Personalized, meaningful, and fun interfaith ceremony

Not only did my husband and I both truly enjoy the wonderful ceremony Rabbi Ian conducted, but I had so many friends and family from both sides say it was the best wedding ceremony they’ve ever been to. Some of my non-Jewish friends even said they would want him to officiate their weddings! Very inclusive, better than I ever could have imagined.

WOWZERS!
Rabbi Ian is the one-HIRE HIM NOW AND LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

The energy that he helped create was insane and the entire place was filled with laughter, love and tears of joy. That undeniable energy stayed with us and everyone for the rest of the evening, thanks to Rabbi Ian for kicking it off with a great start!

We felt so honored to have his presence around us on such our special day.
We definitely picked a winner and feel beyond grateful to have found him!

The way he spoke about us individually and then together as a couple, melted our hearts.
He has the best delivery and when he speaks with such candor, such eloquence and not to mention he brings a lightness and sense of humor that we loved! Not only were we impressed but our friends and family bragged about him being the best Rabbi they had ever witnessed in their entire life!

Put it this way....all of our non-Jewish friends came up to us and would say things like, "where do you find him and how can I sign up to be Jewish!!! :)))

Don't waste anymore time-Go meet him now!

Rabbi Ian was everything we could ask for and more! He made our ceremony were intimate and cozy. He definitely calmed our nerves at the beginning as he could sense that we were both a little nervous. He even interacted and engaged with our audience. The ceremony was timed perfectly, not a minute short, not a minute long and he definitely was NOT boring. From myself, my husband and all our guests, the one thing we can't stop talking about is how beautifully Rabbi Ian orchestrated our wedding ceremony.

My husband is not Jewish, so trying to find a Rabbi to wed us was very difficult. Rabbi Ian was amazing. We both felt very comfortable with him. He always responded to our e-mails and phone calls. My mom even enjoyed her phone conversation with him. No-one impresses my dad, and after the ceremony, my dad went 'M.I.A.' as he so enjoyed the ceremony so much, he wanted to go chat with Rabbi Ian. Our wedding was beyond perfect. Not only did my husband and I love the ceremony, our guests did too. We had so many comments on how fun the ceremony was and even a few people tell us that if they renew their vows, they'd want Rabbi Ian. We cannot thank him enough. Rabbi Ian exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for making our day perfect.

Rabbi Ian performed our daughters wedding ceremony in a manner that made all of our guests feel included, whichever their religious beliefs. He was extremely personable, professional and very entertaining and uplifting.

Rabbi Ian did an amazing job officiating our wedding. He took the time to personalize the ceremony and ensure that it was authentic and special for us. We each have a child and wanted to incorporate the family into our ceremony, Rabbi Ian did a beautiful job of this without taking away from the focus of the commitment we were making to each other. It was beautiful. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to!

Rabbi Ian made our wedding very memorable. He has a great sense of humor and uses it perfectly throughout the ceremony. He makes the wedding ceremony very spiritual and involves the guests as well to create a truly special experience. Our family and friends gave us extremely positive feedback as well and thought it was the one of the best ceremonies they had been to--laughter, tears, many smiles. Thanks Rabbi Ian.

We have Rabbi Ian to thank for a truly unforgettable ceremony - more than we could have ever imagined. We felt completely in the moment the entire time. What's more, my husband's family, whom are Catholic and had never experienced a Jewish ceremony, are still raving about Rabbi Ian. When ever did you go to a wedding and the officiate stole the show :)
If you are lucky enough to have Rabbi Ian officiate your wedding, it will be the best thing you can do !
He is so sweet, loving, non judgmental, kind and engaging. After the ceremony, everyone kept asking how we found this Officiate, as he single handedly put forth the best ceremony that our guests, my wife and I have ever been a part of.

Rabbi Ian and Talia of the Pacific Synagogue helped us make sure every detail was covered. Rabbi Ian met with us a couple of times and then had each of us write about the other. The ceremony was so personal, seeming like Rabbi Ian had known us for years.(He did perform the wedding for our daughter 6 years ago!) His stories and explanations were pertinent and endearing, his humor, his demeanor, his voice all contributed to an outstanding performance. It was exactly what we wanted and imagined.

Our guests have told us that it was by far the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed. We agree!

