THE Perfect Planner
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie. From start to finish, she was an absolute pleasure to work with—so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely amazing. She felt like such a big part of our wedding day, not just as our planner but as someone who truly cared about us and our vision.
During our planning process, life was incredibly busy for us—we were in the middle of moving into our new home while planning the wedding—and she was beyond accommodating with our timing. She always worked around our schedule to meet, talk, and discuss details, which took so much stress off our shoulders.
I’ll be the first to admit that I wasn’t always the most responsive and often felt stuck when it came to deciding on details or articulating what I wanted. Somehow, she took what little direction I gave and curated everything more perfectly than I ever could have imagined. Every detail was thoughtful, beautiful, and completely “us.”
ON TOP OF THAT, In addition to everything she did for us, every single vendor she connected us with—from our photographer and videographer, to our makeup artist, florist, and everyone who played a role in bringing our day to life—was an absolutely perfect choice. Each person was incredibly talented, professional, and a joy to work with, and it was clear how thoughtfully she curated her team. The entire group worked together so seamlessly, and it truly showed on our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.
Honestly, I truly felt like I could have just given her the go-ahead and trusted her completely—and the wedding would have been just as perfect as it already was. That level of trust speaks volumes about her talent, professionalism, and heart. I am endlessly grateful for everything she did and cannot recommend her enough to any couple looking for a planner who will go above and beyond!!

Katie with Rose Gold Events is an absolute ROCKSTAR. She is calm, friendly, very well organized, a fantastic problem solver and a fabulous communicator. My daughter absolutely adored working with her during pre-wedding planning sessions and Katie’s management skill set was incredibly visible on the event day. Everything ran smoothly and her bright smile and calm demeanor set a wonderful tone. The price structure was super flexible and allowed us to create a planning and design package the was tailored for our needs. I am so glad Katie was on our team. Katie is the absolute best!
Katie and her team are incredible beyond words. When I started my wedding planning process, I talked to 4-5 planners. After speaking with Katie, I knew she was the one! The entire year leading up, Katie consistently checked in, asked if I needed help on anything, reviewed contracts, and helped keep my brain together. She has such valuable in-site and wisdom. Weeks leading up to my wedding, we had weekly phone calls and text check ins, sorting out any last minute details/changes. Up until the day of, I was texting Katie with last minute changes that didn’t even make her blink. On the day of the wedding, Katie was on top of literally everything. She helped my day go seamless and flawless. I couldn’t have asked for a better day or better team. I can’t recommend Katie enough. She is so organized, genuine, and knowledgeable. -

My daughter's wedding ran so smoothly and I know Katie had a huge hand in the success of our day! She was always checking in and there was not one hitch in our entire day. I can't praise Katie & her assistant at Rose Gold Events & Styling enough!! Katie really saved the day when she agreed to work with us just a few weeks before our wedding. We were experiencing a "coordinating 911", and we were so grateful that she was available to work with us for last minute organization and provide day of coordination services. Our wedding day really wouldn't have been the dream experience we had without Katie!
Katie has awesome organization tools to help prep the timeline, vendors, guest list, and decor for the big day. She quarterbacks the whole process, which is so refreshing after all the wedding decision fatigue. She was proactive, consistent, and organized with her communication with us. Katie constantly texted and scheduled calls/virtual meetings. The way she provides her expertise and guidance really put us at ease during the hustle leading up to the wedding day. She always leads with a positive attitude and was very personable with us and all our vendors.
Katie came to our venue on our rehearsal day to review our decor and plans for set up on wedding day. She helped set up decor for our rehearsal dinner and also ran our ceremony rehearsal. She greeted us on the morning of the wedding day when she arrived, and really ran the ship! She knew several of our vendors from previous weddings, and everyone had great things to say about her. If there were any mishaps on our wedding day, we really never noticed.
Katie kept the timeline on track and did a great job leading the wedding party through it all. She pays attention to detail, and was constantly checking on us through the reception. Katie sent us videos of how she packed up our decor at the end of the night and assisted with the clean up process.
Overall, she was incredible to work with, and it's still hard to believe we only worked with her for a couple weeks. We were so at ease during our entire wedding day, truly because of her expertise. I highly recommend that you work with Katie and her team for all your wedding coordination needs!

