Naveen is more than a DJ, he is the ultimate hype man

If you want to hire a DJ that gives 110%, book Naveen. Naveen is passionate, energetic and eager to get to know his couples personally. During the first call it was clear Naveen cared about our wedding specifically and asked us questions to understand the vibe we were looking for. Throughout our engagement, Naveen would text me videos and pictures of his setup at my venue and other wedding clips to share ideas. He was excellent at checking in and being present during the planning process.

I booked Naveen because he was able to offer everything I was looking for. He did a wonderful job as DJ/MC and also shared our love story, set up uplighting, handed out glow sticks, provided a monogram and incorporated some entertaining surprises. For example, Naveen called the entire room to the dance floor for a group photo which was so exciting and a great memory. Another surprise was when he had us lifted up on chairs during the beginning of open dancing. We loved every minute of it!

Overall Naveen was able to elevate the energy of the room and our guests loved the music. He did a phenomenal job with announcements and played every song we asked for. I told Naveen I wanted a club atmosphere and he delivered. His equipment is top notch and the sound quality and volume was impeccable. He greeted us when we arrived at the reception and said goodbye at the end of the night. He is more than a DJ, he was the ultimate hype man and truly cared that we were having the best time on our wedding day.

We also used Platinum Event Group for videography. We hired 2 videographers and the videos they delivered blew me away and went above and beyond my expectations. We received a 1 minute teaser, highlight video and a feature film that we will treasure forever. The video quality was phenomenal. They used several cameras to capture all angles at the ceremony and even used a drone to capture stunning footage of the ceremony and reception sites. They did an outstanding job capturing all the special moments of our day and rewatching it had me laughing and crying all over again. The video is a memory I get to relive and I will cherish this forever. Photos are nice, but a video is priceless. Book the video! You will not regret it.

Best and Flexible Wedding DJ

We originally were getting Married in May 2020, but then Covid hit. Naveen was so flexible with our venue and our location. We ended up moving the wedding to my parents backyard and Naveen came over in advance to scope out the space and suggest where to setup. He also looked at all the options for power, and advised what we would need to rent - such as generators. The lighting was beautiful once it got dark and he played all the Telugu music for my family and I. Naveen also played a mix of Bollywood and English music. He also provided a photo booth, that was really awesome. I can't say enough about Naveen. Thank You!

Wedding DJ Services

Over 15 years ago DJ Naveen as a young kid just starting out, was the DJ for my brothers wedding in Cleveland Ohio. When I got engaged, I planned a destination wedding in Mexico, and planned a reception in Cleveland, Ohio for my local friends, and my parents friends. My dad contacted Naveen and he came to Cleveland for our reception at the Days Inn and Suites Hotel. We had about 200 people, Naveen brought Amber up lighting which was very elegant. Naveen also surprised us with a TV DJ booth, and he was able to play pictures on the TV from our wedding in Mexico. We had a great time with Naveen, and he was even better then the first time we remembered him over 15 years ago. It goes to show, if you love what you do, and you are passionate about it, then you will sustain for a long time.

Columbus Wedding DJ

DJ Naveen came to Columbus Ohio to DJ our fusion Indian and American Wedding that we hosted at the museum. We had a Jurrasic Park Theme, so Naveen has some cool colors with up lights and fun music. It was a small intimate wedding but Naveen was a great MC and DJ. He interacted with the crowd, played music for my family and friends, and had some cool dance lighting as well. He also helped us with the music and microphones for the wedding ceremony. Thanks Naveen for everything

Excellent Wedding DJ

We hire DJ Naveen after he did our cousins wedding nearly 10 years ago at the same venue. Naveen worked well with our wedding planner, along with all of our other vendors. Naveen made multiple custom music edits for my friends and family, for the dances during the weekend events. Naveen was the DJ for our Friday night event, which was the sangeet / garba night, then on Saturday he covered the music outdoors for the baraat, along with the drummer, then he played music and helped coordinate the ceremony. The reception was the main event. I had a certain vision and Naveen delivered. He worked extensively with my florist and brought over 50 up lights to make the room pop! He also provided indoor fireworks and cloud dance for the first dance. He was the MC also, introducing everyone, and running the program. Once open dance started, the floor was full until the very last song. You will be very happy to hire DJ Naveen for all your wedding events.

Best DJ I've experienced

I've been to plenty of weddings but the DJ/Officiant services we received from Naveen were above and beyond anything I have experienced. Naveen officiated AND DJ'd our wedding. His ceremony services were beautiful- he was very responsive to our requests, and the ceremony he conducted was thoughtful, provoking, and heartfelt.

As for DJing- we had guests dancing ALL NIGHT who I've never seen dance. Some of the guests went out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed the DJ's services.
He was great at feeling the vibe of the room and changing the music according to what the guests want. At first we were hesitant because he probably one of the pricier DJ's I spoke to, but I had heard good things and I know how important the DJ is, so I went with it and I'm glad we did.

He was willing to meet with us whenever we needed, listened to ALL of our requests, and even assisted in some of the planning and coordination.

Naveen is an extremely hard worker and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. He takes pride in his work and is worth every dollar.

DJ Naveen and I go way back so it was a no brainer to hire him for my two day fusion wedding. My husband Grant and I hosted a welcome dinner on Friday night July 6th, Naveen provided wonderful music, the speakers sounded amazing, and beautiful up lighting for the venue. On Saturday we went all out and got all of Naveen's services. He did the DJ, MC, the sound and dance lighting and up lighting. Over 50 up lights at our venue, and they changed colors during open dancing. He also put extra speakers on each side, as our hall was long and narrow, so guests who were seated far away could hear everything, especially during the love story and the speeches. We got compliments that everyone could hear well. The TV booth was awesome as DJ Naveen played music videos and our picture slideshow. We also had glow sticks that guests got to keep, really brought out the energy. We are so glad we went with DJ Naveen. Thank you!

We hired Naveen for our fusion wedding in Pittsburgh, PA on June 30th 2018. Naveen provided music first for the ceremony outdoors. It was very hot, but he kept the ceremony on time, and played music my parents wanted. Once the ceremony was done, Naveen called everyone inside for snacks while playing some light music. The ballroom doors opened and WOW, it was amazing. Lights all around the room, TVs with our logo, during our first dance we had the cloud effect and the fireworks, it was magical. Naveen was a great MC, he ran the program, BUT, when dancing started, that is where he really shined. After about 10 minutes of english music, Naveen did a 45 minutes bollywood music set per our request, and he killed it. He kept changing the music, mixing the music, he was dancing at the booth, the lights were changing, it was awesome! Thank you so much Naveen and your entire team!

We hired Naveen for our traditional Punjabi wedding on June 29th 2018 in West Virginia. We had a small intimate wedding for myself, my wife, and close family and friends. Naveen worked with us on the phone to make sure the layout, schedule, song choices, were all what we wanted. I was so happy that Naveen was able to play all the bhangra and Punjabi songs that my wife wanted and the crowd enjoyed. Naveen also helped us with wedding ceremony decorations, through a company he works with. The lights Naveen had were amazing, they changed colors during dancing, and really enhanced the party. Thank you for helping us celebrate the wedding we always dreamed of. You are a true professional and the real "master of ceremonies".

From the beginning, you have been responsive, easy to work with, fun and friendly, and understanding that this was our party and that you were there to facilitate us and our guests having a great time.

