I used Kristin Parks from Queen of Hearts for wedding planning. She was phenomenal! Kristin attended all of my vendor meetings with me, taking lots of detailed notes and pictures, and providing advice where I needed it. She sent me several suggestions for great vendors for me to use - I was extremely happy with all of them. She is super organized and very easy to work with. We had a very large wedding party and lots of family and young children in the wedding. She was awesome in terms of organizing and controlling everyone during both the rehearsal and the line up for the processional. Kristin even made sure that I had a pair of comfy slippers under our sweetheart table so I could swap out of high heels midway through the reception. A really nice touch was that she took a bunch of our flowers and desserts from the reception back to our room at the Four Seasons for us to have. I highly recommend Kristin for any wedding planning services! -

Phylis, Kristin, and Renee provided the wedding planning services for our wedding on 2/22/2014. Our main contact was Kristin and, a side from one small hiccup with the dinner rehearsal, she was marvelous. Queen of Hearts was great for the day of the wedding. They kept us on time, helped the day flow 100% smoothly, and assisted with things such as boutenniers, bringing this to the church, making sure everything was in its place. We were so happy to have them with us all day and night. My sister-in-law's wedding was shortly after ours on 4/12/2014, and again the team was amazing. I would highly recommend QOH to future brides. -

I can't say enough about my wedding planner Rebecca Richman. This wedding could never have happen without her! She provided great vendors for me to use all with which I was extremely happy with, she coordinated all vendors, was there whenever I needed assistance with anything, came with me to all my meetings and provided her excellent input and most of all provided a stress free day for my husband and I on our wedding day! She is such a talented, great person and I will truly miss working with her as the wedding is now over. I highly recommend The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants, especially Rebecca if you are looking to create the wedding of your dreams! -

I was overwhelmed at the thought of planning my sons wedding and could tell that I was going to need some major help. 200 guests was over my head! The search for a wedding planning company began. All I was hearing about was who NOT to use. I was really getting worried and panicked when someone said, this is going to be a very major event and you want the best, why are you not calling Queen of Hearts Wedding Planners? AT LAST, a life line!! I met with the company and was very impressed and they suggested a great match for this wedding would be Rebecca. That is when my future daughter in law and I met Rebecca Richman. She made an immediate great first impression. She was elegant, clear eyed, youthful, and warm and was on point every step of the way, throughout that first meeting.
I tell you, as a person with discerning taste and a keen eye for detail, that Rebecca did not disappoint! eEery nuance of this wedding was discussed, and taken care of. It was a seamless off site event, which is impossible in my mind. Rebecca took my future daughter in law by the hand and got all timelines identified and met. All her suggestions were dead on all the way to the cake bakery and the hair people. I cannot say enough, it brings me to tears to think of how sweet Rebecca was and the bride and I certainly got a bit prickly as the day approached, out of sheer nerves, but Rebecca was unflappable! She also predicted our needs, such as tissues under the pews in the church and at our tables, and once when I held up my pocket book wondering what to do with the darn thing as I made my entrance into the tent, Rebecca's hand popped out of nowhere and took it, and then it magically was at my place setting by the time I got there! Really? I LOVED out Queen of Hearts experience. They were why this wedding was THE wedding of 2013, On The Main Line!! Bless them all...A-men :) Nancy Haas -

I cannot say enough great things about Rebecca Richman from QoH as a wedding planner. She is professional, knowledgeable, easy-going, sweet, and a total lifesaver when it comes to planning a wedding. I STRONGLY recommend her. Her services are reasonable and worth every penny - and then some. -

I was hesitant at first as to whether a wedding coordinator was really necessary, but after going through the process, having Christina made our lives so much easier. She was a part of the planning process, but really had a huge role the month of the wedding. She contacted all the vendors to confirm every detail, and took care of everything so you don't have to worry about it. Christina is a pro and there is nothing she can't handle. She brought along Jillian as well who was an absolute doll. She is really invested in your day, and does whatever it takes to make sure the day of goes smoothly. QOH is worth every penny and then some! -

