We had our wedding at Pine @828.venuesandevents in Charlotte, and overall, we were so impressed with both the venue and our coordinator, Mayson James. She was a blessing in disquise!! Mayson did an incredible job managing all of it for us and we couldn’t be happier with her personable, very warm and friendly attitude in helping us with all of the things our day was going to include.
Mayson was wonderful to work with and truly went above and beyond for us. She was incredibly accommodating with our special requests, load-in, moving furniture, our bar package, and all of the little things that came up throughout the planning process. She originally came on as our beverage manager only, but after a staff transition, she ended up overseeing the entire process—and we were so grateful she did. She was there on our day from start to finish and made such a positive difference in our experience entirely.
The venue itself is beautiful and was such a great fit for the modern, open feel we wanted for our wedding. The wide-open space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sheer curtains created a gorgeous setting. We chose not to have table cloths because the space is a beautiful rustic, feel with wood tables and white metal chairs giving a touch of industrial style, yet staying modern. We also loved being able to have cocktail hour upstairs while our planner and team transformed the main space from ceremony to reception. Mayson even helped us arrange a satellite bar upstairs in the final moments, which was such a huge help. We had 150 wedding guests with comfortable space for ceremony seating as well as our table set up for dinner and reception, including additional space for a dance floor. Large bathrooms conveniently on both levels, wheelchair access ramp to the entrance, and beautiful “get-ready” space with a double room suite downstairs (and quick access to bathrooms for the wedding party to stay "out of sight"). The venue supplied all the chairs, tables, and several bar package options to choose from. They also allot 24 hours for the venue which was huge for us!
There are a couple of things couples should be aware of when considering the space. There are limitations on what cooking equipment your caterer can and cannot bring into the kitchen facility, but our catering team followed the guidelines and made it all work graciously, even having served the best tasting filet and scallops all plated!! Another thing to consider, because of the open ceiling and industrial piping, sound can carry quite a bit and become echoed, and we found the music during cocktail hour and the DJ during the reception to be louder than expected, which isn’t necessarily on the venue, but something to keep in mind for whatever your DJ/Band selection is. The venue also does not have an elevator, which we knew going in and initially didn't think would be an issue for our group. Unfortunately, my mom had emergency surgery just 48 hours before our wedding and thankfully made it, however she was wheelchair-bound, so she wasn't able to access the upstairs portion of the venue. It was ok since the downstairs bar offered the same as upstairs, along with passed apps on both levels, allowing plenty of guests to remain downstairs while the room was being flipped. Obviously, that was an unexpected circumstance and not something we could have planned for but definitely wasn’t a deal breaker.
Despite those things, we absolutely loved our wedding at Pine828- Charlotte, and Mayson was a huge part of that. She was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day go smoothly. We are so grateful for everything she did for us! We love you, Mayson!! Thank you, PINE!! It was an unforgettable, amazing evening! -

I was hired to Dj a 50th birthday party at Pine and I was amazed at how nice and spacious it was. I would definitely recommend Pine to anyone looking for a venue for any events.

Pine was so perfect for our wedding! We booked it a year in advance when the venue was under construction and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I was able to work with Kaitlynn and Rya, and they were both so amazing!!!! They communicated really well, always on time and and answered all my crazy and lengthy emails. I got the partial planning service and they helped me stay on top of everything. I could not have imagined my day to be any more perfect and smooth! Both Kaitlynn and Rya were so lovely - demeanor, professionalism and all around great boss babes! I did not feel stressed at all and they went above and beyond coordinating and decorating everything. Also- always coming up with solutions to my concerns!
The venue- it was stunning. I was able to create what i wanted since it had an open lay out with big windows- modern - clean! Just everything we looked for!
10/10 recommend.

Amazing staff!
We held our event at Pine in February and the entire process from planning to day of was so seamless and easy. The staff was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely matter. We will definitely be hosting future events at Pine! -

I am an event decorator in Charlotte and I’ve done balloons + backdrops setups 3 times already. I think that every event looks fabulous and unique in this venue. It’s so versatile and it has many options depending on every event needs.
I love the decoration details of the bar, restrooms, upstairs, entrance, etc.. it’s so pretty. Highly recommended! -

The Pine has an absolutely incredible staff. Their team is dedicated to giving you a phenomenal experience. Their space being beautiful is a given, but having a great team is what really sets them apart from other venues in Charlotte! -

Beautiful venue!
PINE was a gorgeous venue for our March wedding. Rya and Madison were friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our questions. The open and airy space was flooded with natural light, creating a beautiful, modern backdrop for our day. I enjoyed being able to personalize the venue space and bring our vision to life. While the venue pricing didn't include a lot of additional things (i.e. room set up/flip, room design, decor, coordination is all extra), it was still worth the cost and has so many amazing spots for photos! The vibes are amazing and the bridal suite is fantastic for getting ready! We loved celebrating our special day at this venue! -

I had the pleasure of my wedding being at PINE 828. The venue is beautiful and very spacious. The communication and professionalism of the staff was definitely appreciated. Our coordinator Rya was amazing and I was so happy to have the opportunity to work with her. She was excellent to my wedding party and I and made sure the night ran smoothly. Her ability to make a stressful situation run perfectly is something that will forever stand out. Thank you!!
