Our wedding day was impacted by covid but Betsy (and her vendors) found creative solutions and ideas to make this day truly memorable for us. Betsy and the team went over and beyond, to make our fairytale wedding at the Kentucky Castle come to life! She understood our vision and made it happen! I didn’t have to lift a finger. Even right after the ceremony, my shoes were hurting and needed to come off. She immediately began untying them to get them removed. Sometimes it’s the little things that just make it even more grand. There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect she made our wedding! I’m forever grateful to her and the team! -

I can't express how grateful we are for Lyndsey and the PtoP team. Having no stress regarding day-of coordination is priceless.
My husband and I wanted to change up the traditional wedding-day timeline of events and Lyndsey didn't hesitate to advise/coordinate the most efficient & effective way to ensure our vision was met. On day-of, our wedding exceeded our expectations due to PtoP's eye for detail, professionalism, exemplary communication with vendors, timely execution of events, and ability to swiftly pivot when unforeseen circumstances occurred. MOB Review
I can’t thank Betsy with Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass enough for all she did for us in planning our daughter’s wedding. We were nervous about it becoming a big, impersonal affair that didn’t represent the bride and groom as a couple and Betsy helped make sure it was exactly what our daughter and son-in-law wanted. Even though the guest list kept growing a bit, Betsy rolled with every change like the pro she is. We were able to enjoy the day because we knew she had everything under control. We couldn’t have done it without her. -

Abby Sent on 05/03/2024We started out our wedding planning process thinking that maybe we didn’t need a wedding planner. Boy are we glad we ended up going with Betsy.
I’m a visual artist, my spouse, a musician. We wanted our wedding to reflect our vibrant personalities and interests. I started out a lot of conversations with Betsy by saying, “Okay, this might sound a little nutty, but how about we do…”
Betsy ran with every single suggestion. It was incredible. The end result? A modern art inspired wedding complete with an interactive art gallery at the reception!
The logistics and planning: Betsy walked us through every single thing. She gave us options when we didn’t have a clue. Photographer, caterer, florist, band, you name it! She gave us things piecemeal, so it didn’t feel too overwhelming. She was also very accommodating in working with folks of a minority faith/culture, as both me and my spouse are Jewish and wanted a Jewish wedding.
The big day: I didn’t have to worry about anything. I mean, of course I did worry a little bit, because I’m an anxious person. But I didn’t have to worry. Betsy set everything in motion and when a conflict came up with the transportation (my fault), she fixed it immediately.
It was the most beautiful day. It was the best day of our lives. It was the start of something truly incredible. If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, here’s your sign. HIRE BETSY AT PLANNED TO PERFECTION OF THE BLUEGRASS!

This is a team of absolute EXPERTS when it comes to wedding planning. Julia was our day-of-coordinator and I can't express enough how absolutely ON POINT she was with every single request we threw at her throughout our entire planning process. Additionally, Julia and Betsy offered some great ideas that truly enhanced our special day. If you are looking for a team that will GET IT DONE, this is it. Everything was executed perfectly - literally not a single thing went wrong, which I do believe they call a wedding miracle. I call it Planned to Perfection :). -

Betsy and the team were amazing from the start of planning process to packing up at the end of the wedding night! They helped to fine tune the ideas we had for our wedding day, while offering thoughtful suggestions to make the day even more special. They recommended amazing vendors who helped to create the wedding we dreamed of and made for a low stress wedding day.
Throughout the planning process Betsy would respond promptly to any questions asked even when I was emailing or texting late into the evenings. Betsy was organized offering a multitude of resources she managed to help track details, to do list, and the budget from start to finish. Any concern I had she reassured me that the team would have it handled the day of the wedding.
The day of the wedding they went above and beyond delivering flowers for detail shots at an offsite Airbnb. All the vendors knew what our vision was and how the could contribute thanks to the PtoP team. My family and myself did not have to worry about any of the details the day of the wedding. Everything ran so smooth, and at the end of the night they packed everything into my in laws car.
I can not recommend working with Besty and the team enough, because they will bring the wedding of your dreams to life!!

