So happy with my MUAH!
I hired Purity Hair Design for my wedding hair and makeup, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! April did our hair and Jenn did our makeup, and they were both absolutely amazing. They made me and my bridesmaids look stunning and feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. During my trial, they really listened to my preferences and brought my vision to life beautifully. I requested a slight change on the wedding day itself, and they adjusted effortlessly, making sure my makeup and hair both turned out perfectly. Both my hair and makeup also held up so well throughout the night, no touch ups needed! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the night.
April and Jenn were not only talented but also such a joy to spend the morning with. They truly made getting ready a fun and relaxing experience. My bridesmaids kept saying how sweet they were. I would highly recommend Purity Hair Design to anyone looking for an incredible MUAH team for their wedding!

Great Experience!

Dana and Jenn were amazing and listened to everything that we wanted for our hair style and make up choice. Dana was very communicative with the process of getting timings right and made my wedding morning a breeze knowing I was in good hands. Do not overlook Purity for your big day, I could not have imagined getting my hair and makeup done by anyone else. I had Dana and Jen, both were super helpful in putting together looks for me and the bridal party. They were so knowledgeable, and were willing to tell me if a look may not turn out the way I had pictured which I honestly appreciated. Dana was great with communication, if I had any questions she would email me back super quickly. They were super professional, even when some members of my bridal party were particular they kept their cool and did a wonderful job in making us all feel beautiful. Dana was like a magician with her curling wand and bobby pins, we had many different hair types and everything stayed put the entire night. There was also a variety of skin tones and a couple ladies had mature skin, and Jen did amazing with makeup to accentuate features we wanted. They were friendly and easy to talk to as well which made the time go by super fast. Highly recommend!!

Dana was so easy to coordinate with and was willing to make multiple adjustments to the schedule to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She was very flexible with the changes, and helped me book a second hair trial when I wanted to change up my style after the first trial. My hair and makeup turned out stunning and looked very natural - as did all my bridesmaids!

Beautiful Hair and Makeup
This is my second time working with Purity Hair Design and they will always be my go to, especially for big events. Laurie and Ana were wonderful to work with the day of my wedding. We had a blast throughout the morning with them, and their hair and makeup was gorgeous. It was everything each of us wanted and more. Dana had amazing communication from the day that we booked with her. Any changes that were needed to the schedule were seamlessly done and everyone that we worked with were so helpful and friendly. I cannot express how incredible my experience with Purity Hair Design and Dana, the Wedding Hair Director, was for my wedding! From our first meeting nearly two years ago, Dana was by my side, working tirelessly to create the perfect hairstyle that felt both natural and beautiful. Fallon did a fantastic job with me and my bridal party's hair! Even though she had 7 hairstyles to get through, she really took her time with everyone. I was a little nervous because they had me buy my own hair extensions, but the company they recommended was high quality, and they were willing to cut and style the hair extensions for me, since the ones I bought were slightly too long. Dana and her team were a phenomenal addition to our wedding vendor team, and fit perfectly with our wedding party guests for a getting-ready morning of group cabin airbnb, breakfast smorgasbord and a variety of musical tunes. Flexible and felt amazing with hair and make up
Laurie and Dana were so accommodating for me, with a couple last minute schedule changes they were flexible and made sure to communicate any additional pricing. I was only able to do a hair and make up trial on myself, but my maid of honor and mom both looked great the day of and Laurie made sure to help alter any minor touches the day of on the make up. She was right on time the day of and make up and hair went quickly and efficiently. Laurie made sure to help work with my headdress and showed my MOH how to pin it and remove it later in the day. The hair and make up lasted all night and didn’t smudge or lose curl.

Purity Hair Design was such a great salon to work with! Dana the salon’s wedding coordinator is so sweet and helpful! Laurie did all the hair and make up for my mom, siblings, and myself. I was so nervous since I didn't do a trial of hair/make up before my wedding day. She was perfect to work with! She was patient with any worries I had and helped me pick a hair style that would hold the entire ceremony/reception. My hair and makeup looked beautiful the entire day. Would recommend!

Working with Purity was a dream from start to finish. Dana, the wedding coordinator, was so organized and responsive throughout the entire process. No question was too big or small. She gave me tons of advice. I have no experience with professional hair and makeup, and neither do my bridemaids. Naturally, we were worried about having too much makeup on or not looking like ourselves. Well, there was no reason to worry because the team is so talented, responsive to your requests, and flexible throughout the process. Laurie, Jenn and Fallon came on-site for my wedding in June 2023 and were wonderful. They worked quickly but professionally, they were kind, and they totally respected our asks and desires. Jenn had even sought out a specific kind of false lash for my blonde coloring. We were so happy with how we looked, and everyone's look stayed put all night, despite some rain and humidity! So grateful for this team and would definitely use them again.

