Pete and Jen are absolutely amazing. I found them very late in the wedding planning game, and they came in to save the day when I was in peak wedding chaos mode. They were communicative, effective, professional, and timely. I can't even begin to describe all of the services they provided when it came to streamlining my big day, but I can say that they made my wedding day feel flawless. Game Changer- Must Hire Jen from PJ Events!

It was an Absolute game changer when I hired Jen from PJ Events. She was flexible, communicative, encouraging, and filled with knowledge. As PJ Events works all types of events, their reach and creative ideas to problem solve made all the difference for our Wedding. She joined us at venue visits and was in touch keeping us on track pre-wedding. Jenn communicated timely and professionally with vendors and ensured we not only ran on time, but had multiple vendors reach out complementing how smooth our wedding ran. Jen will work with you to customize a package to fit your needs, it is not just another wedding or event for them.

Absolute Highest Recommendation

When I hired Jen and Pete I had no idea the details that they were about to cover. Even with all of my research, I thought it would be mainly coordinating the vendors and making sure everything was in place - it was so much more than that. They made sure details were covered that I didn't even know existed like packing the alcohol at the end of the night or cleaning and packing our bridal suite.

When I saw our space fully set, it was so far beyond the Pinterest boards that we shared! There is no way to express how happy I am - they went so far above and beyond in every single area. They treated my wedding like it was their own.

They have my highest recommendation. If you want someone as dedicated to your vision as you are, hire them without hesitation.

Above and beyond amazing!

Let me start off with my chaos of rescheduling my wedding four times during the pandemic. My first wedding was scheduled for May 2021 on a Disney Cruise, then again for September 2021, then to a local wedding which I then decided to do in November on our actual anniversary date. We found a cool residential home that is rented out for events that would suite our Beauty and the Beast Disney vibes, long story short, we started having issues with the person that owned the home with constant changes to what was and wasn’t allowed even though we had a contract and which we already left a down payment for. As a paranoid Bride I didn’t want to proceed taking chances of ruining my wedding day. My mom started looking for coordinators to help guide us out of this bind and help us plan a wedding in under 5 months. We found PJ events on a google search, called them instantly, told them our issue and although not guaranteed guided us out of the mess and took a huge weight off my shoulders. We booked Jen and Pete right away! They were always lovely to talk to on the phone! I trusted them right away and any problem we ran into they were on top of it! I often communicated through text and email and anytime they were doing other big things they always communicated with me even if it was just letting me know they will be on top of it as soon as they were back in the office. During this time a lot was happening, we found our venue (Castle Green in Pasadena, CA), we were interviewing and choosing vendors, and overall just prepping for a wedding that was just around the corner and they were always constantly checking in. They also provided resources to help us stay organized. When it came to the wedding day, WOW, they really took care of me, everyone, and everything! Any obstacle I may have faced whether it was personal or on the business aspect of it they were there handling it on top of making sure the wedding I envisioned was taking place! I seriously cannot thank Jen and Pete enough! They were there every step of the way, they make you feel like family with their warm hearts and open arms! They know how important this day is and they do everything to make sure it is beautiful! I’ve already been talking so highly about them to my soon to be married family members and friends. Thank you Jen and Pete ♥️

Professional and personable

Jen Isaacs planned and coordinated our wedding with amazing professionalism. She is a competent and cordial personality. She is highly organized and communicative. Because of her expertise we were able rest assured that everything was being care of as she is experienced with all things wedding. Our wedding day turned out even better than expected and her value cannot be overstated. She comes highly recommended from us. Thanks to Jen Isaacs for helping us achieve the wedding of our dreams! Extremely thoughtful

PJ Events thought of all the things and covered all the bases so we wouldn't have to and could just enjoy our day. Our venue was a blank slate so we had a bunch of separate vendors to wrangle, and Jen handled it with ease. (And made sure we ate!)

A truly magical experience

The PJ Events team could not have made it any easier for us on our wedding day. They communicated with us well in advance to coordinate all the essential details, worked diligently and professionally with the venue and vendors, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. With their decades of experience and professional attitude, we felt completely comfortable letting them handle the details of the day, so we could relax and focus on enjoying our wedding.

