mother’s health, Jane was comforting and accommodating ensuring accessibility, and providing for our last minute family needs. I highly recommend this beautiful venue! Given the option, we would do it all again, in the exact same way!!

From the moment you meet wedding coordinator, Jane Spair you are assured that the wedding details are in gifted hands. She is caring, personable and professional. The food, linens, service and beautiful setting of Royal Fox made my daughter's wedding a memorable event. We had our wedding in March, and everything was perfect! Our guests couldn't get over how amazing the food was! Jane was the wedding coordinator, and she made everything stunning, we didn't have to worry about a thing!

Working with Jane throughout the process of planning my wedding was wonderful. She was unflaggingly gracious and incredibly flexible. Because I was planning the wedding from out of the state, much of our communication was over e-mail and phone calls, and she was always quick to respond and truly a pleasure to work with. As for the day of the event, I have had so many of the wedding guests praising the food, the ambience, the dancefloor (my family loves to dance!), the service, everything. I had a feeling that I would love to host my family and friends there, that's why I chose the Royal Fox. But truly, Jane and the entire staff far exceeded my expectations. The food and service were splendid, our guests were comfortable and well provided for, and the only thing left for us to do was celebrate! We are so happy to have chosen the Royal Fox and would highly recommend it.

Everything at Royal Fox was 5 Star. The reception is still being talked about by the mother of the bride's friends as the best reception they have ever attended. The dream wedding for their daughters! Food was excellent and warm when served to 200 guests. The room is spectacular on it's own no need to waste money on flower arrangements. Jane Spair the coordinator for Royal Fox was very dedicated and made sure everything was perfect, you would have thought she was the bride. Absolutely no complaints. Spectacular event!

Fell in love with this place as soon as I looked at it. Bonded so well with Jane. All of our guests thought the place was so impressive. Another bonus is that the chairs are so pretty they don't need the chair covers that end up costing so much. The bar is set down with is actually really nice looking. I loved everything about the place. Jane took so much time and effort into the decorating and precise planning. Together the whole place did a wonderful job. Food and cake was delicious as well!!! I cannot say enough good things about the Royal Fox! The moment that I first walked into the Royal Fox, I knew that was where I wanted my reception to be. Jane did an excellent job of coordinating everything from the cocktails by the pool to the linens. The food was fabulous! It was so nice to be able to have a full tasting before the wedding. The entire atmosphere at the Royal Fox is tasteful with a unique charm that you won't find at most reception venues. The Royal Fox is definitely a hidden gem in the St. Charles area!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of having our wedding ceremony reception at the Royal Hawk and formal wedding reception at the Royal Fox. The beauty of these two places is amazing, Dan and Jane, the coordinators, are wonderful, and I am so happy that I found and chose the Royal Country Clubs for my special day. Upon walking into the Royal Fox, I was immediately impressed by the uniqueness and beauty of the rooms. That being said, the work Jane does to transform the room into a magical place is absolutely breathtaking. I was told by almost all of my guests that they had never seen such a beautiful wedding. I could not have been happier with the way things turned out. Aside from the obvious beauty of these country clubs, what impressed me as well was how accomodating, helpful, honest and just wonderful people Dan and Jane are. They will go out of their way to ensure your special day is perfect. They are hard-working, detail oriented, willing to go above and beyond, and honest. Working with Dan, Jane, and the rest of the Royal family is exactly who you want to work with when planning a special occasion, especiallly a wedding. Now that my wedding is over, I actually miss talking with them and having a reason to go see them. I would also like to mention the food. The food is five star. The chefs at the Royal Fox are very talented and provide high-end food that is beautiful and delicioius. I HIGHLY recommend the Royal Country Clubs as a wedding venue or a venue for any special occasion. They are the BEST in all categories.

My wife and I had the pleasure of booking our wedding at the Royal Fox Country Club in late August 2010. We absolutely couldn't be happier with the entire event (from the planning stages through to the big night). Jane Spair (The Royal Fox Event Coordinator) was phenomenal, the room was elegant, the location/golf views are amazing, food was delicious, staff was gracious and accommodating... basically, they know how to run a great event. No matter what we needed, Jane made it work. Even last minute adjustments were done swiftly and without fail. Not only does the Royal Fox offer a terrific venue, but the cost is also very reasonable. I could go on & on about each & every advantage Jane Spair and the Royal Fox Country Club have to offer, but I will sum it up as concisely as possible... if you haven't booked your wedding location yet, book the Royal Fox as soon as possible, and if you've booked another location, forget the deposit and book the Royal Fox.

