Rachel was so amazing to work with! She did the hair for myself, my bridesmaids, my mother in law, and my nieces (flower girls). Rachel was everything you want out of a vendor. She was professional, a good communicator, organized, and very talented! She really talked through what I was looking for during the hair trial and even tried a few different things like bangs down or back so I could she what I liked best. When the wedding day came around, we had her and a second person to help prep. She came on time and was very efficient with her work. Everyone’s hair was truly amazing and looked exactly like their inspo photos. Myself as the bride, my updo didn’t budge even a little until the after party rolled around, but didn’t look stiff either! On top of her many talents as a vendor, Rachel was also just an incredibly fun person to interact with, and made everyone feel so comfortable, young and old. I would highly recommend Rachel for your wedding day! -

Rachel is amazing
I met Rachel in 2021 when she did our hair for my friend’s wedding. I loved her work and her personality so much that I just knew I HAD to have her do my hair and my bridal party’s hair for my wedding. Rachel is literally one of the nicest people I have ever met and she is so much fun to be around! Her work is amazing. I have thick but fine hair and she worked her magic! My hair held up pretty much the entire night, even with all the dancing and sweating. She is amazing and you will not regret booking her! -

Incredibly professional and wildly talented
Rachel was fantastic! She did both my hair and makeup for my summer wedding, and she did such an amazing job. She really made everyone in the party feel their best!! My makeup and hair held up beautifully all evening.

Just adding to the many, many voices praising Rachel. Not only is she so kind and fun, she's also a total professional who's super reliable and knowledgeable (really important when you're stressing about everything wedding-related). Rachel did a great job with my hair as well as my bridesmaid's hair, and everyone's looks stayed through hours of dancing and sweating. She also left me a personalized bag with extra hair clips, gum, etc. Book Rachel for your wedding! (In advance!). -

Rachel was absolutely incredible. She did my hair and bridal parties hair on my wedding day and we all looked absolutely stunning. Peoples hair stayed all night long despite a lot of dancing and the July heat. My girls loved the questionnaire and getting a truly personalized style. Some of my bridesmaids had been in several weddings just in the past year, and they agreed Rachel was the best hair artist they had worked with. Seriously, she is so worth every single penny. I cannot recommend her enough. -

Rachel and her team are worth every extra penny. Not only is her work a step above everyone else's in the wedding hair game but from the first communication she makes everything easy. I had one trial before I met with Rachel and there truly was no comparison. She is extremely organized and punctual and I didn't ever think twice about anything regarding my hair on the big day because I knew I was in great hands. I can't thank her enough and literally all 8 of the girls who got their hair done loved their hair which is the most impressive feat. She did amazing with all different textures and hair styles and is truly an artist. Do not hesitate to book with her there's a reason she is booked out a year in advanced! She also is the most down to earth, chill, kind person which is the cherry on top. Thank you for everything!! -

Look no further….you absolutely NEED to book Rachel for your wedding or special event!!! Rachel is one of the best professionals I have ever worked with! I was an “out of town” bride who could not experience a makeup and hair trial for my wedding but Rachel made me feel so at ease! She is so detail oriented and pinned down the perfect boho-romantic look for me which is EXACTLY what I wanted. She was so overly prepared from the first time I reached out to her through our wedding day. Rachel had prepared custom makeup and hair packs for us, with our names in gold, to take with us incase we needed to fresh up. But let me tell you, there was no freshening up because our makeup stayed so beautifully and hair perfectly in place without feeling like I had a head full of hairspray! On top of the fact that I walked down the aisle IN THE POURING RAIN and still looked amazing after!!!! I can’t tell you enough how much I love Rachel as a kind professional, supporter and new found friend. I highly recommend her for all your hair and make up needs. She is AMAZING and TALENTED! ❤️ -