Jen & Pete were AMAZING! From the beginning, when we were still figuring things out and being overwhelmed by everything we had left to do, to the end when we were packing things up at the end of the night, they were reassuring and fun, seriously on top of everything and always, always, always accommodating, flexible and professional. They made sure we were eating and had enough food, and kept us hydrated throughout all the family photos. Everything went off without a hitch (as far as I know, which is testament to how good they are at what they do) and overall, we're beyond happy we got to work with them on such a huge and also overwhelming day.

Jen and everyone at PJ Events made our wedding the most amazing and perfect evening. Throughout the entire planning process, Jen was there to answer questions and give advice that helped us create a magical evening. Our wedding was set in a wonderful outdoor venue and Jen and Anglea worked tirelessly all day to set up everything in its place with precision and and an eye for perfection in every detail. Despite the temperature reaching heats of 117 degrees Jen never stopped, she worked to keep both brides well informed of everything, and made sure the evening flowed smoothly and went off without any issues. She also made adjustments to the plans and decorations on the fly as we could not have our decorations set up as early as planned due to the heat. Jen kept all our vendors informed and made sure everyone was aware of the evenings time-line. She communicated with our venue and prepared all of the information needed in preparation for our big day which relieved us of the immense stress that is involved in wedding planning and allowed us to actually enjoy the process. I know our wedding would not have been the memorable day it was without Jen being the amazing coordinator that she is.

We cannot say enough about PJ Events! Jen and Pete worked incredibly hard to make our day as stress free as possible. They went above and beyond what was expected and their rate for it all was unbeatable. I am a total control freak and have planned many events, but I was able to let it go and enjoy our wedding because they were so on top of it! They understand the process from top to bottom, including all of the DJ needs, timing, and they even were able to improvise my sense of taste and style when needed. Jen’s incredible energy and positivity, along with Pete’s kindness and attention to the details we relayed were an added bonus. They were incredibly organized, had great attention to detail, and dealt with the bridal part, our guests, and our vendors in a professional, warm and calming manner. All of our vendors noted how great they were as well. Such an amazing team and we are so grateful to them for all they did for our big day!

As a vendor myself I have worked with numerous event planners over the years, and although many have been great, I can say that not all are created equally. Definitely not. I worked with Jen and Pete a couple weeks ago at Millwick downtown and they were exceptional. Not only was the wedding gorgeous with every detail, they were also so on top of everything, and worked with myself (DJ & Photo Booth vendor), and all other vendors very well. This not only helped us do our jobs better but also made the event seamless and of course the couple very happy. On top of this they were always very friendly and so easy to work. If you're looking for an awesome team to help make your day perfect, definitely contact them!

PJ Events is a must have for your event! Jen was AMAZING!!!! She worked within our budget which was FANTASTIC! Jen made all of our guest feel welcomed and comfortable at our wedding. Our wedding had a wonderful flow and there were not any "weird" down moments. She created a timeline and stuck to it. She was wonderful!
Our DJ, John Villa from Dance Syndicate, was WONDERFUL!!!! He was able to work with Jen to make our event flow and reflect us as a couple. John was able to work the crowd and keep the energy up.
These two companies were superb and went above and beyond. We don't plan on getting married again but if we do these guys are at the TOP of our lists.

PJ Events did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! We gave them very little direction as to what type of music we wanted but they were still able to get the feel of what we wanted just from talking with us. Every single song they played fit out crowd! All our guests have been telling us how amazing the music was. It totally made the night! Definitely recommend them!

Pete and Jen were the DJ and event planner for my wedding, and they created a fun, well-run, seamless event for us. They make a great team, and my individual interactions with them were positive as well. I'd happily work with them again together or individually.

Jen was responsive to my many questions and offered creative, budget-friendly options when I needed them. She's sweet, positive, professional and efficient. I felt comfortable having my wedding in her hands and could focus on my guests and enjoying myself at the wedding.

Pete was a great MC. He has a warm, fun demeanor -- not to mention a great accent -- and he got the party started and kept it going all night. Like Jen, he's friendly and professional. At the wedding, I was able to trust that he could read the room and set the right tone, which was a big relief. My guests loved the music, and everybody seemed to have a good time.