Specific things we loved:
1) Musical accents during the ceremony - I'd never seen this before, and it really heightened the mood
2) The tremendous walk-in to the ceremony with the dhol player and banging music
3) Your sound system at the ceremony and reception
4) The entrances of our family and bridal party - so fun

We hired DJ Naveen for our son's reception on January 20th 2018. It was amazing, the party would be nothing without you Naveen, you made the party rock, your music, your MC, he had us all enjoying on the floor, and you were both part of the celebrations, the party is nothing without the DJ and the music. I have attended many parties, but there is nothing like what you did Naveen, another level of music, another level of lighting, another level of MC, you involved the whole party on the floor, and if you were not here Naveen, this party would have failed. DJ Naveen was the DJ for my sister back in 2013 - he killed it - so we hired him for our destination wedding on November - we had outdoor ceremony on the beach and indoor reception. For the ceremony Naveen have music and microphones and brought a generator also - so he brought all the power, we did not have to worry. During the reception, we had amazing music, lighting, and more, Naveen killed it again...

I hired DJ Naveen for my daughters wedding - we had a traditional Pakistani wedding - Naveen played music during dinner and also acted as the MC. We did not have any dancing, but I had seen Naveen before, and liked his professionalism. He made the announcements, and played music during snack time and dinner time - both older and younger folks enjoyed. The up lighting, and the name light were also nice. Thank you DJ Naveen

DJ Naveen did our friends wedding back in April, we were really impressed with his work, so we hired him for our mixed Indian and American wedding and reception. Naveen played wonderful music, had great lighting, the love story was fantastic, and he blended the western and Indian culture, so my in laws and there friends were happy. We saw DJ Naveen at a friends wedding and then called him a few days later for our two day October wedding at the Henry hotel in Dearborn, MI. We had the baraat on Saturday - Naveen played music and hyped up the crowd and we had a Dhol player as well. Naveen even called me out to come dance the end - traditionally the bride does not dance in the baraat, but Naveen gave us a lot of ideas how do make our wedding unique. During the reception we had awesome music, lighting, Naveen provided the cloud dance for our first dance, he made music mixes for us, played some Indian music, top 40, hip hop, he really mixed the music well. For the ceremony, Naveen provided screens and projectors, and hooked up the videographer camera for the live feed, which my parents really wanted. Again we had beautiful music for the ceremony, beautiful lighting, Naveen even provided us six microphones for the ceremony. Thank you again DJ Naveen for all your hard work

We first met DJ Naveen at Olive Garden, November 2016. He came recommended by my sister, and some other family. My fiance Emily and I were having a mixed fusion Indian and White wedding. We hired Naveen for the baraat (grooms parade), he provided music and a dhol player, then we had the indian wedding ceremony, then lunch, then we had the american ceremony outside, Naveen provided audio and mics for that, and then the evening grand reception. We loved the photo booth, and we had a monopoly and board game theme, so Naveen used a monopoly backdrop we had, for the photo booth. The lighting blew us away, the up lighting, and even the dance floor lighting. Naveen played all the songs for Emily and I, we did not want much of the ethnic songs, but he sprinkled in a few to appease my family. We could not be happier for how everything turned out, it was Naveen's birthday on our wedding day, and he was still happy to DJ for us, and we all sang him Happy Birthday at the end of the night!

When you think of an amazing wedding there are a few things that come to mind… good food, open bar and AMAZING music. Thanks to DJ Naveen almost everyone stayed to the very end of the reception and the sangeet night party - the night before!!! We were and are still to this day told how great the music was!! We mentioned the type of music we liked once and he knew exactly what we wanted! He played everything from old/new bollywood hits, to old school hip hop, to EDM!! We were in amazing hands with DJ Naveen and never felt the need to check in with him! If there is one thing I can say with certainty it is booking DJ Naveen is the BEST and easiest decision you will make!

Aside from the amazing music, DJ Naveen was very on top of things! He made the whole process so simple—which if you have planned a wedding you know that is never the case!!! He responded very quickly from the initial email I sent all the way up until the day of the wedding. He is very knowledgeable and even handled many of the conversations with other vendors which was of great help when we needed to figure out AV, décor, lighting, etc. He is also one of the few vendors that will be honest with you and tell you NOT to spend more on certain things that would not really have an impact, and would give you better ideas on what you could spend on. There is a reason DJ Naveen has the great reputation he has!! Seriously… just book him.

Naveen at Platinum Event Group was so helpful in the planning process from the very beginning. He gathered all the details needed to ensure that we had a flawless reception. It was so nice being able to relax knowing that our reception was taken care of and the flow of things was perfect. We have been married now for over one month and we still can't stop talking about how much fun the entire reception was and we continue to get compliments on the amazing reception thanks to Naveen's abilities. We hired DJ Naveen for our mixed Sikh and Hindu Wedding weekend. We had events on September 22nd and September 23rd 2017. September 22nd in the morning we had our baraat outside at the Sikh Gurdwara, Naveen provided music and a dhol player, it was very festive and he got everyone involved. That evening we had our sangeet party, Naveen had beautiful lighting, sound, dj, mc, and a dhol player. On Saturday, was our grand reception. The lighting transformed the ballroom, we also had dancing on the clouds for the first dance, along with video DJ during open dancing, that is something I wanted, and DJ Naveen was able to play music videos of the popular Indian and American songs during dancing. We had seen Naveen perform at a few weddings, and we were excited for him to be our DJ. Our wedding was multi cultural, Mexican and Indian. Naveen personally came to our events, and we appreciated that. Friday night we had the Indian themed event, we had the baraat in the parking lot, with music and the drummer, Naveen brought my wife out to dance in the end, which was really awesome. During the wedding ceremony, Naveen played wonderful music and provided microphones for the two priests. We hosted a dinner after the evening ceremony and Naveen played wonderful music for that. Saturday we had the western themed reception, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Naveen provided beautiful up lighting, a monogram, spot lights, he performed our love story, and then he rocked the dance floor. We had Mexican, Indian, and Top 40 English music. My brother hired Platinum Event Group for his wedding in July 2017, and they did a wonderful job, so we hired them again fr my wedding on September 15th and September 16th 2017. The events took place in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was a traditional Pakistani Muslim two day mega wedding. Friday night, Platinum Event Group provided us a DJ, a fabulous MC, that everyone would not stop talking about, lighting around the room, two dhol players (drummers), and 10 dancers for the entrance of the groom. My husband was from out of town, with limited family, so we wanted to make him feel welcome, and we had a great sound and light show for this. The next day, again we had a great reception, with DJ and MC, great dancing, lighting, and sound. Platinum Event Group played all the music we requested, and made sure to make things different from my brothers wedding. They also provided a photo booth, which was a big hit

There are not enough good things I could say about Naveen Sharma to truly convey how amazing he was at our wedding! We had the pleasure of having Naveen on Saturday September 9th 2017 in St. Joseph, MI at Shadowland banquet center. Naveen is a fantastic MC, he is so elegant and well spoken and knows how to read a group perfectly. Naveen kept the reception flowing smoothly all night. Everyone was on the dance floor at some point during the night. My favorite thing about Naveen is how much he genuinely cares for his clients. You are not just a paycheck for Naveen, you are important and interesting, and he wants to get to know you so that he can create the best evening possible for you. Naveen cares about his clients, he is amazing at what he does, and you can tell that he loves his career. If Naveen is available on your wedding date, then book him ASAP... do not wait or someone else will book him! You get what you pay for, and we spent around $5000 for Naveen for all his services, and if we had to do it again, we would gladly have paid more! You would be crazy NOT to have him!

