Highly Recommend

I found Jewels after I got engaged. At the time I was ONLY looking for a photographer to do our engagement pictures. I specifically wanted a photographer who wasn't afraid to get a dramatic shot, and I also wanted an urban theme. After much googling, searching, and researching photographers, I found Jewels. I reached out to her and she was very responsive and we were able to do our shoot. The pictures turned out absolutely incredible, even BETTER than I could have even imagined.
Meeting Jewels is like seeing your best friend from high-school after 10 years. It's like you've always known her, and she makes you feel a level of comfort and familiarity that is not common in a lot of photography settings. I was able to give my own input and direction of what I wanted to accomplish, and she took that and then made it even better. Because of this, we decided to use Jewels for our destination wedding in Mexico, instead of the resort supplied photographer. We just didn't want to take any chances of not having the perfect pictures of one of the most important days of our lives. Having Jewels and her assistant at the wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made for our special day. She captured pictures from our rehearsal dinner, the whole wedding day (which was probably rough due to the heat and humidity, but they were troopers), and even a styled shoot the day after the wedding. Jewels was even able to do the hair and makeup for some of my bridesmaids and the mothers. It didn't even take very long after the wedding to be able to view all the pictures! They came out stunning, and we just wanted to frame every single one of them!
Jewels is easy to work with, and all expectations are set in writing so there's no confusion to what her services provide. If there are any questions, she is always responsive and will communicate with whatever your needs are. I highly recommend her.

Pick Jewels!!!

Jewels is AMAZING! She did hair and makeup as well as all photography for our engagement shoot and wedding. The photos as well as the hair and makeup were perfect! We could not be happier with her work and have gotten countless compliments on our photos as well as people specifically commenting that we had a great photographer. She is also an awesome person and was truly an integral part of our wedding day. Everyone loved her. She is clearly an extremely talented professional and worth her weight in gold. She infuses style, attitude, and drama into her photos, making them unique and seemingly magical. We now have beautiful prints and an album to proudly display in our home for the rest of our lives. We give her our highest recommendation and having her as our photographer was the best decision we made out of everything we did for our wedding.

Gorgeous Photos & More

Hiring Jewels was one of the best decisions I made about my wedding! I originally only planned to have her take our engagement photos since we were doing a destination wedding, but once we saw those photos, we knew we had to have her shoot our wedding in Jamaica. She also did my hair and makeup, which gave me such piece of mind knowing that I wouldn't have to rely on resort employees on the biggest day of my life. Not only is Jewels an amazing photographer, but she's also someone I enjoyed being around and getting to know. Thank you SO MUCH for the breathtaking photos Jewels!

We found out about Jewels through the “suggested photographers” list that The Four Seasons provided for us. I went through the list and visited the websites of all the photographers on the list and Jewels was hands down our first choice. We went in to meet with her and felt an instant connection. She was fun, personable and professional. I was extremely nervous for our engagement session because I am the opposite of photogenic and truth be told, my (now) husband has a tendency to be a little awkward in photos as well. Jewels and her crew made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun frolicking around downtown Denver that the vibe was able to come through in the photos and we absolutely loved how they turned out! Fast forward to our wedding day and it was the same vibe. My husband and I didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony and Jewels was more than on top of making sure that didn’t happen. She got such a great variety of photos of the bridal party and so much of the ceremony’s details (I wanted to drill a hole in the wall so I could watch the whole thing prior to when I walked in) but was able to live it out via our photos and our video. After the ceremony she was so courteous of everyone’s time and didn’t take it all up taking pictures. We were able to get pictures with our giant bridal party and even more giant family and still have plenty of time to be present in our reception-where she captured all the details of as well. I don’t know how she did it, but Jewels was able to put together a slideshow of the day to show at the reception and it was a hit! I was just shocked at how well our photos turned out. The pictures of my handsome husband take my breath away every time I look at them. Our wedding video is hands down the best wedding video I have ever seen, seriously! We are beyond happy with having Jewels as our photographer and got so many compliments on our photos and countless people asked who our photographer was. THANK YOU JEWELS!!!!

Jewels is absolutely amazing. She did our wedding photos at the Clock Tower. We live in Dallas and Jewels made everything so easy to do long distance.