Best Wedding Coordinator ever!!! Jen-our wedding coordinator was actually a wedding gift from one of my husband's good friend. Little did we know that Jen was the best wedding gift we could have asked for! She and her husband Pete and their assistant Rachelle were extremely professional, supportive, patient and literally saved my wedding day since our DJ/MC was a complete joke. Even though we only booked a same day coordinator Jen was available throughout our planning for questions. She is very well-seasoned and super easy to get along with..Her and her team always checked in to make sure we were ok throughout the day and took care of things behind the scenes that in retrospect went far and above what they were called to do. I have told anyone that will listen how amazing,professional, and affordable Jen and her team with PJ events are. Ladies- if you want a stress free day and are on the fence of using a same day coordinator-believe me I have been there- it is well worth it. PJ events also do lighting and DJ. While I did not use their services-I will met my house that they would do a fabulous job! We are so eternally grateful to have met Jen and her team!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Pete and Jen. From the moment we sat down to meet with Pete about our wedding, he felt like an old friend. He immediately expressed interest and concern in what was most important to us about the big day. He was prudent enough to offer advice on areas where we needed it, but supportive of our own ideas and always flexible to make them happen. He kept CONSTANT contact with us leading up to the wedding, making sure we always knew what was next in the planning process. He was extremely organized, taking such diligent notes during our first meeting, and then presenting them back to us months later to see if our initial ideas were still of interest to us!

The night of the wedding, because of all of Pete's careful planning, we did not have to do a thing. We always knew where we were supposed to be, and our guests never wondered what was next, since he kept everyone updated periodically. Jen played such great music that nobody wanted to leave at the end of the evening...the dance floor was packed from beginning to end!

If you don't use PJ Events for your wedding, you're definitely missing out! HIGHLY recommended. :)

We could not have been happier with Pete and Jen. They were warm, professional, and easy going. Jen was great about going over my VERY long list of songs I wanted played. It helped to make the day very custom. Pete patiently answered all of our questions about the day. The wedding day went very smoothly. I suppose our best compliment we could give them was that we hardly knew they were there. Everything seemed seamless. We were so busy talking with guests and enjoying our day that there was never a thought about the timeline or music. Jen and Pete had it covered!

Peter and Jen made our wedding reception perfect. You can tell these two really know what they are doing. After meeting with them a few weeks before the wedding, we felt this enormous weight was lifted. They have done so many of these events that they helped us plan the reception (more so than our wedding planner). The best part is that it felt like they were excited to help. Yes, they may have years and years of experience, but they were so connected to us and it felt like they wanted our wedding to be as fantastic as we wanted it to be. And it was... the music was a perfect mix of songs we requested and songs that sounded like we should have requested them. And they were instrumental in keeping the energy of the reception humming... helping to wrangle guests by keeping them engaged. They also did the sound at our ceremony, which ensured great even sound for the officiant, the musicians and the readers. We couldn't have been happier!

Peter and Jennifer were so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable and professional. They made it clear from the first time we spoke that they wanted to make our entire wedding a success, not just the music.

They helped to make our wedding day as stress-free as possible, with all of the planning taken care of up front. With our busy schedule right before the wedding, they were willing to conduct our meetings over the phone and via Skype. Their flexibility and responsiveness was more than we expected.

They tailored our music and emcee services directly to us and also helped to make sure our timeline flowed seamlessly. We would recommend PJ Events to anyone who is looking for a DJ/emcee that shows up to the venue early and plays everything that you request. Many DJ's have ideas of what they want your wedding to be, but Peter and Jennifer make sure your wedding is what YOU want.

Pete and Jen are a husband and wife team; Pete acts as MC while Jen is the DJ. They made our wedding fun and involved our guests, while staying true to our wishes for the night. They are experienced and attentive; ceremony music was flawless and the reception was a lot of fun. Jen spent over an hour with us planning out the night, asking what our guests and families would like, planning out which song should go where and making suggestions, explaining their process, getting names of important people to introduce, and making a timeline. Pete and Jen both made us feel very comfortable, and they were a huge asset to our wedding. I highly recommend them!

Pete and Jen of PJ Events are hands down the best event DJ's I have ever come across! My husband and I first became aware of them when they DJ'd and MC'd my cousin's wedding back in October of 2010. We were so impressed with their energy and professionalism that when it came time to plan our own wedding, there was no question that they would be our top choice for reception entertainment. Soon after becoming engaged, we contacted the duo and set up a time to meet and discuss the details of our wedding. Unlike some of the other vendors with whom we met, Pete and Jen made it a priority to get to know us and to discuss exactly what it was we were looking for in a DJ. They came to our meeting prepared with various documents that outlined their prices and services as well as an informative list of FAQ's. Pete and Jen were so organized, reasonably priced, and downright sweet, that our decision to hire them for our wedding was a no-brainer! When our wedding day finally came around, Pete and Jen went over and beyond their call of duty! They arrived to our wedding venue early to make sure that they were completely set up and ready to go prior to our reception. They even went out of their way to accommodate our last minute need for extra sound equipment when one of our other vendors wasn't able to provide it. Our reception itself was perfect! Pete and Jen ensured that the atmosphere was energetic and fun. They were so charismatic and engaging, that our dance floor was packed with people the entire night! Many of our guests contacted us after our wedding to reiterate how much fun they had and to comment on how wonderful our DJ and MC were! Indeed, our wedding reception exceeded even the high expectations that my husband and I had for it. We owe it all to you, Pete and Jen! Thanks a million!

