Fantastic!
Amanda was fantastic from start to finish. She was able to assist with all of our questions leading up to our wedding, and handled all the communication with our vendors. The day of the wedding went so smooth and she was the main reason why. All of the little details were handled by Amanda and it allowed my wife and I to relax and enjoy the day with our family and friends. Super easy to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a coordinator for their wedding! -

Best Day of Coordinator!
Amanda made our wedding day completely stress-free. She gave us so many great recommendations for vendors and ideas for the day. I honestly could not believe how beautiful all our décor looked, she did an incredible job and made our wedding go off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Amanda and her team to any couples! -

Actual Life Saver!
Our initial day-of coordinator let us know that she tested positive for covid 3 days before our wedding and wouldn't be able to make it. Trying not to panic, we called our caterer (Old Blue BBQ) to let them know we may have to shift some plans around. In about an hour, they had contacted Amanda and she agreed to swoop in and be our savior. With less than 48 hours to learn all of the ins and outs of our wedding, Amanda didn't skip a beat. She ran our rehearsal, wrangled our emcee, coordinated all of the decor, and completely transformed the venue into exactly what we had imagined. She kept us on schedule and made sure everything happened according to the timeline (not to mention she revamped the timeline according to her expertise). She was ABSOLUTELY incredible and delivered the same quality in 2 days that you might expect from someone who started with the planning process several weeks before. I can't say enough good things about Amanda - you will be making one of the best wedding decisions by hiring her. Look no further :) -

Great DOC!
Amanda came recommended to me by my caterer (Old Blue BBQ) and was exactly what I was looking for! Our venue required a DOC but I knew I wanted to be heavily involved in all aspects of wedding planning (and honestly didn't want to cough up the funds for a wedding planner) and Amanda was the perfect mix! She was helpful in answering all questions I had leading up to the wedding (including months out) but let me maintain my own vision/process and then was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the big day in securing the final details and making sure all of the vendors were ready to go! I would definitely recommend her! -

Stress free wedding day
Amanda was meticulous in putting together our wedding day timeline. She made sure to reach out to all of the vendors and hold them accountable for the services we were paying for in addition to their punctuality. I can't imagine trying to do this the day of with anyone else. -

Stress free
When I got engaged I did not want to have a wedding bc I wanted to do little to no planning. My now husband talked me into it and we hired Amanda to do our day of coordinating. She set the whole time line for us and asked us questions about things that we never would have thought of! She made everything easy and stress free the whole day. Everything was perfect and just how we wanted it. I cannot say enough about how awesome she was! -

Smartest wedding decision!
Hiring Amanda was one of the smartest wedding decisions we made! She guided us through all the planning and decision making by taking our thoughts and wishes and providing great suggestions and creative ideas to make it happen within our budget. Her hands on approach and personal touch allowed us to totally relax and be able to enjoy every minute of the ceremony and reception, confident that she was in charge. Organized, Responsive and Efficient!
I hired Amanda to be my month-of coordinator for my wedding and I am so grateful that I did! My husband and I both had a lot of family come from out of town for our wedding and soon it became apparent that coordinating the vendors, the bridal / groom's party and our families on our wedding day was going to be a huge undertaking. We had already hired most of our vendors and we had a good idea of what we wanted, but we weren't sure how to execute these ideas - this is where Amanda stepped in. From our first meeting, Amanda was organized and level-headed. She helped us to put together a preliminary schedule that became essential for the months leading up to the wedding. She was responsive to all of my random questions and very flexible when we ended up having to schedule our rehearsal for the week before our wedding, rather than the day before. On our wedding day, Amanda and her assistant, Jackie, took care of everything. We showed up to a beautifully decorated venue and she helped to wrangle everyone into place for our ceremony, our photos and the first dances / speeches. I can't recommend Plan to be Tied enough - I honestly don't know what I would have done without them! -