We hired Naveen Sharma for our Indian themed night event on Friday September 8th 2017. Naveen and his team drove to St. Joseph, MI - we had a destination wedding. I was marrying an Indian man, so we decided to have the Indian party on Friday, and the western ceremony and reception on Saturday (which Naveen also did). Friday night, we had beautiful lighting, decor, music, Naveen worked with my husbands family on all there music selections. He also worked well with our wedding planner. Naveen Sharma, you exceeded our expectations by 100%. We knew you were great when we first met you but we could have never foreseen how even more fantastic of a DJ you were just as you are experienced, professional, knowledgeable, organized, and reliable. Even through all the crazy events, Mounika and I would stop and say, wow I love this freakin song! You hit the nail right on the head in understanding our style, the love story was EPIC, and bringing us Taco Bell to eat, to re-create our first date, wow, Mounika was in tears. All throughout the reception our family and friends told us how much fun they were having and that it is the best wedding they have ever attended. We have YOU to thank for that! Playing such a great variety of music including every song that we requested. The lighting was on point, the up lights, the spot lights, everything was perfect! You also made one heck of an MC keeping the guests involved and hyping up the crowd. The sound system was very powerful, crisp, clean, the bass sounded great, the microphone was clear, so everything was fantastic! Naveen was my sisters wedding DJ over 10 years ago and I called him after I got engaged and I was happy to know he was still in the business. I booked him right away for my fusion wedding, my wife is not Indian - so we wanted a mix of music. Naveen drove out to Fort Wayne, Indiana for our reception. He provided amazing amber lighting, really transformed the ballroom, DJ services, MC services, and he helped out with the ceremony audio and mics as well. Naveen drove up the night before, which was nice of him, its hard to be away from family and kids, but Naveen is so dedicated to his craft, and that is why he has been doing this business for over 15 years. As the uncle of the bride, I was put in charge to find DJ and Entertainment for our family wedding on Saturday August 19th 2017, the wedding was at Ann Arbor Marriott hotel. Our decor company highly recommended Naveen Sharma, we had taken lighting design through our decor company, and Naveen was great to work with us for the DJ services only, and in fact he even made sure the lighting looked perfect on the day of the event, even though he did not personally provide it. I am glad we got vendors that work well together as a team. Naveen played wonderful music for the bride and groom, he played older songs for the parents, and newer songs for the young kids. We had fun dancing, Naveen also helped us with a slideshow presentation, that my family put together and narrated. We highly recommend Naveen Sharma in the future.

We met and hired DJ Naveen last year in November, for our August 12th 2017 wedding. My wife attended a wedding he DJ'd at in September and called him a few weeks later. From the start, Naveen was very professional, calm, courteous, and easy to work with. He made us feel part of his team and we were not just another couple but he really took the time to get to know us. We had a planning meeting 60 days before to finalize all the details. The day of the wedding, Naveen was up at 7am to prepare for the wedding and pre wedding baraat (grooms parade). The baraat was rocking with music, mc, and the drummer. Naveen played wonderful music that my wife's family wanted during the ceremony, and then he transformed the ballroom for the evening reception. He brought extra lights for us, which was very sweet, we had moving heads, up lights, dance lights, a custom monogram Naveen designed for us, along with a great sound system. Naveen played a few ethnic songs, then top 40 songs, the dance floor was packed the entire time! We had glow sticks which was a HUGE hit, I would recommend this to anyone, Naveen brought over 300 so we had enough for the entire crowd. We even paid extra for DJ Naveen to go until 1am - so we could keep the dance floor going! Thank you again Naveen!

Naveen was the DJ for my elder brother back in 2008. When we got engaged my dad reached out to him for our wedding last weekend. Naveen drove from Michigan all the way to Milwaukee Wisconsin to DJ our two day wedding. It was awesome, a great time, truly amazing, this is the best wedding DJ Naveen has ever done, our baraat was amazing, we had a horse, music, dhol player, at 1:15am on Saturday night, they had to kick us out of the venue, everything was going wild, sangeet was awesome, lighting was on point, Naveen provided us the soundtrack to an amazing wedding weekend. We had a dry wedding and still we went an extra hour on both nights and Naveen really motivated the crowd, he is an excellent MC as well, the sound system was on point, you could really feel the bass on the dance floor, the mixing and blending was on point, when hiring a DJ, you want someone who can mix the music, just playing one song after another is BORING, you might as well just hook up your ipod and hit shuttle, BUT... Naveen is a true artist, knowing what to play when, reading the crowd, playing for the older folks, and younger folks. We loved the strobe effect during our grand entrance, the up lights changed color all night during dancing, the lights were all battery powered so Naveen was able to put lights behind our sweet heart table, to light up our backdrop, and there were no ugly cords or wires that may have come in the pictures. As the parents of the bride, we hired DJ Naveen Sharma, for our daughters two day wedding in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Naveen drove up on Thursday, from Detroit, MI, checked in with me as he arrived at the Hyatt hotel, and we appreciated that he came an extra day early. We provided Naveen with a room and all meals, we got to know him for six months prior, and he became part of the family. Naveen was exceptional, you kept them rocking, in a DRY PARTY, you kept them rocking!!! They don't want to quit, they have had so much fun, and we thank you so much for all the effort you put in. You went one hour extra on Friday night at the Sangeet, and we had to drag everyone out, then at the reception you again went one hour extra until 1:15am in the morning. Despite having to drive back home Sunday, you stayed extra at the reception, and we appreciate that. The music was exceptional, the work you did was exceptional, the meetings, everything was orchestrated perfectly. Lighting was phenomenal. You did a phenomenal job, we were VERY happy. If we have another occasion, you will be the first person we call. Thank you. Thank you.

From the start, Naveen will the mobile baraat, Dhol player, into the Indian ceremony, American ceremony, the reception, EVERYTHING was perfect. Everything was stress free, amazing, every person at our wedding had a blast. The photo booth was fun also, we got many compliments on being able to email and text the pictures instantly! Matt and I wanted a smaller dance floor, we were worried it would be empty, BUT, the floor was PACKED, and all my friends said this was so much better then the weekend we had in Miami, we are in northeast Ohio, which is not cool at all, but Naveen made it feel like it was the best place to be. We hired Naveen Sharma for our son Adam's wedding to Christina, which was in Toledo, Ohio. Naveen provided us with DJ services, MC, up lighting, moving head lights, photo, and video. He worked with Capturing Arts, his photo and video partner, Kay and his sister were wonderful to work with also. This was a reception only, Naveen helped to plan and coordinate. It was a Sunday evening, but still Naveen motivated everyone and kept the dance floor rocking. The lights changed colors during the dancing which gave a nice feel. Naveen also provided two screens and two projectors. He made a slideshow of pictures that were displayed throughout the entire reception. The price was high but well worth it, you get what you pay for. We are excited to see the finished pictures and wedding video. Thank you Naveen!

We hired Naveen Sharma through our wedding planner, and we could not have been more happy. Naveen provided DJ, MC, Sound, Up Lighting, Dance Lighting, Dhol Player (drummer), and a Photo Booth! Naveen was very interactive on the microphone and involving the crowd, while his DJ played the music. We opted to pay extra to have a DJ and MC team - its well worth the extra $500 - so take my advise, its your wedding day, don't be cheap! Get the best DJ, best photo, best video, best planner, etc. We had very unique venue's on Friday and Saturday. Friday was a glass house, but Naveen still made it beautiful with white up lighting, Saturday at the Cathedral, a historic building, the beautiful candlelight up lighting, and the string lighting, were very elegant. The bride had very selective music requests and Naveen and his team made sure to play her songs, and not play from her no play list, and also read the crowd. 100% A+ for Naveen and his team. DJ Naveen definitely has his trade down to an art. Let me start by saying he DJ'd at the Baraat (grooms entrance), wedding ceremonies, and reception for my brother and sister in law two years ago. Naturally, I chose him for my own wedding. He is on time, fast to respond, and very professional. He will be honest about what does/does not work. He will seek input from other DJ's if you bring a new idea to his plate. When the adrenaline rush reaches a lull, he knows how to get the party hype again. Not to mention, aside from music and sound he provided: lighting, truss towers for water effect, served as the MC at our Friday night sangeet (pre-party music and dance night, as well as the reception). He amazed us by crafting a LOVE STORY, a perfect rendition of how me met and made it to the wedding day, right before our first dance. He listened to our music requests. And the glow sticks he provides get everyone excited, young and old!! Honestly, any future big events, and I'll be calling this guy.

