A True Cinderella Story

I had the pleasure of watching Enoch work his magic not once, but twice! He originally planned my sister's wedding and after seeing how perfect her day came out to be, I automatically knew I wanted, no, I NEEDED him for my big day. When initially speaking with him, knowing this may be a challenge, I mentioned to him that I wanted to get married on a neighboring island of Kauai- I wanted to get married on Oahu, in the same church my parents married in. Without any hesitation, Enoch said "not a problem". We had monthly meetings throughout the planning process, and then weekly meetings a couple months before the big day. We only had to mention our wedding budget once to Enoch and he kept it in mind throughout the whole time. He even had to remind me once I started going planning crazy! My "bridezilla" moments were kept to a minimum and extinguished fast because of Enoch. Any and all issues that came before him, he handled with calmness and professionalism. From the planning, to the decor, and to the wedding day itself, everything was absolutely flawless and magical. A true storybook wedding. Enoch is truly amazing at what he does. His love and dedication to his craft shines through in every event and wedding he creates. I couldn't imagine my wedding without Enoch and his crew. They are absolute miracle workers.

Beautiful and seamless!

My wife and I had a vow renewal service with eight guests on October 18, 2018. Everything was absolutely perfect! Not only was the site beautiful, but the music, the photographer, and the officiant were all first class. And right there was the owner, Enoch A’ana and his assistant, making sure all went as planned. You will be very pleased if you use this company as we are. (FYI, our site, the Luau Garden at the Marriott property in Lihue, was perfect for the service and the pictures afterwards.)

I had the best experience with Enoch and Pele's Wedding & Events! Living in Michigan, it was hard to put the control in someone else's hands, but Enoch was always so helpful with my wedding vision and everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. He was so hands on and helpful with every single detail, and even helped me to put together a special ceremony for my mom the day before the wedding. She had passed on the prior year, and I so wanted her to be with me on my wedding day. Hawaii was always a special place for us. My mom's ceremony was awesome, and the Hawaiian ceremony and calling to the Gods/spirits, made me feel like she was right there with us!
The day of the wedding called for rain, and we almost had to move the ceremony inside, but Enoch said we should wait it out, and he was so right! It turned out to be a perfect day and ceremony, and I am so glad I opted for the traditional Hawaiian ceremony as it was so magical and moving! And, even while we were on a fairly tight budget, Enoch figured out a way to make the decor so beautiful. From the wedding arch to every single detail at the reception! The food was amazing as well! My husband and I will never forget this time in Hawaii, and definitely want to go back! Thank you so much Enoch and team! You are the best!

My son and his new wife were married on the beach of the Kuaui Marriott, coordinated by Enoch, this past weekend and it was perfect! Enoch is a complete pleasure, so detail oriented, and very responsive to my multiple emails and calming to a nervous mom! He is the absolute best and you can have complete confidence in him!!

I probably sent 2-3 emails per week to Enoch, and not only did he respond within minutes, he remembered it all, stored every picture, every idea, and created my entire vision better than I pictured it. He took all my details and created the best day of our lives!

Every conversation, his timing -impeccable- and professional and very transparent about pricing and the cost of how much every little extra I "needed" would be. I ordered 12 lanterns as part of the decor and he built each one himself so that he knew they would be perfect! He is very hands on and did not want me lifting a finger the second we arrived in Kauai (we live in California). Planning a destination wedding, without ever having been to the venue or resort was a little terrifying, but with Enoch and Nathan by my side, I could breathe. IF there is ONE person that cares more about your wedding than you, it is Enoch! He forever has a part of my heart for the way he took care of me and made me feel like the most special bride in the world! He made me a better woman!

