Rangoli catered a lunch after a Hindu wedding ceremony for a crowd of both Indian and non-Indian guests to great success. Kumar was very responsive and helped us plan snacks to keep our guests fed before our ceremony and a later lunch. His team on the day of our wedding was very professional, and the food was delicious. We especially recommend the chai, mango mousse, and live jalebi station!

A positive experience from every angle!
We hired Rangoli as the outside caterer for our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner which was held at a Marriott Hotel. Kumar, the owner of Rangoli was exceptionally attentive from the time we signed the contract. He stayed in touch to make sure we were comfortable with the menu and was open to making changes if we needed. On the day of the rehearsal dinner, Kumar and his crew arrived on time and set up everything in style. Our guests raved about the dinner entree items and relished every bit of what was served. Wedding catering at Peabody library
Rangoli did an EXCELLENT job catering for our wedding at the Peabody Library. At our tasting, they were very attentive and made sure we made selections that not only we liked, but that our guests would thoroughly enjoy. Kumar and the entire Rangoli staff were incredible. From the day we first spoke with them to the event day, they were so nice to work with. Their prices are incredibly fair and the food is fantastic - they provide so many dishes for a very reasonable price. Kumar even took the time to come to our walk through at the venue so he was aware of where to place tables for cocktail hour/dinner. Everyone I spoke to loved the food and we had leftovers for days. They even brought an extra dish at our cocktail hour. Our guests also said the service was impeccable. We will definitely use Rangoli for future catering needs.

Best Food with Topmost Service
We hired Rangoli for our son’s wedding in Cambridge, Maryland. Kumar was amazing and helped us every step of the way, from our initial call of planning, preparation to execution during wedding. He helped us decide the menu for each event. We had catered total of 8 meal for the wedding between 75 to over 300 people and he served each menu with same high quality of food. Our guest loved all the delicious food items. Kumar provided the topmost service throughout the process. He even helped with setting up a separate table for people who I had ordered home cooked food. Amazing experience, from start to finish!
We recently had our wedding catered by Rangoli and I can't express how amazing they were from start to finish. They were thorough, responsive, experienced, friendly, and just incredible in every aspect. My wife and I planned our wedding ourselves and did not have a day of coordinator. There were so many things that we did not even think of in regard to the planning phase that Kumar guided us through. He asked the right questions, did his due diligence, and resolved several issues that popped up throughout the event so that we could enjoy the wedding. All of this and I haven't even gotten to the food which was absolutely incredible. We had guests whom never had Indian food before, and we also had guests whom grew up on it. Both groups would not stop telling me and texting me how much they loved the food. The chicken 65 in particular was a crowd favorite. I can't recommend them enough. They were very thorough, accommodating ( our wedding was in Davis, WV which is 2.5 hrs away from them) , and went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. They helped us with things that we were planning on doing ourselves, but they went out of their way to do it for us. Everyone, especially Kumar, who we interacted with was extremely friendly and professional. You will not regret getting your event catered by Rangoli, and ours would have been a lot less special without them.

We really enjoyed Rangoli's Food & Professionalism for my Daughter's Wedding Reception. All of our Guests were really enjoyed the Food that includes, snacks, Main Course, & the Dessert. Highly professional team with excellent variety and flavor
We catered with Rangoli on two occasions and were not disappointed. The wide selection of cuisines made our life easier. Our guests enjoyed the food and variety, especially their Pink Strawberry Lassi which was a big hit at our event. The quality was more than sufficient , their set up was prompt and professional, and the flavor of each dish was remarkable. We enjoyed working with Kumar as he provided his expertise on how to organize the event, layout, coordinate other services like tent, table and chair rental. Daughters wedding at Lansdowne Resort in Virginia
We received several compliments from the over 300 guests that attended the cocktail hour and reception at our daughter's wedding at the Lansdowne Resort in Virginia. The food was very tasty and the variety of items was excellent. The display of the food items and especially the appetizers and dessert section was the best i have seen at any wedding. The Staff and Management of Rangoli spent a lot of time with our family in deciding the items and the taste for the items. In the end, the food came out really good.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Rangoli for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial tasting to the final event, Kumar and his team at Rangoli delivered exceptional service, professionalism, and—most importantly—incredible food.
Kumar was attentive, responsive, and highly knowledgeable about regional Indian cuisines, which made planning our menu a real collaboration. He took the time to understand our preferences, dietary restrictions, and the cultural nuances of our event as we were trying to mesh Malyalee and Bengali Cuisine.
On both days of events, Rangoli’s team was punctual, organized, and courteous. The food was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the Palak Chaat, the Poori's, and the goat curry! The dessert spread was equally impressive, especially the addition of mishti doi and chom chom to the fan favorite mango mousse!

