Kirsty is one of a kind and a literal gem 💎 of a human. She is so positive and encouraging. Among all of those amazing qualities she is also fantastic at what she does. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and my makeup for my wedding. Folks the proof is in the pudding, my makeup lasted through tears and sweat on both occasions. She was responsive to the direction of hair and makeup I wanted for both occasions. She also has a tan business and made me look like a glowing princess on multiple occasions as well. I live over an hour away and plan to continue to see her for beauty needs as they come up! Love love love her and all the things she provides through her business!

Kirsty was the perfect addition to our big day!
I had a trial with another artist (after having to put down the down payment), and felt overwhelmed because it was not the look I was going for. After checking out her work on Instagram and Wedding Wire, I asked Kirsty if she could do a trial before entering into a contract- and she was great about it! She was very flexible with scheduling and rescheduling the trial due to work conflicts- which was super helpful. Ultimately, the trial went great and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She used the perfect colors for my skin (aka not too pale) and all of the foundation was even and beautiful. She also knew just how to make my eyes pop! I couldn't have been happier on my wedding day- and all of the bridesmaids and mothers absolutely loved their makeup (which is unusual when everyone has different expectations). It also helps that she's the sweetest person to have in the bridal suite for the big day!

Kirsty has a way of making you feel very comfortable. I don't know much about makeup and makeup application. She gently answered my questions and never made me feel silly for not knowing. She is very responsive and flexible although I know she books up quick. She is worth booking ASAP! She did my wedding make-up trial for my engagement photos. I asked if she could do it a bit softer than I wanted for the actual wedding day which was not a problem at all. She did ABSOLUTELY amazing on my wedding day. I have never felt so fabulous in my entire life! The makeup application was flawless and she picked the perfect lip color. I can't even begin to explain how many compliments I got on the lip color! She made all of my bridesmaids feel so comfortable even though she just met them. I was lucky enough to get to build a relationship with her prior to the wedding due to the trial. I also started purchasing skin care products from her (amazing) and had her do some lash applications for other weddings/events I have attended. Every experience I have with Kirsty is wonderful!

Kristy was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided a makeup service that went beyond my expectations! Communication with Kristy was responsive and timely and I truly appreciated her flexibility throughout the process. She caught onto my makeup vision right away and gave me the "golden and glowy" look I was trying to achieve. My bridal party was also very pleased with their wedding looks for the day and everyone looked absolutely stunning! The makeup stayed on strong throughout the hot and steamy June day... even into the next morning (oops for not taking my makeup off before bed). First off, I am not one to write reviews but I am going out of my way to tell you to stop your researching now and pick Kirsty as your Makeup Artist! Kirsty was so easy to talk to and communicate with and is very talented! I walked into my trial Makeup appointment nervous. Kirsty listened, understood, reviewed my inspiration photos, and helped my vision come to life! Her home studio is adorable and she made my wedding morning special by creating a warm environment and got me even more excited to walk down the aisle to my future husband!

Kirsty was amazing! I went through 6 different makeup artists before finding Kirsty, and I am so thankful I found her. She is on top of it and will make you feel amazing for your wedding or whatever event you are having! We did a trial a few months before the wedding and she nailed it. Kirsty was absolutely the best! And so flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. We pushed both my make up trial and day of make up back and she was so kind about it. My mom was also super nervous about getting her make up done so Kirsty did a trial for her as well. And the lashes she used, superb! She asked the mom's and my bridesmaid's to try them and if they didn't like them she'd take them off. But of course everyone loved them! And all of the make up looked so natural as well.

Kirsty recently did my hair & make up before having family portraits taken and she is amazing! Oh my goodness! First of all Kirsty is the nicest human. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and she is fun to chat with. She also does and INCREDIBLE job. Later in the evening (during my fully outside wedding with no tent) it rained. I spent several hours dancing in the rain and when I looked in the mirror after the wedding MY MAKEUP WAS STILL PERFECT. I had the best experience with this sweet lady! She is professional and very mindful about what YOU want. She was quick and it was smooth, no issues at all. I had to fill a form out prior to application due to allergies and again she was very mindful. The application looked natural and flawless with the airbrush makeup she had used. And as somebody who has acne it was really important to cover without looking cakey. She did just that!! I will never recommend anyone else. The small talk was nice and not in the slightest bit awkward. I appreciated her laidback personality. We wanted to do a “kiss the miss goodbye” with red lipstick and she told us it was a bad idea since it stains and low and behold she was scraping red lip stain off for like 20 minutes. (With a smile on her face) but bottom line, listen to her. She knows what she’s doing And she’s amazing at it!

I don't know why you wouldn't work with Kristy! I first worked with her for a friend's wedding and I was hooked from then. She did the makeup for my engagement pictures and I was so THRILLED with how it looked! I've never been able to do my makeup like she can and I cannot wait to use her again for my wedding day! (Also...she teaches lessons, which I will DEFINITELY take her up on!) Kristy is so sweet and listens to exactly what you wants. The results are stunning and last all day and her pricing is incredibly reasonable. If you need or want a makeup artists, you HAVE to work with Kristy!