Rabbi Ian recently officiated our wedding on NYE. My wife and I are interfaith, and Rabbi Ian did an amazing job of making all feel welcome, included, and yet still managed to honor both faiths perfectly. He also does an excellent job keeping the perfect atmosphere for a wedding; serious, yet fun, romantic, and at at the right times humorous. All of our guests loved the ceremony, and i would absolutely recommend Rabbi Ian for anyone.

Rabbi Ian did a wonderful job creating a beautiful ceremony for us. I'm Jewish but my husband is not, Rabbi Ian was very careful to make sure that the ceremony was inclusive of both of us and our families. He kept things light and humorous while still maintaining a spiritual and intimate ceremony. All night long guests kept commenting on what a lovely ceremony we had and how great the Rabbi was!

Rabbi Ian did the most amazing job at our wedding. We had an interfaith ceremony and no matter what the denomination, everyone was impressed with him. We had dozens of people come up to us and ask how he knew us so well (given we were from out of town - from Minnesota) and tell us that it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever seen. Rabbi Ian is very unique and really tailored our ceremony to us. He never made us feel rushed through the process and put a lot of effort into making our ceremony perfect.

Rabi Ian did an amazing job with our wedding. He was very personable. He got to know us via skype because we were in Saint Louis planning our wedding. All of our guests were raving about him for months after the wedding. His ceremony tied many aspects together and drew all the guests in.

Rabbi Ian was an amazing officiant at our Interfaith wedding ceremony at Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa! He got to know us before our wedding when we skyped with him, and he met with us in person, and he also sent us some personal questions about our relationship. He did a beautiful ceremony with both Jewish and Catholic traditions. He was entertaining, funny and interactive with our guests. We got so many compliments about how everyone really enjoyed our ceremony and they loved Rabbi Ian as the officiant. Wow Rabbi Ian was THE BEST ceremony decision we ever made! He made our ceremony SO memorable, SO personalized, and SO funny… our guests were in stitches. All of our guests said that our ceremony was the best ceremony they have ever witnessed. Not only is Rabbi Ian hilarious, he is extremely charismatic and engaging- there was never a dull moment in the ceremony. He was an absolute joy to work with and I would recommend him to ANYONE looking to have a very personal, very memorable ceremony. He made our ceremony one that we will NEVER forget!

Rabbi Ian was such an incredible part of our wedding day, and I can't recommend him enough! It has been two months since our wedding, and we're still receiving complements on how enjoyable and touching our ceremony was - and that was all thanks to Rabbi Ian!

He crafted a ceremony that was both incredibly sweet and unique to us as a couple, and was also enjoyable for everyone who attended. He added in so many personal touches into the ceremony and made it really special for us and for our guests.

Rabbi Ian (Adler) officiated our wedding in Palm Springs last month. Nearly a month later, guests still cannot stop talking about our beautiful wedding ceremony and our “wonderful” and “hilarious” rabbi! Everyone wanted to know where we found him, and several guests asked us for his contact information. One friend who attended the wedding joked that he would consider conversion to Judaism if it meant having Rabbi Ian officiate at his wedding! Perhaps even more importantly, Rabbi Ian was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. He was very accommodating to our busy schedules, and provided us with online tools to help us prepare for the big day. Rabbi Ian crafted a heartfelt (and fun!) wedding ceremony that was unique to me and my new husband. We have the highest regards for him and could not imagine a better officiant.

We were so overwhelmed at Rabbi Ian's ability to capture exactly what we wanted. So many times at wedding ceremonies, the words and the vows get overlooked an everyone only remembers the reception. Several people said it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to because of his words, inflection, humor, sentiment, and heart. We will forever remember our beautiful ceremony in large because of Rabbi Ian.

We were looking for a Rabbi that would preform and interfaith wedding for us through our search we found Rabbi Ian. We were so lucky to have found him. He made our ceremony so memorable and personable. It was better then we ever could have imagined. There was not a dry eye in the audience. Rabbi Ian was the talk of the reception and all of our guest thought it was one of the most amazing ceremonies they had ever been to. I would recommend Rabbi Ian to anyone looking for a personal heartfelt ceremony with a bit of humor and awesomness!!!!!

Rabbi Ian is absolutely amazing! We feel so lucky that we found him and were able to have him officiate our wedding! We knew from the moment that we met him and skyped with him that he is truly special and was going to create a ceremony that we will never forget! Rabbi Ian made us feel so comfortable as an interfaith couple and really respected our beliefs. Rabbi Ian created a ceremony and atmosphere that allowed our guests to really see and feel the love between us. Our ceremony was the most memorable part of our wedding and that is how it should be! Every single guest at our wedding made a comment to us about how unique and wonderful our ceremony and Rabbi were! We were all so blown away by Rabbi Ian and the magical feeling he evokes in those around him. We cannot thank Rabbi Ian enough for being a part of the best day of our lives!