We hired the Wedding Day Service from The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants. It was the best decision made. It was totally worth the money. I am so thankful to Christina Lupo for orchestrating my wedding. Her team performed an exceptional job and everything was perfect. After my first meeting with Christina I had complete peace of mind. She was friendly, helpful, professional, patient and wise. I don't know what would I have done without her. I will not forget that Mark was at the church giving the programs away and greeting the guests. He had cold water for me and told me to take a deep breath. Christina gave me a listerine before I walked down the aisle. Vanessa and Christina fixed my train and kept everything under control. I truly enjoyed my wedding because Christina was in charge of making my day as perfect as I planned it to be. The little details, words of encouragement and professionalism define the amazing experience I had with this company. -

Best Planner Ever!! If you want a no-nonsense, efficient, professional wedding planner who has the best vendor contacts in the Philadelphia area I would go with Queen of Hearts. We could not have been happier with our experience with Rebecca Richman, who got what we wanted right away, assembled and coordinated an amazing team of vendors, and planned and executed day-of perfectly. I have seen similar perfection in execution from other members of the team at Queen of Hearts at other weddings too, so it seems you can’t go wrong here. They have been in the region for a long time and have built solid relationships with the best of the best in the wedding industry here. This means turning your dream wedding into a reality will be less hassle, less headache, less stress and a lot more fun. -

Queen of Hearts was fantastic! I really believe that hiring them for my day of coordination was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. Without Kirstin and Renee I would have been a wreck on the day. They handled the day fantastically and fixed any little issues that came up. I cannot say enough good things about this team! I had very little confidence in the staff at our wedding venue, and having Kristin there made me so much more comfortable that everything was going to go smoothly! -

I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca from QOH through out the wedding planning process. Not only was she a joy to work with for all of those months, but she was crucial to the overall success of our day. Rebecca was incredibly responsive to e-mails and phone calls, followed up with any questions or concerns, and at no point made me feel like anything was above and beyond reasonable. She even arranged to have Mark attend a meeting in her stead when she was going out of town unexpectedly, which was wonderful and much appreciated! Rebecca assisted us with finding wonderful vendors (i.e. Petals Lane and Synergetic Sound and Lighting) who did FANTASTIC work and really made the spaces we were in gorgeous. The day of I honestly do not know what we would have done without her, her assistant Kristen, or Christina who was also assisting. We had some potentially icky mess ups with the Loews hotel and she was able to handle/fix them with grace, patience, and always found a solution. I know it is because of her that our day went so smoothly and I was given compliment after compliment on how valuable her services were and how perfect everything was. It made a HUGE difference to me knowing that Rebecca was there to see to anything we wanted/needed. I will very much miss working with her and I'd recommend her to anyone that is planning a wedding or other large event. Thank you Rebecca!! -

Attention Men - you need a wedding planner!! I was skeptical at first if we really needed a wedding planner, but I was sure glad we did. Mark and his crew did an outstanding job coordinating the details and day-of planning for our wedding. The Queen of Hearts crew allowed our wedding to run smoothly and the problems we did have were quickly addressed by Mark and then rectified. Without the QOH team, we would have had to do a lot more scrambling and coordination on the day of. Obviously, the day goes by very quickly but it was vital to have Mark and his team present to handle the details. Without QOH, I (the groom), would have had to do much more coordinating on the day of. Let's be real guys, we don’t need to do that! We have a lifetime of trying to make our beautiful brides happy. Queen of Hearts was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I would recommend them to anyone.

