Amazing & delicious Catering!
Spectacular catering! Words cannot express how grateful we are for Barbara & her PCS catering team. They were recommend to us by the Photographer & DJ (Seperately) & boy were they right! Barbara went above & beyond to cater to all of our wants & needs. The decor we chose set such a beautiful romatic scene. The food was absolutely delicious & the Cafecito Fountain & Midnight snack (mini angus sliders & milkshakes) were an absolute hit with all our guests. It was an absolute pleasure working together! We had such an amazing & memorable night, because of Barbara & her teamwork with our venue!-

Barbara the owner of PCS Events was very professional and sweet from the first time we spoke regarding my daughter's wedding. My daughter, Briana has a very hectic schedule and so I became her Point of Contact for all things wedding related. From the moment I spoke to Barbara she listened to all of our ideas and knew exactly what my daughter wanted. We schehuled a meeting and it was fabulous moving forward. Barbara is a total professional and hones her craft. The many years she has been in the event planning business surely shined throughout the process. Always providing her guidance as I told her and showed her Briana's vision. She came through for Briana and Andres. She offered not only expert advice but also suggestions and price to match. Big thanks to Barbara and her team at PCS Events! I had to change venues midway through planning given my growing guest list and the summer heat. Their all-inclusive offerings allowed me to make changes and create a better approach. This really put me at ease. I've been married before and can tell you that it was not this easy the first time! Having one go to for the catering, flowers, rentals and planning simplified the entire process and the quality was excellent. My husband and I are very pleased. The guests loved the food and commented on what a beautiful evening it was. THANK YOU! -

Everyone tells us how amazing the food was!
Barbara from PCS Events crushed our wedding! We did all of our catering and rentals and cake and bar services from them and it was beautiful. They did such a great job setting up, and she even got the chargers we wanted special for us! And if there was anything she didn't have, she made sure to help us find it!
Everyone was telling us how amazing the food was. Even including so many things they were one of the most affordable options we could find and did such an exceptional job! 10/10 would recommend :)-

Absolutely incredible!
Barbara at PCS was absolutely fantastic. We could not be more grateful for her help & planning that went into our wedding.
The food was INCREDIBLE - our guests are still talking about how good everything was and most of us had seconds (even thirds). She held a private tasting with us and catered our menu to our likes and the dietary restrictions of many of our guests.
Not only was every detail beautiful (chairs, tables, linens, layout), but Barbara was so easy to work with, friendly, and helped to make our day stress free, even helping to organize a last minute tent when rain was in the forecast. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony or reception.
We couldn’t be happier with Barbara and PCS and highly recommend them! -

Barbara did an amazing job with our January wedding at Vizcaya! She was super helpful in the planning process, quickly responsive to our needs, and adaptive to a last minute cold front. She offers a very comprehensive “one stop shop” experience that takes a ton of pressure off knowing that food, coordinating, decor, cake, etc are all taken care of. She offers a tailored experience to any style or budget and creates beautiful designs. She also did our brunch and rehearsal and did a great job with those too! She was a pleasure to work with for our special day and we would definitely use her services again!-

Great experience, time and time again
PCS Events has done many successful events at my law firm for holiday parties and meetings so when it came time to select a caterer for my wedding, I knew they were the ones to trust. Barbara and her staff were accommodating and flexible throughout the entire process. Our menu was customized, they provided all of the floral details and decor, as well as rentals for the ceremony and reception. They make it easy by taking care of so much and we were able to save in the process. I really appreciate their offering budget-friendly options when our guest increased. The stations were plentiful and delicious. My guests raved about the entrees and variety. Staff was friendly and professional. The DJ kept us dancing all night. A truly wonderful evening! -

Fantastic!!
Barbara was recommended by family after having catered several beautiful events for them. I was really nervous about my wedding, and to be quite honest, Barbara was the fairy godmother that I needed for this wedding ! She told me ,"tell me what you want and I'll make it happen!" She did just that. My wedding was beautiful and rustic, simple and elegant, exactly what I was looking for. The food was AMAZING, oh my goodness. Her food is to die for. Her assistant, Cielo, was another godsend who helped me with mini emergencies during the reception.
If you are searching for a kind, dedicated, and knowledgeable caterer, Barbara is your person. Thank you Barbara for creating this amazing wedding experience for us ! -

Barbara was wonderful. She was able to work with the hotel to get a wedding arch placed on the beach for our Granddaughters wedding Dec. 10. She handled the security personal when they first wouldn't allow her to unload, but once the head of security explained the arch was authorized there was no problem. Her prices are reasonable and her work is beautiful. -

PCS was amazing! I was very nervous planning my wedding becsuse I really didn't know where to start. Barbara and her team made it so easy for us. We hired PCS Events a little over a year before our big day (11/11/17) and they have been wonderful through and through. Barbara and her staff have gone above and beyond our expectations, not only on the day of the wedding, but throughout the entire planning process. Barbara was able to understand our vision, even when we weren't sure what we wanted. She drove over 50 miles to meet us a few times, and was great with responding when we had questions. The venue told us PCS had cleaned everything back to the way they found it at the end of the night, and we didn't have to worry about a thing! I HIGHLY recommend PCS Events to take care of EVERYTHING for a wedding! Thank you Barbara! <3 -Emilie & Scott -

PCS Events put together an all-inclusive package for us that made planning our wedding so easy. They are caterers but offer so many other services that we actually enjoyed the process. I was pleasantly surprised by their food. Delicious! They have tons of linens and stuff to decorate. They even have table numbers. My flowers were beautiful and the cake looked just like the picture I sent. So many companies offer packages but they aren't very flexible. PCS offered so much and at a great value. Her staff is friendly and helpful. We even had our own personal server throughout the night. Can't wait to see the pictures. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts! -

My wedding officiant helped me contract this company to do the ceremony decor for our beach wedding last weekend. Barbara worked out all the details with me over phone and email. They provided us with a beautiful flowered arch, aisle runner with petals, and boutonnieres that fit the Great Gatsby wedding theme perfectly. They even thought of bringing the flowers over to the reception to brighten up the sweetheart table. Thanks! -

The best decision we made was booking with PCS Events. I was so lucky to find them. I never knew there was a company that could handle most of the services we needed for the wedding. Their service was great and pricing too. All I had to do was send pictures of how I wanted my tables, flowers and the ceremony and it was done! We had a tasting where we chose our menu, table settings, and planned out the entire day. They have so many linens. We even got our farm tables and furniture from them. My guest count went up towards the end and I kind of freaked out but we were able to adjust everything so it fit into our budget. They are lifesavers! The food was delicious and they are really organized. We had a server and a day-of coordinator all day. Everything was beautiful! I even cried when I saw my ceremony. Thanks so much to Barbara and her staff. My guests are still telling me how wonderful it was -

