Accomodating & Professional!

We worked with Ingrid at Reata for our reception and farewell brunch. They are an easy choice for worry-free catering! They handled our rentals (from forks and napkins to a whole bar) and bartending as well as food services. There are several benefits to working with such an experienced caterer: 1. We could make guest count changes up to 3 days before our wedding. 2. We provided our own alcohol, and Reata was able to guide us on exactly what we needed for the bar 3. The food was outstanding. We did a buffet and it moved very quickly. 4. The delivery and set-up of brunch was fast and easy. I seriously can't believe what a great vendor they were for us. I would highly recommend using Reata for any catering needs you have for your wedding!

Book with them! You won't regret it!

Gosh, this was honestly a great and painless experience! Ingrid was so patient with all of the changes we made from start to finish. We had our wedding a few weeks ago during the COVID craziness, and everything kept changing daily. Ingrid, however, remained patient, professional, and kind. I appreciated her flexibility so much! The food was delicious, staff was well dressed and hard-working, everyone wore their mask the ENTIRE 5 hours, and overall everything went smoothly! Definitely recommend the Reata! They work with your budget and also offer other services that help make your day a little easier.

Delicious food and super helpful staff

My husband and I got married last summer, and Reata was one of our venue's approved caterers. We are so lucky they were!

Ingrid and team were so helpful and professional and easy to work with. They helped get the rentals we needed, too. I have a personal love of soft pretzels, and they even were able to set up a pretzel bar for our reception! The food was so delicious. I am probably the first bride who overate on her wedding. We got a ton of compliments on the food - especially the tamales and the passed hors d'oeuvres.

We could not have asked for a better caterer. Thank you, Ingrid and everyone there who helped make our day great!

Our guests could not stop raving about the Reata. Alexandra blew us away with every detail. She was wonderful throughout the entire process and answered any and all questions we had...which we had a lot! The chef was amazing he even created a special favor for our guests that was personal to my husband and I. The staff was also incredible the night of...they made sure we were taken care of in every aspect. All of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! Thank you to the Reata team!

Wow! You cannot go wrong with Reata. We used them to cater our reception. They are so great to work with, professional, organized, and quick to respond. Not to mention, their food is amazing! We had 200+ guests at are reception and received SO many compliments (during and after our wedding) on how great the food was. We also had them pass delicious appetizers around during cocktail hour. We also had their tamales as a part of dinner and it was so different and such a huge hit! Would hire Reata again in a heartbeat!!!

Misit and Ingrid were amazing. Misit helped us through our consultation, Ingrid was the manager for the day of the event. Everyone, literally every guest and vendor, complimented us on the food- especially the tamales and grits.
We had 1 request when preparing our menu- that everything be Gluten Free, due to some members of our family have celic disease. Reata was SO ACCOMMODATING and never made us feel like it was a hassle.
Not only was the quality outstanding, but they were extremely affordable- much more so than any 'wedding caterer' we spoke to. We will use Reata for any event we host in the future.

Could not have been more pleased with the Reata for our reception venue! The event staff were very accommodating and very quick to respond. It was a beautiful, unique location - all of our guests were floored. The food was fantastic (of course), the service was excellent, and we really didn't need to do a lot of decorating at all as the Reata's decor is already perfect.

Reata catered our rehearsal dinner and our reception! The food was delicious! I especially loved the tasting we had at the restaurant... We got to try everything!!! They were easy to work with and everything went perfect!!!

We rented the top rooftop for our wedding reception. The price at first seem high but when you realize you get a venue, food,cocktails, and wait staff all in one it is worth the price. the use of the done and patio allowed for a separate cocktail hour/dance floor and dinner space. The guest loved the food. The atmosphere is amazing. Nicole and event staff where amazing to work from our ititial contact to the day of the event. They answer all out questions and were very accommodating. Did I mention the food was great.

The Reata did a great job working with me and my now husband to plan the catering for our wedding. The food was excellent and the service was received leading up to the wedding was extremely professional and easy to work with. One of the things my husband and I did not want to skimp on was on food. We wanted to make sure guests had plenty of food that not only looked good but tasted good. We had several caterers fall through on us with pricing, not being available or just being really slow (we are talking a month here) to respond to our emails with regards to catering questions. Reata was by far the best choice we made with regards to catering not only for our reception but also for our cocktail hour. Folks had plenty to eat and they were even able to accommodate a children's menu which some caterers did not even provide. They also worked directly with the linen and china rental company so we only had to work with one vendor instead of multiple vendors. They really made things easy and seamless and worked really well with our wedding coordinator. Reata is the way to go if you want great food and service.

