Loved my dress!!

I absolutely loved my dress and wouldn’t change a thing!! The second I tried it on for the first time, I knew it was the one! I had an idea of what I wanted in my head and Rachele helped me bring that vision to life. I couldn’t recommend Poffie Girls enough to any future brides!

Such a Great Experience

I went to many bridal boutiques but this was my best experience by far. They were so helpful and the selection was great. I was finally able to say yes and they were great with helping me find a place for alterations. Rachele helped me, and I absolutely loved her!

Great experience

Jennifer at Poffie girls was absolutely wonderful! I had an amazing experience. Initially I didn’t think I was going to find my dress. I tried on different beautiful options but something was missing. Then I showed Jennifer a picture of what I was as looking for and she came out with the dress of my dreams!!! I’m so happy 🥰

Dream Dress

Highly recommend Poffie Girls! One of my best friends got married in July and highly recommended them to me. I went and found my dress almost immediately, which came as a shock to me as I assumed I would have a lot of trouble making a decision. Since then my friends and I have recommended Poffie Girls to other friends who have also found their dream dress there. The experience was easy, comfortable, and exciting. Absolutely recommend!

Awesome Experience

I called several shops and tried to find someone in my area, but was turned down each time. Lauren Kirkley was referred to me by another bridal shop. She was pleasant over the phone and in person. My biggest worry was not finding the perfect look. I said yes to my ceremony dress and reception dress! The 6 hour drive was more than worth it. Many thanks to Lauren at Poffie for making my pink wedding dream a reality. Your service was exceptional.

Beautiful Dresses

I went with bridal shop based on their selection of plus sized dresses. The woman who helped me pick my dress was very sweet and helpful and she actually was the one who picked the dress I ended up wearing at my wedding.

Right place, right time!

True story- I first tried on my wedding dress at another store that I won’t name. The service was awful and they were extremely slow /inattentive, then blamed me for taking too long!! I figured out the designer of the dress and started searching for other stores that carried them. Which brought me to Poffie Girls!!
My experience with Cece and the Poffie Girls team couldn’t have been more different than that first location. You fill out a form describing your dream gown before the appointment. When I got there, Cece had pulled several dresses for me already, one of which was THE dress from the other store! She was so knowledgeable and patient with me, which is what you need in a wedding dress salesperson. 10/5 stars for Poffie Girls, the best in the area by a mile! We even did my bridesmaids dresses there too :)

Best Bridal Boutique

I had a great experience at Poffie Girls! My consultant, Katie, was wonderful! She was very helpful in finding me the perfect dress. She was not pushy at any moment, she was just genuinely trying to help me find out what I felt most comfortable with. The price of the dresses at Poffie Girls are also affordable. I would highly recommend Poffie Girls to all brides!

So helpful and professional

I had a great bridal appointment at Poffie Girls. My consultant, Jonna, was very professional and helpful. I felt like she genuinely wanted to help me narrow down my search and find the right dress. She really listened to my vision and continued to request feedback on every dress I tried on. She encouraged me to be nit-picky about every detail and assured me that it was perfectly acceptable to do that. It helped her find dresses that were even closer to my vision. She had a great ability to interpret my poorly articulated feedback too. When I said something like, “I want a better distinction between the top and bottom,” she knew I meant “I want a belt” and “I would chop off these dangling strings under the belt.” When I said, “This side of the strap is different...” she knew I meant “I want the straps to be symmetrical.” It sounds obvious as written, but my point is that she was really taking the time to understand how I felt about every single aspect, and I appreciated her attention to detail. Having visited other bridal boutiques and trying on at least 15 other gowns, this was the first time that I walked out of the appointment feeling confident and feeling like I’d have fun. Jonna really helped me narrow down EXACTLY what features I’m looking for. She is a true asset to Poffie Girls, for one thing. But I also like the style of the boutique in general. I like that it’s full-service, that there is a mirror in the dressing room (before you go out and show your judgmental entourage, if you even decide to go out and show people), they have a great selection of dresses/veils/jewelry. They were also really good about sending out reminders and thank you messages. Poffie Girls is a top-notch place that makes you feel special. I definitely recommend in the Charlotte area to check them out.

