From the booking and planning process, they made it very easy and stress free. They were there to answer any questions we had. Come the wedding day, they handled everything perfectly. The food was awesome and they were so fun to work with! I would highly recommend them as a venue.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rockwoods and neither can our guests! From start to finish they were so helpful and easy to work with. We dropped all our decorations off Friday and they set it up beautifully and then cleaned it all up when it was over. It was two less things we had to stress about. The food was delicious and responsibly priced. We have received so many compliments about the food and the service from our guests. We highly recommend going with Rockwoods for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

If you want to take the stress off of your wedding day, go to Rockwoods!! Not only is the venue and the food STELLAR, but Rockwoods makes your wedding day so easy. They do all your decor and floorplan setup and tear down, which in itself is worth it, so you and family don't have to worry about it day of, they also are very communicative in the planning and preparation process, and are there to coordinate throughout the night. 1000% worth it for ease and organization of the day so you and your family and friends can just enjoy celebrating you! We got such great compliments on the food, alcohol, atmosphere, and vibes of our reception- Rockwoods will always have a special place in our hearts :)

Rockwoods is simply the best! All staff are friendly and the coordinators just killed it!! Julie and Lisa executed my plan and went above and beyond! I couldn't have been happier!!! It was the best day ever!!

Rockwoods was so amazing to work with. From the coordinators to the bartenders everyone was awesome. We could trust Rockwoods to have everything set up and under control. They had everything perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better reception. We had so many guests commenting on how great the food & dessert was! Rockwoods had its own patio which was great and a hotel right across the parking lot which was so convenient. I would recommend them a million times over. Amazing staff and venue!

Rockwoods is amazing! Our wedding was as beautiful as we could have imagined. I’m a very detail-oriented person and I appreciate that they do several meetings leading up to your date to help make sure that everything is in order. They also do all of the set-up and tear-down, which our families very much appreciated. Everything went so smoothly and the coordinators worked everything out beautifully. We had a smaller ceremony in the Four Seasons room, a bigger reception in the full Woods and Prairie room, and rehearsal dinner in the Four Seasons room the night before. They offer many decorations like centerpieces complimentary and it is very affordable to rent their other decorations. We couldn’t have found a better place in this price range.

Rockwood’s sure knows how to take care of their guest! Best Wedding Venue!! They deserve 10 stars! Wedding Date: 4-3-21. The coordinators at Rockwood’s are amazing huge shout out to Lisa, Meagan, and Katie. We had to postpone our wedding 2 times due to Covid and these ladies have been so wonderful to work with. Best communication ever! They respond to emails and calls quickly! We did a plated meal that was served quick. The food was so good we are still getting compliments about it. I highly recommend the pot roast! The bartenders were knowledgeable and nice to all our guest! The venue is beautiful. All the twinkle lights really light up the room and make for pretty pictures. The venue and food cost are very reasonable too. We had Lisa as our wedding day coordinator. She went above and beyond! She made sure the day stayed on track and that things ran smoothly. They really do make everything so convenient for you and guest! 3 huge perks of getting married at Rockwood’s are 1: You can also have your ceremony there. They have indoor and outdoor options! 2: There is a hotel sharing the parking lot! 3: The biggest perk of all… We literally were able to drop off all our decorations 2 days in advance and they set up everything for you!! They also have a lot of beautiful decorations of theirs you can use. Then when the weddings over you can just leave and go to your hotel or next destination. They do all the cleanup for you! They box up your decorations, and you pick them up 1-3 days later. This was great for us. We have been to so many weddings where you see the families all cleaning up an hour before the wedding ends. Who needs that stress!?! We loved our wedding at Rockwood’s and highly recommend it to everyone. Great atmosphere, tasty food, very reasonable prices, and stress-free.

Rockwood made what should have been a very stressful and detailed event very easy and without any problems. I wanted our wedding to be a simple, but elegant gathering where our friends and family could come and be part of our special day.

We were able to celebrate and could not have asked for better service. From the appetizers, to elegant decorations to the officiant who was able to capture who my husband and I are to perform a beautiful ceremony.

When I had needed Rockwood to be nimble at the last minute, folding in a special prayer at my request a day before our ceremony, they were able to accommodate this beautifully.

After the ceremony and dinner, the staff at Rockwood continued to work hard throughout the evening to provide ongoing service to our guests, so that we had to worry about nothing. Our friends and relatives had a wonderful time and it was one of the most stress free evenings I have ever had.