Beautiful hair for my wedding day
Dana from Purity Hair Design helped me and my bridal party with hair on my wedding day. She was extremely kind and professional. She traveled to us and communication was great, too! She helped style everyone's hair quickly, but with focus on details. When it was my turn I was very nervous, it was raining out and I had all the feelings swirling around, haha. She helped to chit chat with me and also gave me some reminders and pep talk, too! She really was amazing. Amazing! Book Purity ASAP!
Purity Hair Design made the beauty part of my wedding day so comfortable and easy! I highly recommend booking them. Dana was extremely responsive and responded to my emails very quickly. She redid our morning schedule at least 4 times with no issues. My hair and makeup trial was a great way to meet both Dana (hair) and Jen (makeup) before the wedding and I loved how comfortable they made me feel.
My wedding morning was amazing. They vibed with my bridesmaids and mom and it was a wonderful way to ease into the wedding day. My wedding day was very hot (high of 86!!) and my hair did NOT MOVE AT ALL. We changed our original plan of having my hair half up to a full updo bun and it was tight and right! My makeup didn't smudge or smear. Jen had told me what lipstick she was going to use so I was able to purchase the brand in advance to reapply.
Overall Purity Hair Design made me and my wedding party feel beautiful. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them for another event in the future :)

Booking Purity Hair Design for my wedding was the perfect decision! Dana was so helpful with all the logistics and answered all of my questions with such kindness (and promptness). I had such a good experience with Purity Hair Design. The BEST Experience
From the start of everything they all were so helpful. I had changed my mind several times about what services I wanted done and they never hesitated or complained about my of it and were so understanding. GREAT, stress-free experience!
Laurie and the Purity team were phenomenal. I have naturally curly hair and wanted a stylist who would work with my texture instead of straightening and re-curling with an iron, and Laurie was up for the task. During my trial, Laurie was detail oriented and took the time to listen to what I wanted. She was also extremely responsive when I asked for tweaks/modifications. She picked up on the vibe I was going for immediately. On the day of, she was punctual, professional, relaxed, funny, and personable, which helped me stay calm and enjoy the experience. She also did hair and makeup for my mom (pictured), mother in law (pictured), and sister, all of whom asked for very different things, and everyone was thrilled with their results. Awesome team, fun to work with, and amazing hairstyles!
I was a little nervous hiring Dana and the Purity Hair team without being able to book a trial first (I live 2 hours away) as I wear very little makeup and am particular about it. The trial went great. And on my wedding day the team was prompt and efficient. Great attitudes and fun to work with. All 6 of us were completely thrilled with our hair and makeup, which stayed put all night through a 6 hour reception filled with dancing (no joke we had a polka band and dj, so it was a lot of good cardio!). 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

The ladies here at Purity Hair Design are some of the most kind, down to earth, and unique ladies I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was honored to have them doing my bridal makeup! Even at the trial, I could talk to Jenn and Dana like I had known them for years. I’d love to give a big shoutout to Dana, who helped me put the final touches on my hair and placed my veil for me before I did my own reveal in a big wall mirror. I started tearing up and Dana shared in the moment with me, shedding a few of her own. That’s just how much this establishment cares for and bonds with their clients. Purity Hair Design was able to accommodate me after a mishap with my previously selected salon for the wedding. The staff are professional, friendly and so nice to work with. The did such a good job I switched to them for my regular hair appointments!

Amazing group and very attentive and skilled
They were very professional, helpful, and exceeded all expectations. They were able to do very complicated hairstyles including large hair pieces and crowns under the same time constraints of a normal wedding and anticipated all the problems and issues that may come with it. They made us all with different beautiful hairstyles that allowed us to wear our crowns and take them off without messing up our hair. our hair stayed throughout the night no matter the stress it was under, which was impressive to all the guests.

They made sure to be in contact with me, confirmed everything to make sure it was what I wanted, and was professional the whole way. The ladies of Purity are the real deal! Dana, Amanda, Fallon and Jenn were all so pleasant and easy to work with. I did a wedding hair trial with Fallon and decided i wanted a different style after leaving the salon. Dana, the wedding coordinator, assured me Fallon could do the new style without another trial...and she delivered! My wedding hair was exactly what i envisioned; add in Jenn's makeup skills and i was feeling like a princess! The whole entire team was just so friendly, and attentive. 10/10!

Great Hair and Make-Up Experience!
The team at Purity Hair Design was fantastic. I had them come to my wedding venue to do hair and make-up for my sister and I. I don't generally wear any make-up, but Laurie did great work that looked gorgeous and natural! Dana was able to incorporate an image I provided and make it stay for the nearly 100-degree weather we ended up having. I would 100% recommend!

