Phil and his wife were the most incredible addition to our wedding day! They were attentive, professional, and completely focused on my husband and myself. They worked SO WELL with all our craziness the day of our wedding and had amazing input and ideas throughout the day. We booked them for 8 consecutive hours and they stayed absolutely professional and fun every minute! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer! -

Phil did an absolute AMAZING job! I am so incredibly happy I went with him. He answered all my questions, along with some I didn't even know I had. He was on time and completely professional and unbelievably friendly. He also took charge with 3 very large families when need be so I had nothing to worry about. He walked away when he could see i was stressed and went to take other pictures. He then came back to get more of me! He got every picture I wanted and then some! I could not give a higher recommendation! If I could give more then 5 stars I would in a heart beat. I would highly recommend Phil to everyone. There are not enough words or praise I could give him!! Thank you Phil for everything!! Below are a few pictures from our wedding of his amazing work!! -

Amazing experience, great to work with!
Phil was great at our wedding! His pictures turned out clear and not overally filtered. He and his second shooter (his wife Jess) stayed extra without asking to make our day special. He posed us when we didn't know where to pose, and did lots of candid shots during cocktail hour/dancing. One thing that was really thoughtful and special is that Phil and Jess came and found both my husband and I, plus my parents to say goodbye and thank you at the end of the night. It really added that special touch to the end of an amazing day! He got our sneak peaks back super quickly, and we where able to see about 30 of our photos by the end of the week! I am so excited to see the rest of the photos and 10/10 recommend hiring Phil for your wedding/event! -

Phil and his wife, Jess, are an awesome team and they helped two camera-shy people feel comfortable! They helped us stay on schedule, coordinated many family and friends photos, and got some great candid shots throughout the day. Also, they're both attentive to detail-- Phil made sure to get certain mementos photographed that I had forgotten about, and Jess did a few creative shots that we love. We can't thank them enough for their patience, efficiency, and moral support on our day! -

Phil and his wife Jess were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!!
They did an amazing job and made everyone feel great and comfortable! Phil made sure to remember everyone's names, who they were and worked on making sure we all felt our best!
I would recommend them over and over again to anyone who is looking for a great photographer, because they really do care not only about you but everyone who is important to you as well.
I am so lucky to have had them there to capture our wedding day, the photos they had taken make me feel like I can relive my wedding day over and over again! -

My wife and I cannot speak higher about Phil and his unmatched photography skills!! We hired Phil to shoot our engagement photos, but we had him photograph our wedding as well because we were so thrilled with how all of the photos came out! And boy did he deliver. His professionalism and skill set led to some amazing pictures, but his demeanor and friendliness were what really made the wedding day so great for us. He made the entire day so fun and effortless for two people who normally aren’t very comfortable with professional photo sessions. If you live in Wisconsin, and don’t hire Phil as the photographer for your wedding, you’re doing it wrong! Thanks Phil! -

Phil Koehler Photography! Where to even start! Phil and Jess were so amazing and efficient in everything they did for our day! From taking photos, to fixing my train, and getting my stubborn mom to smile!! I felt utterly comfortable with Phil from the moment we met! He accommodated meeting before the wedding and was prompt to getting back to me about any info we needed. He captured a lifetime of memories that I can relive every moment I look at these photos! The attention to detail and some of the moments that were captured! I cant explain or put into words how grateful we are for Phil and Jess! A talented, professional, and friendly photographer!
We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Phil and his wife Jess for our wedding photos! Phil was so professional and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was prompt and effective. On wedding day, they were so efficient with directing the group to get all the photos we wanted in a timely manner. They are extremely creative and talented, utilizing natural lighting and different scenery within our venue. We received our photos very promptly and absolutely love how they turned out. Many of our guests and family members have even complimented our photographer, saying how efficient, friendly, and creative he was. Phil has our highest recommendation! -

If you’re trying to decide on a photographer, Phil is the guy for you. Friendly, professional, easy to work with, and amazing at what he does - you will not be disappointed! STUNNING Photos from a Gem of a Photographer
UNBELIEVABLE! There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Phil and his art at photographing our wedding. He is punctual, attentive and reassuring every single step of the way. From the communication ahead of time to ensure the timeline flows perfectly to the day of in wrangling six junior bridesmaids for incredible photos. Our guests kept telling us how wonderful he was and how great of a job he did and we could not agree more.
Phil arrived early to the venue to take Reception/Ceremony space pictures before meeting me at my home for "getting ready" photos. This was something I hadn't even asked of him and I'm so grateful he took it upon himself to give us these memories. I'm also certain he stayed beyond our agreed upon time to make sure we got our cake cutting and first dance in. Truly appreciate this above-and-beyond care he gifted to us.
We received our photos a week ahead of schedule and they are STUNNING! I have never felt comfortable in front of a camera and neither has my husband, but Phil made everything feel so effortless and gave us the confidence to "just be". I literally cried when I opened our email attachment and scrolled through the hundreds of photos. We truly could not be happier and now to select favorites from the many gorgeous shots. Thank you Phil, we are honored to have had you capture our special day. -

Phil Koehler Photography delivered beyond our expectations! We had a small intimate ceremony, and Phil was able to capture the emotions of our day perfectly! Looking through the photos was definitely reliving the day. We also had a bit of a crazy morning, with an outdoor wedding and a thunderstorm pending, but Phil was the best to work with! He was calm and flexible with helping us get everything in before the rain! All of my bridesmaids said they loved him. Phil created poses that were unique and stunning - many people have mentioned that our photos look like they could be in a magazine! The colors in our photos are vibrant and the posed shots of our group stand out beautifully against the backdrop. He took lots of casual shots of the events throughout the day, and everyone looks great in all! We could not be happier with how everything turned out! -

My wedding was small that lasted a couple of hours and Phil was able to give a custom quote that fit our budget. Phil is fantastic at communication and answered all of my questions in a timely matter - usually the same day within a few hours. He was flexible in changing locations for photos. His photos came out so beautiful and we will enjoy them for years to come! I highly recommend him! -

I cannot CANNOT recommend Phil enough!!! We found Phil on Wedding Wire looking for a good, but affordable, photographer, and Phil proved himself 10 times over. My husband and I’s wedding day was unusually hot for an early June wedding in Wisconsin, but Phil and his wife, Jess, didn’t miss a beat! Phil was taking photos and adjusting people, Jess was adjusting me, my dress, my veil, my flowers, you name it! These two went above and beyond what typical photographers should do and they are a great team together and a great duo to work with! Not only did they capture images that will bring back memories for years to come, but I know my husband and I for sure will remember their skills and their dedication to making our wedding day the best! If I ever need professional photography, I have Phil and Jess on speed dial! Thank you again! We will keep in touch! -

I was looking for a photographer that does more natural kind of stuff at a decent price, and I saw Phil's name popped up. I contacted him through the Thumbtack app and we went from there. The pictures did not disappoint! He was great at contacting me throughout the process, asking if there were certain poses I wanted and if I wanted certain things captured. All my requests were met. He was also willing to travel from Stevens Point to the Green Bay area for us. He and his wife were very easy to work with the day of the wedding. They are down to earth and make sure to get the vision you're looking for. -

Phil Koehler Photography did our wedding and I can't say enough good about everything he did that day. His ideas for pictures were awesome. He fit in like one of the family and the end result was beautiful. It was kind of a last minute thing because we were getting married at the courthouse but I am so glad he was available and was able to provide his unmatched skills and professionalism to make our special day the best day ever. If you are looking for a photographer, it's a no brainer - call Phil!!
