Delivered an amazing ceremony
Roxanne helped us in a pinch when our plans for our officiant fell through a month before the wedding. Roxanne was a professional, calming, and supportive director to our ceremony and rehearsal. She made us all feel relaxed and well informed, as well as helping direct us in what to do. The ceremony she gave was beautiful and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. She also personalized the ceremony to our story and included an additional reading I wanted done. Thank you Roxanne! -

Roxanne is a gem!
When we first met with Roxanne, she took the time to get to know us by asking questions about our families and our love story. She incorporated what she learned into a draft wedding ceremony and also provided ideas and samples for readings, vows and the ring exchange. She readily accepted our feedback and incorporated our minor updates into the ceremony. We first met Roxanne in person for our wedding rehearsal and she was very friendly with us and engaged with our families as well. Due to weather changes, we had to change the location of our ceremony at the last minute. Roxanne was very flexible with the change and kept us calm through it all. We loved our beautiful wedding ceremony, and our guests appreciated Roxanne and all of her personal touches. We would highly recommend Roxanne as a wedding officiant due to her professionalism, organization, responsiveness, and sense of humor!!! -

Roxanne was so helpful, responsive, dependable, and organized! She was helpful planning the ceremony by providing us with many different options to choose from where we didn’t know where to start. I loved how she wanted to know our history then incorporating it very nicely into the ceremony. Everything went smoothly! She helped make it a great day! -

Roxanne was organized, helpful, and supportive beginning from the moment we met her. Being from CT, Roxanne guided my husband and I through the licensing process in MA and calmed our nerves every step of the way. I feel the ceremony is the most important part of the wedding. It is the time when you and your partner vow to spend the rest of your lives together. Roxanne had everyone (including me) crying the entire time. Every single guest came up to me raving about the ceremony, describing how intimate and well crafted the quotes were, and how much they loved Roxanne. Working with Roxanne for our wedding on 9/22/23 was one of the best decisions we made! She worked closely with us through the entire process to make sure the ceremony was exactly what we envisioned and tailored it to our love. She was response whenever we had questions leading up to the day and made the rehearsal, ceremony, and licensing all go so smoothly! A Lovely Ceremony
Roxanne was our JP at the Barn At Wight Farm in June 2023. We had a fantastic experience with Roxanne, from our initial planning meeting to the rehearsal to the ceremony. The best JoP!
Roxanne was our officiant for our wedding on 4/21/23 and she was fantastic to work with from the time we booked her to the actual wedding day! She helped ease all of our concerns about the big day, answered all of our many questions, and created a beautiful ceremony for us. Her fun and light-hearted demeanor eased the tension for both of us, especially through the rehearsal and ceremony. She is so personable and took care to really listen to our story to incorporate personal details which was so special. She was also extremely flexible and full of suggestions when we described not wanting a lot of the formal ceremony wording/readings. It is evident she really cares about the couples she officiates for! -

Amazing Experience!
We reached out to Roxanne when our original plan to have an friend officiate fell through and we are SO happy it did, because working with Roxanne made everything so much easier. She is clearly a professional at what she does and it shows. She was organized, informative and thoughtful. When we ran into issues with our license paperwork (our town hall's fault) she was extremely responsive and helped us problem solve ASAP. Our guests loved her during the ceremony and we agree. We planned our tiny, private wedding ceremony very last minute and Roxanne was amazing about being super responsive and willing to work with us to make everything perfect. Fantastic Experience!
Roxanne, not only very professional, was so incredible to work with. Roxanne had us laughing the whole time-she is hilarious! Roxanne guided us through all of the paperwork and every step of the ceremony to ensure we didn’t forget anything and that we understood how the ceremony would be structured. She also was very patient with us, as we really waited until the last minute to finish our vows. We highly recommend Roxanne! -

Roxanne was so professional and so responsive. I wasn’t feeling well for our ceremony she pivoted and cut out things to make it shorter without losing the essence of it. My husband and I absolutely loved Roxanne. We didn't want anything traditional, but we still wanted to make the day special. She made us feel like we were a priority and helped calm our nerves. There is not enough that I can say about our experience with Roxanne. From our initial meeting to our wedding day, Roxanne made us feel comfortable and taken care of. She helped us to make sure we knew what to expect from start to finish. For the ceremony she really understood who we were as a couple and that was made clear through our ceremony. Easy, thoughtful, professional
Roxanne was a treat to work with. She was so helpful, easy to work with, and took time to get to know us. The wedding planning process was so overwhelming for us. Roxanne's kind demeanor and stress-free approach was very comforting. She helped us think through what we wanted to say during the ceremony and then worked with us to perfect it to our own. From the marriage certificate process to the actual ceremony, she walked us through everything. I was so blown away by her attentiveness, professionalism and thoughtfulness. Absolutely wonderful!
If you are planning on getting married in Sturbridge, you need Roxanne to officiate your wedding! She is professional, extremely personable, and always easy to get in touch with. She worked with us over a Zoom call to draft up the ceremony, and after we received her draft in the mail, she was very flexible when we asked for minor changes. Our guests had nothing but rave reviews for the ceremony...everything from short and sweet, to moving and beautiful.
Roxanne is very knowledgeable about applying for a marriage license in the state of Massachusetts, which was helpful because we live outside of Massachusetts and it is done differently in our state. Our timeline was tight, and she suggested that we drop the marriage license off at her home, because it could get lost in the mail and it wouldn’t be ready for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she made me feel very comfortable, reminded me to take deep breaths, and even handed me a vintage handkerchief to blot the happy tears from my eyes. What can I say about Roxanne that hasn’t already been said by everyone else who has gotten married by her? She is the best and we highly recommend her!