Reata was amazing! They fed and served 190 guests. The food was amazing. They also set up the tables, provided the servers and the bartenders. When we realized we were 200 forks short (a different company's error, not Reata), Ingrid got to work and had the rental company that she uses, drive 200 forks to the venue at the last minute. One of the servers walked to the chapel and carried back tubs of bottled water for guests. They were heavy and that was above and beyond what they were there to do. As the night progressed, they crated back up the plates, forks, glasses, etc. Pre-event, Ingrid, was also very patient and flexible with me as I continued to "tweak" the menu to make it perfect. The only thing I would have done differently is let Reata handle ordering all of the dinnerware, table clothes, etc, which would have saved me time and frustration.

Our reception at the Reata was incredible! We initially didn't look here, because we assumed such an amazing venue downtown would be out of our budget. Luckily, we checked anyway and we were blown away by what they offered. They are flexible with the sites that you can reserve and have a minimum amount you have to spend per rental space. We reserved the Dome for dinner and Caballo Canyon/Sunset Rooftop bar and deck for drinks and dancing. We were quoted a flat fee (+ tax and gratuity) and were given liberty as to how EVER we wanted to spend it (no hidden cake cutting/bartender/candles/whatever gimme fee that most vendors had). We could choose as few or many courses and beverage offerings as we wanted. And let's be serious, flexibility is usually not in the wedding vocabulary unless if you want to spend MAJOR bucks. If this wasn't great enough, the venue is SPECTACULAR. Our pictures have such great views of downtown Fort Worth. The food is to die for. Everyone walked away full and satisfied and had thought it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Lastly, the most amazing part was the service we received. Nicole and Anna are AMAZING event coordinators. They are prompt with replies, efficient in delivery, and amazingly polite. I loved working with them. The bar/serving staff at Reata were all courteous and incredibly kind, efficient, and made everyone feel like they were at a 5 star restaurant. We absolutely loved having our wedding there and are so glad we didn't cross it off our list based on an initial gut assumption.

We used Reata for our wedding reception and it was perfect! Reata was able to bring in the necessary rentals we needed, provided our passed appetizers, meal, and bar-tending service! The service was perfect and the food was delicious! We had many people call us after the wedding to tell us how great it was for such a large group (150). The value was great and the event planning staff is professional and attentive. We definitely recommend Reata!

We had an evening wedding so we decided to have our reception inside Reata's dome. It was beautiful and romantic! The food was also amazing and our guests still comment about the food. All the staff that we interacted with did an wonderful job and really worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. We would really recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a celebration of some sort.

Reata was so perfect! Due to some strange unforeseen circumstances I actually had to look for a caterer twice. (Don’t go with a catering company owned and run by only one person, ladies!) At first, I thought a place like Reata would be too expensive for me, but that wasn’t true at all! Their prices were quite reasonable. Plus, Ingrid and the other Reata catering staff explained the price breakdown to my father and I very carefully. I never felt that they were trying to pull one over on us. They were quick to communicate via e-mail, too. The taste-testing was amazing, no tiny portions here, my parents and I could have had a full meal from the portions they brought us. Everything was delicious on the wedding night, and very different. We went with beef tenderloin tamales, a green salad, green beans, garlic rosemary mashed potatoes, two different breads, and an avocado bar where guests could put chicken, shrimp, or tomato salad into their avocado half. It was different and awesome. Plus, the staff was amazing. They brought food to my DJ and photographer so they could eat while working. Ingrid met us after our big exit with 2 packed meals and a slice of wedding cake each. My husband and I devoured our meal in the hotel room, and this became one of my favorite memories from the whole day. I’m so happy I went with them!

We initially did not consider Reata for our catering because we assumed they were out of our price range. However, we were happily surprised to find that they were very reasonable. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. When a storm blew in and threatened to wreck out outdoor reception, the catering staff mobilized and got everything inside quickly.

If you book Reata, be sure to try the brisket tamales. They were the biggest hit.

HIGHLY recommend. Not only was the food seriously delicious, the team helped us coordinate all rentals - even the dance floor! Amazing, amazing experience for us & our guests.

