We cannot recommend Jessica and the team at Piece O' Cake highly enough! Finding a vendor who offers exceptional quality and is budget-friendly can be tough, but this team absolutely delivered. From our very first contact, Jessica was incredibly easy to work with. She listened to our ideas and vision and made the whole process of selecting flavors and design completely stress-free. Piece O' Cake executed our vision perfectly, creating a gorgeous cake for our ceremonial cutting that looked incredible in all our photos, in addition to a delicious sheet cake they prepared for our guests! If you're looking for a wedding baker who is affordable, professional, and provides both a beautiful centerpiece and incredible dessert for all your guests, look no further. -

I reached out to Jessica at Piece O’Cake with specific requests for my wedding reception- tiered cookie cake and cupcakes with floral icing design. She told me right away she could do exactly what I wanted and we worked together to figure out the details. She delivered on time and everything was PERFECT! She brought my dream to life. Jessica is so courteous and we are so happy we chose her for our special day. -

We ordered a one tier round cake and a sheet cake for our wedding this past October and were thrilled with how beautiful and delicious our cakes were! Non-cake and cake fans alike commented on how much they enjoyed it. Throughout the whole process, the company was easy to work with, clear, and made things like the tasting so much fun. -

Piece O’ Cake made our wedding cake and cupcakes. The cake and frosting are absolutely delicious. As the guy who actually eats the cake at weddings, this was one of the most important vendors for me. After the tasting I knew this was the vendor we had to work with! (Also, the tasting is awesome, highly recommend sharing with friends because they give you so much to try).
Unfortunately, Piece O’ Cake was booked the day of our wedding but Jessica helped figure out a pick up plan so that we could get our cake and cupcakes from them! Their variety of styles, flavors, and icings are top of the line. Our 2 tier cake was beautiful and the fresh flowers looked great! My only regret is giving away the cupcakes in single clam-shells at the end of the wedding instead of taking all the leftovers home!
If you care about how your cake tastes (and looks) then hire Piece O’ Cake!

Erica Sent on 10/08/2018Piece O Cake was amazing to work with! They matched the frosting color to a photo I sent them. Also, I'm really picky about cake and can't stand if it is remotely dry. The cake was PERFECTLY moist and delicious and so many people commented it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. They delivered to our venue for a small fee, which was really nice too.

Stephen Sent on 09/18/2018We went in for our preliminary cake tasting, and they brought out a platter of six different (vegan!) cake flavors, with corresponding icings. From there, we had the difficult decision of picking out the cake/icing combination- all of the flavors were delicious! The tasting itself was very laid back, and Heather was able to answer all of our questions about cake sizing and decorating options. Highly recommend! -
Robert Sent on 07/01/2018We were delighted with our wedding cake from Piece O' Cake LLC. It was a tiered cake with flowers but the design work was very simple as requested. It was delicious and beautiful and they took the time to put the flowers on at the venue. They also didn't overcharge as many other cake vendors seem to do. Flowers were from Amour Flowers (separate review) and billed separately.

Naomi was very responsive in answering all of our questions and she helped us determine exactly what we needed. They delivered right on schedule and the cake turned out exactly like the inspiration photos I sent to them. And it was delicious! All of my guests raved about how great the cake was. I highly recommend them for any of your specialty cake needs! -

I had a three tier cake with chocolate cake with cookies/creme filling, strawberry cake with strawberry preserves, and lemon cake with raspberry filling. The team showed up on time to deliver the cake and all the guests raved! They were a joy to work with and gave us our dream wedding cake at a great price. I highly recommend Piece O' Cake for your wedding cake needs!

The cake was three tiered (they let us do a styrofoam layer to make the cake appear larger and save money) chocolate cake with mint icing. They honored our request to make the chocolate cake extra "fudgey" and the mint icing we chose went perfectly with it. They "rough frosted" it exactly the way I wanted and it fit so beautifully with our "rustic" wedding. We ordered a marble cake with buttercream frosting sheet cake also as a second option (again to save money) and it was delicious!
We did a tasting with Jessica, who was very nice and enthusiastic. Jessica was easily accessible to answer all my questions. She put up with me asking a ton of questions about the sizing and pricing options, and made no effort to up-sell it at all, she seemed to genuinely want to get me the right cake at the right price for us.
What really put them over the top of me is that after I ordered and paid for the wedding cake I let them know I have a little girl in our party with food allergies, and could they please make a gluten free/dairy free cupcake that I would send additional payment for. They were more than happy to accommodate and didn't even charge me. Her family was very thankful and she really enjoyed it.
We didn't really shop around for wedding cake because we were in the middle of moving to our new home at the time, and I'm so lucky that I chose a place so good on the fly! I have a major sweet tooth and made sure I had some time to sit down at the reception and enjoy my wedding cake, and it was delicious. -

This was the only place my Husband and I went for a tasting and loved the flavor options and decorating options. We had a 3 tier cake with each tier a different flavor and was no problem doing this either. It was a very stress free process, I gave general ideas and sent pictures of what I liked and received sketches back and then picked one and got an even better designed cake then I could've imagined! We only had to go once for a cake tasting and the rest was done via email, very simple, easy and still had an amazing cake that tasted great too! -

After some searching I found Piece O' Cake LLC and was impressed with how friendly their service was along with how amazing their cakes tasted! Dana Sent on 01/15/2015This bakery is run by two sisters who truly LOVE what they do. Jessica was great to work with, and always responded in record time... which is a bonus to a planning bride-to-be. :)
They are really willing to work with you for whatever you wish to do. We didn't want any grand cake for our wedding. We had a display cake (10" round) for cutting and ordered a sheet cake that our vendor cut in the back to serve to the guests. (NOTE: Brides, if you're not so much a cake person, but feel like you "have" to have one - this is a great money saving option.) Some bakeries will not do this - but PoC was so accommodating and loved the idea!
I also ordered my husband a groom's cake from here. I had an idea, roughly drew it out and on our wedding day - there it was - perfect! :) -

Sara Sent on 01/10/2015We stumbled upon Piece O' Cake through google maps during one of our visits to Frederick, and could not have been more happy we did. In summary: you should 100% choose Piece O' Cake!
Jessica is passionate, fun, and a little quirky when it comes to cakes and this is exactly what we were looking for. Our cake was beautiful, fun, and affordable (see pictures). We chose to go with a small cake and sheet cakes in the back to feed our wedding.
Almond on almond is to die for! We had many positive reviews from guests and the cake was moist and delicious. During a tasting Jessica gave us some various options, however do not trust the sample. As Jessica has a small business she must freeze the cake resulting in it to become dry. HOWEVER, it is not. We needed to get a small cake to-go for my fiance (back in NYC) to try and THAT small fresh cake was so good (worth the price to buy and try fresh!) ... I am pretty sure I ate it all and he didnt even get to try!!! And the day of the cake was just the same as the fresh small cake. It was very very moist and just the right amount of flavor.
We are so happy we got to have Jessica and Piece O'Cake make our wedding cake and would totally order from her for a regular event if we lived in the area. DELICIOUS!