I wish I had ten stars in each category to give Rebecca from Queen of Hearts. We had more issues on our daughter's wedding day than I could have imagined and Rebecca handled each crisis with smoothness, professionalism, humor and aplomb. I was lucky enough to work with Rebecca from Queen of Hearts in planning my wedding. I have to say it was one of the best decisions I made during the planning process. Rebecca was the most calm, organized, and accommodating planner. Her expertise and knowledge of the wedding industry made my job so much easier! My mom and I looked forward to every planning meeting that we had with Rebecca since we knew we would always be greeted with her warm smile and relaxed demeanor. Rebecca helped me with all of the wedding details in preparation for the big day and ensured I was crossing things off of my to-do list in a timely fashion. In the days leading up to the wedding and the day of, Rebecca made sure all of the arrangements were in place and made certain the day was everything my husband and I had wished for. It was so comforting to know that Rebecca was taking care of the details while we enjoyed the day together and maximized the special time with our friends and family. My daughter's wedding took place in Philadelphia although she lives in Minneapolis and I live in Tampa. As soon as I met Mark, I knew we could count on Queen of Hearts to be our "on site" planners. We ended up working with Rebecca who guided us through a year and a half of long distance planning. Rebecca is the perfect combination of competence and calm. Any question was answered within 24 hours. She never made me feel that I was asking too much or calling too often.
On the weekend of the wedding, she handled everything for us. If there was a problem, we weren't aware of it and we are still receiving calls from our guests raving about the wedding. I recommend Queen of Hearts Wedding Planners wholeheartedly!.......Abby G ( Mother of the Bride) -

I met Mark in 2008 when he was the consultant/coordinator for my sister's wedding in Philly. I remember meeting him at the union league with my mom and sister and as soon as he left, we all knew he was our guy! My sister's wedding was a total success and even before I was engaged, my mom and i knew that we'd be working with Mark again. Sure enough, I got engaged in February of 2011 and after celebrating for a few days, the first thing we did was call Mark!
Mark and his team are amazing to work with. I am admittedly a little anal and anxious about everything and Mark made me feel at ease about everything, He is also VERY good at helping to manage the mother/daughter relationship throughout the wedding planning process. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding with their mother knows what I'm referring to... He understood my mom really well and was able to help us work through various points of conflict throughout the process. He even remembered what some of my mom's "hot button" issues were from planning my sister's wedding!
Even though Mark is Philly based, he is so well established in the wedding world that we knew he would knock a DC wedding out of the park. He already knew and had worked with a few of our vendors and was more than willing to travel to DC numerous times for various vendor meetings, tastings, etc.
Where Mark was INVALUABLE was especially in the last month. I was completely overwhelmed at the prospect of having to confirm all the vendors, make a timeline, communicate final numbers, etc and Mark did that all. He sent us really concise paperwork to fill out on all of our vendors the month before so that he had all the information on how to reach everyone from the florist to the late night mac n cheese food truck. He made up a perfect timeline taking into consideration all these different points that I would never have thought to consider and they made all the difference.
We were completely at ease the week of (well as much as we could be!!!) and we knew everything would be taken care of. He was even more amazing on the day before and the day of. I honestly dont think we could have pulled it off without him.
He was also so patient with my incessent questions and middle of the night random anxieties about the smallest details. I can't count how many emails I sent him with a stream of consciousness and he would just calmly reply with an answer or explanation to every one of my concerns. It made me SO much more relaxed!!!
If you are even considering using a planner or coordinator, I would HIGHLY reccomend Mark and his team for a wedding in or outside of Philly. I actually had SO MUCH fun at my wedding and I know it was because Mark and his team were there to make sure everything went smoothly. I didn't worry about a single detail, nor did my parents. At one point, the fire alarm went off at the wedding venue after our ceremony. This is something i would normally flip out about, but I honestly shrugged and said 'Mark will handle it" and he did! He checked on me throughout the night and made sure everything stayed on track and even reminded me to change into my reception dress when it was time. Our wedding was honestly perfect and I wouldnt have changed a single detail. I can't thank Mark and his team enough for helping us put together the most amazing night ever! We already want to plan a vow renewal just to work with him again! -

The Queen of Hearts team was so wonderful to work with! Because I'm not from the Philadelphia area, they helped me find vendors that were a perfect fit for our wedding. They were there for any and all questions I had along the way. Most importantly, on the wedding day I didn't have to think or worry about a THING! They had everything covered. From getting everyone down the aisle, to when food shoud be served, to where the favors went, or when toasts should be made...they took care of it all! I got to enjoy my day and soak in all the fun without thinking about any of the arrangements or planning. My favorite thing about them is that they were a pleasure to work with. They are just as excited about your day as you are and are on top of every detail. They were calm and cool throughout the whole process, which kept me calm and cool :) I highly recommend the Queen of Hearts team. Getting them is proabably the best decision we made when planning our wedding...once they were on our team, we knew the day would be flawless, and it was! -

