MVP from beginning to the end!
Raquel is a truly amazing wedding planner, and was extremely easy to work with from the initial planning, throughout the wedding planning process, and the day of.
We hired Raquel because we could tell how passionate she is about wedding planning, and making the wedding of our dreams become a reality. Her high level of organization, and keeping us on track was definitely an incredible experience. Raquel would provide detailed checklists at the beginning of each month leading up to our wedding to make sure that we always stayed on track, and it helped narrow down what we needed to do. This was extremely helpful to drastically lower our stress, and decision fatigue.
When it came to meeting the vision I had for my wedding, I handed her a full Pinterest board of things I wanted from signage, florals, and table scapes and she came up with a full design vision board of what she envisioned from what we gave. Since we started almost 2 years in advance of our wedding, she was also really flexible with design when the things that I wanted to add or remove changes.
In terms of logistics, Raquel was extremely helpful and was the absolute best at ironing out all the logistical details with transportation and timing so that everything was running so smooth and efficient. This is also very true for vendors, she has a lot of connections and vendors that she can recommend in the area that she’s worked with. Raquel handles and holds all your vendor agreements all in one place, and makes sure that she is aware of everything, and will advocate for you if something goes wrong. Raquel responded quickly to emails and texts every time, making you feel like you’re her top priority. Her high level of care and professionalism was a highlight, and made it so easy to work with her.
We initially gave her our ideal budget and she did a great job at making sure we stayed within our budget as well as told us what was worth splurging more on and what we could do without. She has a calm and empathetic demeanor and she is a great listener. She always helped to ease any anxiety I was having throughout the process and was always able to answer any questions that I had about anything.
We cannot thank Raquel enough for making our dream wedding, a reality. We will miss working with her, because she made everything so easy, and was a true MVP from beginning to end. -

Hire Roque!!
Raquel and the Roque team were absolutely wonderful from planning to execution! I strongly recommend hiring them.
Picking a venue
Overwhelmed by hours of online research on venues, Raquel immediately stepped in and helped us quickly narrow in on a location, a budget range, and ideal inclusions with a venue. She laid out weather, cost, and inclusion tradeoffs that we would never had thought of during the venue selection process (e.g. Napa might be better than Carmel or Monterey due to weather, some venues don't offer hard alcohol, etc). We looked at a few and ultimately landed on one that ended up being a perfect fit.
Designing our wedding
I am not a natural designer, so having Raquel both outline and drive a process to help us identify what we liked was incredibly helpful. Once we shared preferences, she quickly turned around and created more of a vision board that we leveraged with many vendors as we narrowed in on specifics. I absolutely loved our colors, florals, signage, and general pallette. Everything came together beautifully with Raquel's ability to create cohesion across vendors and through the designs she helped us choose.
Month to month task management
I really liked Raquel's tried and trusted monthly checklists. It helped break down the endless tasks that needed to get done so we knew what we needed to focus on at the monthly view without getting overwhelmed by what was to come.
Wedding day
Our wedding day was incredibly well orchestrated across many vendors. I really felt like as soon as I got to the venue, I had no concerns. I trusted Raquel and the team to ensure all of the final touches were perfect and followed any specific instructions we had provided. Everything looked beautiful and even when we had to make a few game time decisions on the schedule, Raquel and all team members were incredibly quick to pull them through and the guests had no idea anything had shifted. -

Nothing left to worry about!
It's hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the Roque team's help in creating our dream wedding day. The entire team executed the most beautiful and seamless day we could have ever imagined. Not once did we have to worry about a thing, and even our guests commented on how smoothly everything went. It would not have been possible without them!
From the start, we felt that Raquel and Mercedes truly understood our vision. Mercedes guided us to design the most beautiful combination of outdoor elegance. They made the entire year of planning not only manageable but also fun. We honestly feel like we assembled the vendor dream team! The work and coordination behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, especially on the day of, and we are so grateful for every detail.
Our wedding was a first for the Roque team at this particular venue site—yet it was executed flawlessly. Accommodating the alternate site was no small feat, but it felt absolutely perfect, and we will always cherish that.
We are grateful to the Roque team for their patience with our endless emails, our anxious moments, and even the last-minute dress steam (and rescue from makeup stains!) The entire team handled everything with such grace—including our parents and families—and made the day of our dreams come to life.
We cannot recommend Raquel and the Roque team enough. They completed this chapter of our love story so perfectly—we’ll always look back on our wedding day with the most incredible memories.

