Highly suggest Red Barn!

Red Barn did a perfect job during our wedding day photo shoots! Throughout the day they were perfectly punctual, kept the flow going efficiently and were a fun nice bunch to share the day with. Bogdan and his team got great shots and we appreciated how if a photogenic moment came up, they knew when to capitalize on it. Truly pleased with their work!

Picture Perfect!

Red Barn was awesome to work with. The process was so easy, and they understood exactly what we were looking for. They even went out of their way to get us a second photographer when I asked (very last minute). Get two photographers, you wont regret it! The pictures are stunning, I have no idea how we are going to choose. I love that family and friends also have easy access to our album and they can get the photos they love the most! I can't recommend Red Barn enough!

Red Barn Wedding Photography

Red Barn Photography was absolutely amazing! They were so organized leading up to the wedding and truly cared about all of my wants on wedding day. I was able to fill out a questionnaire before the wedding that allowed me to describe what kinds of pictures I wanted on the day and what groups of people I for sure wanted pictures with. On wedding day, they were so efficient and showed up on time. They also made sure to pull me for pictures at sunset just like I had asked when I even forgot about it! They blended in so well at the reception too. They made the most beautiful videos of my day, I especially love my highlight video. They asked me what music I wanted and they included everything! I couldn't recommend them enough!

Amazed at the service and talent

We absolutely loved our photographer Maks on the day of our wedding from the moment we met him. His energy with us and the guests and eye for a shot was truly a talent. As expected, the pictures turned out absolutely perfect. We really couldn’t be any happier. The communication, planning, appointments and timeline the owners provided prior to the big day was professional, organized and they really made the process seamless. Experienced team

Working with Red Barn Studio was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, everything was clear and transparent—packages and pricing were outlined in detail, which made the booking process stress-free. Elena was incredibly thorough in explaining the time frame needed for each part of the wedding day. As a bride, I can’t express how thankful I am that we followed her initial recommendations—everything flowed so smoothly because of it.

She helped us create a realistic and well-paced timeline that allowed for both candid and posed moments without ever feeling rushed. On the day itself, the team was calm, professional, and truly felt like an extension of our celebration. They captured everything so beautifully, and looking back at the photos, I’m amazed at how many little moments were preserved. I felt completely at ease in front of the camera thanks to their guidance and warm energy. We had two photographers - Bogdan and Elena - and one videographer.

Absolutely Recommend!

Red Barn is such a pleasure to work with. They did such an incredible job helping us run through things in the days leading up to our wedding and the day of everything ran so smoothly. Amazing photographers

We got married on October 19th 2024 and I have waited to write this review until we received our wedding photos so I was able to showcase the STUNNING photos that were captured. Words can not describe how amazing Red Barn is! Our wedding photos came out SO beautifully and we have received so many compliments. Elena was extremely helpful during the planning process. For our wedding day, we worked with Maks and Johnny and they were absolutely spectacular. Their artistry was TOP NOTCH! Even our wedding guests were commenting on how amazing the photographers were. I would recommend Red Barn for all future brides!!

Beautiful photos and easy to work with

Red Barn was great to work with. We had a nice package with photo, video, and photo booth, plus engagement photos, for a reasonable price. There were a few issues with the photo booth at the beginning of the reception, but they were able to resolve the problem and kept us posted without taking up too much attention on our day. The photos and videos are beautiful, and both were delivered ahead of the contractual deadlines. Bogdan and Elena were great to work with from planning through day of through communicating after the wedding.

Wedding photo/video

All I can say is WOW! We had Elena and Bogdan as our photographers, as well as a videographer. They were so professional, and worked their butts off to get amazing shots from beginning to end. We had a huge wedding and despite the crowd they still managed to get phenomenal shots! My husband hates taking photos, but they made it easy, and put up with our busy day and giant wedding party with ease. I really love the photos, they mean so much to me as these photos will last a life time of one of our most important days. I will be recommending them to my family and friends in the future!

Red Barn Studio is the best ! Bogdan's creativity shines through in every image. Whether it was the way he framed a shot or played with lighting, he managed to create breathtaking images. His friendly approach and genuine personality made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Bogdan also covered my sister's wedding a few years back and my family got excited to work with him again on such a special occasion. Incredible service

If I could give 10 stars in each category, I would. The folks at Red Barn Studios are not only excellent at their craft, but they are total professionals from the lead photographer to the photobooth attendant. We left an extensive amount of time in between the time Bogdan (Red Barn photographer) showed up to our getting ready location and when our hair and makeup was supposed to be finished. Due to an issue with another vendor we still ran behind and Bogdan walked into total chaos at our getting ready location. He handled everything so well even we weren’t ready yet. He dove right into the detail shots and got things rolling. He made the timeline run as smoothly as possible given the huge chunk of time that was lost due to an issue with another vendor. Bogdan and the team made up for some of the lost photo opportunities at the getting ready location by getting some portraits of me at our venue, which I greatly appreciated and cannot wait to see. The videographer was consistently looking out for sentimental and fun shots and used his watchful eye to capture some really wonderful moments. The photobooth attendant was patient and so kind. The book turned out great! We are so incredibly excited to see our photos and videos from the day and cannot wait to share them!