Amazing food and great service!
We catered our wedding in May with Rangoli and it was an absolute hit. Pretty much every guest raved about the food: not just the taste (which was exceptional), but the number of options, presentation, and service. From our perspective, we had a great tasting session, lots of options available for us to choose from, and the entire team at Rangoli was very flexible with us and understanding. They were incredibly professional and knowledgable about the venue, making sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible with no problems whatsoever. Kumar even packed us leftovers from the wedding to make sure that we could continue eating delicious food during the busy days after the wedding– such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Kumar can do it all!
We hosted our 150-guest Indian fusion wedding in September 2024 and needed a caterer that could do both crazy good Indian food and also make some good old fashioned meat and potatoes for the American palate. Kumar stood out from the competition, because he can literally do anything you want. He not only owns an indian restaurant, but also an American cafe, and has access to both kitchens for his catering business. So it was no problem to have palak paneer and lamb vindaloo alongside pizza fresh from a pizza oven, and steak and potatoes cooked fresh and medium rare. On top of that, his price was super competitive and his communication and flexibility were top notch. He knows the wedding business, and he knows a lot of people, so he'll also gladly help you scope out other vendors and venues, which was very helpful for us when we were planning our fusion Sangeet party as well. Overall, very pleased!

We recently (Dec, 2024) catered food for our daughter’s wedding from the Rangoli restaurant located at Manasas, VA, both for the Sangeeth and Mehendi event, and the main wedding day. The service, quality and taste of the food and the entire experience for not just us but all our guests was amazing. Mr. Kumar not only worked with us to create a custom menu catering to our unique religious needs without compromising the taste but delivered over and beyond our expectations. Very happy we chose Rangoli as the caterer for our son’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD. Great catering for our wedding
We enjoyed working with Kumar and the Rangoli team for our Indian wedding July 2024. They catered at the Kent Island Resort as well as another event we held a couple days prior. The food was great with numerous dishes. We received multiple compliments about the food - it was tasty and there were accommodations made based on our tastes. Kumar was easy to work with, flexible and communicative. His staff were hard working, polite and very nice. The team packed up all the leftovers after the event and sent us home with it. I highly recommend them for any catering needs you have!

We enjoyed meeting with Kumar and participating in a tasting of his dishes- including his surprising us with some delicious falafel and cauliflower from my Jerusalem cookbook. (2 weeks before our event the caterers that were going to offer Mediterranean dishes went out of business. Kumar said he could fill in and make the hummus, falafel and cauliflower for the pita sandwiches. I was very appreciative of this flexibility so that we could offer food of both traditions for everyone.) We had many compliments about the food at our party- both the Indian and Mediterranean inspired. The Dosa station was a hit with fresh Dosas being made outdoors. The staff was very attentive and took care of keeping the food plentiful and hot. Everything was professionally set up and then cleaned up later by the Rangoli staff. Our kitchen was left in very good condition after the event. We felt the event went very well and I was thrilled that Kumar provided everything I asked for. I was very impressed with his reliability and eye for detail- to be sure everything looked and tasted right.

Kumar and his team provided great service at our wedding and reception! Kumar was very responsive and accommodating right from the beginning. He made sure that we had a good experience at tasting and helped us build out a great menu for the day. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food - right from the welcome drinks to dessert. We also used Rangoli's services for furniture and linen rentals. The team did a great job getting us what we wanted and ensuring seamless set up and breakdown as well as a smooth transition between events. We highly recommend Rangoli and Kumar's team!

Rangoli catered for our son's engagement party
We had over 150 guests at an exotic location and had appetizers to start with and then dinner. The food was excellent and service exemplary. Kumar, was there personally, to oversee that everything was in order. Our guests were very happy and we would highly recommend Rangoli/Kumar.

Mr. Kumar and his staff were just amazing. He was very easy to communicate with, very quick to respond to our questions..He accommodated our guests who had a certain dietary restrictions. On the day of the event he personally came and supervised everything and made sure everything went smoothly. With Mr Kumar’s extensive experience catering so many events he graciously gave us some helpful ideas for planning and set up.
The food was excellent and all our guests enjoyed the food. The service was very professional and helped us in all aspects from setting up the event, Bar tender, presentation, serving, DJ service and clean up after the event. We highly recommend Kumar , Rangoli Catering any event.