Best planning team ever!
Raquel and her entire team at ROQUE events were the best wedding planners anyone can ask for. My wife and I worked with them to plan our wedding and they nailed it! They handled everything from vendor selection, design, and coordination. All that was left for us to do was write our vows and practice our first dance - they literally did everything else. On the big day, it was amazing to see how all of the concepts/designs/mockups Raquel provided through the process came to life and how well they coordinated the timeline of the wedding. Everything flowed smoothly and so many guests came up to me afterwards to say it was the most well executed wedding they had been to. Thank you for making our big day so memorable and relaxing - it would never have happened without you! -

Swiss Army Knife Planner
Hiring ROQUE Events was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Raquel and her team helped procure over a dozen vendors for a 3-day event, completed onsite venue visits, served as creative directors, completed day-of production and coordination, content creation, and so much more. As issues arose, Raquel made every best effort to rectify them, even if they were outside the scope of a traditional planning arrangement. -

The BEST in the Business!
I can't say enough amazing things about my amazing wedding planner, Raquel! My husband and I hired Raquel in the spring of 2023 to help us plan our June 2024 wedding. We spoke with many planners before making our final decision, but Raquel stood out to us right away because of her professionality, her obvious organization skills, and her experience in wedding planning. From the moment we started working together, Raquel earned our trust and never broke it. I genuinely enjoyed our meetings and looked forward to each of them. Raquel was patient and understanding as I changed my mind again, again, and again. She has a very special ability to make her brides feel like they are her only clients. She was always available when I needed her, she never passed me off to an associate, and she helped achieve our absolute dream wedding. It's clear that the vendors she works with respect her immensely, which always brought us great comfort, too. We always assumed something would go wrong at our wedding because so many of our friends prepared us for that, but I can honestly say everything went off without a hitch! We are so thankful for Raquel and Roque Events, and we recommend her very highly!-

Best Decision!
I said this in our wedding toast and would shout it to the world - Roque Events was the smartest decision I made in the wedding process, and the best money that I spent.
Raquel was consistently communicative via email and text (whichever I preferred), always on top of vendors, and handled all issues without my involvement unless I requested otherwise. After the first couple months I realized that I could let her run the show and trust that the wedding would be beautiful, and I was right; it was everything that I had dreamed of and went off without a hitch. Her and her team dealt expertly with a very difficult venue team in a remote location behind the scenes while I was none the wiser. She only told me about roadblocks after she had already solved the issue, if ever - so I was never left feeling stressed or overwhelmed. She was also not afraid to tell me when an idea of mine might make another aspect of the wedding more complicated, but always allowed me to make the final decision and was more than willing to execute whatever idea I had (even if it made her job difficult).
Raquel also took the time to truly understand my vision and recommend the vendors that would execute it perfectly. I found almost all vendors through her, and could not have been happier with any of them. From the big picture to the smallest details, she ensured that every vendor was taken care of and knew what they were doing.
Lastly, Raquel and her team are just kind hearted, lovely people to work with. I never felt like I was bothering her when I sent a text or email, and it truly felt like I was working with a friend throughout the entire process. She is a creative, out-of-the-box thinker and a joy to be around.
Whether you're Type B like me and want to throw the entire wedding at your planner, or you're Type A and want another set of eyes to make sure you've thought of everything. Roque Events is the place to go.-

Perfectly executed wedding weekend thanks to ROQUE
From the moment I met Raquel, I knew we needed her as our wedding planner - and it's the best decision we made throughout the wedding process. We worked with Raquel for ~14 months leading up to our wedding in Napa, and she was truly a pleasure to work with. She is professional, kind, fun, and can take any idea (usually unformed from me!) and execute it perfectly. She is extremely organized, responsive, and smart. I loved her monthly checklists for us to help us stay on track and on top of all the little details leading up to our big day. All of Raquel's qualities put together provided a stress-free planning process for us. Raquel planned our welcome party and it turned out 10x more beautiful than I could have imagined. She has such an eye for design and knows exactly how to work with each vendor (from venues to florals to more) to pull the night together perfectly. When it came time for the wedding, again I was amazed at how absolutely beautiful everything was - from the outdoor space to the indoor dancing, which Raquel helped transform into a stunning and fun lounge/club vibe. Leading up to and during our wedding day, we were due for rain. I was very concerned about how things would work since we were outside through dinner. Raquel kept me calm and reassured me that she would help execute my vision no matter what, and she delivered. She created contingency plans and helped us keep our guests dry, warm, and happy with the unexpected weather. She worked tirelessly with the venue to make sure we were all taken care of throughout the night. Raquel works so hard to make sure you have the wedding weekend of your dreams. I don't know what we would've done without her. She is simply the best and we can't recommend her enough! -