Having a quality DJ can make or break a great reception. Having Naveen and the Platinum crew definitely was worthwhile for my wife and I. They set the standard for what a wedding dance should be and many of our friends and family have since used Naveen to handle their wedding receptions which all have been a success. Any one could just play music and call it a dance but Naveen and Ben mix up requested songs, traditional wedding dance music, and their always fun always crazy games to make the dance one that will be talked about for a lifetime.

The entire team at Platinum Event Group helped make our day. From the meetings with Naveen beforehand, to the reception and dance, it was great. The planning tool they use makes things super simple. With Naveen as our MC and DJ, the dance floor was always full. Our room lighting and monogram were perfect. Naveen did a great job at keeping all of our guests entertained and excited about what was to come. Everyone, especially our younger guests, loved the light up foam sticks. It's hard to pick a favorite moment but, I would have to say my favorite was when Naveen cleared everyone off the dance floor at the end of the night and we ended the night by dancing to our first dance, again. Platinum Event Group provided exceptional service to us for our wedding. Naveen has surrounded himself with a staff that shares the same values that he has in being professional, courteous, kind, and more importantly, trustworthy during the whole process. Among the many positive comments we received from our guests, there were two (2) that will stick in our minds forever. 1. A guest asked us if Naveen was one of our family members. Reason being, his personality and expertise in making not only the wedding party feel comfortable, but the wedding guest feel comfortable was felt throughout the reception venue. 2. The party never stopped! Many, many, many of our guests commented that from the moment the wedding party arrived, the party was non-stop until the end of the night. At no point was there an extended amount of down time in which there wasn't music, dancing, laughter, etc. In addition to the DJ services, we also selected the up-lighting to be a part of our wedding. As we look back on our decision today to have those things in our wedding, we know for certain that our experience wouldn't have been as meaningful and successful without those things. The ability of Platinum Event Group to make our venue look spectacular, while also providing a memory that will last a lifetime is something we will hold dear to our hearts forever. My husband and I hired Naveen and his team to DJ our fusion wedding, a two day wedding, May 26th and May 28th 2017. Naveen and my husband have been friends for a long time, so I fully trusted he would do a great job. Friday night was our ethnic night event, which was mother in law hosted, Naveen played wonderful Indian music, but also some "white" music songs for my family (ha ha). It was a great blend. Sunday night, our reception was at Packard Proving Grounds, it was the first time Naveen had DJ'd there, so a few weeks before, he met us at the venue for a site tour. He played wonderful music, and everyone danced! He is a great MC also, commanding the crowd, and also keeping the event flowing. Thank you again Naveen!

We hired DJ Naveen for our fusion wedding in May 27th 2017, in Midland Michigan. Naveen did my brothers wedding 9 years ago, so I am glad he was able to DJ our wedding. We added up lights a few weeks before, and he did a green and white theme, since we both went to MSU. Naveen also did a POWER HOUR, which was a huge hit and is still being talked about today. At 10pm, I asked Naveen to DJ and mix 60 songs in 60 minutes, he even recorded it, so we could enjoy it after the wedding. He mixed the 60 songs live and the crowd loved it. Naveen was very professional, he played Indian music, Polka music for my wife, top 40, dance, hip hop. It was a great evening! Thank you Naveen for making our wedding special

We hired DJ Naveen for our reception on May 20th at the Henry Hotel, we got married a few weeks before, and this was a reception for our local family and friends in Michigan. We hired DJ Naveen for our wedding at the Detroit Masonic Temple and we could not be happier. The night before my parents hosted a party for there friends and Naveen was the DJ. He rocked the party and set the tone and all the adults were very happy. On the wedding day Naveen played music during the grooms parade outside and provided a live drummer. He played music for the ceremony in the morning and the reception in the evening. The up lights were AMAZING!!! He transformed the ballroom at the Masonic Temple. He worked well with our wedding planner Rajul - I am glad the vendors worked well together. During dancing, Naveen played a mix of top 40, hop hop, dance, and some ethnic music. What can I say about Naveen Sharma and his team. From the moment my husband and I met him, he felt like a part of our family. We planned our wedding in April 2017, and we met Naveen in October 2016. We spoke on the phone for over one hour and it was a great connection. Naveen told us he would provide DJ services, a Emcee, Wedding Planning, Photo, and Video. We hired Naveen for the full production and we could not be happier. Naveen came to our hotel the night before the wedding to check on us and even brought food for me. At 5am on Friday (wedding day), I got a text from Naveen making sure my hair and makeup team had arrived. By 7:30am, Naveen and his photo / video team were in my room and my husbands rooms taking pictures and videos. Naveen coordinated a full photo session with our families before the wedding ceremony, and we even got some beautiful shots outside of the Hyatt hotel. We had the baraat outside because the hotel would not let us have music inside and Naveen still played wonderful music and my husband Rishi danced with all his family for 30 minutes! During the ceremony, Naveen helped to facilitate guests to go for lunch and to come back during certain parts of the ceremony. Our ceremony was two hours long so we served lunch to break the time up. Once the ceremony was done, Naveen and his team transformed the ballroom, while his photo and video team captured more pictures and videos of us changing into our reception outfits along with pics and video around the hotel. We had a first look in the room and OMG! the up lighting was perfect! The overall decor and theme Naveen provided was the exact vision we had spoke about. During dinner, Naveen brought every table up to our head table for a picture before he dismissed them to the dinner line. We were able to greet all 200 guests and have dinner, all in about one hour. Once the dance floor opened, Naveen rocked the party until 1AM in the morning! Naveen is more then a DJ, he does it all!!!!!

We hired Naveen Sharma for our December 3rd 3017 wedding and reception at the Detroit Opera House. It was the first time they hosted an Indian wedding (the venue) - so as the bride and groom - we were nervous. It was a fusion wedding, I am Caucasian and my husband is East Indian. We are an older couple, he is 50 and I am 49, so we had an older crowd, and Naveen assured us he would get the dance floor going. Naveen provided us with DJ, MC, Lighting, a photo booth, photo, and video. We had photo and video through Kay - Naveen's partners, we got the pictures after a few weeks and they are amazing! From music and DJ, Naveen did great, and he even worked with my husband and his family to make sure he had there ethnic requests. Naveen played 75% of the English music, top 40, dance, hip hop, and a few Ethnic songs. Most of the parents had left after dinner, so we had a super fun party until the venue kicked us out! I got all the video footage from Naveen about six weeks after the event, and we loved how his team captured our vision. As the mother of the groom, we hired Naveen Sharma for our son's reception in Indianapolis, Indiana @ the JW Marriott Downtown. We first found Naveen Sharma online, via youtube, he had some great videos of his performance. After our initial consultation we discovered Naveen was more then just a DJ. He took care of the wedding planning, the DJ, MC, Lighting, Photo, and Video. He also arranged a dance team to perform at the reception. Majority of our guests were from out of town and Naveen and his team played all typed of music to entertain the crowd. We loved the photographer (Jessica). and we can't wait to see the pictures! Naveen transformed the ballroom into a beautiful display of candle light and once dancing started the lights changed color to set the mood. We will be using Naveen again in the future for all our weddings and events

