Perfectly Posh blew away my expectations for hair and makeup. They really did make me look like a princess. I'm not a girly-girl, and I actually never wear makeup or get creative at all with my hair. But I did want to look like a bride, and Ana and Katie made me STUNNING. I had never felt so beautiful before. Not only did Katie work magic with my hair (a complicated updo with side braid), but Ana did a wonderful job of giving me the natural, radiant look that I wanted.
From booking to the trial to the day of the wedding, Ana was extremely professional and responsive. She talked me through every decision, from logistics to beauty, and on the day of the trial she was willing to stay for as long as it took to get my look just right. I was nervous going in because I knew nothing about makeup, but she answered my questions and put me at ease. She helped me figure out a skin care routine for the months leading up to the wedding, and whenever I had a new question, she was on the phone with me. Her team arrived early on the day of the wedding, and they worked efficiently while upholding their extremely high standard for quality. Everyone finished early, and we were all ready well before picture time. It was clear that the entire team was dedicated to helping us have an amazing day. Ana herself was feeling under the weather from a cold, but she still insisted on coming to do my makeup. Katie was hosting a birthday party for her 4-year-old that day. I was so impressed by their dedication to their clients.
Any honest review should address the negatives, and I only had one: there were some additional fees that were annoying, especially the transaction fee, which seemed irrelelvant because we were paying by cash and check. That being said, unexpected fees are the reality of the wedding industry, and the extra money paid was worth it to know that I was getting an excellent service on this once-in-a-lifetime day. -

Carolina was truly incredible from start to finish. At my trial, she listened so carefully to all of my feedback and absolutely nailed the vision. I walked away feeling confident that my look would be perfect on the big day. And she delivered exactly that (and more).
On the bridal portraits day, my makeup was flawless and stayed that way, but what really set Carolina apart was how she went above and beyond during portraits. She was right there for touch-ups, adjusting every detail, and even repinning my hair to keep everything looking perfect in photos. It made such a difference.
Beyond her talent, Carolina brought such a calm, steady presence to what can easily be a chaotic part of the day. She was an absolute sense of calm during bridal portraits, and I’m so grateful I was able to book her with Perfectly Posh.
I truly couldn’t recommend Carolina more highly. She is exceptional at what she does. -

I got married last year in November and had the best experience with Ana and her team! Not only was my makeup and hair beautiful, the communication between Ana and myself made the entire trail and wedding morning flow smoothly. She made me feel right at ease- between her thorough process, accommodations for my family/friends, and our lovely chats! Ana and her team were amazing!!! From our very first phone call to the day of the wedding I felt so comfortable and at ease! We discussed in detail how I pictured my hair and makeup looking. At our bridal trial she took me step by step through each product making sure I felt confident in the look. Dream Team!
Where to start!? I highly recommend Ana, April, and the Perfectly Posh team. From the booking process to the day of, they demonstrated warmth, professionalism, thoroughness, open-mindedness, and excellence in all of their work. During the hair/makeup trial and on the day of, I felt so comfortable and truly seen by both Ana and April. The final outcome (natural/soft glam and a whimsical braid with real flowers) was STUNNING - I couldn't believe how radiant I felt! For anyone who doesn't typically wear a lot of makeup and is on the fence about airbrush - go for it! It is truly a seamless look and barely detectable.
On top of being talented artists, they are both genuinely fun people to be around and made me feel super relaxed while getting ready. My wedding attendants also raved about the service from the team - everyone looked cohesive, but also like a reflection of their true selves which felt so important to me. Ana and April, thank you both for being such a special and memorable part of my wedding experience! Much love! -

My wedding planner recommended Perfectly Posh to me, and it was the best decision I made working with Ana and her team. They are truly incredible. Have you heard of a bride + 8 that got all of their hair and makeup services completed A HALF HOUR EARLY? The whole team was very professional and operated like a well-oiled machine on the morning of my wedding. For makeup, each artist was very attentive to each individual woman's needs and wishes. They will cater to all different styles, whether you want full glam (complete with airbrushing and lashes) or a very minimal, natural look. For hair, there was flexibility with all the various hairstyles and hair types in my party as well. Any hairstyle that was pinned up did not move one bit all night long, even through the 80-degree ceremony and a few hours of dancing in the evening. In the sunset picture of my hair, that was taken ~8 hours after it was done that morning. It hadn't budged aside from mild strays of my thicker, coarser hair poking out due to a sunny, humid day. It stayed pretty much that way throughout the night after that as well. I can't recommend Perfectly Posh enough! -

Ana and her beauty team are hands down the absolute best! I really enjoyed working with Ana because she is on it! She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and organized. It was really nice to get to know Ana and her team during my makeup trial. I truly felt so reassured with my wedding look and definitely thankful that I was able to book Perfectly Posh Hair & Makeup for my wedding! We had 9 total for hair and 8 for makeup! Amazing experience!
From the first phone consultation I had with Ana she was so warm and knowledgable, and willing to help. She was extremely prepared and sent out surveys for everyone in my wedding receiving services to better get to know their needs and you could tell on the day of her whole team was extremely prepared. All hair and make up artists that she brought with her were amazing, everyone looked so good and everyones hair and make up lasted all day and night. Between my trial and the wedding day I had an adjustment to how I wanted my hair to look and they accommodated that request with no issue, even making one final adjustment right before I was due for my first look. I would highly recommend Perfectly Posh to anyone in the Chapel Hill area! -