Hire ROQUE now!
Hiring Raquel and ROQUE was the best decision we made during our wedding process. From our very first intro call, we were so impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail, ability to set realistic expectations, and relaxed/fun vibe. As a nursing student, I simply didn't have a time to plan or design a wedding and I can genuinely say that I never once felt stressed during the planning process thanks to Raquel's ability to collaborate and take control when necessary. I am not the type of gal who had been building a Pinterest board of wedding decor ideas my entire adult life, so I was quite overwhelmed with the task of designing my wedding. Raquel was able to take my barely formed and unspecific visions and turn them into the most perfect end result. The week of our Palm Springs wedding predicated rain in our forecast and as you can imagine, we were less than thrilled. Fortunately, we knew we were in great hands and that Raquel and her team would ensure that everything looked perfect. She navigated day of curve balls with style and grace all while keeping me none the wiser and stress free. Fabulous Wedding Planner!
Words cannot express how absolutely outstanding, phenomenal, organized and fabulous Raquel is. When my beautiful wife (then fiancé) and I got engaged we did not know where to start in the planning process. If it weren’t for Raquel, we would likely still be at Stage 1, unsure of where to start.
Raquel is one of the most organized, dedicated, incredible and engaging people that I know. Her warm personality and impeccable organizational skills allow her to be an outstanding wedding planner.
From the start, Raquel took a great interest in hearing our love story, learning about what our shared vision for the wedding looked like and walked us amazingly through each step of the process. At the beginning, my fiancé (at the time) and I weren’t yet clear on many of the details or exact vision for our wedding day yet through Raquel’s guidance and support we were about to create a vision for the day that felt aligned and just right.
Along the way, Raquel kept us on track and organized. She had amazing and well-organized tasks for us to do each month that felt manageable and moved us towards the vision that we had for our special day. It is because of Raquel that our wedding day was a total dream, filled with love and each detail on point.

Raquel is simply the best!!
Raquel is honestly the best wedding planner out there. My wife and I were only going to have a wedding if we hired the right planner and we hit the jackpot with Raquel. She’s so nice, helpful, personable, and very responsive. At the beginning of the process we really loved how she was friendly, helpful, and had so many great ideas that matched with what we were going for. What we also liked was how organized and well planned she is. Right away she knew a lot of great venues and venues that she recommended that matched our theme. We also loved how she sent us checklists and timelines to make sure we’re on pace and not stressing over any last minute things before our wedding. She also would schedule brief meetings just to check in, and send emails and texts to make sure everything was okay, or if we had any questions. One thing I really appreciated a lot is her mentioning this our day, and would go to bat for us to make sure it went how we wanted it to go. For example, the venue we chose promised a room block for both Friday and Saturday at first when we toured, they then decided to switch it so we would only have it for Saturday during the wedding. We didn’t want that as the whole point of the venue is to have the rooms blocked off for the day before for us to wake up day of and get ready for the wedding. Right away when Raquel saw that email, she let us know that she would handle it. 20 minutes later they got back to us and agreed to let us have the room for both nights which was amazing. Another amazing thing to hear was the vendors and venues talking about her. They all had such great things to say which was even more reassuring we picked the best planner out there.
Also, my wife at first was iffy on a wedding at first just because of the stress involved and the attention that’ll be put on her. Raquel worked with us and my wife says that our wedding went perfectly and was so glad that we had one. I would honestly recommend Raquel to anyone that’s looking for a planner to help with their wedding. IF you do hire her, be prepared to have the best wedding ever!! -

Indispensable!
Raquel is simply the best. Hiring her will be the smartest decision you make when it comes to your wedding. From our very first call, I knew she was going to be indispensable - she immediately struck me as someone who is highly competent, personable and passionate. During the 12 months we spent planning my wedding together, I quickly learned that Raquel is also extremely organized (her spreadsheets & checklists are what dreams are made of!), she has an incredible attitude and she cares SO much about what she does and everyone she works with. She has fantastic ideas but is never pushy, she is patient but she knows how to get things done efficiently, she's a great listener and takes the time to understand whats important to you and then prioritizes accordingly. She is a true partner - it's no surprise she has a list a mile long of amazing vendors that are dying to work with her time and time again! I genuinely felt like Raquel was as invested in my wedding as I was, and that was especially true on the wedding day. She was ON IT and it did not go unnoticed! All of my bridesmaids were making comments while we were getting ready before the ceremony - "she's incredibly impressive," "wow it must be so nice having someone like that in your corner," "she really gets you." It was such an honor and a privilege to have someone else dedicate so much of their time & energy into the most special day of my life. She goes above and beyond, without hesitation, and with a smile on her face. I could not have been more proud of the wedding that we planned and the team of vendors that we had in place. I also couldn't believe how much fun my husband & I had - Raquel had told me early on in the planning process that she would ensure I felt like a guest at my wedding, but as someone who can be insanely detail oriented and a bit of a control freak I had a hard time believing my wedding day would be totally stress free for me... She made it happen! She took care of EVERYTHING. She kept me in the loop with positive updates, handled any crisis that came up discretely, managed to keep everyone on schedule throughout the day and I had an absolute blast as a result. The feedback we've received from our friends and family has blown me away - best wedding ever. Raquel, thank you from the bottom of my heart! -

You need Raquel, we all need Raquel
TL;DR : Raquel was critical to making our event beautiful, calm, organized, and on budget. We knew we needed Raquel at the beginning of the process, but there were about 100 other things she did for us that we didn’t know existed. I can’t imagine our wedding without Raquel.

