We had the most amazing experience at Rose of the Hill. We got engaged and planned our wedding during the pandemic. We got married in March of 2021 at Rose of the Hill. They were so incredibly responsive from the time we reached out to see the venue down to the day of the event. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I credit it their attention to detail and organization. John and Quentin are both so friendly, organized and responsive. Quentin was so fantastic the day of the wedding. He kept everything moving smoothly and on time. He really is amazing. The food and overall experience was just outstanding. Our family and friends are still talking about how they loved the food and how much fun they had at the event. We can't recommend them enough! -

The were very accommodating and John was extremely helpful in the planning process as I has to plan from out of town. The staff did an incredible job from set-up to serving to boxing up decorations, etc. at the end of the evening. The food was wonderful and we could not have been happier. -

Sue Sent on 06/28/2015Favazza's did a wonderful job for our rehearsal dinner. We chose family style eating or dinner. Everything was prompt. The servers were professional and demonstrated excellent customer service. We hosted over 45 people and the room was more than accommodating & hosted a private bar. I would highly recommend for any event. -
Courtney Sent on 06/25/2018We just had our wedding reception at Rose of the Hill on June 23, 2018, and could NOT be happier with our choice!
First of all, Quentin Dunk is amazing to work with. He's extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, but the best part is how great he is on the actually day of your wedding. Quentin checked in with my husband and I SO many times to make sure we were getting everything we needed, he took care of our family and friends incredibly, and if there was a job to be done, Quentin jumped right in there to do it.
THE FOOD. Oh my goodness.... DE-LICIOUS. We decided to do a Family Style dinner and it was an absolute hit. Everyone commented on how quickly the food came out and how nice it was to be able to sit down while still getting to pick and choose what they wanted on their plate. And everyone said that the Penne with creamy tomato sausage and sage was their favorite =)
We would have our reception there all over again. DEFINITELY recommend. -

Cristina Sent on 06/02/2017We LOVED the food and the venue. They were very accommodating to our needs. I did, however, hear some complaints about the wait staff. Some of the wedding party at the head table said they had to go to the kitchen in order to get non alcoholic drinks or refills. There were other complaints of the staff taking away drinks or cake dishes too fast. Overall, we got a lot of compliments on the quality of the food, and the coordinator was easy to work with. -
User2322737 Sent on 09/18/2015We worked with John to coordinate our Rehearsal Dinner. John is great to work with, responsive to telephone and email communication, and very patient. John worked with us to find the dinner option that best suited the number of people we would be hosting and also meet everyone's expectations. It's no surprise, but the food was also delicious- the vegetables were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right! The wait staff for the event were a little on the slower side, bringing drinks down from the upstairs bar, but they were very nice and made sure everyone eventually got served. All in all, I would definitely recommend working with Favazza's for a rehearsal dinner option, and make sure to ask about their reception options too! (It wasn't a good fit for us, but worth exploring) -

User2395798 Sent on 10/28/2015I contacted Favazza's numerous times including meeting the staff in person, but I always felt like I had to make contact first. As if I was convincing them to cater my wedding instead of them wanting my business. I was never offered a catering tasting or contacted to set up a final meeting to sign any sort of catering contract. It was very surprising considering my family eats dinner there every week and the staff is always very helpful. I was very disappointed to not have the chance to have them cater my wedding and disappointed in the lack of customer service!

I am very sorry for any miscommunication on our part and I will take all responsibility. Believe me when I say this is not our norm.
We usually interview our prospective outside catering clients, discuss potential menus and set up details then supply a full written proposal so they can see all costs based on the clients needs. Also we contact the potential off site venue to discuss their rules and regulations and to see if we are allowed to cater there. After approval of the original proposal, we ask for a deposit, then and only then, to secure our services. At that time we would have explained to you that we provide a menu sampling within 30 days of your event.
If there wasn't any response from our proposal back from you the client I would think that you were not happy with our written proposal and decided to go elsewhere. If that wasn't the case please let me know.
Also, I am really concerned that you and your family eats at our restaurant each week and there was not more discussion of your big day. Also, you would know the quality of our food and have experienced our service. I wish you would have said something sooner or a family member on one of your visits.
I am not sure of the part we got to in your case but it seems like we dropped the ball somewhere. Again I am sorry for the miscommunication and I will take all the responsibility on my part. I will try do better in the future.