We were planning our wedding from out of state and Naveen was very responsive to our emails and phone calls. We met Naveen and DJ Ben at our wedding reception site to meet with the wedding coordinator, which made us all on the same page. Naveen and DJ Ben both went over the wedding reception introductions and song lists with us. We wanted to have an awesome party and have everyone on the dance floor, which DJ Ben absolutely fulfilled our request! DJ Ben actually worked with my sister to do a surprise song for her matron of honor speech! The playlist DJ Ben rocked kept our guests on the dance floor all night. DJ Naveen is a talented MC, DJ, lighting specialist, and a true professional who helped this busy bride plan the details of a mega, event-packed, week-long wedding, and did everything in short order! Because of that, the groom and I saw Naveen a key, wedding planning role rather than simply as our DJ. Naveen spent considerable time thinking of new ideas for us, and was even kind enough to surprise us at the last event (our reception) with some pretty cool effects! We hired Naveen and Dave to work our wedding at the Detroit Masonic Temple for their DJ, MC, Uplighting, Monogram and Photobooth services. We had some specific visions (Phantom of the opera/Masquerade theme) for our wedding and they accommodated all of them. They were professional and kept everything on track for the entirety of the reception. It couldn't have gone any smoother than it did. The uplighting was phenomenal, the DJ and music were awesome, MC was on point and the Photobooth was fantastic. All our guests were amazed and said it was the wedding of the century. We hired DJ Naveen and his team for our mixed Indian and Persian Wedding in Novi, Michigan. Naveen met with us several times to make sure he fully understood the Persian culture and music. Naveen of course was an expert with weddings and all other types of music. We started the day with the outdoor parade, everyone danced to Naveen's music while I sat on the horse. We also had a live drummer. Then Naveen played music and provided audio for BOTH ceremonies, we had the Indian ceremony and the Persian ceremony. Once the reception began Naveen transformed the room with his lighting design, and we had an awesome sound system, lighting show, and two screens with projectors. Naveen ran the slideshow and during open dancing played music videos! Our event was at the Suburban Collection Show Place, the Diamond center, we had about 450 guests. Naveen was well worth it and we even rewarded him with a nice thank you tip at the end of the evening!

We hired Naveen Sharma and his team for our massive three day Indian Wedding. We had the first function Thursday Night and Naveen provided a sound system and lighting for the live band. Naveen also went out of his way to provide an extra setup at no charge for the dinner room so guests eating dinner could enjoy some background music. On Friday Naveen woke up early and provided sound for some morning ceremonies (he did not have to), then provided sound for lunch and continued to setup for the massive pre-event Friday night. The room was huge and Naveen shocked up with amazing lighting - in a rainbow theme - different colors all around the room. The sound system and his microphones were awesome and the live band raved about his setup. Naveen took care of all the sound and lighting for our live band. Saturday was the main day for Naveen and his team to shine. We started in the morning with the baraat which went for one hour and everyone from the groom's party danced and we had live music and a dhol player. During the wedding ceremony Naveen played appropriate music that my parents enjoyed and even played music while the guests ate lunch. The reception was the icing on the cake. The sound system, up lighting, dance lights, and overall room setup was mind blowing. We had over 500 guests and a huge room. Over 65 up lights in a beautiful pink color to accent the room. Naveen and his partner DJ'd and MC'd the evening, we had the live dhol player during the open dancing, and Naveen had a lighting person controlling the lights. We spent close to $8,000 for Naveen and his team during the three days and it was well worth it! We also hired a wedding planner and Naveen was in constant communication with them during and before the wedding. I am so glad we hired Naveen and his team, we would recommend them to anyone, and they do travel all over the country!

DJ Naveen was one of the first vendors we booked for our Hindu-Christian fusion wedding. I had followed his youtube channel and saw the high quality of his uplighting/MC work. He keeps great documentation of his work & what you see is exactly what you get. To us, a DJ, uplighting, and Master of Ceremonies were 3 of the 5 most important things for a wedding (The other 2 being food and bar ). DJ Naveen took care of all 3 of those things with perfection and professionalism. He took time to get to know us over dinner months before the wedding, and again for making our timeline a few weeks before, and also kept in constant contact with recommendations and advice throughout the planning process. We used his services for our Baraat, Hindu wedding music, mehndi DJ, and reception DJ/MC/Uplighting, we also took his recommendations for dholi, horse (baraat), videography, and event coordination. We were pleased with those vendors as well. He did special things such as: including a surprise mini confetti cannon at our reception (the venue would not allow large ones), he found a bollywood version of lady Gaga “born this way” which required going through many online versions to find one of good quality to use for our entrance, and he also got the dholi to return to the venue several hours after the baraat for our grand entrance. He worked with our family to play a medley for a dance performance, and also agreed to DJ/MC our mehndi last minute at a fair price when we decided to add DJ. Overall, his attention to detail and expertise were 100%. The uplighting was beautiful, with color options and combinations. He had a music catalog for both cultures and knew the name pronunciations for everyone. We wanted very specific songs for Hindu ceremony, reception entrances, and certain dances; everything was done exactly as asked. He made ZERO mistakes. He takes his job very seriously and made what we wanted a reality. We strongly recommend him for all DJ/MC, and uplighting needs.

DJ Naveen Sharma was a great DJ! We had an Indian wedding and the wedding consisted from young teenagers to adults in their 70's and 80's. He entertained them all! For sangeet we had a garba round, dandiya round, dance floor with the typical bollywood music, punjabi music and english pop songs near the end of the night. The selection of music for every single category was really spectacular! I also had lighting, projector screen and photo booth services by DJ Naveen Productions and Event Lighting. The lighting really added the mood and ambience I wanted for my wedding and sangeet. The photo booth was a hit and there was a wide selection of props. We were also provided digital copies from the photobooth which not a lot of vendors offered. The projector screen was a very last minute call on my part. Only 3 days before the wedding because the screen I was initially going to get did not work out. DJ Naveen Productions and Event Lighting were able to provide me with last minute changes and they really came through! Wedding planning is so exhausting. I was overwhelmed with all the wedding planning so I just told DJ Naveen he could play any song for all my entrances. In other words, I hadn't picked a song for my entrance for wedding and sangeet. And I do not regret it at all! I'm glad I depended on DJ Naveen, his song selection was great! All our entrances for the wedding and sangeet were hit!!! People even came up to me after the wedding and asked me what song did my niece entered to. I highly recommend DJ Naveen and his company DJ Naveen Productions and Event Lighting! They are also very flexible to last minute changes needed and every bride as much as she'd hate to admit it, knows that there might be some minor things that don't go according to plan. But as long as you have good vendors such as DJ Naveen Productions and Event Lighting, then you will have nothing to worry and actually enjoy the day and celebrate you!

We hired Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ for our August 15th outdoor wedding in Plymouth, Michigan. Unfortunately it was extremely hot that day, but the music was awesome and everyone was dancing. We had a small wedding around 4 PM, followed by cocktails, dinner, and then dancing. They provided us sound for all the events. The MC (Shawn) did all our family introductions and the DJ (Naveen) mixed wonderful music. It was not to loud and all the guests enjoyed and thank you again to Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ

We hired Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ for our two day wedding for my daughter and son in law. The kids were busy with school and work so I took charge of the wedding vendors. I first met Naveen about nine months before the wedding we we spoke in detail about all the events and what my needs were. We hosted the wedding at the Novi Sheraton Hotel in Detroit Michigan area. Naveen always communicated well via phone and email. I live in Maryland so whenever I came to Michigan for wedding planning Naveen always took time to meet with me. We had a meeting with the bride, her sister, her mother, and myself and we invited all the vendors and Naveen came early to view the space with us and meet the bride. He made sure to discuss song selections with her and make my daughter feel comfortable. On Friday night we had the garba night and the sound system was amazing and the up lighting was great, Naveen picked colors that my daughter liked and matched the theme. Naveen even used some battery lights for the center area to light up the statue on the dance floor! On Saturday, Naveen provided us with the music van outside and the drummer for the Indian baraat, and during the wedding ceremony Naveen provided music, microphones, screens, projectors, and live video feed for the crowd. During the break after the ceremony, Naveen and his team transformed the ballroom and my daughter was so happy. We had screens, projectors, videos, glow sticks, amazing sound, and lighting. Naveen worked with my nephew who was the MC, and the microphone quality was amazing! During dinner I introduced Naveen to four of my friends, all whose daughters are getting married, so they could book him as soon as possible. As I write this review, I know three of the four friends have booked Naveen for there weddings. We could not have been more pleased with Naveen and his team at Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ

Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding MC, DJ, and Lighting Design We had a three day wedding and they took care of the entertainment for all three days. Platinum Event Group even provided us live musicians during the wedding ceremony! From the first contact we made to the end of our wedding they were professional and great to work with. David was great about communicating with us, he sent us all of the paperwork we needed to fill out to make our big day as special as it was. He inquired about how you wanted to wedding to be and the atmosphere you wanted to have, but also what you did not want to have which is just as important. David went over every detail from who was in your wedding, to all of the song choices, to who would be giving speeches, the schedule of events throughout the evening, who your other vendors were, and everything else in between. We ended up going until 2AM for the reception - until the hotel staff kicked us out - we went two hours into overtime and my friends still wanted to dance. David even brought a small speaker to the after party and played music and hung out with our friends! Platinum Event Group did a phenomenal job with our wedding and we would highly recommend them to any soon to be bride and groom for a fun, well planned, organized, and entertaining wedding!

