We found Patricia to be remarkably professional, and she worked with us on everything with the ceremony. We didn't really have too much of an idea of what we wanted to do, but she helped guide us along the way and really made it a great ceremony. She checked in periodically to make sure everything was fine in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, and was very patient when we had other things occupying much of our time. Patricia is a great officiant and I'd highly recommend her for any couples looking for a good one! -

Our wedding planner first introduced us to Patricia, and after meeting with her once we knew we had found our officiant! During our initial meeting she explained her usual ceremony and how everything would work, and gave us several options and ideas as we began thinking of what we wanted for our ceremony. She checked in with us several times as our wedding approached, and even gave us some suggestions and edits for the ceremony flow. Day of, she was at the venue with plenty of time prior to the ceremony and was extremely professional, and so warm and comforting when we needed it - I needed to take a second when trying to say my vows, and she gave me a little squeeze of confidence! Patricia is a wonderful and warm addition to any wedding ceremony, and I would highly recommend her for future engaged couples! -

Patricia was absolutely wonderful to work with. We heard about her through our florist, and she met up to every bit of praise we heard about her. She was very responsive along every step of the way, and helped us feel comfortable getting very hands-on in crafting a unique and thoughtful ceremony. We really enjoyed getting to know her, she seemed to take a genuine interest in us as a couple, which made everything about the ceremony feel more personal. She is highly professional, sophisticated, warm. We HIGHLY recommend her!!! -

Patricia was so sweet and amazing to work with! We had her officiate both of our weddings. We initially hired her for our large wedding that we had in April 2016, but mentioned to her that my husband and I would be having a very small ceremony the year prior to that for immigration purposes. She offered to officiate that ceremony for us for cheaper than going to the courthouse, and on the beach. She is so nice, and SO helpful. She has many different options for ceremonies, and we definitely relied on those for our ceremony. She came prepared with tissues, and really helped me calm my nerves while standing up in front of everyone. We would recommend her over and over, she was great! -

We hit the jackpot when we found Patricia to officiate our wedding!
During our first meeting with Patricia, we immediately connected with her and knew she was the perfect person to officiate our ceremony. My husband and I wanted to create a ceremony unique to our story and Patricia was very flexible and open to allowing us to incorporate meaningful words that made the ceremony truly tailored to us. In the months leading up to the big day, she provided us with examples of passages we might want to consider including and allowed us to edit them however we wanted. The ceremony truly was our own!
On the day of the wedding, Patricia was a calming presence and she created such a warm atmosphere at our ceremony – it was comforting to have her with us in front of our guests. (She even had kleenex hidden for us when we needed it!) The ceremony was so loving and warm – it will always be my most favorite part of the day – and I know that Patricia was a big reason why we achieved our goal!
If you want an officiant who is kind, professional, flexible, calm and experienced, Patricia is the one for you!

Cannot say enough good things on Patricia. We were laid back since this was a second marriage for both of us. However, Patricia very gently guided us to customize our ceremony that exceeded our expectations. Saying our vows and benedictions prayer touched us in ways we were not expecting. Two weeks later and we are still talking about how heartfelt the ceremony was for us. Patricia was a prefect choice. -

When I found Patricia, I was at my wits' end. I had chosen my dad to be my officiant, thinking I could put together the whole ceremony and write his speech for him. Two weeks before the wedding, all of my plans blew up in my face because of the pressure of having to do everything...when I had no idea what I was doing. I contacted Patricia after finding wonderful reviews of her on the internet, and on the phone, she immediately calmed me down by giving me some education about what exactly happens at a ceremony and what an officiant says, and she was gracious enough to accept our request to be our officiant.
In the weeks that followed, Patricia gave us a wealth of knowledge: what the officiant can say, vows we can say to each other, explanations for how to do a rehearsal and the conventions/roles/order of how/when/when everyone goes down and up the aisle. She gave us beautiful templates for officiant speeches and vows that we could customize with her. In the final days, she was there for me when I had trouble writing my vows, and she helped me write them, putting together a draft for me in the way she imagined I would want to write it.
I remember hopping off a golf cart on the wedding day in my big poofy wedding gown (we got married at the San Diego Safari Park, and everyone was transported from the dressing room to the ceremony site on a golf cart), feeling stunned that I was getting married in a few minutes. Then Patricia came up to me smiling, and I was relieved because I knew she knew what she was doing. A lot of our family/guests were Chinese, and Patricia showed me a surprise: she was wearing her gold necklace with the Chinese character for double happiness! Even her outfit was in a Chinese silk brocade style! What a wonderful touch! Patricia really is very knowledgeable and appreciative of cultures. -