I have so much appreciation for Enoch and Nathan. They were my support, my encouragement, my motivation, the reason my smile was SO big - The set up, the decor, the lighting, ambiance, timing, bustling my dress, fixing my veil (as its flying off in the wind on my walk to the aisle haha), the speech he gave to our bridal party ;) - he takes your day very serious and he will do absolutely anything for his brides. Leaving for our honeymoon, I was in tears hugging Enoch goodbye. To Enoch and Nathan, I will forever have stars in my eyes when I think of May 6th and that is thanks to you <3

Nicole at Pele's Wedding and Events did an amazing job putting together our wedding. We live in the midwest and Nicole helped us plan our destination wedding remotely. She took all of our ideas (and Pinterest pictures) turned them into reality. She did a wonderful job of coordinating all of the vendors and kept everything running smoothly on the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend Pele's Wedding and Events to any couples that are interested in getting married on Kauai!

Wow, where do I start?? From the moment I dialed up Pele's Weddings, I reached a woman named Nicole and from there on out my "wedding relationship" with her took off! I felt very comfortable talking with her from our very first phone call. I am from NY so there is a 5 hour time difference between NY and Kauai. And I asked Nicole how she kept her clients organized with all the time changes and she responded with: "I'm German. I was born organized"; and organized she was! Every time we talked we went over more and more details over the course of 5 or 6 months. She was always available to talk! Nicole took care of everything for me. Sight unseen, I felt like I could picture my "wedding day" with my future husband exactly in my head.
When we arrived on the island for our wedding, I was so excited to finally meet Enoch and Nicole for the first time. They went over all the wedding details again and gave us suggestions on what to do on the island. Our wedding was "picture perfect" and went off without a glitch! The location on the beach was beyond peaceful and the weather was just right for picture taking! Kaui, our Priestess, put so much spirit and heart into our wedding. It was magical. We felt swept away by the emotions of Kaui and the ocean waves behind us. Our guests had a great time and really enjoyed listening to the musician during the open bar Pele's set up on the beach before our reception dinner.
I really developed a special bond with Nicole and I will really miss talking to her! My husband I have been happily married one week now! If you are looking to plan a wedding on Kaua'i, I highly recommend using Pele's Wedding and Events! You will be super happy you did :)

Enoch is an incredible wedding coordinator and designer. It's two months later and I'm still thinking about how everything went so perfectly. He really gets to know your style and helps you narrow down exactly what you want. Whatever your style is, Enoch will make it happen and beyond your expectations. All flowers for the wedding party and centerpieces were absolutely perfect and better than I ever imagined.

I know how great his staff is, but it was wonderful to hear from so many guests how wonderful they were too. Anytime I spoke with Enoch during the day, he was always so calm. Having a wedding coordinator is crucial for many reasons, including having great communication all around (whether it was with me or all the guests) and to make sure your event is on schedule. He knows the best vendors - I couldn't be happier with so many people involved such as the photographer, DJ, and officiant! I can go on and on about all the little details that made the day go so smoothly for me... anything from Nicole finding dental floss for me while I was getting my hair done, to Enoch being able to tighten the whole corset of my wedding dress at the reception (seriously I didn't have to think about it again the rest of the night)... they have it down! Our wedding at Kauai Marriott was perfect! Nicole was amazing, very helpful from the beginning till the end - she even drove us to Macy's so we could shop for clothes when the airlines lost our luggage! The venue was amazing, the officiant was great, the flowers, music, cake and champagne were perfect! Highly recommend using Pele's wedding & events! Very easy to work with and everything was taken care of for us.

WE LOVE ENOCH! After working with him on our wedding, he really feels like part of our family now. He will work tirelessly to make your vision happen and is totally straightforward about everything. From the minute I contacted Nicole she made everything easy and reduced all of my stress in getting it set up. With Nicole and Peter everything ran smoothly. Enoch and his staff at Pele's Wedding and Events went above and beyond for our wedding event held at the Kaua'i Marriott Resort and Beach Club. His work and final product showed us how important it is to have not only a wedding and event planner, but one who isn't satisfied until everything is guaranteed to be perfect on your special day. Look no further - Enoch is THE planner for your event.

The entire process with Enoch was painless - booking the date, finding and managing vendors, decor, food tasting, communication - whatever it was, Enoch made sure that all of these things were taken care of in a timely manner. Our stress levels throughout the process were basically non-existent. That's how good Enoch and his team are at planning the perfect event. When we were able to see the final result of months of planning as we walked into the ballroom for our reception, it was like our vision -- our dream -- had become reality.