Having our wedding at the Rockwoods was the best decision we made while planning our wedding! They were so helpful, kind, patient, and flexible during these strange times. Having the wonderful event coordination staff help us along the way took an unbelievable amount of stress off of our shoulders. The wedding and reception was amazing and beautiful. Cannot recommend them enough to other couples looking for a beautiful, affordable, accommodating venue.

Rockwoods handled my daughter's wedding reception beautifully! Every interaction with staff leading up to the event was very pleasant, and on the big day they took care of everything so we had to worry about nothing! Many guests commented on the delicious food and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for all the personal attention you get. Fantastic!

Rockwoods is the best value out there. You get so much for what you pay for - they are reasonably priced and forward about their pricing. It includes a day of coordinator who makes sure everything happens as it should. We got to completely enjoy our day because they took care of everything - no one from our family or friends had to set up or tear down anything! Not to mention Rockwoods has endless inventory of items you can choose for decorations so there's no need to buy 200+ of something you will never use again.

Our gets raved about how good the food was. It came out hot and very quickly so no one was sitting there hungry. We live in the are and the banquet food as just as good and fresh as what you would order in the restaurant!

We started to shop around wedding venues about a year ago before our wedding day and found Rockwoods through different website recommendations. Before meeting with the team, we had dinner at the Rockwoods restaurant and tried their dinner options. The food turned out to be amazingly tasteful!

The next day, we made an appointment and met with their manager/wedding coordinator. At this point, we had no idea about our wedding details except for the wedding theme. Katie patiently went over the whole wedding process and even told us that they could make it like a fancy wedding with just a list of guests if we don't have a detailed plan. After the first appointment, they even provided a wedding planning checklist, which turned out to be really helpful!

Throughout the whole planning phase, they periodically checked in with us to make sure everything was in place. A few days before our big day, there were a few changes in our guest list, but everything went perfectly with their help and accommodations.

We brought our own wedding decorations and tags, and the staff decorated the whole place perfectly just as we planned and collected everything for us at the end of the event. That alone saved us a lot of time and effort and gave us peace of mind.

Luckily, they also have an officiant service and we had the pleasure to have Katie as our officiant! The ceremony went smoothly with laughter and emotional moments. We loved it, our family couldn't stop thinking about it, and many of our guests kept say it was one of the best and most beautiful wedding ceremonyies they've been to.

In addition to their superb wedding service, one big reason that we chose Rockwoods is that they have great relationships with other wedding venues (like Mid West Sound DJ), and all the great service comes into one single bill. One-stop shopping. We are amazed by the quality of the DJ and the wedding cakes!! (We just sent the design of the wedding cake we want, and they made exactly the perfect cake!)

All of our guests were impressed by the ceremony and reception services they received (food, drinks, etc.), but also had a fantastic time with the entertainment that the DJ provided. Also, the photo booth (part of DJ package) was a big hit!

If you are from around and looking for a great place to have your beautiful wedding and entertain your guests, then look no further. Great food, fantastic service, helpful staff, and more with an affordable price. We can't recommend highly enough of Rockwoods as your wedding venue!

Rockwoods was the perfect place to have our wedding reception. Everything from helping stay on task and time everything just right, to the amazing food! All of our guests made sure to let us know how amazing every one of there plates of food were perfect! (We has champagne chicken) We would highly recommend the Rockwoods to anyone!

I came to the Rockwoods anxious and nervous about our wedding after having talked with other venues. This place was different. They took my sketchy plans and helped me explore options and choose the wedding day of our dreams - not theirs! I felt personally connected to the Event Organizer staff after our first meeting! Our classy, small wedding and reception took place in their beautiful Four Seasons room with a fireplace and overlooking a garden patio- perfect for pictures. We choose the Pot Roast meal that was SO delicious! Servers and our coordinator were smiling, kind and helpful to all, from elderly to 1 year old! Definitely a professional 5 star day!

Best venue a bride could ask for! These ladies are so great to work with and made things extremely easy! I could enjoy my day without having to look at my watch, they took care of everything. Plus my guests could not stop raving about the food! Normally at weddings the food can get cold, not here. This food tasted gourmet and was hot/fresh! I highly recommend this place to anyone for any event :)

My wife and I just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Rockwoods on March 23rd 2019 and it was amazing!! Rockwoods blew it out of the water! We had 250 guests, and they do it all for you so the bride and groom and parents don’t have the stress or headache of all the planning and behind the scenes work that goes into a big/small wedding! Katie does an outstanding job with the ceremony, with professionalism but yet religious but also relaxed. Also she personalizes it to the bride and groom.. we had so many come up to us and say how they loved our ceremony, and the vows! And we’re like um Katie did it all you just answer a questionaire and she customized it to the bride and groom. But most importantly the food and drinks service and taste was out of this world. So many compliments from all the guest saying how great their food was, and how timely the bartenders were! Hands down well worth the money to have Rockwoods host your wedding, because they take care of the decorations, food, booze, and entertainment, all with a smile and friendly staff!

