Fantastic experience with Jessica
Jessica did a phenomenal job translating our color palate and vibe into stunning florals! We met up to walk the venue and paid for a test arrangement which was gorgeous and helped refine everything. Day of was even more beautiful than the photos even capture! Flowers are generally an expensive item for a wedding, and these were not inexpensive. However, I do think they were a great value--Jessica worked with us within our budget to create absolutely incredible arrangements. She was professional, reliable, and did an outstanding job.

I had the joy of working with Jessica from Root & Bloom for a recent wedding at Hotel Drover, and she was an absolute dream partner from start to finish. Due to a unique set of circumstances, I stepped into the planning process a bit later than usual, inheriting the couple’s vendor team and design direction. As we worked to refine and elevate the overall aesthetic in the final months, Jessica met every update with so much grace, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement for the couple’s vision.
When I approached her to rework the floral proposal a couple months out, she didn’t just adjust it—she embraced the refreshed design wholeheartedly. Her collaboration felt seamless and supportive, never losing sight of what mattered most: creating something truly beautiful for the couple. She remained incredibly communicative throughout the process and willingly met for an on-site prototype meeting, arriving with a compote centerpiece and a mock bridal bouquet that the family deeply appreciated. It set the tone for trust and alignment leading into the wedding weekend.
On event day, Jessica and her team executed everything flawlessly. The setup was seamless, the florals were stunning, and the finished design exceeded every expectation. The bride, groom, and their families were overwhelmed—in the best way—by how spectacular the florals looked. It was one of those rare executions where the vision didn’t just come to life; it became something even more breathtaking.

Jessica with Root + Bloom is hands down the most talented florist and was by far the best vendor of our wedding. When people look at our wedding photos, the first thing they comment on is the flowers. She truly brought our vision to life.
I shared with her that my late mom’s favorite color was purple, and she thoughtfully included extra purple blooms in the arrangements near the altar so I could feel her presence. From the moment we met Root and Bloom, we knew we were in the best hands. She took the time to understand our vision, our color palette, and the overall vibe we wanted for our wedding. What she delivered completely exceeded our expectations.
Every arrangement—from the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces to the ceremony arch—was absolutely stunning. The flowers were fresh, artfully arranged, and perfectly complemented our venue and decor. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the florals, and we were in awe of how beautiful everything looked in photos and in person.

Spectacular Wedding Flowers
I must say, as our primary décor for the wedding, the flowers were SPECTACULAR! Also, your ladies nailed the hanging flowers for the ceremony wall, and I appreciated being allowed to provide input on covering the wood and chain link anchor for the flower wall.
Thank you for listening intently and implementing so carefully. While Shelby loved the industrial and open style of the venue, we definitely wanted to create a warmer setting for Shelby, Jack, and our family and friends to celebrate. I would say the flowers accomplished this most important goal of ours.

I cannot thank Root + Bloom enough for the breathtaking flowers they provided for our wedding! Jessica worked hand in hand with my planner, and they took the time to listen carefully to my vision, understand my budget, and offer suggestions that felt both personal and thoughtful.
The florals, candles, and other decor she provided on our big day completely exceeded my expectations! Obsessed with our florals
Jessica is INCREDIBLE at what she does. I had high expectations and she absolutely over delivered. She has such a great eye, attention to detail, and sense of artfulness in creating her arrangements that I haven’t seen with any other floral vendor in the metroplex. The saddest part of my wedding day was packing up all the beautiful flowers!!!!
She also showed tremendous grace and resourcefulness dealing with a difficult venue, for which I will be forever grateful. I will recommend Jessica to all brides forever!

Jessica did the flowers for our wedding and they were gorgeous. The large tall centerpieces were HUGE...much larger and fuller than other weddings I've seen. This made them super impressive to the guests. The bridesmaids bouquets were also very full. Jessica was able to step in last minute to replace our previous florist and made everything super easy. She worked with us to stay in budget by re-using the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces and provided an easy turn key experience. We loved our florals!