What stood out to us was Enoch's creative and professional insight for our wedding. He courteously and tactfully suggested alternatives to our schedule and decor that we never considered, and by taking his advice our event was more than we could have ever dreamed of. And when we inevitably fell behind schedule (because what wedding doesn't), his careful planning and efficiency brought us back on time to make sure we were able to enjoy everything that had been prepared for us. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Working with Enoch has not only been a stress-free, exciting, and memorable experience, but it has also been life changing. I unfortunately lost my grandfather fairly close to the wedding date, and Enoch without question stepped in as a shoulder to cry on. He is so much more than simply a wedding coordinator to both Travus and I. Through this I have learned what a generous, kind hearted, professional, and loving man he is, and that extends to all of Pele's Wedding and Events, including Nikki.

We met with Enoch in person once, and from then on he understood the direction that we wanted for our wedding. He was able to coordinate with us over seas in TX seamlessly. I trusted in him so much that I didn't question anything that he recommended. His eye for romance is unlike any other. He was able to build our dream wedding and set the ambiance of the reception all while staying within our budget and that was a very important aspect of his skills.

With every wedding, issues will arise whether it is delivery of flowers, difficulty with vendors, or an unruly groom's party! However, they were all handled so quickly and efficiently that I was not even aware of them until after the wedding. Not one ounce of stress was ever conveyed on our special day. He greeted us at each part of the day with a beautiful smile, encouraging words, and a prompt update on the timeline!

Thank you to all of Pele's Wedding and Events. You all are incredibly amazing, talented, and such wonderful people. We are so blessed to have you involved in the planning of the best day of our lives; it by far exceeded our expectations, Aloha.

Nathan went way above and beyond what I expected for our wedding day. During the whole process up to our day, he was very attentive and worked with me due to the time difference (HST vs CST). When it came down to the details, he remembered some of my comments about my theme and made sure it flowed throughout the whole day. He matched my colors and I LOVED the added bubbles. He knew I was in a tight budget but he worked with me and gave me the most beautiful day ever. I highly recommend Pele's Wedding & Events for anyone looking for a Hawaii wedding, and especially if you're concerned without the face-to-face interaction.

I've waited way too long to leave a review! I was married in May of 2014 and my husband and I, along with our guests, still talk about our Hawaii wedding as if it was just yesterday. My husband and I are from two different states and did not want to deal with the traditional wedding tasks that comes with a big wedding. It was a no brainer that we decided on a destination wedding. Neither one of us had ever been to Hawaii and thought why not. I started researching places in Hawaii in July of 2013. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pele's Wedding & Events (Specifically, Lora Tobias). Our wedding honestly went perfectly, and I owe so much of that to Lora and her team at Pele's. All throughout the planning process, Lora was extremely responsive, professional, and had excellent attention to detail -- she made our whole experience so easy and stress free. Lora went above and beyond to make sure that she could accommodate all of our requests. The day of the wedding, Lora and her colleague were so attentive, the entire day/evening went so smoothly, without incident. Additionally, Lora was so kind to me, my husband, and to all of our family and guests. I absolutely would recommend Pele's to anyone wanting to get married on the Big Island. Nathan and Laura gave me my dream wedding. Every single thing I asked for was bigger, better, and more beautiful than I expected. My bouquet was two feet long by 1.5 feet wide. It was nicer than royal princesses carry.

My cake was to die for delicious (carrot and red velvet).

Laura was the best lady-in-waiting ever, and I just adore her. Nathan coordinated my hair stylist, manicurist, and makeup artist (the most lovely women ever). Don't do those things yourself; you need to let Nathan coordinate that. Spend for it and you'll be happy.

Our minister, Reverend Terry, was perfect. Vows she offered, perfect. Our guitarist/singer, Dwayne, was wonderful. Our table at the restaurant was so perfectly set, and since we upgraded our cake to the two-layer, we were able to offer everyone in the restaurant wedding cake for dessert.

I highly recommend upgrading from the base package. I think we ended up spending $4700 for the wedding (just my groom and me, plus two attendants), but it was so well worth it. Be sure to request the arch on the beach with flowers and scarves. Beautiful.