Amazing! Simply amazing!

I am beyond impressed with Poffie Girls. I honestly made my appointment last minute to give me a full day of dress shopping at 3 different gown shops. Not only were they able to get me in, but within an hour of being at Poffies, I had canceled all my other appointments. The selection is outstanding and unique. The dressing rooms and overall atmosphere/design of the shop makes you feel special and like a bride. My consultant, Katie, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Katie, the consultant, played a huge role in helping me feel comfortable enough to say yes to my gown. Every question or fear I had, she had a solution or answer. I did indeed SAY YES TO THE DRESS & it was completely under budget!!! Their prices and quality is something a budget conscious bride can only dream of. I am thrilled with my experience at Poffie Girls, and would recommend to any bride, any day.

BEST Bridal Experience in the CLT Area!

LOVE Poffie Girls! I went shopping alone to look for some bridal gown contenders today to so when my mom and friends come to town, I at least have some dresses I like to show them. When I came in, I was greeted at the front desk and met with my consultant, Lisa, who asked me about my likes and dislikes to get an idea of what I was looking for. I told her I was pretty open to anything A-Line or something that had a natural waste (with a little flexibility). She pulled AMAZING dresses for me to try on. The first two dresses were from the Poffie Girl Exclusive Line and they are in my top 4 contenders. Lisa was amazing to work with. She made me feel comfortable, took the time to dress me up with veils, different belts and head pieces to see how one dress could have so many different looks. Lisa even went above and beyond the call of duty and took photos and video of me in the different dresses with her cell phone when my phone died and texted them to me because she knew I was planning to text them to my mom who lives across the country. Lisa was literally the best consultant I could have asked for. I felt like I had an advocate - someone who reminded me of my mom and my friends - rather than someone who was just trying to sell me something. The other consultants passed through with their kind words, giving honest opinions noting that I looked happier in some dresses over others and gave tips on accessories, too. While I didn't purchase my wedding dress today, I have the BEST feeling knowing that there are dresses I love at Poffie Girls and I can return with my family and friends when I'm ready to make a purchase! If you go to ANY bridal salon in the Charlotte area, make the trip out to Gastonia and checout this GEM - ask for Lisa! You won't regret it!

The Only Place To Shop

I could not have been happier with my experience at Poffie Girls! Everyone there makes you feel so comfortable! The shop is clean and well organized. My consultant, Vicki was knowledgeable in styles and what would look good on me. I am so happy I chose Poffie Girls for my wedding gown!

Love this place!

This is my second time driving 4+ hours to Charlotte, NC just to visit Poffie Girl for my dream dress. I first experienced this place 5 years ago when searching for my prom dress my junior year in high school them again this past February when looking for my dream, wedding dress. Both times I have come home with my dream dress! The consultants are so friendly and helpful!

Beautiful dress!

Jasmine at Poffie Girl’s did such a great job finding my dress. I had shopped for dresses prior but had not found anything I loved. Jasmine listened to everything that I liked about the other dresses I had tried on and found the perfect dress on the first try! It fit perfectly off the rack and I did not even have to alter it. I went into Poffie Girls this past Saturday and I am so happy I did. I had been emailing with Courtney for around a week when she informed me that their was a sale going on. When I got there she had seen that I had came for my appointment so she chose to be my bridal assistant. Courtney was so wonderful and fun to work with. She was helpful, patient and attentive. She pulled tons of dresses for me to try on so I could eliminate certain styles and also hone in on the certain style that I was looking for. She stuck to my budget and even helped me chose the perfect dress that was UNDER my budget! I had been to two other bridal boutiques before going to Poffie Girls. Yet, Poffie Girls service, dress selection and sale dresses went unmatched! Courtney even helped me look at bridesmaids dresses and she informed me that since I bought my dress there, my bridesmaids would get their dresses 10% off if they choose to buy them there. If you're looking for a place to find your wedding dress, stop by Poffie Girls!