She did my hair and makeup along with the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids and officiant. Everybody looked gorgeous and it was super easy hanging out with Jewels all day.

Our wedding pictures are stunning. The lighting, poses, and creativity in all of the pictures are just beautiful. She made sure that we got all of the poses we wanted and then she worked her magic to give us even more. Everybody who has seen the pictures says that they look like they should be a spread in a wedding magazine. She was the perfect fit for our wedding and we couldn't be happier!!

Let me start off by saying Jewels was not only the most professional and prompt photographer that I’ve ever meet but she made our engagement and wedding shoot so much fun. She got us our photos back in a timely matter and even made a slide show for my family who couldn’t be there. She goes beyond what a typical photographer would do for you. She has an eye for the small details and her candids were the ones that brought a laugh or a tear to my eye. She’s truly a artist and has her full heart in all her photos.

Jewels was AMAZING! She got every shot we were hoping for and then some. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, and she made both sessions a lot of fun and very relaxed. On our wedding day she got all of our first look and wedding party photos done very quickly, and we were able to relax and wait for the ceremony to begin. All of my friends and family loved Jewels and her team and were in love with all of the photos we got back. I couldn’t be happier and would recommend Jewels to ANYONE.

We absolutely love Jewels and her work! She photographed my sister-in-laws wedding in August of 2016 and when my husband and I got engaged we knew we had to have her photograph our wedding too. She is very talented at what she does. We love her creativity and quality of her work. Jewels is very responsive, flexible, and professional. My favorite part of our wedding was when Jewels put together a slideshow of the pictures she had taken of our wedding and showed it to everyone during our reception. It was so special to be able to share that with everyone. We were impressed with how quick our engagement and wedding photos came back to us. I actually used Jewels for a Boudoir photo shoot as a wedding gift for my husband. I was nervous at first as I hadn't done anything like it before, but Jewels was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable, she didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to do, and she was so flexible. My whole experience with Jewels was great from communication, to the photo shoot in itself, to the finished product. I highly recommend Jewels for all photography needs.

Jewels is INCREDIBLE! Not only did she capture absolutely gorgeous engagement and wedding photographs, but she truly took the time to get to know me, my husband and our family members. She was calling everyone by their first name and knew exactly who went with who (and that is quite a task- we have a MASSIVE family and had a 20 person bridal party). She even arranged our family pictures to accommodate the fact that we had older grandparents who could not stand for long, so she got the photographs with them done first and quickly so they could sit down faster. She gave an amazing slide show presentation of our photographs from the day at our reception which was truly one of the highlights of the evening as you obviously cannot wait to see your wedding day photos! We had our photo reveals within a month and she had the negatives on a flash drive ready to go for me that day. I was absolutely thrilled at how fast I got my wedding photographs!! I get compliments every day on our wedding photos and I have friends and family constantly asking who our photographer was. Go with Jewels as your wedding photographer it will be the best decision you make for your wedding!

Jewels is absolutely amazing! Not only does she take gorgeous pictures but she also makes you feel comfortable and confident. Jewels took our engagement and wedding pictures. Our wedding was just last week so we've only seen a few pictures but so far they are beyond STUNNING and we can't wait to see the rest! If you book Jewels I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Working with Jewels was such a joy from start to finish. Myself and my new husband can both get shy when a lot of attention is on us and with the pressure of wanting to make sure every picture would turn out perfect on our special day had us both so nervous. Jewels felt like a friend that we had known for a long time from the moment we met her so when we got to the wedding day we instantly felt comfortable with her behind the camera. We are still getting comments from our family, wedding party and even our guests how much they enjoyed her professionalism and how enjoyable she was to be around. She kept us on schedule (even ahead of schedule!) and everything felt so organized. Jewels does not just photograph but does excellent hair and makeup work as well. A friend of a friend referred her and I am so satisfied with her services. I have problem skin, and Jewels reassured me of how she can work with that. She was mentally and physically reassuring, which is what a bride needs on her big day and the weeks leading up. Jewels made me look and feel SO beautiful. I had a few requests based on our trial together and she graciously received them and made me look better than I ever expected. My now-husband and I hired Jewels to photograph our wedding in Northern California. Even though she lives in Denver, I’ve followed her work for many years and knew she was the only one that I could imagine documenting this memorable event for us. From the moment she arrived at the rehearsal dinner, to the time she wrapped up our final portraits, Jewels was on-point, professional, creative, and eager to please. Her hard work shined through in each of our pictures. Jewels is incredibly talented and just so fun to work with! Everyone at my wedding and reception absolutely loved her and have been gushing over our pictures since we received them!. When looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone fun, enthusiastic, creative, and different than just sun flares & rainbows. I stumbled upon Jeff & Jewels Photography through my "Denver Wedding Photography" image search and let me be honest, we fell in love with their work. After meeting with Jewels, we fell in love with the whole package.