Pete & Jen of PJ Events were more than we ever had wished for. After interviewing several DJs, these two were the only ones professional enough to actually listen to what we wanted and offer us ideas. Their planning sheets are in depth and so helpful and no matter what you imagine these two can make it happen. It was wonderful having a husband and wife team act as DJ AND Emcee. They made sure our night was perfect by keeping us on a timeline and informing us whenever something was coming next so we could prepare. We had asked to include a conga line and a fun dance, and we had the whole floor filled and danced to Blues Brothers. From meeting them, to the planning stages to the final event they were absolutely wonderful and fun. Friends are still mentioning what fun they had and how great the DJ was, song choice and personality. The price is competitive and they worked well with all of our other vendors, informing them of when to be prepared for special photographs, etc. They are beyond amazing and if I could suggest one thing to make your night go smoothly it would be to hire your DJ from PJ Events.

We were so happy with our choice of Randy (emcee) and Jen (DJ) for our Chinese-American wedding on 9/17/11 at Mission 261 Restaurant in San Gabriel, CA. We knew them from two other weddings we went to in the last few years and they were our first choice for entertainment as soon as we got engaged. Randy and Jen are very easy going, professional and reliable. Randy was so flexible with my last minute changes to the schedule which I really appreciate. Randy did a great job in collaborating with a friend who interpreted parts of the entertainment in Cantonese. Randy is very entertaining and quick on his feet. Jen was open to all our music choices. We would definitely recommend them.

PJ Events offers both a day of coordinating as well as planning the entire event with you. They also offer Emcee and DJ services for additional cost. We chose to go with the event planning (which incorporates day of coordination into the price) and use of the DJing and Emcee services.

Jenn was instrumental in helping with a lot of the decisions we made, mostly because she found and had relationships with a lot of vendors with decent pricing and great offerings. She helped us ease out of an event location we had previously chosen that wanted ridiculous prices for what was offered insomuch as the food and decoration abilities they had, and helped us craft a wedding reception and ceremony that was unique to us and didn't blow our budget.

Day of Jenn had a few extra hands on deck to help as well as Pete as the Emcee and also assisting in making the event happen, and he did a great job during our reception putting everybody in the mood to dance and celebrate.

Jenn helped us book the reception venue, our florist, the DJ obviously (and was able to get the DJ I specifically wanted, whose name is Randy but good luck getting him because he is in DEMAND!) as well as general decor, and picking up various things day of.

All and all my new Bride and I are very happy with how the day turned out, and we would definitely recommend PJ Events and are really happy to have had them involved.

Pete and Jen were absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I were planning our Malibu wedding from the east coast and were lucky to find Pete and Jen through an acquaintance. We met with them 2 months before the wedding at a local coffee shop and were immediately put at ease - they are professional and clearly very experienced with a relaxed and friendly approach. While relaxed, they also are sticklers about details (in a great way) and ready to cater to your event's needs (style, audience, timeline). We had plenty of questions and they patiently walked us through everything. Generally speaking, we had a pretty haphazard planning process with no day-of coordinator until a few days before the wedding, and Jen and Pete were very accommodating. They made it to a venue walkthrough with only 48 hours notice and helped us gauge our venue and party's needs. When I produced a rough timeline for the day-of, they provided much appreciated feedback and went over every detail with us by phone a few days before the event. They also emailed our other vendors the final timeline to make sure everyone was on the same page.