Nathan and Laura made my wedding so perfect that I just want to relive it over and over.

Of note: Might want to be open-minded to the photography options offered. I have a beautiful slideshow, but it took some doing. I do not leave negative reviews, so I'm not mentioning my photographer. All turned out well in the end. Just maybe investigate all the partner photographers and call them or ask questions to coordinate and make a decision.

If I could rate Enoch's wedding services as a 10, I would rate him a 20. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful when you don't really know what to expect. But through all the email and phone communications, Enoch reassured us it would be a beautiful day. He didn't disappoint us in any way. From the rehearsal to end of reception. Every location was beautiful. We were married by the cove and had the reception at Puna Court. The guitarist, DJ and lighting was a perfect choice for my crazy family. Enoch also promised us no rain and he fulfilled that promise too:). He truly planned and executed everything to the T. I had my wedding at the Waikoloa Marriott Beach Resort on Wednesday, March 4th. Everything about it was perfect!

Working with Nathan was a breeze. He was very easy going and flexible. He didn't pressure me into upgrading anything, but made a few very good suggestions that would help set the ambiance. He was on top of everything. After speaking with him the first time I felt all of the stress of planning a wedding disappear! I knew I was in good hands. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

It rained the day of the wedding, which caused the site to change and the Luau Reception to be moved indoors. Luckily it was not a big deal. They moved the ceremony to a beautiful terrace and the Luau was still SUPER fun! I was SO thankful that I had Nathan on my team to coordinate everything. He was so reassuring that everything was going to be perfect despite the changes (which is exactly what I needed to hear).

All in all, my wedding was perfect, and I owe it all to Nathan at Pele's Weddings. I would HIGHLY recommend using this vendor to anyone planning a destination wedding in Hawaii.

How can one improve on perfection? From planning the ceremony, providing the minister, music, photography, flowers and dinner, Enoch and those with whom he contracted were exceptional. They graciously accommodated special requests, such as a dairy free menu and a plumeria flower bouquet and even put us on contact with someone who carefully pressed our silk wedding attire. Thank you, Enoch, for helping us to have our special day flow seamlessly.

My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at the Marriott Kalapaki Beach Resort on Kauai and we wanted to have a wedding vow renewal ceremony on our anniversary so we contacted Enoch to help plan this. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the over the top service provided by Enoch. He walked us through the garden location for the ceremony putting at ease with all the details for the ceremony, photos and videography. My wife was very pleased when Enoch delivered flowers for her hair to the salon so the stylist could put them in her hair. We were very, very happy with the private dinner; the decor, flowers and superb service from the private butler was awesome! We couldn't have asked for more. We were married at the Mariott Kauai Beach Club on September 20. From the moment I contacted Enoch to the ceremony itself, his service and professionalism put me at ease making arrangements long distance. The ceremony on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The minister was amazing, along with the photographer and guitarist made it so special. Our dinner in the private gazebo was exceptional - both the food and the server were top-notch. We wanted to plan a surprise 40th anniversary vow renewal and dinner for our friends while visiting Kauai. I found Enoch through our resort, and the minute we spoke on the phone, our vision became singular! He had two different vow renewal packages we could select from, and every detail was executed to perfection. Enoch is the most polite, professional, kind, loving, patient, and TALENTED man we've come to know! On the evening of the renewal, we walked down the path to the beach where the ceremony was going to be performed. We could hear the voice of an angel singing the Hawaiian Love Song...when we finally got there, the singer was Enoch himself! We were blown away by his vocal talent! There was a wonderful guitarist who sang high harmony against Enoch's melody, and the most gracious minister. Our friends didn't understand what was happening until Enoch told them...they were stunned! They were given beautiful Hawaiian wedding lei's, repeated their vows, and the minister blessed them. Right behind us, the ocean lapped at the sand, and three white sailboats appeared out of no where and floated across the bay! We then went to a private, Roman columned gazebo, situated 20 feet above the pool, where the walkway was decorated with huge, lit, pillar candles, vases of white willows, a cream silk raised-rosette table cloth with fine china, stemware, and flatware, and a stunning centerpiece of red roses and bird of paradise. We had a private butler/waiter, champagne, and a 5 course gourmet dinner as the sun set. The food was out of this world! Enoch helped us present a surprise video montage on his personal laptop from our friends' children...all giving a tribute to their parents. Once back at our room, white and dark chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne, and a card of congratulations from Enoch awaited them! It was the most perfect evening, and a memory that will last a lifetime. Enoch is the only specialist we would ever use! WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE HIM AS WELL!!!