You want to feel comfortable with anyone who will be taking pictures of you, even more so when you get real awkward for photos… me more than my husband. We started with our engagement photos up at Red Rocks. They turned out awesome I should add! Jeff and Jewels were so helpful in directing us through the whole shoot that it just was a fun afternoon on a sunny, fall day.

Once the wedding came along Jeff and Jewels were great. Jewels did such a good job at keeping tabs on everything that was happening and made sure everything did happen! They were great at getting that natural smile to shine through as well as catching things in the moment; like that smooch mark on my dads cheek right before he wiped it off.

After everything was said and done Jeff and Jewels became our friends and we were so happy to have gotten the pleasure to work with them. We highly recommend Jeff & Jewels Photography for any professional photography services.

Jeff and Jewels were the perfect choice for our wedding. We met with another photographer first, and I just got a strange vibe. The moment we met with Jewels I knew I wanted them to be the ones. I hate being photographed and was nervous that would show through. Luckily, they were so professional and both had great attitudes and gave perfect direction. Gray Photography by Jeff & Jewels was amazing to work with from start to finish. Visitng with them in their beautiful home studio to discuss the event and travel details was a great way to start; seeing examples of their work made it an easy decision to select them for our Wedding in Mexico. Prior to arrival, and on their own accord, the pair scouted some fabulous and unique places to do a day after photo shoot of just the two of us and we are thrilled with the end result. Throughout the day of the ceremony and reception, we were continually impressed with their organized and professional approach in directing various people for the photos he or she was required to be in at our request. Especially the group photo following the ceremony! It's one of our favorites, it really captured the energy of our entire group that made the effort to travel down to Mexico and celebrate with us. Lastly, Jewels did an amazing job on my hair and make-up three different times, I have never looked more beautiful. :-)

The wedding went by so fast that I want to hit rewind and replay. I'm very pleased that I have such amazing pictures to look back on. There were details from the wedding day that I didn't even notice until we got the pictures back. Thanks to Jeff and Jewels who captured all the little details!

Didn't even know they were there during the event. Afterwords had a great eye for getting the family shots and some awesome candid keep sake photos. Beforehand we had mentioned some of the things that we liked about the location but once you get there and everything is happening it is easy to forget to consider some of the initial thoughts you had... Jeff and Jewels were very concious of placement and I was blown away at the back grounds they were able to capture and the overall compositions. We feel very fortunate that they were there to figure out the best placement to reach our objectives. It definitly shows in the pics! Very accomodating to our craziness and overall a real pleasure to have be a part of our family for the day!

Jeff and Jewels photographed our daughter's wedding at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons. They were wonderful to work with. Jeff always returned my phone calls immediately and was very patient in answering all of my concerns. During the ceremony and reception they were unobtrusive but able to capture every moment. The only problem is choosing which pictures we want for the album since they are all beautiful. I would also recommend Jewels for make-up. She listened to how we wanted to look (natural)and was a pleasure to work with as well.

Being an amateur photographer, I received all the wedding photogs we interviewed with serious scepticism. All of the photographers had their lucky "money shots" that they put out proudly on display, but I know from experience that that doesn't say much. We all get lucky with the camera now and again.

So, I put them all to the test and asked to see three full wedding albums that they had done. Night and day - this is definitely what separates the big dogs from the rookies. After reviewing Gray Photography's three weddings, my fiancee and I made the decision to use them based on quality, value and style. We didn't want the same old BS Kodak wedding photos, we wanted something classic but original. So, based on what we saw, we went with Jeff and Jewels Gray.