My fiancé (foreshadowing; now husband) and I decided to hire a wedding planner when we became overwhelmed with the budgeting process (how much is this supposed to cost? Why does every vendor get back to you with a different list of things they include?) of wedding planning. We were concerned that when we spoke to friends about their weddings almost every single couple seemed to have a budget… but when it came down to the last few months their budgets went out the window. Almost nobody stuck to it, and they didn’t even know how much money they went over.
I now realize that the extent of our experience with party planning was confined to having six people over for dinner, so we were very unprepared to have a wedding with all of our friends and family!
After meeting with five planners, we quickly picked Raquel. We knew she was organized and experienced enough to help us. We quickly got into our venue search and design meetings. Within weeks we had a detailed budget and schedule to hit all the things we needed to make the day a success. She then spent hours with us refining the vision, working through pictures, and showing us possibilities we didn’t even know existed. We loved the aesthetic that we came up with, it was unique and entirely us – it looked like a dream! As the months went on, she met with us and kept us on task for every aspect of the event.
In those moments where we had no idea what we wanted Raquel guided us through with patience, an even keel, and a smile. I can’t tell you how many times Raquel asked our opinions about a detail - such as an option for the table, or ten minutes in the timeline to allow us to be alone. Those details made the day beautiful but they also ensured that we had the chance to enjoy it.
The day of the wedding was better than I could have imagined. After months of dreaming with Raquel and talking about colors, music, and vision – she fully executed everything! She had kept us on task before this but it was nothing to the organizational feat the day of the wedding! Every part of the design came together AND she managed to facilitate about a dozen vendors, another dozen family members, and another dozen friends coming through with all the pieces to make the day perfect.
Raquel crushed every aspect – she created (and executed to!) a budget at the beginning of our process, took myself and my fiancé through the creative process, and finally kept everyone calm and on task the day of. All my husband and I had to do was enjoy the day! We could not have achieved any of this without Raquel. -

Incredible!
RAQUEL - not sure where to begin! I found Raquel through my wedding venue as one of their preferred vendors. I had an inkling she would be a great pick when we first spoke, because she had worked at my venue before and seemed to really know the ins-and-outs of the space. Raquel has the demeanor everyone looks for in a wedding planner - she allows for your ideas and creativity to shine through as a bride, but isn't afraid to step in when she knows an idea could be better executed. I think at one point she mentioned she had 15 weddings this summer, yet always made time for me/never came across as too busy. One call in particular I remember we were working on the layout of our reception - I had mocked up space for a lounge set in the corner of the room. Raquel chimed in "well we really can't put anything there because we would be blocking the fire exit - there's a door here leading outside that isn't shown on the online layout." THOSE are the details that most people would overlook - not Raquel. Day of the wedding - Raquel was INCREDIBLE. There was never a point where we felt she didn't have things under control. She was calm, professional, and truly everyone has commented on how perfectly the night progressed. Nothing took too long, nothing was too rushed - there was a perfect cadence to the evening and Raquel kept us on our timeline almost to the minute, without making anyone aware how meticulously planned everything was - it just seemed to FLOW. I would recommend Raquel to anyone - truly best decision we made and I can't wait to see how far she goes in this industry. She deserves every bit of recognition. We are still riding the high from the best night/weekend. Raquel truly makes wedding dreams come true! -

What a beautiful day!
We hired Raquel to plan our destination wedding and we are so glad we did! As an out-of-state bride, I felt at ease knowing I had Raquel in my corner. She is extremely organized, reliable, and responsive and she connected us with high-quality vendors who made our wedding day a dream. Raquel totally understood my vision for our wedding day and therefore it was such an easy process working through design choices. She has an eye for events which speaks for itself! I myself am not a type A person, and therefore was grateful throughout the 1 1/2 year planning process to have had Raquel there keeping everything on track and always running smoothly with organized monthly checklists, a detailed vendor list etc. If I ever had an issue with a vendor or wanted to make any changes, Raquel heard me out then communicated with the vendor immediately. We had the pleasure of working with Raquel for a wedding at our venue and were thoroughly impressed with her creativity, professionalism, and ability to problem-solve in a pinch! The best ever
Raquel is FANTASTIC. I cannot believe how lucky my husband and I were to find her. I have dealt with some really awful vendors (primarily due to them looking at this purely from the perspective of their bottom line) but I never felt that way with her. I couldn't fully explain what I wanted because I don't do industry-speak, but she could decipher my rambled thoughts and produce exactly what I was looking for, if not better.
We hired Raquel for our destination wedding, full-service planning. SO worth it. She knows what she's doing. SERIOUSLY don't even try to do it on your own. This is what she does. She is not only a professional but she is THE professional.
But more than being excellent at her craft, I felt that I could trust her with everything. It was a long year and half of planning this wedding with outside family trying to have a say with what THEY wanted. She would constantly bring me back by saying, "but what you do YOU want". She became a trusted friend throughout the process. She always had our back. She even handled my neurotic, indecisive husband when it came to fashion choices with so much patience and grace. I would have not lol. She fully advocated for us with each and every vendor, and if a vendor failed to meet our expectations, she was the first to let that vendor know that they sucked and was quick to deal with any last minute decisions (e.g., less than 3 months before the wedding I said "f--- it, this stationary vendor is fired, please find me a new one." Raquel got us ALL of our money back, even after the crappy vendor tried to retain some of their money, and found someone that could do what I wanted instantly). She will not settle for less when it comes to making sure that you have a great wedding planning experience.
Raquel is so good that I didn't even need to recommend her. My guests were blown away at my wedding weekend in Tahoe that they started asking for her information. She's so great! Can't believe I used to plan my own parties. She will forever and always be our go-to planner for all of our event needs! -