We used Patricia for our November 20 wedding at the Crosby Club in Rancho Santa Fe. She was absolutely perfect! We were daunted by the idea of writing our ceremony, but Patricia provided a ton of sample ceremonies and examples (readings, vows, etc.) that made it incredibly easy to build a customized ceremony that was perfect for us. She was really flexible and willing to do anything we wanted, which was nice as we were looking for a simple and non-religious ceremony. And she performed the ceremony beautifully! Considering how much time and focus goes into planning all of the other details of the wedding day, I was surprised that my favorite part of our wedding was the ceremony itself :). We felt really comfortable with Patricia and everyone asked us where we found our officiant, as it really felt like she knew us.
Would definitely recommend Patricia to anyone looking for a non-denominational wedding officiant in San Diego! -

I can't express how happy we were with Patricia's services! Everything from responding to emails promptly, to adjusting her reading so my sister's ceremony reading didn't repeat what she would be saying, to her making the font large on our vow cards (that she printed for us day of!) because I told her I wouldn't be wearing my glasses that day. She was also aware of how nervous I get with crowds/attention and kept making eye contact with me to reassure me to calm my nerves. Everyone asked us after "Who was the family member that officiated the wedding?" after because she was so warm. There wasn't a dry eye in sight! Mind you, this was a destination wedding for us and we met her that day! I also found out after our wedding that right before the ceremony, my grandmother got upset because she forgot to give my husband and I a penny for our shoe. We thought it was kind of a silly superstition so we forgot about it but Patricia took the pennies from my grandma (moments before the ceremony) and ran them to Rodney and I separately because she saw how important it was to her. What a nice gesture! That coupled with her affordable prices? You won't find a better officiant! -

We had a wonderful experience with Patricia as our wedding day officiant. We had heard her officiate at a close friend's wedding a few months back and after talking with the bride, we reached out to contact her ourselves. She has years of experience, and makes a wonderful effort to get to know you and your significant other as a couple. She has tons of options for vows if you don't feel comfortable writing your own, including ones that you can tailor to your liking. Even though we didn't know Patricia personally before the wedding, we felt like she fit right in to become a wonderful addition to our most special day and for that we are forever grateful. She responds quickly to emails/texts/etc and everything was very organized and EASY (especially considering all the other stressful things that go along with wedding planning). We recently referred her to another couple that is close friends with us and they are planning on using her for their special wedding day as well! -

Patricia was the absolute most perfect Officiant for our wedding. She assured us in every way along the way. She is very calming and personal and our wedding ceremony was just gorgeous. I am so happy we chose Patricia and would not have changed a single thing we did.
She emailed me the morning after the wedding not only to congratulate us, but with detailed instructions on how we can obtain our marriage license since we live out of state. She doesn't miss a thing.
Patricia kept in touch with me throughout my engagement making sure we had our vows picked out and double checking on the timing of everything with me, our hotel, etc. Everything was perfect, and day of, the hotel concierge told us we were in very good hands with Patricia. And, they were right!! I highly recommend hiring Patricia. You will be extremely happy!!!! -