My son and daughter in law used Pele's services for their wedding, the rehearsal dinner and a welcome party. I can't say enough positive things about Enoch, Andrea, Theresa, and Shanita. They are basically good, honest people and lots of fun to work with. They really wanted to do what they could to make us happy. Every time we contacted them, they returned our call or email that day or the following day. The flowers they provided, leis and centerpieces were fabulous. There was a little glitch with the bouquets for the photographs, but it was worked out. The guitarists were wonderful, the hula dancers were breathtaking, the lighting was lovely, and Enoch and Shanita singing was the highlight of the wedding. I can't recommend Pele's services highly enough.

I cannot express enough, the satisfaction and experience I had with Enoch. Himself and the staff of the Marriott went above and beyond my expectations for our special day. From the elegant table setting for our romantic gazebo dinner, to the beautiful voice of Enoch himself singing the Hawaiian wedding song, every detail was taken care of with utmost professionalism.
We had a slight miscommunication with the Florist and Enoch made it right in record time! He continually surprised us with details that I had not even thought of. He even went out of his way to make my parents 10th Wedding anniversary a special and memorable day for them as well by surprising them with a serenade a local restaurant.
Planning a destination wedding can be extremely stressful, however, I arrived in Kauai and all of my anxiety was diminished when I saw how smoothly he executed every detail.
I highly recommend Pele's Wedding and Events and the Kauai Marriott Resort for your special day!
Our wedding week was truly like a dream thanks to Enoch and the staff at the Marriott resort!

I was scared of the thought of even planning a wedding. I ended up driving out to Waikoloa Beach Marriott just to see how much it is to rent just a location for a ceremony. (I haven't even heard about Pele's weddings and events.) One of the front desk assistants called Enoch out to see me and he showed me All the packages they had. It is affordable and really great deals, from providing a minister and guitarist, to giving you options of a outdoor wedding site. And the best thing, YOU DONT DO ANYTHING!!!!! they do everything for you, from setting up to breaking down. I had to go with them. I am expecting and I didn't want any stress what so ever and I didn't have any!! they took care of everything. I love them and I am truly happy I chose them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Enoch and his team did an absolutely amazing job for my sister-in-law's wedding. He went above and beyond in every way. They had a beautiful ceremony at their private beach and a reception dinner to follow. He planned everything to a tee so that there were no hiccups on wedding day. What I loved most about him was the attention to detail he gave to every aspect of the wedding. He placed ice water at the ceremony so that waiting guests wouldn't be thirsty, he remembered the bride's feelings about the various flowers and put together leis and bouquets that matched perfectly with their wishes, he arranged for a wheelchair because he knew we had an elderly guest attending (and ensured that she had a shady spot to wait for the wedding to start), and he even assisted the musician! He was on site for every moment of the wedding to ensure that things went smoothly. He cares so much about making his couples feel special and we could all tell how important his job is to him. By the end we almost felt like he was family since he was such a big part of this step. He has a very bright future in his business and any couple would be very lucky to have a wedding planner that takes as much care as he does with all of the arrangements. You could not ask for a better person in this role. He's very highly recommended by our whole family.

Enoch did a great job with coordinating our son's wedding. Enoch and his staff did a great job of listening to the bride and groom to create special flower arrangements and table settings. Enoch and his staff were absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend them! We were looking for a destination small wedding location,and after looking at several locations we decided to go back to the Big Island of Hawaii to the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort. We had visited the island and stayed at the resort several years earlier…I did not want to try something new for such a special day. After reviewing Pele's Wedding and Events reviews and talking to Enoch by email and phone, I was sold. The available package deals were perfect for us and simplified all planning, particularly since we live on the east coast. The vendors used by Enoch in the packages were great, Reverend Terry Herbert and Chris from Kohalafoto, both professional, responsive and flexible. We ended up pushing our ceremony time later the day before and all agreed easily!

