Best Wedding Decision
We got married in April so this review is long overdue but I still think back to our day and how perfect this place was. We love nature and wanted to be surrounded by it on our wedding day. This was the only outdoor venue we toured that moved us and made us feel something. It wasn't manicured like most of the others. It has a secret garden feel that is stunning and unpretentious. Morgan and Sandy are the best – genuine, so kind, flexible with multiple date reschedules (we booked before the pandemic), patient with our countless emails, and put their heart into this property. So many of our guests said how amazing the place was and unlike any other wedding they had been to. I loved seeing everyone in all of the areas – people were feeding animals, using the ping pong table, dancing under the stars on the dreamiest dance floor. The ceremony site is beautiful and intimate – my partner and I had a private dinner under the oak tree which is one of my favorite memories. This place just gives off the best vibes and our friends and family were feeling it too. Everyone looked so happy, relaxed, and really let loose. -

We loved the Rambling Rose!! It's such a dreamy venue, and Morgan and Sandy are wonderful to work with. The old oak ceremony site and dance floor were exactly what we wanted, and we got so many compliments from people who loved all the unique spaces! We did hardly any decorating because the space is already so awesome. I know they're planning on having bathrooms soon, which will be a great addition, although the Luxury Loo worked fine. The only issue was a miscommunication on being able to replace the green benches with white chairs at the ceremony site (we had talked about it when we booked the venue and then were told the week of that it wouldn't be possible without an extra fee), so I'd suggest checking back in early if you want to make any changes. We'd absolutely recommend the Rambling Rose to anyone looking for a magical outdoor wedding spot! -

Beautiful backyard garden vibes!
My wife and I booked Rambling Rose for our vow renewal celebration right before COVID hit. We ended up having to reschedule twice and Morgan & Sandy were both understanding and kind throughout a time that I know must have been really hard on them. The property is a stunning outdoor ranch with farmhouse vibes and a large hanger that can be used as the rain contingency plan. There’s beautiful character throughout the property and no words I can put together will do it justice, so please go see it for yourself. There are bride and groom suites to get ready in, both of which have air-conditioning. Other than Morgan & Sandy, our favorite living things on the property were the friendly animals who love carrots and apples - they have horses, goats, donkeys, chickens, and a pig. Rambling Rose provides portable restroom trailers, which are actually really nice and air conditioned. They also took care of arranging for security during our open bar hours. Lastly, as long as there isn’t a burn notice, they offer a fire-pit option, which they manage throughout the night for you. We did a s’mores station for our party which was a hit and a great space for your guests to visit and wind down in-between or after hitting the dance floor.

What Wedding Dreams Are Made Of!!
Rambling Rose Ranch is amazing! Morgan and Sandy have done an incredible job of cultivating a space that is perfect for beautiful events! My husband and I got married there in May and we had planned to have everything outside, but it started raining 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, so we had to scramble to get everything inside of the arena! The arena is so pretty and it worked out perfectly! Rambling Rose is a little ethereal slice of fairy/Texas heaven! Morgan and Sandy are amazing hosts and artists and their customer service and venue are a direct reflection of the pride and dedication they give to their craft! -

Beautiful Venue!
Morgan and Sandy were so flexible throughout the whole process. I loved working with both of them. We had to reschedule twice due to covid, and they stuck with us. The venue was absolutely beautiful the night of my daughter's wedding. It was all we had hoped for, and then some. The lighting and greenery makes for a beautiful, outdoor, evening ceremony. I would definitely recommend them to all future brides. -

Covid Wedding made lovely
When your daughter gets married, you want to do everything you can to give her the wedding of her dreams! This venue gave her that and more. The comments I have received from those who attended the wedding and those who see pictures have used words like “magical”, “beautiful”, “gorgeous”, etc. The tree at the ceremony site is gorgeous. The barn, the reception area, the bar area... the animals...all made for such an experience that exceeded our hopes and dreams.
Morgan (co-owner) was spectacular in helping us sigh suggestions for bartenders, taco truck, rentals...vital as we were planning this wedding from Houston and so didn’t know local companies. Her suggestion of a taco truck and bartender yielded yummy food and drinks that left everyone more than satisfied!
Covid restrictions could‘ve made this a nightmare, but they made it easy!

