    Amazing! Couldn’t be much happier and satisfied! Beautiful and spacious Venue, efficient and curteous staff, everything was just perfect.
    The manager Kathy did an excellent job and went above and beyond to satisfy my family’s requirements for the wedding. She was available from the time we first visited till the night of the event. She responded to all of my texts and arranged everything I wanted. It was a Pakistani wedding so some cultural part was involved too in the wedding planning and Ellora staff made it easy for us. I highly recommend it to anyone.

    We had our wedding there on 3/25/17. We can not believe how amazing it went. The staff went above and beyond, they really were like family to us the day of. Kathy never left our side, and really made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Ashley stayed in contact with us through the whole process of planning the wedding. She made the process easy for us. We were able to have our Ceremony & Reception there and would do it over and over again. The food was delicious!! Not one of our guest left on an empty stomach! Thank you so much to the Ellora Staff for making our day so special. Especially a shout out to Ashley and Kathy!!! :) We would highly recommend this venue for any event.

    The Ellora is a great venue. The staff at the Ellora are very friendly, with great customer service. I had my wedding reception at the Ellora on the 9th of October, 2016. I am very happy that I chose this venue. The food was great!!!! My guests still talk about the food and how great the staff were. Ashely, Kathy, and Manoj (the best chef ever) are wonderful people. I will definitely use The Ellora again for my next event. Thank you very much for all your help during my wedding reception. I am very grateful.

    Kudos to the Ellora team for a flawless execution of our plans for a successful wedding event for our son. Our guests were full of praise for the quality and quantity of the food during both the cocktail hour and the buffet. The staff at Ellora were very accommodating in allowing us to include both Indian and Western inspired choices for the menu. The catering staff was efficient and it seemed like the many food items in the buffet were always full. The updated decor creates the pleasant ambiance to help you make your event a bigger success.

    Ashley, who was our wedding coordinator, was always available for questions in the time leading up to the event. She was quick to respond to any emails we sent. At the event itself, both she and Peter were always within reach and eager to assist. The bride was provided with her own bridal assistant, Kathy, who was everywhere and always asking her and even us -- the parents of the groom and the hosts, whether we needed anything. She seemed to find us in the crowd whenever she happened to come out with fresh hors d'oeuvres. We highly recommend Ellora for both, Indian and non-Indian cuisine.

    I would like to say a big thank you to John and Anisha at the Royal Ambassador, Richard and I appreciate everything you guys did for us, the staff the workers were amazing they did a great job my guests was so amaze with the venue the food and the staff everyone did well my friends and family is still talking about our wedding and the venue, again thank you, you guys are the best I will recommend this venue to all my friends who is planning on getting married. LOVE YOU GUYS

    I had my company Holiday Party here and it was an awesome experience. The staff were all very helpful and made sure they made me feel like I was important and everything I needed they took care of. They definitely made sure the night was enjoyable and memorable. Everything was beautiful!

    After careful research and consideration we booked Royal Ambassador as our venue for our wedding in August 2015. We rented the entire hall inside. The hall is STUNNING!!! The service was so amazing, very accommodating and they made the day run so smoothly. We met several times in the months before the wedding to review our meal which was amazing portuguese food. They went over all the details including all our vendors to ensure that they had the contact information and timeline of when everyone would be arriving.
    We were given space to store our decorations prior to the wedding and labelled everything so the staff would know where we wanted them in the hall. The staff were amazing and set up everything perfectly!
    Upon arrival on the day of our wedding we had our own assistant who made sure we had all our needs met. They welcomed our guests with open arms and the day ran smoothly! I would highly recommend this venue, not only is it stunning inside but the grounds are gorgeous!!

    We decided to have this wedding on pretty short notice (about 5 weeks) and went looking for a location that was both available and would take on a small wedding (40 guests). Our initial meeting with Rick, the GM, was very positive. He consistently put across the message that they were there to make our day special in the way we wanted it to be.

    We liked that they have permanent flower arrangements and candles in the ceremony room that we were free to use. We liked the outside garden area as that was someplace we definitely wanted to take pictures in.

    Because we were booking late he agreed to allow us to go below their usual 50 guest minimum. Their standard wedding menu is comprehensive with a generous cocktail hour followed by a meal with excellent entree choices.

