Rangoli catered a lunch after a Hindu wedding ceremony for a crowd of both Indian and non-Indian guests to great success. Kumar was very responsive and helped us plan snacks to keep our guests fed before our ceremony and a later lunch. His team on the day of our wedding was very professional, and the food was delicious. We especially recommend the chai, mango mousse, and live jalebi station! -

We hired Rangoli as the outside caterer for our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner which was held at a Marriott Hotel. Kumar, the owner of Rangoli was exceptionally attentive from the time we signed the contract. He stayed in touch to make sure we were comfortable with the menu and was open to making changes if we needed. On the day of the rehearsal dinner, Kumar and his crew arrived on time and set up everything in style. Our guests raved about the dinner entree items and relished every bit of what was served. It was evident that Rangoli has years of professional experience catering large events with high professionalism. Thank you Kumar! -

Rangoli did an EXCELLENT job catering for our wedding at the Peabody Library. At our tasting, they were very attentive and made sure we made selections that not only we liked, but that our guests would thoroughly enjoy. They were very professional and accommodating of several intricacies/rules involved with our venue and did a greaty job staying on schedule. We love them and our guests loved them! -

Mr Iyer is a very professional and nice person to work with, not only understanding the customer's needs but also pointing out potential flaws in planning suggesting better ones. He is good at listening and offers very flexible accomodations. We had a very pleasant experience with him and would highly recommend them for any catering needs. -

We hired Rangoli for our son’s wedding in Cambridge, Maryland. Kumar was amazing and helped us every step of the way, from our initial call of planning, preparation to execution during wedding. He helped us decide the menu for each event. We had catered total of 8 meal for the wedding between 75 to over 300 people and he served each menu with same high quality of food. Our guest loved all the delicious food items. Kumar provided the topmost service throughout the process. He even helped with setting up a separate table for people who I had ordered home cooked food. I would definitely hire Kumar and his team for any future event. -

Amazing experience, from start to finish!
We recently had our wedding catered by Rangoli and I can't express how amazing they were from start to finish. They were thorough, responsive, experienced, friendly, and just incredible in every aspect. My wife and I planned our wedding ourselves and did not have a day of coordinator. There were so many things that we did not even think of in regard to the planning phase that Kumar guided us through. He asked the right questions, did his due diligence, and resolved several issues that popped up throughout the event so that we could enjoy the wedding. All of this and I haven't even gotten to the food which was absolutely incredible. We had guests whom never had Indian food before, and we also had guests whom grew up on it. Both groups would not stop telling me and texting me how much they loved the food. The chicken 65 in particular was a crowd favorite. I can't recommend them enough. They were very thorough, accommodating ( our wedding was in Davis, WV which is 2.5 hrs away from them) , and went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. They helped us with things that we were planning on doing ourselves, but they went out of their way to do it for us. Everyone, especially Kumar, who we interacted with was extremely friendly and professional. You will not regret getting your event catered by Rangoli, and ours would have been a lot less special without them. -

We really enjoyed Rangoli's Food & Professionalism for my Daughter's Wedding Reception. All of our Guests were really enjoyed the Food that includes, snacks, Main Course, & the Dessert. Rangoli (Kumar) is very Punctual & was also giving good ideas regarding Decorations, Table setup, & Bar Setup. He has very good Bar Tenders (Certified), all of my friends really enjoyed Cocktails & Mocktails. He organized the whole thing. I am really happy that I hired Rangoli & I would really recommend everyone, if you are planning, please contact Rangoli Restaurant. -

Highly professional team with excellent variety and flavor
We catered with Rangoli on two occasions and were not disappointed. The wide selection of cuisines made our life easier. Our guests enjoyed the food and variety, especially their Pink Strawberry Lassi which was a big hit at our event. The quality was more than sufficient , their set up was prompt and professional, and the flavor of each dish was remarkable. We enjoyed working with Kumar as he provided his expertise on how to organize the event, layout, coordinate other services like tent, table and chair rental. This all-in-one service made it an easy and stress-free experience. We will absolutely be catering and dining in with Rangoli in the future! -

We received several compliments from the over 300 guests that attended the cocktail hour and reception at our daughter's wedding at the Lansdowne Resort in Virginia. The food was very tasty and the variety of items was excellent. The display of the food items and especially the appetizers and dessert section was the best i have seen at any wedding. The Staff and Management of Rangoli spent a lot of time with our family in deciding the items and the taste for the items. In the end, the food came out really good. -

We recently had the pleasure of working with Rangoli for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial tasting to the final event, Kumar and his team at Rangoli delivered exceptional service, professionalism, and—most importantly—incredible food.
Kumar was attentive, responsive, and highly knowledgeable about regional Indian cuisines, which made planning our menu a real collaboration. He took the time to understand our preferences, dietary restrictions, and the cultural nuances of our event as we were trying to mesh Malyalee and Bengali Cuisine.
On both days of events, Rangoli’s team was punctual, organized, and courteous. The food was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the Palak Chaat, the Poori's, and the goat curry! The dessert spread was equally impressive, especially the addition of mishti doi and chom chom to the fan favorite mango mousse!
Overall, Rangoli went above and beyond to make our celebration memorable. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine and a vendor you can trust, we highly recommend Rangoli and Kumar! -

We hosted our 150-guest Indian fusion wedding in September 2024 and needed a caterer that could do both crazy good Indian food and also make some good old fashioned meat and potatoes for the American palate. Kumar stood out from the competition, because he can literally do anything you want. He not only owns an indian restaurant, but also an American cafe, and has access to both kitchens for his catering business. So it was no problem to have palak paneer and lamb vindaloo alongside pizza fresh from a pizza oven, and steak and potatoes cooked fresh and medium rare. On top of that, his price was super competitive and his communication and flexibility were top notch. He knows the wedding business, and he knows a lot of people, so he'll also gladly help you scope out other vendors and venues, which was very helpful for us when we were planning our fusion Sangeet party as well. Overall, very pleased! -

We recently (Dec, 2024) catered food for our daughter’s wedding from the Rangoli restaurant located at Manasas, VA, both for the Sangeeth and Mehendi event, and the main wedding day. The service, quality and taste of the food and the entire experience for not just us but all our guests was amazing. Mr. Kumar not only worked with us to create a custom menu catering to our unique religious needs without compromising the taste but delivered over and beyond our expectations. He offered guidance, worked with us every step of the way and took care of every detail including packing left overs and ensuring every guest had eaten and was satisfied. His team is professional and the entire crew does a fabulous job. We were extremely satisfied and happy!! -

Very happy we chose Rangoli as the caterer for our son’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD. Mr. Kumar created delicious south Indian, north Indian and fusion menus for our various events including special Karnataka style food. He was easy going, attentive to our needs, open to feedback, and provided great suggestions for improvement and cost saving. He also had a very good relationship with the venue mangers which made everything run smoothly. We enthusiastically recommend Rangoli for anyone looking for multi-cuisine wedding catering, especially Karnataka style food! -

We had an incredible experience with Rangoli Caterers. The owner Kumar was very kind and flexible with our menu and even with our short deadline. Our guests loved the food and have been speaking about it every time we see them. The menu was curated both for Indians and American, and it was a delight to our palette. Highly recommend their service.
