Nazzie was great! Food was absolutely delicious and servers were spot on. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have had. I am white American and my husband is Indian so we had to please both crowds and this was the way to do it. We Highly recommend and will use Reza's again for other events.

We said "the hell with it" and went with our favorite food, kebabs, for our wedding food. Bottom line, Rezas negotiated a price with us, and provided amazing food in amazing quantities. I recommend the restaurant and their catering.

Best part was we live in DC, the wedding was in Chicago, and they delivered as promised...

I just had my ceremony and reception here, and it was lovely. I worked with Nazzie, the event coordinator, throughout the planning process, and she was always friendly and accommodating. I worked with her mainly via email, and while her responses were not always as thorough as I'd like, she was always quick to respond, and would eventually answer all the questions I had. She was also on-site the day of the wedding to help with things as needed.

Once we got closer to the date, we were able to fully customize our catering and drinks menu, and the prices are incredibly reasonable compared to other Chicago venues. The River North location (where we had our event) is a very cool, old world/industrial looking space. Brick walls, wood floors, wood beamed ceilings, and a GORGEOUS fireplace. Every time I stopped by Reza's for anything, they not only recognized me but bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed.

The week of my wedding, we were able to get into the event space the day before the wedding to decorate, and we didn't have to clear everything out until the day after. Full access to the event space for 3 days is amazing! We also had a weather emergency the day of our wedding and had to move our ceremony to Rezas at the last minute. They rushed to make sure we had chairs set up for our ceremony and were very gracious with our guests. After the event, people were raving about how great the food was.

Overall, I would highly recommend Rezas to anyone looking for a great, affordable wedding venue in an urban environment. I had my perfect Chicago wedding here.

I have been telling everyone to book their reception at Reza's.

We were at the Andersonville location. Saad, the manager and our contact person, was nothing but patient and kind to us. You have to make a 50% deposit to book the banquet room upstairs, but he let us make a lower estimate than we actually had, to ensure that we did not overpay (i.e. we knew about 60 people would come, but he only made us pay for 20 up front, just in case). You pay the rest at the end of the night.

The day of the banquet they let my florist and her gang come in 5 hours early to set up. They even helped set up tables. They admittedly did mess up the seating plan (somehow they forgot two tables), but were very eager to fix that once we realized it. And it didn't disrupt anything.

They allowed us to bring in a sound system for music and we danced the night away. Granted, we weren't a rowdy and drunk bunch, but they never even hinted at asking us to turn the music down.

The room was a pretty exposed brick with hardwood floors room. Very urban studio and exactly what we wanted. They even let us decorate the gorgeous banister with flowers.

Still, the best part was the food. We got Banquet Menu #4, which at $29.95 a person ($38.11 with tax and tip, though we added a bit more at the end of the night) was a steal. The room comes FREEEEEE with the food. This menu package gave us 5 appetizers (grilled mushrooms, hummus, grilled feta, grilled potatoes and maust khiar yogurt), rice (dill and white), lentil soup, drinks, tea, dessert (bamieh and baklavah) and 3 entree options (Filet Mignon Kebab, Huge Shrimp Kebab and best of all, SEA BASS). People are honestly still talking about that sea bass 8 months later. They even brought up some more for us when it all disappeared.

My only small complaint is that you can't bring in outside drinks. I don't drink alcohol, and neither did half the guests, so we wanted sparkling cider, but they did not have it, nor would they allow us to bring it. We just toasted with Coca-Cola, which was humorous because it looks like dark red wine when it's in a wine cup, so we all looked guilty in our wedding pictures. :)

We just booked Reza's for our wedding and reception. Private event space used for our 100 guest wedding. Room is beautiful brick and wood, with stained glass windows. The restaurant management team is very flexible. This venue/caterer is such a great value.

We used Reza's Restaurant for our reception venue because it was the least expensive option close to downtown Chicago. The venue itself is beautiful. It's small, and suited our guest count of about 80 very well. Depending on what you are looking for, they can accommodate much larger groups, but we just reserved part of the space. The food is AMAZING - and you can't go wrong on the price. There was no rental cost for the space - we only paid per plate, and prices start around $20. Super affordable! Our only qualms were with the staff, which for the most part treated us wonderfully, but some miscommunication led to a few disappointments the night of (our desserts weren't served on time and our bar closed earlier than we'd planned). Overall, good venue, good staff, good food.
