  Truly Unique & Beautiful Wedding Gowns

  We had a wonderful experience at Rebecca Schoneveld Bridal picking out my daughter's gown for her October 2023 wedding. I found Rebecca's shop on Google and, after reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. My daughter also had visits at some of the larger bridal shops in the NY area, but nothing matched what we found at Rebecca Schoneveld. Rose, who assisted during our fittings, was so fantastic -- she treated by daughter like a queen. We picked out the Jasper, a beautiful boho gown made of Italian lace. My daughter fell in love with the really unique design, the fit, and she says the dress is so comfortable to wear! It is absolutely gorgeous and we love that it's so different from anything we'd seen. Rebecca brought the dress out to my daughter when her gown came in (made to her custom measurements) and she assisted with the try-on and made recommendations on shoes and jewelry. It was so special for my daughter. If you want something truly different, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully designed, you need to go to Rebecca Schoneveld Bridal!! It's been the best experience of our wedding planning.

  Amazing memory

  Wonderful studio, the studio Manager, Rose is so organized and helpful, Rebecca is incredible to work with, as they helped us create a vision to redesign my wedding dress for my daughter. Can't say enough good things.

  This bridal shop is an absolute hidden gem in Brooklyn. I looked over their Instagram and website and immediately fell in love. I booked my appointment online for an initial bridal consultation. After having a horrible experience at a prior shop, I was pretty discouraged. As I walked in and met my sister (my maid of honor) I saw that the shop was intimate and small. There was only one other bride there that was being helped. I loved it already. If you want a place that's going to give you their undivided attention, Schone Bridal is the place to be. Jaclyn was AWESOME. Greeted me with such kindness. Had me sit down and asked me a few questions of what I'm looking for and what my budget was. She took me around the store and selected a few dresses. She helped me try on every single one but by the second dress I knew I had found what I was looking for!! Coincidentally, the dress I chose just happened to be the one Jaclyn designed herself!! She was so helpful in answering all of my questions and attending to my every need. Like I said, this place is a gem. Not a huge selection of dresses but definitely a wide variety of styles. The girls here are so sweet and made my experience one to remember. I'm so glad I came!!!

  My legit Fairy Godmother

  I came from Ohio to NYC to find my perfect wedding dress. After trying on dozens I began to lose hope. On a whim, my mother and I decided to venture to Rebecca's shop in Brooklyn. I fell in love with her Alexandra grown, but I envisioned my gown with some extra special details. Rebecca made my dreams into a reality. We changed the thread of the dress to an ethereal silver and added meaningful details into the embroidery, including our star signs and honey bees (my husband works for NASA and my name means honeybee in Greek). Rebecca and I worked together to create a custom cape, which added a nontraditional element to the classic gown, creating the perfect balance. Rebecca was so much fun to work with, I feel like I made a new friend as she made my dream dress!

  I love the ability to mix and match pieces to create something perfect!   Rebecca and her team made me the best wedding dress I could imagine. I tried on and loved the Milla dress and Rebecca worked with me to make a few custom changes to the fabric and the way the skirt was cut. The whole process was easy and the end result was stunning.

  I purchased my dress from Rebecca Schoneveld for my May 15 wedding. LOVE THEM!!!! GO THERE!!! Really cannot recommend this place enough. From start to finish she and her staff were wonderful to work with, and their prices are very good. Shopping is fun because, while there are plenty of samples of dresses to try on, there are also a whoooole bunch of separates samples - i.e. all the different styles of tops they make, and all the different styles of skirts. So you can mix and match, and then pick a dress to be made of whatever combinations you love together. This is what I ended up doing. The styles are beautiful, modern & romantic. There's no creepy saccharine sales pitch like at other salons, so shopping feels much less stressful (though it's still a lovely space and you get lots of individual attention). Purchasing the dress, paying the deposit, and setting up fittings was easy-peasy and all communication was friendly and professional. Even when I had a bit of a snag they handled it with grace. At my second fitting something was not quite right, and I only realized it after going home and thinking and looking at earlier photos. I reached out to them, they made time for me to come right back in, reworked everything that needed it, and were completely understanding and gracious about the whole thing, even when I was kind of stressing out (& also did not charge me for all the hours of alterations in consideration of this). You know you're in good hands when the designer herself is pinning the dress for you and suggesting changes. Also, the alterations were very reasonable, price-wise. I can't say enough how impressed I was by the way they handled the whole process, and of course, I loved loved loved the dress I ended up with!!! It was beautiful, just what I had been looking for, I could dance all night long, & the look was so on-point that lots of my friends even asked if it was vintage! love them, go here.

  I love Rebecca!! Her dresses are gorgeous - to look at and to wear! Her quality is impeccable. I only had to try on 3 dresses there to know that I had found the one, and then Rebecca was happy to work with me on a few custom changes.
  
  Her dresses aren't fussy, they are beautifully intricate and detailed, but you don't feel like a "cupcake bride". I felt like the best version of myself in my dress, and I was so comfortable as well. Lots of dancing for me! My friends and guests were in awe of the dress and my husband was a HUGE fan too.
  