On the day of the event, Pete and Jen both helped things run smoothly - we couldn't have pulled it off without them. When I forgot to draw up the floor plan for the reception, Jen worked with my friends to make sure the table numbers were placed correctly. They also provided the audio set-up for my brother, who wrote and performed the music for our first dance. The day before, we realized that we needed an extra mic for the ceremony music, which my brother and a friend were performing, and Jen and Pete once again pulled through on short notice and provided the equipment and set-up, all with a smile and no extra charges. Pete also graciously emceed the reception - we didn't want a very involved emcee, just someone who could run things on time like cake-cutting, table dismissal for buffet, first dance, etc., and Pete did it all very smoothly. I have no doubt that if we had wanted a very charismatic, vocal emcee, he could have done that as well with no qualms.

We cannot thank them enough for the job they did and would recommend them to friends without hesitation.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful PJ events has been to work with. I have now worked with them twice for different events and they exceeded expectations both times. Jen MC'd a small Theatrical Tea fundraiser with great success. She moved the event along in a smooth and professional manner and I got several compliments on the job she did from the patrons.

Best of all, Jen performed Wedding Coordinator duties for my daughter's wedding and Pete, along with Randy, performed the DJ services. Again, we could not have been more pleased. Both Jen and Pete were caring, ultra-organized and paid close attention to detail. They were proactive about getting information from us,were excellent in keeping the lines of communication open, and are a fabulous team.

At the actual event, Jen kept us informed, moved the event along and generally made sure that what we wanted got done. She maintained a professional and very pleasant attitude even at the end of the evening when the venue folks goofed up and really inconvenienced her. We received complimentary remarks from several of the other vendors she coordinated and I highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator.

Pete MC'd our evening and he too did an excellent job. He was professional, engaging and fun. He also kept me (mother of the bride) informed just ahead of each big item (cake cutting, etc) so I was prepared and in the right place. He pitched in and helped get the venue set up and did tons of work with several items we were responsible instead of other vendors. We also got compliments on his style and manner. Randy the DJ was fabulous as well, even quickly popping on a quick bit of the Disney Electrical Parade music when my husband made a reference to the bride wanting to be a Disney Princess. It was the perfect touch.

I am honored to highly recommend PJ Events for any event that needs coordination or a DJ.

So we booked PJ events because of all the positive feedback and reviews. We used Johnny and Enrique. We needed bilingual people because my family needed English only and my husbands family needed Spanish only. The initial consultation went very well. Jen and Peter are both very nice, casual people. They made me feel very comfortable about using their company. Enrique did a great job interacting with our guests. He spoke fluent Spanish and had a great personality we liked him. Johnny the DJ and English emcee was great. He was very nice and friendly. He really helped us with great song selections and cool ideas. He was so much fun and got everyone out of their seats. He made it a great night. I would highly recommend both of these entertainers. Jen is very proffesional and she also helped with other referrals which I am very thankful for. I can't say enough positive things about PJ Events to do them justice. Jen and Pete were so professional and flexible to our needs. When we saw their website, we thought that maybe they would be too involved for us during the reception. We explained that we only wanted a little bit of DJ interaction...no chicken dances or electric slides for this group! They immediately said "no problem..that's what you're going to get". They worked with us closely to design not only a play list, but a "no play" list of the songs we didn't particularly want at our wedding. They even asked us how they should dress for the event. Very professional, warm, caring people. I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to add a DJ to their event.

PJ Events is a great service. They were very on top of things and very quick to respond to questions. Their website planner sheet is very detailed and organized. They mention all the dances or special moment for the big day. Everything we set up perfectly.

PJ Events was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with and made our wedding day a huge success!! Pete and Jen are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, and their fun, energetic personalities shine through from the second you meet them to the time the last song is played at your wedding. They were always very easy to reach by phone and e-mail, and even met with us in person twice before we signed a contract. We had originally contracted to have Pete and Jen at our wedding, and then as a bonus they also brought Leilani as well. This triple threat was amazing, as they took turns as MC and worked seamlessly throughout our reception to ensure that our guests were having a great time. This team also acted as reception coordinators, ensuring that the evening went smoothly and that everything from the grand entrance to the toasts to the cake cutting went off without a hitch. We wanted some Russian music played during the evening, and gave Pete and Jen a few songs to use. But PJ Events went the extra mile by finding additional Russian music from a previous event they had done, which everyone loved and really shows PJ's dedication to making sure your event is wonderful. The selection and variety of music they played was perfect, and my guests were up on the dance floor all night. At one point a moonwalking competition even broke out, with Leilani showing everyone how it's done! These guys were amazing... fun and high energy without the cheese. We are still receiving compliments from guests on how wonderful the reception was, and we owe a lot of that to PJ Events. All three of them brought a wonderful balance of professionalism and fun to our big day, and we highly recommend them to everyone!!