The Rockwoods staff were great to work with! They made planning the wedding so easy and fun! They are very helpful and anything you wanted done for your big day was accomplished by the amazing team!! Rockwoods was an amazing venue for our wedding reception. The coordinators were so easy to work with and willing to go above and beyond to make sure our night went smoothly. They responded promptly to any questions we had and helped us every step of the way. Our night was stress-free because of their hard work, and we got tons of compliments on the food. My husband and I got married at Rockwoods in September of 2017. They were absolutely superb to work with through the planning process and on our wedding day! The staff at Rockwoods was flexible, responsive, professional, organized, and so accommodating! We felt very comfortable and at ease working with them - we knew they would do what they could to make our big day as stress-free as possible, and they did just that. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food from our guests! One of our favorite things about Rockwoods is not having to set up or take down any of the decorations. We loved not having to worry about take down or set up - or having to pick up all of our decorations the night of the wedding. My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Rockwoods and their staff! It was the best day - thanks to Rockwoods for making it so special! We HIGHLY recommend them! :)

From start to finish, Rockwoods goes above and beyond all expectations. We had our ceremony and reception at Rockwoods and our day couldn't have been more perfect! Katie was our officiant that day and she put together the ceremony that was unforgettable! We had so many compliments on the venue and food! Rockwoods does all of the set up for you (including all of your decor that you bring in!) and they take care of all of the clean up at the end of the night. They take away all stresses of the day so you can focus on what is most important and for any bride, that is something money cannot buy. Rockwood's was the best selection for a reception hall we could have ever made! They do it all for you, set up, take down, no extra charge. They also let you drop off your reception items a few days before, along with the cake. At the end of the night they took everything down and had it waiting for you to pick up the next day or two. Rockwood's included a lot of extras that other reception halls do not. The food was also amazing! We had so many guests comment on how delicious dinner was. Anytime I hear someone is looking for a reception venue, I will always recommend the Rockwood's!

My daughter had her reception here on July 22nd and we could not have been more pleased. The service is absolutely outstanding! We had some last minute food orders and the staff did not blink an eye at our extra requests. We heard rave reviews from guests about the food and service. Our guests also really enjoyed the private outdoor patio and bonfire pit. It was a great spot to cool off from the dance floor or have a quieter spot to chat. From start to finish this was a fabulous venue!

From start to finish Rockwoods did an amazing job! Through the whole planning process they answered all my emails and questions in a very timely manner. The stressed that this was our day so we could do what we wanted but were helpful when we asked for advise. The day of the wedding, they had the timeline exactly where it needed to be, nothing ran late, the food and service was amazing. All of my guests commented on how beautiful the venue is and how great everything was. Wouldn't change a thing!

We held our reception at Rockwoods and they did an amazing job! Our reception was non-traditional and we held a happy hour with appetizers during the daytime. Rockwoods staff were very accommodating to our wishes for a casual, low maintenance day. I was not very interested in wedding decor, centerpieces, etc. I gave them a bunch of items in our colors and the staff decorated the venue beautifully. They checked in with us periodically throughout the day to make sure we were happy. All of our guests gave great feedback on the staff, food, and atmosphere of Rockwoods.

Katy was so great with us, I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding! It was so great to not have to worry about anything when it came to the decorations or how the ceremony would go she did everything!

We are having our reception at Rockwoods next fall. So far they have been very helpful with any questions that we have, and provide great service. Included in their set-up is a set-up of all of our decorations that we are bringing in as well (at no extra charge), which is a huge help so that we don't have to go that morning to set up our center pieces! They also have a great selection of food for dinner/catering, and even said that if there is something that is not on the menu that they can figure out pricing for that too! So far has been very quick in responses and has been able to help with suggestions in other areas of our wedding (off site ceremony, chair rentals, etc.). I'm very happy with them thus far!

Rockwoods Banquet center is absolutely amazing!! I would schedule with them again, and again, for all of my events!! They took care of everything the day of my wedding and the months and weeks leading up to it. They were prompt with emails, and always answered all of my questions thoroughly. When I walked into my reception hall, it looked exactly like I had imagined. Katie and her team did everything possible to make my wedding day the best day of my life. From start to finish Angie and her staff were amazing. She helped with planning ideas and took care of EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. My daughter and her husband said it was better than they ever thought. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They had flexible pricing and can work within any budget. We wanted "the works" including an open bar and pizza later in the evening. Everything was perfect and everyone raved about the food! Wouldn't have change a thing!!