Raquel is THE BEST!!
Raquel is truly the best wedding planner out there and I highly recommend working with her!! She made the wedding planning process so easy and fun and ensured our day was exactly how we envisioned it.
We hired Raquel for our Summer 2023 wedding and I am so glad we did! From our very first email conversations she was so responsive, friendly and knowledgeable - I knew then we had to hire her!
For the months leading up to our wedding she guided us every step of the way. From vendor recommendations, to detailed checklists she made sure we had thought of everything. We had frequent check-ins throughout the process and she always came prepared and organized. She was quick to answer all my questions and had tons of ideas on how to make our wedding day special. When the week of our wedding the weather threw us a curve ball of 106 degrees, she knew exactly what to do to make sure our guests were comfortable had the best experience without compromising any of our vision.
The day of our wedding she and her team made sure our day was absolutely perfect!! Every vendor, every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and care. They were so organized and efficient and were always available if I needed anything. She made sure the day ran according to schedule and it all turned out absolutely amazing!!
I highly recommend working with Raquel!! She is so experienced, knowledgeable, organized, responsive and creative. She makes the otherwise stressful wedding planning process so easy and so much fun!! -

Most Magical Weekend Of Our Lives
Raquel just recently planned our entire wedding weekend (which included our welcome reception event plus our wedding day) and we cannot thank her for pulling off one of the most magical weekends of our lives. There are many wonderful things about Raquel but let me share of the top 3 highlights of working with her:
1. Fiscal Care: When you are first hiring a planner, it's hard to fathom paying for one, especially when you are looking at all the other bills ahead of you. However, Raquel is worth every dollar. Raquel treats your money as if it was her own money - being a true sherpa by telling us honestly what was worth spending on vs. not spending on. Even while minimizing unnecessary costs, she helped us pull together a really beautiful, elegant, and timeless wedding. At the end of the wedding, we did not feel anything was missing or wasteful.
2. Advocate: She is also an incredible advocate, making sure vendors are treating you well and taking care of you. She went to bat for us several times to ensure we were getting the best service and value. We had a hiccup with our venue 2 weeks out from our wedding date that would've cost us thousands of dollars, and she went to bat for us to ensure we were not charged additional fees and that the venue rectified their misstep. And you want that - with all of the wedding stress and feeling like you have no leverage with vendors, you want a planner who is not just helping you plan a beautiful event, but who is going to be your advocate to have the hard conversations with vendors to ensure you're being treated fairly.
As an aside, besides being a great advocate with vendors, because of her reputation and experience, she has great relationships with premiere vendors. We hired literally all of vendors through Raquel including our DJ, photographer, florist, hair and makeup, signage, and furniture rentals through Raquel, and all of them were the best of the best. It's easy to feel that when you're getting a vendor recommendation from a planner that it's a kickback for them, but that's not what it was for Raquel - she holds a high standard for what makes a wedding great and only recommends people she can trust her clients with. Our friends could not stop raving about the DJ, our photographer made us feel confident, our rentals were beautiful, and our florist literally made us feel that we had a celebrity wedding.
3. Organization: Finally, she is very organized - she is on top of timelines and details to ensure everything is smoothly managed from beginning to end. I am a very type A person and my nod to Raquel is that I felt that I could sit back and feel confident she could run the show better than I could, which she did beautifully.
I am so glad we hired Raquel and now we think of her as a friend as well, which is so special. -