I couldn't have been happier than with the great service provided by Betsy Lowe while planning my wedding. We gave Betsy about a 4-month timeline to get everything planned and she was on the ball immediately. She is very responsive and is an excellent problem solver. Essentially any request I had, Betsy could make it happen. It is obvious the amount of knowledge and experience she has in the industry. She has contacts with just about everyone, and even when we threw a novel request at her (a cigar roller!) she found a vendor that we were very happy with. She did a great job working with both me and my mom (and even my dad when he had questions). Most importantly, Betsy made the planning experience easy for me. I have a demanding job and sometimes I had very little energy to give to wedding planning. When I hit my limit, Betsy took the reins and everything turned out wonderful. We were very pleased with the cost of her services and thought it was reasonable and well worth the amount and quality of service we received. Couldn't recommend Betsy and Planned to Perfection more. -

Wonderful!
My groom and I had to plan our wedding from out of state. I don’t think it would’ve been possible without Lyndsey. She was very professional, but also felt like family. From giving us vendor suggestions months ahead of time to showing us how to fold napkins the day of, she was so incredibly helpful. We had our dream wedding and it’s because of Planned to Pefection. Lyndsey was my saving grace!
Lyndsey was amazing to work with! She not only worked with me, but she was willing to work with my mom and my mother in law. She coordinated an amazing wedding and I couldn't have done it without her.
She took my numerous phone calls and even more text messages. She was on top of every detail and provided insight about previous vendors that she had worked with. Lyndsey took my budget into consideration and advised here and there where you could save. On top of that she was there when I met with some of my other vendors - she took everything into consideration and told us what was considered necessary and what wasn't which is great because this was my first time planning a wedding so I didn't know what I needed. Lyndsey really takes your interest to heart and is willing to stand up for you to make sure you get what you want.
She also has a great stash of decorations which really helped pull the look I was going for into place.
Everyone had a blast and we really couldn't have done it without her. -

Betsy and the whole team at Planned to Perfection are amazing! Betsy was with us every step of the way and made wedding planning a complete breeze. She was able to take my dream Pinterest wedding and bring it to life. Every vendor she recommended was just as amazing. Betsy traveled over an hour to Louisville for our event and for all of the meetings leading up to the big day and was always available for questions by phone or email. We were admittedly hesitant to get a wedding planner of any kind when we began, but Lyndsey with PtP proved to be well beyond her worth! My now-husband is budget conscious, so we hired her for "day of coordination" only. We also wanted the freedom to plan most things on our own with slight guidance on some specific wedding items we weren't as well-versed in. LYNDSEY WAS PHENOMENAL!! She was there for us EVERY step of the way with immediate responses and helpful answers. She solved multiple problems throughout my extensive 2.5 year engagement and obsessive emails - including countless communications with vendors and a near mishap with our hotel! And most importantly, she helped bring my dream wedding to life, and she made sure everything ran smoothly. I can honestly say that I was 100% stress-free on my wedding day and I could not have asked for a single thing to have gone any better! I seriously cannot recommend Lyndsey and the PtP team enough. She was the absolute best bang for our buck from all of our wedding expenses and a joy to work with! -

Absolute Perfection!
Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass was just that....perfection! We stumbled across them while I was looking at wedding venues with my daughter. As soon as I met Betsy, I was hooked and very relieved that someone so organized and thorough would be taking care of my daughter's special day. From start to finish the communication was amazing and Betsy made sure to consult me about every detail before anything was decided or signed. She set up all of the meetings with the vendors and went with us to make sure that we were well informed and happy with our choices. She handled all of the communication with the contracts and helped me make special requests to the vendors. The venue, DJ, caterer, flowers, and decorations all flowed together so well and made my daughter's day everything she could have dreamed of and more. Betsy and her team planned and managed everything to perfection and I couldn't imagine having to do all of that without them. She and her team are absolutely going to plan my oldest daughter's wedding when her time comes. It would be a mistake not to use them to plan your big day. Absolutely no regrets, and I feel like I have a new friend. Love you and thank you for such beautiful and perfect memories. -