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of working with the Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants while planning our wedding. To say the level of service we received was beyond our expectations would simply be an understatement. They were extraordinary.
The consultants are highly accomplished professionals who plan and attend to every detail of a wedding. From getting to know my husband and me, to recommending vendors who fit our personality and budget, to attending to every need we had on our big day, the consultants were always there for us and made sure everything went according to plan.
Their diligence in execution is the reason why my husband and I remember everything about our wedding. We never had to think about where we needed to be, what time we needed to be there or what was coming next as they had everything under control. Our only job was to enjoy ourselves and we certainly did thanks to the Queen of Hearts consultants!
Bottom Line: Working with the Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants was absolutely blissful!~ -

The Queen Of Hearts did an amazing job putting together every detail that went into one of the most special days in a woman's life! Rebecca was my consultant and I couldn't have been happier with her! She knew exactly what I was looking for to make my wedding day everything I dreamed of! She was very prompted getting back to me and she had the answers I was looking for whenever I emailed or called which was what I needed to keep calm. We planned a very short engagement and therefore I needed someone to be very accurate with my requests. Rebecca made it very easy to make decisions and I am NOT a decisive person!! She went with me to almost everything, asked the questions, and took care of the details! Rebecca was very attentive and did an amazing job!
The day of the wedding went off without a hitch!! The whole QOH team was amazing! They made sure everything ran so smooth! There is nothing about the wedding I would have changed and the Queen of Hearts made that happen! -

Truly a godsend. While I am a highly organized person, I found that QOH helped in keeping me further organized. I loved that when it came time for my wedding day I had absolutely no worries whatsoever. I also loved telling my mom we don't have to worry about that Rebecca is taking care of it. I was so satisfied with them that as I was getting into my wedding gown I told my mom, we have to get a Rebecca for my sister who recently got engaged.
Some of the services I loved was how quickly I would get recommendations during our planning process, how quickly I would get answers on etiquette questions, how well the timeline for dayoff was planned and finally IT WAS MY WEDDING THE WHOLE TIME! Never once did I feel like I was pushed into using a particular vendor or performing the ceremony a certain way.
Amazing service from an amazing group, if you want you dream wedding QOH is certainly the way to obtain it. -

My wedding planner understood very well and suggested things I wouldn't have even thought about. My vintage theme wedding was beautiful, seamless, and perfect. What can I say? Mark is the reason I still had hair the day of my wedding! Mark was there for every little thing, taking care of even the smallest detail which really made planning my wedding a nearly stress-free event! The day of was micro managed by him, taking every worry away from me allowing me to truly enjoy my day! Mark checked in with me periodically through out the day, letting me know what was coming up, and if I needed to be somewhere soon. He is very professional, responding promptly and thoroughly to all emails. Whenever we talk about our experience with Queen of Hearts, my mom and I agree that their fee – without a doubt – was the best expenditure in my wedding budget! Mark Kingsdorf runs one amazing company. We met with him initially and he paired us up with Rebecca Richman, his associate. Rebecca is a fantastic woman and a terrific wedding planner. Along with being very organized, efficient and knowledgeable, she was absolutely wonderful (and fun) to work with and was always available to answer our questions, help solve our problems, and guide us in the right direction. She appreciates the fact that each bride is different and comes to the table envisioning her own perfect wedding. Rebecca listens carefully to this and does everything possible to make these dreams become a reality. Basically, your vision becomes hers as she works with you through the wedding preparations, and soon, you begin to feel you have a new best friend! Two special qualities in Rebecca that we especially appreciated were her patience and composure. No matter how many questions we asked or obstacles we encountered, she always remained patient and calm and set our minds at ease. The day of our wedding, she was amazing and spent the entire day handling everything, so that my husband and I and our families could relax and enjoy the day.
Queen of Hearts and Rebecca have enormous connections with vendors in the Philly area and thus, can recommend vendors who complement both your style and budget. The vendors we chose with their help were perfect for us and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The fact that Queen of Hearts recommended them and knew their work relieved a lot of stress for us. We knew we could depend on our vendors following through on what was planned and being efficient and on-time on our wedding day.
The packages that Queen of Hearts offers are a huge value to anyone planning a wedding. “Day-of-Wedding” services relieve stress when the main focus of the day should be enjoying the event. We opted for their “Full Service Planning,” which also includes helping you hone your vision, create a budget, recommend vendors, and pull all the many details together. My mother and I worked with Rebecca for over a year and it was definitely one of our best decisions. Without hesitation, we both HIGHLY recommend Queen of Hearts Consultants (and of course, Rebecca!) to help make your wedding experience all that it should be!