Barbara was very patient and thorough during her explanaitons. on the wedding day she was early to set up, and her cateres were amazing. The food was amazing, guest couldnt get enough. Where to begin ? I cannot thank Barbara and her wonderful team enough, for the best day of my life !!!!!!!!!! I came across PCS EVENTS browsing the website lost looking for ideas to plan my wedding.! I called Barbara and from the first conversation, I immediately knew she had a heart of gold. Something clicked!! I was not wrong !! Barbara and her team are the most sweet, genuine, hard working team I have come across . The entire wedding planning was organized, Barbara is open to ideas and helped me through the entire process. They took care of everything ! I gave her a folder full of ideas, and like a pro, she gave me the wedding of my dreams. I changed ideas a few times here and there, they never had a problem to accommodate . Barbara is the best. The day of my wedding, I was in awe, the décor was beautiful, exactly what I asked for, the food was amazing, all of my guests LOVED and talked about the food again and again. Bar drinks ?? No problem!!! MORE THAN ENOUGH. we never felt rushed. Barbara really cares!! and she has the best team, that cares as well. From the time I got to the ceremony, till the very last few minutes, they were on top of everything!!!! SO IMPRESSED!!!! I learned to love them, genuine, because they have a heart of gold. Barbara, I cannot thank you enough. You are amazing not only as a planner, but as a human ... you have a tremendous heart and go beyond and I could not thank you enough. If I had to do it all again, there is NOTHING I would change. NOTHING. because everything was so perfect. I would book with Barbara again, and again. From the bottom of my heart,... I chose a hotel as our wedding venue with the welcome dinner and day of planning handled by PCS events. We had a very large group of 380 guests so I would have absolutely lost my mind if it wasn't for the guidance of PCS. Barbara assigned an assistant to each hotel and handled the set up at the hotel with her crew. It went off without a hitch. The welcome dinner they catered was wonderful. We had signature drinks, fun appetizers and small plates. Our guests loved it. I highly recommend them to any couple. These people care! -

There are no words to describe how happy we are with the PCS staff. They made our day a dream come true. I never expected to find a company that could do it all for us. Barbara and her team are excellent! My husband and I live in New York and I planned a destination wedding in Florida. I As I evaluated wedding vendors I shared a PowerPoint presentation with my wedding vision (theme, color scheme, decor, unique cultural details and budget) then scheduled a call to discuss. The moment I spoke with Barbara I knew she was the one. She was extremely responsive, listened to my ideas and had a "yes we can do it" attitude (she didn't give me a standard proposal like the other vendors), and her quote was the most comprehensive and affordable. She also gave me tips on what will be costly so I can plan accordingly:
As our wedding drew closer, I changed some elements of my color scheme (at the last minute) and she was extremely supportive and made it happen.
She took copious notes during our calls and ensured they were reflected in my invoice and then sent for me to review. So there was always transparency with cost (I was on a tight budget so I reviewed every detail).
In terms of delivering on the promise on my wedding day, she exceeded expectations. She met my complicated demands and high expectations for customer service and flawless execution. She and her staff were also very trustworthy, my valuables and items provide were returned to me.
The before the wedding she assumed her role as wedding coordinator and became more hands on with my vendors to notify them of inclement weather on my wedding day so needed to strategize on a "rain plan". All were responsive and planned ahead except my photobooth vendor. Barbara did her best to accommodate this vend -

PCS Events is the BEST. Barbara and her husband run this business with their hearts and truly care about the bride and groom. When I met them, I instantly felt like they were fully committed to my event, my ideas, and were able to bring my vision to life but while also being considerate of our budget. Barbara was methodical and detail oriented during her planning of our wedding. The food they provided was amazing and all of our guests raved to us about it. They helped in securing the dj, the florists, and pretty much everything. It was an easy choice to go with them and I can't imagine having used someone else. We highly recommend them! It's hard to describe what a pleasure it was to work hands on with Barbara and her staff through out our planning process. She was flexible, professional, and above all others, a true helping hand. I had lots of questions along the way, and she always had answers and advice no matter the situation. When the big day came, everything was perfect and the event itself was a success. I had very little time to plan my wedding. I contacted PCS Events a year before our wedding but have an extremely busy schedule so finding an all inclusive package was wonderful. After booking the date, they allowed us the flexibility of making changes. The office staff addressed all of my questions on etiquette, planning, decorations and my timeline. They made sure all details were addressed. Our tasting was delicious and the food on the day of was equally as good. Our flowers, rentals, ceremony setting, catering, lighting and planning were all provided by PCS. The quality of their service is top notch! I am so happy that I hired them. -

Let’s start with the most important thing. The food was astonishing! I normally have pretty low expectations of bulk food buffet style, they made it great. Amazing considering it was predominantly seafood nothing under/over cooked, on time and a classy presentation. To note: they even made me a plate knowing that the bride doesn’t normally eat (which I was still running around A+.) The decorations we simple and elegant just as requested. The staff was very attentive. Actually I heard several stories afterward on how the bartender was “paying special attention to them.” My mom said it was because she was the “mother of the bride.” My sister said she had a recognizable hair style, and a girl friend said it was because she has a “special type of drink.” In reality, he was just superb at his job and made everyone feel special. They all did. They were organized and on point. -

PCS Events is an amazing company as well how special Barbara and Pasquale Amitrano are. My wife and I are not your typical couple getting married. Joyce and I are 50 and 51 years old. We wanted this one to be over the top. My wife has 7 kids and we wanted them to be the wedding party. We have 4 girls and 3 boys ages 7 to 25 years of age. Barbara and PCS Events managed to not only pull off the perfect wedding but managed to keep my wife from any anxiety, or stress and we were able to just enjoy the night. Barbara is all about the people getting married. We had the entire event at the CRUZ building, it is the most beautiful place to get married. It is a 3 story building and you can rent 1, 2, or 3 floors. We did all three floors which adds complications to Barbara’s normal venue to do list. All the guest were from out of town as well as us. Because this place does not come with any dishes, tables, chairs or drinks, she had to put everything together from the number of tables and chairs to come in and the amount of liquor to stock all three bars. Barbara never once even gave a second thought if we needed to make changes or add things that needed to be handled at the last minute. My wife and I really wanted that once in a life time event with all the memories. When they served all our guests it was as if it was made to order and was fantastic. The food was over the top and we had more than enough. We hired a photographer, videographer, wedding musician, officiant, florist, pastry chef, photo booth, dj, valet & 2 10' robots and she coordinated all of them. 2 days before the wedding my mother was unable to attend because of illness, she was able to get high speed internet and a live video feed for our venue so my parents were able to view from home on the computer. Once upon a time, the bride was anxious and worried about her plight; calling and emailing event planners throughout the night. I had an amazing experience working with Barbara of PCS Catering & Events. From the onset of our first discussion I could tell that she was not only professional but very experienced and could provide me with what I was looking for and more. She was very prompt in providing me package options and quotes for both catering and equipment rental. Barbara maintained effective communication with me throughout the planning of my wedding which was done in 2.5 months through emails, phone calls and text messages.
The best thing about Barbara and PCS is their flexibility and reasonable pricing. They can provide you with what you want based on your own needs. Being that she has done multiple events with Vizcaya (site for ceremony and reception) I took comfort in knowing she could navigate through the facility with ease while also complying with the venues strict rules.
I was really pleased with the quality of her rental equipment and the presentation of our table setting. The food was so delicious that our guest went for seconds. Her staff was also professional, courteous and accommodating. I personally witnessed her servers offering appetizers and drinks to my guest.
I highly recommend this company to anyone, they are phenomenal. -

If I could cater all my house parties PCS events would be the catering company I would use! My husband and I were incredibly happy with the services we received for our wedding in June. Before the wedding Barbara (PCS event owner) was always available to answer any questions we had and helped in the planning of the big day since she was also my day of planner (great service to have). The day of the wedding she kept everything moving smoothly even with the rain. I had made about 30 yarn balls over 4 days for the outside ceremony which turned into mush from the rain and all the PCS team members came out and helped get the balls out of the tree’s so that it did not ruin the day, THANK YOU GUYS! The food was amazing! It’s been a month and half and I still have people commenting about the steak which was the best steak I have had in a while, even better than the husbands (still love ya though babe). If you are looking for great quality and price you really must use PCS events.