I cannot recommend Rachel Rizzo Hair and Makeup enough - Rachel is extremely talented, organized, and a blast to be around. From our first interaction it was clear that Rachel has extensive experience in the wedding industry and will make sure that on your big day the two things you will NOT have to worry about are: 1) looking incredible and 2) being on schedule. Did I mention she also one of the warmest, funniest, and kindest people you will meet while planning your wedding? Well there's that too! After I booked hair for myself and wedding party with Rachel, she sent me a detailed survey to get a sense of the look I was going for and then made me a MOOD BOARD of hair options along with pros and cons for my top picks. I also booked a trial with Rachel which I would highly recommend so you can see how your hair will look with the style you want. Last, my bridesmaids were blown away by her attention to detail. Yes, they too got surveys that asked about the look they wanted and also their hair types so Rachel knew how to prep them so their styles stayed put for the whole day. We had a blast getting ready with Rachel and everyone looked stunning the whole day but the best part was being able to feel carefree and just enjoy the morning of my wedding with close friends knowing we were in the hands of a caring and talented professional. -

Had the BEST experience with Rachel for my wedding in May. She was one of the easiest, nicest most flexibile vendors I worked with.
It's my best friends turn to get married and we are of course going with Rachel again. No question.
Most of my bridesmaids had never had their hair professionally done before and she made us all feel so comfortable.
Such a talented, wonderful artist. Can't wait to have her do my hair again! -

I was married in the middle of covid and Rachel was so accommodating with the never ending changes. For my trial she did two styles and helped me pick the one that would look best. I even tried on my dress and held a fake bouquet of flowers to get the full picture. On wedding day she was amazing and made me feel exactly the way a bride should, like a queen!! My bridesmaids and mother in law all had different styles and she didn’t miss a beat. She worked great with my makeup team (luxe and lavish beauty) and made that part of my day stress free. She listened to what I wanted and made my wedding pony come to life! On top of all of that she is hysterical and a great person to have around on your wedding day! I would highly recommend her! -

Before I even met Rachel, I knew I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding! I was a bridesmaid and she had sent a questionnaire, which I thought was so thorough and reflected her dedication to ensure she was providing the best service to meet the clients needs. Once she did my hair for the wedding I was in, I knew I would not trust my wedding hair to anyone else. When I came to my wedding, she was a superstar. I mean it. The way I envisioned my hair, she nailed it. It stayed up all night, I probably could have slept in it and it would of been perfect come the morning. Rachel is not only truly talented at WHAT she does, she is overall awesome. Her personality lights up a room and she really does put you ease at your wedding day and all things between. She truly dedicates her time to each client, puts forth a great deal of effort getting to know them and perfecting their look. Rachel was communicative and promptly responsive. She books quickly, so I highly recommend booking sooner than later. My only wish is that I could have Rachel do my hair everyday ! -

Nicest and most organized hair dresser ever!
Rachel is an absolute gem! She is super professional, responsive, patient and just the sweetest person! She made my two weddings (thank COVID!) the best experience and made the big party in 2021 just so seamless with her organization. She will work with you and your wedding party to come up with a style you like or open your eyes to something totally different. She helped me decide what yo do with my hair and styled it around both of my dresses and florals. She also made my bridesmaids look like movie stars this year! Would recommend times a billion, she is wonderful!! -

Rachel is an absolute gem. She is very easy to work with and so sweet. You can tell she loves what she does and wants every bride to feel beautiful on their special day. I was planning my wedding during the pandemic and Rachel was so quick to respond to any emails. I had to postpone and it was no problem at all. She even made a day of timeline which made everything run so smoothly. We had a blast. :) I truly cannot recommend her enough. My hair and makeup stayed all day and looked perfect. 💕 -

I first reached out to Rachel back in 2019 knowing I NEEDED to book her for my wedding, and I’m SO grateful I did! Not only did she create flawless styles for myself, bridesmaids and moms, but she was also the most fun and easiest person to work with! Throughout the whole planning process, trial, and my wedding day, Rachel was nothing but the most professional. I’d also highly recommend scheduling a hair trial with her. I thought I knew 100% which style I’d go with but then come trial day that completely changed. Rachel was always so patient with me and always answers all my questions. She’s extremely knowledgeable and handled everyone’s hair on my wedding day with ease. From short styles to long, she can do it all!