I was on a mission to find a certain dress that I had pinned on Pinterest multiple times when looking for a dress! I was at work when I discovered Poffie Girls, so I used the email form to ask if they had the dress I was looking for. After confirming they had the dress, I asked if I could come that afternoon to try it on! Let me tell you, these people are amazing! They worked wonderfully with me and showed me several options. My heart was set on one dress and it is the dress that I ended up saying “yes to the dress.” Every step of the way, the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn’t rush me or make me feel uncomfortable at all. It was the best experience I had when looking for a dress! Words can’t explain how grateful I am for this place and the wonderful staff.

This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, so I was a little anxious going into Poffie Girls. However, I went in with an open mind and a lot of excitement. I was greeted by the staff with a warm welcome when my friends and family and I entered the store. They had me fill out an information form so they had an idea what I was looking for. Once I filled that out they paired me with a consultant. My consultant was Bekah. One word AWESOME!! Our personalities instantly clicked. She explained the whole process to me and told me what to expect. We discussed what I was looking for ( we looked at the pictures I brought) and price range. She then put me in a dressing room to change and then we got to work trying on dresses. Bekah talked me through the whole process so I was very comfortable the entire time. She was very good at reading my face so she knew when I had a but, even if I couldn't vocalize what I wanted to say. With every dress she listened to what I liked and disliked, and we adjusted the dress selection accordingly. She was very good at showing and explaining what could be done to each dress. Bekah was also great at reassuring my mom of any doubts that she had about certain aspects of the dresses and she always made sure I was comfortable. I also had a second consultant who was in training that was helping me, Savannah. While she was still in training she was very helpful and fun to work with, she will turn out to be a great consultant. Lastly, I was so comfortable with Bekah that I was willing to go outside my comfort zone and go with my gut to try on a dress I was unsure of. I was so glad she helped me worked through that because that dress ended up being THE DRESS. I cannot express how great of an experience I had at Poffie Girls and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had an amazing experience with Elizabeth. She had an instinct for what would look good on me, and was very chill and friendly. I felt comfortable the whole time. Poffie Girls is amazing for women who want individual attention and boutique experience without any snobbery or pushing to go over budget. It is worth the drive if you are in Charlotte. Definitely go on a weekday if you can, the store is much less crowded and you will get the staff's undivided attention! Our bridal consultant was very friendly and helped me find just the right gown. They had so many options in my price range and she helped narrow it down when I didn't have any idea what I would like. Highly recommend for bridal gowns!

I worked with Bailey to find my perfect wedding dress. Let me tell you, she went above and beyond to make sure I walked away with the perfect dress. Not only was she a great consultant, she was a great friend and a shoulder to cry on as some moments got tough! She also helped me pick out my bridesmaids dresses. Dress shopping was something I was a little nervous about knowing how picky I am. Poffie Girls was just the second place we went and I loved them! Our assigned sales person was so great - personable but not too pushy, she quickly understood what styles I liked and wanted to try and most definitely was the reason I found THE DRESS I loved and immediately wanted. She picked it out from the back and it was one of the last I tried on and I knew it was my favorite. They were very timely in responsive in getting my dress and veil and making alterations recommendations when I did have a semi-tight window with the timeline of my wedding. I loved working with them every step of the way and got SO many compliments on how unique and beautiful my dress was.

Hands down one of the BEST Bridal shops around!!! After numerous trips to different Bridal Shops and Boutiques, not finding that perfect dress...Poffie Girls had me saying "Yes" to the dress. I had scheduled like seven appointments in different bridal stores, so I went to Poffie Girls very relaxed, the place is really nice, very pretty and really clean... staff is super friendly, they asked me what style I was looking for, I tried the second and I bought it! I just fall in love... My dress is so beautiful and fancy and... I can just describe it as a dream! We celebrate a lot and they gave us champagne... best bridal experience! now i have to cancel all my next appointments.