Angie and team worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect! There were a couple issues with guests (surprise guest and missing seat for guest) and Angie was so quick to fix the problem. She made sure I was happy with everything and made me feel so comfortable. I had 100% faith and trust in her and her team! Rockwoods has the elegance of a high-end banquet hall but with the tight, close-knit staff of a small town. The banquet center itself is the perfect size with a patio, double sided bar, heightened ceilings, and a decent size dance floor. The staff decorates the room with such simple elegance (my favorite being the "Christmas lights" within the flowing drapery hung above and on the windows) yet sophistication. The mannerisms and timeliness of the staff is something that drew me in from the beginning. They do an excellent job of making you (and your wedding party) feel like you are their only focus ALL the time. They go above and beyond what I would have ever expected; they really treat you like family (Angie, Katie, Kyle & Karen specifically).

Our reception was beautiful and went very smoothly thanks to the amazing banquet team at Rockwoods. Our wedding party and guests had a blast. It was a perfect evening!

Honestly, doing our reception at Rockwoods made it the least stressful part of our whole wedding day! Angie and her team take care of everything, and are so helpful and knowledgeable that it's so helpful for planning. Plus, the prices are very reasonable! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Fabulous, just fabulous! Angie and her team are amazing. They were prompt in responding to questions, extremely detail oriented, creative and talented, understanding, professional, and fun too! They were really the best a person could ask for. After researching places in the Twin Cities and up to St. Cloud, I found their rates were very competitive. The food was phenomenal (NY Strip Steak and "fancy" Chicken. The reception room was very pretty. You can bring your decorations days before, and they take care of decorating for you! All in all, they just make everything EASY, ORGANIZED, and SOPHISTICATED. Thank you!

Rockwoods Banquet Hall is the best place! All throughout planning our reception, they have been there with a quick response and very helpful ideas. They are awesome they helped us unload our personal items we brought in they set up everything took down everything the next morning, and had our stuff ready to be picked up. I totally recommend them, everything was perfect nothing went wrong. I can not stress enough how great the employees are there, especially Angie she is amazing!

We had our wedding reception at Rockwoods on 04/12/2014. From the first time we looked at the venue, to deciding to go with them, through all the planning, and after they have been nothing short of amazing. I am a very detail orientated and a bit of a perfectionist so probably not the easiest for people to work with and they were just fabulous. They responded to my hundreds of emails always promptly and made time for our viewings, tastings, and meetings at times they werent always supposed to be there.

The staff here set everything up for us with no additional "wedding planner" charge. They also took down everything. This was such a relief and they did a beautiful job! I walked over to the venue around noon on the day of the wedding and they had at least 5 people working on every detail of the room. By details I mean: drapings, flowers, centerpieces, beads, pictures, gift table, seat assignments, beads, chair covers & sashes, and more! It was nothing short of glamorous!

On to the food... The food was also very tasty! We chose the pork tenderloin and chicken marsala and I have gotten many compliments from our guests since then about how much they loved it.

The morning after the reception a group of us had brunch in the restaurant side and that was amazing too! There was so much variety! After brunch we returned to the banquet part and found all of our flowers and other props put together in a neatly arranged area so we could just grab them and go! Top notch service!!!!! In my opinion this venue is under priced in comparison to others we looked at and also others we have been guests at.

Angie and Kyle at Rockwoods are the best you'll find! They were incredibly responsive with communication happening so quickly that many questions were answered with in minutes of being emailed. The location was impeccably decorated, the service people were kind and happy to be there, the food is still being raved about! I can't say enough about how amazing my wedding turned out and much of that was due to the experience I had at Rockwoods. They set up and took down everything, it was perfect and effortless! I would recommend, with out hesitation, hosting any party at Rockwoods. They know their stuff!

Rockwoods is our favorite place to go for a nice dinner, happy hourr, date night with friends, and was our first and only choice for our wedding reception site. From start to finish, Angie and her assistants were amazing, accomidating, and professional. We always have loved their food, but the tasting just showed us that we couldn't have made a better decision. When it came to maing decisions about decorating, they were so helpful and creative, coming up with the most beautiful ideas. As the day came closer, the reception was one thing we did not have to stress out about. We dropped off everything a couple days before and they made magic. Walking into our wedding reception was beyond what we expected! A month later, our guests are still talking about the food, the service, and the decorating. No detail was left unturned and we thank you Rockwoods crew for making our day so elegant and worry-free!