Super delicious, celebratory catering and great value for money
Our wedding planner recommended Rangoli for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. For our wedding, we had a separate catering company arranging food/dishes/bar for the day and hired Rangoli to drop off food for our Indian food station. A Rangoli staff member was also onsite to help plate the buffet. Start to finish, Rangoli’s team was great to work with. The food was DELICIOUS and a great value. Multiple guests mentioned the quality of the food and went back for seconds and thirds. We know no guest went home hungry. We also appreciated that Rangoli was able to help us accommodate guests with various dietary needs with food that was still celebratory-feeling. Kumar and his team went above and beyond to ensure the success of our sons engagement party. As a Caterer, Kumar was responsive to all of my questions and provided guidance along the way. They arrived on time for the event and were setup in time for our, despite some barriers. His team was dressed and behaved in a very professional manner to meet the needs of our guest. Kumar, himself, assured me that I could leave and get ready and that he would make sure everything was ready, prior to our guest arrival. since the venue was outdoors, I was assigning one of my family members to light candles when it turned dark, Kumar stepped up and assured me that his team would light the candle so that we could enjoy the event. He even provided special Jain food for my mother and proceeded to serve her, while encouraging me to enjoy the even. Kumar treated my son engagement as if it was for his own family. Fabulous food and great flexibility
I hired Rangoli for my fusion wedding in May 2023 and I'm so glad I did! Kumar and his team were the first reliable caterers that I spoke to who could provide Indian food to be combined with American food provided by a separate caterer (owners of the venue) as well as the necessary serving utensils, chafers, etc. all at a very reasonable price point. From the first conversation I had with Kumar I was so pleased to hear "oh no problem we can do that" rather than what I was hearing from others in the industry. He was very communicative and open to listening to any and all ideas I had about the menu, while also providing his own suggestions. Kumar also did a good job of working together with the American caterer, deciding how and where to place his food items to make it a cohesive menu. I enjoyed my experience with Rangoli and would recommend them to anyone. My only regret was not having the chance to try all of Rangoli's food on the day of my wedding and suggest that they set aside a few plates of apps for the bride and groom!!

Kumar Iyer of Rangoli has helped our family in a couple of previous occassions also. Everytime, our experience has been very good. But, in this most recent event (of my son Abhiram's wedding), Kumar went far beyond his call of duty. We greatly benefitted by his wise advice while selecting venues, day-of-coordinator as well as menu. My son's and daughter-in-law's friends genuinely appreciated the quality of food and the way it was displayed.
Kumar's prices are reasonable. In fact, he even reduced the price agreed upon originally; the original price was high because of the post-Covid inflation. But two weeks before the event, when the prices were stabilizing, Kumar reduced the price on his own.
Kumar's professionalism and business ethics are of highest quality. I wholeheartedly recommend Kumar for catering for any occassion of any size.

We love Rangoli cuisine. It's very unique. Rangoli's owner Kumar takes special care when you cater with them and his suggestions worked out very well for us. Food was great and everyone enjoyed it especially Shaam Savera was very tasty . Their appetizers masala vada and samosa chaat were perfect at our event . Since we had out of town guests and the hotel did not have any complimentary breakfast Rangoli owner Kumar suggested boxed breakfast for our guests the next and it was delivered right on time and food was great . We hired Rangoli to cater our Sangeet and a few brunches hosted at the hotel our guests were staying at. The food provided was incredible and we got so many compliments from our guests throughout the entire weekend. We worked directly with the owner of the restaurant (Kumar) who was professional, kind, and an excellent communicator. He hosted us for a tasting a few months before our event and helped design the perfect menu for our Sangeet. He even helped us with the layout of our event to ensure the ideal flow for guests during appetizers and dinner. Rangoli made our meals memorable!
We really appreciated Kumar and his team's attention and care to serving excellent traditional South Indian breakfast and lunch for our wedding! The way they prepared the dishes was perfect and got compliments both from family visiting from South India and from non-Indians who in some cases were enjoying their first South Indian meal. We also ordered a full Indo-Chinese spread for a mehendi party and had individual mango lassi shooters for after the baraat, and all were prepared and delivered with care. It was extremely easy working with Kumar as he is very responsive and helpful, and his team is flexible and happy to accommodate! We went with Rangoli because we've had their food before and now that we've worked with them we'd definitely recommend them to others.