We had the pleasure to be wedded by Rabbi Ian and choosing him was one the best decisions we've made while engaged. If you are a Jewish couple looking for a reformed Jewish ceremony while preserving traditional aspects which emphasize best values surrounding love, marriage, partnership and all that's human as well as made personal and entertaining - Rabbi Ian is you rabbi. His humor, which at first might come of as a bit standoffish (think Monty Python), was a great asset and made the ceremony ever so entertaining for all who where present without stilling the show, - which was us. He created a personal ceremony just for us. All of our guest absolutely loved him and mentioned several times this was one of the best wedding ceremonies they've ever been too. Rabbi Ian performed an outstanding service under our chuppah, just make sure it's 8' tall ;) P.S. He made sure the groom did not pass out at the very beginning and helped him relax the rest of the way... slow and deep breaths, people ;)

Rabbi Ian was truly awesome. I am the mother of Jaclyn Maxwell. I was referred to him by a vendor (Arc de Belle). He spent time explaining all the details to me on the phone as well as to my daughter and son in law. He met with them and they were so impressed. The service he peformed was magnificent. Because it was an interfaith ceremony I was worried about how "jewish" it would be and did not want to offend my son in loaw or his family. Rabbi Ian placed all of the focus in the kids and their love and future together. he was extememly thorough in explaining the jewish traditions that we did put into the ceremony and the explanation regarding the Chuppa was fabulous. He did it all with love and humor!! I cannot tell you how many of my guests came to me and told me how wonderful Rabbi Ian was and how beautiful the ceremony was. My mother who is 92 and does not have a Rabbi wants me to use him for her funeral!!!! The grooms parents who are not jewish said that if they were going to convert, that the ceremony would have done that for them. They were extremely happy with the ceremony. It was perfect.

Rabbi Ian was great. Many of our friends said they wanted to get remarried just so they could have Rabbi Ian, even our non Jewish friends. We have been to many weddings and Rabbi Ian has done the best service we have ever been to.

We really wanted someone who would share our vision and personalize our vows. We spent a long time looking for the perfect officiant... and we found that in Rabbi Ian! I can't count how many people came up to us after the ceremony and said that Rabbi Ian was incredible! He blended both my husband's Christian side and my Jewish traditions seamlessly.

Rabbi Ian really catered the ceremony to our personalities. He knew when to make us laugh and when to take the words seriously. I can't put into words how incredible he made our marriage ceremony! We requested the traditional vows and Rabbi Ian put those together from the questions he asked us. They were so perfect, personal, and heartfelt, and really made our wedding amazing!

He also made us laugh so much (he is really, really funny) and made us cherish the moment! At one point he had us turn around and face our guests, it was cool feeling knowing that everyone you love and care about is at one place at one time - and he made us relish that moment! It's those once in a lifetime moments that he helped to create and we've very grateful!

This was truly a great experience for my wife and I. We had spent a long time looking for a Rabbi that would work well with us and be a "good fit" for our personalities and overall "theme" of the wedding.

Rabbi Ian was very attentive and we could tell he had put effort into making our day special and unique to us. Rabbi Ian set the tone during the ceremony for a great reception and overall experience for my wife and I, the wedding party, and our guests.

We couldn't have been happier working with Rabbi Ian and I would absolutely recommend him!

Rabbi Ian was recommended to us by our Wedding planner/Caterer- Neither my husband, or myself are Jewish, so it seemed funny to consider a Jewish Rabbi for our Wedding Ceremony-
Well............. I CAN NOT EVER PUT IN TO WORDS HOW WONDERFUL RABBI IAN IS!!!!!!!
From the first time that I talked to him, I knew he was the one for us! He is an absolutely wonderful human being! Very generous personality, incredibly intelligent, very self assured, yet gentle and kind, tall and handsome, and very funny! He We talked for quite some time, and then spent more time (hours) getting to know each other! He asked my husband and I lots of questions, where and how we met, our thoughts, beliefs, family background, our relationship, what we love most about each other, so much more- We chose to have Rabbi Ian put together our vows, and they were the most amazing vows ever! They were so incredibly personal, romantic, and beautiful! I loved saying every single word that I said and so did my husband. Rabbi Ian included such special traditional Wedding rituals for us to do together and with our family, that with each one, we felt deeper and deeper in love! He did such a great job making our family feel involved and included! I need to mention that Rabbi Ian is also hysterically funny! We had moments where everyone was totally cracking up!!! It was the most joyous, beautiful, fun, and special day that I could have ever dreamed of! Both my husband and myself loved him so much, that we felt like he was a personal friend, and if we lived in San Diego, there would be no doubt that we would be in regular attendance at his church! Him being part of the most important day of our lives, was meant to be! I would recommend Rabbi Ian to everyone that is wanting their Wedding Day to be the most cherished day of their life! Everyone said it was hands down, the best wedding that they have ever been to! It sure was the best day of our lives!!!