We had a small intimate reception in Ohio and we hired Naveen Sharma and his team. Naveen, Shawn, and Ben all came for our reception. Ben took care of the music, Naveen was our MC, and Shawn provided us BEAUTIFUL lighting in the room. During open dancing the lights changed color and really wowed the crowd. The room was very small and Naveen was still able to setup near the dance floor and he worked with very little space. When we booked Naveen, he informed us of a large wedding on Saturday (next day), and he still came and made sure our small intimate celebration was special. We got done at 11:30pm and Naveen and his team packed up and drove all night to Indianapolis for there Saturday wedding. I think that shows dedication and passion for weddings. Ben mixed wonderful music, for the elder crowd and the young kids. Naveen spoke to our event manager in advance and made sure everything was set and he even sent over his insurance papers and company information to our venue. Thanks again!

Naveen Sharma and his team with Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ were fantastic! Having a friend who is in the wedding industry, we had an idea of how important a good DJ and MC would be for our wedding day. Knowing cost is always a factor, Naveen worked with us and provided exceptional service and creativity for wedding experience. Naveen was also extremely helpful and creative in the whole planning and preparation for the event, and with all the exceptional planning and working with the on-site staff the event went off as planned. This was nice feeling with all the extra things to worry about on our wedding day. I would like to say, without Naveen I'm not sure our wedding day would've been as memorable as it was. We've had incredible feedback from our guests on what an amazing wedding it was, and I give that credit to Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ for making this day the best day. Out of all the money spent for a wedding, this was the BEST money we spent in can't think Naveen enough. We had amazing sound, up lighting, dance lighting, glow sticks, and more!

My fiance and I hired Platinum Event Group for our reception in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We hosted it at the Radisson Plaza hotel. Naveen provided us with DJ services and MC services for the evening reception. We found Naveen online and worked with him over the phone and over Skype to plan and execute our reception. We live in California and Naveen was accommodating with our time differences. When we arrived to the venue, Naveen greeted us and introduced himself, he offered to bring us drinks and snacks and made sure everything was running on time. He got the doors open and asked the guests to enjoy the appetizers. After the introductions, we had some speeches and games, which Naveen was the MC for and he also helped us with the wedding video slideshow. Once dinner was done we went into dancing and the sound system and microphone and lighting was really nice. We are happy to recommend Naveen and his company in the future and you will be happy when you hire them.

Naveen and his team did an amazing job with our wedding. They helped us talk through and plan all the songs that we wanted to start and ones we wanted to hear after the wedding party songs. They really went above and beyond any standard level and made the night just amazing. I was nervous at first hiring Naveen because he specialized in Indian weddings, but he came highly recommended from a friend, and man he rocked the wedding. I think having a background with Indian weddings makes him stronger in the wedding market. He told me some of his weddings had 600-700 people, and we only had 100 guests, and everyone had a great time. The equipment he brought sounded and looked awesome along with the lighting show. He is used to larger events so even for our smaller wedding he still brought out gear sound and light show. Speaking on the mic as the MC, sounded awesome, Naveen can really command the crowd! We told him what music we liked and he played a fantastic mix of old and new which made it fun for everyone. I would recommend them as a DJ for anyone and I know you would have an incredible night. It was an awesome party! Thanks Naveen for making our day so memorable and fun! Naveen also provided us a photo booth and his assistant David was great running the photo booth and getting everyone involved with tons of props! At the end of the event Naveen gave us a USB stick with the pictures - and we got to look at them on our honeymoon!

Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ, made sure everything we asked for was perfect! I could not have had a better lighting, DJ, or sound system! We had some last minute changes that the DJ didn’t know until we showed up at the reception. We quickly told him what the changes needed to be and he made sure everything was the way we wanted it. The DJ’s choice of music was so great we needed a bigger dance floor. It was packed from the time things started until everything was over. The music selection kept all ages of people till the end of the night. Platinum Event Group - Michigan Wedding DJ, truly picked the right name for their business. The best part about Naveen Sharma and his team is that they are VERY flexible, they accommodated to us very well. We could not have been happier to have chosen Naveen Sharma as our wedding DJ! We live out of town so it was a challenge for us was finding the time to meet with vendors but Naveen was so flexible and accommodating, meeting with us on evenings and weekends and times that worked with our schedule. We had quite a mix of crowds at our wedding but Naveen and his team flowed effortlessly from traditional wedding music, top 40, and everything in between. Our guests had such a blast and could not stop talking about what a great dance party it was until the wee hours of the morning! Nobody wanted to stop dancing and we actually got kicked out of the hall at the end of the night!!! Their set-up was also very elegant and really fit into our theme. Naveen is seriously an absolute pleasure to work with in every respect. There is no comparing the personal service you get, the flexibility, the fun and of course the price!

We hired Naveen Sharma and his team to provide DJ services, MC, Video, and Photo for our wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Naveen and his team were happy to travel from Detroit and very easy to work with. His video partner AJ was nice to work with and we got some wonderful pictures and video highlights weeks after the wedding. Naveen always answered his phone and responded to emails when needed and we have some video chat planning sessions. When we were planning our wedding, we were most nervous/stressed out about finding a DJ. My husband and I really wanted our guests to have a great time and dance their faces off, and we are so happy that Naveen was our DJ! Naveen was so great, always following up with an email or phone call. We also met with him before the wedding to go over all of the details of the ceremony. He was so warm, so friendly, we automatically felt comfortable with him, like he was a friend. He helped my husband find the perfect song to dance with his mother to, and walked us through every step of the evening. He always asked us our opinion and truly made it a special night for us. I know it can be stressful planning a wedding and deciding on a budget and your priorities. I am so glad that we decided to work with Naveen. I truly feel it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. I danced so hard my feet were aching in the morning. He made everyone feel comfortable, everyone had a blast. Prior to booking Platinum Event Group, we heard from many people how great their services were. When first meeting with Naveen, we expressed to him that we wanted to make our reception unique and do things a little bit different. I am Indian Christian and my fiance Billy is Western American, so it was a fusion wedding. Naveen came up with many new ideas and was on board with all of our thoughts. Knowing that he was considerate of our ideas was very important to us because we knew that Naveen would be controlling the flow of the entire night. Each time that we met with Naveen, he made things so easy and always reassured us that things were going to turn out amazing. As we continued to meet to discuss the details of the wedding, Naveen was just as excited about our wedding day as we were! This was a great feeling because this showed us he truly did care about our day and us. The day itself was absolutely wonderful. Not only did he have my guests out dancing the entire night, but he also transformed an average reception hall into a grand venue! He made it a point to come and check in on my husband and I throughout the night to let us know what would be happening next and to make sure we were enjoying our night. I knew we made the right choice booking Naveen when our guests raved about how beautiful the night was! We not only had an unforgettable wedding day because of all of his hard work, but we also built a friendship. We will never forget this experience. I know when my sisters get married in the coming years, there first choice will be Naveen!

