Most delicious cake I’ve ever had

My husband does not like cake and he could not get enough of this cake. Price was fair and people were so kind. They will follow your vision to a tee so have all your ideas and decorations ready. We wanted simple and were worried more about flavor and boy did they deliver flavor!!

Amazing cake!

The cake tasting was such a fun experience here! The cake was delicious and all guests raved about it! The design came out amazing and just as I imagined. The bakery was included with my venue and I'm so glad it was!!! Yummy!

Most delicious cake!

I had an idea in mind of what I wanted, which changed when I found out they don't do fondant cakes. But they were still able to do the colors I wanted, the ombre design, and the most delicious cake! We had one layer of chocolate cake and one layer of confetti cake (which is my absolute favorite). It was so personalized and no fondant meant everyone got to enjoy every last bit of cake on their plate! This bakery is part of wedding traditions in my family and they were so flexible, affordable, and easy to work with.

Excellent service and great taste!

Petonito's was FANTASTIC!! We booked Petonito's as part of a package with our venue and it was so nice having a vendor that was so familiar with our venue. Our cake was made exactly how we had envisioned and the staff was so kind (they gave us complimentary cookies when we booked!). We had two different flavors in our cake and our guests really loved both! Additionally, we had bought two birthday cakes because we had a couple of birthdays at our wedding and those were also beautiful and special. The cakes were great and the service was attentive; I would highly recommend Petonito's!

Delicious and beautiful

Upon seeing our wedding cake for the first time, I was incredibly pleased to see how beautiful it looked. From the purple ribbon wrapped around the bottom layers to the white roses scattered throughout, it was stunning. Once we opened up the cake, the funfetti cake and strawberry filling took it over the top! Thank you for a delicious addition to our wedding day!

We held our wedding at Amarante's Sea Cliff. The package there includes a wedding cake from Petonito's Pastry Shop. So we went to Petonito's Pastry Shop to pick a flavor. Mark was very nice and helpful. He let us try five different flavors which were actually all very impressive. After quite a discussion, we narrowed down to two flavors and Mark offered to make the two flavors separately into the three tiers of the cake. This was very helpful because our guests could choose the one that they prefer. Our guests enjoyed the cake very much! The design of the cake was also wonderful! It looks very elegant in our photos.

Our cake was beautiful - the "vision" we had for our wedding cake was interpreted perfectly. We barely ate any because we were so busy dancing, but our guests raved about how delicious it was! We will, for sure, be ordering cakes for our "life events" in the future. Thanks for making our dream cake!

Cake was beautiful and tasted delicious! I had real flowers added to the cake, cascading down and it was just as I imagined it. The only thing I wanted to change was to only have dots for design ( no swirls). I called 3 days before my wedding to change it but it turned out my cake had already been made and decorated. So just know exactly what you want or call at least a week in advance to make any changes.

From the minute we met Mark we knew Petonito's was our decision. We loved how traditional he was & how it is a family owned business. It truly felt like he cared about every person that came in his pastry shop. He let us taste several cakes and fillings. Let me tell you, it was hard to choose! Mark and Adrianna made the process so easy & ensured us everything would look beautiful. LET ME TELL YOU, they were right! Not only was the cake gorgeous, we got endless compliments on how delicious our cake was (White cake with strawberry mouse filling for those wondering). We were able to rent out their cake stand, and it was definitely one of our best decisions. The cake was prettier than I could have ever dreamed. One of my best vendor choices! Thank you Petonito's for your beautiful and delicious work. I would highly recommend.

Petonito's made mine and my husband's wedding cake. It looked gorgeous and tasted amazing! Before going for our initial tasting, we went to a different cake company and had a very poor experience with them. After leaving this company, we decided to take a chance and show up at Petonito's unannounced expecting to be told we would need to make an appointment. To our surprise, they sat down with us right away and gave us a cake tasting! Everything was delicious and we booked with them right away. The entire staff was so friendly and the cake came out perfect!

