Prodigy Event Planning is fantastic! They helped us along the way with all aspects of the wedding, many of which are easily overlooked. Always friendly and responsive to our needs or concerns, they helped everything go extremely smooth. I could imagine for weddings both lower in price and higher in price they would excel at utilizing resources to provide your dream wedding! Coordinating with all vendors can be very stressful and they handle everything, while including you so you are aware of all. You will only have the normal stress and nerves of getting married none of the extra stuff when you use them!!! Highly recommended! -

As vendors, we had the honor and privilege to work with Prodigy Event Planning. As the photographers that day of the wedding, their team was phenomenal from start to finish. The details, the love, the passion they have for what they do. The day was perfect, Cindy was paying attention to all the little and big details and didn’t skip a beat neither did the team. They were on top of everything so well coordinated and the team made the day as perfect as could be. It was amazing working with them and I would highly recommend to any bride and groom to use their services they won’t disappoint!

Cindy was absolutely phenomenal, as was her team! Cindy helped us to start plan our November 2022 wedding in August of 2021. From the get go, she was incredibly helpful and kind. I knew what I wanted, and was very particular about certain aspects of the event. Cindy was super supportive and helped me figure out every last detail, especially when the inevitable tiny things started to go wrong! Every question I had or panicked moment I came up with, she had a solution. She was innovative, efficient and all around amazing throughout our year + long planning process.
Therefore, on the day, everything turned out perfectly. I'm not kidding when I say everything turned out exactly like I wanted it to in my head. Everyone warns you that "inevitably something will go wrong" with your wedding, and with Cindy and her team that simply was not true. She ensured that we were on schedule, all the special moments played off without a hitch, and calmed my anxiety soooo many times. I am endlessly appreciative of all of their help that made our day go off without a hitch.I could go on forever about how great this company is! We started with a phenomenal planner and ended with a great friend :) -

Prodigy Event Made our Wedding Perfect!
Cindy was a true professional! She met with me various times before the wedding to go over all of the details. The day of the wedding I could truly enjoy the day with all of my family and friends because Cindy and her team made sure everything was in order and perfect. The decor was beautifully set up, and all of our guests had a great time. I have been recommending Prodigy Event Planning to all of my friends. Thank you Cindy!! -

I did not hire Prodigy but their month of planning was included in my venue. She caused so many big issues at my wedding & I missed out on so much of my day
Communicating with Cindy was exasperating. I had to continuously follow up with emails she didnt respond to. When she finally did, she ignored the majority of my questions and only answered one part. She kept asking for info I had already sent, forgot details she told me & was very unorganized. She schedules all of her meetings on one day of the week so she was late to every meeting with us. The one before our rehearsal ran late, then she left early for another meeting scheduled directly after. After our wedding party waited for her to show, she rush it & we felt helpless when she left in a hurry.
She ensured us that she would set everything up the wedding day but only arrived a few hours early. All the bridesmaids, groomsmen & families had to help set up because it was impossible for her to do it in such a short time. Because of this, we couldnt get ready & it delayed the entire night. Many things she or her staff said would be taken care of, were not done. For ex, I told her our table layout was so important to us & we were told a month before that they would create it. I asked her several times for the layout, in person & email & she ignored me. My mom & I had to waste 30 minutes helping her move tables when we should have been getting ready. We voiced our frustration, then she talked down to us condescendingly, blamed us & whipped her hair at us while she whispered nastily to her staff. I was shocked to be treated this way on my wedding day just because she didnt do her job. It affected my mood the entire day.
While taking first look photos, Cindy was still inside setting up instead of coordinating or keeping track of the timeline, so guests entered early & watched us as we took photos - in my wedding dress - before I ever walked down the aisle. This was truly devastating. The rest of my photos with family & wedding parties were rushed so we didn’t get all of the photos we wanted.
The ceremony was delayed by 40 minutes so we did not get to enjoy cocktail hour which is what we made clear to her we really wanted to do. It took time away from our day & our guests. Everything else was rushed the entire night. I constantly felt stressed, anxious, frustrated, & disappointed. I felt bad for my guests who had to wait outside so long. Cindy and her staff kept asking me questions all night about what should be done next, which is her job. The vendors also came to me for questions about the timeline because she wasn’t keeping track. I saw later that she was spending her time taking photos at my Photo Booth.
At the end of the night, she left without telling me and one of her staff helped us put our decor away who mixed up our items with the venues and she threw our belongings carelessly in boxes, causing some to break.
Because of Cindy, my wedding day was delayed. We missed moments we wanted, time with guests, photos we wanted to capture. It put me in a bad mood, I was worried about things that she should have been taking care of. I felt bad for my guests who were so confused & waited for so long. The vendors were confused and rushed. We didn’t get sentimental moments with our families and friends in the morning. I wasn’t able to be excited while anticipating the wedding. I couldn’t fully enjoy the moment. I am devastated that she let this happen on the biggest day of my life. Based on her other reviews, she makes excuses, blames her clients & accuses every bad review of being fraudulent. I fully expect her to turn this around on me somehow, but everyone can see through her. Cindy, please don’t waste your time, you have done enough to me that will stick with me for the rest of my life. You severely impacted my wedding day and I will never be able to have that moment back. And to top it all off, she had the nerve to sign my Mandalorian helmet guest book right in the front & center in giant letters (Good thing I could paint over it)
Save yourself and do not hire her. -