What struck me about Rachel right from the start was how professional she is. She was very thorough in her pre-screening questionnaire, and I feel like her attention to these details showed in my hair and make-up trial. She was receptive to my style, honest about what worked for me and what didn’t, and ultimately made me look incredible! And she was effectively able to reproduce this look for my special day. On my wedding day, Rachel made my day so much easier and kept me laughing. She is excellent at reading a room, and even has amazing playlists ready to go! As someone who doesn't wear make-up regularly, I was nervous, but Rachel put me right at ease and made me look like myself. My hair and make-up both stayed put for the entire day and night, and Rachel even provided me with a personalized touch-up kit, which I thought was a very nice touch! As far as Covid-19 protocols go, Rachel provided me with a screening questionnaire, followed the regulations carefully, and wore the proper PPE. Rachel was very communicative throughout the whole process, and I was SO happy with my look! I highly recommend Rachel Rizzo Hair and Make-Up! -

Made me feel beautiful!
I highly recommend Rachel Rizzo for makeup! I had an awful time trying to find a makeup artist in the midst of planning a wedding during a pandemic, and Rachel was amazing! She was incredibly thorough and worked to get to know me and what style/look I wanted for my wedding day. Having never had my makeup done professionally before, I was nervous that I would look 'overdone' or not like myself for my wedding pictures. Rachel put me at ease and I felt so excited for my big day after the trial run! She is friendly and flexible, and she works efficiently and with great attention to detail and cleanliness, and does a beautiful job! I had so many compliments on my look, and the makeup stayed in place all day -except the lipstick, I had to reapply with the travel kit she gave after all the smooching pictures ;) Rachel also did a fabulous job helping my mom and mother-in-law look picture perfect! Oh I don't know where to begin. I reached out to another vendor for this service however they were booked and recommended Rachel. Everyone keep in mind, make up is not my thing on a day to day basis. I don't wear it unless I am going to event which is not often. Rachel does a way more Fabulous Work then I can even dream. From the first email, to the trial run, to the day of the wedding, Rachel was AMAZING to work with. When she asked you to fill out the questionnaire's please do it. It helps her understand exactly what you are looking for.
The trial for the Bride.. She came in and set everything up. Very professional even in today's world. Everything was clean, neat and professional. She got to work based on those question's she asks you. She knew exactly what to do and how i wanted to look. She matched the foundation without blinking an eye. Needless to say, by the time she was done, I went from plain jane beautiful to Hello World Here I Am Beautiful!! I just needed my dress and I would have been ready to roll that day minus the eyelashes..lol (I could not wear them). We had a great conversation while she was working. Well I blabbed the whole time..lol. She even was patient with me when I stopped for a moment to take the a phone call quickly. Just an AWESOME PERSON ALL AROUND to WORK WITH!!!
The Day of the Wedding..Where to start???? I was running around that day getting things together. She provided make up service for my 2 daughters and I. She started with my daughters at my request and by the time she was finished working with them, They went from Beautiful to More Beautiful!!! They had fun and lots of laugh's chatting with her. When my oldest daughter finished, she came and said Ma.. your turn. Like I said I was running around finishing everything. I was a little bit sweaty. OMG Everyone.. Rachel jumped right in.. she took care of everything. She de-sweated my face and got to work. I went from natural beauty to a very stunning, glamorous natural beauty. She did even better than the trial run. Dont know how that was possible but it was her magic touch, fingers, and creativity. Rachel even gave me a little goodie bag with my name on it and some extras in it. Very Cute and Awesome. The make up lasted right through until the next day when I washed it off.
As far as price is concerned i will not disclose that info. I will say..it was worth it and then some.
If you are looking for someone to give you everything you want, didn't know you wanted, and more, Rachel is the women to be with!!!! Yes she traveled for my wedding. I can not say enough to anyone how wonderful of an experience it was to work with her. If I ever have another event, I will be contacting her again. She makes you feel , when she is working with you, like your the only one in the world. She wants you to be Show Stopper!!! If you have the opportunity like my girls and I did to work with her, please do not hesitate for one moment. Rachel, I thank You 20 times over for that day!!!