We booked Red Barn for photo and video services for our wedding in July. Our package also included an engagement photoshoot. We could not be more pleased with their services. From start to finish, Elena and her crew were very helpful in answering our questions, were attentive to our needs, and made sure they were capturing all the details we wanted for our wedding day. They work together so well and really kept our wedding day running smoothly. On top of their amazing work, they got us all of our photos and videos at least 3 weeks before their anticipated product delivery date. 10/10 would recommend!!

Highly Recommend!

We chose a package with Red Barn that included engagement photos and wedding photography/videography. It was always a pleasant experience working with Bogdan, Elena & their team leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Great communication and guidance throughout the process. Amazing Experience

Max and Elena made such a great team together and we absolutely loved having them as our photographers. They were timely and did such a great job helping us and our bridal party pose for photos. They kept us on track. We love ALL the photos that we got back from them.

More memories than I remember

We were absolutely blown away by Red Barn and what they were able to provide us on our special day. The engagement shoot was a one hour preview of how amazing the wedding itself would be. Over 100 images in that session alone. The wedding itself gave us more images and video than either of us could have possibly remembered on our own. You are probably looking at a ton of photographers and other vendors right now, Red Barn is an amazing choice to make, we highly recommend it.

Stunning photography and an experience of a lifetime

I HIGHLY recommend Red Barn Studio for wedding photography. Ever since I first spoke to Elena 9 months before my wedding date, I knew I was in the best of hands. She and her team have so much experience doing weddings and she clearly articulated what I can expect on the wedding day. We had Maks do our engagement photos and I immediately contacted Elena and said I wanted him to also do our wedding. Not only were the photos INCREDIBLE, but Maks made the experience so much fun. He had us laughing the entire time which put me at ease-- and the photos showed that! The day of my wedding couldn't have been more flawless. Elena called me numerous times the weeks before just to check in and confirm the details. On the day of, the photographers were there on time with a big smile on their faces. Every single one of my bridesmaids had the best time working with Maks and team from the moment he stepped into the bridal suite. Part of the reason I was so calm and having so much fun before the ceremony was because of the photography team!!! They truly have a unique eye for stunning locations, they guided me along the way and showed me how to pose, they kept me laughing, and they even went above and beyond during the ceremony to make sure I looked my best all day. They helped me bustle my dress, they fluffed my train, they straightened my veil, and they even protected me from guests who were trying to pose next to me with red wine in hand! All of this attention to the little details led to the most incredible photos I have ever seen. If I had to do this all over again, I would pick Red Barn Studio every single time. I can't thank them enough for providing not only exceptional photos, but an exceptionally fun experience along the way. I will be reaching out to them again for all of my professional photography needs.

Perfect Team

We loved working with Red Barn Studio. We got a package that included photography and videography, plus engagement session and photobooth. AMAZING! My wedding photos are my most prized possessions!

I had such an amazing experience with Red Barn Studio throughout the entire wedding planning process! Bogdan and Elena went above and beyond to help along the planning process in creating our wedding timeline, and were patient when we insisted that our pup take part in our photos and in working with our large wedding party. They were incredibly responsive along the planning process, and also helped us in creating our timeline of the day; they're clearly so knowledgeable about what makes a perfect wedding that having them as a resource was so helpful. Above and beyond!

Elena, Bogdan, Marius, and Gabriel are amazing at Red Barn! My husband and I are so happy we found them at a wedding expo. We booked them immediately and they shot our engagement and wedding photos! Elena and Bogdan were friendly, courteous, and organized from the beginning of our planning process. During our engagement photos, Bogdan made the experience fun and made us feel comfortable. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding. Elena was very flexible and patient with us. She was accommodating and made sure our wedding could be rescheduled. During our pre-wedding consultation, Bogdan and Elena explained everything perfectly and the plans were very thorough. On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly. Bogdan, Marius, and Gabriel not only stayed on schedule but were kind, funny, kept us calm, and made our whole wedding party feel comfortable for our photos. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the pictures are breathtaking! We are looking forward to getting the video back!