    Their smallest room (The Duchess) was perfectly sized for our gathering, so we chose that one. We hooked up with Samantha, our event planner to cover everything from soup to nuts. Of course their were a number of things that we hadn't thought of but we easily got those settled too.

    The day of the event we were slightly nervous (of course) but shouldn't have been--at least about how they would handle their end of things. The room looked beautiful and both Rick and Samantha were on hand to make sure everything was on track. Our maitre de did a fabulous job of coordinating the cocktail hour, meal service, and cake cutting, and the wait staff could not have been more responsive. And the food was uniformly excellent. They were all over us (bride/groom) throughout to be sure that we had absolutely everything we needed. So nice.

    Rick recently purchased this property and is the middle of upgrading every part of the facility. We sat on brand new chairs (so nice they don't need chair covers). The area outside the main entrance was just redecorated; new carpet is next.

    We delt with Samantha and it was just such a pleasure to do so. She is truly an ASSET to The Rosewood. Everything and every detail went very smooth. No added stress along with the usual extra details I had to deal with for my daughter's Sweet 16. Yes! I would highly recommend The Rosewood. Food was excellent. The evening went without a hitch. Beautifully done! The Matre D (who seriously looks like Wesley Snipes lol) and staff was very curteous and on top of everything! Again, such a pleasure doing business with you!

    I had my husband's 30th party on October 17, 2015. I must say this place was absolutely beautiful, the service was amazing, and the food was great. They were able to fit everything into my budget. All my guest told me that the food was so good. I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you so much for everything, especially Rick and Samantha. I will be using you in the future.

    from the moment my husband and I stepped into The Rosewood we knew we had to have our wedding in this venue . From the beginning we were treated with professionalism Rick and the staff made our special day a dream come true ,they are by far the best place for anyone to celebrate their special day . thanks to them our wedding day was special and beautiful our families and friends loved everything the food is amazing we so grateful for everything , thanks again

    I would like to thank the Royal Ambassador from the bottom of my heart for their tremendous effort in making sure my Bridal Shower was Absolutely PERFECT for me. From start to finish everything was fantastic and the staff were flawless. I can't thank them enough and words cannot describe the excellent service that I received from Stella, Anisa, Daisy, Loraina and Marie. I received so many compliments on the food, venue and service . They all went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations!

    I am so happy that I chose the Royal Ambassador for my Bridal Shower and Wedding. Looking forward to the wedding.

    The Royal Ambassador hosted our daughter’s wedding June 20 2015 and it was spectacular. She was married in the gazebo by the lake. It was a gorgeous backdrop to a fabulous day. From the minute we arrived until the last guests left, the staff was attentive, wonderfully accommodating and eager to please.
    The appetizers were incredible, the dinner delicious. Everyone raved about the food!
    The grounds were beautifully manicured with flowers in full bloom. We couldn’t have asked for more!
    Many, many thanks to John and Daisy the owners, Anisa (I hope I spelled that right!) the coordinator and the serving staff at the tent. You were all truly amazing! We were blown away with how special we felt. We HIGHLY recommend this venue. If you’re looking for a storybook wedding, the Royal Ambassador is definitely the place!

    Held my sister's bridal shower at The Rosewood and I couldn't have been happier. I dealt with Patty for all of the planning and leading up to the event. She was so wonderful at getting back to me and very accommodating. She worked out the perfect party for my budget and everything was so easy. The day of the shower, the entire staff was so courteous and VERY attentive. Anytime I needed anything, they were right there, ready to help or figure it out. We had a "ladies only" party and every single person was so respectful of making sure no men entered our room. They provided an all female staff and these girls were wonderful! They were very professional and they ran everything so smoothly. My guests were very impressed with how beautiful the hall is and I know a few people will definitely be returning for their own parties. I would HIGHLY recommend The Rosewood to any one of my friends! Thanks to them for making it such an incredible day!