Poffie Girls is definitely the place to go! This was my 2nd Bridal shop and my last Bridal shop. My consultant was Glenda. She went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful. Poffie Girls in Gastonia gave us the most excellent service. We didn't have to wade through racks of dresses to find our dream dress. Our attendant seemed to know what we were looking for from just a short conversation. She new how to pen the dress exactly how it would look after alterations. We didn't have to do the work of looking, looking, looking, they did the work. If I had a question or problem they attended to it instantly. The staff treated us just like we were family. I would recommend Poffie Girls in an instant to anyone looking for formal wear or bridal gowns. They had a wonderful selection of jewelry, shoes and hair accessories.

My experience at Poffie Girls was great! I had Katie as my consultant and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress. Even though other customers were there, the staff made me feel like the only bride in the store. I even found my veil and bridesmaids dresses during my appointment! Katie and the Poffie Girls staff really know how to make the most of your budget, helping you find the perfect dress for your special day! I would recommend Poffie Girls to all brides!! This boutique makes the dress shopping experience fun and smooth!

Absolutely loved ???? my Poffie Girls experience! I had my heart set on a dress that I had seen online. They were able to find my dress and got it shipped to me within weeks. When it came in they promptly notified me and and when I tried on the dress I knew it was the right choice for me. They were very professional and worked with my schedule. Overall they made my wedding dress hunt a breeze!

Okay, so I have to admit that going wedding dress shopping at Poffie Girls was not my idea (my mom, aunt, and cousin had all bought their wedding dresses from this shop, and it was very important to them that I at least try something on here). Before I had gone to the store, I had wrongly formed some negative opinions based on other reviews I had read (people were rude, prices were too high, etc.), and I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to find a single dress in my budget (a firm $800). However, from the moment I walked in, I was treated so politely, and with a lot of respect (even though my budget was so low...it didn't even have a bracket on their "looking for" sheet). Glenda helped me that day, and I have to say she is AMAZING. She really listened to me regarding styles and fits that I wanted, and she gave some great recommendations as well. She ended up bringing me 8 dresses to try on, and then going back to get 2 more...she was very, very patient with me. She offered a lot of help and great advice to make sure I walked away with "the one". (Prior to that, Glenda had removed the price tags from the dresses so I wouldn't just choose one based on that.) I ended up picking the perfect dress...it was everything that I had wanted and it looked absolutely great the way it was (yay saving money at the alteration shop!). The best part was, after I said "yes to the dress", she showed me the price tag...the dress was on sale for just under $800. At my wedding, I got so many compliments about the dress...everyone was talking about how unique it was and assumed I had bought it while I had been living out of the country. I felt great to have found such a special dress. I would absolutely recommend Poffie Girls!!

Poffie Girls was the place I found my wedding dress! It was actually the first place i went to try on dresses. I arrived with magazines showing the dresses I liked. The Poffie Team pulled dresses for me to try on. I was a little overwhelmed at first since I had not tried on dresses before. After trying on over 10 dresses, I ended up putting the 1st dress I tried on again and that was it! Poffie Girls was very clear on the timeframe, payment, and 1st dress fitting. I was very pleased with the experience!

Kayleigh was AMAZING to work with!!! I can't say enough great things about her. I had the time of my life working with her at Poffie Girls. First, the place itself is beautiful. They have by far the best selection of dresses I'd ever seen and had exactly the style I was looking for - girly, fun, but not over the top. Their dresses were also much more modern and young age (in a good way!) than many other stores I looked at that just had a really matronly style of stress. Kayleigh made me and my family feel so welcome from the start, and she made the whole process so fun and non-stressful. She took her time and made sure she understood exactly what I was looking for. By the second dress, she had nailed it. I tried on many dresses but we kept coming back to that one and I eventually went for it! She also decked me out in jewelry and a veil (which I ended up buying because they matched so well!) so I could get the true bride experience. Despite her enthusiasm, she never once pressured or pushed me. She supported whatever decision I made and emphasized that the day was all about me. Poffie girls is just such a fun place - everything I would imagine in a bridal salon and more. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun experience and lots of great options!! They even had cake samples and champagne while I was there - so much fun! Thanks Poffie Girls!!

