Rebecca and Jonathan are amazing! We love our wedding photos!

My wife and I can’t stop talking about how much we adore Rebecca and Johnathan. We’re beyond satisfied with our wedding photography experience.

We got married on Nantucket at The White Elephant on 10/22/23. We planned our wedding for about 1 year. We knew that the photography was going to be one of the most critical details to focus on, and that’s where we devoted our attention very early in our planning. When looking at the local Nantucket photographers, as well as the Boston area photographers, we started to get a sense for each of their “styles”. We found that the top rated photographers were all very good at what they did, but the differentiator came down to the vibe. That is, what are the stylistic qualities of their work, and how does that match with our own personalities?

We thought that Rebecca and Jonathan’s work exemplified “elegant playfulness”, and that fits with my wife and my personality perfectly. It can be like threading a needle with photos, though. Too much “elegance” and the photos can look too stiff and one dimensional. Too much “playfulness” and the photos can look like a Saturday Night Live sketch. We wanted the finished photos to show the black tie event and setting in the classy light it deserved, but we also wanted there to be elements of fun and a sense that everyone was relaxed and having an amazing time.

Rebecca and Jonathan are incredibly talented, and the finished products FAR exceeded even our highest expectations. And what makes it even more special is that they’re just plain amazingly nice and so easy to get along with!

Simply the Best!

Having Rebecca and Jon as our wedding photographers was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! From the moment we started speaking to Rebecca, we knew that we wanted to work with her and Jon. They are two of the kindest, warmest, and most approachable people, making the process of planning and the day of our wedding feel so relaxed and seamless. Every session we had with Rebecca and Rebecca + Jon was magical! We did engagement photos, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding day and it was so special to have them there capturing these big moments so perfectly for us. We are so lucky to have found Rebecca Love Photography and will be eternally grateful for photographing such a special day (and the moments leading up) for us! 11/10 recommend working with these two!

The perfect photos from the perfect day!

Rebecca and Jon are truly the best. From start to finish our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding were absolutely perfect. Rebecca is not only one of the kindest people I've ever met but she is so thorough, smart and most importantly - a total rockstar when it comes to capturing ALL the moments.
We used Rebecca for our engagement shoot in June 2021- the projected rain came an hour early and I was so worried our pictures weren't going to come out good. Boy was I wrong. Rebecca assured me they would not only come up great, BUT the rain/darker sky actually makes for better photos! She totally calmed my nerves and made the entire shoot so fun.
The wedding was no different. Jon was with the men for most of the morning and Rebecca was with me and my gal pals. She was sure to capture every requested photo and so much more.
Between these three events I cannot tell you the amount of compliments
I cannot wait for our next event so we can use Rebecca Love Photography again. I would recommend this team to anyone 10/10 times!!!

AMAZING photographer and presence

Rebecca is simply amazing! Her photos speak for themselves - they are timeless and elegant and beautiful, so I will focus on the experience with her. She is one of the kindest humans you will ever meet, has a gentle and calming presence (the BEST for a wedding day!), and is flexible and helpful when and if anything arises. Her husband, Jon, is the very same! She has been that way since the first day we hired her, always wanting to help us with planning or anything we need. We had a surprise element of our day outside of the hours we’d hired her for and she jumped right in and made sure we had photos of it. I love her and would hire her many times over - I cannot wait to do sessions with her in many seasons of life!

The absolute best experience!

Rebecca and Jonathan were my dream photographers for my wedding! They were the first vendors I called after I got engaged
and it was the best decision I made!

The attention Rebecca and Jonathan give you before the wedding make you feel like you are their only wedding and I was so thankful for that!

Planning a wedding in the midst of Covid was a nightmare, but Rebecca’s constant reassurance and patience with my numerous phone calls made me so happy to have her involved with my special day!

Our wedding was in Vermont and they made a family vacation out of it. They came up a couple of days early and scouted the property, so when it came time for our wedding, they had amazing ideas for our pictures! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and Rebecca’s calming presence helped me feel at ease throughout the day.

They captured formal pictures and action shots that I will treasure forever and exceeded all my expectations.

I joke with my husband that I want to have another wedding because I miss Rebecca and Jonathan!! They were the absolute best!! I am most definitely going to call on them again in the future!

Most amazing photos we have ever seen

My husband and I can not say enough amazing things about Rebecca and her husband Jon! Last summer they photographed our engagement session on Nantucket and accommodated our needs and wants! Showed us all the amazing places to shoot at! Last weekend her and Jon came up to Beverly MA and shot our wedding! The pictures are unbelievable and brought a tear to our eye going through our amazing day! They even came up two days early to view the venue with us and see where amazing shots can take place! Can not say enough amazing things about them and can’t wait to use them in the future for our next big chapter!