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! PJ Events put the "wow" in our wedding reception. By the end of the night there was not a soul left in their seats as PJ Events found a way to include everyone! From the very first meeting, they helped us organize our wedding ceremony and reception. They have state of the art equipment and know how to use it. Their website allows you to upload and keep track of all your day of preferences including music as well as special announcements so that no detail is forgotten.

PJ Events made us feel at ease during our wedding reception, they were on top of every detail in correspondence with the wedding coordinator. There selection of music was OUTSTANDING and fit our crowd perfectly!! Even now 2 weeks after our wedding my husband and I are still hearing how fantastic our reception was. Jen and Pete from PJ Events did a phenomenal job at our wedding in Las Vegas. They provided DJ/Emcee services and also event coordination services for us.

As DJs they were innovative, exciting, and engaging. They managed to get every single person out on the dance floor and having a great time. Our guests are still talking about the fantastic experience they had!

As event coordinators they demonstrated the highest degree of professional excellence that far exceeded our expectations. Right from the start, Jen and Pete partnered with us to ensure that our wedding day went smoothly and exactly as we hoped. Just as importantly, they partnered with our other vendors to make sure that everyone was on track so that we could enjoy our day. Jen and Pete listened to our needs and were accessible to us whenever we needed them.

Pete and Jen are awesome! As soon as the wedding was over all our friends and family said we should get married again to repeat the party! I cant thank them enough for all their help and guidance throughout the planning and for the incredible party on our wedding day. We were having a really hard time finding a DJ and one night over dinner a friend of a friend mentioned that he had just been to a really fun wedding. When we tried getting the contact info for Pete and Jen though, the bride of that wedding wouldnt pass on the PJ events number directly without first speaking to me. She wanted to personally recommend and gush over how great they were so that I wouldnt just file away the number. I hope this review serves the same purpose to anyone looking for a DJ or MC. I wholeheartedly recommend PJ Events and specifically Pete and Jen. They were a little bit over our budget but after meeting with them the first time, Yuliya and I drove home and immediately agreed we really liked them. They were goofy, easygoing, funny, and just as important: they knew exactly what they were doing. Every time we met, our meetings ran long because I got excited about what we wanted and then Pete got excited about what we could do to make it happen. They took down all our ideas, and helped us create a timeline and schedule for the evening. As the wedding day got closer they called all our vendors to make sure they were all going be working together. During the wedding Jen DJd and transitioned effortlessly to other songs when requested by popular demand. And during the wedding, Pete MCd and got everyone, I mean everyone to dance. We even asked them to stay longer because everyone was still on the dance floor having a great time. It was the best day of our lives and they helped make it possible.

Peter and Natalie were simply great. They were friendly, flexible, and easy to work with from the start. My husband was against the idea of having a DJ because he invisioned a chatterbox talking it up the whole time. I insisted. He was extremely glad we went with them. They played the music we wanted, kept things rolling, and managed our guest like the professionals they are. We had decided on a costume contest at the last minute. I was so thankful for how smoothly that went due to Peter's facilitation. The bouqet and garter toss, the special dance, they really stayed on top of things. I had several guest tell me what a wonderful time they had, specifically refering to the DJ.

Pete and Jen were everything we were looking for! Not only are they completely professional, but they are genuinely great people and tons of fun too! They made themselves very available to us throughout the planning process and helped us make some difficult decisions regarding the music for our wedding. Peter and Jen Isaacs are WONDERFUL. I knew I had to book a DJ way ahead of time since my date was so popular. I met Peter (MC) and Jen (DJ) at my Aunt and Uncle's 25th wedding anniversary (where they did a fabulous job).

My entire experience with them was magnificent. They met with my wedding coordinator to make sure that the music was timed perfectly. They were very detailed with making sure that the music was exactly what we wanted. PJ Events was the one vendor that I had complete faith in. I had so much faith in them that I let them choose all the music for our ceremony and our entrance into the reception.

On the day of my wedding everything that PJ Events did turned out beautifully. From the ceremony to the entrance to the reception, it was a blast. We want to thank Jen Issacs (DJ) and Randy Cort (MC) for making our wedding banquet so fun and memorable. Guests raved about the music, the games, and entertainment, and the dancing. And they even learned alittle something they didn't know about the bride and groom.