Jess and her team over at Root and Bloom are true floral geniuses. From our first meeting with Jess, she just radiated professionalism and creativity. I walked into that meeting with little to no idea of what I wanted and left with a true understanding of my vision. Of all the vendors I had the privilege of working with, Root and Bloom were the EASIEST to work with, and as a bride, you are all about painless decisions because we know they are few and far between. I was so appreciative and impressed with her level of communication and knowledge of her craft. I felt as if she literally took the reigns and executed my dream to perfection. It’s like she could read my mind. Truly. The venue we chose could have felt very cold and modern, but Jess and her team gave it such a romantic and warm feel to it. I was a bit lost when it came to the flowers for our wedding but I knew what I wanted our reception to look like, so Jessica guided me on what I needed and educated me a bit on the type of flowers I liked. The final product did not disappoint! I could hardly believe it was real. The florals were gorgeous and brought my vision to life. And I cannot forget to mention my bouquet, to say I was obsessed with it is an understatement. It really tied my bridal look together and it also photographed beautifully. Jessica Huston and her team knocked it out of the park! I am not a girl who had a specific vision for my flowers, and with Jessica’s help, we came up with something beautiful together. I could not recommend this company enough! Root and Bloom escalated the entire look of our wedding and we could not be happier! We later decided to add flowers to our rehearsal dinner and I am SO happy we did. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Understood my vision!
It was so easy to work with Jessica. She completely understood what I envisioned for all my wedding florals, especially my bridal bouquet. Originally I had an autumn wedding, and had more of a moody/deep jewel tone color palette - then I had to postpone my wedding by 10 months and it landed in August. So she met with me again and reworked the vision board so it included brighter colors for the summer! I loved loved loved how she did my head table with the tall and short arrangements plus candles. She also put together a special arrangement to put in the front row pew in memory of my mother. It all looked beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Most talented florist!!!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jess and the whole Root and Bloom team!! She couldn't be sweeter or more talented! Along with stunning center pieces and a dream bouquet that didn't even look real, she designed and created the most incredible growing vines + sea of flowers display for our ceremony along a glass wall, as well as a hanging greenery and baby's breath hanging installation over our dance floor that was breath taking. Even after the crazy weather this year and lots of out of stock greenery and flowers, Jess managed to track down and find everything that we wanted and more to make our day even prettier than we could dream!
You will not find a better florist!!! If only her creations would last forever!

The months leading up to the wedding were so wonderful with Root&Bloom. I had my wedding on October 23, 2020; you would think planning was crazy- but every email/phone call/zoom meeting I had was so fun!! They left me so excited for what was to come and really became one of the most enjoyable parts of planning for me! I seriously teared up upon seeing my bouquet & the ones for my bridesmaids; Root&Bloom found just the right flowers for me & honestly fooled everyone into thinking I was the one with good taste!!! And when we walked into the reception... I had to stop myself from full out crying. They created a fairytale that looked like it was straight out of a magazine. I had guests coming up to me throughout the wedding asking WHO created all of the beautiful arrangements; I couldn’t have been prouder to immediately sing their praises. Not only is Jessica an extremely talented floral designer, she is also a kind and patient person who goes above and beyond for her clients. We went through many changes throughout our planning process, and every change impacted floral in some way. Jessica was patient with us as we revised our proposal about 20 times, working through each one with us. She went out of her way to make sure the floral was everything we wanted and more. We had a few unique requests, and Jessica made them happen for us. I was blown away on the day of the wedding with how gorgeous the flowers were. Everyone at the wedding loved them too! I cannot recommend Root and Bloom enough. Book them for your wedding and you will have the best experience!

Dream Wedding Realized!
I grew up gardening with my mom ever spring and summer, and I decided when I was 10 that I wanted flowers just like my mom's garden at my wedding. This meant bright, colorful flowers of all sizes - just like the bouquets we cut from her garden. Jessica put together the most incredible bouquets, table arrangements, flower wall and archway for my wedding that FAR exceeded what my 10-year-old heart imagined! She gracefully guided me to the flowers that made sense, both structurally and visually, to match my vision. It truly felt like walking into the most magical version of a garden when I walked into the reception. Every single person that came to my wedding commented on how extraordinary the flowers were - literally every person, no exaggeration. They were so stunning my 24-year-old brother even talked about them! On top of that, Jessica was so flexible with the postponement due to COVID and the change in seasonal flowers available for the vision from May to September. Without sounding overly dramatic, these arrangements made our wedding. We wanted to feel transported from the center of Dallas to somewhere in the country of France, with the lighting and outdoor scene, the most notable portion of our wedding abroad were the floral choices made by their team. I love flowers - In fact, we started the design of our wedding off with a simple floral print that set the tone for all design decisions after. So, you can imagine, the floral for our wedding was the thing that I was most excited for and that we just HAD to love.
From the beginning, Jessica was responsive, creatively inspired, and just a breeze and pleasure to work with. She even dealt with my back-and-forth and indecisiveness with ease. She would jump on the phone with me to talk things through with no hesitationsShe knew this was important to me and kept me on track.
I had some ideas that I brought to the table, but I truly wanted a florist that loved our inspiration and could take our little print and run with it. All that she did. Our wedding was beautiful: natural greenery to compliment our industrial space, just the right amount of colors of pop that we wanted, lush and organic arrangements... We loved it. I absolutely loved working with Jess! Flowers were very important to me and I have zero regrets about my decision to go with Jess as our florist. I gave her very limited information - date, location, colors, simple layout and a few favorite flowers and she rolled with it. Jess followed my Pinterest board which made it super easy to show her my thoughts when words just wouldn’t work. All of my wedding flower dreams came true thanks to her vision.