Can’t speak highly enough of Rebecca and her husband Jonathan! We found Rebecca for our engagement photos in nantucket and loved her and the photos so much we booked her within days for our wedding in Vermont. She is so sweet, kind and warm that we couldn’t imagine how we could ever find a better person to spend literally 10 hrs with on our wedding day. She made us and our friends/family so happy and comfortable and the photos show it- were beaming, natural and relaxed in all the photos. She was so flexible and easy to plan with - our getting ready ran 30 mins late so we added a few portraits after our ceremony and it wasn’t an issue at all. Plus, we’ve gotten SO many previews so quickly after our wedding which everyone has loved.

My (new) husband and I are trying to brainstorm reasons we can work with Rebecca again in the near future because we had so much fun with her and Jonathan on our wedding. Booking them is the best vendor decision you can make for your wedding!

I was pretty hesitant to get engagement photos taken as my fiancee and I are not necessarily the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Rebecca made us feel so comfortable. She provided gentle direction which was SO helpful to us as we would have been rather lost without it. We were able to take some pictures with our puppy which are absolutely our favorite. Rebecca is kind, professional, easy-going, all out accommodating, and takes some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen! Nantucket is our family's second home and being able to take our engagement photos there was so exciting. If we were getting married on island, Rebecca would be my photographer of choice!!

Definitely Recommend Rebecca Love!!

Rebecca was fantastic! My friend was in a wedding that Rebecca had photographed and I loved how beautiful and natural the photos looked. When we got engaged I reached out to her and I am so glad we had her and her husband Jonathan capture our wedding! Rebecca was professional and on top of everything before the wedding- she gave us guidance on how to put together our wedding timeline and even called us a few days before just to make sure everything was all set and to see if we had any questions.

Rebecca and Jonathan were so sweet and friendly and made us feel calm on our wedding day. My husband and I hate taking photos, but Rebecca and Jonathan made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave us direction on how to pose. They were so efficient at taking photos that we ended up having enough time to go to two locations to take photos before cocktail hour started.

We saw some previews of our wedding and they looked amazing! We can’t wait to see all of the moments they captured!

Rebecca and her husband Jon were fantastic and we could not be happier to have chosen them as our wedding photographer! They were super laid back, made the experience fun and natural, and were so helpful (even going back to our house to get my shoes!). Rebecca was very prompt in replying to me whenever we had questions and our pictures were AMAZING! It was a super rainy day on Nantucket for our wedding but that didn't stop the location changes or perfect pictures. We are so happy with how everything turned out and could not recommend them more. PS. Rebecca also shot our engagement pictures on a cold and windy day on Nantucket and we absolutely loved those too!

Rebecca was fabulous! My boyfriend secretly hired her to capture his proposal and she did an amazing job. After taking pictures of the proposal we worked with her for hour or so doing an engagement photo session. She knew of all the best spots to take the pictures and they came out amazing! Couldnt be happier and would highly recommend her.

Rebecca took photos of my proposal to my beautiful fiancè out on Madaket beach. She was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the planning and correspondance of this special evening. She was quick to respond to e-mail and phone calls througout the week leading up to our big day. On the evening of the proposal Rebecca arrived at the beach early and ensured the lighting and the setting were absolutley perfect. She spent the hour with us shooting amazing photographs that ranged from the setting prior to the proposal, all the way up until I got down on one knee. She then took the time to set up and take some great photos of us after she said yes!! We will certainly be using Rebecca for our full engagement shoot in the future. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Rebecca, and will continue to reccomend her to all of our friends and family for any special event on Nantucket.

My husband and I had a fairly long engagement so I did a ton of research on photographers. I found Rebecca's website via online search and was immediately impressed by her photos.... beautiful, natural and luminous. After speaking with her on the telephone, I knew she was "the one." Rebecca is sweet and soft, but at the same time experienced and professional. This comes out in her photos, which are stunning and somehow capture the emotion and spirit of the moment. She also does a great job of integrating the surrounding nature in a subtle and artistic way.

Rebecca was very responsive and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding and provided great advice and information. She photographed our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and did a superb job with both. She works side-by-side with her husband, which adds a bit of romance to the perspective of the weekend. I liked knowing that her husband was with my future husband while she was getting ready with me :-)

Looking back, I am still so impressed with how Rebecca stayed calm and flexible when emotions were high. Our salon appointments ran late so I was in a bit of a frenzy when I arrived back at the house. Rebecca, thank goodness, was sweet and reassuring and provided gentle guidance about how we might proceed. Despite our timeline going to $hit, Rebecca was able to go with the flow and capture some incredible candids and portraits without taking time or attention away from what we were doing. Most importantly, she has a sense for what photos are really important to capture. Case-in-point, some of my favorite photos are the portrait shots I initially didn't want to take because I was freaking out about timing. She did them in 5 minutes and they are priceless. She has mastered this balance: providing direction while letting the day flow naturally.

