Ava and Casey are the best in the business. They made me feel absolutely STUNNING! Ava is honestly the sweetest human I have ever met. She made this whole process easy and was always in communication about timelines, trial, inspo pics etc. She and Casey are a must hire for your big day. My makeup and hair lasted through North Carolinas heat and wind. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt and my girls looked amazing. Do yourself a favor and hire these two! You won't regret it. -

Ava, Casey and their team are nothing but AMAZING! We had a total of 9 people of hair and makeup, and they absolutely executed every look. Being an out of town guest, I found it hard to find hair and make up combo. Once I found Pretty Please, I knew I needed to book them! Ava was so sweet throughout the whole process! From creating the contract, and getting ready timeline to the trial and the big day, Ava and Casey were always there! They took the time to get to know me and my girls throughout the process. Always willing to work with my planner and I! They made adjustments as needed and never had any issues! I cannot recommend the Pretty Please team enough! My makeup and hair stayed out throughout the whole night, despite the humidity and heat! -

These ladies went above and beyond for my makeup and hair. I truly never felt more beautiful! Not only that, but they were more than willing to even come after Rodanthe was hit by a king tide on our street. Their dedication, resilience, and talent AMAZED me and my family! My experience with Ava was over the moon! I had a small and simple wedding, with a small wedding party of just myself and my maid of honor which was my sister. I have really bad anxiety so trying to hire someone to do my make up was monumental in my wedding process. Not only was Ava always responsive via email and wedding wire, but she made me feel at ease even before we met. She recommended doing the make up trial, which I followed through with. I don’t know if I had more fun at the make up trial or on my wedding day. Ava nourished my soul with compliments and encouragement. She showed me helpful tips on how to keep my make up looking flawless throughout my wedding day. She was one of the best parts of my wedding planning. You want a make up artist that is not only honest, but someone you can connect with as well. Ava is not only talented and creating the perfect look for your big day or any other events you are hiring her services for… But she has the biggest heart. I highly recommend her!!! -

Don’t look further for an amazing MUA! Ava completely made our day and made us look absolutely beautiful. She is so kind! From my make up trial to my wedding day - she communicated to all of us about my wedding day! She did an amazing job and our make up lasted all day! If you are looking for a MUA and a hair stylist in this area, I would stop your search here as we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received. Ava and Casey are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and their communication before and during the wedding was perfect. As an anxious bride, Ava was able to help me focus on relaxing and enjoying my day. I wanted to feel like myself especially because I don’t normally wear make up and I was able to with her help! Casey allowed the vision for my hair come to life and she was so sweet and supportive the whole time! It was so so nice having these ladies as a part of our day!! THANKS AVA AND CASEY!! ❤️ -

Ava is so friendly, responsive, and professional. She was happy to answer all of my questions and offered suggestions about my bridal look. Something came up with my original hair stylist and Ava made sure to find a solution and arranged someone else to do my hair for both the trial and day of. I live about 3 hours away from the venue and where Ava was located, but it was a breeze scheduling the trial. On the day of my wedding, Ava went above and beyond my expectations. All of my bridesmaids loved working with her and Ava made sure that everyone has comfortable and confident with their looks. -