Reata was an amazing place to have a reception. My guests had endless compliments on how great the food was, how great the service was, and how great the location was. We had planned to have our reception on the rooftop, but due to rain the reception was moved into the dome. We didn't know it had been moved into the dome until we arrived at the reception. We were a little shocked at first because the rain had already stopped, but I think they wanted to make sure our food and centerpieces weren't ruined in the meantime. While the dome was not where I had planned on having my reception, it looked great when it was all set up and decorated. They were also great about keeping us posted of our bar tab to make sure we didn't go over our budget, and had food packed up and in the car for us when we left. My husband and I ate the leftovers later that night and they were DELICIOUS!

Reata has always had a great reputation, and they definitely lived up to it when they catered our wedding reception! Reata was completely professional in every way. Their staff promptly responded to every email and phone call, and they were very easy to work with. They came up with different buffet, appetizer, and station options to facilitate our needs and meet our budget. We had multiple guests tell us how good our food was...and we were very impressed with the value of the food for the price. We liked Reata so much we hosted our rehearsal dinner in the Dome on the rooftop as well! During both events, we had a waiter personally assigned to us, and it was so nice to be able to actually sit down and eat at our reception. The food at our reception buffet was nicely displayed, and our macaroni and cheese station was a total hit! We would highly recommend Reata for your catering needs!

We had our short ceremony and reception on the Sunset Deck at Reata in Ft. Worth and it was spectacular. Wedding food has a reputation of being lack luster or awful, and this was certainly not the case. The menu selections were unique, the servers were very attentive and the atmosphere was awesome. I received great advice and guidance from the event planning staff, all of our guests were taken care of during the entire event and we even got to enjoy the meal! We will go back again and again.

I would not hesitate to hire Reata and their staff for absolutley any event-- including my own wedding, again. They are professional and provide excellent service-- not to mention the food is incredible. Reata is worth the investment.

They were amazing! The food was wonderful, of course, but the customer service and coordination were five star all the way! They were easy to work with and handled a lot of little details for me without fee-ing us to death. You won't regret chosing the Reata as your caterers!

Everyone who attending our wedding said it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. The food was so incredible and they were so easy to work with. It went above and beyond my expectations and they even gave us the left overs!!! If you want great quality and delicious food please go with the Reata!

I looked all over DFW for places for our reception and I kept coming back to The Reata. I had been to a wedding reception there before and had a great time so I decided to go with it and they did not disappoint. Anna, the coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She was so helpful when picking out the menu and working with my other vendors on setting up. I didn't have to put much effort into the planning which is exactly what I wanted and it was affordable considering what you recieve. We had the whole rooftop and it was perfect. It rained that night but that did not stop us from having a great time. There was enough cover to make sure no one got too wet. They also did a great job changing everything at the last minute because the rain was not supposed to come til the next day, it was a little surprise. It was the perfect venue for my perfect night. Everyone was complemented my family on what a perfect place for a wedding reception. Food was amazing and service was perfect.

On our tight budget, I never imagined I'd be able to afford to have Reata restaurant cater our wedding reception! But my planner suggested Reata, and the price they quoted me was fantastic, so I never considered anyone else. I knew Reata's food was fantastic, and their catering service (Reata On The Road) did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and the service they gave was more than I expected. They had plates prepared for my husband and I at our table, they moved guests through the buffet efficiently, and I think my videographer mentioned that they brought him a plate of food also so he didn't have to stop filming any more than necessary. They did a great job for us.

What a perfect rooftop venue! I searched and searched for an outdoor venue where the outdoors could still be enjoyed even if there was inclement weather and was thrilled to find Reata's rooftop for our brunch reception. The covered patio and glass dome enclosure were perfect during our sunny afternoon celebration, but would have been equally as enjoyable if it had decided to rain. The staff were incredible in helping us brainstorm ideas for where activities would take place (we had a short ceremony on the sunset deck, food stations in the dome, and a DJ, photobooth and bean bag set up once the ceremony break down took place). Anna Cotton was one of my main contacts and personally brought some passed appetizers to our table since we were busy taking pictures while they were being served; however, the event was well staffed and everyone was incredible. My friends and family continue to rave about the food, service and uniqueness of the venue.

I think overall the value was great, and the only reason I didn't give them a perfect five was because we quickly exceeded the expected bar budget -- which shocked me given the number of non-drinkers and what I thought was a fairly liberal budget to begin with, but perhaps my friends are bigger fish than I thought! Regardless, they did a great job of notifying my mom (the person designated with taking the tab) and the event was well worth every penny spent -- I would highly recommend the venue, food and staff for any event!