There are not enough words to accurately describe how beautiful, perfect and wonderful my wedding was at this venue. It was one of the first and easiest decisions I made in my wedding planning process. RRR had absolutely everything I wanted in a venue and it was only 15 minutes from my mom’s house in south Austin which made it even better.
RRR has the perfect rustic and vintage appeal. There are so many cute and unique “photo spots” around the venue that look absolutely gorgeous, including a multicolor Texas sign which photographs gorgeous and vibrant. The greenery surrounding the ceremony site and that dance floor and barn was insanely beautiful. It was so lush and airy at the same time. I always knew I would get married outside and this was more than I had ever imagined. The vines curling around the windows, lights and structure of the dance floor was so romantic and perfect and our photos turned out gorgeous. All of my guests raved about the venue and how it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to.
I can’t think of one negative of Rambling Rose Ranch, it was all so much more than I ever dreamed of, it was like someone saw my dream wedding and then created it just for me.
Morgan and Sandy were awesome to work with, they let us come by the venue any time we needed to, Morgan was so responsive to all of my millions of e-mails as I was planning my wedding from Seattle and was always happy to answer question after question and make the wedding planning process less stressful. They set up the tables and chairs exactly how I wanted them on my day and I didn’t stress on the wedding day because I knew it was all taken care of.
I am SO happy and thankful that we chose Rambling Rose Ranch for our wedding. If you are looking for a rustic, romantic, unique, natural and gorgeous wedding venue with just enough of the Austin “weird” then I highly recommend you do yourself a favor check out Rambling Rose Ranch.

Great for Bridal Portraits
I can't say enough positive things about this wedding venue or the owners as they are super awesome. I am a wedding photographer and I set up bridal portrait session with Morgan as she is such a delight to speak. When we arrived I was shown around the venue and the best spots for photos. My bride loved the space and they had some really great places for bridal portraits. I am very pleased with Rambling Rose Ranch and I plan to photograph more bridal portrait session there. -

This venue is downright magical! The folks that own this spot are so sweet, kind, and completely fair. They have created a BEAUTIFUL place and you can tell it's completely full of love and light! Also, they let me come a few times (neurotic brides rejoice!) to keep looking at it and made me feel completely comfortable. I would highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy oasis to celebrate! -

Working with Morgan and Sandy was a dream! They were very quick to respond and we're patient with my million questions. They've done an incredibly beautiful job with their space...you can really tell how much love they put into everything. Everything there is SO unique and full of personal touches.
All night people were asking how we found their ranch! They seriously thought of everything. The bar is so cute and functional. There's a fire pit on site, ping pong, horseshoes. They also have their personal animals on the property and they were so sweet--everyone was feeding them carrots and apples.
We really had the best time at RRR with our family and friends and I cannot thank you both enough for making our celebration so special. -

Rambling Rose Ranch made our wedding into an absolute dream. We can’t recommend it enough! The space that Morgan and Sandy created is the perfect balance of elegant, whimsical, rustic, and natural. Morgan has a fabulous eye for design and has filled the venue with quaint vignettes and details everywhere you turn. The bridal and groomsmen cabins were tastefully decorated and comfortably outfitted with everything you could possibly want to feel at ease before the ceremony. We chose to get married under the large oak tree and use the vintage light green benches for our guest seating. The site was perfectly situated to let in the dappled evening light which made the ceremony special and romantic. We had our reception in the courtyard. The beautiful gardens, the hanging lights, and the sound of the cicadas in the surrounding trees captured the hill country spirit and created an atmosphere that was true magic. There was a consistent breeze and abundant shade that made the 96 degree day in downtown Austin feel 10 degrees cooler at the ranch. Our guests raved about how beautiful the ranch was (and how cool it felt!). They had a fabulous time exploring the grounds, feeding the ranch animals, making smores at the fire pit, and playing lawn games. While there is no venue in Austin that is quite as stunning or unique as the Rambling Rose Ranch, what makes it even more special are the women who run it. Morgan and Sandy were warm, patient, and flexible with us throughout the whole process. They answered a million of our questions, scheduled multiple walkthroughs with us, and were open to requests and last minute changes. They accommodated a live band, food truck, and charter buses with a genuine smile on their faces. Their passion for their craft is evident both in the way they worked with us and the space they have created. Our wedding exceeded our wildest expectations and we can’t recommend the Rambling Rose Ranch more highly. Book them! You won’t regret it. -

I've gotten so many compliments on how fun and beautiful my wedding was and that was mainly due to the amazing women behind Rambling Rose Ranch, Morgan and Sandy. They went through so much this year when they had to shut down The Inn at Wild Rose Hall and create an entirely new venue, but in my opinion, the new space is sooo much better! It truly is a unique and beautiful setting and I feel so lucky to be one of the few that have gotten married there! They need help getting the word out about their gorgeous place, so if you know of anyone getting married or just throwing an event in the Austin area, please let them know about Rambling Rose Ranch!! -