Barbara and her staff were amazing from start to finish. I had been searching for months for a caterer and after calling her I was done searching. She was responsive, very organized and professional. Before booking PCS we went to several all inclusive caterers and we were off-put by they're lack of flexibility with their packages. Barbara is a MUST HAVE as far as wedding vendors go. She has a can do attitude and flexibility that puts your mind at ease and doesn't bat at an eye at last minute changes. She also employed an a la carte approach to booking what we needed which was great for us because we wanted to buy our own alcohol and wanted a Publix wedding cake and flowers from a particular vendor. She made the wedding planning process go far smoother than I thought it could. She even worked with the vendors we booked outside of PCS. She is beyond organized and has developed connections with many reputable vendors that can provide all manner of services for your particular event. For our wedding, she helped us book a coffee cart that was a hit. She also made recommendations for table layouts and other such details and guided us through the whole process. She even came to my in-laws house for our rehearsal. We always felt that we could go to her for anything and we knew she'd get it done. We had multiple small details (and one large hiccup) that could have posed complications during our wedding but instead she handled them with grace. For instance, we had several lawn games and at the last minute one of them didn't have a place to be set up and she helped us empty a table during our wedding to use it for the jumbo jenga. The food at PCS is very good. The variety and quality is more than we expected for "wedding food." And again, Barbara went above and beyond and altered recipes to accommodate the needs of a few of our guests with nut allergies. Her staff worked seamlessly throughout the event. If you choose to book PCS, you won't regret it. I definitely recommend them and would be happy to work with them again in the future. -

Barbara and her team are amazing! From our first meeting I knew I was going to use Barbara as my wedding planner, her attention to detail, her taste and her willingness to give me everything that I wanted won me over!
She was always available and helpful!
She made our wedding day unforgettable, our guests did nothing more than praise everything; the FOOD and the CAKE were to die for!!!! The decorations were exactly what I had asked her for, she went beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, I gave her quite a lot of work with assigned seating of each guests, and she managed to have it all exactly as I had asked her! The ceremony decor was beautiful!
She also provided me with a violinist ( Belinda, she is amazing) and DJ.
My family and all of the guest love Barbara and her staff! They were all friendly and helpful and not a moment went by that my guests were not taken care of.
I highly recommend Barbara, and any other major event I have I plan on using her! -

Barbara & Pasqual, along with the team at PCS were tremendous to work with. Our wedding was at a hotel which provided ceremony/reception space and catered food and drinks. We chose PCS to manage all the additional details - including lighting, sound equipment for the outdoor ceremony, chargers, centerpieces, decorations, and most importantly, setup. For our wedding, we made the centerpieces (each one was unique and delicate) and we provided favors, menus, etc. The PCS staff were responsible for transporting the centerpieces and handling all setup/tear down of all our additional items. When we started planning the wedding, Barbara was very responsive to any request or idea, and really helped us think through each and every detail to ensure that the event went flawlessly. We didn't hire a wedding planner - but in many ways Barbara filled that role for us by ensuring we covered all the details that needed to be addressed. During the event, the PCS staff managed everything very well. Things were done smoothly and seamlessly. Brenda acted as a day-of coordinator - prompting us to start/end different stages of the event, and managing all details with the hotel staff - even though that went above and beyond her job. Overall, I would highly recommend working with PCS, and would be happy to hire them again for any upcoming event. -

There are not enough good things that I could say about PCS Event Productions. From day 1 Barbara made us feel totally at ease. I was panicking about the wedding and the details before we met Barbara. Once we began working with her, the excitement started to set in! Barbara and her staff are some of the most thoughtful and kind individuals we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. On the day of they made sure we didn't worry about a thing. Barbara's assistant, Missy, stayed by me and my husband's side the entire night. She constantly made sure we had something to eat or drink. She even changed my shoes for me when I couldn't stand my heels any longer! Aside from the perfect service, the food was phenomenal! All of our guests kept coming up to my husband and I and complimenting the delicious food and the generous portions!
I really could not do Barbara and her team justice. They go above and beyond to make that day run smoothly and flawlessly and they did just that. My husband and I have a dream come true of a day to look back upon and it was thanks to her and her team. I could not have asked for a more delightful experience when it came to planning my wedding than working with Barbara and PCS Events. I owe the success of a beautiful and memorable celebration to Barbara. First off, I didn’t expect that the first time that I called PCS that I would speak with Barbara herself. She gave me her undivided attention and I immediately felt comfortable in her hands. As an extremely budget-conscious bride, Barbara was very respectful of my wedding budget and was willing to jump through the many strict and not so pleasant hoops that my venue had, (such as only having 3 hours to set up the whole event) which was no easy task, but Barbara and her team did it with much grace. All these rare attributes made me respect Barbara and her business tremendously and it was their honest work ethic that made me want to give my business to PCS Events.
When it came to decor, she had excellent attention to fine detail and was very knowledgeable about the wedding planning process from start to finish. Barbara also had exceptional and timeless taste and offered great advice that I could count on. The décor came out wonderfully and the ambiance was one of beauty, class and romance.
Barbara and her staff are exquisite cooks! The tasting itself was a memorable event. Barbara and her staff served up a delicious menu filled with unique hors d’oeurves, tasty appetizers, mouthwatering main courses, and delightful dessert treats. This was no different on the day of my wedding. A tasting for 6 people and a wedding feast production for 300 guests can have many disparities, but not with Barbara and PCS events. My guests, to this day, still tell me how wonderful the food was! They had a very merry time.