Angie Minerich-Gardner and the entire Rockwoods banquet team provided the finest service that we could have hoped for! Our event went off like clockwork; the food was great; their attention to detail and the little things that can make your day so special was flawless; their experience in hosting events and the advice Angie and the team gave us during the planning and execution of our event was invaluable! We have one more daughter to marry off and we know where that event will be--at The Rockwoods! We would recommend them to anyone!

Rockwoods is an absolute beautiful place to have a wedding reception! Everything looked beautiful, the staff allowed me to drop my things off a few days early and they took care of the decorations! Which was extremely helpful! Also, the food was absolutely amazing! The wedding coordinator Angi is awesome and very helpful, she does a wonderful job at everything

Angie was wonderful to work with. We did not have to set up anything, I dropped everything off Wednesday before the wedding and picked it all up Monday after. It was so stress free knowing that she was taking care of everything! The only thing was the cheescake was not what I had been told it would be. Over all though the food was perfect, so many comments from guests!!!

Rockwoods worked very well with our wedding. They listened to what we wanted and delivered, making our day go smoothly and stress-free. The food was great and so was the service.

Rockwood's staff are wonderful to work with! The facility and décor provided were absolutely beautiful! The entire Rockwood's team are top notch professionals that are experts at what they do.

All three women (Katie, Laurie, and Isabel) were very helpful, responded promptly and understanding of any questions/things that arose both prior and during our wedding. They helped us out any way they could with whatever we needed help with. They provided great customer service and catered to us during our reception at their venue. They were very friendly and fun to work with throughout the whole process.
The food we had at our wedding (Herb Grilled Chicken and Beef Pot Roast) was superb. It was very delicious and the meal was delivered to guests promptly and on time in according to our dinner time. We received dozens of comments from our guests who told us how spectacular the food was.
Our event space and the facility as a whole was just gorgeous. It was decorated very well and was very spacious. The flow of the room and how things were organized was done very well. There was plenty of room for all of our guests to get around and chit chat with other guests, whether it be in the dining room itself or in the bar area as well.
We would definitely recommend using Rockwoods as your wedding venue!

Rockwoods was so amazing I highly recommend them their coordinators were so accommodating and made the planning less stressful! The officiant that works there as well was amazing and so sweet! She even helped me busses my dress after the ceremony! Everyone commented how beauiftul our venue was and really loved the outdoor patio with a fire pit as well!! I would choose them over and over again!!

Rockwoods was phenomenal to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process! Their coordinator Angie was amazing along with the rest of their wedding planning staff. Our emails were responded to promptly, they were always willing to make changes to suit our needs, and they made the wedding planning process extremely easy. They made sure every detail was covered with the workbook that we filled out with the coordinator. During the weekend of the wedding they did all the set up and take down which relieved a lot of stress. The venue looked gorgeous for our reception. We could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend them.

Angie & the whole team at Rockwoods Banquet Center were very pleasant to work with. They always responded back to me very fast and had all my questions answered right away. They went above & beyond and helping with setting up the day off and making sure everything went smoothly for us.

Very beautiful place! I was happy with everything! The place looked very beautiful with all the decorations up. Very spacious. The dj sounded really good also.

At the beginning it was rocky with a few changes they rocked it.

My reception was BEAUTIFUL! I dropped the decorations, table gifts, and everything off the day before the reception and everything was set up PERFECT. I had a little trouble with Beth she didn't exactly want to help me in planning the set up of the reception and I got the vibe that I was a real inconvenience for her. But TOM was AMAZING... He was the original person who went through things with us and he was fun up beat and full of ideas. He was willing to let us walk in and take a tour anytime we wanted and he was sooooo flexible, fun to talk to, easy to work with. ALSO, they took care of everything for me which was really nice. The only thing that I would keep in mind is that their minimun does not include liquor & beer, and the ballooning of the tulle is rather expensive when you know that it was already set for the previous event.

Though this venue is expensive it is well worth it! They have a great space that is decoreated beautifully and the food and staff are amazing. You can chose to do a buffet or sit down meal. I always though we'd have a buffet but doing a sit down is so much more comfortable. It does add to the cost but it is much worth it! When you look at the site the dance floor looks small but it is much bigger than needed! The staff also puts out your decorations for you if you bring your own at no additional cost. You don't get charged for cake serving either! It was AMAZING!
