  Great catering for Rehearsal Dinner or Wedding

  We had Plate Perfect provide wonderful midwood smokehouse bbq for our rehearsal dinner at Griffith Hall at Lenny Boy. The team was super responsive and easy to work with forming a menu and the right setup. Everything was delicious and the process was amazing start to finish

  Delicious!

  My husband and I used Plate Perfect Catering for our wedding and we have zero regrets. They came recommended by our wedding venue as they were on their vendor list and we are so glad to have found them.
  We were hoping to find a perfect match for a menu that gave our guests a taste of Carolina and working with Plate Perfect let us achieve our goal and more.
  Working with Taryn and her team was everything we could have wanted and more. They were flexible, responsive, helpful and more. They worked with us and the dietary needs and allergies of our guests and were prepared for anything that came our way.
  Our guests raved about everything on the menu and said it was some of the best food they enjoyed at a wedding.
  The staff were super accommodating to my husband and I and had snacks right after the ceremony for our parties and us and had plates ready for us during the reception so we did not have to go running around.
  If you are stumped in trying to find a wedding caterer in the Charlotte area, look no further!

  Best Wedding Food I Have Ever Had

  Plate Perfect catered our October wedding, and they are absolutely phenomenal. I had several guests tell us it’s the best Italian Food they have ever had at any wedding!
  
  Beth was amazing to deal with. Our tasting was out of this world, and the service was impeccable. They book up early, so if they are open for your date, book them ASAP!!!

  Delicious and great service!

  We worked with Johanna at Plate Perfect Catering for our wedding reception. Johanna not only helped us craft our menu but also handled our rentals for our venue. She was so easy to work with. The staff was fantastic. We had Midwood Smokehouse and the food was so delicious. The BBQ was some of the best I've ever had and our guests are still talking about how good it was. The presentation was great! I highly recommend them.

  Delicious food and wonderful staff!

  So impressed with the quality of the food as well as the appetizers!! The staff was so attentive and helped us get food despite the business of the day! The appetizers were brought to us after the ceremony so we didn’t have to miss out. Everything was delicious!!

  We used Plate perfect for catering our midwood smokehouse menu for our rehearsal dinner at Sugar Creek Brewing Company. They were great! They helped me with quantities of each item for a large group (50 people) and also helped me to understand what on the menu our gluten free guests could eat. They showed up on time, were friendly, and did a great job cleaning everything up. They also took care of the china plate, flatware, and tablecloth rentals for me as well. Would use them again for any event!

  Plate Perfect was on the list of required vendors for the venue I selected. When I spoke with the operations manager, Beth Moore, I thought it was too good to be true! I'm all for great food and this is the vendor to go with! They contract with four local restaurants in the Charlotte, NC area. Phenomenal bbq, burger, Italian, and Mexican restaurants to choose from. We could mix and match different food items from the four restaurants. I am so happy that we are getting food from restaurants I've eaten at before. I dislike bland, plated food. With my selections, my food with be flavorful and people will be going back for seconds and thirds! Beth has been an absolute joy to work with, and email/phone correspondence has been superb.

  The food was amazing. We chose to have 4 different stations; pasta, taco, sliders, and mediterranean. All were delicious. Could not have been more pleased with the quality and service.

  We used Plate Perfect for our wedding because we wanted to serve food from Midwood Smokehouse and Mama Ricotta's, and not go with the standard catered wedding food. They handle all catering for these restaurants. Multiple people said "This is the best wedding food I've ever had!"

  From the first contact I received from Beth with Plate Perfect Catering, I was immediately impressed with her efficiency and helpfulness. She was willing to work with me even when I told her about the tight budget that we had to work with (for a large amount of people!).
  
  I was overseas for the first several months of our communication, but we were able to nail out many of the details by email before I even returned home to the States.
  
  After returning home, I continued to be more and more impressed with Beth's helpfulness and attentiveness to details (often details that I wouldn't have had the prior experience to know to look for). Even though the final menu was slightly more than we had originally hoped to spend, it was a well-rounded menu that our guests thoroughly enjoyed (and I was willing to stretch our budget in that area for the quality of service that I knew we'd be getting).
  
  Beth went out of her way to take care of details that often weren't required of her, and she definitely made my life easier as the hecticness of planning increased.
  
  The final result was wonderful. We met a couple days before the wedding at the reception site to nail out all the details, and everything looked and tasted WONDERFUL. The service was very efficient and friendly on the day of the wedding. I hardly knew they were there, but they were working hard the entire time.
  
  I can't say enough praise for Beth Moore and Plate Perfect Catering. I'm so thankful to have stumbled across this gem in my search for a catering company that would provide quality service, food, and attainable prices. Plate Perfect did all this and more!

The staff was amazing to work with (Taryn George is awesome) and really catered to the special needs of some of our guests. The food was hot, and served perfectly. We did stations throughout the room which really helped to reduced long lines and kept people moving around. Taryn worked with me to fine-tune the menu, even down tothe last couple of days. Taryn also (as a favor to me) set up my candy buffet, which was a great help! She was there at the recpetion to make sure everything was set up correctly and really helped to ease my worrying.   November 2nd, 2019 Wedding

  My now-husband and I love Midwood Smokehouse. We knew from the first time we went that we had to have them cater our wedding! Plate Perfect Catering was in charge of making sure the food was quite literally "perfect" for our cocktail hour and reception. From the hushpuppies to the mac and cheese, the food was amazing! Being the bride and groom, we were given the advice to "make sure you eat at the reception." Well, we definitely did and boy was it good! We will absolutely recommend Midwood Smokehouse to any and all couples looking for that country style BBQ food to be had at their wedding! Thanks so much Plate Perfect Catering and Midwood Smokehouse!!

  We where very pleased with Lisa and her team at Plate Perfect catering not only were they easy to work with but they were also affordable, positive , and upbeat-always willing to go the extra mile. The food was great-everyone wanted to know who the caterer was.

  All is well that ends well

  I would definitely recommend Plate Perfect for any occasion. I chose them for my October wedding because of their reasonable prices, the delicious food, and Beth's willingness to accommodate our budget. I couldn't find any other company that offered the same quality of food for a comparable price. When we went for the tasting, we were treated like kings and queens. The food was so good and did not disappoint on the big day. All of the servers were very professional and attentive, especially Penny. Overall, I was happy with our choice.

The food was so good and did not disappoint on the big day. All of the servers were very professional and attentive, especially Penny. Overall, I was happy with our choice.