    My husband Kevin and I had our wedding ceremony/reception at The Royal Ambassador Friday June 20th 2014. We were absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous grounds, the attentive staff + delicious food. We couldn't be happier with our wedding day!
    OUR CEREMONY: outside at the Terrace Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning! As a bride being able to look out from the balcony, take a deep breathe and walk down the beautiful walk way was everything i ever dreamed of! I loved that it made my walk down the aisle nice and long so I was able to really take the time and take it all in!
    Cocktail hour/ DINNER: We were busy with photos (and we had a getaway car to go to our new house around the corner in town to take photos). As soon as we got back the staff constantly made sure Kev and I had a drink + they made sure I got to try the signature drink which I worked so hard on to come up with! After our guests said that there was an abundance of appetizers/drinks during cocktail hour. Dinner was even better than the tasting and we loved the tasting! The lobster bisque was fantastic and the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Our guests raved about the food!
    THE STAFF: We loved how attentive the staff was for us as bride and groom + to all our guests! They followed us around during our outdoor photoshoot constantly making sure we + the photographers/videographers had drinks! They helped us make sure we had everything at the end of the night to pack in the cars! I wish I remembered the specific names of the staff to mention them!
    OUR REP: Shannon was fabulous with all the planning + my one million questions. She was always calm. As a DIY bride I created most the decor, table cards, photobooth station, picture frames all my self and we had two SUVs full. She helped us bring it in and organize it prior to.
    THANK YOU to The Royal as this was the most important day of our life!!

    Nothing but good things to say about the Rosewood! They helped make our special day just that much more special! Patty was an absolute pleasure to work with and was always there when we needed her or had last minute seating re-arrangement! :) Every detail of the day was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more. Our bridal attendant Connie was great as well and always managed to have a new drink at our table even before we were finished with our current ones! Again, nothing but good things about this place, the level of professionalism and staff far exceeded our expectations. Thanks again for everything you did for our special day!

    The Rosewood was the best, all my friends and family love the venue, the staff was incredible very professional, all I kept hearing all night was the buffet spread was excellent the food was excellent, the staff did a excellent job attending to my needs as a bride, if I ever had to do another big event I would have it at the Rosewood. I have no complaints and was stress free the day of my wedding.

    Wedding of my DREAMS! I picked the absolute best place to host my Wedding. From the grounds, to the staff and the food... Every detail of my wedding was an actual dream come true.     Royal ambassador was the first venue we visited. The beautiful grounds were imprinted in our brains and my husband and I both knew, this was the venue for us. Shannon was there for us every step of the way as we planned our wedding. She quickly responded to every email and phone call, answering all our questions and making sure we perfected every detail so our day would be special. The grounds at Royal Ambassador is every brides dream come true. You have to see it to believe it, the pictures do no justice to how beautiful it is. When it came time to plan the menu, the food we tasted was amazing. (Even for me, as I am a vegetarian.) and they were able to provide special meals for any allergy or food restriction for our guests. When it came to the day of, Shannon was there helping us every step of the way to help is determine if we should move the ceremony inside, as it was raining. We made the right call and had a beautiful ceremony inside the tent. The staff quickly and seamlessly moved the chairs for our guests for the ceremony and set everything up for us. Everything flowed perfectly the day of and that is due to the amazing staff members at Royal Ambassador. The guests were amazed by the service and food. Anna (a staff member) made sure my husband and I were taken care of and brought us drinks and food as we were running around taking pictures. I can honestly say I did not stress one bit the day of the wedding. Everything was taken care of and well organized. I had the time of my life. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, my husband and I had a blast!

    We decided after looking through many venues to look into the Rosewood. After speaking to Patty and going through the hall I knew this was the place. They are super friendly and nice to work with and explain everything to you easily. My planner, Naomi, was an absolute delight to work with and made everything easy for me (especially decision making since I had to do most of them alone while my other half was in France). All I have to say is everything Came out Perfect and the food was Great! People where just talking about the great food they had for days. I do say you need to try that chateaubriand cause WOW so worth the little extra! Excellent people to work with and ease of mind that everything will go as planned! I'd do it all over again with them if I had the chance.

    The minute my husband and I stepped into the rosewood we knew this would be our venue. From the beggining we were greeted with such kindness and professionalism. The staff is just phenomenal. They are with you every step of the way. Naomi, made us feel so comfortable and taken care of everything ran so smoothly. And, the food was out of this world! The rosewood really made everything come together, it was beautiful!