I coordinated and arranged everything for my wedding and I needing someone to help me tie up the loose ends and make sure everything I coordinated went smoothly. My mom found prodigy event planning and I'll be honest, after speaking Cindy, she literally took the stress off my shoulders and made it seem as if her company was going to take over because it is a lot of work; especially working a full time job. In my opinion, I would have never of hired her if I read all of these reviews. Unfortunately, all of the negative reviews are accurate. Cindy was never on time for meetings that she arranged. Punctuality is everything and when the owner is constantly late, the perception that is given is, she simply doesn't care about anyone but herself. I coordinated everything, the florals, the cater, the seating chart (which she messed up), the band and staging, I coordinated the photographer and videographer, all Cindy had to do was be there on time and place the name cards on the table. It was a complete cluster! I have emails and text messages to prove I had to coordinate everything Prodigy promised to do. It's a shame the band and caterer were calling me to inform they could not get a hold of Cindy or Cherie at Prodigy; which is not a surprise. Prodigy messed up the only thing I asked to be accurate, and that was to ensure an open seat was left available for my late mother-n-law and seated next to my father-n-law. They could not even get that right. We had to ask the caterer to cut our cake because Prodigy doesn't do that apparently, and I never got to toss my bouquet and my husband never got to do the garter toss. After our wedding was finished I decided to let it go and keep my opinions to myself. Cindy texted my elderly mother and stated she owed over $300.00 to her for seating arrangements, that prodigy messed up. People were sitting next to people they did not know, others were given the wrong meals, people with allergies were given the wrong meals. After prodigy harassed my mother via text and email, my mother decided to pay the invoice when the contract was in my name. I would not have paid her!!!! The company over promises and under delivers on everything promised. I know Cindy, you're going to come on here and respond and write a book, but you know your services are terrible and should figure out why you have such terrible reviews! In my opinion Ladies and Gentleman, there are more qualified companies who will actually help you and not cause more stress and caseous on your special day! -

I booked two coordinators for a day of wedding coordination with a 140 guests. What a disaster it was. If my hosts didn’t get there early, There would be nothing set up correctly. No coordination what so ever. As the bride I had to put stuff together the day of my wedding. I couldn’t even enjoy myself because the coordinators were making excuses on what they can’t do and what someone else should be doing. I paid a $1,000 for nothing. They were sitting in the back having a conversation as if they were not suppose to be working. Horrible, horrible service. I don’t recommend this company at all. I need a 100% refund!!!! -

When I first met with Cindy I liked her personality and was impressed with her experience. I only needed her to set up and oversee the reception so she suggested a lowered price and I signed a contract and made the mistake of paying her in full instead of just a deposit. Three months before the wedding, I emailed her and I got an email back a few days later that stated per our contract, we were not supposed to contact each other until one month before the wedding. I reviewed the contract which only stated that in person meetings were limited but phone and email contact was unlimited. Six weeks before my wedding our reception venue cancelled our event due to Covid. I emailed Cindy about the cancellation and she replied that I should get back with her when we had an idea of a new date. In June I sent an email requesting her availability in October or November. It took her over two weeks to reply, by which time I had heard back from all of my other venues/vendors and confirmed a date that worked for all of them. She was unavailable on my rescheduled date so, seeing as she had done absolutely nothing for my wedding, and given the unprecedented circumstances of the global pandemic, I inquired as to whether I could get my money back. ALL OTHERS VENDORS WERE VERY COOPERATIVE GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES however, although her contract states “if the Day of Coordinator is not able to uphold the obligations provided in this agreement due to illness, tragedy or force majeure (an “act of God” such as hurricane, other natural disaster, etc.), Prodigy Event Planning will make every effort to provide a replacement with either superior or equal capabilities and experience” and “if a replacement cannot be found, Prodigy Event Planning will reimburse The Host for any payments made to date”, she offered none of these. When pressed with her own contract words, she cut off all communication. Other wedding coordinators and wedding vendors that I spoke with after this happened said they had given back the fees to the couples whose weddings had been cancelled, even if it went against their contract, because it felt like the right thing to do. I felt like I was nothing more than a paycheck to her, and she had our money and that was all she cared about. The wedding planner that we hired instead (Peake Events) was phenomenal and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. With Peake Events, I always felt like a priority and that I was worth their time. They also didn’t demand payment up front and in fact didn’t take payment until the wedding day. I highly recommend Peake Events, and would never recommend Prodigy Event Planning to anyone.