SO worth it!
Throughout my whole wedding planning experience people constantly told me how "calm and relaxed" I was ESPECIALLY in the last month leading up to the wedding (because thats usually not a thing) and they were right. I was every bit confident and relaxed and I owe that to Amanda. Hiring her for our month/day of coordination was hands-down one of the best decisions I made. She is personable and so detail-oriented I truly felt so confident that everything was going to work out the way it was planned. She picked up on things I missed and made sure everything ran smoothly. I appreicated her flexibility in working with me in having a totally non-traditional wedding and her follow-up with all vendors. Her down-to-earth, assertive, and proactive approach to everything made wedding plannign a breeze for me. Thank you, Amanda! -

What can I say about such an amazing planner? Amanda helped to create our perfect day, and we will always be very thankful for her dedication to our vision. Talk about putting us at ease, answering to emails promptly, making sure our in-law’s were aware of all the specifics, and making sure we ate! All things considered, her level of professionalism and attention to detail were spectacular. Not only was she incredibly personable, but our guests loved her as well! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Amanda and Jacque for our October 2018 wedding. I contacted Plan to be Tied less than six weeks before our wedding when I decided I could use a Day of Coordinator. Amanda was incredibly responsive and very well prepared. We met with her and Jacque at our venue for a few hours to go over details, and they just took it from there. They reached out to all of the vendors we hired and coordinated every last detail. Thanks to Amanda and Jacque, our wedding day went off without a hitch (or if there was one, we didn't know about it!). They thought of and took care of things that never occurred to us. Our families and wedding party raved about their ability to coordinate without being pushy and without anyone really even knowing they were there! Amanda and Jacque are true professionals and worth every dime of their exceedingly reasonable price! -

Killed it!
I can not speak highly enough of Amanda and her team. Super organized, every last detail was accounted for, and they allowed for my vision to come to life! Amanda asked questions I had never thought of, covered all bases, and really allowed me to just enjoy my day. Very responsive, thoughtful, super professional, and made you feel like you were the only bride she was working with. After the wedding, everything was organized perfectly for pick up, even making the day after a breeze! Hire her!

Amanda did an amazing job with my wedding! We had a backyard wedding with 130 guests, which required a lot of coordination and planning between 8 different vendors. She is extremely organized and detail oriented. Amanda was heavily involved in many of the planning aspects, in addition to being the day-of coordinator. She helped me with the schedule, came up with ideas, communicated with the vendors, met with me several times for planning sessions, attended walk-throughs, and helped decorate/set-up/coordinate on the day of. Her assistant was also great to work with. Thanks to Amanda and her team, my wedding day went smoothly and it was absolutely perfect! -

Amanda was an amazing addition as my day of coordinator, always willing to answer questions and stay on top of my vendors, ensuring everyone showed up on time and coordinated setting everyone up while I was able to simply enjoy getting ready. One of the most amazing things was how she kept the night moving smoothly and stuck to our planned agenda. She even pushed me to do sunset photos when I initially just wanted to stay and enjoy the guests, and I am so pleased to have those photos now. Amanda of Plan To Be Tied was really the key to making sure our wedding was a special day. We hired her to technically be a 'day of' coordinator but her services for us actually began months in advance. We met with her in person to discuss how we wanted our ceremony to go and to provide her with vendor contacts. She was very detail-oriented when going over the ceremony and reception, making sure the entire day was properly planned down to the minute. We met again a month before the wedding day to go over final details and to make sure everyone was on the same page. Amanda worked with us on our rehearsal the day before the wedding and then on the day of the wedding, managed all of the different vendor movements, making sure everything and everyone was working smoothly. We're not aware of any major issues that took place on our wedding day but if there were, Amanda apparently handled it like a pro because we didn't even know! She was very responsive for questions, both last minute and in the months leading up to the big day. We had to move our ceremony from an outdoor to an indoor location due to inclement weather but this wasn't a problem for her at all. We would highly recommend you have a planner for your day and Amanda is a perfect choice. -