So amazing

So happy with my decision to hire Red Barn. I am so so pleased with our photo’s and our entire experience from start to finish. I was completely sticker shocked by the recommendations I received from friends for photographers. Disappointed in the studio photographers (lottery ticket on the day of). I decided to research on my own when I stumbled upon Red Barn. I went to the studio to meet them and hired them right away! We had no idea we would be planning a wedding during the worst time of a pandemic and they could not have been more empathetic and understanding (believe me we had ALOT of stress and drama with other hired vendors). The day of the wedding they showed up on time and ready to work. We laughed, we cried, but most of all they captured all the beautiful moments of our special day. They are so fun to work with and our end results are absolutely wonderful. Hard working, fun loving, organized, talented, and budget friendly. What more can a bride ask for!?! My sister and sister-in law will also be using them for there up coming nuptials. Hire them while you can!!

Incredible!

Bogdan and Elena are such a FANTASTIC team! They are such a wonderful duo and it was an absolute pleasure to work with both of them. Elena was so great to coordinate with and Bogdan is SO talented! Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures blew all expectations out of the water! Bogdan captured the love me and my husband have for each other so well. We also decided to have a videographer - Bogdan and Elena brought in Sergio to do the videography and on the day of the wedding Bogdan and Sergio worked together seamlessly! It was so impressive to watch how insanely well they worked together - it was like each just knew what the other was thinking and the whole day was so smooth. During the struggles of Ms. Rona ;) Elena and Bogdan were extremely sympathetic, helpful, and worked hard to keep everyone safe. Fantastic photographer (especially during COVID!)

Red Barn Studio is the best!!!

Wedding planning is overwhelming no matter the size or budget. When we first contacted Red Barn Wedding Studio, we were in the midst of moving out of state. It has been a dream to work with their team throughout the process from out of state. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. My husband and I are pretty awkward when it comes to pictures, but they had the utmost patience with us and offered coaching along the way.

Red Barn team also made us the most lovely photo book; we would have never been able to put together something so special. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! Two words...book now! Bogdan is the best, from the moment that we first met him we know that we had found someone special and we did not hesitate to book him for our wedding. Bogdan was so great on our big day. If you are looking for an easy going, professional, and insanely talented wedding photographer, then look no further, Bogdan is amazing. Not only did my wedding and engagement photos turn out absolutely amazing, but he made this process so unbelievably easy and relaxed.

On the day of our wedding Bogdan and his team were beyond of our expectations, punctual, detail oriented, easy going, organized, and authentic. They kept everything on track, and they were careful to ensure that all of the shots and details of our day were captured.

My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera, but they made it totally painless.

Amazing experience!!

We found Red Barn Studio after searching through listings of local photographers and videographers. After going on their website, looking at photos and watching videos we knew that we had to reach out to them to see if they were available for our wedding. We met with Elena at their studio and were impressed with their work. We booked them immediately and we were so excited. Our photographer for the engagement session and wedding was Bogdan. He is awesome and a very talented photographer. Our engagement session pictures were STUNNING! Our second photographer, Elena, captured my husband and his family getting ready, some of my favorite photos! The pictures are beautiful and we are currently choosing our photos for the albums and prints. With over 1000 gorgeous pictures to choose from, it's going to take us a while!
We highly recommend Red Barn Studio. They offer amazing value, professionalism (all of our emails and calls were always responded to immediately), their staff is talented and enjoyable to work with and their work is high quality. Another big plus is that once you receive your pictures and videos, they are yours, no copyright protection and you can share your photos with friends and relatives without breaking the bank ordering prints.

I can't thank the Red Barn Studio enough! My photos came out awesome. I am so happy with them. Choosing a photographer and videographer was a hard choice for me because I live in Florida and had the wedding in Chicago. Elena was very accommodating with meeting me when I was up in Chicago planning everything. The photographers are great, they know what they are doing! Bogdan made me feel very at ease. Red Barn Studio was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding and I say that after going through all the reviews for vendors on wedding websites. The photos turned out beyond what we ever expected. My goal was to have 2-3 good photos and what we received were so many great pictures, it's hard to choose which one is our favorite! Beyond the photos, they made me feel absolutely at ease on the day of our wedding. They perfectly capture a beautiful day with the people we love the most, and for that we are forever grateful. Red Barn Wedding Studio is terrific!!!! I got married on 9/13/2019 and just received my pictures. I was so overwhelmed with how each one was even better then next.
Elena took time with me to understand my needs and she was so helpful with coordinating my day perfectly .
Bogdan was our photographer and we loved him !!!! He made our day special and my family enjoyed him as well. He is extremely talented and all the shots he took are OUTSTANDING.
I would highly recommend if you want amazing photos of your day . Thank you Elena and Bogdan as you made our day special with beautiful photos we will have forever .

I came across Red Barn team at a bridal fair and immediately noticed the exceptional quality of their photos and video. Their work stood out from everyone else. After our engagement shoot, I couldn’t wait for our wedding! The team at our wedding was wonderful, taking time to get all the shots we wanted, and much more. We got a sneak peek of the photos within a few days and they were beautiful. Once we got our video and highlight reel, we were again amazed at the vision and cinematic quality of work. Above and beyond my expectations.