What can you say about Rabbi Ian but that he is the GREATEST! He is funny and witty, yet so warm and compassionate that he embraces everyone with his charming smile. Our guests of all denominations were captured by his presence and personalized ceremony. It was truly beautiful, not only touching everyone,but uniting all those who were gathered to celebrate the joy of our daughter's wedding. Everyone raved about the ceremony - they had never seen such a personal wedding filled with so much love. What is better than that! We are actually thinking of flying to San Diego for Rabbi Ian's holiday services - he is THAT GOOD!!!

Rabbi Ian is the best! Personalized ceremony with great presence to hold the audience attention. I got rave compliments from guests if all denominations. Rabbi Ian is able to draw on the shared experience of Jews and Christians to create a service that unites many beliefs. My sister tried to find other options for her Rabbi to be different from me, but every time she asked for a recommendation, everyone sent her to Rabbi Ian. She finally decided he was just the absolute best and couldn't be happier with her decision.

Every single guest came up to my husband and I after the ceremony raved about Rabbi Ian! I knew our wedding was going to be unique and special but he took it to another level. He managed to make Michael and I feel in the moment- there were times where we forgot we had 45 guests staring at us! He was respectful of both our religions and blended both Filipino and Jewish traditions seamlessly. He co officiated with Father Francis who is a priest- he actually introduced him to us when we were searching for a priest to represent my Catholic background. We took awhile to select an officiant but when we met with Rabbi Ian we knew that he was the right guy for the job. He has an uncanny sense of humor and is great to talk to- he's realistic and down to earth. We knew that a wedding on a beach with two officiants was going to be a difficult task to accomplish but he helped make it all possible. My husband and I know that every time we look back on our wedding we will remember how he made it one of the best days in our lives!

From the moment that we met Rabbi Ian we loved him and knew we wanted him to marry us. Thanks to him we had a beautiful wedding ceremony! He has a great sense of humor and all of our guests said that he was the best officiant they ever met. I highly recommend him!!

Rabbi Ian from the Pacific Synagogue is amazing! Our ceremony was the nicest ceremony I think I have ever been to. Our guests complimented out ceremony the most out of anything, and that RARELY happens. He knows how to draw the guests in with laughter but also has a serious side.Even though we were from the east coast he took time to get to know us, asked both of us questions about each other and blended it so well into a personal beautiful ceremony. And he is VERY VERY funny! He is a biit on the pricey side but you are donating to the Synagogue and is tax deductible :) Worth every penny!

Rabbi Ian created a really great ceremony for us. It was very professional, spiritual and yet with the great sense of humor, Rabbi Ian made us feel at ease making timely jokes and making our guests laugh. He got to know us by communicating with us and asking questions about our lives and we felt he was almost part of our family and that made the ceremony so much more special for us.

we are very thankful and would recommend Rabbi Ian to anyone who wants their wedding ceremony to be memorable.

Rabbi Ian did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. We were not a local couple, so we had our first Skype session with him about a year before our wedding, and had very little communication with him until the month of. However, his office personnel did frequently remind us about donating to the synagogue, which I thought was a bit off-putting, considering we had made a very generous donation upfront. It seemed as though money was the only thing addressed through communication and actual questions were somewhat ignored. However, this was not Rabbi Ian. Communicating with the Rabbi through email could be a bit confusing since he has a very unique sense of humor which is hard to read through in email correspondence. For the two most important days--the rehearsal and day-of-- he was wonderful, and conducted a beautiful ceremony. Tons of friends and family friends who were non-Jewish said how much they enjoyed the ceremony and appreciated Rabbi Ian's explanations of some of the symbolic portions. While my husband and I wrote our own vows, Rabbi Ian made the ceremony so incredibly personal, it seemed as though we've known him forever. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