Poffie Girls was great in helping me find the perfect dress, shoes, veil, and bridesmaids dresses. I finished everything in one day there. They were amazing and affordable. All of my appointments at Poffie Girls were amazing! Casey Thomas was my consultant at my first wedding dress appointment, she picked a wild card dress after she picked a couple of dresses in the style I "thought" I wanted. I ended up falling in love with the wild card dress even though I had no idea I would love that silhouette! All other fitting appointments were great! I had no major catastrophes with my dress and it was perfect on my wedding day :)

All I can say is WOW... Poffie Girls is above the rest! I went in there to try on wedding dresses as I had heard great things about Poffie Girls. The very first time I tried on dresses I found the ONE! Poffie Girls has such a great selection and their staff is so friendly. They truly make you feel like the only bride in the store. The staff helped me pick out the dress, earrings, a bracelet and my veil. Not only did I find my wedding dress there, but I ordered my bridesmaids dresses and my rehearsal dinner dress there as well. They have a great selection and it was a one-stop shop for my dress needs. On my wedding day I got so many compliments on my dress and several people said they had never seen a dress like it! I felt really special and I knew I made the right choice. I was SO happy with my Poffie Girls experience I'd HIGHLY recommend it to future brides!!!!

I am a huge fan of Poffie Girls! I bought my prom dress here many many years ago and returned when it was time to buy my wedding dress. Everything that they did was so personalized. Casey, my consultant in December made me feel so comfortable. There are dresses in EVERY size, not just a size 10 or 6 like most boutiques carry. My dress was perfect, it fit me and my budget to a tee.

Also they had an amazing altering service, they worked with us at the last minute and made my dress fit even better!

I am still in love with Poffie Girls! After getting my wedding dress there for a fabulous price, I went back and picked out the bridesmaid dresses from there and my mother also got her dress from there. I tried on a ton of dresses at this store and others, and was never made to feel rushed or that I needed to decreased my shopping time. Iris was the best sales representative I have worked with and was super friendly, professional, and honest. I got a designer name dress for way less than I would have ever imagined and it was perfect! Poffie Girls sometimes gets a bad reputation for selling expensive dresses, but this was not the case at all for me. I would highly recommend Poffie Girls to anyone looking for wedding or formal dress (short or long!) And ask for Iris!

Poffie Girls is amazing! I really can't say enough about them. I had a quick turnaround between getting engaged and getting married and they were able to work with the designer to get my dress in quickly. Did I mention that the prices are reasonable for pretty much any budget?? I had SO many compliments on my beautiful Stella York gown... I couldn't have been happier.

I have had wonderful service every time I have stepped foot into Poffie Girls, as a bridesmaid and as a bride. They have always gone above and beyond, especially Sara. Anytime she has seen me, and hasn't been with another customer, she has immediately helped me with anything I needed! Make sure you make an appointment if you are wanting assistance because they can get really busy, especially during prom season. I went to many places in Charlotte looking at my dress and ended up getting my dress at the Poffie Girls. I really enjoyed the experience with Poffie Girls because it felt very personalized and they were very helpful. They have a large variety of dresses for all budgets and some professionals who have worked there for so many years that they really can give great suggestions based on what you tell them you are looking for and your body type. One of the times I had to go for my fitting, I started to feel light-headed and had to sit down (it felt like a Sex and the City Movie moment). The seamstress and her staff were so sweet and even got me crackers and a drink to help me feel better. I was so embarrassed but they made me feel at ease. I definitely made sure I didn't lock up my knees on my wedding day so that wouldn't happen again. I was so happy with my dress and all of the service I got at poffie girls!

