My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of having Reverend Ron Sheppard officiate our wedding in August 2024, and we couldn’t have asked for better! From the very beginning, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.
What truly stood out to us was how much he genuinely cared. He took the time to get to know us so that he could craft a ceremony that was very personal and meaningful!
Communication was effortless; he was always easy to reach and incredibly reliable. Any time we had a question or needed guidance, he was there with warmth and reassurance.
Our ceremony was nothing short of unforgettable. Reverend Ron created an atmosphere that was heartfelt, intimate, and full of love. His words resonated not only with us but with every single guest in attendance. We received so many compliments on how special and personal our ceremony was, thanks to him.

Like most wedding days, ours didn’t go entirely as planned—we ended up running about 40 minutes late to the Ladies Pavilion due to an unexpected mishap at the hotel. Despite that, Rev. Ron was calm, gracious, and incredibly accommodating. He arrived right on time with my soon-to-be husband, and without missing a beat, adjusted to the delays and helped keep everything on track.
The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful. Rev. Ron took great care to acknowledge my husband’s late father, as well as other family members we’ve lost, which meant so much to us both. He handled our interfaith marriage with such thoughtfulness—my husband being Hindu and our family being Christian—and created a ceremony that felt seamless and inclusive for everyone present.
What could have been a stressful situation turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives, thanks to Rev. Ron’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. We are so grateful for the warmth he brought to our day and will always remember the ceremony as something truly special.Reverend Ron Sheppard's reply:

Wonderful Reverand Ron
Really great communication with him leading up to the wedding. We also spoke about things to do and see and where to eat whilst in NY on a Whatsapp video call (we're from out of town). He is so personable and easy to speak to. We had a wedding package tailored for us.
He turned up early to the Rock on the day and made us feel so at ease. His beautiful words made us both cry happy tears during our ceremony.
He was so kind and is filing the wedding paperwork for us.
Can't recommend enough.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect officiant than Reverend Ron. He led a beautiful ceremony that was heartfelt, short and sweet — exactly what we had hoped for. We had originally planned to write our own vows, but after reading his, we knew nothing could say it better. Reverend Ron also gave us a short questionnaire beforehand, which allowed him to personalize the ceremony with the perfect touches that made it feel uniquely ours. His presence was calming, genuine, and grounded, and he made everything feel effortless and meaningful. Highly recommend! -

He wanted to know more about us and know our personal history instead of simply pronouncing us husband and wife!

Reverend Ron is a wonderful officiant. We went through 2 venue changes and 3 different ceremony plans due to the pandemic and Reverend Ron stuck by us the entire time. He offered advice and called to check up on us and see how things were going. A few days before the wedding, he called to confirm and and see how we were doing. He is a kind and caring soul and my wife and I appreciated how he took the time to get to know us and our story, which he used at the ceremony. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding. -

Even before our ceremony, we considered 'Reverend Ron' to be not merely our officiant, but a friend as well! He did all within his power to make a reality of the several elements that we had envisioned for our wedding; first, by carefully listening to our ideas, then by asking a few insight-producing questions of his own and, finally, by taking an enthusiastic and flexible approach to crafting our specific event. We were, for example, very pleased at the care that he put into including "our story" into the brief, "multi-cultural" proceedings that were held outdoors in Central Park. This provided context for our guests regarding that which had brought us together and that which we believe will keep us together. Worth noting, also, are his manifestly positive spirit, his open personality and the solid, "common-sense" wisdom, (based on his own experiences,) with which he provided advice to further propel a couple such as us toward an optimistic future. -

Jenniffer Sent on 12/15/2017Thanks to Ron we were able to have our dream pop up wedding at Rockefeller Center in NYC! We weren't sure we could pull it off and were so glad to be able to book Ron with short notice. It's a day we will remember as being lovely and spontaneous like us. Ron gave us options on the type of vows we would like to use and some suggestions on locations in NYC before we finally decided on Rockefeller Center in December.