Where to begin...Rachel is amazing. I had written another review about her and somehow deleted it and immediately came back on to write one again because she deserves all the praise!
When looking for someone to do my hair for my wedding day, I knew I wanted and needed someone who could do outstanding work but who would also be fun to be with. Let me tell you, Rachel is BOTH - outstanding and fun!
I had a hair trial previous to meeting Rachel with another person and it was awful. My hair looked crunchy and the girl spent 15 minutes on it. I was really stressed out about it and then saw a friend on instagram had used Rachel. I reached out and she was so friendly and we set up a time to do a trial.
From the moment I met Rachel, I knew she was the hairstylist for me! She was funny, kind, outgoing, and so good at what she does. She took the time to go through a bunch of different hairstyles for me and when we got to the one I loved, we both agreed it was it. I really appreciated that she did a few different ones with me and did not rush me through my decision! I immediately bonded with her that day and knew she was it - we booked her!
Leading up to the wedding, I would constantly be emailing Rachel and asking her obscure questions and generally losing my mind. She was always quick to respond and ease my questions and always made me feel better.
Here is one of the best things about booking Rachel: not only did she provide me with a questionnaire to fill out so she knew what I expected and wanted...she also had anyone else who was getting their hair done with her that day (Bridesmaids, flower girls, mother of bride) fill out a questionnaire too! She reached out to everyone individually to see what they wanted for the day of. I have never heard of anyone doing that and it made everyone feel SO special!
The day of, Rachel and her assistant Grace (SO SWEET!) showed up right on time and got ready to work! Grace took care of the two flower girls and did these extremely intricate braids and was so kind and patient with them (8 & 9 year olds!). Rachel SLAYED everyone else's hair and made them look like movie stars.
When I got to sit in the chair and have Rachel do my hair, I just felt serene. I was ready and so trusting in her. She made my hair dreams come true - I really wanted it half up and with a braid and she did just that. It looked absolutely PERFECT in pictures and...held up for the entire day! Rachel was cracking jokes with everyone and laughing along at our weirdness and dealing with my crazy friends & family. Everyone commented on how amazing she was. Not once did someone say they did not like their hair (I have been in plenty of weddings where girls had to have their hair redone 1 or 2 times).
If I ever have another big event or need my hair done, I will not hesitate to call Rachel. I feel like I not only had the best hair of my life but I gained a new friend. If you are getting married or have an event and need a hairstylist....look no further. She's a professional with an incredibly refreshing attitude who will make you entire morning SO MUCH FUN! Thank you Rachel for being the best - we love you! -

Pinterest Dreams CAN Come True
Rachel made my wedding day hair dreams come true! I have thin hair that eventually stops growing. When I found my day of dream hairstyle, I honestly did not see it as a real possibility for myself.
Rachel was AMAZING because she is with you from day 1 of signing the contract to the morning of the wedding and it made my wedding day SO EASY to get ready.
Rachel sent out questionnaires to get a feel for every bridal party member’s style and comfort level. She accommodated requests, but always puts the bride’s vision first.
She will call/meet with you for any questions or concerns you have along the way (which in my case, it was helping me navigate the world of hair extensions and ensuring they were prepped and ready to go).
Rachel met us where we needed her for the morning of, and collaborated with Formelle by Hollee and Laura Amaya Beauty to accommodate our large bridal party - all while keeping us right on schedule.
I am so thankful I stumbled upon Rachel Rizzo because she proved me wrong and made my hair everything I could have hoped.