My wedding gown was completely free. Thanks to Poffie Girls and Brides Across America. Poffie Girls is a bridal and formal gown shop located in Gastonia, NC that participates in the charity Brides Across America. This charity donates beautiful wedding gowns to deployed or recently deployed military or their fiancees. The love of my life and now husband is a US army Veteran who served in Iraq in the Army Corps of Engineers. There are many reasons why he is my hero, but he would not want me to share these publicly. So you will have to trust me when I say that he is (like many others) a silent hero to this country. Receiving this gown made both of us both very happy during a very dark time. Loved my bridal experience at Poffie Girls! It was recommended to me by my cousin who also bought her dress there! I originally went to browse through the Maggie Sottero trunk show. My mom picked out a David Tutera and was dying for me to try it on! I was crying before I stepped out of dressing room. The whole experience was magical. She put the veil on and it was done! Choosing Poffie Girls as wedding central for Amanda's dress, bridesmaid dresses and Mother of the Bride Dress and was the perfect choice! The wedding dress experience was so wonderful and Renee was so friendly and helpful! Amanda chose the 9th dress she tried on. A beautiful blush David Tutera dress full of sparkle and magic!! All 5 bridesmaid dresses were purchased here also. Renee again came to the rescue when it came time to order the Mother of the Bride dress and went way beyond the call of duty!!

After searching all over Charlotte for a wedding dress we had a friend suggest Poffie Girls. The staff is helpful and makes you feel like you are their only client. Vangie was my daughter's consultant and she knew exactly what to find for her. I had an amazing experience at Poffie Girls! Vangie was amazing and helped me find the dress I fell in love with. All the staff was so friendly and Vangie also helped us find my Bridal Party's dresses as well! Vangie was patient and kept pulling dresses for me to try on until I fell in love with a David Tutera Dress. Every time I had to visit the store I had great service. Alterations department was friendly and everything went so smoothly. I was measured perfectly so I did not have to have very my alterations done, except for the top of my dress, and my second fitting everything was perfect! I recommend Poffie Girls for anyone who wants a great experience for yourself as well as having your family join!!

I bought my wedding dress from Poffie Girls and couldn't be happier with the personal service I got! I worked with Mireya and she was so patient and understanding. The day I bought my dress, we kept the employees 30 minutes late, but they were not rushing us out or forcing me to decide before I was ready. They let us take pictures, hold a bouquet, and walk around the fitting room area with dimmed lights to see what the dress would look like in "real life lighting." I got a beautiful gown for much less than I expected to pay! I plan on having my alterations done there as well as buying bridesmaid dresses! I am so thrilled with the entire experience!

The staff at Poffie Girls were great to work with. I made my appointment and when I arrived they were attentive to me and my family. When I gave them an idea of my dream dress they were able to pull samples that matched what I wanted and in my budget. The staff were so friendly and made me comfortable as I tried on dresses. I ended up purchasing my dress off the rack and did not have alterations done at the store. Overall a great experience.

The ladies at Poffie Girls were so sweet. I had the dress I wanted in mind when I showed up there. I tried it on, said I want it - and walked out with a purchased dress. Not all women will be able to do that, but I had searched and searched for a dress and that is the one I seen online that I compared all the dresses too. I live about 2 hours away and the closet place to me that had this dress big enough for me to actually try on! All other places closet to me were a size 6! I am a size 12-14! When I showed up that weekend it happened to be a Maggie Sottero Trunk show and I got an extra 10% off, which was awesome. My dress came in about 4 weeks before planned which was a HUGE weight lifted. When I came in for alterations they were very helpful since I was 2 hours away they told me exactly what to do and helped me get my dress altered and in my hands within a week and a half after it arrived back at the store. I would highly recommend this locally owned and operated shop! MUCH better than those big box stores that has the same boring dresses in them! :) You get treated like the princess you are there.