Great service and super delicious food!
I had a great experience hiring rangoli catering for my wedding. It was a fusion wedding so we were nervous about serving Indian food but the guests really enjoyed it. The presentation was great, and the food tasted super delicious. 10/10 recommend them!

Brunch Service
We requested brunch service relatively late/last minute in our wedding plans. Mr Kumar was fortunately available and very kind to agree to do it even after it didn’t workout with first vendor.
He was very kind, receptive and extremely professional over the phone.
Food came very timely.
It was loved by all our guests from various parts of India who had different palates for food appreciation. We had multiple excellent comments.
He was very honest in his dealings.
I would go with him again any day.

Rangoli went above and beyond!
Picking a caterer we trust to handle food and execution was crucial and our biggest stress. We decided to go with Rangoli because we loved the food at the tasting, especially the Gujarati dishes, non-veg dishes and desserts. Also, we really enjoyed working with Kumarji because he was patient, honest, respectful and very receptive to feedback. When it came to our big day Kumarji was hours early, worked closely with venue to execute lunch and dinner, and the food was amazing! It was very important to Kumarji that Harsh and I were happy from start to end and we are truly grateful. We highly recommend hiring Rangoli for your event.

Rangoli was truly amazing in every way
I cannot recommend Rangoli enough. Kumar was wonderful to work with and a real pleasure. The food was amazing and he was very professional, helpful, and attentive on our wedding day. Unfortunately we had issues with the first caterer we chose, but we could not have had a better experience than the one we had with Rangoli. Kumar truly saved us by jumping in and was so cheerful the whole time.

Kumar & his team were fantastic to work with from the initial tasting, recommendations on menu selection, and day of execution. Many of the guests were raving about the food quality and taste, and as foodies, it was important that our guests enjoyed the cuisine. Caterer for 50th birthday at Winery at Bull Run
Amazing catering service. Very involved in the vision that we had to make it a beautiful event with perfect presentation and execution. Kumar and the staff was very helpful with set up and clean up and did everything in a timely manner. Food and presentation of food was very well done.

Rehearsal Dinner Excellence
I cannot speak more highly of Kumar and his staff at Rangoli. My wife and I used Kumar to cater our rehearsal dinner for about 100 people. From the very beginning Kumar made the experience so simple. He was easy to work with and knew more about the specific needs of his staff and the venue than we did. At the actual event, Kumar and his team arrived well ahead of time to prepare and decorate everything before any guests arrived. When it came to the meal itself, it was nothing short of artwork. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but every platter was a display of culinary expertise. Historically, our family is known to have a few food critics, but not a single bad thing could be said about this food. We would highly recommend the team at Rangoli for anyone looking to cater an event or just for a stop at their restaurant for a delicious meal.

If you want a stress free and memorable experience for your wedding then please make sure you hire Rangoli for your catering services. Kumar and his team went above and beyond to ensure that the food and services was beyond exceptional. There were moment in the planning process where Kumar did not only handle the catering but also helped me as a bride stay calm with other planning processes which was not even his responsibility. On the day of the wedding he ensured to personally attend to the guests to make sure that no one had empty plates. The food along with the presentation was exceptional. He made it easy to plan the menu, the additional line items and in all took charge of delivering the best and seamless experience. My daughter's wedding
We hired Rangoli to cater foods for all three occasions (Sangeet, Wedding and Reception) during my daughter's wedding. Our experience was simply superb. We had a pleasant experience in dealing with Mr Kumar Iyer. He was very flexible to our needs and the food taste was very good. We had all unique menu for each event. Our guests have been raving about the food even after weeks. We crave to go back and try again the food once more in their restaurant. I would highly recommend them.

Exceeded Our Expectations
Pleasure to work with Kumar and his team. Excellent food customized to our palettes. Tapas style for pre-wedding festivities to a multi-course south / north indian menu for our daughter's wedding and reception. Guests loved it. Excellent South Indian Food for Fusion Wedding!
We had a fusion Indian and Western style wedding. Kumar and his team were very attentive to details and made it a smooth, enjoyable experience. All of our guests raved about the quality of their favorite dishes like "Chicken 65", "Vadas" and "Dosas". The Rangoli team was very attentive to smaller details to make our day even more special. The Groom's mother requested Mint Chutney, and although not part of the usual Dosa condiments, the team was able to make it available. Kumar and his team also took banana leaves and cut them to plate size to add to the feel of a traditional South Indian wedding. They truly made the day special. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for Indian catering!