Back to Enoch…while there were a few glitches with Marriott, Enoch went above and beyond to correct anything. After traveling over 16 hours and arriving at the Marriott at 1030pm, they did not have the correct room for us that we had contracted for. After getting situated in our room, I sent Enoch an email at midnight about the problem, I woke the next morning to find he had responded at 3am and wanted to meet at 9am. What a wonderful man…we met and discussed the problem which he was already attempting to resolve and went over finalizing wedding day plans. We had afternoon and evening plans scheduled, so when we returned to the hotel that night, Enoch had our luggage moved for us to the correct room accommodations and provided a wonderful wine and cheese platter..with an apology note, that is service! The flowers and cake turned out lovely…and he sings beautifully accompanied by the acoustic guitarist provided in the package. I asked for a special song for the ceremony and they learned it and performed it perfectly! We highly recommend Enoch, his staff and vendors for your special wedding day!

Thank you to Nikki and Enoch. Jason and I were married at the Marriott this last July. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for your flexibility and meeting all of our needs. The ceremony was perfect. I loved everything about the ceremony especially Terri and our guitar player. The guitar player played the entire time even through our 500+ family pictures. The pictures of the two wedding locations do not do it justice. Make sure to look through all the local photographers websites in order to see how lovely both sites are. My wedding party of 20 people were able to sit comfortable on the beach under the tree facing away from the sun. Last minute Nikki and Enoch were able to locate a wedding arch for me as well. Thanks for going out of your way to help my wedding become the dream wedding I always wanted!

I met with Enoch from Pele's Wedding and Events for specialty linen and chair covers a few months before my wedding. After meeting and speaking with him, I wish I had knew of this company and the services they provide earlier in my wedding planning process because I would have hired them to take care of everything. I had already hired a florist through the hotel I was getting married at but after seeing some of Enoch's floral arrangments, I kept my original florist for the ceremony site and hired Enoch to do my reception venue. I am so glad I did because it was breathtaking, so gorgeous and he did more then I expected. The linen for the headtable and the chair covers/sashes were beautiful too. Enoch is so easy to talk to, professional and very talented. Thank you so much Enoch! You are amazing at what you do!

My husband and I found Nikki on the internet and didn't really know what to expect. We didn't prepare much, because it was just the two of us and that is all we needed...:). Nikki arranged flowers in my hair, flowers to hold and our official wedding camera's were our cell phone. Nikki Akiona went above and beyond being a wedding planner. She was very prompt and more than helpful with every question or concern I had. She was very good with thinking out of the box and helping me when not even asked too. Per Ex. I sent a box of wedding supplies to her, and she took them to her home to keep them safe- and inspected everything... a hanger was broken and she glued it and painted the cracks the same color- I was so surprised because I would have assumed I would have had to do that once I got there.

She is also very creative, and any pinterest picture I sent her or idea I would tell her- she helped make it happen!

She made planning a destination wedding fun and way less stressful then I could imagine it being with out her.

All our friends and family were there for a week, and she helped out with activites for us to do within the week. She also planned a beautiful decor surprise rehearsal dinner for us! Everyone from my future father in law, mother, and all my family members thought Nikki was the sweetest thing! She was so friendly with everyone!

I hear all these stories of crazy things happening on friends wedding days, and I can't think of one crazy thing-- so thankful for Nikki- could not imagine it without her- and a huge thanks for making the best day of mine and Michael's life so perfect!