They were the nicest group of women! They just want you to find what you want and will listen to whatever budget that you are working with. They offer a wide selection of dresses and work with you to get what you need done to them! Great experience. Very personable people!

This dress boutique is PERFECT! For brides who want to avoid David's Bridal and larger scale dress shops- this is the place to go!
Their building is so quaint and inviting. The staff were fantastic. Each time I visited, I was made to feel so special and every consultant and seamstress I worked with was always warm and helpful.

They have a great selection of dresses - for all budgets. When my mother and I told our consultant our budget, she honored it completely, but also gave me lower price options as well. She was looking for dresses that I would like, and wasn't concerned with finding a large price tag to sell me. I ended up buying a dress that was much lower than I expected, and I really appreciate the focus on the customer, not the sale.

Their jewelry, shoes and cocktail dress selections are also great.

This boutique should not be skipped for brides searching for a more personalized, but affordable dress shopping experience.

Elaine at Poffie Girls was without a doubt the best consult we had during the search for my dress. She was pleasant, listened to what I was looking for, made sure it was what I wanted and not what others were steering me towards. And at the end of the day I decided to drive the extra miles to Poffie Girls to purchase my dress versus a closer shop. And it was all due to Elaine! I couldn't have purchased a dress from anyone other than her - she definitely provided us with the best service! I love my dress and it was perfect on my wedding day! I would suggest anyone searching for the perfect dress to give Poffie Girls a try, even if you don't find your dress there you'll at least be greeted with quality service!

I could not imagine finding my wedding dress anywhere else. The staff at Poffie Girls is simply great. I found my dress there and they did my alterations as well. The alterations department did a fabulous job on my dress. Then... less than a week before my wedding, I broke my foot. I was crushed! My dress was hemmed 4" longer because of my 4" heels. I called Tuesday morning in tears and they had me come down and get the dress fixed. The entire staff was there for me and they did everything to calm me. Less than 2 days later, my dress was the perfect length! I highly doubt I would have gotten such personalized attention from anywhere else. Thanks Poffie Girls....you seriously made our wedding day wonderful!

I rented an old Bentley from Poffie Girls as a surprise to my groom. It was the perfect touch at the end of our day. The ride was comfortable and relaxing and the driver was very friendly and professional.

The only place I would recommend for a dress! I live in Charlotte and was getting married in Charleston, I wanted a simple dress... went to several places in Charlotte, nobody would listen to me.. kept bringing me BIG dresses. I wanted a long bridesmaid style dress in white (for a destination). I made an appointment with Maraya and she worked with me, patiently and with so much energy for 3 hours! I had my MOH join me to see the dress and order the bridesmaid dresses. Everything arrived in less than the quoted time! I had 4 girls in the wedding and their dresses fit like a glove on all of them!!! They took the time to even add straps to a couple so that they would be more comfortable. On Wednesday, the day before heading down to Charleston, my MOH tried on her dress and it was too big - she took it to Poffie Girls and they took it up within the hour on the same day! I highly recommend Poffie Girls! They were unbelievable! Service means so much!!!

They were great. I got my dress on sale off the rack for $330. We also did all the tux rentals from there. Had no problems.

I loved Poffie Girls! To be honest, I was a little put off by some of the reviews I had read, so I was anxious to go there, but once I got there and met with Sarah, I was convinced this is where I wanted to be. Sarah gave me great advice and compliments and made me feel like I was her top priority. The alterations department were wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to try Poffie Girls!