After having returned from our destination wedding, we found Jen & Randy only with 1.5 months left to our wedding banquet date. Needless to say we were completely stressed out and clueless about lots of things including logistics. Jen met with us at the venue, listened to our ideas and what was important to us , and made some excellent recommendations based on her experience and expertise. After our meeting, Jen sent us a draft timeline and logistics of the day of the event and we made modifications from there. We felt comforatble with her right away and most importantly we knew that she is a professional who knows what she needs to do so we don't have to worry on our big day.

Randy is a natural at his role of the MC. He can create an atomosphere that almost guarantees a fun time for everyone. Some of our guests didn't understand much English but they still laughed at Randy's jokes and had a awesome time.

We would recommend Jen & Randy's services to any couple getting married or anyone who just want to throw a great party!

"It was the happiest day of my life" the bride Charlene has said many times since the wedding in April of 2008. PJ Events were everything that a couple getting married could ask for. Peter and Jen were great. Professionals from our first meeting to our planning and to all aspects that a couple needs when getting married. The checklists, the follow up, the follow through and the actual event were perfect. Peter and Jen are much more that DJ's they were the MC's, time managers and the faciltators that kept the photographer and videographer on schedule with all events of the night. Everyone had great night1 :)

I can't begin to say enough how happy we were with our experience with PJ Events. For our wedding, Jen Isaacs was the DJ and Randy Kort was our MC.

PJ Events was probably the most professional vendor we dealt with during our wedding --- they were always extremely quick to respond to our emails and phone calls and we had three wonderful face-to-face meetings (as well as an extensive conference call to iron out the wedding day) with them. They were very low pressure as well and gave us plenty of time to decide whether they were the right fit for us.

What we liked most about Jen and Randy was that they really seemed to GET what we wanted our wedding reception to be --- namely, a fun time that would leave the guests smiling and laughing. They listened to us and did a lot of work on there own to create games to play during our reception that would get the crowd involved!

The wedding reception itself was absolutely amazing --- Jen's music selections were very appropriate and Randy was incredible as an MC. He knew how to truly be funny - not some of the awkward forced funny that you get from some MCs - and to make everyone smile and enjoy themselves. By the end of the evening, he got the entire room (including many in their 50s and 60s) up doing a conga line around the restaurant and onto the dance floor. We never thought that many people would dance, but they felt so comfortable thanks to Jen and Randy that they just started dancing!

We would completely recommend PJ Events to anyone planning a wedding --- they are definitely a little more expensive than some other DJs out there, but it was completely worth it! We received so many positive comments from our guests --- including a few guests who were thinking of reasons to throw a party just so they could invite Jen and Randy to MC/DJ!

We were watching a home movie of our wedding reception last night and were laughing just as much as we were laughing that night --- truly an amazing time thanks to Randy and Jen!

This is a combo-review. PJ Events did our day-of wedding planning/coordination as well as our reception music/entertainment. We LOVED having Pete and Jennifer's input and involvement every step of the way. They were very helpful with providing and executing the fun elements that met the tone and feel we were going for. We consider them our new best friends and will always be grateful for making our wedding day seamless and stress-free.

On the DJ/Entertainment side:
The Planning: From our first meeting, we knew they would be perfect because we loved their energy, enthusiasm and ideas. They provided a helpful worksheet that aided in determining the flow of the reception; it also provided a springboard for more fun entertainment options we hadn't considered. In the final planning stages, there were no loose ends or cause for stress or concern to us.
The Venue: PJ Events did their homework beforehand getting information about the specifics of our venue and planning the reception fun around the constraints of the space and our budget. On our wedding day, I got there early. They were settling in and ready for action already. The reception was wonderful, fun and many of our guests have reported that it was the most fun they've had at any wedding they've attended!
We had a wonderfully fun wedding thanks to Pete & Jen!

On the Wedding Coordinator side:
Jennifer (or Jen) was outstanding. She helped secure details at the venue without us having to wrangle with the vendor. Her ability to take care of so many things "invisibly" behind-the-scenes on the day of our wedding was amazing too.
My new wife, Lisa, needed to find a good hair & make-up artist..Jen knew and picked a fantastic one--and Lisa looked amazing. :) Jen made sure all the vendors arrived and set up when and where they were supposed to, coordinated the photographer, DJ and food timing, coralled the guests to the appropriate space at just the right time and helped us make every moment run so moothly. Jen is magic.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again at my next wedding. :) (JUST KIDDING!)