We could have not asked for a better wedding. Everything was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT. At first I thought it was going to be difficult planning a wedding on a different island and with my significant other deployed, but Nikki handled everything from the lighting, DJ, location, food, decor, EVERYTHING- seamlessly! She is truly wonderful and brilliant- always coming up with great ideas, but always coming from what you want and how you want it to look. She is great with responding promptly, and with the answers to all of your questions! From planning, to the wedding day, she is there to calm your nerves and makes sure everything runs smoothly and how it is supposed to.
Seriously, if you are looking to do a destination wedding, or live in Hawaii, Pele's is the vendor to book. Hands down top to bottom, we wouldn't change a single detail of how our special day turned out :)

Our daughters wedding turned out to be an absolute dream. Nikki did an incredible job from start to finish in helping us co-ordinate a beautiful destination wedding. She was on top of every email comment and question we had. Her suggestions benefited to the success of the day. It was so fun to finally meet her and have her walk us through each detail. She kept us all on schedule. Everything she arranged for us turned out perfect- hair, makeup, flowers and cake. The pastor was great and shared the ceremony with the father of the bride. The setting of the wedding was spectacular. Nikki added a lovely touch with flower petals in the shape of a heart on the spot where the bride and groom stood. She and the hotel staff treated us so kindly. The bridal party and our guests all experienced a wonderful time!!!

Enoch kept everything going all night and everyone had a good time. I didn't even mention the awesome song he sang us. It is still in mind. All in all it was the best decision in my life trusting this special day to Enoch and Pele's Weddings. I am starting to cry again!

Enoch and his crew were amazing!! We did a private wedding at a beautiful ranch. Enoch did anything and everything for us. We didn't have to worry about anything! We gave him our ideas we wanted and he worked very hard to make it exact. Enoch and his assistants are very easy to work with and they were only a call away if we had any questions. The day of our wedding we felt like we were on a David Tutera! He made us close our eyes until we got to the middle of our dance floor. We then opened our eyes and was speechless on how everything turned out! It was so beautiful!! We were so blessed to have a beautiful wedding. We thank Encoh and his team again for everything! You did amazing work!! Thank you!

We had a high school graduation party for our daughter with 300 plus guests in attendance. Enoch took our vision and transformed it into something that exceeded our expectations! He was flexible in working with what we wanted, incorporating our ideas to make it flow cohesively with the rest of the party theme. The lighting effects were amazing! Some comments we received from our guests were "I thought we were in Hollywood for a big premier!" and "I never thought this venue could ever look this beautiful!" From linen to lighting, table centerpiece decor, a red carpet entry, it was a beautifully elegant production. Our daughter couldn't have been happier.

I have NO complaints! Our wedding was amazing, and everything kicked off without a hitch! Nikki or wedding coordinator was organized, kind, and on top of everything! I couldn't have been more satisfied with her skills. She help me put our ideas together and I was in Love with the outcome. In addition, this experience was stress free! I am happy to recommend Pele's Wedding and Event to any couple looking for a fun, personal and relaxing wedding event. Your memories will be wonderful!

If I had to sum it up in one word "AMAZING" Enoch did a wonderful job bringing our dream wedding to life! I would HIGHLY reccomend Pele's Wedding & Events for any bride and groom that wants to have someone execute their vision flawlessly without any worry about the outcome. the most professional wedding planner ever! Highly organized, very responsive and absolutely fulfilled all of my requests - all that via email and a couple of phone calls. Enoch did an amazing job putting everything together for our wedding. I was nervous to be planning from afar, but those nerves were settled every time I spoke to Enoch. He works with amazing people and companies to ensure that everything goes smoothly - from getting my dress shipped/pressed to the DJ to the florist to the decorations. It was so great to finally meet Enoch when we arrived after having so many phone conversations. He is amazingly friendly and put us at ease right away.
You might notice how many times I've used the word amazing, because it's the one that was repeatedly used by me, Matt, and our guests the day of the wedding. The ceremony was perfect (I'm convinced Enoch played a hand in the wonderful weather we had!), the locations of the ceremony and reception were breath-taking, and the reception itself was the most fun we've ever had at a party. Pele's Wedding & Events was the best

Ellie in particular did a FANTASTIC job coordinating our special day right down to the Luau, Photographer, Flowers and even gifts for the attendees We planned this all over the phone up until the big day and there was nothing left to do. We are from San Diego ( Carlsbad, Ca. ) and to trust someone else to plan your wedding takes TRUST and that we had with Ellie at Pele's

When I started this adventure, I really didn't want a wedding. I was complacent with eloping. It was my fiancé, now husband, who wanted a wedding with pictures. A destination wedding was our compromise. We dealt with a lot of drama with our wedding being so far away from home. The drama had cast a pretty dark cloud over our special day. I wasn’t too invested in what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives. Enoch was great about fielding all of our phone calls and emails. He was always prompt in his response which gave us confidence. However, it was still hard being so far away.