Why You Must Hire Raquel
We hired Raquel in early 2022 to help us plan our May 2023 wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. If you want to feel confident that your wedding day will go smoothly and feel stress-free in the months leading up to your wedding, you must hire Raquel. You will be so happy you did. Here are the reasons you should hire Raquel.
1. She is extremely organized and detail-oriented. She handled all of the little details from Day 1 through the last second of the wedding - budget, venue scouting and appointments, vendor communications, payment schedules, rehearsal, day-of coordination, clean up etc etc. She gave us a very consumable monthly checklist that made wedding planning very approachable and as stress free as possible. We were totally relaxed the month leading into our wedding.
2. She always says yes. Anytime we wanted to do something, she always said yes and then would explain if that would mean giving up something else or making an adjustment somewhere else. But I knew that if we wanted something to happen, she would make it happen and I felt like we understood all the downstream implications of the choice.
3. She is creative and helps distill your vision. We gave Raquel a huge Pinterest board with all the things we liked and she distilled it down into a more curated board that created the aesthetic foundation for our wedding. It was extremely helpful to have a professional with expertise point out that we seem to like this color and this type of flower and this type of vibe. She encouraged all of our design choices and truly brought them all the life!
4. She is so available and responsive and super positive. Raquel was incredibly responsive to us and we always felt like we were her #1 priority. She always answered our emails promptly and was always available for a call when we needed it. She was also super positive and excited for us through the process!
5. Our wedding day was magical. Raquel worked extremely hard to ensure our wedding day was executed beautifully and ran smoothly. She was non-stop all day and all of my family and friends commented that she was incredible at keeping everyone on schedule and responding to all requests and needs. It was honestly such an incredible day and we could not have done it without Raquel.
We cannot express enough how helpful it is to have a seasoned professional like Raquel helping you throughout the wedding planning process. Wedding planning was fun for us and even though it seemed like a huge daunting challenge when we first got engaged, once we hired Raquel, those feelings disappeared.
Do yourself a favor and hire Raquel. -

Perfect wedding weekend
It was such a huge relief knowing everything was being handled. Raquel did a great job communicating with all the vendors so there was no confusion for the weekend. Then the day of the wedding it seemed like she was everywhere, I don't know how she did it. Whenever we needed her she was ready, like inspector gadget with the right tool to fix any emergency. -

Excellent experience!
Raquel was the perfect person to help plan our wedding weekend! She made everything very organized, easy, and fun! As a bride coming from the event industry, I needed a wedding planner who I could trust, have candid conversations with, and understand/execute our priorities. Raquel was the perfect choice! Sometimes it was like we shared a brain!
She made sure our vendors were giving us fair prices and was super helpful for any negotiations during the process. Raquel helped bring my vision to life. I could not have imagined a better designer and planner to bring our destination wedding to fruition. If you are looking for the best in the. business, then ROQUE Events is the ultimate choice. From the moment we met Raquel, our experience was on the highest professional level. She has connections with all the best vendors in the wedding business and will move mountains to make us be happy with our wedding design. Like all weddings there are up's and down's that are experienced. We needed to post pone our event. We highly recommend Raquel as a wedding planner as she helped us have a seamless wedding at Napa. Her help with coordinating with all the vendors cannot be understated. Best decision we made!
We hired ROQUE Events to plan our wedding and we could not have been more pleased! Raquel made the planning process seamless and truly made our vision come to life. As we live in MN, having someone who was familiar with Napa, CA was important to us. Raquel seemed to know just about everyone in the area and her contacts and recommended vendors did not disappointment. Our wedding was originally scheduled during the thick of COVID and we had to postpone for a year. Raquel happily re-planned our wedding again a year later. On top of everything else, she not only helped plan our wedding day but our entire wedding weekend from the welcome dinner, to the brunches, and even setting up winery tours for our guests. Raquel is the best in the business. We were initially apprehensive about planning a wedding in Napa while living in Chicago (in the middle of a pandemic!) but Raquel made everything so easy. She designed the wedding of our dreams, managed all the vendors and kept us on-track with monthly checklists and calls. As busy working professionals, there's no way we could have managed all of this on our own. We were happy and stress-free on the big day knowing that she had our backs. Incredibly Thorough and Talented Planner
Before booking out venue we had spoken to a few planners in the Bay Area, none of which we loved. After we booked Farmstead, we saw Raquel listed on their preferred list of planners. After one call we knew we loved her. We are a pretty casual couple and needed someone to keep us on track. Raquel made everything easy and made sure we didn’t get behind. Our wedding was this past weekend and it was honestly one of the best days of my life. Best part was that Raquel helped my husband pull off a surprise performance by him and 20+ of our guests. Total No-Nonsense Pro
Raquel simply nailed it for our wedding this weekend. I loved how straightforward and professional she was from the moment we met her. No nonsense. She kept us on track the entire process leading up to the big day, and day of, everything that was supposed to happen, happened to a T. Ceremony started at 5pm on the dot, and from that moment on, it was flawless. And you could really tell in the moment how devoted she was to making sure we had the best night of our life. She truly cared deeply that that happened.
The best part? Raquel helped me pull of a huge surprise performance for the bride with 20 of our closest friends. Total discretion. My wife’s mind is still blown.
By the end of the night, I started telling anyone that asked I was going to try to recruit her to join my company. As my boss of course. Fortunately for anyone here, I’m thinking she’s going to stick with weddings. -