Having our reception at the Royal Fox was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding for so many reasons. First of all, it was in the budget, which we were shocked about given the country club atmosphere. Second, the facilities are incredibly beautiful. I was originally unsure about the "L" shape of the room, but after the event, I was actually grateful for it, because it kept the bar from being the center of attention and provided a variety of spaces for our guests to congregate. Third, the food was delicious - we got so many compliments. Fourth, (and for me this was the biggest thing), we LOVED working with Jane, the wedding coordinator. She was so helpful, so sweet, and really went above and beyond to make our event really fun and special. If you're looking for a country club reception, this is definitely the place to go!!!

First, the ambiance inside the dining room was perfect. Royal Fox is not your boring enclosed hotel banquet room. I cannot remember how my husband and I discovered this treasure but it was not in any of the bridal magazines.
Between opposite work schedules and both of us not liking to plan parties, just attend them, Jane made everything so easy! I did not have any second thoughts with her in charge.
We received many compliments on the room and most importantly, the food and service. Thank you to Jane and her staff. We will be back for a future family party.

This was our first stop while looking at wedding venues. I had my doubts, I thought for sure it would be a stuck up, uptight venue. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Jane Spair. She was so welcoming, really accommodating and fun. We went to 11 other places that day and none were as good as this. The venue is great, only one wedding at a time in a beautiful setting, without an outrageous guest minimum. The food was awesome, and we received many compliments. Each of the staff was very responsive and professional. And of course, Jane! We felt like she was our family in the way she cared for every detail. We trusted her with everything, and it was perfect!! We couldn't have asked for more and our guests had a great time! We will definitely plan more events at the Royal Fox. We truly love Jane!!! What a wonderful place to have a wedding....and Jane was the best!!!! Out of all the people I worked with on the wedding Jane was the easiest to work with and did a great job of meeting our needs (and putting up with a crazy mom from time to time).

Absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding reception and outstanding food and service. Jane Spair, the wedding coordinator was super organized and a delight to work with. The banquet room is perfect if you are looking for an intimate/romantic setting for your reception. The food was top-notch too!

It was truly amazing working with Jane to help plan our reception. She had unique and creative ideas to add a special touch to our celebration that helped make our reception stand out from others. Our reception was personalized and several of our guests commented on how beautiful it all was. Jane is an amazing event coordinator. She was with us ever step of the way. If we were unsure of anything, she was right there helping us through it. She also took us around the course so we had the best places to take pictures. I would recommend her to anyone.

The beginning was a little rocky when I couldn't get a hold of anyone, but am I SO GLAD I DID!! I would not change a thing!! It was a little pricey but I think it's worth the value!! Everyone loved the venue, absolutely beautiful, they LITERALLY did everything I asked and dreamed of. I had a very detailed wedding, and they pulled everything off. I could not say better things! Jane & her staff are absolutely wonderful!! I would recommend this venue to everyone I know!!

We decided to have our August 27 wedding at the Royal Fox pretty quickly as we walked through the venue the first time because it is so unique and impressive...just what we were looking for! Besides we could have an outdoor ceremony (my dream) and the food had outstanding reviews (his demand). Jane is the coordinator at the Royal Fox, and she is a PRO. Our day was "a real-life fairytale" (per my grandma), and I couldn't agree more. Jane completely put our decor over the top with final touches that I hadn't thought to put together. The food was OUTSTANDING and our entire day went off without a hitch. It ran so smoothly that if anything went wrong...I have no idea about it! She's that good! We haven't stopped hearing about what a lovely venue it was, and I'm so glad we found it!

After my husband and I got engaged, we moved to California. Planning a wedding in general can be a job in itself, but planning a wedding from out of state is beyond stressful. While in California, my family helped us and went on “venue visits” all over the Chicago-land area. Booking the Royal Fox was the BEST wedding planning decision we made. I’m not sure where to start… the amazing wedding coordinator Jane? the friendly chef? kind staff? Delicious food?