The entire process with Barbara and her team has been nothing but amazing. From the very beginning up until even AFTER the wedding, Barbara went above and beyond to make sure my special day was everything I imagined it to be.
My now-husband and I live in Orlando, so we knew planning a wedding in Miami was going to be tough, but Barbara made sure that was never an issue. Not only was Barbara quick to answer all my emails (and there were a lot of those) she also was there to provide suggestions when my husband and I weren't able to figure anything out on our own. She was there for every walk through, and my rehearsal- which I couldn't imagine doing with anyone else. We had a pretty large bridal party and Barbara was able to keep everyone focused and on-task.
The entire day went off without a hitch. My husband and I were expecting a few standard issues, but we can honestly say that not one thing went wrong! I could go on for days about how perfect everything was.
Both the ceremony and reception were set-up perfectly, even better than I could have imagined. Barbara kept my entire bridal party (and especially me) at ease the entire day and made sure everything went flawlessly! She was right there beside all of us before and during the ceremony, letting us know what to do and when to walk. At the reception the food was absolutely amazing. The cake looked even better than the picture I sent of what I wanted (and tasted just as amazing as it did at our tasting). The venue only allowed for 2 hours of set up, and 2 hours of break down, and Barbara was able to make everything work.
Barbara and her team think of everything. You really can tell she has been doing this for a while! All the small details I never would have thought of truly made our wedding day amazing. -

Barbara and her entire team are phenomenal. She is the woman you want with you the day of the wedding and the months before. We planned an outdoor wedding at an alternative venue that only provided Barbara and her team with a sink. They built a kitchen and prepared and delivered excellent, abundant food all night, on schedule. My friends were shocked when they found out what she was working with.
Barbara is so much more than a caterer. She is a coordinator, a planner, a decorator, a florist and an extremely hard worker. I did a lot of my own decor and her team set everything up for us. I was a little worried when I only had time to leave them with boxes of decorations, signs, vases, flowers, etc. Her team found special ways to use every bit of the decor better than I would have myself. Every person Barbara brought from the bartenders to the servers, cooks and setup team was friendly, capable, patient and professional. I couldn't imagine a better group of people to interact with and rely on to make things perfect.
Prior to the wedding, Barbara was always flexible with our many changes. She took the extra step to make sure everything would be perfect and seamless. She brought her generator to light our venue since power was scarce. At the end of a long night her team must have been exhausted but they still loaded our personal decor into her van and dropped it at our house so we could have it for our brunch the next morning.
Our wedding was a success and I give Barbara and her team all of the credit for turning our vision into reality. We met with several other caterers, but I liked Barbara and her full service approach. In the end, the best decision we made (besides getting married) was picking Barbara and PCS Events. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and I hope I have occasion to work with her again.

Our event was unique in that it was a surprise wedding. The guests thought they were attending a surprise engagement party for us (bride and groom) and we surprised them with a wedding. This took a good deal of coordination, flexibility, and execution on the part of PCS Events. They provided catering (including food, dessert, and bar), furniture rental, staff, and recommended vendors for security and transportation. Everyone did a phenomenal job. They also provided day of coordination on our behalf, getting all vendors and venue coordinated. Our wedding was a success, nothing fell through the cracks. Food was excellent and the staff were all very professional. Flawless execution. I would strongly recommend PCS to anyone looking to have a top notch event. -

Barb and her staff were EXCELLENT. Throughout the entire process she was always available, extremely helpful, and made sure that our wedding day was perfect. She definitely goes the extra mile for her clients and is no-nonsense when it comes to the details, which is very helpful to couples who may have be indecisive. We highly recommend PCS Events for both their staff and incredible food. The salads, sides, appetizers, entrees, treats, were all top-quality and our guests raved about this.
Because we were so comfortable, we felt we could talk to Barb as if she were family. This relationship proved to be the most important as we had the utmost confidence as the wedding day approached. Neither of us had the infamous wedding-day worries that something would go wrong....which was awesome because we truly got to enjoy our day! (and we had a 6 hour reception!)

We got married on June 9, 2013, and everything was absolutely beautiful and nearly perfect. Barbara from PCS events and her entire staff were AMAZING! Throughout planning Barbara was awesome, we made tons of changes, and she never even batted an eye, and worked with us with no problems. She's a very busy person, but would always get back to me in a timely manner.
Every little detail for the wedding was nearly perfect, the reception and ceremony decor were beautiful and more than we could imagine. The DJ that we worked with through PCS (RJ) was awesome! The dance floor was packed most of the night.
The food was delicious and the cake was amazing and gorgeous! I can't say enough good things about Barbara and her staff, they made sure that our day was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be more thankful. Barbara, Jeff and the rest of the staff were super attentive, and made sure that we had drinks, food, that everything ran smoothly, and were always very courteous and accommodating.
The only thing that I can think of that went wrong was that the holder thing on my cascade type bouquet broke off, but Barbara and her staff fixed it up quickly and we were back on task! :)
Everyone commented that our wedding was beautiful and that they had a ton of fun! PCS events made it all happen, smoothly, and we had nothing to worry about on the day of because Barb took care of everything and made our day perfect!!! -

When I began to look for a company that could create my dream wedding I was nervous and wondering if I was going to be able to find someone who would be able to create what I had in my mind. When I first met with Barbra I could tell that she would be able to make my wedding day a reality.
Through the wedding process Barbra and her team went above and beyond with any questions or concerns that I had. Any question that I had was answered with such a quick respond. It was such an easy process up to my big day that I was the calmest bride.
The day of the wedding was amazing! Her team created such an amazing time for my guests. Her team was quick and attentive to all of my guest. She made sure that she was there when I needed her and she made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. The cocktail hour was full of amazing appetizers. I suggest the toastones with the shredded beef. To die for! The staff made sure there was plenty of food and drinks throughout the cocktail hour. The food for dinner was just as amazing and my guests were so impressed with the delicious food that they went back for seconds and thirds. The cake was three different flavors and each flavor was moist and had its own twist that my guest loved.
The flowers and table set up was just as impressive. We were married at The Ancient Spanish Monastery and it is such a romantic place. Barbra made sure to take advantage of the place with candles and soft lighting.
Any other event that I am going to have I will make sure that I hire Barbra and her staff . Besides her being one of the most professional people I have met she is one of the nicest people I have met as well. She takes someone’s wedding and makes it her own. She treats it as if it was her wedding with all of the details that make it so special. I could have not imagine my wedding coming out the way it did and if it was not for Barbra and her team I do not think it would have.

Barbara is awesome and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding process. She really bends over backwards for her brides and makes sure everything is taken care of for your wedding. The food was delicious, the cake was beautiful and so was the table setting and all of the other things her and her staff take care of on the day of your wedding. I'm so glad that we decided to use a venue that allowed our own caterer because it allowed for much more flexibility on food and we bought our own liquor which makes it much more affordable. I was so happy with how our wedding turned out and Barbara played a huge part in that role. I would highly recommend her for your wedding! -

My whole experience from the beginning to end working with Barbara was wonderful and smooth. When I started looking for a caterer my main thing was quality, good food, works with a budget, and someone I would like and feel comfortable to work with for the next year of planning. Barbara and her staff always provided that and beyond. Her company is way more than just a catering company and they can provided you with so much more and give you great ideas so that your wedding can become your dream wedding. All the food was amazing and Barbara and her staff were so attentive to my husband, guest, and I. So much I felt "hey I think I want my own butler "...LOL! I had an outdoor venue and the day turned out to be extremely windy and I know it was a challenge to work with, but Barbara and staff had everything under control and my wedding went smooth with no problems. Barbara was even extremely kind enough to hold items for us after the wedding so that we could pick it up later at her warehouse when we had the time. I absolutely loved working with Barbara and she helped make my wedding exactly what I had envisioned it to be. I highly recommend her company and I would definitely use them again. -

