Amazing experience with family team!
We're so grateful to David and his team for all their help with our wedding. They made the process of picking out our rentals smooth, fun, and enjoyable, giving us a tour of their facility and walking through the plethora of linen, table wear, furniture, and equipment options. Rent-E-Quip is the best to work with! They were quick to respond, easy to make adjustments with and always accommodating. When we decided we needed a tent pretty last minute, of course they were booked up. They ended up moving things around so that we were able to get one and it was such a relief (it rained all day). They really went above and beyond. We rented the tent, tables, chairs, catering materials and other things, and everything went off without a hitch. I wouldn't have wanted to work with any other company! Thanks, Rent-E-Quip for helping to make our special day so perfect!

Their team made sure we had everything we needed in our initial consultation and walked us through the typical rental needs for a wedding (very helpful since we didn't have a planner). This rental business is top notch! Their sales staff is so accommodating and they know and understand the needs of their customers. They leave nothing to chance! The tent, tables, chairs, China, dance floor, stage, generator and catering equipment were delivered early and the set up was meticulously done. When they picked up the rented items after the wedding, the yard looked as if they had never been there.
I have used this company three times over the last five years and I can’t say enough good things about them!! They are AWESOME!!! -

We had Rent-E-Quip do our tent, dancefloor, and bistro lights for our August 2021 wedding in Lexington, VA. They were responsive, professional, flexible, and accomodating to work with. We rented a gorgeous sailcloth tent and black and white dance floor and they were *stunning.* Very high quality and more affordable than Charlottesville-based event rentals. I'd highly recommend Rent-E-Quip. -

No fuss, no stress
The staff was knowledgeable and responsive and helped take the stress out of our planning our father’s 80th birthday party. The tables and chairs we rented were clean and in good condition. The staff loaded and unloaded everything quickly. It was a no fuss, no stress experience. -

I found the company associates to be very pleasant and helpful when it came to selecting items that I needed. They came to me highly recommended from a friend who recently utilized their services. My event was a success and looked very beautiful, thanks to their help. I also like that it is a family business and it seems as though each customer is given a very personalized experience. When I returned the items, the owner even asked about my party and asked to see some pictures. She was genuinely excited about how things turned out. That says a lot, and meant a lot. I will return!

Fantastic customer service
Rent-E-Quip provided tents and flooring for our son’s wedding. The day before the event, we decided we needed more protection from eminent rain and Rent-E-Quip was on-site adding more cover and flooring. Did I mention our event was 120 miles away. Also, every member of the Rent-E-Quip team was so kind, personable, professional and courteous. I highly recommend using them. -

At about 65 days out we realized that our wedding would not be possible at our first venue due to COVID so we made a change to a new venue which required us to bring in a tent, linens, tables, chairs, and flatware. Our caterer reccomended Rent-E-Quip and we are so glad they did. Warren came and insured our tent would fit and helped us plan out the event. David was so helpful and knowledgeable when we went in to meet with them on flatware and linens. In addition the staff that delivered the rentals was so respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great selection and really take the time to make sure your vision comes through with their rentals. -

I planned our wedding from across the country. It was so easy to work with Rent-E-Quip. They were very responsive via email, met with us the one time we were in town before our wedding, and were flexible when plans changed. Most brides don't realize in advance that having a rain plan can require a hefty deposit (up to 50% non-refundable, even if you don't need the tent)! Rent-E-Quip had a much better rain plan with a lower deposit. We ended up going with a clear tent, and it was gorgeous. They also returned on the day-of to remove some side-walls for us. Overall a great experience with high quality items. -

I would hire Rent-E-Quip again in a heartbeat! We were essentially planning a 155-person wedding on a big grass field and knew we needed the best in the business to help us get it right. From day one, everyone at Rent-E-Quip was professional, responsive, very knowledgeable (not only about tents, tables, linens, chairs, etc., but also about our venue and other vendors' needs), helpful, and easy to work with. They worked with us to create the perfect event layout and choose from their extensive inventory to bring our vision to life. At the end of the day when you need to rent everything to make a venue, it comes down to what has everything you can need, a great selection, for the best pricing and REQ is the answer. There has NEVER been any incident where they have left me disappointed. A few weeks ago we did another wedding reception together. It was a complicated event. It was in a field at a private residence and had a large amount of linens, lighting, rentals, generators, fans, etc. Rent-E-Quip went above and BEYOND to give our clients incredible customer service and I was just enamored by their level of detail and extremely accommodating customer service. Their entire team was involved in this job and they. KNOCKED. IT. OUT. OF. THE. PARK. -

So glad we chose Rent-E-Quip!
I received estimates on tenting from three or four companies, and though Rent-E-Quip was the most expensive (especially because of the distance they traveled for delivery) we decided to go with them because they seemed the most responsive and professional. That first impression was absolutely correct and I'd gladly pay a bit more all over again for such a great experience working with this company.
Tenting -- because we were a very tiny ceremony, we opted for a size & set-up that was abnormal at our venue (Rent-E-Quip was a preferred vendor so they had lots of experience with our venue). Their willingness to be flexible when setting it up according to our blue print made life easy. The clear tent (instead of the standard white tent) was worth the upcharge as well.
Lighting -- the one hiccup was that they nearly didn't set up half of the lights we paid for because the instructions in the comments didn't mention them being in one part of the venue, although the line item on the contract did. Fortunately I live close by and had planned to come to the venue as they set up just to make sure the tent set-up went according to plan (since it was going to be different than their usual routine at our venue). Once I pointed that out they just grabbed more lights and strung them up, too. The gentleman in charge that day was super patient as we discussed the different ways the lights could be strung up, and they looked fantastic.
Linens & Serving Ware -- David invited me to drive to their physical location to check out all the options; he spent about an hour with me, pulling out various fabrics to see against the table runners that we brought, and setting up faux plate settings based on a number of combinations. David was super responsive as we changed a few styles & counts along the way, and never made me feel that my indecisiveness or questions were a bother.

I spent a good amount of time choosing linens, plates, glasses, etc. for my daughter's wedding. David was so knowledgeable and even allowed us to take samples to the venue to make sure it was a good choice. Unfortunately the wedding got postponed so many times that we did not get to use their services. They have a wide variety of all things wedding and I would recommend them to anyone. -

I'm very thankful for all the assistance REQ provided, as our 3 inches of rain weren't exactly what we planned for!