I was back and forth with having professional make-up for my wedding. I don't tend to wear a lot of make-up in my day to day life, but wanted this to be fun and special for our wedding day. Kristy was amazing, she made me feel flawless, but I also still felt like my natural self. She is also just a delight to be around, so kind, friendly and inviting. Highly recommend her services, she will make you feel like a queen! I did not have an official bridal party, but she still accommodated all my gals who were with me getting ready, and made it possible to split the bill up for multiple people to pay. Kirsty was responsive, professional and so reasonably priced for the work that she does. I had a group of girls who wanted everything from natural makeup, to full glam and she was able to accomodate each one perfectly. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Kirsty is the best in the world. I found her through my hair dresser Derek (who she works with frequently) and knew she was the right choice right away! You can tell in her pictures that she does a great job at "photo ready" makeup that doesn't look overdone. She definitely delivered on that!
At my trial, she really listened to what makeup I normally wear, what I'd like it to look like, what colors will be on the bridesmaids, etc. I normally don't wear lip color/lip stick and she totally understood. She encouraged me to wear a neutral just for photos and even just that advice was excellent! The day of my wedding she arrived early and very prepared. She did makeup for 10 girls including myself in just over 4 hours. A few girls had some last minute fixes or changes and she was always happy to help with anything. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and that was in large part to Kirsty! Also she does individual lashes (included in the makeup price) and does them faster than I've ever seen anyone do them. They stayed on all night and felt so much better than wearing big eyelash strips. The airbrush stayed on all night and looked amazing in pictures. Thank you so much, Kirsty!!

After makeup lesson
Kirsty is great! I learned so much - I never realized how much better my makeup could look until I followed Kirsty’s suggestions. I have had no problem using her instructions on my own at home - except that I need to invest in some more makeup brushes and other supplies. But even with the makeup and brushes I already own, my ability to apply the makeup to have a more finished look has been enhanced. I also really appreciated Kirsty’s willingness to share which products are worse the cost - whether they are a little more expensive or more on the economical end. Kirsty is not only knowledgeable, she is also friendly and entertaining. I never felt overwhelmed or inept - even though I have not been doing a lot of things right. I am not someone who is driven to write reviews, but in this case, i really think the session was fun, informative and definitely worth it.

Meeting with Kirsty was a great experience!! She listened to my individual needs/wants and took into account my lack of experience with make up. I left feeling fully confident that I could duplicate the basic look (my request) she did for me. She also wrote up an entire list of products and a step by step plan for me to refer back to until I got the hang of things.

You cannot get any better than Kirsty
I cannot get over how amazing Kirsty is! When we showed up to the venue, she was ready to go. We had 11 people to get makeup done and she killed it, both with the actual makeup and the time schedule. She’s amazing. I can not recommend someone better.

She was a true professional and her work is amazing!!!
I was a bit nervous because I’m very particular about my make-up and my niece (the bride) chose her on her own. I’m glad she did...Kristi was beyond amazing. It was about 90 degrees out with 100% humidity the day if the wedding and my make-up did not move. If I lived in VA, I would use her for ALL of my make-up needs!

Elegantly beautiful
Kirsty was an amazing asset to our wedding day. She not only made my girls and I elegant but she made us feel so special and beautiful in each of our own little ways. Highly recommend her as she makes you feel like her own family. She works very hard...she had 7 gals from bridal party and mother of the bride to complete make up for and put time and effort into everyone's individual look. Also a very fun person to have around when you getting ready for a very big day!

This woman is a rockstar
Everyone wants to look their best on their wedding day and that doesn’t just apply to a bride on her special day it also applies to your bridesmaids. We stress out, we shed some tears of joy and get sweaty because the moment that you have been waiting for is finally here. Make up Artists play a huge roll in your day as well, don’t forget that. They are there with you making sure everything is just the way you wanted or they might want to add a little more sparkle to you and surprise you. That’s why I am so thankful for Kirsty. She was amazing and so professional, she did exactly what me and my bridesmaids wanted. When I saw her walking with a suitcase, I knew right there and then she means business and she is the one. She was fun but yet still so bold. The results of her art was way beyond than what I thought it would be. I remember telling my maid of honor that I didn’t even want to go to sleep with my face looking like that, I feel like I should be on a runway right now. Kirsty is amazing, she is talented, the outcome of her work says it all. The passion that she has for women feeling beautiful you can just feel it. I am forever thankful for her wonderful work! Incredible experience!

Kirsty was so amazing to work with! She did my makeup for both my bridal portraits and my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! All of my bridesmaids and mother and grandmother of the bride loved working with her as well! She was very organized and responsive when originally booking with her, was professional and flexible with my schedule when coordinating times and dates, and kept the mood light and fun (especially the day of the wedding when I felt a bit overwhelmed at times). Susannah’s River Wedding
Kirsty is unbelievable! Not only is she talented but just a genuine and kind hearted person! She came all the way out to my family river house and helped make my mom,myself and some of my girls gorgeous! I don’t know much about makeup and she helped create a natural look that was stunning in portrait and day of pictures! Even my photographer asked “ girl who did your makeup because she is ON POINT!” I ended up doing airbrusha and it was totally worth it! Can’t say enough wonderful things!

I am so happy that I had Kirsty on my wedding day, and there are not enough wonderful things I could say about her! Kirsty did my make-up, both my Mom and my Mother-in-law, five of my bridesmaids, and even added in 2 of our groomsmen's wives that were there getting ready with us, and was still done on time! Everyone looked amazing, and Kirsty killed it!
From our first conversation, to our first meeting at my bridal trial, Kirsty resonated that warm energy that makes you feel like you have known her forever, and that she is more of a friend than just a vendor you hired. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease through the entire process, not to mention my make-up looked flawless and lasted through the day into the evening!
I would recommend Kirsty to the highest degree, and am so grateful that I chose her to help me look perfect on my wedding day! I can't wait to work with her again in the future for any and all my make-up needs!