Jessica and her team are INCREDIBLE! I started working with Jessica very early on in my wedding planning so there was some time from the initial interaction that we did not chat. Even with the gaps she did not forget about me or anything we discussed. As we got closer she was great about jumping on quick calls with me to answer any questions or refresh me on what we discussed previously. I never gave her exact requests but more of loose visions and this girl CRUSHED IT. Everything they did was executed better than I could have imagined and they brought the entire wedding together. I highly recommend Jessica and her team for any and all events you might have.

Jessica is a DREAM to work with! Her arrangements are beautiful, and she is so creative. I couldn't recommend her more. Flowers were the most important part of my wedding, and she was easy to work with, very responsive to all of my requests, and I couldn't have been happier. I had lots of special requests (from a floral dog collar to putting floral on a boxwood wall) and she nailed them all. I would hire her again tomorrow if I had an event.

Honestly, I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful all her flowers looked on our wedding day. You will be working with the sweetest florist. I feel like there’s always a vendor who you don’t always feel at your best with, and Jessica never made me feel that way! After the day we met, I remember feeling comfortable with her and definitely felt like I could trust her with my floral expectations. I have her my inspiration and BOOM! Jess rocks!!! I actually met her while I was working a wedding and I loved her right off the bat. After seeing her creativity and style I knew that when I got married I needed to have her for my florals! I was so impressed that I just trusted her with everything. Jess is so talented! I adored my bouquet and my jaw dropped when I saw the work she did for my reception - our floral runner was over 40 feet long and every inch was absolutely breathtaking! On top of her talent, she is also one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She worked with me and my schedule and came over to my apartment for both of our meetings. She's the best!!

If I could give Jessica 10 stars, I would. From DAY ONE when I requested a quote, Jessica was responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. I recall requesting a quote and her responding immediately via email stating she was on vacation, but she would get me a quote as soon as possible. I had a quote sitting in my inbox by 7:30 am the next morning!
Root + Bloom made my wedding so incredibly beautiful--words cannot describe how happy I was when I saw the flowers. She took every idea I had and worked to create custom floral that was even more than I could have ever dreamed of. She even worked to add additional floral, yet help me stay within budget. Everyone at the wedding commented how gorgeous the flowers were, and Jess and Sheena were both such a delight to work with. Jessica was such a delight to work with! My mom and I met with her early on in the planning process, and she was able to fulfill my floral dreams while staying within my budget. She handled any changes like a champ and replied with reassuring comments like "Easy peasy!". On the wedding day when I received the bouquets, I wanted to cry because they were so perfect! She nailed it with a bouquet full of eucalyptus, berries, ranunculus, etc. with colors of blues, purples and even gold-painted baby's-breath and leaves. I loved it so much I pressed the flowers afterwards so I can frame them and keep them forever. I will always be glad we chose Jessica and the Root and Bloom team to be our florist for our big day. There aren't enough complimentary words in the English language to adequately describe Jessica and her talent, but I'll try my best. Working with Jessica was definitely one of the easiest and best parts of wedding planning. Even before we'd met, I was impressed with Jess's quick responses to emails and her dedication to her craft and customer service. When we met, I knew immediately that she was only person who would do our wedding justice. I felt like I'd known her forever and that she "got" me. Not knowing anything about florals or their respective costs, I had presented her with general ideas that were very much out of budget, and she took those ideas and came up with equally gorgeous, budget-conscious and unique alternatives. Although I didn't have a very specific vision, Jess took note of my likes/dislikes and the overall feel I wanted, and executed flawlessly -- it was zero stress on my part. I actually gasped when I saw my bouquet on my wedding day and the rest of the florals were equally beautiful and felt very personal. So many of our guests commented on how perfect the florals were. I don't know how she did it, but somehow she knew what I wanted without me being able to articulate it.
Not only is Jess extremely talented, she is kind, friendly and so easy. Her passion for her work and excitement over her clients' weddings is contagious. Although planning a wedding isn't always the easiest of endeavors, vendors like Jess make it so much more enjoyable.