Outstanding Wedding Planning Experience
What can we say -- Katie and her team at Rose Gold Events are absolute ROCKSTARS!! We could not have been more thrilled with our wedding and the planning process. Before Katie, I had spent months going in circles (and of course getting nowhere!) when we decided to hire a wedding planner. Best money spent!! When we had our initial phone call I instantly knew Katie was "the one". Her calmness, experience with vendors, and fun demeanor were only some of the qualities that made her perfect. Throughout the whole process Katie was always up for any changes (sorry again Katie!!) we had and we were able to quickly pivot without disruption. We worked with Rose Gold for Day Of coordination and without a doubt the wedding went so smoothly and all of the details were executed flawlessly. Everything was so organized and timely. Katie is incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s clear Rose Gold is a well seasoned vender in the wedding world, and what I loved most was that all of my vendors had previously worked with Rose Gold and had such amazing rapport. Getting through those last few weeks up until the wedding was only possible because of Rose Gold. I had little to no stress at all because everything was taken care of. The communication between Rose Gold and all of the vendors was seamless, timely, and detailed. We had regularly scheduled communication those last few weeks before the wedding. We got married yesterday and it was the most incredible day, and we owe it all to Katie of Rose Gold Events. We hired her for coordination, partial planning and styling. During the planning stage, she kept us on track and helped us bring our vision to life (more like helped us figure the vision out cause we had a hard time deciding what we wanted) with her styling. She answered all of our million questions with patience, and every time we got off the phone with her we would look at each other and say this is the best money we’ve spent on the wedding. Katie is professional, energetic, extremely knowledgeable, patient and calm. On the day of, she was by my side at almost every moment and had everything organized and under control. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything, except for making sure to eat, which Katie also reminded us to do! There were no hiccups and that's 100% due to Katie. Her assistant Sydnee was awesome and they made a great team. What was really special is that Katie kept checking on me to see what I needed and to make sure that I was doing OK, and I really appreciated that. She also took great care to make sure that my pregnant bridesmaid had everything she needed. She worked her magic to get some floral stains out of my dress. I could go on and on about how amazing, hard-working, detail, oriented, and thoughtful she is. My entire family loved having her and I had people tell me that they were going to hire her when they get married. I cannot recommend Katie and her team more, she is the first thing you should book after getting engaged! -

Our wedding was truly special because of Katie and her team. I can't thank her enough for how she helped me in the final months of planning and the days leading up to and during our wedding. I started a new job in the final months of planning and I was beyond stressed but Katie took that weight off my shoulders and helped me to enjoy every moment. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Katie went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. She is very intelligent, experienced, professional and most of all, incredibly kind and a joy to have present on your wedding day.
Katie’s ability to think on her feet and offer a solution for anything that came up during the planning phase as well as the day of was so impressive to me. Everything went off without a hitch.
We chose to marry in the Catholic Church and Katie also has plenty of experience with catholic weddings. She was very helpful in coordinating with the the church prior to and the day of.

Above and Beyond Service
Kristen was outstanding, she worked with us from the very beginning of the wedding planning process. Once the 6 week mark hit we were in contact every week for a call, but she made herself available via text to make communication much easier. She took all my ideas and inspiration and turned it into a perfect day. When I got nervous about something I would reach out to her and she would take care of it. On the wedding day, I remember looking around thinking to myself, this is incredible! The feeling I got seeing everything come together (The decorations, small details, flowers and the timeline we had in place). Kristen and her team were kind, caring, personable and overall they exceeded our expectations! They worked hand and hand with all of our vendors and had every detail organized. They were there for us every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Coordinator and Company to help plan our wedding and recommend Rose Gold Events to anyone who is beginning the planning process. Best Wedding Planning Decision
As I told Katie she was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made! Originally, I did not think I needed a wedding planner/day of coordinator, as when I reached out to Katie, I had all my vendors booked.
However, after hearing about her services I thought she would be so helpful and relieve any day of stress! Not only did she make sure my day was stress free and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She made me feel so prepared with a personalized timeline leading up to my special day. By having Katie and Kristen, my husband and I were able to enjoy our day. Rose Gold Events is the best and the takes all the stress out of a wedding!