Where to start? Rachel was phenomenal! Her friendly personality, her attention to detail, her creative stylist abilities! I can go on and on. Rachel did my hair and makeup for my wedding in September and I was incredibly pleased with her work. My hair tends to have a mind of its own but she created a stylish masterpiece that stayed perfect all night and my makeup looked flawless! Hiring Rachel to do makeup for me and my bridal party was easily one of the best decisions I made (for my wedding and for my life in general)! First of all, she is extremely talented and helped everyone looked flawless! She was especially amazing with my mother, who was a first-time false-lash-wearer, and a little anxious about the experience. Rachel is open to feedback and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that everyone is truly happy with how they look--including sending out a survey prior to the wedding day in order to assess everyone's preferences--super helpful!
Her work speaks for itself, but I also need to discuss Rachel as a human. She is so fun to be around and her energy is somehow exciting and relaxing all at once. After my trial with Rachel, I knew that having her in the room with me on the morning of my wedding would help to ensure that the conversations stayed interesting and my nerves stayed calm. -

I booked Rachel and her team for my wedding day hair and makeup and couldn't have been happier! She put me at ease throughout the whole process of scheduling and the day of, by being super responsive and organized. She even made us a detailed day of schedule for every person so we were able to have an earlier and later group travel to the salon. I LOVED my hair and makeup and everything stayed perfect all night. I DEF recommend getting fake lashes! My mom doesn't normally wear makeup and Rachel made sure she was comfortable with everything. -

Everything I could have imagined!
If anything was perfect on my wedding day, it was definitely my hair and makeup. Rachel was awesome to work with-extremely flexible and dealt with my very indecisive personality. I told her I didn’t like my hair all the way up but wanted it somewhat down and not to lose it’s curl. It wasn’t even a thought, she knew exactly what to do and it was AMAZING. I loved my trial so much, I debated having it done again before the wedding! I have A LOT of hair and Rachel was ready by 7 am to ensure we had plenty of time. My makeup also looked incredible and I received compliments all day. I wasn’t sure what I wanted(make-up wise) and let her take the lead and it was perfect. I really can’t say enough about Rachel and my entire experience! She really made my wedding day that much better!

Seamless wedding morning!
Rachel was awesome to work with! She is so organized and thoughtful and had a whole electronic format where she gathered info about myself and the bridal party as soon as we booked with her. I was able to upload photos and let her know a little bit about everyone. She remembered things in detail on the morning of, despite there being so many of us! We had fun, and things were very low-stress with Rachel. She was prompt and fit everyone in with perfect timing. She is also super accommodating and was able to add on a couple people with short notice. And her prices were very reasonable, especially for on-site services. We were all very happy with our hair/make-up and I would definitely highly recommend her! -

Flexible, attentive, amazing service!
I contacted Rachel a few weeks before my special day and she responded within the hour via email. She was incredibly friendly and flexible with the scheduling, and open to whatever I preferred for my hair and makeup. Rachel even squeezed in my best friend last minute for a simple hair-do the morning of. Wonderful experience!
Rachel was fantastic to work with for my wedding - from initial contact, through the trials, and ultimately the day of. I didn't really have any idea what kind of style I wanted to do for my hair, but Rachel came up with a fantastic style that fit with my dress, our venue, and the overall feel of our wedding. For my makeup, I don't typically wear a lot, but she made me feel gorgeous while also making it pretty natural. Most importantly, my hair and makeup still looked good through the end of our reception at 11 pm, despite being done at 11 am.
I'm so glad I found Rachel, she truly made me feel beautiful and put me at ease through the entire process and gave me one less thing to worry about! -

Rachel and her team were one of the best decisions I made in planning my wedding!! Rachel is extremely professional, responsive, thoughtful and fun! Wedding day hair can be stressful, but I can honestly say I did not have any stress the morning of my wedding thanks to her. I know I could trust her and her team completely to listen to what myself and my bridal party wanted. She goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy with their services. Rachel even sends out a questionnaire prior to the big day asking everyone questions about their hair which made girls who have different hair textures feel comfortable and confident knowing the team was coming prepared the day of. Rachel and her team provided hair services for myself, eight bridesmaids and for the mother of the bride and EVERYONE loved their hair - which we all know can be next to impossible. She is creative, talented and worth every penny and more to make sure you have a stress free wedding day and of course to make sure everyone looks amazing. I cannot say enough how happy I am to have chosen Rachel and her team to work with! -