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married than Rambling Rose Ranch! It is a stunning venue that added so much warmth, beauty, and fun to our wedding. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories that it hosted and all of the work that Morgan and Sandy did to create such a special day.
Morgan has created an extraordinary atmosphere with Rambling Rose Ranch. It is exceptionally warm and inviting. The way they “brought the outside in” by combining natural beauty with the property made it feel like an intimate wedding in our own backyard. Their creative touches give this venue a soul — from the stunning wooden door to the bride/groom cabins and cute animals. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location for our wedding.
Morgan was also a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. From our very first day touring the venue, her down-to-earth attitude and easy confidence made us feel welcomed. She and Sandy not only created an amazing venue, but worked so hard to make our particular day special. We cannot thank them enough for all of their support and hard work.
Rambling Rose Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location, inviting atmosphere, or more wonderful people to work with! -
Annie Sent on 05/19/2018Morgan has created a wonderful wedding venue - we could not have imagined anything better. The property is covered in gorgeous oak trees, succulents and flowers, and filled with tasteful decorations and landscaping features that truly come from Morgan's heart. There are endless locations for photos featuring the greenery and reclaimed items, and the nearby stable has Morgan's own horses and goats to pet and feed. It didn't feel like other venues we visited with fake barns and ranch paraphernalia - this felt completely real and natural, like we had the wedding in our own backyard.
Morgan and Sandy have worked incredibly hard on this property to make it special. The dance floor was surrounded by hanging lights, and the ceremony was held under a beautiful oak tree. The groom's cottage and bride's cabin were perfect for getting ready in comfort on the day of the wedding.
We couldn't be happier with Rambling Rose Ranch. Morgan is a delight to work with, the property and atmosphere are gorgeous, and the location is just 15 minutes from downtown but feels like you're in the hill country. If you're looking for a relaxed hill country wedding run by locals who are truly passionate about creating a special experience, you have to visit Rambling Rose Ranch! -

I really don't know where to begin or how to put into words how truly amazing Morgan is and how absolutely magical the Inn at Wild Rose Hall is. Morgan is literally a fairy godmother!!! First of all, one of the main reasons we picked the venue we did, and we looked at A LOT in Austin, is because of her. She is only venue owner we met who just exudes passion and truly cares about making your wedding dreams come true. She was kind, helpful, responsive, accommodating and just overall AMAZING. However, that's just the beginning. The venue itself has this beautiful enchanted garden/forest ambiance with so much gorgeous greenery, oak trees and little tucked away seating areas. The outdoor ceremony area was PERFECT for pictures and completed our colors and theme so well. The twinkle lights in the reception hall and on the trees added to the woodsy but elegant romantic feel of the wedding. Because of how gorgeous everything was, people literally could not stop talking about how breathtaking the venue was, everyone thought we spent double what we did on our wedding. And finally, Morgan literally saved our wedding when she stepped in to do our floral and decor design when our florist fell through 10 days before the wedding. The designs she created were even more beautiful than we could have imagined and captured perfectly the ethereal, dreamy, romantic and woodsy vibe we had envisioned. Morgan and the Inn at Wild Rose Hall is hands down the absolute best wedding venue in Austin and the Hill Country, I'd recommend it to anyone!

They provide basic table linens, security and set up the tables and chairs for you. It's also an incredibly beautiful venue! Everyone said that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Between the lush vegetation, the lights in the trees, the multiple seating areas, and the carefully curated decor, they have created an amazing venue that I would be happy to recommend to any couple looking for a venue in the Austin area. The location is also great. It's far enough out of town that you get that country feel, but close enough in that it's convenient for travelling guests. -

We are so fortunate to have found such a beautiful treasure deep in the Texas hill country. All of our guests continually tell us how beautiful and unique the wedding was and it's all because of the venue. Morgan is extremely flexible, helpful and accommodating in all areas of planning but most importantly she genuinely loves her job. If it's in her power she will do anything to make her clients happy. Kerri Sent on 05/05/2011I am SOOO pleased with my decision to have my wedding at the Inn. I received a ton of compliments from my guests on my choice of venue. It is just lovely, casually elegant, very Texan...basically everything I was looking for. My bridesmaids and I stayed over the night before (after holding the rehearsal dinner there as well) to decorate. But really it is so naturally beautiful that we didnt have to do much. The Bride's Room made me feel pampered and very much like The Bride! The other bedrooms were quite nice as well. Morgan Jakson, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend The Inn at Wild Rose Hall to anyone looking for a gorgeous, versatile indoor/outdoor venue. -