My finacee and I were both put at ease when we sat down for our first meeting with them. Very down to earth, patient, and receptive to our ideas. Another thing I really liked is that everything in their display room screamed creativity. They had a personal creative touch on everything around them - always a good sign of a good artist.

At the ceremony they had the perfect amount of presence. Not too invasive, but managed to get all the obligatory family shots quickly and effectively. Being wedding pros, they helped with everything really - always providing direction on things we were clueless about.

When we got our photos, we were blown away. There were well over 200 amazing photos to choose from. Seriously, we are still trying to determine which ones we want to print. I was genuinely amazed by how many great photos they got of us, our family and all of our guests.

Jeff and Jewels were a DREAM to work with - not only ON our big day, but in the weeks leading up to it and after. They were professional, polite, friendly... the list goes on and on. I highly recommend them to anyone that asks. Fantastic, artistic, one of a kind - can't say enough positive things about them! We were SO pleased with the way our professional photos came out - the images captured every second of our wedding day PERFECTLY!

Jeff and Jewels did everything to make our wedding day feel special and unique. From early in the morning when Jewels came to my house to do hair and makeup for me and my wedding party all the way to the end of our ceremony when we were sent off in the town car. They captured the very essence of all of our guests in the candid photos and did a great job ensuring that we got all the formal shots we asked for. We couldn't have asked for better photographers for our big day!

Jeff and Jewels are the most wonderful, kind, prefessional and talented people. We couldn't be more crazy about them! We weren't exactly sure what we wanted when we were planning our wedding as far as photgraphy was concerned but Jeff and Jewels nailed it right on the head! They knew we wanted to capture the "moments" and not just have posed pictures of everyone. They listened to us and really captured "our day"! The photos are perfect! We originally weren't going to have them stay until the end of the wedding but half way through I realized I wanted them to capture ALL of it and they worked with us and were so flexible that they stayed until the end without hestitation or complaint! They were all smiles and totally professional the whole time! Also Jewels did my makeup and my sister in law's makeup, I never looked so beautiful on my wedding day! I have never seen myself that way and WOW! she did a wonderful job and really listened to me and what I wanted. She made my makeup look natural (for real!). They are the best! They work beautifully as a lovely couple and professional team. If you are looking for a couple that can do it all and you won't even know they are there! They are like phantoms while the celebration is going on, not intrusive at all! They are so reasonable and really know how to listen and provide with what are you paying for and beyond. They ROCK!

You can't put a price on photos that will last forever to remind you of your wedding day. Jeff and Jewels captured our special moments with creative, yet elegant style. When it was all said and done my wedding day went by so fast I could hardly remember the details; then I got all my pictures from Jeff and Jewels. Their photo's take me right back to that day because they didn't miss one detail or emotion. The best part is that Jeff takes the time to edit EVERY photograph he puts in your final book of 400 or more photos. Literally, every picture is so neat with either the effects or the poses that it's hard to choose which ones to frame because you'll want them all! Jeff and Jewels captured one the most wonderful evenings of our lives. We had so much fun at our wedding, and the pictures are wonderful. Having Jeff and Jewels photograph our wedding was ones of the easiest choices I made in planning our wedding. They are professional, flexible, and do amazing work! The day of our wedding, we really appreciated how low-profile they were. We never felt like Jeff and Jewels were "in our face". We were married in October 2008 and to this day, looking through our wedding pictures brings tears to my eyes. The formal shots, the candids, and pictures of the venue all bring the day back like it was yesterday. They are absolutely incredible shots - Jeff and Jewels are true artisits. We used Jeff Gray Photography for our wedding and are still receiving compliments on how original our photographs are. Jeff and Jewels took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and applied it directly to the photos they took and above all, the wide range of editing afterwards. I also used Jewels to do my hair and make-up and am still in disbelief how well she did both. I had a very specific mental picture of what I wanted to look like on the big day, an image that I had carried with me since I was a little girl. With ease, Jewels created that very image for me on my wedding day. Together, Jeff and Jewels were able to take my dream and turn it into a reality that I now have captured in beautiful pictures for the rest of my life. Thank you!

I love my wedding photos. Everyone else who looks at my photos (proudly displayed in our front room!) and comments on how great they look, not to mention how cool they are. What I loved most about Jeff is that he is an artist first, and that really showed through in a collection of great pictures capturing one of the best days of my life. The team of Jeff and his wife Jewels were very easy to communicate with, and really took the pressure off. I recommend Jeff Gray to anyone and everyone I meet when they are looking for a photographer.

