  This is an absolutely must book venue. If you have doubts, SHAKE THEM

  Sophia was amazing from the very beginning. We actually booked Nauvoo Grill in November of 2020 with the hope of celebrating our engagement party in December 2020. Covid forced us to postpone until June of 2021. For our December event, we invited 80 people meanwhile for our postponement we ended up inviting 150 people. Sophia was accommodating throughout it all. She had suggested we relocate our party to Raven and the Peach a month before the event. Sophia was very responsive throughout it all and had many suggestions to help make our day even better. The staff was absolutely amazing and our guests RAVED about the food for days. I hope to celebrate many more events with Sophia and Raven and the Peach. Thank you for everything!!

  Sophia was always available for questions/ made great suggestions/ referred extra vendors / was sympathetic & flexible furring Covid times.

  Ravin' About Raven!

  Not only was The Raven and the Peach the loveliest of venues with amazing food and extraordinary attention to detail, but the hands on tailoring to our needs was a gift! Having our daughter's wedding in 2020 was challenging, but each time we spoke with Sophia, we were energized and excited for our event. Sophia helped with vendor choice, color scheme, menu design, set up and anything we hadn't thought of ourselves; she was truly invaluable! On the day of the wedding, Sophia realized that we neglected to drop off our menu holders, but magically beautiful gold ones appeared on each table, and it was perfect! Chef Rob added so much flare to our cocktail hour, meal, and dessert that both the bride and groom's families were singing his praise. Our favorite part of the wedding planning was the tasting at Raven and every conversation and interaction we had with Sophia and Rob. Our server, Daphne, was also the tops! My husband and I have already gone back to Nauvoo, sister restaurant to The Raven and the Peach to recapture and recall our daughter's wedding! #grateful!

  Beautiful Bridal Shower

  After interviewing many venues, I choose Raven and Peach for my daughter’s bridal shower. Sophia, the event coordinator, won me over. She was attentive and flexible.
  
  The shower was held in a spacious room with lots of natural light.
  
  The cost effective brunch was delicious. Many guests went back for seconds
  
  I opted to bring our own dessert, that also served as centerpieces and favors. This reduced the price per person by a few dollars.
  
  I highly recommend this venue for your next formal event.

  Great experience

  Our event held at the Raven and the Peach was a great experience. From the first email to the venue for information to the follow ups after our event, the staff was so responsive and so helpful. They made sure that our event went off without any issues and made sure that we were happy during the whole process. Sophia and Caitlin were so easy to work with and very knowledgeable about how to best layout the room and the schedule of events for a great relaxed flow for the evening. All of the servers the night of our event were super sweet and so helpful.

  Hosted daughter's bridal shower on May 4,2019

  I hosted a champagne themed bridal shower brunch for my daughter and everything from start to finish was perfect! The venue (we had 110 guests attending)-seating lay out - gift display- menu choices -food (the waffles were to die for)-champagne - mimosas-bellinis -wine and beverages - wait staff - bartender Brad -host - valet and of course dealing with Kaitlin and Sophia was terrific ! I would highly recommend hosting any special occasion at the Raven and the Peach.

  Raven & the Peach Staff was absolutely amazing and made our event perfect!!! Sophia and Kaitlin helped us with every step of the way starting from putting together the menu (and it was so hard to chose, because everything on their menu is delicious) up to supreme service on the day of the event! Dessert & coffee bar was an icing on the cake! Superstar team and one of a kind venue! Thank you so much!

  Best wedding planning and wedding day experience!

  We had such a stress free time planning and hosting our wedding at Raven and the Peach. Kaitlin and Sophia are amazing event coordinators - always available and always have great suggestions. We left a lot of little decorations/supplies with them the week of our wedding and when we showed up, it was all perfectly done! They are amazing to work with. Highlights of the day included:
  1. FOOD!! If you are looking for great food, look no further! People are still raving about it months later! Cocktail hour food was amazing and plentiful. All dinners were perfectly cooked -- honestly how do you cook 50+ filets perfectly! Incredible. And we had late night option for our friends who took advantage of the open bar -- board walk food of fries, chicken fingers, sliders, corn dogs, zepoles. All with to-go boxes! Everything about the food was perfect!
  2. BAR - They don't up-sell you on bar packages like most other venues which is amazing. You tell them the beer and alcohol you prefer and they have it available. I appreciated this because so many other venues will give you bottom shelf alcohol unless you go for a much more expensive option.
  3. STAFF - The staff was amazing! Waiters, waitresses, and bartenders were so friendly and accommodating! We had some elderly relatives and they got everything they needed brought to the table, which was so nice. They didn't have to get up to go to the bar or anything and some of the staff helped them to the stairs or elevators. It was really sweet!
  4. DECOR - The decor is so unique! It's not your typical NJ ballroom venue and we really appreciated that. We loved the palms and eclectic artwork. We embraced that and went with all greenery for our centerpieces and bouquets. It's such a unique look and the upstairs loft is such a beautiful place to take pictures!
  5. VALUE - The value for the money is great! They are so flexible with making the menu exactly what you want and not upcharging for small things. For example, we had a few vegans attend and they allowed us to put a vegan entree on the menu in addition to the other 3 entree choices at no extra charge. Things like that are so small but can add up if a venue keeps nit-picking about that stuff
  
  I highly suggest working with Kaitlin and Sophia at Raven and the Peach (or Nauvoo) for any event!