I had the perfect wedding from the beginning to the end. The beginning was Poffie Girls. I have referred many of my friends to Poffie Girls over the years, and when it was my turn, I knew exactly where to start. I love Poffie Girls. First, Poffie Girls has a semi-closed inventory, which means when you walk in the store you are not overwhelmed by dresses. They have plenty of dresses on their showroom floor to look through, but the bulk of their dresses are in their storeroom. From the second you walk into Poffie Girls, you know it is going to be a great experience because you are assigned a consultant who is with you from beginning to end. Sara was my consultant and she was fabulous. Second, your consultant starts by asking you what you want out of a wedding dress and then how much you want to spend. One of the worst things is falling in love with a dress that you cannot afford. You see it happen all the time on "Say Yes to the Dress." The consultant does not pull any dresses you cannot afford. She will start you out with about 5 dresses and will keep trying to you find the right one. The dress I wore was a dress that I would have never picked out for myself, but that is the beauty of working with an experience consultant, she knows what looks good . . . and she made me look amazing! Third, your consultant will help you with everything else . . . from bridesmaid dresses to tuxedos to flower girl dresses to accessories! Poffie Girls can do it all!

I bought my wedding dress from Poffie Girls for my wedding this past May. Poffie Girls made me feel like a princess when I was there. I would recommend it to anyone and will take my engaged friends there to have the full experience of wedding gown shopping. The lights were dimmed as I walked out of the dressing room with romantic music playing and lights. It was so much fun! My dress was perfect and on sale, I was wayyyy under budget.

The ladies at Poffie Girls give excellent, one-on-one bridal attention and service. I found my dream wedding dress in their location, and the ordering process was flawless. They were even kind enough to inform me that if I waited a few months, they would be having a sale, and I would save money, but still have plenty of time for the order to arrive in time for alterations before my wedding. Plus, they gave my mother an additional 20% off of her stunning Mother of the Bride dress.

All of the employees at Poffie Girls were exceptional through the entire process of finding and purchasing and wedding gown. Not only were they there to help me find the right dress, they also helped with jewelry, veil, and crystal hair clips. They are to be commended for making something stressful at times very easy.

I cannot say enough about Poffie Girls. My bridal consultant, Sarah, listened to what I wanted and delivered. She stayed within my budget and I ended up buying the second dress I tried on all because she listened to me. She did not try to push dresses on my that were outside my price range and even called to follow up right before my wedding to make sure everything was acceptable. I was highly impressed with my experience and can't say enough.

The ladies at Poffie Girls were so kind and did fabulous work! I purchased my Watters dress and my hand-beaded monogrammed floor-length veil (pretty much my favorite thing ever!!) and blusher at their store. The service when picking out my gown was great and it arrived rather quickly once it was ordered. The seamstresses were amazing at my alterations as well. I would recommend Poffie Girls to anyone in the Gastonia/Charlotte NC area!

I would definitely recommend Poffie Girls to anyone looking for their dream wedding gown. This was by far the best bridal shop that I visited. The sales people were very helpful and not pretentious. They have all types of dresses. The shop is very comfortable and they allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted. Many stores try to limit the number of dresses that you try on. Also, when I found "the one", they allowed to take pictures with my own camera and gave me the designer and name of the dress. A lot of stores won't do this because they fear that you will try to find the dress online for a cheaper price. Although it was a little bit of a drive from Charlotte, NC, it was definitely worth it.

I visited Poffie Girls after seeing the dress I absolutely had to have online, and found them as a vendor. It was completely random, but I like to think it was fate! The sales team was exceptional, and they even indulged me as I tried on 20 dresses, just to make sure that the one I went there for was the one (which it was). I recieved a hand-written thank you note after we purchased the dress, a reminder to have my dress steamed, and even a follow-up call after the ceremony to wish me well. The setting is very relaxing and they really work with the bride to make sure she gets the dress that not only fits her style, but also her budget.

However, I would recommend not using their seamstress. I found her very unpleasant and chose to go elsewhere to have my final fittings. But I wouldn't let her sour personality sour my entire experience. The rest of the staff is excpetional.

What a great place to find my dress! They showed me at least 20 dresses! Even though I found "the dress" after trying 3 on, they wanted to make sure that I found the perfect dress. I was able to dress my entire wedding party there and my mom found her dress. When my dress came in with a hole, they fixed it right away so I didn't have to worry about anything. Wonderful service and I could not have felt prettier on my day!