I can't rave enough about Rebecca Love and would use her again in a heartbeat.

We looooved Rebecca!!! I just cannot say enough good things about this amazing photographer. We emailed her pretty last minute looking for an engagement photographer in Nantucket. She replied immediately and was so flexible about timing, location and dates. Rebecca made us feel comfortable right away. She gave us great direction on how to pose and the pictures could not have turned out any better. My fiancé knows Nantucket well but Rebecca had all of these secret magical spots that we would've never thought of. The turn around time was so fast as well. She sent us some sneak peeks a few hours after our shoot and we got all of the photos just a week later. We have gotten so so so many compliments on the photos and feel like she perfectly captured us as a couple. We know everyone will love her as much as we did.

Where do I even begin!? Rebecca and her husband are THE BEST...T H E B E S T ! ! ! Our pictures were not only stunning, they captured all of the most important wedding moments, as well as the little "in betweens", the smiles, happy tears, dance moves, all of it! There was not one moment our entire wedding day that these two were not on their feet, snapping away. Every time we look back at our album, we feel like we are right back on Nantucket at our wedding.

From start to finish, Rebecca was an absolute pleasure to work with, she made it so easy. She is thorough, reliable, punctual, super sweet, and keeps everything FUN! Rebecca and Jon are an amazing duo! My husband hates getting his picture taken and Rebecca and Jon captured the most precious shots for both our engagement session and our wedding. Not only were they so accommodating and easy to work with, but they were amazing with the 10 children we had in our wedding! To get 10 kids to listen to you AND smile is a true talent! I do not having enough glowing adjectives to describe Rebecca and Jonathan. Not only are they ridiculously talented at what they do, but they are also incredibly wonderful people. We've known Rebecca and Jon since they shot our surprise proposal in 2015, followed by our official engagement shoot in 2016 and most recently our wedding in Cape Cod a couple of weeks ago. Throughout the two years we were planning our wedding, Rebecca was constantly checking in with us--listening to all of our ideas and helping us put together a timeline for the day. On the day of, Rebecca and Jon arrived right on time, perfectly adjusting to all the crazy moving parts that come along with a hectic day. Rebecca was the perfect calming presence, wonderfully capturing organic moments between the bridal party as we all got ready without making anything feel forced or unnatural. Throughout the entirety of the wedding, my husband and I were constantly astounded by how on top of everything this incredible duo was. The second we saw a fun or spontaneous moment taking place during the cocktail hour or on the dance floor, they were already there to capture it before we could even blink an eye. The next morning before we left for our honeymoon, Rebecca sent over a preview booklet with some highlights from the wedding, and unsurprisingly they were absolutely SPECTACULAR. Not only did they get each and every shot we had requested, but they also took pictures of all of the small, beautiful details from our florist, coordinator and other amazing vendors throughout the day that we might otherwise have missed. Above all, they truly captured the feeling of the day, which is not easy to do and something we will both treasure forever. Thank you so much Rebecca and Jonathan, we were truly the luckiest bride and groom to have you as our photographers!

Rebecca and Jon could not have been a better fit as our photographers to capture our wedding day. Not only did they both listen, but they were also very careful to pay attention to silent cues and read a situation. They both have a calming way about them (which trust me you will want on your wedding day!) and their experience over the years has provided them with the tools they need to capture all of the best shots that a couple could want. I would use them again for another shoot in a heartbeat!

From day one (answering my call while on a ski vacation) to final delivery of photos (2 short weeks after the wedding) Rebecca (and Jon) was a pleasure to work with and very helpful and responsive! Rebecca was very aware of lighting and angles to capture both staged and candid moments. She scouted out multiple beautiful locations at the wedding venue and guided us when we needed it. I've had friends, family and strangers say her photos of our wedding could be in a magazine. The colors and spacing in our photos are bright and vibrant and I would recommend her to anyone.

My husband and I used Rebecca for both our engagement and wedding photos. First of all, she is a fabulous person and since she was spending the whole day with us, it was great that we genuinely liked her and her husband Jon who was there to help out. They were nice and fun and we are so glad we found them.
The turnaround time on the photos was also quicker than I'd ever heard. She had our engagement photos back to us within 1 week and our wedding photos in less than a month. The quality is great and we plan to go back annually and have photos done for some other reason (anniversary, kids, etc.) just because we had such a great experience.
Her costs are also well below the other vendors I spoke with. I don't think they'll stay that way for long, but for the value, we couldn't have done better. We highly recommend her!