RoseGold Events = Memorable and beautiful Wedding!
Kristen and RoseGold Events and Styling were AMAZING. Kristen had such attention to detail, was so thoughtful and her experience invaluable to us. My daughter lives on the west coast and the wedding here in MD, and with full time jobs we couldn't possibly have managed without them. The month before the wedding, RoseGold pulled the details together, kept us on track, managed the various vendors and coordinated the contracts, timing, and thought of literally Everything. There were a few last minute glitches from a vendor and they ensured that the wedding couple not be concerned with that, and instead worked with me directly to ensure a carefree and perfect evening. Kristen was like part of the family by the end of the night:) Incredible value- honestly I cannot say enough. The wedding was joyous, beautiful and a ton of fun; and we owe so much to RoseGold for a perfect evening! -

This feedback is delayed but I had to put my thoughts together on the service I received from Rose Gold Events and write a worthy review. First off, booking Rose Gold was one of the best decisions I made when I began wedding planning. I purchased the package where they assist you 40 days out and are there on the day of the event. I thought I could plan the wedding myself and that I wouldn’t need so much help, but I was so wrong. After all said and done, I have major regrets that I didn’t purchase the full wedding package because Katie and her team (Sydnee and Emily) rocked it.
I am a COVID bride and had to move my wedding from Oct 2020 to Oct 2021. This was a daunting, stressful, disappointing experience as we had already booked all our vendors and had to reschedule everyone to a new date a year later, which wasn’t an easy task. Katie was available for me to call whenever I needed guidance along the way on making this major shift in an unprecedented time. She offered me so much advice, from which vendors I should choose to things I should consider. There was a particular vendor who I was having difficulty with in communicating, and Katie offered to step in on multiple occasions to help get the answers we needed. I am so appreciative of this and know she went above and beyond the call of duty for me.
When we were 4-5 weeks out from the event, Katie set up calls with me on a weekly basis, connected with all my vendors, and made sure everyone was on the same page. With her help, I was finally able to take time to be excited about the upcoming event and focus less on the details and more on what this whole day was all about!
On the day of the event, Sydnee and Emily were there and OH. MY. GAWD were they wonderful. Not only did they help set up all of our MANY decorations at the venue, they had time to hand deliver my flowers to the hotel. During the event, they whispered in my ear if I needed to be somewhere or reminded me that I could change into my reception dress. I absolutely did not spend a moment thinking about what time it was or where I need to be, because they did that for me. Because of this, I was truly able to be in the moment, every moment, and enjoy time with my loved ones who I haven’t seen for years.
I think some of our guests rediscovered their alcohol tolerances that night after this long pandemic, but Sydnee assisted them and made sure the bartenders were aware to minimize issues. At the end of the night, they helped pack up all the decorations and leftover alcohol into my father’s car and even drove a stranded guest to the hotel! I had several guests during the event tell me how awesome Sydnee and Emily were and they were so impressed.
Katie, Emily, and Sydnee know what they are doing and have amazing fun, caring personalities. It truly feels like you’re working with friends and they want to do everything possible to make sure your event is amazing. If you’ve gotten this far in my review—book them! You won’t regret it. -

The first time I encountered Katie and her amazing team was at a family wedding. I was newly engaged and wasn't even planning on hiring an event planner. I thought, "I work in the entertainment industry. I know how to run events, I've hosted hundreds of them. I can do this on my own". Boy was I wrong! After all the attention to detail that I saw at that family wedding and how easily the whole event went I knew I had to hire them! And let me just say hiring Rose Gold Events was the BEST decision I made next to saying yes to my husband. I knew that planning and re-planning a wedding through a pandemic, my demanding career in radio, and a new baby would be challenging. But it seemed at one point during the planning process during Covid that everything that could go wrong, was going wrong. But Katie was such a super hero that she never batted an eye and always came up with the perfect solution. She has this calming energy about her that always reassured me that everything would be just perfect. And it truly was. My wedding was magic and mainly because Katie and her team were on top pf every single detail that brought our vison to life. We are forever grateful to Rose Gold events and especially Katie for these priceless memories.