It wasn’t until my Mom made it to Hawaii two weeks before my wedding and met Enoch that everything started to change. She was flabbergasted by the pictures of his work. I still wasn’t quite on board. I met Enoch for the first time the Friday before my Tuesday wedding. He gave me a big hug and showed me around the resort. He made me feel comfortable and was the first person who was able to actually get me excited about my big day. He showed me so many beautiful decorations he was going to use for our reception and worked with my Mom to decorate the chairs on the aisle. He not only took over for my Mom, but he improved every single idea she had. Enoch is a wedding genius.

On the day of my wedding, everything literally went perfectly. Our location was simply amazing. Enoch has orchids lining our aisle overlooking the most beautiful view. When Enoch walked us in to see our table, I was near tears. He went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. He took my colors and the few suggestions I had and exceeded every expectation. Never in a million years would I have been able to create or even think up such a beautiful design. If you want to get married in Hawaii, Enoch is your guy. He worked within our budget and somehow made a day which was once full of drama in to the most magical day of my life.

Enoch and his team are wonderful. They helped us plan our wedding from Ohio. Enoch was very easy to talk to and understood what we wanted and needed. He took snapshots of inspiration photos and designed our dream wedding. On the day of the wedding there were a couple unforeseen issues that they handled with ease and grace. They allowed us to continue to enjoy the wedding while coming up with solutions. They made it a stress free and fun experience. We highly recommend Pele's Weddings and Events.

Best wedding coordinator

I recommend Enoch 100% As our wedding coordinator, he was very accommodating, very professional, organized and easy to work with. His expertise in planning is absolutely incredible and his level of professionalism is a top notch. He has incredible vision and ability to make our dream wedding into reality. We had a memorably beautiful wedding and reception. Our friends and families have told us it was one of the best wedding they have ever attended. Lemuel and I couldn't thank Enoch enough for making our wedding a very successful one and creating amazing memories that we will always cherish.

Our wedding day was perfect and we were so happy to have Enoch be the brains behind the operation at the Kauai Marriott Resort. The day was better than expected as was the resort! Simply amazing. The ceremony, photography, videography, and food was simply amazing! Our 50 guests loved our destination as much as we did!

Along the way I had sent e-mails that were not responded to and initially we were not allowed to book our wedding for 12 weeks after we expressed interest. In the mean time the catering menu prices went up $40 per plate. We negotiated the old prices but on the day of the wedding the new prices were being charged at the bar and guests were being given mixed drinks on the "open tab" that we set up which was only supposed to include beer and wine. So these were little yet costly details.

Stay away!

STAY AWAY. We booked Enoch in 2020 for our September wedding, and I even made him include verbiage about Covid-19 in our contract. In the event that Hawaii extended their travel ban, we would receive our deposit back. Well, the ban was extended and we had to cancel, and he STOLE our money. He first gave us some sob story about needing the money (which we didn’t fall for), and after reminding him that he broke a LEGAL CONTRACT, he has continued to ghost us for over a year now. Still waiting on our $2k that will never come.

**complaint**

We would advise anyone looking for a wedding planner NOT to use this one! We hired Pele’s Wedding and Events, through the Kauai Marriott, to provide a wedding ceremony for our daughter. We were required to pay a $2,000 deposit in June of 2020 for her wedding in July, 2021. Due to medical reasons and hardship, Enoch A’ana, the owner, said he could not perform his services nor refund our money. We are now left with having to start all over with planning and making putting more money down with another wedding planner. We know that there are several other couples that are in the same predicament. Think twice before considering using this wedding planner.