When planning your big day, you will be working closely with your wedding coordinator. At the Royal Fox CC, the wedding coordinator Jane truly cares. Seriously. She listens, gives advice, guides, asks questions… Jane goes above and beyond. You are NOT treated as just another wedding on the books; she gets to know you, your taste, dislikes, everything. I brought my in-laws to the venue, just to show them around, and we ran into the Chef. He’s amazing. Incredibly talented, very friendly, and gave us a background on his experience. The day of our wedding, there was a little confusion with our florist, and Jane had to cut down all the flowers that were delivered and filled all of the vases herself. (She’s amazing right? Not everyone would do that) The food? Delicious is an understatement. Perfection. 4 weeks after our wedding, I still have family and weeks after our wedding, I still have family and friends talking about how great the food was, and how beautiful the venue looked. We had broccoli soup, martha’s blend salad, and filet & chicken combo. Even the bartenders and staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly and attentive. Oh, and to top it off, we had about 175 people and it was affordable. Amazing staff, food AND affordable? It’s true.

If you are looking for a venue, you honestly owe it to yourself to check out the Royal Fox. I will forever recommend this venue and remember our beautiful October wedding.

We originally avoided Royal Fox because we assumed it would be out of our budget. It would have saved us lots of time spent looking at other venues if we had just inquired about Royal Fox's pricing first. Royal Fox is a great value: the space is stunning, the food and service are wonderful, and Jane could not be kinder or more accommodating. We had lots of funny requests, and she met all of them, in some cases making them even better with her ideas. Your happiness is their first priority.

Beautiful club, great food, organized and detailed oriented staff. This was an amazing place to have a wedding. There were a couple of things I would have adjusted, but overall...oh, my gosh, I was so pleased. My family and bridal party, and friends were treated with great care and as as we were top priority. I felt great about how they listened to what I wanted and delivered the day of my wedding.

Rated 5 stars--app would t let me choose 5 stars. Jane was very open to the ideas and visions that the Florist/decorator had. She was helpful in both providing for setup and assisting in take down activity. Even though the venue had their fall decor in place we were allowed to remove that which did not coincide with the decor and theme of the wedding. Jane was very responsive prior to the event for questions and during the event--even when a few extra showed up. She worked our event around those standard activities of the venue with no impact to the wedding celebration. Jane and the venue were very accommodating and open minded. Because of Jane's assisrance, the wedding was a very memorable and magical evening that guests Are talking about weeks afterward.

Many of the past positive reviews included Jane, however, she is no longer with the Royal Fox and unfortunately left during the critical planning for our wedding, with no replacement. The verdict is out on the venue because we definitely did not have a great planning experience. We were not told that Jane left, had weeks of no response to critical final plans and in general, the person in charge of the Royal Fox didn't seem to really care. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff were all very nice and helpful. If you decide to use it now, take a lot of notes and be ready to do most of the work.

I was very disappointed with my services. I had a great time at my wedding, but there were so many negatives said about the venue that I would never recommend this place. I loved the inside. It fit my theme perfectly. Jane was very nice to talk with as well. However, there were so many questions that seemed to go unanswered as the day approached that I should have known there would be issues. If it weren't for me hiring my own wedding planner, the day would have been a complete disaster. They offer this cool sign to hang in the driveway when pulling up, they spelled our last name wrong. Guests that saw the sign commented that it would have been cool if we got one of those... I had to tell them it was ours, just mispelled. We payed extra to keep the bar open during dinner hour. I found out they didn't start serving for 25 minutes into it (which is hundreds of dollars wasted). When I contacted the venue regarding this they commented that they kept the bar open longer during cocktail hour so compensated by closing for dinner. THAT is not what we discussed and we had guests complaining. Also, I heard the bartenders were rude to people about the bar not opening. They also did not have the ceremony site set up until 15 minutes before our ceremony. They pulled the extra help that I hired to help them set up which was ridiculous. I payed for that person to do other stuff, not what the venue promised to have done. This also caused the florist to have to leave and come back later to finish setting up. They didn't have my stuff set up early, but when we were still there and finishing the night, staff started taking my centerpieces off of tables and throwing them at my wedding planner to put away and were placing new linens on tables for the next day. They were pink... thank you so much for not having my stuff ready, but being that ready for the next day so we can see. All of these complaints came from guests... except for the sign. Unacceptable.