Jessica was a true joy to work with. She is always calm, collected and as a bride, makes you feel understood and in good hands. She took my concerns with my reception space seriously, and delivered a solution that blew me away. Specifically, I was concerned that the high ceilings would leave the venue feeling empty, and therefore wanted to incorporate height (on a budget.) Man! Did she do that and then some! In addition, she is one of those people who takes feedback with grace- never making me feel uncomfortable when asking for small tweaks to the color palette or bouquet size/shape. Jessica isn't some corporate florist who makes you feel like a checklist client; which unfortunately seems to be where the industry is going. She will personalize, make you feel special, and prove that flowers REALLY do make a difference in the overall vision.

Jess and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! I'm not very creative, but after meeting with me once and talking primarily via phone and e-mail (I was in Seattle planning from afar), Jess was able to create a vision with her flowers/garland/candles that I didn't even know could exist. Our bouquets and wedding reception were so breathtaking and romantic that I still get chills thinking about them. I 100% recommend Root and Bloom- YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Jessica was beyond a pleasure to work with and quickly went from vendor to friend! As a huge flowers person, I knew floral and greenery would be a key part to our day. She OUTDID herself in every sense of the word. Our guests could not get over the arbor she created for our ceremony and we had endless comments on the impeccable centerpieces. You know it's been knocked out of the park when your "all things southern and Fancy Martha Stewart" friend refers to as one of the most beautiful weddings she's ever attended. After visiting the Root and Bloom website for the first time, I knew I was in love. Jessica, the owner, has an amazing flare to her work that I absolutely adored. It is unique and edgy in all of the right ways.
When I finally got to meet Jessica, it only got better from there. She is one of those people that makes you feel like you have been friends forever when you meet her. She was by far the easiest vendor to work with and completely understood my vision. You know when people tell you to pick your top things to focus on when it comes to your wedding? Mine was definitely the florals - so let's say my expectations were extremely high. And the best part of it all? Jessica and her team surpassed my expectations.
I booked Jessica about 10 months or so out from my wedding, which gave my vision lots of time to evolve. Jessica was there every step of the way, helping me come up with new (crazy) awesome ideas, updating invoices, and reading my novel like emails about what I was looking for. I never felt like a burden - she was there every step of the way, cheering me on and getting excited with me.
I received quotes from probably about 10 different florists in the area and Jessica was very reasonably priced compared to the other quotes I received. Which was a pleasant surprise considering her work was an absolute dream.
I really cannot say enough good things about Root & Bloom. When it comes down to it - you have to pick Jessica as your florist. She is bubbly, flexible, always timely and just the best all around.

Jessica is amazing. She is super easy to work with - creative with an understanding of business and customer service. She felt like part of the family from the day we met her. Not only are her flowers absolutely beautiful, she has the unbelievable ability to stay calm when it seems things are falling apart. We had a slight problem with another vendor delivery. Unfortunately, it held everything up. While everyone should have had extra set up time they had about a quarter of the time expected. Jessica managed to get the room decorated in no time with a smile on her face. If I could give her 10's across the board I would.

She got my vision instantly, made it better and was able to provide ideas for some tweaks that could help with my budget. 4 days before my wedding I had a sudden change with my venue and they banned all real candles which I thought was a nightmare (I had purchased soooo many candles, it was a major decor item) but with Jessica's responsiveness and flexibility she helped saved the day. She had some LED candles on hand and an idea to make my existing amount of flowers (too late to order more) work for more decor than originally planned. She turned some of the tables into different bud vase arrangements to compliment. I am beyond thankful for her to help solve and to allow me not to stress about the incident. When I saw all the flowers for the first time, I cried. Her floral truly set the mood and my vision for the space. I would hire her all over again and recommend her to any bride or anyone hosting an event.