He includes all the special touches you want and none that you don't. You hardly know Naveen is there because he let's the music do the talking! I would recommend Naveen to anyone! They are fantastic and I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Best wedding dance I've ever been too!

Naveen and I grew up together - our parents are long time friends - so it made sense for me to hire Naveen to DJ my wedding and I trusted him. We had our wedding at the Novi Hilton hotel - the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. I had a fusion wedding so Naveen understood all the cultural differences. Naveen provided a wonderful sound system and microphones for the wedding ceremony and played background music as well. During the wedding ceremony the fire alarm went off and Naveen helped to evacuate the room - it was a false alarm, a hotel glitch, but a good luck charm! In the evening Naveen was our DJ and MC for the reception. Naveen played great music - both ethnic and top 40. Of course his sister and entire family and parents were at the wedding and reception but Naveen was very professional making sure he was there to work the wedding and rock the party!

My brother and DJ Naveen had been friends in college so when I got engaged my brother suggested I hire Naveen to DJ the wedding. We had our wedding in Ann Arbor Michigan at a hotel near the mall. We had about 150 guests - so a smaller wedding. Naveen was very professional and friendly. Naveen provided us DJ services, and MC services. He was great on the microphone and motivated everyone to dance. Naveen played music for the parents as well as us kids. We highly recommend Naveen Sharma

Our experience with Naveen Sharma was over the top AMAZING!!! From the minute we got engaged we knew that we had to call and book Naveen right away! Naveen and his team were always open and willing to answer any questions that we had! When it came to our final meeting we finalized everything that we wanted from music at dinner, lighting, to special requests we had for the night! When we arrived at university Naveen was at the front door greeting us with a bright smile and greeted us as a newly married couple. The guests were enjoying cocktail hour and we did not want to be seen so Naveen showed up pictures of the lighting design in the room and it was simply breathtaking! Once inside I was awed at how amazing and perfect the lighting looked all over the room. Naveen informed all of our guests what was coming up and got ALL of our guests involved in the action of the reception! Throughout the dance he played songs that suited all age groups and every guests tastes! He did an amazing job at keeping the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT LONG!! The glow sticks we had Naveen provide were awesome AND we loved all the 70s music. We are big 70s music lovers, especially my brother and we even had a soul train line! We will recommend Naveen to EVERYONE we know who needs a DJ for a wedding all over the country! Our wedding was out of town and Naveen came in the day before to assure everything would be smooth and even met my brother at the venue to tour the site. Naveen and his team joined us for dinner the night before and even drinks downtown after the wedding - we were so happy we hired Naveen Sharma!

We hired DJ Naveen for our mixed fusion wedding - my husband is middle eastern and I am white american so we needed a mix of music. We found Naveen on wedding wire and he had great reviews which was the reason I hired him. After we spoke to Naveen he assured us he would have the middle eastern ethnic music that my husbands family desired. He spoke to my husband and researched the music and the country he is from to get the best songs. Then Naveen brought another DJ with him to our event who specialized in the middle eastern music that my husbands family wanted - that was really great of Naveen. We had 50% English music and 50% Arabic music. Naveen also worked with the live Arabic band to coordinate there performance. Naveen does more then just play music - he helped coordinate the wedding and reception and put together a timeline for us. Naveen had never worked at our venue before, The Colony Club, in Detroit Michigan so he made sure to speak with the management to talk about his setup and room details. The best thing Naveen did that evening was save us with his photo booth. We knew Naveen had a photo booth BUT when we booked Naveen it was for DJ and MC services only. We found a photo booth on groupon for $350 and we booked it. During dinner Naveen came up to us to ask how the evening was going and I was upset because our photo booth did not show up and I told Naveen what happened. 5 minutes later Naveen called his partner and had him at the venue at 8:50pm with his photo booth. They were setup and ready by 9:20pm and we had the booth for two hours with tons of props and compliments from the guests. Naveen SAVED the day with his photo booth and thanks to his team also. At the end of the evening we got all the prints and pictures on digital format. You get what you pay for and Naveen is worth every dollar!

We found DJ Naveen through some friends and checked out his website and online review sites. Naveen worked with our needs and budget and he was very friendly during the planning process. My fiance lived out of the country and I traveled a lot so Naveen took care of the music and other wedding details. He also suggested some great vendors for us to work with. The wedding was Sunday night and we had about 200 people. It was a dry wedding and I was worried about how many people would dance but Naveen played awesome music. He got everyone on the floor and hyped up the crowd a few times. During dinner he made sure my husband and I ate dinner and that we were not disturbed by guests who wanted to keep taking pictures. He helped create a timeline that made the evening flow smoothly. During open dancing Naveen played a mix of ethnic music, African music, and top 40 dance songs. Naveen was slightly more costly then we planned for BUT well worth the price. You do get what you pay for! We even sent Naveen a thank you card and a tip after the wedding. We hired David and Platinum Event Group for our wedding at the Roostertail in Detroit, Michigan. My wife and I are an older couple - in our 60's so we wanted a DJ that could handle our crowd. We were referred to David and we loved his personality and his style. David provided us with DJ services and a photo booth. The guests loved the photo booth and his attendant was very nice and professional. We had an older crowd and David played many 50's and 60's hits. He had nice lighting as well. We will continue to recommend David and Platinum Event Group in the future

We hired Naveen Sharma for our wedding reception in Columbus Ohio at the Hilton hotel in Easton. Naveen and his team were very professional and easy to work with. Both my fiance and I are in school and had limited time to plan the wedding details so Naveen took charge and everything was great. The lighting in the hall was simply amazing. We had reds, ambers, purples, and more! I loved how Naveen could change the colors during the evening. Naveen also provided TVs for our slideshow, up lighting around the room, and of course music and emcee skills. We got a ton of compliments about Naveen and his team and we plan to recommend them all over town and also suggest the Hilton to work with Naveen and his team again soon. As I sit down to write this review, words cannot express how truly amazing our wedding reception celebration with Naveen was!! Naveen was hands on from the get-go and always had our best interests in mind. Naveen met with us several times to discuss plans and was very responsive to outside questions and concerns we had. On our wedding day, my groom and I had no stress or worries about the reception because we knew Naveen would take care of everything. Along with being the DJ, Naveen provided the monogram, up-lighting, wedding, reception, mobile baraat, and more for our reception. Each of these things transformed our space and made it unique to us. The reception was organized from beginning to end and there was no down time, so guests did not become bored or lose interest. Dinner service was lively and Naveen interacted with both us and our guests. Throughout dinner, guests would as us if we hired an emcee. We would tell them, "No, this is our DJ..." and they couldn't believe it! The dance was high-energy, and Naveen played a mix of music that my groom and I enjoyed as well as music our guests enjoyed. He also threw in glow sticks to help our guests turn up the energy! Because of the constant interaction, guests stayed much later than we thought they would. My 83 year-old grandmother stayed until the last song, and that NEVER happens. EVER. The best thing we enjoyed about working with Naveen was that he made me and my groom feel important and that we weren't just another wedding couple. As a bride, I felt like the beautiful, important woman I always dreamed of feeling like on my wedding day. As you look to book Platinum Event Group you may think the cost is high; however, as the saying goes, you really do get what you pay for. My groom and I had the wedding celebration we always dreamed of, and we owe that to Naveen! THANK YOU!