The best in business
I am going to start by saying Betsy was brilliant from the day i first spoke to her. I had just called to get some information and spoke to her for over an hour. I didnt at any point felt rushed or business like. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about what she is doing because i had absolutely no clue where to even start. I felt like i was in great hands and hired her right away. Although i only hired her for “Day of”coordination, Betsy was quick to take my call or answer any questions I sent to her over text regardless of what was stated on the contract. She came to my appointments with different vendors that I requested her to join me and gave excellent advise on many things. I bought most of my Decor and she was going to set it up at my venue. During the months leading upto my wedding she kept in continuous touch and formed a timeline which brought everything together. My husband absolutely loved working with her and she got along with every single person in my family. We met a few weeks before the wedding at my venue and went over all the details with the Venue’s event coordinator. Week leading upto the wedding, we kept in constant touch and had back up plans in case of inclement weather. I got very lucky and had great weather. My ceremony was inside the venue but i had a rooftop reception. On the day of Betsy helped with unloading the cars and taking everything on the roof. She carefully unpacked everything and we went over our the design. It just so happens i forgot to bring candles for some of the decorations but Betsy was on top of it. I did hire her assistant to help for the day who actually brought my bridal bouquets from Lexington to the Venue in Versailles. I had a small dress emergency and she came through like a charm. I needed fashion tape and lo and behold, Betsy had it in her car. I also forgot my tablecloth and didnt have them till 12 ish wish was 2 hours later than when we needed them. I don’t even know how she handled it but my jaw dropped when i entered my reception area. It was like a dream. Everything came together perfectly. She read my mind and went way beyond. Everything was setup beautifully and I received soo many compliments on everything. Betsy was very attentive to the needs of my in-laws and made sure they were well taken care of. We were served as a couple first and she went upto each table and invited them to the buffet. At the end of the night she made sure all my decor was packed carefully and put away safely. I can’t thank her enough for being so wonderful throughout the wedding. I did not stress out even the slightest. She worked very hard and made sure everything was planned to perfection 😊 -

Elizabeth Sent on 01/16/2018Betsy, from PtP, was a God sent! We could not have asked for a better wedding planner and someone to help us make our big day come to life. Coming in late in the game after another wedding planner back out on us for business reasons, she came in and picked up the pieces and ran with it. From our first meeting all we got was the utmost professionalism. I could tell she really wanted to know exactly what my vision was and was totally willing to look through photo after photo of what I wanted. She was great at telling me what was realistic, what was achievable and what was beyond our budget (something we asked her to do, we needed someone to keep up in the black). She connected us to great vendors, worked around our schedule, came to every meeting I asked her to, and thought of everything we needed and all the things we didn't think of as well. She would keep us on track and make sure things got done! The day of our wedding she was wonderful! She and her assistant helped us get every photo we wanted, made sure we ate at the reception, calmed my nerves when cameras broke, had back up plan after back up plan and even at one point discussed sewing me into my dress when my hook and eye broke. Betsy was in the trenches and was fabulous every second of the day. At the end of it all looking back, both my husband, my mother and I would say that if you don't get anything else, get yourself a wedding planner. Find it somewhere in your budget! I have no doubt that without Besty it would never have come together as perfectly as it did. And when you find the money for a wedding planner, don't hire anyone else but these women! I have met all of them and they are wonderful. You couldn't go wrong with any of them. You won't only hire a wedding planner, you'll hire the person who helps you keep your sanity and be in your corner. These ladies are one in a million! Hire them!

We are both working professionals that travel frequently and were planning our KY wedding from DC. Betsy was flexible in every way, working with us via telephone, email, and text. Everything went smoothly the day of and our guests have raved about the wedding ever since. She has great relationships with several vendors which we thought really helped keep everything low stress and running smoothly. I could not recommend Betsy and her team enough.

Lyndsey was very professional and organized! She had really great vendor recommendations and lots of fresh ideas. She helped communicate with our venue, which was challenging at times. And she was great day of setting up the reception exactly how I wanted and keeping everything flowing. I would definitely recommend them!