So over the moon happy!
Our wedding was an absolute dream and we owe it to Raquel! She kept the planning process stress free for us and accommodated everything we asked for. She connected us with the most picture perfect venue at Beaulieu Garden and the best vendor team with respect to catering, photography, make-up/hair, floral, transportation, an officant, photobooth, and more.
The wedding day beyond exceeded our highest expectations - the day went seamlessly and the three site set-ups were all mindblowingly beautiful.
The only issue we ran into was our paper goods vendor so Raquel arranged for a full refund/contract termination, which we didn’t end up doing but probably should have.
Overall we would highly highly highly recommend Roque events! Just ask Raquel to see our wedding photos and I think you’ll be sold.-

Perfect wedding day
From the first time we spoke to Raquel up through our wedding day I knew we had picked the perfect planner. We aren't local to Napa, and she guided us to find vendors who perfectly fit our vision for our wedding. She made the process so seamless - multiple friends asked me how stressed I was about wedding planning, and I could honestly answer that it hadn't even crossed my mind to be stressed because of Raquel! Her attention to detail and organization helped us stay on track to make the wedding planning process super smooth. She was available for all questions and checked in with us just the right amount. It is impossible for any review to accurately describe what Raquel and her team did for us over the last week. In short, they performed a miracle under the most difficult circumstances imaginable. The Roque team is based in Napa, CA, a community currently suffering the worst wildfires in the history of California. Raquel and Carly both had to move to safety in SF last week, which was also the week our wedding had been scheduled in Napa. On the morning of Tuesday Oct 10, we spoke to Raquel and we were very thankful to hear that she and her family were safe!! She shared with us that she had been evacuated to San Francisco the day before, and then without any hesitation, she started talking about options for our wedding. To still focus on your clients in a situation like this was truly remarkable – we were so very humbled and grateful. My wife’s family and many friends had already travelled to California from Russia and Europe, so we were still hoping to have an event somewhere in the Bay Area. Within hours of our call with Raquel Tuesday morning, she had not one but two different options for a wedding in San Francisco!! Let’s pause here for a second to consider what Raquel did for us. The morning after relocating from the fires, she was not only engaged with her clients but also rescheduled an entire wedding within a matter of hours. Just writing about this makes us choke up with gratitude. We were married at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in SF and our reception was in the Crown Room, which has 360 views of the city. Our wedding day was truly amazing and a day we will always remember. All this happened because of Raquel and her team. Every single one of our guests were amazed at how we were able to have a Fairmont wedding on such short notice. We know several guests who have already referred their friends to Raquel! Words cannot describe how forever grateful we will be for Raquel and her team. Raquel, Carly, we cannot say these words enough–thank you. -

We are over the moon happy that we hired Roque Events to plan our wedding. They delivered in every way. From the vendor list to the timeline we felt every detail was thought of and cared for. Raquel is so easy to talk to and both her and Haley's energy is amazing. It's important to have a good solid positive vibe surrounding you on your wedding day and they deliver. I was blown away by the delicate way they kept us on schedule and made the day flow. Raquel and the outstanding team at ROQUE were indispensable and FUN partners in planning our beautiful San Francisco wedding for 150 guests. We wanted our day to be unique, and to have a boutique, personal experience with our planning team— they delivered. If you read no further, know that ROQUE Events have the planning expertise, design sense, and professional network to put together a memorable event on any scale.
When we began our planning process, we wanted to explore venues in both San Francisco (where we live), and in wine country. Despite being Napa-based, ROQUE had no trouble introducing us to great venues and vendors in both locations, nor with ultimately coordinating an amazing wedding in the city, including several in-person meetings and previews.
Based on our input, ROQUE created an effective vision board for our event and coordinated an army of vendors to bring it to life. Where we didn’t have existing vendor relationships, ROQUE hooked us up with a dream team that fit our style perfectly. Where we brought vendors to the table, ROQUE quickly established a super-positive working relationship. If we wanted something done, they found a way to make it work and make it better. Countless times, their expertise helped us hone in on details we might not have thought of at all.
Thanks to ROQUE, on our wedding day, we were able to go with the flow and enjoy ourselves. Our guests had the BEST time. Everything was beautiful. At the end of the night, the team made sure we received all our personal items. Post-event follow up has been great.
Throughout the process, ROQUE kept us on track with detailed timelines, conversation logs, vendor lists, payment schedules, and monthly checklists for other items we needed to accomplish. Communication was fast, clear, and it was obvious that ROQUE do not take on more clients/events than they can handle with a personal touch.

