Bittler wedding
My wedding day was perfect and everything I dreamed it would be. Laura did a wonderful job as a wedding coordinator. She was very professional, friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The Peak was a fantastic place to have our wedding! We loved that it was able to accommodate everything for the day, from getting ready, picture locations, the ceremony, reception, after party activities and lodging! They were very responsive while working with them to prepare for the big day with my many questions and the food was excellent! The day went to quickly, but everything was perfect!The Peak was a fantastic place to have our wedding! January Wedding 2022
Our wedding planners made the process so easy! I did not want to be responsible for basically any of the planning since I am a teacher and was planning a wedding for the middle of the school year. I was happy to have this package at the peak that allowed me to have all of my events in one spot: ceremony and reception. It also had lodgings for all of my friends and family to stay since many were coming from out of town. The wedding planners kept in touch with me whenever I had questions, they were flexible about my changing guest count, allowed my requests for decorations, snuck me food before the reception after I had been starving all day, and made sure the whole day just flowed smoothly. I never had to stress over a thing. My whole day was wonderful and I could not have asked for a more memorable day with my loved ones.Our wedding planners made the process so easy! The Peak staff members were very accommodating. It was super easy to get ahold of everyone, and they truly made our day so special. In fact, many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Beautiful venue that really brings your wedding up a few notches! The wedding coordinator Kim really makes this! The Peek lived up to our expectations and then beyond! Kim was wonderful to work with she was very helpful throughout the whole wedding process. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our marriage. EVERYONE at The Peak was very helpful and responsive. You don't get much better than Kim, the wedding coordinator. Kim was truly wonderful to work with. She went out of her way to make useful suggestions and was very friendly to work with. She went above and beyond the call of duty by contacting the local news station to have us interviewed because we shared our wedding day with England's Royal Couple.Kim was truly wonderful to work with. Good Value, Good Service, Nice Venue
Our wedding at Peak'n Peek was great. The wedding coordinator was always easy to get in touch with, very responsive, and organized the day itself very well. Some minor issues were that they had one of the larger bathrooms closed for renovations during our night, and the bar actually ran out of several types of drinks a little less than an hour before the end of our reception. The reception hall itself looked great, and Peak'n Peek staff took care of the tables/chairs/cutlery/etc, leaving only the decorations to us.Our wedding at Peak'n Peek was great. The value of the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all in one location is amazing! Plus the staff are super friendly and helpful. There were a couple of minor planning things that came up during the rehearsal, but all was fixed for the ceremony and reception. Adaptability is wonderful by the staff. The Peak was very professional from the moment I inquired about the location through the very last dance of the reception.
The wedding coordinator was very responsive every time I called or sent an email. I would receive a response within 24 hours. However, If I asked three questions in one email I was lucky to get one of them answered in detail and have to follow-up about the other two questions to get them answered.
Additionally, I felt like I had to remind the coordinator of my wedding details and timeline every time we spoke - I didn't stick to the 'typical' wedding format and day-of timeline that other brides use. I did pictures prior to the ceremony, had a sweetheart table in place of a head table, and didn't do as many other formal traditions. Even at the ceremonoy rehearsal, she was reading from our timeline that we discussed, and kept saying incorrect names, times, etc. It was annoying to keep correcting her so everyone didn't get confused.
The ceremony fee, bus shuttle service fee, and catering prices were very reasonable.
As for flexibility they accommodated my request to have buffet stations with multiple meat carving stations, etc. for the meal. I requested a few chairs to be set up to create a comfortable seating area in front of a fireplace near the bar. The coordinator said that it wouldn't be an issue at all, but the day of the wedding there weren't any chairs in front of the fireplace and no mention as to why that was. Also, for some reason a large projection screen was set up in a corner, and that was not part of my reception plan or diagram that we designed together.
The night before the wedding my maid of honor and I decorated the reception area, and had to rearrange four reception tables and all of their chairs because they were placed out of order from my diagram, which would've been a huge deal for seating arrangements and family conflicts.
When I went to get my first drink at the bar during the reception, the bartender was on the phone and asked me to wait a minute. Other guests were waiting to be served, too. The bartender told me that she didn't know how she was charging the drinks for the evening. I reminded her of the contract parameters and worried that she was charging people incorrectly before that.
The arch and votive candles I rented were really nice. Transportation shuttles were continuously running and one was specifically for my wedding party to take photos around the area. I didn't hear any complaints about the food. The mashed potato bar was a huge hit!
Overall, the place is really nice, has great character, the people are nice, and it's a great price for what you get. Great set up for an event or wedding! Love that they have rooms available for everyone that would want to spend the night! 1) Using the Peak N Peek Vendor List to locate and secure Judge. The judge mumbled, complained about his hearing to everyone, and acted as a drunk. It was embarrassing and completely unprofessional.
2) Fire Alarm 20 minutes
3) Fire Alarm 8 minutes
-Guests were confused due to the alarms. 4 Left because of this Two families with hearing disorders, and Teresas (The Brides) supervisor.
-Only maintenance can fix the alarm. Maintenance should be onsite to ensure everything works smoothly.
-Response from the wedding planner at least we know it works alarm that is if it worked properly it wouldnt have false alarmed twice
- How do we know that maintenance didnt just kill the breaker to the alarm to remedy the problem?

- Reminder of the fireplace to be on during reception
- No hors doeuvres were provided to the head table.
- Person in the wedding party had to go to the kitchen to get her meal
- Several people complained that the Pork was dry and the vegetable were not cooked.
- Server dumped a pitcher of water on guests from Greece, and her response was sorry, hope you dont mind She did not offer a cleaning service only walked away.

- Room service card on door for next day
- Room service walking down to the dining room to order
- Plate still outside 26 hours later
Overall, the wedding experience at the Peek was unacceptable, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional.