As you can tell, we really liked working with Peter and Jen. I don't refer to them as "PJ Events" because they are more than just a company... I feel like we have gained new friends.

They are a great team and are so in sync with each other, the bridal party, and the guests. Whatever we wanted, we got and THEN SOME. I had a friend the very next day tell us they always thought their DJ was awesome until they met ours.

One area we didn't want to scrimp on was the entertainment and it was money well spent. They had people on the dance floor that normally don't dance, doing moves we normally don't see!!

The British accent added a whole other flair being that many of our guests were from England. It was just a beautiful touch. Very Impressive all around.

PJ Events is the most exceptionally entertaining and professional service out there, period. They custom fit everything according to what we wanted with flexibility, helpful suggestions, thoughtfulness, and experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We could not have done this wedding without them. They put everything together, coordinated everything from start to finish, and made it a totally enjoyable, relaxed, and stress-free experience for me. I got a lot of requests from friends who wanted to hire them after the reception.

As soon as we met with P.J. Events to DJ our wedding, we knew they would be the one. After our first meeting, we knew we wouldn't have to worry about the music. They listened to what we wanted in terms of music and timing of what songs to play when; they even played a tarantella for us! The day of our wedding, they were on time, dressed very professionally and they kept everyone dancing. Looking back, I believe they were a huge part of the success of our wedding and it wouldn't have been the same without them spinning for us and let me tell ya, our wedding ROCKED!!!!!!!!!

Jen and Pete were the best! I was able to relax and go with the flow and they had everything under control. It was a day wedding and they were still abelt to get everyone on the dance floor and kept evrything on schedule. I *still* have people tell me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. And at least 3 of my friends who have since been married have gone to Jen and Pete. As for the rate -- it was more than fair and I would have paid them double! If you want a perfect wedding -- trusy Jen and Pete -- they are really professionals.

Peter and Jen Isaacs are WONDERFUL. I knew I had to book a DJ way ahead of time since my date was so popular. I met Peter (MC) and Jen (DJ) at my Aunt and Uncle's 25th wedding anniversary (where they did a fabulous job).

My entire experience with them was magnificent. They met with my wedding coordinator to make sure that the music was timed perfectly. They were very detailed with making sure that the music was exactly what we wanted. PJ Events was the one vendor that I had complete faith in. I had so much faith in them that I let them choose all the music for our ceremony and our entrance into the reception.

People don't really understand the importance of hiring true professionals until after the fact. After speaking with several different vendors, we didn't hesitate hiring PJ Events. They were absolute dreams from the the first to the last meeting and every call in between. We hired PJ Events because we wanted to alleviate any and all stress from our wedding day, which is exactly what they did. They were amazing in tackling every question we had, making suggestions we would have overlooked and keeping us both calm throughout the planning process. At the reception, Peter, Jennifer and their crew were amazing keeping the flow moving throughout the night. We had such an eclectic group of family and friends, we weren't sure what to expect, but they watched, listened and handeled the crowd perfectly. Everbody had so much fun!

There is something to be said about getting what you pay for. You must also know that somethings you can't buy. These people are more than professionals they really take their work personally. We could not have pulled this off without them and still be standing and smiling. I highly recommend PJ Events for weddings or any other events that require a coordinator or DJ.

PJ events provides far more than great music customized to the audience or your preference... they provide a lively, interactive, professional entertainment service. Once the wedding ceremony was complete, I wanted to make sure that all our guests had a great party at the reception & PJ events was phenominal. People from 15 - 90 years old were up dancing well into the night! We had a wide range of ages and personality styles at our wedding and yet they all had a wonderful time. Plus I didn't have to worry about a thing - PJ Events coordianted with all the other vendors. Over 2 years later I still get comments from friends and family "I had such fun at your wedding!" and "I literally danced a hole into my stockings!"
My opinion? When it's your wedding day make sure you choose services/vendors that have the experience and professionalism to make your day unforgettable (for all the right reasons)... it may be a bit more expensive than someones cousin with the IPOD but VERY VERY worth it.

There's only positive things we can say about PJ Events. They were very helpful in answering all of our questions. After the wedding, many of our guest said that we had a great DJ and that it made the party great. We couldn't been happier that we chose PJ Events. Thanks for making our wedding amazing.