    I saw The Rosewood at a bridal show and was invited to go to a private event they were hosting with more vendors. Once I showed up at the venue, I knew right away this was where my wedding was going to be. The Grand Ball room is BEAUTIFUL and PLENTY of space for my guests. The room was absolutely amazing, the service was excellent, and the price was just right. Patti and Naomi did a wonderful job assisting me with whatever needs I had or any questions and concerns I had. The suites were amazing and the staff itself the day of were fabulous. The food, omg, the food is mouth watering delicious! My husband and I received sooooo many compliments on how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. The cocktail hour alone started off with a bang. The food there was incredible as well! Mike and I have no complaints whatsoever about this place and would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a elegant, yet simple place to be married. Even getting married on site was beautiful. Cobblestone walkway with an arch and it looks so beautiful inside. The flower garden was lovely to take pictures in and having that all to ourselves and then the bridal party was amazing. Best pictures I can think of. This place is amazing and I seriously would recommend this to everyone. The people are amazing, the price is right, and your guaranteed to have your guests telling you how beautiful the place is and how awesome the food is. Ask for Patti and your in amazing hands:) Once the wedding comes, Naomi will take care of you and let you be the princess you deserve for the day. AMAZING JOB GUYS THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH!!!

    I recently had my wedding at the Rosewood on June 22, 2014. The Rosewood was the first reception venue we looked at and we signed a contract before we left due to their pricing and value and the staff's kindness and excitement for our wedding! Any time we wanted to just stop by and see our venue while planning for the wedding they were more than welcoming and gave us a tour each and every time. When it came time to discuss the details of our wedding, Naomi was extremely attentive and took notes on every detail that we wanted. When we walked into the reception hall on the day of our wedding everything was absolutely perfect! Naomi worked very well with our dj and photographer. The wait staff was very attentive and kind to the guests (and one even danced with my mother in law! which made her very happy) When we were leaving at the end of the night I couldn't believe that nothing had gone wrong! When I mentioned that to Naomi she said, "Things always go wrong, but our job is to make sure you don't know about them." and she made sure that we were focused on enjoying our wedding. The entire wedding was absolutely flawless and perfect. I would definitely have another event at the Rosewood. The pricing and value for the delicious food was unbeatable. The Rosewood definitely made our wedding unforgettable!

    We chose to have our wedding reception at The Rosewood after reading many positive reviews, as well as by the recommendation of coworkers who also used them for a wedding reception. The planning staff was very flexible in helping us accommodate guests with special medical needs and allowing us to put many of our own personal touches on the appearance and décor at the venue. They were also very easy to work with when we had questions and concerns and always followed up quickly. The night of the wedding everything went very smooth because of their maître de (Naomi) and her staff. They kept all of the people in attendance happy and came through on everything they promised us. As for the food and wedding cake, the presentation and quality was wonderful. The Rosewood also worked closely with our entertainment company (Absolute Celebrations) and everything went off without a hitch to make for a great evening. In short, great service, great food, great staff. Thank you so much. Would definitely use The Rosewood again.

    We recently had our wedding Reception at the Rosewood. Between compliments on the site itself, the food, the helpful staff, and how perfect everything was I can not think of having had a better wedding. From the moment you walk into the Rosewood you are part of their "family" and taken care of. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. The mini ice cream cones don't hurt making the day perfect either. Naomi was our Maitre D and we also worked closely with Patty. They are an awesome team. The site itself is beautiful and the centerpieces they provide are wonderful. There were so many wonderful little things that the Rosewood has that make it a perfect place to have your reception. The price is budget friendly and you get to have a spectacular wedding without having to spend millions of dollars. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone and everyone to use the Rosewood. I can't wait to be able to use them again for a party or event.

    I had my wedding at The Rosewood on November 8th 2013. I had looked at multiple places to have my wedding when I found them. They had an amazing winter wedding package that was almost to good to believe. They included a DJ and photographer that were both amazing. Patty and Melanie made sure our day went as smooth as possible. Where most halls would charge you extra for every little thing The Rosewood was including in our package. We got married on the premises in a beautiful ceremony room. There food was absolutely amazing and the biggest complaint i got was that people were so full from overeating at all the delicious food from the cocktail hour they couldn't finish dinner. the Rosewood has beautiful centerpieces that i used and also supplied us with our beautiful and delicious wedding cake that perfectly matched our invitations. i would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a amazing wedding.

