The best in the business
Reg and Kala are two amazing people. They are so fun to work with, and they make sure you are comfortable behind the camera. They know the business like the back of their hands and are willing to help you any way they can. Plus their photos are phenomenal. Highly recommend. -

WHOAAAA! Where do I even begin, Reg and Kala are a dream and made my dream day even more magical! I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that I chose this team to capture my perfect day! I have known for a long time that I wanted Reg and Kala to photograph my wedding day! I have always been very pleased with our family Christmas photos and I love the fact that this is a Husband and Wife team. I knew I wanted a double team company and with them being husband and wife made my husband and myself feel at ease! The biggest selling factor was my husband and I are very camera shy and awkward.. Reg and Kala made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement photos and our wedding day! Since our engagement photo session with Reg and Kala, I have been recommending them to everyone! It was a wonderful feeling to leave our engagement session, especially our wedding day feeling like we were all friends instead of someone we booked to shoot our wedding day that we will never talk to again! A++ all around! -

Reg and Kala are such sweet and kind people! My fiancé and I worked with them for our engagement session and we're so happy that we did. We're not originally from North Carolina, but love the coast, and our wedding reception will be at a hotel/marina in New York. When we communicated with them about a potential site to shoot at, they suggested Fort Fisher, NC, to tie in the beachy/nautical vibe. We had never been there, but were eager to be by the coast again. Once we arrived, we were in love with the location and so happy they suggested it!
Reg and Kala were so easy to work with and guided us on poses and helped us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! They took us to some fantastic locations that emphasized the natural beauty of the area and that provided amazing backdrops to the photos. The sneak peak photo we received just 4 days after the shoot was stunning, and I'm so excited to see the rest! (It's been less than a week since the shoot, so we've just seen the sneak peak, but I'm already obsessed with the one photo they've posted!)

The warm and all encompassing smiles that they posses let you know they’re not only truly happy you chose them but they’re going to do everything in their power to make your day, your dream and your emotions perfectly captured in each photo.

Kala and Reggie are the bees knees!
For a couple that doesn’t feel very natural behind a camera, Kala and Reggie made us look and feel incredibly comfortable. Having two photographers gives the opportunity for multiple angles/ perspectives and allows for every bit of your special day to be captured. They go above and beyond in meeting their couples needs and are quite efficient. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them! -

While Reg and Kala were very friendly on the phone and told me with confidence how experienced they were shooting at my venue, I was not pleased with the finished product. Most of all, I felt rushed throughout pictures, despite NOT having a bridal party. During the initial conversation (prior to purchasing), Reg and Kala told me they'd send a list before the ceremony so I could add which shots I wanted - this never arrived and when I mentioned taking pictures with extended family the day of, the request was ignored. Pictures with my immediate family were taken against a wall even though I had a beautiful arch, florals, and my venue had a view. It seemed we took pictures in a corner because it was the quickest and most convenient.
We had a beautiful sunset while taking pictures, but this was not captured in any of the photos. When we got pictures back, Reg and Kala let me know they are "people centered photographers" so aimed to get us in the best light versus the background. Understood; however, it would have been nice to have a few with the stunning background.
Lastly, Reg and Kala asked that we move to our faux exit during cake so they could leave. Unfortunately, this meant many guests put their cake down and catering threw their cake away before the got back. I do not understand the rush, especially since we had signed contracts that we would pay if we went over time.
Overall, I did have some good pictures, but did not feel the level of service provide was commensurate with the cost and quality I was promised.