Talented hair and makeup artists!
Purity Hair Design was such a great group to work with! They were incredibly communicative and made sure I had everything I wanted for my day! They created a great schedule to ensure that my girls and I were all ready on time. Laurie and Soojee were so fun to have with us all morning, and we all looked amazing with plenty of time to spare!

Gorgeous Hair and Makeup
Dana and the whole team at Purity were amazing. Dana, Amanda, Laurie and Jen did hair and makeup for me, my eight bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. They did an amazing job, everyone looked like themselves but elevated. Many of my bridesmaids and I do not wear a lot of makeup. Jen and Laurie made us all feel comfortable and gorgeous. On the morning of the wedding, I had a pimple pop up on my chin (a la My Big Fat Greek Wedding) Jen was awesome about covering it up and by the time I was walking down the aisle, you couldn’t even tell it was there.

Amazing team!
I had Dana as my hair stylist for my October wedding and it was nothing short of an excellent experience! She made myself and all of my girls feel comfortable and was so much fun! She did a better job then I could have even imagined and everyone looked so beautiful thanks to her and her team!

Easy fun and beautiful
Purity Hair Design was absolutely amazing from the beginning. Dana was so responsive and always so willing to answer any and all questions and made everything so clear and easy to understand. When the girls Soojee and Laurie showed up on my wedding day they were so fun to talk to and we’re so willing to fix and adjust anything myself and the girls wanted tweaked. Everyone’s hair and makeup came out beautiful and lasted the entire day considering we started at 6:45AM. I would highly recommend this team they did an amazing job!

Dana and Jen are awesome! I would highly recommend using Purity Hair Design for your wedding! They were super accommodating when we had to change our date not once but twice! And when it came time for the day they were ahead of schedule and super easy to get along with! I was a little nervous about having 2 strangers basically hanging out with me and my girls on my wedding day, but I can honestly say they were funny and personable! My hair and make up was perfect and when one of my bridesmaids wanted to change their hair halfway through, they didn’t care or get annoyed and just made the adjustments she wanted! They helped made my wedding day perfect!

Everything A Bride Could Ever Need!
Making 9 girls from the Bronx happy is nearly impossible and yet that is EXACTLY what happened with Purity!! Every single one of us looked stunning, hair and makeup flawless, but even better, we all still looked like ourselves. No crazy makeup caked on or insane hairstyles. Not only did we feel beautiful but as a bride, you want your girls to have fun getting ready on your big day and the purity team kept us laughing and dancing around, was organized so that we stayed on time for the photographer, and stuck around till the very end to do last minute touch ups.
Getting ready with them made the process painless, fun, and the results were incredible. Also, my now husband cried when he saw me and that never happens! He could not get over how perfect I looked! I worked with several of the women and they were all extremely personable and helpful and efficient through the process of hair and makeup trails, schedule changes, and in my case a totally different hairstyle the day of.
They helped make my wedding perfect and I could not recommend them more!

Vermont Mountain Wedding
Working with Purity Hair Design was fantastic from start to finish! I worked with the owner, Amanda, to discuss all the scheduling details. She even took time to meet with me and review everything when I went in for my hair and makeup trial. Natasha did the makeup for myself and my 6 bridesmaids and Dana did the hair. I was able to do a trial with both of them a few months before the wedding which really took the pressure off on the big day! They are both very knowledgeable about what will work best- I showed them pictures of my wedding dress and my color scheme and they helped me decide what hair style/makeup would work best for my hair type, skin, wedding location (we got married on top of a mountain so an up-do was a must!) On the day of the wedding, Natasha and Dana turned the condo where we were getting ready into a salon! They set-up in minutes and brought everything they could possibly need. All the girls were thrilled with how their hair and makeup turned out. I've honestly never felt so beautiful! One thing I was surprised about was the next day when I took out my up-do, it was incredibly easy to brush out my hair-but it managed to stay put all night long! I have incredibly thick hair and its usually a pain combing out my hair after its had product in it-whatever they use is amazing! Dana and Natasha made sure to take care of any touch-ups after all the girls were finished, and they were so flexible about making changes if something didn't feel/look right. It was such a pleasure working with Purity Hair Design and I couldn't be happier with the experience!

I absolutely looooved Purity on my wedding day. Not only were they super fun and friendly, the work they did was nothing short of flawless. I absolutely LOVED both hair and makeup for myself, and all of my wedding party, not just liked LOVED! I cannot say enough positive things about them, they were amazing! Don’t hesitate booking Purity for your wedding! Natasha and Dana were extremely great to work with. They were also super accommodating with some last minute modifications to the schedule. The team at Purity came on-site to our venue to do hair and make-up the day of our wedding. Amanda helped coordinate all the details in advance (including picture of the bridal party, so they could plan hair and makeup accordingly), then her team executed perfectly. I had some fears after recent wedding attendance regarding adherence to the planned schedule. Not only did the Purity team show up early, they were actually ahead of schedule throughout the day. I would highly recommend the team at Purity, they were extremely reliable and did a great job for both hair and makeup.