Excellent service, food & empathetic management
We had the pleasure of working with Rangoli for our wedding reception. The food was delicious - we chose a mix of South Indian and North Indian dishes, and the team delivered our vision perfectly. Everything from the initial tasting, to communication during contracting and menu finalization, to day of plating and service was excellent. Several guests complimented the food - which is not always a guarantee when it comes to Indian food prepared for a larger crowd.
Would also like to specifically highlight the high quality and professionalism of the manager, Kumar. We were a pandemic couple, initially meant to be married in April 2020, and had many changes of plans and postponements. Throughout all of this, Kumar led with empathy; always willing to work with us through adjustments to the format of our event. He was very understanding and kind throughout our discussions of changes, in a time that must have been very challenging for wedding vendors and the restaurant industry.
We sincerely thank Kumar and the full Rangoli team for making our wedding reception memorable in every way. We would heartily recommend this restaurant to any family looking for fantastic Indian catering for an event.

Thank you for taking care of the catering for the reception lunch. Also special thanks for putting up with the hiccups on the venue rental when we had to move the celebration to the 12th hour. You and your crew were awesome. The food was very good and all the guests like the spread a lot.

It was a pleasure working Kumar from Rangoli from start to finish. From menu selections to the serving table layout and coordinating with the venue, they did a great job for us. They were able customize all the food for us and they very flexible in accommodating our requests. Kumar has a very calming nature and he takes care of everything methodically. He had worked with venue we picked so that made it very easy for us. Everything worked perfectly and flawlessly. We would not hesitate to recommend Rangoli for any events small or large.

Awesome experience with Kumar/Rangoli for our wedding weekend!
Kumar & Rangoli catered three events for us (Sangeet/dinner, Breakfast & Lunch on Wedding day) and did an excellent job. There were no hiccups during the big weekend, even though we had quite a large crowd of ~250. The planning process was smooth, he brought us in for a delicious tasting and catered specifically to our South Indian tastes (this is rare for the area, especially to find a caterer that travels, our wedding was Norfolk, VA even though his restaurant is in Manassas, VA over 3 hrs away). Plenty of our guests commended on his food & service during the weekend. Would definitely recommend him!

My daughters wedding
From the food tasting to our daughter's wedding day, the service from Rangoli Restaurant Run by Kumar Iyer was exceptional. The food was delicious and there were so many options to choose from! Multiple guests at the wedding told me how much they enjoyed their Breakfast and Lunch. Both the food and service at the wedding was quick, friendly, and professional. The best part of this experience is working with Kumar, he made the entire experience memorable. There will be a food review done separately, I want to focus on our experience working with Kumar. From the day we met Kumar and had our first tasting to the wedding it was almost 20 months due to covid, we had to postpone the wedding dates. We had numerous conversations with him via telephone and email. He was reachable and was willing to listen to us and accommodate our needs. Our daughter's wedding was from 7.30 am to 12.00 noon, so we had breakfast and lunch. Kumar was there at 5 am to check on things and make sure the breakfast will be served on time. The quality of breakfast was exceptionally good, by the time i went out there to get my breakfast most of the items were gone. Our guests enjoyed the food and they even took time to let us know the quality of the food. We had a similar situation even at lunch. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a good Indian catering for large events to experience Rangoli service , you will not be disappointed

Great catering service
We had a great experience with Rangoli for our wedding! Not only was the food amazing and staff wonderful to work with, I found them to be so flexible and accommodating (especially considering how our wedding went through a few date changes due to covid). The staff (I worked closely with Kumar) - was obviously very knowledgable about our venue and definitely helped coach me through the process - making sure I asked the right questions to make sure the day went just right. Our day could not have gone more perfectly and we got SO many compliments on the food! Thanks Rangoli!