We enjoyed working with Barbara so much! At the beginning of our search for a caterer/planner, we saw that there were so many companies to choose from. After deliberating and visiting about half of South Florida for the best option, we dwindled down the search to three options. What made our decision so easy,was how amazing Barbara is as a person. My husband and I are not the most decisive of people but Barbara's knowledge and expertise came in so handy when it was difficult to make a decision. We also noticed that the kind of person and worker she is, trickles down to her employees. It's one thing for the owner of a company to be great but to find a company that also has just as amazing employees, is seldomly found. We are still receiving compliments from family members about how beautiful everything turned out and how great the service was. Thank you Barbara and crew for making our wedding so memorable and one of the best days of our lives. We used PCS Event Productions for our Pompano Beach wedding in February 2012. There are not enough wonderful things that we can say about our entire experience. Barbara is not only genuine and personable, but she is professional and efficient. She has a passion for what she does and it shines through in her work.
We planned our south Florida wedding from Jacksonville, so most of the planning was done over the phone and through e-mail. Barbara was ALWAYS accessible, no matter what. She always had a way of making you feel like your wedding was the only wedding she was planning. She was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire planning process- always providing modern and traditional trends, which were particularly appreciated by the first time bride and groom.
From soup to nuts, Barbara and her team did it all for our special day. From tables, chairs, linens, lighting, liquor, hors d'oeuvres, desert display, cake, and ceremony to set-up and break down. She helped with the rehearsal the night before the wedding and her calm professional demeanor helped ease our nerves.
On the big day everything was on time and transitioned smoothly. Barbara remained composed throughout the entire evening and made sure we were satisfied every step of the way. Her staff was impressionable and friendly. The food was exquisite- our guests are still ranting and raving about it months later. The cake, made by her pastry chef, was beautiful and matched the image we provided to the tee. Not to mention delicious… not a single slice was left over.
We would with out a doubt recommend PCS Event Productions services to any bride getting married in the south Florida area!!! Because of Barbara and her delightful staff our concept of a dream wedding truly became a reality.

The thing we liked most about Barbara and her company PCS events is that before being a business woman, she is a human being. Since the first day i spoked to her, you could sense that she was genuinely interested in your visions for that day, and truly wanted to work with you no matter your budget. She worked with us for a whole year, and helped us out tremendously. Quickly responsive, professional, flexible and kind. The food was very good, and the cake was to die for. Barbara & PCS Events were the Best! From start to finish (and afterward) the planning, coordination and final presentations came off without a hitch. Reffered to my wife and I by the Office Ladies in our school - we're both teachers, Barbara kept us appraised of everything- helping us to be mindful of our timeline and offered TONS of advice and insight into every aspect of keeping our wedding reception on point.
Also, Barbaras's staff was very easy-going and professional; they made sure everything was going the way it was planned, and kept everything perfect for our Great Day.

Out of all my vendors, Barbara was my favorite! When we first contacted her, she came to our house to do a "trial" of the items that we had chose from her menu. She cooked everything for us in the comfort in our own home which was extremely convenient for us. Everything tasted wonderful. Barbara was very polite and very professional, 2 qualities that are very important when you are shopping around for your wedding. The number one thing I have to say about Barbara was that she was EXTREMELY easy to get a hold of, unlike some of my others vendors. Also, I work 9-6 in the office so I was able to communicate with her via email almost on a daily basis. She always responded very quickly. She worked with our budget as well :) We basically told her what we had to work with, and she made it happen. She gave us plenty of wonderful ideas that we used. She was very very helpful. I have nothing bad to say about her and the company. The only thing was I wish I would of listened to all of her advice versus only some. Barbara knows what she is talking about! She will not steer you wrong. My wedding turned out beautiful and I wouldnt change it for the world. The food was awesome! The quality was fantastic and my guests loved it! If you are looking for a caterer, look no further PCS events is the way to go! Hands Down! -

My wedding was simply AMAZING thanks to PCS Events. It was more than I ever dreamed of. My husband and I were on a budget and they helped us to allocate our money to what was really important. They were flexible and accomodating. In the end, when I walked into the room I was taken away by how beautiful everything looked. Throughout the night, the staff was excellent. My guests gave us many compliments on the decorations and the food. This is not standard wedding food. It's delicious!!! First I have to say that I am someone who knows what I want especially when it comes to important matters like my wedding. Barbara from PCS Events totally knocked my wedding and what I had envisioned it to be completely out of the park. Her and her staff surpassed every expectation my husband and I had with gracefulness and without any hiccups. She is and was so professional with every aspect of this entire process and was so kind every step of the way. She went with the flow and understood that even last minute changes are all apart of coordinating weddings. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart that we got extremely lucky when we found her. Our wedding would not have been as successful nor as beautiful if we would have went with anyone else and I know that for a fact.
Her food was amazing! Not like normal wedding food, I mean 5 stars quality, top of the line, couldn't ask for more food. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and the service and quality of what she gives to her clients. She listened to everything we wanted and delivered without question. Totally worth everything we spent times some. She put everything she had into our wedding and I only wish she had an assistant during the process to help her out but even without one she completed everything flawlessly. When she becomes famous one day for what she does I hope she remembers us because I know one day she will be the one to beat if she is not already!
She coordinated the entire set up of my wedding and it truly was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. I am not just saying this because it was our wedding but I have never seen a better wedding then what she gave to us that night. I felt like I was having an "out of body" experience when I saw our set up for the first time. Words will just not ever be able to express how beautiful it was.
Barbara will always be someone that we will remember forever and what she did for my husband and I. After everything she is really considered apart of our family now and I so honored to have had her in our lives.

The staff at PCS did a wonderful job for our wedding. They provided excellent service. Everything was done on time and just as I had asked. The day was flawless. We were looking for something a little different when we came to Barbara at PCS Events. We wanted more of a celebration than a traditional wedding. We were looking for food stations, tons of hors d'oeuvres, Wow! decor and great service. A wedding with a modern feel with elegance and a few suprises for the guests. They sure came through. They created a menu just for us, specialty drinks, gorgeous centerpieces, lighting, performers, music. It was spectacular! Our guests had a wonderful time and we were more than happy. My wedding was on May 28th, I contacted Barbara around February (4 months of prep) and since the first phone call I knew she would do a really good job. Barbara was very professional and responsive! S We had a cocktail reception with passed hor'dourves and a display food table. I had spoken to several catering companies before and no one was willing to do it, however, the word "NO" does not exist for Barbara, she tailored the packages just to what we wanted and was VERY reasonable with the prices. The food was delicious! The table display looked beautiful and all of my guest keep on saying how good the food was! and there was PLENTY of food!! Barbara has a LOT of patience, I called her about 20 times during the week of the wedding (including late at night) and she always had a great attitude and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. She even let me borrow the cake stand, the knife set, the ring pillow and the B&G toast glasses!!! Thank you so much for making our special date amazing!!!!! Barbara is amazing! She single handedly prevented my wedding from being a disaster. My husband and I waited until about 2-3 months before our wedding to really start planning. From the moment I spoke with Barbara my anxiety level dropped. She's so real and down to earth, and most of all comforting. The food on our wedding day was delicious and a huge success! The hor'dourves were so awesome that our guests ate them all while we were taking our pictures and we weren't able to get any...luckily we sampled them at our tasting. The prices, in my opinion, were more than reasonable and I feel we had gourmet food without the price tag you see with most other high-end caterers. Please trust me when I say do not look anywhere else for a caterer/ event planner. Barbara will not disappoint! If I didn't say it enough- thank you, thank you, thank you :) -