Stephanie Sent on 04/23/2013The Inn at Wild Rose Hall was the perfect setting for our December 2012 wedding. If you're wanting a casual Texas elegance feel for your special day, this is it! Depending on how you decorate, you can make this setting more casual or more elegant -- but you can mostly leave it alone b/c the grounds are so beautiful and well taken care of by Morgan, the owner of the venue. You can tell that Morgan really cares about her venue. Between the time we took our 1st tour to our wedding day a little over 1 year later, she made several upgrades to The Inn that made it even better than what we were expecting!
Morgan was awesome to work with! She was very nice, welcoming, and usually responded to emails within 48 hours (there were some hiccups during our email exchanges, but 90% of the time she was prompt). Morgan also had several helpful suggestions to how the flow of the wedding should be in our final walk through with our day-of coordinator. Another pro is that Morgan doesn't force you to work with any particular vendor. J & I had the freedom to choose all of our vendors on our own (though Morgan can give you suggestions if you need help). It rained in the early morning of our wedding day, but fortunately everything dried by our brunch-time outdoor ceremony. However, even if the rain continued, we could have moved our ceremony into the covered veranda or the great room of the house.
The bridal suite was very romantic and feminine while the groom's room was very dark and masculine - they were comfortable and made for great photos! I'm probably forgetting so much about all the little details of this venue b/c my wedding day passed by unbelievably fast but trust me when I say that this was an awesome venue and Morgan was a pleasure to work with! -

We had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch in November 2022. From the moment we visited RR, we fell in love with the whole vibe of the place. The energy there is amazing and we knew immediately it was where we wanted to get married. The venue itself is beautiful. There is so much nature and the reception area and dance floor are just gorgeous. Unfortunately, it was freezing on the night of our wedding, so we ended up having our reception under the structure. I was bummed that we didn’t get to use the dance floor too much (it's so beautiful and picturesque) , but we were so grateful they had this covered area because otherwise our guests would have been absolutely freezing. Sandy and Morgan were wonderful throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were patient with our many anxious site visits and answered all of our questions. We never got to meet Morgan in person (although she was lovely over email), but Sandy was always wonderful to talk to and put us at ease each time we visited. Our pictures came out amazing! There are so many cute little areas to take pictures here, and they photograph so well. We would 100% recommend Rambling Rose Ranch to anyone looking to have a beautiful outdoor wedding. Rustic Romance at Rambling Rose Ranch!
Rambling Rose Ranch is a beautiful & unique (wedding) venue underneath the stars in the peaceful Texas Hill Country. Being located so close between Austin & Dripping Springs, you really do get the best of both city life & hill country vibes. The grounds are authentic and romantic, and allows it's clientele to change up the space with how they envision for their special day. Personally, I favored the ability to bring in our own vendors, decor, and so forth. My fiance and I were looking for a space that did not feel like your typical commercial wedding hall, and Rambling Rose Ranch was just that! Not to mention all the outdoor space allowed our guests to feel more comfortable and it felt more casual while still like a party & special celebration in my fancy wedding dress & blinged out boots. Morgan & Sandy were wonderful to work with and I feel blessed to have had them on my side during all the shenanigans that covid & 2020 threw my way. -

We realllly thought we had found the PERFECT venue. It was nice, yah…but we sort of felt like we weren’t that important. You’ll see from the pictures Morgan didn’t take down the dead Jasmine from the crazy snow storm. Yes-we get that is uncontrollable, but the dead Jasmine realllly took over our photos and the vibe, as you can see in those photos. She mentioned to us that she left it up because of a bird nest. I LOVE nature and animals and good vibes, but there were different alternatives that didn’t leave massive amounts of dead plants being on the focal point of our venue. That dance floor didn’t have to look so very dead. We paid 5000 dollars so we expected and hoped for more.
The air conditioning in the getting ready suites are window units. They didn’t get turned on before our arrival at 2pm. The rooms never cooled off. The A/C in the groom’s suite was working properly, it was just such an old unit and a hot room to start: it never had a chance to be cool.
Thennnnn, the A/C in my bridal suite was never blowing cold air…. Again, it wasn’t turned on before we got there at 2pm either. Then, to help with the broken AC, Sandy came and gave us a huge room fan that honestly didn’t help. Problem was, they told us that the only other unit they had to help myself and my bridal party not sweat to death was keeping their animals in their home cool. So if the one we had didn’t work we would need to steal it from their pets?
On-top-of-that, we had a “crazy aunt” leave a 2 star review for RRR from attending our wedding. (RRR brought up her review
On their Social media channels) We woke up to an email the day after our wedding from Morgan asking how we enjoyed it. We were honest…and she just never bothered to respond.
We didn’t feel like RRR went out of their way to accommodate our day. It felt like we wrote them a check and they did what they had to.
When they had opportunities to show up for us and make our day special, we didn’t feel like that happened. -