We could not say better things about Patricia! She really was everything we were looking for in an officiant. We immediately clicked with her when we met for the first time; she was so welcoming, funny, easy to talk to and genuinely interested in our story. Patricia took our vision and allowed us to style our ceremony and vows exactly how we wanted. What we truly loved though was that she was genuine and sweet; she wasn't cheesy or over the top, she was the perfect mixture of everything we wanted.
For months up to weeks before, Patricia was in constant contact, helping us with questions and giving us all the information we needed to get our marriage license and what to do after the ceremony. When it came to the day of, she was on time and dressy perfectly :). Something about Patricia is calming and having her up there put both me and my husband at ease. She took her time through the ceremony, never stumbling on her words and going at the perfect pace. Honestly, I would recommend Patricia to any couple; she's an amazing lady, affordable, and so easy to work with! So many thanks! -

Patricia is just the best! She is a very kind and gentle persona. We wanted a traditional and not too religious wedding ceremony and she was very knowledgable and accommodating to our needs. She gave us samples to read thru for our ceremony to help us out. She arrived on time for our big day and just helped us thru our traditional vows. She was very calming and made sure we had the best , most heartfelt ceremony. She even had tissue for me and my husband ready as we were just crying our eyes out during our vows.

Patricia was an exceptional find for our wedding. Selecting an officiant was something that we kind of left to the last minute, but luckily she was available and excited to do it. We spoke about what we were looking for and she understood exactly where we were coming from. She sent us some examples to look over and we picked out exactly what fit us. When the day came my bride and I were a little nervous, but Patricia was calm and reassuring. She even had all of our vows typed out for us. Afterward a number of our guests remarked how great the ceremony was: meaningful and heartfelt without being long-winded. Patricia was excellent and we were very happy that she helped make our big day fantastic. -

After we contacted Patricia about being our officiant, she emailed us with a lot of sample ideas, instructions for the rehearsal, information letters, etc. We met up with her at the site to discuss the details. Patricia never made us feel like an inconvenience and she provided quick feedback and suggestions. She was honest at the beginning (ie not needing her there for the rehearsal).
Our wedding started half an hour later than anticipated but she never complained. She visited me in the bridal room to provide me with updates on the situation. For that I am truly appreciative. I am very glad we were able to book her and highly recommend her if you're looking for a professional officiant. -

Patricia was the perfect officiant for our wedding! We had a destination wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park and were facing the challenge of finding someone we could trust from over 300 miles away. We wanted a unique, non-denominational ceremony that would express the depth of our ten-year friendship and the love of our nine-year relationship. I scoured the internet and ultimately selected Patricia to meet with. I knew right away that she would give us a beautiful ceremony! She was able to perfectly integrate our wine box/memory box ceremony and our butterfly release. Not only was it memorable, but it was more than we had ever expected. Afterward, relatives kept coming up to us to compliment the elegance of the ceremony verbiage and the impeccable tone at which it was delivered. I would highly recommend Patricia! -

Patricia did an amazing job at our wedding. From the moment we met, my now husband and I thought she was one of the most loving, caring, and warm people we have ever met. These are all such important qualities to carry, especially since a wedding officiant plays such an important role in the ceremony.
We had a chance to meet prior to the wedding. At this time, she really tried to get to know both of us as a couple. We both come from different faiths, so she was able to tailor our wedding to accommodate both of our needs. She sent us a copy of our ceremony prior to the big day to review, and make sure that there were no details missed. After the ceremony, she hand delivered our documents to the County Recorder's Office.
After the wedding was finally over, we had so many of our wedding guests tell us that it was the most beautiful ceremony that they have ever seen. We really appreciate everything that she did for us! We would highly recommend her to everyone on their special day!