Superb taste and Quality!
Catered Vegetarian South Indian food ( Breakfast and lunch) for our wedding in May, 2021. The food was extremely tasty and delightful and got praises from all friends and relatives who attended. Mr. Kumar Iyer, listened very patiently to our requirements and specifications (took diligent notes on our comments during the tasting session ) to each one of the dishes and delivered exemplary service. Kudos the chefs and the team who delivered yummy food to our guests and made us feel happy and contended with the quality and great taste. Lunch menu: The milk payasam, Koa Gulab jamoon, Crispy okra, Sambar Rice, Rasam, and Paruppu vada were super tasty and so were the other main entrees: Potato poriyal, Carrot Kosambury, Cucumber Raita, Curd rice, Nan, Paneer Butter Masala, Veg Biriyani, and Papads).
The breakfast was also very good with mouth watering Kajar Halwa, Idli, (special/Yummy Idli podi) Sambar, Chutney, Ven Pongal, Medu Vada, Tea and Coffee). Totally happy and would highly recommend this restaurant for your wedding and other events. Thank you to team Rangoli - Keep up the quality, taste and service always!

Sikh and Anglo-Mexican Bonanza Goes Right with Rangoli
I can recommend Kumar and Rangoli without reservation. He went above and beyond the role of any caterer. I was originally feeling in the dumps after talking to other vendors. They were either super slow in returning communication or offering mediocre food options at extraordinary rates. My first call with Kumar, he spent more than an hour with me. His kind and well versed nature put me at ease. His tastes and culinary expertise exceeded the expectations for my multi-cultural wedding and reception. Kumar also acted above his role, and offered much incite into the wedding industry. He was like one of the boys, guiding me to save w/o sacrificing quality. Our wedding day included breakfast and lunch for 250 people, and dinner for 180 people. All of which was delivered at a 5/5 rating. Please do yourself a favor, cut the heart ache and choose Rangoli!

Totally love Rangoli!!
We knew Rangoli since they were located in southriding, VA. They were always my one of favorite Indian restaurants to dine out/take out. When it came to cater for our wedding we couldn't think of any other restaurants but Rangoli. They catered for all our wedding events. They helped us right from beginning with menu planning and making sure the event went all smooth. Kumar is very awesome and he personally made sure everything was perfect, from food, display and servings. Guests loved the food and the way it was served. Servers were very professional and took very good care of the guests. We would always use them in future and recommend to all our friends. Totally love Rangoli!!

Exceptional Caterer
My family and I loved working with Kumar for our wedding and reception catering! Rangoli catered breakfast and lunch for our traditional Tamil Brahmin wedding ceremony, our reception dinner, as well as dinner during our mehendi/sangeet event. We had an elaborate weekend event with several moving parts and ~300 guests at our ceremony and reception. Kumar is an exceptionally experienced professional who helped us coordinate the necessary logistics, menus, and timelines for all these events. He was timely, professional, courteous to all our guests as well as vendors. He is also incredibly creative and enthusiastic, and is always happy to take on new challenges and help bring your vision to life. We worked with him to create a diverse vegetarian menu across our various events - chaat and dosa stations for the mehendi, a full South Indian thali for the wedding, and North Indian entrees for the reception. The most wonderful thing about working with Kumar is that come the day of the event, the food and drinks run like clockwork in the background while you can focus on other aspects of your event- Kumar takes care of everything to perfection, the set-up and execution are flawless, and the food is always spectacular. Exceptional caterer!
My name is Megha - My family and I loved working with Kumar for our wedding and reception catering! Rangoli catered breakfast and lunch for our traditional Tamil Brahmin wedding ceremony, our reception dinner, as well as dinner during our mehendi/sangeet event. We had an elaborate weekend event with several moving parts and ~300 guests at our ceremony and reception. Kumar is an exceptionally experienced professional who helped us coordinate the necessary logistics, menus, and timelines for all these events. He was timely, professional, courteous to all our guests as well as vendors. He is also incredibly creative and enthusiastic, and is always happy to take on new challenges and help bring your vision to life. We worked with him to create a diverse vegetarian menu across our various events - chaat and dosa stations for the mehendi, a full South Indian thali for the wedding, and North Indian entrees for the reception. The most wonderful thing about working with Kumar is that come the day of the event, the food and drinks run like clockwork in the background while you can focus on other aspects of your event- Kumar takes care of everything to perfection, the set-up and execution are flawless, and the food is always spectacular. Great experience
It was a pleasure to work with Kumar for our wedding catering. The food tasting at his restaurant was great and he had a wide array of options for us to choose from. He was very knowledgeable about what would work and what wouldn’t, and he was familiar with our specific venue and very knowledgeable. He was also able to make some indochinese style dishes for us to mix up the menu. We received lots of compliments on the food and we’re so glad to have chosen rangoli to do our wedding!