I found Naveen on youtube from a video he posted about doing lighting and DJ services for a wedding at the Detroit Masonic Temple. (which was our venue) I fell in love with how he lit up the Masonic and decided to call him. The Crystal Ballroom is a large room and I wanted someone with experience who did uplighting there before. My husband and I ended up booking him for DJ/MC, uplighting, videography, and photo booth. Just on the lighting alone, he is worth the money. Our venue looked GORGEOUS. I wanted blue and purple lighting and that is exactly what he did. He even added extra little details here and there that blew my guests away. I got so many compliments that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and I think the lighting had ALOT to do with that. I have never seen a photobooth with so many props. Instead of having them in a bin to sort through, his team had them all layed out on tables so it was easier for everyone to pick props. The photobooth had a lighted red runway carpet and was a lot bigger than any other photobooth I have been in at a wedding. It was a huge hit. There was guests taking pictures in it all night long. Naveen was always available when I had a question about something. He kept the party going. There was always people on the dance floor. He even passed out light up glow sticks that were a huge hit with everyone. Even the older guests! I am so excited to see what our video is going to look like. His team showed up on time and was patient with me when we were running behind all day. Naveen and his team are the way to go if you want to have a fun wedding!

I heard about Platinum Event Group through my cousins. They had attended a wedding of a friend where they were the DJ. My crowd aren't really the dancing type but they told me they danced all night because the DJ was so good. That fact alone wanted me to hire these guys.

Naveen and Shawn provided everything they said they would and more than what we expected. I had more people than I can count tell me how much fun our DJ was and how much fun they had at our reception. We danced all night and that surprised me. We were having so much fun we didn't realize the time at all. This was a party we will never forget.

COMPLETELY WORTH IT. They provided everything they said they would and then went beyond all expectations. I would recommend these guys for any party, wedding, birthday, reunions, etc. I wish I could find an excuse to have another reception just so we can party with these guys again.

They provided DJ, MC, beautiful lighting, monogram, shoe game, photo, video, event planning, and even the glow sticks which my father loved!!!

WOW is what I have to say about Platinum Event Group. Naveen was our DJ and to say he was phenomenal is an absolute understatement! I had known when booking him that he was the best, but I couldn't have imagined just how perfect our day would be with Naveen. From the planning process through the wedding day, Naveen was there every step of the way. He paid close attention to details and listened to what we wanted. He also made suggestions about how to take things to the next level and he was spot on with every single piece of advice. In the days leading up to the wedding, he stayed in touch with us and spent hours setting up our reception room. It was STUNNING. I was speechless when I saw how beautiful the room looked with the up lighting. It gave it the extra shine it needed to be absolutely breath-taking. I couldn't have pictured it to look that great even in my dreams. When it came time for our reception, everything went perfectly. Naveen was so fun to have around and made things extra special for everyone. He kept the reception flowing smoothly and kept our guests entertained all night long. He even checked up on Sunny and I to make sure we were comfortable throughout the night. We had already gotten our money’s worth and then some before the dance even started! Our dance was a blast and a half! It was packed from start to finish and I know our guests would have stayed all night long if they could have. I have never seen so many people still present at the end of a wedding before. I have had countless guests tell me that ours was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, and that is all thanks to Naveen and Platinum Event Group. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day! Where do I start? Platinum event group is hands down the way to go! Naveen Sharma is an amazing DJ and MC. He kept our wedding fresh and traditional by putting new ideas on old tired traditions! He was super helpful and did everything we asked of him! Naveen was super easy to contact, and quickly responded- even if I got lost in the madness and forgot to get back to him! Our attendants didn't get lost in the shuffle using his "grand entrance" idea, and we got to make sure the crowd got to know them too! He kept everyone moving and grooving! Our ladies really enjoyed the "hot bouquet" instead of the traditional toss! They all laughed and laughed the whole way through!! These guys are worth the price! Best wedding DJ!

We hired Platinum Event Group for our two day mega wedding on April 10th and April 11th 2015. All the events were hosted at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis Indiana. Naveen Sharma and his team were phenomenal! We spent close to $11,000 with Naveen Sharma on a variety of services. Naveen skyped with us several times making sure EVERY detail was set. He drove up on Thursday and had the room setup Friday and it looked amazing. On Friday Naveen and his team provided up lighting, screens, projectors, dance lighting, monogram, a huge sound system (we had over 500 guests), and a DJ/MC, The pre event was great and everyone had a good time, Naveen was a great MC helping to run the program. On Saturday April 11th we had our mobile baraat (parade) outdoors and Naveen arranged the horse, the drummer, and he provided a mobile sound system. All the grooms friends and family danced - it was so fun! Once that was complete we had the wedding ceremony and Naveen surprised us with beautiful green up lighting to match the mandap (Indian Wedding Stage). After the ceremony we had lunch and a few hours later the ballroom was transformed. People are still raving about how the room looked. We had moving lights all around the room - looked like the Oscars. Two screens and two projectors along with a live video feed for all the guests. It was a huge room and with over 700 guests Naveen had a proper sound system to handle the room. He showed us speakers all around the room to help with speeches and full room coverage and the bass on the dance floor was amazing. During open dancing we had confetti and glow sticks. Naveen was a great MC while his partner mixed up top 40 music and dance and bollywood music behind the booth. We even had videos playing during open dancing - which guests loved. Naveen wanted to make sure everyone had a good time even if they were not dancing. We also had TWO photo booths in the hallway. 7 stars all around for Naveen and his team!

Platinum Event Group is a highly professional, friendly, and entertaining group. We contacted Naveen Sharma after seeing and being impressed by his YouTube videos. We wanted a DJ and MC who could provide lighting, sound, props and keep the party going. Also, we wanted a DJ who can seamlessly go from English to Indian music and back. From the initial inquiry Naveen Sharma was extremely professional. He wanted to meet in person to discuss all the packages they offer. We took the Platinum package which was reasonably priced. Naveen met with us before the wedding to go over reception timeline and our music preference. He took the time to learn to pronounce our parents and bridal party's names. We walked into our reception and was amazed by how good everything looked. Starting with the lighting, he had the whole room glowing in purple and amber, which was just the right amount of color. It didn't look too purple washed and went well with our decor and flowers. Naveen made a custom monogram for us, which all our guests loved. They played all our music on cue and had regular soft Indian music during dinner. For our event Naveen was the MC and Sohbash was the DJ to mix. Naveen also set up and hosted the newly wed game, which the crowd loved.
Once the dance floor opened up, Naveen and Sohbash kept the energy up all night. Sohbash kept transitioning from English to Indian and back effortlessly. The lights were all in tune with the music. The speakers and sound quality were very high. The crowd went wild when Naveen started passing out the glow sticks and our reception looked great. We highly recommend Platinum Event Group to all couples looking for a wedding DJ. Our guests loved them.

Naveen was recommended to me by a widely known DJ in the Indy area who knew I was interested in someone who was comfortable playing to a mixed Indian and American crowd. Keaton and I are so happy we chose Naveen and his team. Naveen was easy to work with giving suggestions along the way. He helped get the crowd excited for the Baraat. Keaton raved about how much fun that was too. At the reception, the dance floor stayed packed the entire night despite it being a really long day. All of our guests and the two of us had a great time!

Naveen Sharma and his team were AWESOME! We hired Platinum Event Group for our wedding and reception at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, Michigan. I am not from the Detroit area so I did not know anyone and I chose my vendors based solely on reviews and was pretty nervous about it. But even from the first phone call Naveen put me at ease. He was very resourceful. Not only did he provide us with the insanely talented DJ Sohbash, Naveen also arranged for our wedding priest AND after I told him our friends at Ashoka were providing the dinner - he insisted I add noodles to the dinner menu and the guests loved them!!! Naveen and him team were very flexible and easy to work with. Sohbash did an excellent job mixing Indian and Top 40 music while Naveen hyped up the crowd on the microphone and passed out awesome glow stick party props! The glow sticks were such a huge hit - Naveen even got my brother and his wife to dance which is a HUGE accomplishment! We are so happy with Naveen Sharma and his entire team at Platinum Event Group. We would highly recommend Naveen Sharma for all wedding services!