Petonito's was absolutely fabulous! Mark was so nice and welcoming when we went to meet him for the first time. I gave them a picture of my cake and they replicated it perfectly. I was so pleased and excited with the final product when I saw it on my wedding day. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing as well! Everyone was raving about how good the cake was. Petonito's made our wedding cake and I cannot tell you how beautiful and delicious it was! We met with Mark the owner on two occasions and he was so friendly and easy to work with! We sampled many cake flavors and fillings, they were all delicious! I also fell in love with a five tier wedding cake that I saw in a bridal magazine I brought a picture of it to Mark and he replicated it beautifully ! My cake looked like it was literally out of a bridal magazine, just perfect! When I walked into my reception and saw it I got emotional I was not expecting such an amazing cake but Mark pulled it off beautifully! I would highly recommend Petonito's!!

So for my wedding I didn't want a typical wedding cake, because come on, who has cakes anymore. So I went to Petonito's for a cannoli cake, and no, not a cake that tasted like cannoli, but an actually 2 food by 1 foot cannoli, that was filled with mini cannolis. The presentation was so beautiful and very unique. The cake was only something like $70 and i had lots of other small cookie and desserts as well. It was a very affordable and delicious way to have a fun wedding cake.

Can't say enough about owner Mark. He was very accommodating since we were planning our wedding from out of state, allowing us to do a tasting late on Thursday for a Sunday wedding. When we called weeks later to confirm the tasting appointment, he remembered exactly who we were. He even ran out to our car when we forgot our receipt after the tasting. My wife and I both have different ideas of what an ideal cake should taste like, so I was pleasantly surprised that we both loved the same cake. Guests loved it too! The cake was beautifully decorated, moist, and delicious. Thanks Petonito's!! P.S.- we are both wishing there was some cake left right now because this review is making us hungry :)

The cake was awesome. JUST what we asked for. We wanted ALL white, which is not a normal request but it looked perfect with our cake topper & exactly what we asked for! I want to sincerely thank Petinitos from the bottom of my heart for fulfilling our request as asked, for being so sweet & helpful. The owner is amazing & very organized. I was extremely happy to find them. The cake tasted amazing as well!

Mark was amazing!!!! He designed a special cake that I had seen in a magazine!!!! When I saw my cake for the first time in the reception room, it took my breath away!!!! It also tasted amazing!!!! I had white cake with a cream cheese filling with mini chocolate chips and fresh strawberries!!! It tasted just like the stuffed strawberries I had envisioned!!! The fondant was truly delicious!!!!! I absolutely LOVED my cake!!!!!

We ordered a cake through them when we had our wedding at Anthony's and from the first visit we were happy. It was a great experience from the taste testing down to getting our cake at the day of the wedding. The cake was moist and delicious and also looked beautiful! We were so happy and would order from them again!

Mark at Petonitos was awesome to work with. Our cake was 5-tier and beautiful (mix of round and square) with simple, but elegant swirl design and edible roses. We got so many compliments on the cake (taste and look), and were impressed with the flexibility Petonitos provided. While JCakes only allowed 1 shape, simple designs, and 3 tiers with our wedding package at Woodwinds, Petonitos let us expand on these simpler options at no additional cost. In fact, our cake had a flavor per layer since my fiance could not decide on one!

My husband and I had a consultation with the owner 6 months prior to our wedding and we were amazed how helpful he was with designing our wedding cake. There are no limits to what they can do here! Not only was our wedding cake beautiful, but it was also delicious! We were originally thinking of doing fresh flowers on the cake, but the owner ensured us he could make edible ones that looked real. He certainly impressed us and our guests since they thought the flowers were real! My mom also got my bridal shower cake here and our guests still don't stop talking about that cake as well as the wedding cake! You won't go wrong here!

You dream it, Mark will make it! We were able to have four different flavors in our four-layer cake and the design and decoration were exactly what I had described and envisioned. Oh, it's oh so delicious, too! Many wedding cakes are dry because they're out so long being decorated, but ours was moist. You will be impressed!