Roxanne is the best!
Roxanne did such an amazing job!
She made us feel relaxed on a day filled with excitement and nerves. She knew how to lighten the mood and is very down to earth and friendly. She was always down for a video chat, and was very responsive through email. When speaking to Roxanne, it was like talking to an old friend.
Roxanne was also very flexible with how we wanted our ceremony to go. She let us do pretty much whatever we wanted and was easy going about it. She was also very quick and professional - she had our vows printed and ready for us to read the day of the ceremony.
We can't thank Roxanne enough for everything. If you choose Roxanne as your Justice of the Peace, your ceremony will go smoothly. -

Kind, timely, and organized!
Thank you so much Roxanne for marrying us! We contacted her just a few weeks before our wedding (our initial JP had an emergency come up) asking if she could please take us, and she squeezed us in. From the get-go, she kept us on track and organized with what we needed to do. We wanted a small, intimate ceremony with just us 2 and our son, and that’s exactly what she created. Amazing Professional and Personable JOP!
Roxanne was exactly the JOP that my husband and I wanted. First off, she was extremely flexible with timing! We through our wedding together last minute and Roxane was able to meet for a pre-conference, write our ceremony, attend our rehearsal, and officiate our wedding all within a month's notice. During our pre-conference, I appreciated how thorough Roxanne's questions were so that she could really get to know my husband and me as a couple. I felt like she truly understood the type of ceremony we wanted and was able to reflect that in a beautifully written script. Not only was the ceremony lovely, but Roxanne was also extremely funny! Our guest complimented us on how entertaining she made the ceremony for everyone. She encapsulated everything we wanted for our wedding ceremony and we have already recommended her to 2 of our friends!! -

Absolutely Amazing
Roxanne was fabulous. From the first time we reached out to inquire about process and pricing and logistics, she was responsive and kind and really cared about making this a quality experience for my now husband and I! She spent over an hour on the phone with both of us to develop our ceremony and make sure it reflected us and our relationship. Our wedding day was hot, really hot and I will always have this memory- I was sitting alone in this private structure, waiting for guests to arrive and Roxanne came to introduce herself to me and she was carrying her black robe. she asked me “do you mind if I don’t fasten my robe all the way?” And I was like “of course, I mean don’t wear it, save yourself!” And we laughed, and of course for her own reasons she did need to wear it. she did and even without it fully buttoned up in the front, she sweated her face off through the ceremony and I felt so bad! But she was so considerate and personable and made our ceremony short and sweet and meaningful and beautiful. my husband and I are overwhelmingly happy to have had her officiate our wedding and be a part of this process with us! -

Couldn't be happier!
My husband and I are so happy we chose Roxanne to officiate our wedding! We had to postpone our wedding twice and about 2 months before our wedding, the JP we had in place prior, was no longer able to do our wedding - this is where Roxanne came in and saved the day! We were so worried we wouldn't find someone with such short notice, but Roxanne came through for us and we are so glad she did! She was so incredibly easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable through the whole process. During the ceremony, she made it seem as if we had known her for years! Roxanne officiated our wedding, and we felt so incredibly lucky to have her. Leading up to the wedding day, she was helpful, answered all of our questions, and was very easy to work with. This review is long overdue; Roxanne officiated our small civil ceremony in August 2020. Long story short, we highly recommend Roxanne--she went above and beyond to make our small ceremony special! From the get-go Roxanne was easy to get in touch with and highly professional. We really appreciated that she worked with us to tailor the content of the civil ceremony to our quirks while also providing her own suggestions. She also provided helpful information about how marriage licenses work, and the ideal timing for getting that squared away. Marriage in the face of 2020

Ive never felt so much love before in one room

Wonderful experience
My husband and I were lucky enough to have one of the last wedding dates in 2020 not affected by Covid-19.

Roxanne is one of the kindest women Spencer and I have ever met! We had a Skype session before the wedding since we live in CA and were getting married in MA and Roxanne assured us that everything would run smoothly, and it did. It was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was beautiful and personal. We also received and unexpected wedding present from Roxanne which was so incredibly thoughtful. We can't thank you enough!

Roxanne was really friendly, professional and flexible. We were getting married in MA but live in Nova Scotia, but she was really good about Skyping with us and very quick on responding to emails and our questions. After meeting us, she suggested several vows that really captured the vibe we were going for. She was very helpful at the rehearsal and great on the day of our wedding. And the best part was that she was funny, which was a great fit for our personalities and the overall vibe of our wedding. Would highly recommend Roxanne as your J.O.P.! -

We were very happy we chose Roxanne to be our officiant for our wedding. In our first meeting we gave her just a few basic ideas, and she was able to create a unique ceremony that incorporated everything we wanted. She is very experienced and very organized, during our rehearsal dinner she made herself available to everyone in the ceremony who had any questions and concerns about anything. Our ceremony had to be moved in doors because of rain, Roxanne had taken extra time to prepare for the situation. For this reason our ceremony went beautifully and without a hitch. Thank you Roxanne! -

My husband and I were married in May 2016 by Roxanne the ceremony was exactly what we wished for, no more no less. Her professionalism, kindness and expertise were exceptional. She took the time to sit down and ask us what we had in mind and was able to walk us through everything, step by step, customizing our ceremony to suit us perfectly. We chose to work with Roxanne after receiving a recommendation from our wedding venue, and she was amazing! Following a great phone interview, my fiancé and I met with her in person and knew right away that she was the perfect choice as our officiant.