I had initially hired Katie to help us plan starting at 6 weeks out. Well, that 6 weeks quickly turned into an additional 6 months, thanks to COVID. Our original date was April 19, but our reception was moved to November 8, with a few other changes and adjustments along the way. Katie was there for every step! She was crucial in helping me to rearrange vendors and ideas and in the transition from a spring to a fall celebration all while staying safe and socially distancing. Last-minute decoration idea that requires assembly? No problem. Buying pumpkins from a bride the weekend before to help reuse/recycle? Sure, let me go pick those up for you and fill my car up with pumpkins for days. Oh, one guest can't make up their mind about coming or not? No problem, let's change these escort cards DAY OF. My only regret is not hiring Katie sooner! My husband was not so keen on me hiring a planner, but in the end, he can NOT stop raving about Katie and her team and everything they did for us. She is friendly, bubbly, professional, organized, and just makes you feel like the most relaxed bride on a day that is MEANT to be relaxing and fun! Thank you, Katie!!!

Katie helped our day run so smoothly in November 2020. We attended a wedding last night that was very disorganized. The mother of the bride did a great job planning the big things, and the venue’s day of coordinator helped shuffle the bridal party from place to place, but so many small details were left out since there was no wedding planner. Katie was there for me to attend to my every need. I knew where my flowers were going at the end of the night, whose car was going to have the extra alcohol and our own decorations, and all my vendors were fed even though the caterer was short on meals - she figured it all out! We knew which girl was getting her hair and makeup done at exactly which time and we ended up ahead of schedule because of this. There was not an excess amount of downtime for the guys, and people knew exactly who was running the show - and everyone respected Katie! After our disorganized wedding last night, my husband, the skeptic, has a new found appreciation for everything Katie did for us. She and her whole team are worth absolutely every penny!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!! -

Katie was the calm in the storm!
Honestly, I cannot say enough about Katie. She helped us plan the best Hallowedding. Covid hit during our planning process and Katie never backed down. She helped us plan and re-plan and pivot so many times! Throughout the process, she never said that it wasn't possible; she helped us figure out what was reasonable to do on our end and to expect from our guests. Katie sorted through my late night emails of new ideas and helped me figure out which ones were awesome. We also utilized her for the table-scaping/design features she offers and I was very comfortable giving her little to no direction: she knew what witchy designs my partner and I envisioned and made everything look cohesive. Ultimately, our wedding was so gorgeous and cool and felt so much like Joe and me. We just got the pictures back and I'm reminded of honestly perfect everything was. I don't know how we would've done this without her. -

From the beginning, I knew I wanted to make quick and easy decisions for a fast-tracked wedding. THANK YOU so much to Katie, I was able to do just that. She came immediately prepared with amazing vendor recommendations (tailored to what I wanted the style to be, which of course she helped talk me through that as well) and great advice on what is needed to have our perfect day. She worked hand-in-hand with me and the vendors the whole way through, leaving no detail behind. Any time we spoke, she asked how I was feeling and if there was anything else she could do to help.
Come wedding day, Katie and her assistant Sydnee ran the show. I could not have been more impressed with how seamless everything went. The coordination between the vendors, making sure we stuck to the schedule, confirming everything was where it needed to be, and simply checking in with me throughout the night truly made the evening perfect and stress-free. Even when I realized I forgot to put on my garter right before the garter toss, they were on it and no one else noticed!