I am sooo very happy that I came across Barbara at PCS Events after coming across her ad on the list of recommended vendors by my venue! I remember contacting numerous caterers and seeing the packages offered by them. When I obtained the information for the numerous packages offered by PCS, I was so excited as her company does it all! A one stop shop for most of all your wedding needs and I was so happy I went with her because they truly did take care of mostly everything - food, decor, uplighting, lounge furniture, flowers, candles, ceremony, cake, linens, etc.! I recall meeting with Barbara for the very first time with my list of questions as a first time bride and she was just great at offering suggestions and ideas for what I envisioned for my wedding day. Along the way, she was always very flexible with my ideas for the day and changed things up to a few days prior to the wedding. Barbara is such a sweet person and I truly enjoyed working with her. She works with you and your budget! Her staff is also great and I thank Barbara, Jeff, and everyone else that helped create our beautiful wedding day. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves as did our guests who danced the night away!!! We did not want the night to end! When the wedding was over, I recall my husband telling me he wanted it to go on as the day really did pass by too quickly. Barbara and her staff were very helpful during the planning stage of our wedding. It was always a pleasure speaking to her and hearing her advice. When our daughter became engaged we began the journey of where to begin to plan the wedding.
When we met with Barbara for the first time, it was unanimous! She was the one! My daughter said, “Mom, I felt as if she understands my vision.” Throughout the process of choosing the décor, food, entertainment and everything else, she was amazing. In life there are people who are very good listeners and she is one of those people. She listened, took notes, friended my daughter on Pinterest so that she could look at her ideas and communicated with myself and my daughter throughout the entire year. She was always reachable by email, or phone. Never too busy to answer any question. No question was too trivial, always treated any call as if she were speaking to a close friend.
The day of the wedding she was right there from early in the day until the end. She is truly a hands on person. She gave my daughter the wedding of her dreams. Everything was perfect and beyond our expectations! She was extremely fair priced compared with other companies and she went above and beyond with every small detail. Her staff was amazing also. If I were to rate them on a scale of 1-10 for customer service, I would give them a 10! They were so attentive and professional.
The food was phenomenal! Family and friends are still talking about the wedding and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings that they ever attended.
I highly recommend PCS for any event and am so happy that I chose them. Because of Barbara, We will have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

I highly recmmend PCS. They are a complete package. They go over and beyond the catering service. Barbra is with you every step of the way making sure everything is perfect. I had a wedding planner but with Barbra I really did not need one. She was on top of every little detail that a wedding planner usually does. My guest are still talking about the food, cake and amazing decorations. So greatful to PCS for making my wedding unforgettable. -

The crew from PCS Events were amazing, everything looked beautiful and Barbara is probably one of the most easy going people, which I think is a super important factor in the midst of chaos. My wedding was outdoors and of course it rained, so we had to change our setup atleast 3 times, but even then the entire crew made sure to make this a memorable night. I loved everything about that night even the rain, I can honestly say I had the BEST catering team. They made my wedding a dream come true.

Our wedding couldn't have been as successful as it was without PCS Event productions. Barbara really listened to every little detail that we had envisioned for our wedding day and made it come to life. PCS handled all of our wedding food, the majority of our event rentals, and some coordination services. Our wedding food was great... ESPECIALLY the hors d'oeuvres! Our event rentals were very reasonably priced compared to what our venue was offering.
Also the cake... It was awesome! I had changed my mind on the cake design 3 days before the wedding and Barbara was able to work with her pastry chef to make it happen in time for the wedding. The cake was beautiful and it tasted great!
My only gripe would be that things can get a little busy for Barbara at times and she can become a little difficult to reach... Although I stressed about that before the wedding... I had nothing to worry about. Everything turned out wonderfully.

In short: PCS' food is absolutely phenomenal! Only hire them for catering. You and your guests will enjoy the quality food and free-flowing drinks.
However, it's with a heavy heart that I write this review because I loved working with Barbara and her team. We hired them for catering, decor, flowers, and planning. Everyone was kind and made sure that I was never stressed about details. If there was ever anything we wanted that she didn't already have, she'd happily offer to get it for us. It wasn't clear that those requests meant extra charges but we were happy to pay because we were promised that we'd get everything we asked for.
Unfortunately, when it came to our big day, I left feeling very disappointed by their lack of follow-through with the details I was told not to worry about. All the flower colors were completely wrong, I was promised gluten-free options that weren't provided, our wedding cake flavor was carrot when we asked for chocolate and vanilla, cocktail hour was not setup how we discussed... so on and so forth. I spent many hours picking out clear photos of what we wanted the day to look like and discussing all those details with Barbara and her team, so it was just disheartening to see that those conversations weren't remembered.
**To be fair, I selected a difficult color (Terracotta) to achieve in the spring. However, I wish that Barb warned me that finding things in that color would've been an issue instead of showing up with bright orange and yellow decor. They called me every day to watch the weather but never warned me that the certain decor options wouldn't be possible.
In the end, they delivered a beautiful wedding. My guests had a wonderful time. BUT it wasn't the wedding that we planned and that sucks. -

Mixed experience
PCS Events was recommended to us via our wedding planner. The pricing was within our budget and we loved the menu options. The tasting was absolutely fantastic - we decided to hire them on the spot and even picked out table cloths and place settings before we left. I felt at ease and wasn't worried about anything on that end until the day of the wedding.
During the cocktail hour, I noticed that there was an appetizer I didn't recognize and one I was very excited for was missing. I was not notified or asked about this change at any point. At dinner, I had to have my entree switched out due to my piece of fish having a weird texture. And weeks later, I found out that one table was never even served their entrees while others were offered second servings! I don't know what went wrong on the vendor's end as my guests did not want to stress me out during the reception. -