I would highly recommend Patricia to officiate your wedding. She was very responsive during the planning stages. We customized our ceremony with the help of her templates. We even requested she stay thru till the the toasts to Officiate our Affirmation of Guests - and that wasn't a problem. Very easy to work with which is exactly what you need when you are in the throws of planning your wedding. -

From the moment I met Patricia at our first meeting, I knew she was the one I wanted to officiate our wedding. While incredibly kind and genuine, you could tell she would hold her own. Nevertheless, I held back- just in case my fiancé wasn’t sure. By the end of the appointment though, he just looked at me and said “Yep, she’s the one. Let’s do this.” There has been absolutely no question in our minds since that day that she was the perfect match for us.
Over the next four months, Patricia and I emailed back and forth over the details of my ceremony. I decided to go a very untraditional route and write my own, we were not bound by religion and there were some particular themes I wanted to outline. Every single time I emailed her, asking for her opinion or revising some part, she replied very quickly and with great enthusiasm.
The day of, she came early to give us both a hug and tell us how beautiful everything was. It really made me feel like she was there for us, not only to work but also to experience our marriage to one another. And when the music got messed up, my introduction took too long and my loving groom lost focus, you can bet she snapped him back into gear. He turned to me several times over the next few days and said how much he appreciated her doing so, it really made him aware of the whole experience. When I finally made it up the aisle and took his hand, she came in close, holding our hands together and patting them reassuringly.
I know oftentimes, when I read reviews I am looking for the price range. And she is very very very fair, I would say on the lower end of what you find in San Diego. But I assure everyone reading this that Patricia played a crucial part in our ceremony, making it that much more special, that much more real. And that was all we could ask for; I would not have had anyone else. -

I would strongly recommend Patricia to anyone getting married! We met with a few other officiants during our search for our wedding, but we really connected with her during that first encounter. She was genuine and non-judgemental, not to mention open about her own life, which was important to us. She was very interested in hearing our story and offered some excellent suggestions, including how we could incorporate people that are dear to us into our ceremony. She listened to all of our requests and offered various options for the ceremony and really tailored it with our words. She was always very responsive and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable. Our wedding was phenomenal and completely captured our love with the words Patricia helped us put together and her delivery moved us to tears. I cannot praise her gift enough with words, she is simply amazing. -

We found Patricia to be exactly the person who should officiate - someone who is professional, but easy going and serious with a light hearted side. She handled our ceremony wonderfully - many guests said it was one of the most touching weddings they had ever attended. Patricia did an outstanding job for our wedding! She sent us a lot of different suggestions for ceremonies so we could put together our own personalized ceremony. We really liked the suggestions and ideas she provided us with so that we didn't have to do a lot of research on our own. She was professional and very personable. Once we wrote up our ceremony, she reviewed it for us so that we wouldn't miss anything. On our big day, she worked well with all of our vendors and she did a really nice job with our ceremony. We were very pleased with her work and would definitely recommend her. -