Raquel, owner of ROQUE Events not only helped us find the perfect locations for our daughter's Napa wedding and reception, but orchestrated and guided us to some of the most creative and talented vendors in the area! Raquel really listened to what the bride wanted and helped create the vision our daughter had for the wedding. We found Raquel to be a extremely detailed and organized person - with bi-weekly phone meetings ( the bride and groom live in NYC and we live in Indiana!) She took care of all the details and managed the vendors and everything was planned to a realistic time line! Raquel has surrounded herself with very capable assistants to help ensure that everything went off perfectly. Never did anyone feel pressured or hurried. As parents we were able relax and enjoy the wedding and our guests without ever feeling the need to followup or check on anything! Raquel and her team took care of everything !

Raquel and Haley are outstanding! I have always admired Raquel's work on social media and she came highly recommended from friends who have been able to work with her in the past. My husband and I live in Napa so we are familiar with many wedding planners in the area and are so happy we chose them to plan our special day. They made the process easy and enjoyable! They have partnerships with the finest Photographers, DJs, Photo Booths , etc. in the bay area and were able to perfectly match us with vendors that best fit our vision for our day. The ROQUE team is very organized, their monthly checklists kept me on track and always left me feeling prepared, but never overwhelmed. Raquel and Haley went above and beyond. We met several times and exchanged countless emails. They made every meeting fun and gave me confidence about every decision, from linens to last minute questions at our rehearsal. When our wedding day finally came I was so happy to see their friendly, smiling faces! Thanks to Raquel and Haley our day went off without a hitch. We had the most perfect, stress free, enjoyable day of our lives. So many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much fun they had and that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My daughter interfaced directly with Raquel for over a year. She was extremely happy with all of her recommendations and suggestions. I do believe that the wedding was one of the best weddings our guests had ever attended. They created a theme that fit with the venue and it truly was a magical experience.-

I would have liked more guidance with budgeting early on in the planning process. I also would have liked more direction and guidance on the wedding day pre-ceremony time; it was a hectic time and could have gone more smoothly if Raquel or Haley met the wedding party when we arrived at the venue. -

Raquel kept things on track, though a few key details slipped through the cracks.
We hired Raquel for our June 2025 wedding in Napa. The weekend was ultimately a success, and much credit is due to her and her team for helping the day run smoothly. I appreciated her ability to keep planning meetings efficient, navigate tricky vendor conversations, and offer some creative solutions when challenges came up.
That said, there were moments where we struggled with her communication style. At times, she came off a bit abrupt, and there were some important details—like how the event was wrapped at the end of the night—that weren’t handled or communicated clearly. Changes in her team, including the removal of members we had expected to work with, also caught us off guard and wasn’t communicated in advance or at all. One planning oversight even led us to cancel a scheduled weekend activity.
Overall, I think Raquel is best suited for traditional weddings within her vendor venues. That said, while there were some bumps along the way, she played a key role in making sure the event happened, and for that, we’re grateful.

Less than ideal
My husband and I hired Raquel/RoqueEvents in 2019 to plan our June 2020 wedding. While the beginning of the relationship went well, things took a turn when the pandemic hit. In Spring 2020, we were informed via phone call that ROQUE was going out of business and would be unable to fulfill their contract. At this point we had already paid them in full at around 12k, and they offered no refund. Raquel (the owner of Roque) was not on the call to inform us of this devastating news, and in fact she never reached out to us once afterwards.
This was made more painful by the fact that mere weeks before, Raquel essentially chastised my husband and I for being a few days late on our final payment to them (in April 2020 peak pandemic). In retrospect it feels like she was just ensuring she got all the money from her clients before she closed shop. We ultimately ended up cancelling our wedding all together.
Now it seems that a year later she has decided to return to wedding planning and restart ROQUE. I understand that pandemic times were tough for a lot of small businesses (they were for everyone), but Raquel’s lack of compassion and professionalism in such an emotionally driven industry seems like a disconnect. My advice, hire someone else to plan your special day, like CarlySaberEvents because she’s fabulous and even tried to offer us an alternative option after all this hit the fan. -

I hired Raquel from Roque Events to plan my Elopement earlier this year. Raquel was very professional until we made our first payment. From there, things went down. We ended our business relationship with Raquel and Roque Events a few months later (before she could take anymore of my hard-earned dollars) and have never looked back. Raquel has $2150 of mine, and she can keep it. Notice her responses to other reviews on here. She is very condescending. That is Raquel and the treatment from Roque Events. Do your research and trust the negative reviews!! I wish I would have known!! -

I am a designer with 12 years experience and applied to work for this company. I was horrified by the way I was treated by the staff the first day on the job. Catty backstabbing behavior is unprofessional. Not to mention they didn't have appropriate supplies to begin or finish the project! Who's in charge there. Certainly not the designer as all he could talk about was how horrible the owners were and that he was quitting. That is very unprofessional to do in front of staff and new staff. I never got paid for the time I worked and the list goes on. As a professional in this industry you must welcome and work with the new staff to help them get on board and not criticize the staff who may do things differently, because of their many years experience and success in doing it. the final product is the same. I wanted to work with adults not babies. -