Ava and Casey were an absolute dream come true for makeup and hair services for my wedding! From the very beginning they stood out with their professional, friendly and prompt communication. Ava answered any and all questions I had thoroughly and quickly via email from my first inquiry, throughout the planning process, setting up my trial and confirming all day of details. I had questions about the hairstyle I wanted and Casey hopped on the phone with me to discuss various options including giving me advice on how to find the right hair extensions to achieve the look I wanted. When the day of my trial came, it truly felt like I was hanging out with two friends I had known for years - they made me feel so comfortable and we truly had so much fun getting to know each other and perfecting my wedding day look. Both listened very well to my vision, asked me all the right questions, and made great recommendations based on their expertise. I left the trial absolutely loving both my hair and makeup and feeling more confident than I could have hoped for. If possible, I highly recommend doing a trial because they had already earned my complete trust so it allowed me to feel so relaxed on the wedding day, able to just sit back and enjoy being pampered while they recreated my hair and makeup. The fact that we had already gotten to know each other also made the wedding day so fun because I was genuinely excited to see them both again and spend the day with them! They fit in so well with my friends and family, and everyone else was just as pleased with how their hair and makeup turned out as I was! They both have a true gift in being able to listen and understand what you want and then deliver the exact look you described! Ava managed all of the scheduling and kept everything on time or ahead of schedule day of, and she coordinated with my planner to make sure all the timelines fit. Ava and Casey are truly an incredible team, I cannot recommend them highly enough!! -

These are your girls!
Casey and Ava were AMAZING! My wedding was in nags head at the village beach club: my husband and I are from Massachusetts so finding vendors from 10 hours away was tricky. I found pretty please on wedding wire and had a million other replies. But Ava took the time to chat on the phone with me for a hour or so and my gut just told me to book her! And I am so grateful I did. Casey and Ava made myself and the rest of my wedding party so comfortable and beautiful! They are both so kind, caring, loving and genuine! Ava took her time to make sure I lovedddd my makeup. Gave me the option to look while she was in the processes of my makeup (I didn’t need to because I knew she was going To make me look amazing)! I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to do with my hair and Casey just naturally knew exactly the perfect look! I wish I lived closer and could hang out with these fantastic women! Seriously, look no further and book these gorgeous ladies! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Pretty Please. Ava and Casey truly go out of their way to make the day absolutely magical! I did an oceanside elopement, and opted for the Luxe Bridal package, with HMU for my daughter who was my flower girl & maid of honor. Highly recommend getting the trial done, I was happy & content with everything I received, but after seeing some of Ava's work after, I wanted to make a few tweaks which she easily accommodated the day of, and it was absolute perfection. The Luxe package had me completely pampered, and I've never looked more gorgeous in my entire life. At the trial, after showing Casey some of the ideas I had and the extensions I bought, it was like she could immediately read my mind and even had brought the clip I was considering to wear. The day of, my gorgeous makeup and up-do withheld the wind and entire night, especially thanks to the oil blotter and touch up items Ava left for me. For my daughter, she is super picky about what she wants. They absolutely nailed her ideas and she looked stunning, she was thrilled! Ava was even kind enough to help my friend with her eyebrows before she left, and gave us all kinds of tips and tricks. We are so grateful that they were part of our day, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I truly can't recommend them enough! -

Ava was AMAZING! I had been crying earlier in the week from some not so great beauty services back home and Ava made sure I felt beautiful on my special day. She made sure to show me everything she was doing at every step. She even made it out all the way down to Hatteras during a hurricane. Thank you so much!! -

Ava and Casey were the most amazing people and artists! I cannot recommend them enough! As someone that was planning her own wedding from many states away I was nervous. They were both so professional while putting me at ease on a hectic day. There is no one I would recommend more. Do not hesitate to book even sight unseen! -

Natural Make-up
I was nervous about getting professional make-up done because I never wear make-up, and therefore usually feel uncomfortable with any amount of make-up on. I was really nervous that a wedding make-up artist would insist on overdoing it (by my standards). But, Ava was incredible! She listened to me, and did natural make-up that looked amazing! She checked in every step of the way to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. I feel like I'm not alone in wanting "natural make-up" for my wedding day, and I felt like it was hard to find that in amongst the glam make-up. If you want natural make-up Ava is your girl! -

Ava and Casey did amazing on my hair and makeup. I had a photo shoot scheduled for headshots, business cards, and website shoots. They were on time, followed directions, and were very personable. I can not tell you how pleased I was with the outcome of my makeup and hair. It was exactly what I wanted. I looked fabulous but still myself. I will use them again and will recommend them highly!