From my first call with Ana, I knew she was not only the perfect fit for hair and makeup for my special day, but also that she has a unique gift not only for makeup, but for making people feel special and beautiful as well. She was so organized and thorough, and handled all my last minute requests perfectly in stride. I also had the BEST time chatting with Ana and her team and getting to know them throughout my trial run, bridal portraits, and on my wedding day. They were all so professional, yet were fun and kind and shared so many laughs and stories. But most of all, my girls and I looked incredible. We had traditional and airbrush makeup, gals with and without lashes, hair done up and kept down, and every single person looked incredible. Not to mention our hair and makeup LASTED through the sweat and tears as well. I truly cannot rave about Ana and the Perfectly Posh team enough--my wedding would not have been perfect without them. I definitely DEFINITELY recommend! -

I had a great experience with Perfectly Posh Hair and Makeup. Ana did my makeup for my engagement photos, and it was perfect. As someone who doesn't typically wear a lot of makeup, I really appreciated how she got feedback from me at each step during the makeup application and really took her time getting to know me and what I was looking for in my makeup. She very responsive, easy to communicate with, and professional. My makeup lasted through a warm afternoon, evening, and even stayed on in the water! I also really enjoyed chatting with her as she did my makeup. Highly recommend! -

Very professional and punctual. Loved my look!
Ana was very professional and punctual during my engagement shoot make up session. She made sure to have enough time so we wouldn’t rush the process and would stop to make sure I loved my look the whole time. She takes your inputs into consideration and helps you bring your vision to life. She gives you her input but ultimately wants to deliver what you want. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a MUA! Can’t wait to work with her again! -

Ana and April were great to work with. I'm a really simple person (bun + no makeup on a daily basis) so getting dolled up for my big day was a slightly intimidating prospect for me. Especially with a mom and sister who hoped to see me glammed up beyond my comfort level. Ana did a great job reassuring me and even went so far as to meet with me prior to the trial to test products on my skin after I told her I've had reactions to products before. They did a great job listening to what we wanted and making our visions a reality. I personally wanted to keep my natural hair texture in an updo and April did a beautiful job not only working with my hair but actually finding a subtle way to highlight my curls. And I told Ana I wanted to feel beautiful but not look like a completely different person, which she managed to do perfectly.
They really were a pleasure to work with! -

Right from the start, I knew I found the perfect duo for me. After looking through the reviews and exploring their photo gallery on the website, I decided I wanted to reach out and inquire some more about these bubbly and beautiful ladies. After the first conversation, my mind was set. Ana, the main person I was in contact with, was extremely personable, professional, and responsive. She asked if texting was ok, and we texted and had several phone calls throughout the process. The team talked about my ideas and helped me figure out all the details for my hair and makeup to make my vision a reality. April and Ana were so excited to work with me and wanted to get our love story because of how much they love LOVE. They shared their personal reasons for why they choose to do weddings and confirmed their absolutely genuine passion for their work. I reached out for an October wedding a little later than I should’ve, but the team was able to accommodate me and was very upfront about the scheduling from the start in a respectful and professional way. The hair and makeup trial was relaxing and fun, and really helped me see my wedding day look. Ana met me outside in the community to discuss lip color options, which I would say is above and beyond her role! Ana even checked in on me the night before the wedding to remind me about breathing and how wonderful everything is going to be, and also followed up about a week later to check in and ask how it all went. April was so flexible and kind. My mother, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids all loved their looks, and I was so relaxed and carefree with them in the bridal suite. I would absolutely recommended these ladies for your big day. -

Wonderful Duo
Ana was extremely responsive and professional while discussing needed services. I felt like I was all over the place with what services that were needed but Ana always stayed on top of it and helped me by staying organized. Both Ana and April were very personable and we enjoyed having them involved in our big day. I loved my makeup done by Ana for the wedding and received so many compliments. As the bride that is so so important. April did every bridesmaids hair in a very timely manner and they all looked amazing! I rarely ever write reviews, but I used perfectly posh hair and makeup this past week and cannot say enough good things about them! Ana and April were both awesome. Communication was easy and my hair and makeup turned out perfect. I had a 10am wedding and they both got up early to meet me at 645am to ensure everything was ready in time. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for hair and make up around Raleigh. -

Exceptional
From the initial consultation, from the emails back and forth for them to get an idea of what we would be asking them to accomplish, to them arriving exactly on time to our hotel and then arriving at the venue ready for the task of making my daughters day as memorable as it was, to them packing up after their job was completed it could not have gone more smoothly. They listened and carried out to perfection the visions that my daughters and myself had.

Ana and her team are exceptional. What I was struck by most was how well she and her team listened to my and my bridesmaids requests. She was flexible about the timing of the hair and makeup trial (which her and her hair stylist Katie crushed!) and about the timing of the day (since I wanted to run the morning of the wedding. Every single one of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and everyone looked like themselves - the hair and makeup matched their style. We were on time and everyone's hair and makeup lasted all night! They brought a warm, relaxed energy to the whole process and to the day itself. I can't recommend them enough! -

Over all, I was happy with the hair and makeup services I received, particularly the makeup. Ana contacted the bridal party ahead of time to survey us on our normal makeup and hair routine, colors, complexion, etc.
I was very pleased with how my makeup turned out. It was a very reasonable price ($65) and held the entire day. The hair was a bit pricey for what I got, and while it looked good in the front, I didn’t realize til after the ceremony that my updo looked messy instead of formal, which is what I expected for $120.Perfectly Posh Hair and Makeup's reply:

Thank you so much for your kind words and and for your feedback. There seems to have been a misunderstanding however, particularly with regard to the price.
The makeup was 100; 75 for the application and 25 for lashes (15 for lashes and 10 for application). The hair was 75.
As I know the deposit was payed in advance and the invoice and contract signed on everyone's behalf, I know you couldn't have known the prices, so I just thought I would clarify in the interest of transparency and honesty. If you'd like I'd be happy to send you a copy of the signed invoice which states the price.
With that being said, we greatly appreciate your taking the time provide us this feedback. -
