  Amazing Hair and Makeup Service

  Natalie, Allan, Sarah, Tanya, and Raphael were the dream glam squad for myself and all my bridesmaids + parents on our wedding day! They were fun, enjoyable, easy going, and of course excellent hair and makeup artists. We wanted to make sure we found a hair and makeup team that accentuated everyone’s natural beauty and avoided making everyone looked like clowns. The Rae Cosmetics team was perfect! Our whole crew looked beautiful, and most importantly, everyone felt amazing!

  Beautiful Makeup

  I hired Rae Cosmetics to do my Makeup for my Wedding Day. Rochelle and her team did an amazing job on my Bridal Makeup & Makeup for my Bridal Party. Everyone looked so beautiful. I highly recommend Rae Cosmetics!

  Hair and Makeup Perfection!!!

  Shelley and Allan were a joy to work with on both my trial day and our wedding day - they did hair and makeup for myself along with my three sisters, best friend, and niece - all within 4 hours. And they did everything BEAUTIFULLY and made the entire process relaxing and fun! They put me immediately at ease, and they both are so incredibly talented. The makeup itself is a work of art in itself - my face looked no different at 3am the next morning than it did at 11am on wedding day, and now afterward my skin just feels refreshed and is still glowing. Thank you Rae Cosmetics!!!

  Everything was fantastic. We originally wanted to be at the store location for our makeup and hair but at the last minute decided to have them come to the venue. They were great and very professional. Would highly recommend them again.

  I originally saw the advertisement in austin bride about rae cosmetics sweat proof makeup, so I decided to try for my engagements first. And I fell in love with my makeup. I instantly paid a deposit for my wedding day. Shane was my MUA and he brought over someone to help with my bridesmaids. They visited us on site, and everything went awesome. Everyone looked beautiful and I can tell you, that makeup lasted ALL night!!

  The ladies at RAE Cosmetics are absolutely fabulous in every way! I originally had booked only makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. However, after my makeup trial with Lacey and a disappointing hair trial with someone else, I just HAD to choose RAE for hair as well. Something just clicked with Lacey and I could not have been happier. Anastasia is who I dealt with over email and phone and she made the process extremely easy! Thank you all for making me look gorgeous on my wedding day!

  Lacey and her team at Rae Cosmetics did the hair and makeup for me and my sisters and mother for my wedding and it was great! We had a great time talking and we were done before we thought we would be, so that was nice. They definitely listened to what we wanted and we looked great. It definitely was a bit pricey, but worth it for me.

  Lacey Fuentes was our makeup consultant and we were extremely happy with her! She did a great a job on our makeup, but even more importantly- she was a great person to be around! I love her energy. She is genuine and sweet. Very happy with her!

  I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Rae Cosmetics at a friend's wedding earlier in the year and booked them almost 2 weeks later for both hair and makeup. Their makeup stayed on all night long, despite the fact that I was waterworks during the ceremony and then a dancing machine later in the evening. They came to us in our hotel suite was such a convenience and every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. The artists were all so much fun to be around and seamlessly integrated into our girl group. Their makeup quality is unparalleled and with a longevity that is necessary for your big day. The hair, which they contract out, was FLAWLESS. I was in love. I wouldn't use any other vendor in Austin except for Rae when it comes to makeup and hair.

  The Rae cosmetics team was excellent! They did a beautiful job on me, the bridesmaids and moms! They were also very fleixble with a last minute change in plans, and were willing to come on location to do our makeup!

I got dressed in a room with no AC, walked 1/8 mi in the hot, muggy afternoon weather, and danced for 3 hours in an only-slightly-air-conditioned room, and my makeup looked just as amazing as it had when she did it seven hours earlier.

  I used Rae for my bridal hair and makeup, and they did an absolutely flawless job. I had Shelly for my hair, and Allan for my makeup. I have really sensitive, acne prone skin, but their products are amaze and did not irritate my skin at all. The makeup looked so natural (not caked on), lasted all night, and actually made my skin feel smoother afterwards. Shelly gave me exactly what I wanted for my hair, and was in direct contact with me between my trial and wedding day to make sure we were on the same page with my look.   Aubree did my wedding makeup and I got so many compliments! I normally wear very understated makeup, and the look she gave me provided the extra polish and drama I wanted for my wedding while still looking "like me". The products she used were very flattering and stayed put through a long evening of dancing.

I showed her some pictures and gave her guidance for makeup that I wanted to look like me but dressed up (since I usually don't wear much makeup). She was also very pleasant to work with and gave me great tips for every day wear. It was actually cheaper than I expected for all of the hard work and high quality. In order to reserve your date, you pay a $25 deposit for each service you have (ie. hair and makeup). Use Rae for your wedding! You won't be sorry.

  Anastasia & Lacey are not only gifted and passionate about what they do, but they bring so much fun to the bridal suite on wedding day. They kept the energy up and engaged with my entire bridal party. They truly are a dynamic duo and I'm so thankful that they were able to make my day so special, and beautiful!

  I definitely recommend the dry run...I almost didn't do it because they charge the same amount for a dry run as they do for the actual day. We went with a darker make-up (I was cool with that...curious what it would look like) but it ended up looking really bad on me as the day went on (not their fault...I just don't look good in dark make-up). On the day of my wedding, I was able to give more detailed instructions. I had to request that some things be redone since their version of 'natural' is different from mine. :) Overall the make-up held up well all day and very little touch-up was required.

  I went to Rochelle Rae salon back on August 16, 2007 to confirm and pay for a deposit for my bridal hair and makeup session on Oct. 14, 2007. I have all of my correspondence emails. At the salon on Aug. 16, I did a consultation with my hairstylist Rafael (and he did a mini-sample updo) and met the owner Rochelle Rae and my makeup person April Monroe. I also paid my deposit that day to hold my space for Oct. 14 at 10am.
  
  On Oct. 13 (one day before my wedding), I called the salon to confirm my 10am appointment. Then, on Oct. 14, I showed up at the salon at 9:45am and waited...and waited...and waited, leaving 3 messages at the business. The salon was closed, and no one showed up. What stress on my wedding day! I had to call approx 20 salons to try and get an emergency appointment right then and there for bridal hair and makeup. Later that day when I arrived at my wedding, I learned that my wedding coordinator had called the salon earlier that week also to confirm my appointment.
  
  When April (the makeup person) finally called me a couple of hours later, she said that she had no record of the appointment and that the last email she saw was that I was coming in to talk to her and that she didn't receive a deposit from me. I paid the deposit to her, and I have the email chains and the deposit receipts so this doesn't make sense. She said that she was sorry and would refund my deposit. A little later, Rochelle (the owner) called to apologize and said that she would personally do my make-up (too late...already ruined my wedding day) and refund my deposit.
  
  When I returned from my honeymoon, I checked my credit card balance on Oct. 23 (9 days later) and I still HAD NOT received a refund of my deposit. I wrote a letter to the BBB that night, and then only after that received an apology letter and a refund of my deposit. Terrible service!