  Working with Rebecca and the team before the wedding was so easy and non stressful. The fittings went well and the dress in the end fit perfectly after only 2 fittings.

  I never expected to have that "this is the one" moment when I set out to find my wedding dress. With each dress I tried on - there always seemed to something that didn't feel completely right. That all changed when I walked into Rebecca Schoneveld's adorable Brooklyn studio. I was able to create a custom dress with all the components I had envisioned! I fell in love… with the dress, with Rebecca and her talented team. The entire process was wonderful and I was able to get married in a beautiful piece that felt so me. I couldn't have been happier!

  Rebecca is great. I wanted something a little atypical - blush, long sleeved, and tea length and Rebecca was the only one who could deliver without breaking the bank. She has fully designed gowns (which are totally beautiful) and a mix and match section which is a little less expensive and gave me the opportunity to make exactly what I wanted!
  
  Rebecca totally delivered, my dress was beautiful, fit amazingly, and was exactly what I wanted! Rebecca does a lot of a hint of color in addition to normal cream/ivory options (i.e. blush or a hint of blue). Everything was so perfect! Day of the dress held up well, still looks flawless. She even gave me ideas of how to dye it to be able to reuse as something other than a wedding dress. Amazing :)

  Rebecca is the best wedding dressmaker if you want an intimate couture experience. I had such a lovely experience going to her studio, picking out the dress, coming in for multiple alterations. She spends time with you and lets you know exactly what the dress should, how it should look on you. She will make you stunning. She is patient, accommodating, and listens.
  
  I also had so many amazing comments on the dress the Rebecca made for me. She really has amazing style. I wore the Rosaline in Cream.

  Rebecca's dresses are breathtakingly beautiful and super high-quality. Compared to what you could spend on a dress in the NYC-area, she creates such value for money and is so willing to cater to your tastes. Her designs are thoughtful, unique and so romantic. And it is so amazing to be able to meet the designer of your dress and have her there when you pick it out and try it on. I looked in many other boutiques and shops in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and BY FAR hers was the best on quality, design, price and personal connection. I cannot recommend it enough

Compared to what you could spend on a dress in the NYC-area, she creates such value for money and is so willing to cater to your tastes. Her designs are thoughtful, unique and so romantic. And it is so amazing to be able to meet the designer of your dress and have her there when you pick it out and try it on. I looked in many other boutiques and shops in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and BY FAR hers was the best on quality, design, price and personal connection. I cannot recommend it enough

  Rebecca was absolutely amazing to work with! I just can not say enough good things about my experience with her. On the day I found the dress I was (of course) with eight of my closest girlfriends and my mother, and Rebecca worked with me to customize a beautiful dress based on a quick conversation of what I was looking for. Being in the fashion industry myself, I can truly attest to her phenomenal craftsmanship at an amazing price point! Beyond all of her help to customize the dress with me, it was shipped to me early and I had almost no alterations to make (just bringing in the bust 1/2"!). I would absolutely send any bride that wants to have a unique and beyond beautiful dress her way!

  Rebecca and her team provided only the best service. They helped me find the dress that was just right for me and then raised the neckline, hemmed the bottom, and bustled the train for a very reasonable price. They even put me in touch with a veil maker who custom designed a veil with lace trim that matched the lace trim on my dress. Thanks Rebecca!

  From the very beginning Rebecca was beyond accommodating. She answered my emails within minutes, and I was able to schedule an appointment with her on a Sunday. Rebecca gives each bride the opportunity to customize her own creation. Although she has many fully assembled and complete dresses, she also has individual dress “tops” and dress “skirts” that can be combined for a custom creation. You can mix and match to your heart’s content. All of Rebecca’s dresses were so beautiful that I wasn’t able to make a decision within the three hours that I was in her shop. However, I knew that I had to have one of her dresses, so I arranged to come back in a few months.
  
  When I returned there was a whole new set of dresses to try on. During this trip I worked with Thea Bloch-Neal who designs and makes hand crafted bridal accessories. Thea made me feel like such a princess, and helped me jump quickly from one dress to another. When I finally selected a dress, I wanted to make a few changes to it so that it would be completely my own. I changed the material from a Chantilly lace to a gold lace, the color of the silk lining, and made some structural changes around the hips. Rebecca addressed all of the changes, and was incredibly accommodating.
  
  When I traveled back to Brooklyn my dress was absolutely perfect. I could not have been happier. Rebecca and Thea let me stay around and try on countless accessories with my dress. They helped me pick the items that best complimented it so that I could have the perfect wedding day look. I was incredibly sad when my experience at the shop ended. Everyone there was a wonderful person, and I wanted the experience to go on forever.

  Rebecca made a custom lace top for me to wear over my strapless dress at my wedding. Originally I had just thought to wear it for the ceremony, but it was so gorgeous I decided to keep it on for the reception. Rebecca was great and really flexible. So lucky I found her!