Delivered a fun wedding but many details were lost
PCS delivered a fun wedding but many details we planned were lost. I’m rounding up to a 4 for Quality of Service because while there were a lot of errors on our wedding day, Barbara put in a lot of effort and we had an awesome time. We knew things would go wrong, especially in a challenging venue, with a large headcount, and on a tight budget—but more went wrong than we expected.
Our cocktail hour was set up in the wrong location. Despite deciding that we would not be doing welcome drinks, drinks were given to guests as they arrived. Despite specifying in our seating chart where high chairs would be needed, no high chairs were offered to those tables. The father/daughter dance and toasts were supposed to happen after guests were seated with their meals and instead happened earlier. As such, people didn’t have drinks for the toasts (though this was probably more the DJ’s error). I panicked that PCS had forgotten about the wine table service because I noticed there were no wine glasses on the tables. Staff were pulled off the bar to start taking orders. Had I known that they did not have sufficient staff to do both simultaneously, I wouldn’t have pushed for it. Later, PCS shared that they don’t set wine glasses or serve wine at the tables because it stains the linens, but this had never been communicated to us. We would not have added on this service if we had known.
Guest place cards were placed incorrectly at 5 of our 15 tables. A mix of all sorts of candles were used at our event that were NOT the 3x3 and 3x4 pillar candles we specified. During the buffet, the vegetarian entree wasn’t there. We were later told that this was to avoid non-vegetarians from eating it, but the guests didn't know to ask for it! Despite knowing where all the vegetarian guests were seated, PCS never checked in on them to offer it. No kids meals were served. PCS did refund us for this but, unfortunately, the picky eaters didn’t get to eat. PCS ran out of the fish option at our buffet (even though it was well communicated that there would be many Catholics in attendance observing lent). Our parents were amongst those who could not get the fish.
I know that based on the above it might seem like our wedding was a disaster, but it wasn’t. It’s just that members of the staff felt very green and many moments of our wedding felt chaotic. Despite the things that went wrong, a lot went right. We had the right layout, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, plates, and silverware. Table numbers were placed on the right tables, signs and photos were displayed (albeit one on a broken easel), raffia fans were put out, and our signature drink, cake, and coffee were served. Also, though we didn’t really eat, we were told the food was good! The space looked stunning and people could not stop talking about how beautiful Barbara’s florals were.
PCS also handled coordinating our tent set up and break down, moving several items from their original locations to new locations throughout the evening, and received and served a fast food delivery we ordered. Though there were guests who commented on the disorganization of the staff, many more people commented on how fun our wedding was.
If you’re a detail-oriented bride, hire a separate day of coordinator. With PCS, details got lost and information was not well communicated. Staff were not prepared to answer guest questions and, depending on who you asked, you were likely to get different answers. But, things looked beautiful and we all had a great time! -

Barbara is wonderful and has amazing ideas and is not pushy. She did respond to emails and phone calls very quickly and had answers to all my questions. She is a caterer and planner in one. She planned out my wedding to the tee and it seemed to be perfect, until the day came. Every bride's nightmare happened to me and that is a rainy day with an outdoor wedding in December. Normally, it does not rain in December in Florida but I got lucky. Barbara seemed to panic and nothing got done because of the rain. My ceremony had to be moved into a small chapel that the venue happen to have and took an hour to take off. I was actually on time. The cocktail hour took almost another hour and a half to start because of the rain and when I arrived at my reception area the table centerpieces were missing, the favors, the candles, the cameras, everything. It was cramped all under a tent and everything was delayed by an hour. The dancing was cut down to barely an hour because we had a time frame and she and her team seemed lost and lost sight of things because of the rain. I understand rain does ruin things but as professionals they should be able to conquer all that. The food was delicious and my guests were very pleased with the food. But for a bride's special day it seemed like my wedding ended up being too much of an unconventional wedding for my taste and almost a fiasco. I was disappointed. -

Barbara was great when it came to customer service. She was the only cater that I spoke to that came to me and not me go to them. She meet me at my venue and took notes on everything that I said I wanted. Anytime I sent an email to her she responded to it very quickly. We even had a private tasting and the food was great. All up until the wedding she was perfect. Then came the day of the wedding and well I don’t know what happened. Now the cake was delicious, but it wasn’t the cake design that I had sent her and the flavor was off too. I was very disappointed with the cake because if her cake maker couldn’t do what I wanted, then I would have gladly paid someone else to make my cake. The flavor was carrot cake and it was supposed to be cream cheese filling and we got butter cream filling instead which my husband does not like. I didn’t notice that until my husband told me because he doesn’t like butter cream. I had to split the venue room in two because I had to have the cocktail in the same room. So I had discussed with her that I wanted curtains between the pillars to separate the room and when it was time to have people sit down, the curtains where to be opened and tied back to the pillars. This would have made entrances between the pillars and people could walk thru anywhere they wanted. Instead I got shear (see thru material) material that was just tacked up at the ceiling. It looked tacky at the top because she just tacked it up like she did. And because it was tacked and couldn’t be moved like a curtain there was just one opening. Now the food was good but a lot of my guest complained to me that there food was cold and some people even got there chicken that wasn’t cooked all the way. My food which came out first was good but also cold. There are other things I can go into detail with, but it will make this already long review longer. What I can say that was good was her bartenders, they where GREAT! I don’t know what happened that day. I know there was a problem with the elevator, she had to use one and share it the florist and DJ but if she would have gotten there early like she said she would maybe it wouldn’t have been as bad. And we where even late in getting to the venue but I figured that would just give her more time. It looked like she didn’t know what to do and she had no control over her waiters. I know weddings are crazy but if you do this for a living you should at least be a little more prepared. I will say we did get some money back but not enough. I was really disappointed. -

Take Caution
We do not want to get into specific details as we do not believe in Internet bullying and have no interest in partaking in the low integrity of correspondences I have read here, however, we would like to say that we unfortunately did not have the wedding we spent months planning and saving our money for by any means. Almost every single detail was sadly wrong from the decor and lighting to the flow of the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception. Almost 3 years later, we still suffer with the trauma of our wedding day and accepting that we had a stressful, chaotic experience on the one day of our lives that was meant to be the best day of our lives. We relive the day and sadly get angry at having moments robbed from us. We can't even watch our wedding video without getting upset seeing the distress on our faces in the video. Details that we spent months planning to make our guests feel special were overlooked and we did not feel taken care of on our wedding day whatsoever. Luckily, we had a wonderful bridal party, family and photo/video vendors who really helped pick up PCS Events constant slack, and helped to turn tears into laughter to enjoy what we could on the wedding day. If you are a couple on a serious budget, then PCS Events is your best bet at getting access to a beautiful venue at a cheaper rate, but just remember you get what you pay for. If you do decide to work with PCS Events, as a bride, I *highly* recommend hiring a separate day of wedding coordinator. That was one of my biggest mistakes. Good luck. -

We hired PCS events as our catering company, which included day of coordinators. Barbie, one of owners, is very nice and attentive. She helped us make decisions and gave us many ideas. However, BEWARE, she will add things to your invoice without discussing the price first. This was extremely frustrating for a money-conscious bride as she had little consideration for our budget. And then came the wedding ... overall I had a wonderful wedding but things could have gone much smoother if I would've hired someone else. Barbie had an emergency during my wedding and left after the ceremony without saying anything as to "not inconvenience" us. This basically left us with no coordinator except for the bride! So nothing happen on time or in an organized fashion. For example, guests weren't ushered from the cocktail to the reception until the wedding party did it and we arranged the wedding party entrance ourselves. Dinner went ok but so slow. The food was nothing special and wine was not served at tables, which we paid extra for. I also had to be responsible for organizing pictures with the cake, the vendors getting their meals, and the bouquet/garter toss. The bride shouldn't be organizing her own wedding, it's too stressful! Especially when she was counting on day-of coordinating services. And other details were missed, like not displaying things we gave her (imagine spending time on DIY stuff and then someone forgets to put it out!). The icing on the cake was how rude she was to one of my guests whose bag was missing and he was just trying to find out if anyone from her staff had seen it. Overall, this company doesn't run well without Barbie even though she says someone else on her team has 10 years of experience. I didn't see that experience at my wedding. And her lack of professionalism, especially not telling us she had to leave, was very disappointing. If you choose to hire her, make sure you have someone else ready to pick up the slack and a big budget. -