Peonito's provided the cannoli cake for my rehearsal dinner, as well as my wedding cake. The cannoli cake was the perfect dessert for our crowd of about 40 people; I would highly recommend it for any special event. Our wedding cake was designed by Petonito's just as I had described my vision to them. We went with the chocolate mousse which was still rich & delicious days after the wedding. I would recommend using Petonito's for any wedding/special event dessert!

Mark is very friendly and helpful. Go in hungry for your tasting -- he gives you a very generous helping of each type of cake! We took home leftovers.
I called a couple weeks before the wedding to order a special cupcake for my aunt. They went with it and she loved the surprise!

I chose Petonios because my mom and dad had gotten their wedding cake from them 40 years ago! When we went there to taste cakes and I told the owner that, he said wait a minute and walked in the back. He came out with a book and showed me my mothers cake order from 40 years ago! He blew my mind and made my heart so happy that he had cared to save those memories for so many years. Beyond the family feel they gave us, the cake was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was georgous and tasted as good as it looked! We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding cake. I found a cake that I fell in love with and brought in a photo. The day of the wedding we were so impressed with how beautiful it looked. It was like an exact replica, except in our wedding colors. We loved the bakery and all their staff were extremely friendly and wonderful to work with.

We could not have been more pleased with Petonios Pastry for our wedding cake. They were so kind and friendly. The cake testing made our decision difficult because all of the cakes were so good! Once choosing the cake they took care of everything! I never worried about the cake! I can't wait for our 1 year anniversary to eat more!

This is the best bakery there is for wedding cakes. I asked for a castle cake to go with my cinderella theme wedding and they did an awesome job. They have never done a cake like this before and it was terrific. I would recommend them for all your cake and pastries needs. There pastries are awesome also.

Petonito's has amazing cakes, always delicious and beautifully decorated! I truly enjoyed working with with Mark, the owner. He is very professional, helpful and easy to work with. The cake looked exactly as we requested and tasted better than I anticipated. I can't wait to eat the top on our anniversary. Highly recommend Petonito's!

This bakery was a joy to deal with.
The cake was exactly what I wanted and delicious!!!
Also, I would recommend the giant cannoli for the rehearsal dinner!!

The people at Petonitos were very helpful. They sat with me and listened to my suggestions. They designed my cake just like I wanted and it was beautiful. Not to mention DELICIOUS!

Mark and I discussed our vintage style wedding cake with risers and antique cake topper for our big day. He was excited to bake this way, claiming the vintage style was his favorite to do. I was quite impressed with Petonitos, everything I sampled was delicious! Our cake was exactly what we discussed, not too sweet, just fresh and delicious! I would recommend this bakery to anyone in the area!

Petonito's Pasty Shop is a great bakery! Mark is great to work with- he is personable, and flexible. He was willing to work with us to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted in a wedding cake. And, the cake was delicious. Our guests raved about how good it was.

I was very impressed by Petonios Pastry! My fiance and I could not decide on a flavor so they made us a multi-flavored cake! It was amazing and our guests loved the choice of chocolate cake or vanilla with rasberry! Also I went there once and explained my vision of a white 4 tier cake with cascading silver stars. I never went back to check on the cake and I never needed to. When I saw my cake at the reception, it was my exact vision. I recommend them to all brides!

We were very happy with our wedding cake from Petonito's. It came out gorgeously, and even though I only had one bite on our wedding day, I had some a few days later and it still tasted great. I'm looking forward to having some more cake on our one year anniversary!

Petonito's did a fabulous job on our cake. We had a great 4 tier tiffany colored cake. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted wonderful!

The cake was great, everything we asked for. We didn't exactly get to enjoy the cake that evening, which is why I give it 4/5. It's in the freezer, waiting for next year.

My fiance and I had our engagement cake done by Petonito's. Mark is extremely friendly and the cake looked SO BEAUTIFUL, but unfortunately the cake did not taste good at all. We were all very disappointed. =(