We hired Katie for day of coordination, styling, and planned to take advantage of her consulting hours along the way. From the start, she was the perfect sounding board to help us hone in our vision for our wedding and gave us ideas of her own that fit our personalities/style. If you are like us who didn’t know exactly what we wanted, she is the best person to help you find a vision that is both beautiful and suits your personal style!
Another thing we really liked is her optional consulting hours. We wanted to talk about some wedding details earlier than you normally would with a Day of Coordinator. This was a great way to put our minds at ease and get to know Katie even more along our wedding planning journey. About 8 weeks before our original wedding date, it became clear we would have to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Katie was our lifeline during this helping us reach out to vendors and coordinate changing an entire wedding pretty quickly to secure our new date. This was new territory for everyone in the industry (and of course us too) and Katie did a seamless job navigating everything. Fast forward, we did end up still getting married during the pandemic (July 2020) and Katie helped us navigate all of the accommodations that needed to be made to ensure the safety of our guests and vendors. Again, above and beyond anything we all could’ve expected and she did an amazing job!
Once she came in full time six weeks before our wedding she was super organized and helped us with all of the last minute details, making sure all of the vendors had our latest timeline, guest count, etc. Things were changing up until a few days before the wedding but we knew without a doubt Katie was on top of everything. Also, since we haven’t mentioned this yet, she is truly the nicest person. Katie is super easy to work with, adaptable, and has a way of understanding exactly what you need, even when you don’t!
On the day of the wedding, from our eyes, everything was perfect. If anything went wrong we will never know because Katie and her team were phenomenal. The decor was set up perfectly as we envisioned. There were some areas where we gave Katie almost no direction and she set up beautiful flower/table arrangements that we couldn’t have even imagined!
All of friends and family came up to us for the weekend after talking about how incredible Katie and her team were. It says a lot when even your guests can tell how awesome your planner is! Katie and her team of course took care of the logistics of the day but they also took care of us and our family! My mom was delighted when Katie stopped by and asked her if she needed another drink :) As the bride, I never went to the bar once! We truly felt like our bridal party, family, and us as bride & groom could actually enjoy our wedding day festivities. During dinner, my husband and I just sat there in awe of Katie and her team, wondering how we ever could’ve done it without her!
If it’s not clear by now, you need to hire Katie for your wedding day. It will be so helpful to have her along for the planning process and it will make your wedding day a truly enjoyable experience where you can focus on your guests and yourselves. Your wedding is in trusted hands with Katie and her team! SHE IS THE BEST! -

It is difficult to start this review because I truly can't say enough amazing things about Katie. From ideation to execution to day of, Katie is responsible for making my wedding dreams a reality. I have planned large scale events before and so from the beginning I had big ideas and big dreams. Katie helped me to hone in on my vision, keep things on budget, and make decisions which is the hardest part of the wedding process.
She helped me make pinterest boards, vision boards, helped me locate vendors and price out different items. She connected me with my amazing photographer who coordinated every shot and moment. She helped make the whole process manageable, breaking down the wedding timeline and what she needed from me into manageable chunks, and she made everything more fun. She would celebrate milestones along the way like engagement photos, dress fittings, tasting menu's, you name it. She was ALWAYS super responsive to me blowing her up on all platforms, sending her late night panic texts or things I like on instagram and she helped me navigate wedding etiquette to truly make my day exactly what I wanted.
Before the big day, I was so nervous and Katie was an absolute angel, dealt with vendors and last minute items and helped to set-up our whole vision so I could just enjoy the day, drink champagne, and calm my nerves. Rachel, her right-hand woman, is also a dream! They even had sneakers waiting for me in the church so I could kick off my uncomfortable "only for photographs" shoes and had stain removers waiting for after I took outdoor downtown DC pics in the middle of January :)

It's hard to articulate how truly wonderful Katie and her team are -- she made our wedding absolutely perfect and easy. I worked with Katie for full-service planning, starting just about a year from our wedding. She kept us on schedule throughout the entire year, in a step-by-step way that kept us from feeling overwhelmed. Even more, Katie's easy demeanor and kindness make her a joy to work with and promote a stress-free experience.
She's incredibly responsive to what you need out of a planner -- Katie was empowered to make executive decisions about things I didn't care about and she worked to perfect the things I did care about.
She really shines on the event days, though. She kept everything under control and moving, all while keeping such a positive attitude and paying close attention to the happiness levels of everyone around her. She understands what's important and what's not (based on her experience but also from a year of working with me). Multiple people in our wedding party said that they're going to hire Katie when they get married based on just watching her during our wedding (and one of my friends already did hire her!).
Perhaps most importantly, our parents and families felt so taken care of by Katie. That meant they could actually relax and enjoy the day (as could we). Kristen from her team, who we met on our wedding day, was also so nice and helpful.