Untimely and Unprofessional
Beginning with the positive, the bartenders and serving staff were absolutely great. The wedding also turned out beautiful with the flowers and decor that were provided. However, I would not recommend this vendor based on our experience with the main contact and “day of coordinator” Barbara. If you are looking for a coordinator who is consistently late, doesn’t respond to emails or keep you updated, and is rude to your family and friends on the event days this vendor is for you. She was incredibly unorganized and did not listen to multiple or my requests leading to additional charges days before the wedding. Overall, I would not recommend this vendor if you would like a worry free planning process and smooth day of. -

Talk about starting on a high note and ending on a low one. My relationship with Barbara and PCS Events began with nothing but happiness and excitement along with recommendations to everyone I knew and ended in a huge disappointment.
I chose to use PCS for the flower arrangements. The flower girl pom-poms were practically destroyed. The flowers fell out of it and were all over the aisles! The bridesmaids flower arrangements could not have been more simple - I asked for white roses and that's exactly what I got. I could've gone to the corner and bought 2 dozen white roses and come up with the same look. My bouquet wasn't exactly what I asked for either and the same goes for the centerpieces.
As for the reception, well, we all knew rain was bound to happen (even though I was in denial - it is my wedding after all). As a wedding planner and event coordinator, you prepare for this type of situation - you arrive EARLY, after all, "plan" is part of your title right?!?!?! Unfortunately, PCS did not. Their lack of preparation nearly ruined my wedding. One of my own family members had to miss the ceremony because Barbara was not at the reception site (a private residence) 45 minutes before the ceremony started so nothing was set up! How is it possible that the planner shows up to the reception site 1 hour prior to the start of the reception, while all the employees that are there have no idea where to put anything? As a result of their poor planning, the bars were not set up. There were no mixers available at the start of the reception for the liquor we provided and guests were serving their own drinks. Imagine how embarrassing it was to be told by our own guests. Then, when I addressed it with Barbara after the wedding, she denied it happening - as if my guests would lie to me about something like that?!?!?!? The tent was not set up either, family members had to go out and buy light bulbs for the chandelier, they had to move the tables and chairs, I mean, they might as well have worked for them. Oh, but yes, that was another thing that they denied took place. How can you simply not acknowledge that you dropped the ball? How can you blame the elements and the weather and not yourself for the lack of preparation? How is it that you don't offer a single apology? As a professional, you don't insult your client because of the way things turned out due to your lack of preparation. A wedding at a private home can be the most elegant thing in the world - the only way it would turn out like a "big house party" is because the person that planned it didn't do it right!
The bottom line is they were extremely unprepared and probably bit off more than they could chew. For someone who says they only handle one wedding a day, it seemed as though there may have been something else going on the same day...that would be the only explanation.
The only thing they got right was the food and their staff was very nice - that's they only reason I'm adding any stars to this review.
Please think twice before hiring this company for any event. You run the risk of being greatly disappointed, especially since most of these reviews are skewed because all they do is ask people who are happy with them to write a review. I’m sure I’ll get some kind of unprofessional, no accountability response back from Barbara because after all, it wasn’t her fault, it was the elements.

Brides beware
After working with Barbara for 1.5 years prior, she no-showed our October 2024 wedding and refuses to respond to any of our emails since. Barbara lied stating she was sick when she actually double-booked herself and was at a different wedding. On top of us having no coordinator, our wedding was further ruined by numerous other contractual failures from PCS including not having any of the correct food, having inadequate and unprofessional staff, missing flowers, and missing decor. We have given Barbara multiple chances to make things right but she has refused to speak with or contact us in any way since the day before our wedding. Words cannot even describe how horrific the "best day of our lives" turned out to be due to Barbara's lack of care. The lying and contractual failures from PCS including not having any of the correct food, having inadequate and unprofessional staff, missing flowers, and missing decor. We Regret Hiring Them for Our Wedding
It is important to note at the outset of this review that we tried contacting PCS Events directly about the issues discussed below, but they have not responded. If you want any part of your event to be stress-free, or organized I would not recommend PCS Events. They are not organized and they have no attention to detail.
There is not enough time or space to address every failure, delay, and disappointment on our wedding day because of PCS Events, but the major issues are addressed below.
On the day of our wedding, we were promised adequate staffing with trained servers and bartenders. We received neither. The staff spoke little to no English and one server even spilled an entire plate on a guest. She then asked, “do you want me to get you another one?” Additionally, there was a 15 – 20-minute wait at the bar all night long because they only hired 1 bartender for more than 100 people. Many guests did not get water service at the table, and they had to wait in the 20-minute line just to get water. Moreover, PCS Events did not follow our seating chart and some guests did not have seats/place settings. Couples were placed at opposite ends of the tables and family members were seated apart from one another.
We were also promised a month of wedding planner who would coordinate the rehearsal, plan our wedding, and manage the wedding schedule throughout the day. We received neither. During the rehearsal, they sent an assistant who had zero knowledge about the details of our wedding. I (the bride) had to step in and direct everyone and lead our own rehearsal. Notably, the Event Planner was not present during our reception because there were not enough chefs, and she was too busy cooking in the back. There was no one there to manage the flow of the event. Our wedding party had to step in and help manage the timelines.
Before starting the ceremony, it became clear that PCS Events had not provided enough chairs for the guests, despite going over the headcount in detail beforehand. Again, PCS Events failed to step in and direct the guests where to sit and my maid of honor had to go out before we started to do crowd control.
During the reception, it became clear that the food being served to our guests was of a different quality entirely than the food provided to us at the tasting. We (the bride and groom) could hardly eat our dinner because the meat was so incredibly chewy and tasteless. Additionally, our signature cocktail was being served in wine glasses because PCS Events had not brought enough cocktail glasses.
Lastly, our guests did not get to see many of the beautiful custom details that we had ordered for our wedding simply because of PCS Events’ inattentiveness to detail. We spent significant money on custom cocktail napkins, but PCS Events did not pass them out with drinks. We also ordered a custom mirrored seating chart with calligraphy, but PCS Events placed the mirror behind a tree where no one could see it. Our guests had to walk around the tables looking for their names on the place cards at each table. Additionally, many guests did not see our card box, digital sign-in card, or honeymoon fund QR code, because they were all placed on a table behind a tree where no one saw it.
We will note that PCS Events provided beautiful flower arrangements and furniture rentals for an affordable price. However, after all the stress, anxiety, and lack of communication on the other services, we would not hire them again for any purpose. -

A Day to Remember, Thanks to PCS Events

Our wedding with Barbara and the PCS Events team was amazing. Even though it was super hot in August, someone from their team had a small fan to help me stay cool. This was really nice, especially when we were taking photos. There was a problem when the power went out, but Barbara had planned ahead. She had a power box on standby because she was worried about the historic building having electrical problems, so the party started again really fast. Most guests didn't even notice! The food was great. Everyone loved the champagne risotto and the GUAVA ROSEMARY CHICKEN - OMG. Barbara was more than just a person who catered and planned our wedding.