If you have found a photographer and his name isn't Jeff Gray, you haven't found THE photographer. Jeff is truly talented and ridiculously creative. We gave him little instruction, few directions, and he pulled off the most amazing pictures I have seen. He and Jewels made the day go by with such ease, we hardly knew they were there! They blended in and managed to get perfect shots, both candids and posed. Every major event that is held by my family in the future will be photographed by Gray photography. BOOK GRAY PHOTOGRAPHY!!

I found Jeff & Jewels early in their wedding business and would have thought they had been doing this forever! They were very laid back and professional, and great to work with. Jewels did my hair and makeup and I look back and smile at how beautiful she made me look and feel. These high-end artists were affordable, they didn't play any games with my negatives, and there were no hidden charges. I appreciate that they gave me the personal attention I deserved. I highly recommend Jeff & Jewels for your event - you won't be sorry!

Jeff & Jewels did a great job organizing our huge wedding party (9 on each side)and very large extend family throughout the evening. Our pictures are gorgeous and we love having them on disk to share with family, print our own sets, etc. While originally we were planning on spending a bit less for our photographer, they were well worth extending our budget for.

We loved how crisp and creative Jewel's photos were. We chose her because of her artistic ability to take photos. We were concerned about the cost, but her photos were incomparable to other photographers. Jewels is an artist and was able to capture the moment of our magical day. Jewels was great to work with. Very fun and efficient at the wedding. She has great "work sheets" to get an idea of what we want for wedding photos and organized way to choose photos for our wedding album.

Jewels is absolutely amazing! Surprisingly I didn't use her for photography but instead for my hair and makeup. Jewels and her team did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids the day of my wedding and they did an amazing job. They were very willing to work with us and make adjustments to our hair and makeup to ensure it was exactly what we all wanted. Everyone looked stunning and the hair held up very well. Jewels is one of the sweetest most genuine people. She is very reasonably priced as my husband and I were on a strict budget. Jewels is amazing and if I would send every bride to her if I could.

From the beginning, Jeff and Jewels photos rocked. They captured everything in our wedding, from our invitations to details to guests dancing and in love. I love how big Jewels dreams for your wedding and truly invests herself into making your day eveything you ever wanted. They were efficient, kind and very professional. They do excellent work and are great to work with. We especially liked all of the informal shots taken at the reception - our guests didn't even realize they were being photographed and we have some great close-ups of everyone just having a good time. Very creative as well.

Jeff and Jewels were great to work with. They made my husband and I feel so special prior to and during our wedding. Every bride wants to feel like a princess on her wedding day, and they definately made me feel like one. I love my photos and will cherish them forever. We were extremely happy with Jeff & Jewels. I hate getting my picture taken & usually don't like pictures of myself but ended up with multiple engagement & wedding portraits that we liked. Jeff & Jewels are laid back and personable -- the last thing that you need on your wedding day is someone that is constantly in your face and/or annoying. We would highly recommend Gray Photography for weddings or other occasions.

Photography by Jewels has a great portfolio. As a prior client, I recommend clarifying any information with the photographer before hiring her; I would not recommend her for a special event. We were charged 3500 for 6 hours, and our pictures had 0 edits. Lots of them needed to be clearer ( photos a blurry) and have better lighting. Her portfolio really does not seem to be her work. When I addressed my concerns with her, she was very offended, and her customer service skills were inappropriate. She came back stating that she had never been critiqued, and she judged my body image by saying that I might not like my photos due to being my number one critique. She also admitted that her computer was not working, and her deadline was missed. It took her more than a month to deliver a USB with poor-quality photos. Once asked how I could obtain the product I had been offered, she suggested that she charged 100 per hour and that it took hours of work to get there, meaning that I would have to pay thousands more. Then she offered that I purchase a photo book for 2500, and those photos could be edited at her discretion. All photos looked the same, and nothing was exclusive. She took about 60 pictures of candles and tables and lacked to take momentum pictures of the wedding.

If you can, avoid this photographer's services, especially for special events. My photos were ruined, and I can't go back.