Patricia was the officiant for our wedding and we loved her! My husband and I are not very religious but knew we wanted several specific things in our ceremony. Being half Jewish, I wanted to incorporate some traditions into the ceremony. Patricia was open to all of our ideas and gave us suggestions. My husband and I live in VA and planned a destination wedding in Temecula, CA. A friend referred Patricia after seeing her perform a wedding, and as soon as I reached out to her I knew she would make everything meaningful, memorable, and run smoothly. I met with her during a planning trip and immediately felt like I've know her for years. She has a caring personality, kind heart and her passion for her job was undeniable. What I truly loved was her willingness to make our ceremony completely customized to suit us! Planning long-distance was a breeze... as she always responded to emails quickly and was more than helpful with ideas. We had A LOT of issues with our venue, but knowing our other vendors, Patricia included, were fantastic helped me keep peace of mind. I had no doubts our ceremony would be beautiful, but she in fact helped make if even more magical than I could have dreamed. We cannot thank her enough for playing such a key role in our wedding. Patricia is warm and you can feel her passion for love. Putting together the ceremony with Patricia was a breeze. We communicated via email but she is always available by phone as well. Our wedding was on 6/9/2012. My husband and I were very pleased with Patricia since day one. She is very professional, super flexible and easy to work with. We actually had a separate ceremony prior to the actual day, and she accomodated us with that! She's such a sweet and caring person. Patricia gave us a lot of guidance in drafting our ceremony details with readings, our vows, and honoring of our parents. Our ceremony was beautiful, with every single detail. From the first meeting with Patricia we knew she would be the person to perform our wedding ceremony. She is very easy to talk to, super friendly and understood the type of ceremony we wanted. She kept in good contact leading up to the wedding. The process of creating the ceremony she is a little hands off, but that suited us fine. She sent a couple example ceremonies but we ended up putting one together from a few we found online (and I'm sure that if we had asked for more help she would have). On the day of the wedding, she was on time and fully prepared. And during the ceremony she really helped us stay present and feel what we were saying to each other. She offered several samples of vows and allowed us to customize however we chose. The day of my wedding our photographer had travel issues and canceled last minute; Patricia was kind enough to find us a backup photographer last minute! All of our family thought she was wonderful as do we. Her pricing is also very reasonable, and better than most other officiants in the area! Look no further, brides to be. Patricia is your gal! She was perfect in every way. She responds to email very quickly, and is happy to answer every little question you might have. She provides many sample ceremonies so that you may compose your own without spending hours on the internet. For our ceremony at The Wedding Bowl, she provided such a lovely energy...smiling and chatting up the guests. She arrived on time and looked very nice in a simple black jacket and black skirt. She greeted me before the ceremony and told me how pretty I looked and showed me the little book of our ceremony she was going to read from. While reading the ceremony, she frequently looks up to make eye contact with you and the guests! You could tell she had put the effort in to practice our ceremony ahead of time! She speaks loudly, clearly, and with emotion. Her voice is beautiful and calming. She even slipped in a few touches of my arm, or hand, which really had a calming effect. She also fixed my veil as it was blowing in the wind, mid-sentence without even skipping a beat. Believe me, she is the best, the sweetest, and the most professional. You can't go wrong. -

Working with Patricia was amazing! She was so easy to talk to and she was so helpful with any questions that I had. Although we were planning our la jolla beach wedding from Phoenix, it was super easy for us to figure everything out. Patricia gave me pointers from what time the ceremony should start and other tidbits that only come from experience. It was really nice to meet her on the day of our wedding and when she spoke to us during our ceremony it seemed like we had known her for years before. If I could give more stars - I would! We were so lucky to have found Patricia! When the family member who was going to perform our ceremony fell ill (a month before our wedding) – it left us scrambling to find someone else and quick! Someone recommended Patricia to us and from the very first conversation we had – I knew she would be perfect! She immediately put us at ease and we connected with her right away. She gave us direction, support, and encouragement leading up to our wedding and especially the day of. She not only provided us with lots of ideas and samples, but allowed us to tailor the ceremony to fit us! Patrcia has been more than helpful throughout the entire process. I was having a cold feet along with brain freeze during the ceremony, but she held our hands and calm us down right away. Patricia is very professional, friendly, prompt, and helpful. My husband and I just got married about two weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier with her service. She sent us many ceremony samples to choose from and was always prompt when answering our questions. She helped us throughout the entire process and typed up the final ceremony wording at the end, so we knew exactly what to expect. Patricia showed up ahead of time on our big day. She has a very charming, collected presence, which made our ceremony warm and intimate. We would highly recommend Patricia to anyone needing an officiant. -

Patricia was fantastic! She was easy to get a hold of and very enthusiastic. She was also very calming on our wedding day. We had someone pass out during our ceremony and she guided us calmly through the whole ordeal and made us feel as if nothing was going on around us. I would definitely recommend her services. -

Patricia Coleman epitomizes how a professional, caring officiant should perform a wedding ceremony. We were very fortunate to have her as our officiant at our wedding. She went above and beyond the call of duty by customizing our wedding vows and literally holding our hands throughout the planning and the ceremony.
She has a way of making the ceremonial words come alive and be deeply meaningful and truthful. She's prepared for any eventuality, including the groom dropping the ring and handing him a kleenex to wipe his eyes.