I am afraid I will never be able to find the words to express how grateful we are to have found Rebecca Richman. My code name for her became "the drama free zone". Everything this woman touches turns stress-free and fantastic. When I mentioned hiring a wedding planner to my fiance he was really unsure at first. As we worked with Rebecca and Queen of Hearts he was a convert!! With Rebecca's impeccable professionalism, organizational skills, easy going personality and wedding planning wisdom we literally flew through 9 months of little to no stress in planning our wedding. One thing no one told us when we were looking for wedding planners is how important it is for the planner to have deep vendor relationships. Rebecca and Queen of Hearts are so highly connected and where they didn't know someone they are supremely skilled in the art of creating instant relationships. This proved to be a huge asset as we researched venues, chose florists and worked with the full team leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Smooth, amazing experience and we could not have done that without them. Period. If you are even considering hiring a planner, do it and do it with Queen of Hearts. Their value go so far beyond the cost and the biggest gift of all is it frees you up to be present and actually enjoy this special time in your life. -

I was lucky enough to have the Queen Of Hearts team (specifically Christina Lupo) assist in planning our September 2011 wedding. I had a vision of what I wanted our wedding to be and they helped this vision come to life in a way I could have never done alone. Their vendor reccomendation, attention to detail, knowledge, and connection in the industry was so helpful. Planning with them was truly enjoyable which is exactly how I wanted it to be. We had a logistically tricky day being that I was getting ready in Bucks County, getting married at St. Augustine's in Old City, then having the reception at the National Constitution Center. Oh, and our guests were staying at The Westin Philadelphia. However, each of those locations were important to us so the QOH helped us to make it all happen and ensure our guests were taken care of. I can't thank Mark ,Christina, and the whole QOH team that was there on wedding day enough for helping it be, hands down, the most carefree and FUN day of our lives! -

Magical! Wonderful! Rebecca from Queen of Hearts was so wonderful from our first meeting until the end of the wedding night. I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough. There is a reason they have been on the "Best of Weddings" list since 2007. Just recently having 2011 added. From our first meeting to the day after brunch, Mark was there for me. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy. He has the best relationships with the top wedding vendors in the Philadelphia area. I live in Chicago and planning a "long distance wedding" was so easy working with Mark. You will not be disappointed. -

Hiring Rebecca as our DOC turned out to be such a smart decision! Rebecca helped us pull everything together and remain calm during the last few months before the wedding and on our wedding day. To this day I still don't know if anything went wrong, we were blissfully happy all day while I'm sure Rebecca worked her tail off behind the scenes. Rebecca and Mark were super flexible, went above and beyond the terms of our contract to provide superior service. I can't recommend QOH weddings enough to anyone planning a wedding, my only regret is not hiring them earlier and for full-on wedding planning instead of just day-of. -

I cannot say enough good things about Mark and his team, especially Rebecca Druckenmiller. I chose the day-of coordination package, and then paid for Mark on an hourly basis throughout the planning process to help me with recommendations for vendors. Mark was nothing short of amazing. After we discussed the vision and budget for the wedding, he gave me several options for trusted vendors that we took - and loved! He was responsive and fun to work with. Rebecca was head of the day-of team -- yes, that's right, a team -- and she was in total control. She made sure everything ran smoothly, that we all looked perfect, and that all of our vendors, musicians, etc. were taken care of. For a busy Type A bride, Queen of Hearts was worth every penny and I've recommended them to several other brides-to-be. -