Kaite and Rose Gold Events is the BEST investment you can make for your wedding day. Working with her was terrific. She was available to help in ways I hadn’t even considered -- from keeping things on schedule, to directing vendors, to fixing my dress between the ceremony and reception (surprise hem malfunction!), to giving direction to the DJ. She was invaluable!
We opted to utilize her day-of coordination services, meaning she came fully on board about 6 weeks before the wedding date. However, she was still available to answer questions and give feedback throughout the entire planning process! She was especially great to lean on during vendor selections. In the DC area, there are SO MANY VENDORS to choose from. Her help in narrowing the field to find the perfect a photographer and caterer was especially appreciated! (Especially if they were vendors she’d worked with and could speak to the quality of their services.)
Building the right team to support you on the big day is so important to ensuring everything goes just right -- it will only help to lean on the opinions of your wedding professionals!
I will encourage anyone working with Katie (or any coordinator) to SHARE as much as possible! Katie and her team will help to setup and execute the day you’ve always imagined, but it is extra helpful for them to fully understand your vision and how you want things to come together. Katie went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was a hit! She listened to every request and question I had. She was the intermediary between myself and the hotel.

It was so well executed— parents, aunts, family and friends all said so :) I’m in love with all of it—flowers, Dragon cake, music, dancing, food ...and of course, the groom, haha 😁
The wedding was super special for close family coming from Japan! Seeing them smile and feeling happy all weekend long made me feel so good!

Our wedding would not have been possible without Katie and her amazing team! Katie was incredibly detail-oriented, responsive, and helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She also coordinated and ran the rehearsal, taking the time to work out the kinks of the ceremony and answer any questions the wedding party had. I was recently married 9/1 and worked with Rose Gold Events, specifically Kristen and Katie and can’t say enough nice things about my experience. Kristen was my lead contact and mainly was for day of coordination but was always available for questions, opinions and my onsite meetings. Katie and her team executed our wedding flawlessly. She organized all the vendors seamlessly (at least to me!) and I didn’t have to deal with one thing on the wedding day. Leading up to the day, you helped me get every detail together, worked tirelessly to switch things around (sorry!), and kept my spirits high! Planning a wedding is no joke - and Katie made what seemed like an exhausting task so much more managable. For all you brides who are on the fence about wedding coordination and planning - please think again! If we could do it again, the only thing we would do differently is hire Rose Gold Events from the beginning! Katie is truly so kind, fiercely organized, deeply devoted to the happiness of her brides - as well as the groom and family. Since the second I met her, I felt as ease. Whenever there were different opinions about a wedding idea between me, my mom, or my groom, Katie navigated our opinions with grace. I didn't even know what exactly I wanted my wedding to look like, just that I wanted fall/Halloween and fun/happy, Katie helped me land on a vision that became a reality beyond my wildest dreams. When we were nervous about something going wrong, Katie eased our worries with compassion. When I had questions the weeks before the wedding, Katie had a quick answer and was exceptionally responsive by phone and email. When I had a minor dress mishap on the day of my wedding, Katie stayed calm with a big smile and a bag of supplies - and fixed the issue within minutes. Without Katie, the dress issue would have ruined hours of my wedding. With Katie by my side, it was fixed in 10 minutes, and then she calmed me down and ensured the next five hours were the best of my entire life. Even during the wedding she made sure I was happy with the order of events, and had special touches for us throughout the night (since I don't drink alcohol she had a a bottle of sparkling cider in an ice bucket and energy drinks in bride and groom Koozies on our table). She was ALWAYS considerate of not just me, but my parents, my groom, and my bridesmaids. She and her assistant made everyone feel at ease, happy, and made me feel like the most special, beautiful person. Katie TRULY made my wedding exceed any possible expectation, made me feel like a princess not just for a day but for the entire 6 weeks she worked with us. HIRE HER. SERIOUSLY. Katie flipped that feeling 180 degrees and not only made everything from recommendations to vendor selection to payments to timeline buildout to running the actual event easy but also with ZERO sweat and worry from my side.