  Amazing Party Experience!

  We recently had our daughter's baptism party at Raven and the Peach. It was so easy and fun setting up the big day with Sophia and Kaitlin. We recently used them at Nauvoo to do our baby shower and since that was such a perfect experience we used them again at R&P. Once again the atmosphere was beautiful and the food just keeps getting better and better!

  A day to remember

  We celebrated my sons baptism at Raven & the Peach and couldn’t be happier. The staff was so helpful and brought my vision to life! They exceeded my expectations and made this day truly one we will remember and cherish always.

They put in so much work to give me the wedding of my dreams, including making seriously last minute adjustments and picking up the slack where I dropped the ball! I told them my vision and they made it happen! They were extremely flexible and a joy to work with! Don’t even get me started on the food....OUT OF THIS WORLD! Still the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and a very fun and unique place to have a reception! Super cool vibe! If you are considering having your event here, DO IT! You will not be sorry!!! Shout out to Sophia Stratis for being the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY RECEPTION OR EVENT!!!

  Last month we had our wedding at Nauvoo Grill Club/Raven & the Peach. We just cannot say enough nice things about both restaurants. We had our ceremony by the fireplace at Nauvoo which made it feel very cozy and intimate. The reception was at Raven & the Peach which has a totally different ambiance, but is also a beautiful space. The food was incredible. My husband and I did a tasting a month before the wedding with our parents. We were super impressed, but figured that when doing an event for 125 people they would not be able to meet the same quality, taste, and presentation. We were so wrong! Everything was delicious from the cocktail hour to the entrees. All of our guests agreed that they had never had such delicious and perfectly cooked food at a wedding. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. A special shout out to Sophia and her team for helping us from the moment we toured the venue for the first time to the end of the event when they packed up all of our belongings. They answered all of our questions promptly throughout the planning process and helped us to make the day exactly what we wanted. A wedding day can be very stressful, but they made the day feel easy and smooth and really allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves! We would highly recommend both restaurants for anything from a meal to a wedding! A perfect experience all around!

  PERFECT in every way! I hosted a small Baby Shower Tea. The event staff is knowledgeable and obliging. Our experience was a delight. Venue is elegant and tasteful. We chose the 4-course Tea Menu, which was varied, ample and delicious. One guest likened it to High Tea at The Plaza. I ordered a pricey cake, from a famous "TV" bakery, which was disappointing. The desserts and Key Lime Tarts provided by R and P chef, were FAR superior.
  Our serving staff was personable and very accommodating. Truly a great experience. I look forward to planing my next event with The Raven and the Peach.

The desserts and Key Lime Tarts provided by R and P chef, were FAR superior.
  Our serving staff was personable and very accommodating. Truly a great experience. I look forward to planing my next event with The Raven and the Peach.

  I cannot explain how happy my husband and I were with Raven and the Peach. We had a wedding of approx. 125 people and wanted an intimate, elegant dinner party feeling. We truly got it from them. Liz was so accommodating and truly wanted to ensure we were happy. The food was DELICIOUS and our wedding was SO reasonably priced. If you have your wedding here, your guests will truly remember it as it has an elegant feeling, not a banquet hall, "cookie cutter" wedding feeling. If you are wanting something different, elegant and memorable, check it out!!!! Thank you Liz and everyone at Raven and the Peach for making our wedding so special and memorable!

  The best wedding ever!

  3/23/2014 I got married at Raven & The Peach.
  It was a Sunday afternoon in 2014. It was 100 people (including 10 children). The 2nd floor was gorgeous. The venue was amazing and we had the best time. I couldn’t be happier that we got married at Raven & The Peach!!!!!!

We wanted to have our wedding here but felt the space was too small for 200 people, so we compromised by doing the rehearsal dinner here instead. The decor is gorgeous, and they were willing to work with us about which space we held the dinner in. It was perfect for our Gatsby-themed dinner on Halloween night! My only complaint would be that they seem to frequently change staff, so between September 2013 when we went to consider it for the wedding, to December when we booked it for the rehearsal dinner, to October 2014 when we held the rehearsal dinner, we worked with probably 3-5 different people.