Everything at my wedding went flawlessly, and I know that Mark and Rebecca are to thank in large part for that. The BEST! I was a bit of a reluctant bride. After about 3 years of engagement, I decided I needed professional help. We met Mark and knew right away that he was totally professional and had the experience and the knowledge we needed. Once we decided on a location and date for the wedding, we really only had about 4 or 5 months to plan it. Mark and his team made it come together beautifully. His recommendations for photographer, seamstress, florist, and officiant were spot-on. His advice on timelines, invitations, and other planning details was also outstanding. Because he had another wedding scheduled for our date, about a month before he handed our wedding-day details over to Christina Gargano-Lupo, who was also outstanding. Without Christina on our wedding day, I would have been a basketcase. With Christina, I was totally calm, and able to enjoy my wedding day! -

Plan a wedding?? I would have been LOST. Mark is a life savior. I highly recommend him. He has been wedding planning for years. He knows every one in the business and gives great recommendations. When you have Mark you have no stress. This is your special day that starts a new life with your partner. Most people take a year to maybe three years planning a wedding. Originally I didn't think I would need a wedding coordinator because I felt pretty on top of everything. But my mom convinced me that it would be helpful to have someone there on the wedding day and boy was she right! We hired Rebecca based on reviews and a sense of confidence we had after our first meeting with her and she still exceeded all of our expectations. She and her team were there for everything we needed - contacting vendors for things before the wedding, running the rehearsal, constantly making sure I had a drink if I wanted one, gathering the photographer, videographer, and VIPs for big moments, figuring out how to turn on the fans when it got too hot, and even sweeping up a broken glass on the dining room floor! I didn't have to worry about a thing and was just able to enjoy the day to the fullest. -

Rebecca from QOH was our wedding consultant for our July 2013 wedding. She was fantastic. My husband and I live in New York City and we didn't know much about the vendors located in Philadelphia (we got married at Villanova Chapel and the Union League) so we knew we needed some assistance because of the distance. QOH had a great plan for us -- it wasn't the full wedding planning service but it included about 8 hours of in-person meetings iwth Rebecca, full wedding weekend planning, and accessibility to Rebecca for questions 24/7. It was so helpful to have Rebecca along the way - she provided me with a variety of recommended vendors that I chose from; she answered my every little question for 12+ months, she was at all of our floral meetings in-person, and she facilitated our wedding rehearsal at the church and she was at our wedding all day/night long. If I could re-do my wedding all over again, I wouldn't change anything and that's because it was perfect -- nothing went wrong, everything was organized and Rebecca kept us on time the entire weekend. I don't know what I would have done without her! I highly recommend QOH (especially Rebecca) to anyone who is interested in having some assistance with the planning and execution. I was still able to make the final decisions and talk to the vendors, but Rebecca was engaged whenever I needed her. it was the perfect balance for what worked for us. -

I told the owner up front that I was very particular and had already held a large, upscale wedding on my own so I wasn't sure what they could do for me. I should have followed my gut feeling and not fallen for the smile and reassurance beforehand. IF you have no issues that day, I'm sure they are just swell. Run into more than needing a person to stand on the sideline and you have wasted your money. We had many problems arise that we had to deal with while the three of them did practically nothing. Do yourself a favor and cross them off for 'day of' work. There are many other reputable companies in the area to use so at the very least ask these people WHO exactly will handle a problem and will they do it BEFORE you notice it and have to get involved?! I've got these people standing around in our photos and video while right in front of one of them was a spill on the dance floor. They just don't comprehend attention to detail. A downside was also that they joined up with the horrible florist that we used which meant any issues with flowers/décor weren't addressed by them. WE had to deal with the florist after the fact. WE had to deal with the reception site afterward. The head guy was present at the wedding plus 2 employees. It was not a benefit. I should have just thrown the $1800 plus tip around the reception room instead of paying this company. I would use the reception site again even though they messed up because they 'got it' and acknowledged their errors after the fact. This company and it's now owner company just don't get it so there's no way I'd ever recommend them. In case it's wondered why I mention the florist...Queen of Hearts is owned by Eventricity so in fact it's one big mess of a group in my opinion. I'd recommend Evantine Design for a wedding consultant and regret not booking them originally. -