Amanda brings so much helpful advice to the challenging process of planning a wedding, and we were so happy with our experience having her as our Day-Of Coordinator! She is communicative and organized, and will ensure that everything stays on track so you have the wedding of your dreams!
From our first meeting, to the venue walk-through, the rehearsal, and the big day, Amanda was there every step of the way orchestrating all the finer details and making everything as stress-free for us as possible. We especially loved that she reviewed our contracts and contacted all of our vendors leading up to the event to confirm timing, and also provided a day-of timeline for everyone to reference. At the end of the reception, we didn’t even have to worry about who was taking home what because Amanda made sure everything made it to the correct car or point of contact – so amazing!
Amanda is consistently on top of her game and made sure everything went off without a hitch! We cannot thank her enough for making our wedding perfect! :)

Being the MOB who happened to live out of town from where the wedding was planned, I knew how important it was for my daughter to have a "day of coordinator", someone who could keep track of things and connect with all the vendors so that the day went smoothly, which it did! Amanda was very attentive to details, not only being the "point person" for the vendors and overseeing the set-up, but she was our "go-to" person throughout the wedding, handling any and all of our concerns. Amanda was a pleasure to work with; we put our trust in her and she exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend her--she was terrific! -

It was an absolute pleasure working with Amanda (our day-of coordinator)! She was incredibly organized and very easy to reach by phone or email with any questions we had leading up to the big day. She put together a specific schedule that included not only all of the members of the wedding party, but also when all the vendors were to arrive and depart etc. as well as when wedding-specific events were to happen - minute by minute. Amanda with Plan to be Tied was the most amazing wedding planner I could've asked for. She was there every step of the way on the day of the wedding -- starting at 7 a.m.!
Everything ran smoothly. If there was anything that went wrong, I never knew about it -- which is what I wanted -- because Amanda handled everything.
A few of my guests even gave me compliments on how well my wedding planner coordinated the day.

Amanda is a dream to work with, super easy to talk to and was always available when I had questions or needed her input. I hired her to do day-of coordination for my wedding and I'm so glad that I did. She was extremely organized and calm under pressure. The whole day went so smoothly. She came to the venue to run the rehearsal the night before. She was very efficient and made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be. She was there first thing in the morning on the day of my wedding checking everything over and getting everything set up exactly the way I wanted it. She even had super glue on hand when one of my bridesmaid broke her earring right before the ceremony, and fixed my bustle for me when no one else could figure out how to do it. Anytime there was a problem, she was always one step ahead of it and it made my day so much less stressful. I would definitely hire Amanda again for another event and will recommend her to my friends. -

Amanda was an extremely helpful planner/partner in getting our wedding together! We utilized the 'day of coordinator' services, which entailed a pre-meeting, a few phone calls, and lots (and lots!) of emails from me. I think everyone has the fear that on the day of their wedding that something important will be forgotten or someone will feel left out - not only did nothing of the sort happen, everything floated along extremely smoothly and we were able to just let go and enjoy our day. I got her number from a friend of mine and she jumped at the chance to get started. I immediately felt the weight lifted off my shoulders. I really loved how she listened to my ideas and helped bring them to life with flawless execution. I never had issues with communication and I always felt confident she would 'make it happen'. Our wedding was just what we had imagined and I'm certain I couldn't have achieved that without her. -

Amanda was great. I booked her for "day of" services and she did a great job. She fixed the table numbers behind the scenes when the venue got them backward and she even ran out to Walmart to get some more attractive pots for our plants to sit in at the church - which was definitely above and beyond what was in her contract. My only complaint was her emails weren't always timely - but since I booked her for one day of service, not a full wedding planning service, I think that is probably fair in retrospect! -

Amanda was a great day-of coordinator! She helped our Stone Tower Wedding run smoothly and coordinated with all vendors regarding timeline starting over a month before the wedding. She came to the venue walk-through, coordinated the rehearsal, and was at the venue for the entire wedding day. She helped set up all our decorations, ensured all guests were in the right place at the right time, and made sure we got back everything that we brought with us (no small feat). Thanks Amanda! -