I can't say enough about how well Natashia made me look and feel on my wedding day. We had a consultation in which she listened to what I wanted to look like like. I ended up really likeing the consultation and the test run hair. Natashia came in a bit early to get my hair done and Amanda did my maitron of honor's hair. My matron of honor came in from out of town and Amanda was very nice to work with us to get the look we were so happy with. Natashia also did our makeup.

I can not say ENOUGH about Amanda and her team at Purity Hair Design. Amanda did my hair, and Natasha did my makeup and lashes I felt like an absolute rockstar at my wedding! My hair and makeup were FLAWLESS and they assured me both would stay in place all night, and despite an almost 90-degree wedding day and endless dancing, my hair and makeup were perfect through the wedding. Dana was also part of the team, and between the three of them, they took excellent care of me and my 10 bridesmaids, making us all not only look great, but feel comfortable and confident on the big day.
Amanda and her team were so friendly, flexible, and helpful in the entire planning process. I was one of those brides who was unsure of my hairdo so I did not only 1 but 2 hair trials. Amanda was receptive and worked with me to finally achieve what I can only describe as my absolute dream hairdo. I also did a makeup trial with Natasha and was absolutely blown away, she really listened to me and worked with me to create the perfect makeup look.
Communication was huge Purity especially during the stressful process of planning a wedding. Amanda and I were in contact up until the night before the big day as I needed some last minute changes, Amanda handled it all and made sure everything was perfect! I highly recommend Amanda and her team at Purity Hair Design for any special occasion you have and especially on your wedding day! I could not be happier with the quality of service and communication!

I got married in the Adirondacks and was thrilled when she said she would make the hour trek up to do hair and makeup for my wedding! I did a trial with Amanda and she took pictures of two different styles to reference the day of. I didn’t get the chance to do a makeup trial but I had a picture for Natasha and she got exactly what I was looking for. They made everything really easy and were very prepared the day of! I recently had the pleasure of working with Purity and the owner Amanda for my wedding! We had a GREAT time while we 'took over' the salon on my wedding day! The prices are very reasonable, and the attention to detail by everyone who works there is unmatched. They do travel if that's a need you have, however the Salon is beautiful so we really liked getting everything done there (good for pictures and they didn't mind that we brought mimosas ;) ) Amanda and all the girls listen to get to know what you are looking for and they make it happen. They are proud of their work, so they make sure you leave looking and feeling fabulous. I can't recommend them enough!

I found Purity Hair Design from a friend who was married in May 2015. Their prices were the most reasonable out of all of my searching. I did not do a trial for either my hair or makeup and just went in hoping for the best. Natasha from Purity Hair Design did my bridal hair and makeup and a bridesmaid's hair and make up. Another awesome girl (forgot her name!) did hair and makeup for my maid of honor and bridesmaid. Both girls were awesome! I have never felt more beautiful! They were completely professional, showed up on time and were simply great. I was done with everything on time so that I could get ready for first look photos. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Very happy with the service on time able to get everyone done even with adding a last minute hair style! Everyone was happy with the services and the owner was very responsive, great vendor to work with!!

Great stylists and value
Each stylist/artist working for Purity is professional and talented. Each member of my bridal party and family that received services from them were very satisfied. I definitely recommend booking them for your wedding.
The only thing I wish was different was how they accept payment. You are not able to pay for your services by credit card the day of; you either need to pay by card for everyone’s services before the date of your wedding, or each person can pay cash the day of.
Not a deal breaker though! They are amazing and you will be smiling with how beautifully they enhance your looks.

Loved Working with Soojee!
Soojee was a fantastic stylist who was so open to all my ideas and helping me to craft the perfect look for my wedding. She was super receptive to feedback and was able to make the perfect adjustments between our trial and the day of to make me look exactly how I wanted. I would highly recommend Purity!

Great Experience!
All of the ladies were wonderful to work with from beginning to end . Amanda and Dana were wonderful to work with. Laurie did an amazing job for myself as well as four bridesmaids on our hair, all with different styles . Laurie was so personable and a great energy to be around at 7am. Would highly recommend !

Great stylists!
Purity did a great job on my wedding parties hair and make up! People added make up last minute and they were very flexible! Wish they gave us 2 hair stylist so I didn’t have to wake up so early but was well worth it!

Great experience
Purity hair design did the hair and makeup for my wedding party. They were very accommodating with frequent plan changes due to covid and delivered in the end. I felt the most beautiful version of myself!