Wonderful Wedding Dinner

In lieu of a typical reception, we held a simple seated dinner following our marriage ceremony. The rooftop dome was the perfect space for our 70 guests, the service was personal and wonderful, and as always, the food was outstanding.

Fort Worth famous for a reason

Reata was SUPER easy to work with AND THE FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR. We truly got so many compliments and I knew based on reviews alone this was the place. I also knew we had to have the beef tenderloin tamales that everyone was RAVING about and it did not disappoint. We've been back already since out wedding to have the same meal! So happy to have had Reata cater our wedding! The staff was super professional and kind. One lady even helped me fluff my veil while I was standing alone right before I walked down the aisle! THANK YOU to that angel! You can't go wrong with this Fort Worth famous restaurant and caterer!

The food was great, and every meeting was great. We had a sit down dinner, and their staff were courteous and prompt.

The only problem we ran into was a few missing gifts, and we aren't sure if it was the venue staff or Reata.

Other than that, it was nice.

The night could not have been more perfect at the Reata. The wait staff was very professional, the food was great and we had the entire Cabello Canyon to ourselves (including the private bar). The entire staff truly went above and beyond that night! Anna Cotton was our event coordinator through out the entire planning process. I don't know if it was restaurant policies or hers but in the beginning it was really hard to get concrete yes or no answers to our requests. And thats the ONLY reason why I didn't give a complete 5/5 rating. But after those hiccups, everything went incredibly smooth and the entire night was beautiful! Our guests thought they were coming to the Reata for our engagement party but little did they know that we were surprising them with a surprised wedding ceremony! It was so fabulous. Anna let the ENTIRE staff at the Reata know about the secret and they were all completely amazing making sure all the family and friends were where they needed to be during the revealing and they had my wedding dress safely secure in the basement dinning area and we had the entire area down there to get dressed and take shots with my maid of honor and Mom lacing my dress. They were great for our wedding. Let our vendors come and go as needed and set things up (I think, I was getting married!!)

The food was great. The rooftop atmosphere is amazing and can't be beat.
I would recommend not using candles for centerpieces as it is too windy.
I wish they had more pictures and things to recommend.

What a great experience! The big reasons we picked Reatas was because of their reputation in downtown Fort Worth and because the entire meal was gluten free. Gluten free or not, the food was delicious. We ordered the tamales (a must), chicken skewers, potatoes, mixed veggies, salad, corn bread, and a couple of appetizers like mushroom, cheese, etc. Reata's was more than helpful. I was in contact with Lauren who put up with all of my questions (which I am sure I asked multiple times). She was quick to response and very approachable. I also ended up ordering my china and silverware through her because she was able to coordinate and arrange everything with any additional contracts or people to work through. The day of the wedding everything ran smoothly, even when me and the groom made our entrance into the reception they had plates made for us and brought them to our table. At one point, no sure who notices, they determined we may run out of food. Not a problem! They called the restaurants which was right down the street and brought more food in no time. In addition to the food, the caterers and bar tender were great! Friendly and ready for everything. When a table collapsed (it had been set up incorrectly) they were on top of it picking up plates and clearing the floor. I really cant say enough about Reata's and we are really satisfied with their services.

Very professional staff and amazing service. The tasting was great and the appetizers were to die for! However, the steak that I ordered were not the same steak that they delivered at the wedding! Considering at least 80 people received the wrong steak, I was somewhat disappointed.

Honestly, for the money we paid I wish I could give Reata a 5 star review. We were surprised when we got our original quote how affordable a nice place like Reata would be. So, as we were having a black tie wedding we decided to go for it! Everyone said they enjoyed the food but my husband and I were left disappointed. Our steaks were mushy, we had guests told they were not allowed more than one roll per person which REALLY ticked me off because we paid for 150 rolls and had about 30-50 people not show up SO there were extra rolls that went uneaten. I paid for my niece, the flowergirl to have a plate and her parents were told she did not have one. (i did not find out until after the wedding that they had to leave to go get a lunchable so the toddler could eat). Reata also provided cake cutting too. Which was great except they only cut and served the chocolate cake. it wasnt until they thought they were done passing cake when i asked why the vanilla cake wasnt being served. i was told they didnt need to it was all the same. i had to correct them and explain that there are people there that dont eat chocolate and it needs to be served. Honestly, out of my entire reception the only stress was from Reata.