I can't say enough about Red Barn Studio team. They were everything we could have imagined, and more. I loved all of the natural pictures they caught. We were able to get all of our traditional posed family/friend pictures and also enjoy a ton of fun, natural photos of us. This team went above and beyond my expectations. I didn't have a wedding planner and Elena even went as far as getting a time line together for me to plan when everyone needed to arrive and where to go, it was amazing. OMG... working with Red Barn Studio was amazing! Our meetings with Elena were always wonderfully pleasant!! We had our wedding and engagement photos taken by Bogdan. Great experience

Bogdan and his crew did the photographs and video for our wedding. He was so easy to work with! Super laid back personality and made everything so easy for us on our big day down to every last detail including fluffing my dress and fixing my veil before all of our pictures. They got all of the shots that we wanted and then some. Our pictures and video came out absolutely beautiful and all pricing very reasonable. Highly recommend Red Barn Studio. We seriously had the dream team for our Wedding

We found Red Barn Studio through the Wedding Wire and from my first meeting with them; Elena’s knowledge, professionalism and friendliness made me feel so comfortable in making my decision to choose them for one of the most important days of my life. I really enjoyed working with them for my wedding! I found them very reliable, responsive, and organized. Our photographer, Bogdan, was very flexible in that he drove to 4 different sites on our wedding day. He was also very friendly and helpful at herding our large family into all the essential group poses. I wanted a variety of posed, candid, and "detail" shots, which Bogdan did a fantastic job at. Brides and grooms search no more, Bogdan can make super nice photos- and I am a picky costumer; if you want journalistic photography or more formal he can help with ideas, but he also makes sure you are comfortable and the day floats smoothly. Bogdan is an amazing photographer, took literally thousands of pictures that all came out great. He was wonderful to our guests. Bogdan went well above to make our day special, even came to the event early to "scope out the place" to get more ideas for pictures. He was so much fun, and a hard worker. He keept things organized and flowing, and took all the stress off of us. He created so many beatiful photos and made taking pictures enjoyable and fun. I found an amazing deal on wedding wire and decided to hire Wedding Chicago Pro to take our engagement photos. We gave them a location and they just ran with it. Our photographer Bogdan was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He guided my fiance and I through the photos ( we typically have a hard time posing for the camera)... Not only did he know what he was doing, he was very nice and personable. I would certainly recommend his services to any bride in the Chicago area. I can't wait to get my CD after viewing the pictures online!!

Amazing photo and video experience for our wedding day!

Bogdan, Anton, and Johnny-Florian were AMAZING to work with. Bogdan, the lead photographer made sure to snatch us for photos whenever he saw a great opportunity. We really appreciate this as we believe our photos are the most important part of our wedding day. Bogdan was also very efficient and direct, making sure that all photo opportunities and requests were completed in a timely manner. He was so fun to work with, too! Anton (videographer) was very fun, and he has a positive attitude the entire day. He was alongside the photographers the entire day, making sure to catch all the special moments on video. We cannot wait to see our wedding video. Johnny-Florian didn’t even seem like a secondary photographer as he led a lot of the photo moments! He was right alongside Bogdan and even had his own ideas for poses and locations around the venue. He was very easy and fun to work with, and he even showed my husband how to properly dip me for a photo and during dancing. :) Finally, Elena worked hard behind the scenes via email, phone call, and video chat to set up our engagement photo session, direct our payments, and assist in creating a schedule for our wedding day. I highly recommend Red Barn Wedding Studio for anyone looking for a wedding photography/videography business in the greater Chicagoland area.

Awesome Experience

Elena and Maks were absolutely amazing. We had a great experience with them at both our engagement photo shoot and the day of the wedding. Elena and Bogan were amazing! They were always quick to answer any questions and request we had. They were very knowledgeable on their work and how to pose you. I’m awkward and the photos turned out amazing. Our photos were slightly rushed due to potential rain but they were just looking out for us- which was appreciated. There was a small miscommunication on when our wedding photos would be back to us but that didn’t even matter when we got to see our beautiful gallery. The online gallery makes it best to share and access your photos. Only thing I’d recommend is to make sure you have a list for family photos- we didn’t and missed a few that we would have liked to have. (Maybe make it something they need to turn in before the wedding day). The videographer was also amazing! He got what he needed and anything we asked as well. I’d 100% recommend Red Barn!

Wedding photos

I would highly recommend Red Barn to any future couples. The staff was very friendly from day one & we got our photos back a couple weeks sooner than expected. We’re still waiting on the video, but so far we have been very happy with how our photos! We chose the package that includes photos, video, & the Photo Booth for our guests to enjoy.