    My daughter and son in law were married at the Rosewood on November 8, 2013. Melanie and Patty did an amazing job. They catered to all of our needs. The food was outstanding. No one that attended left there hungry. In the days that followed we received calls from the guests raving about the food and the service. The ceremony, DJ and the photographer were all part of the deal that went flawlessly from start to finish. Thanks for a great memory.

    We had the dream wedding I always wanted at The Rosewood. My husband and I knew this was the perfect place right when I had walked in. I always loved the style inside of this place but The Rosewood has made it spectacular. Every time we would stop by the staff was always friendly and very helpful. They made you almost feel like family whenever you came in. The whole planning process was made very easy. Our family came for our tasting where they provided a wide variety of items to taste, all delicious and all included. We loved the wedding cake they provided to us and of course the great selection of cakes we got to taste.
    We had the upstairs room for our cocktail hour and wedding in two separate rooms both decorated beautifully with lighting that they added soon after we chose them. (just another great thing they added along the experience.) I also had the room located over the driveway entrance which is a wonderful place for photos especially since it rained all day on my wedding. The service was amazing. My husband and I had someone that basically stuck with us and catered to our every wish on our special day. Our Maitre D', Melanie was wonderful and helped us with so many ideas like a photo booth. Our guests still rave about the food and service. One of my co-workers that attended the wedding and recently got engaged went back to check it out the following week. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    I knew I would have a great time at my wedding but it was even better than I could have ever imagined. The Rosewood was a big part of making it a perfect night. First I have to say they were very helpful leading up to the wedding. Anytime I had any questions or concerns I just had to call and there was always someone there who was ready to help me. In conversation they would give us ideas or make suggests, which I appreciated because I know they have seen a lot of weddings and know what works. I used a few ideas like adding a candy bar and giving people an option to pick what to toast with instead of just using Champaign. I also felt like The Rosewood is always trying to improve them selves based on experience. For example, we also had our ceremony at The Rosewood (which by the way they have one of the most beautiful ceremony rooms I had seen when shopping around for venues and I saw A LOT) we fell in love with the ceremony room when we first saw it but when we went back a few months later they had added an arch in the back of the room. When I asked if it was something new they said they added it because they realized it made pictures of the bride walking down they aisle better based on what they saw in past pictures. We had a lot of gimmicks at our wedding and The Rosewood was willing to work with us on all of them. They coordinated with the DJ and bakery for our surprise grooms' cake and rolled with the punches on all our last minute ideas. I would recommend anyone planning on having an event to highly consider The Rosewood. It's a beautiful venue, they offer more than most places and the quality of food and service is AMAZING. Thank you to everyone at The Rosewood for giving us our Perfect Day!!!

    The Royal Ambassador blew our expectations out of the water with their attentiveness, quality of service and value. The venue is absolutely beautiful. It was a first class experience from start to finish. Of course, the venue itself is beautiful and full of charm, from the gorgeous ceilings and chandeliers, spectacular grounds, waterfall location for photos, and the perfect location for outdoor ceremonies located at the your choice of two gazebo locations overlooking a tranquil lake view setting. It’s picture perfect!

    Our cocktail hour and antipasto station was a highlight with our guests which was located on the ballroom terrace overlooking the lake. They exceeding our expectations and the food is amazing, we had so many compliments on how wonderful the venue, food and service was from our guests.

    They were a pleasure to work with, we never felt stressed. Our floor manager Daisy, which was my Jenniefer Lopez for the day and events coordinator Shannon were professional, answered our numerous questions and were quick with their responses as well. I had an absolutely beautiful day, I could not have asked for anything more. They truly made us feel that our wedding was one of a kind, special, and showed us they really cared about ensuring it was everything we dreamed.

    I absolutely recommend The Royal Ambassador to couples looking to host an onsite ceremony and reception. Thank You Royal Ambassador for an unforgettable wedding day!!

    I worked with Patty when putting together the contract and she was great. We were debating on whether or not to have ceremony on site and she didn't push us in any direction but did allow us to pencil in a date. She also gave some tips on locations in the area. She worked within our budget and had the answers we needed.

    As the date got closer, we were introduced to Melanie (our Maitre D) and she was just as great. Melanie has such a calming presence which is very helpful for a bride leading up to her wedding.

    The staff at the reception were great as well. Very observant and attentive!

    Cons:
    Not their fault it's in a bit of a "strip mall"

    The Royal Ambassador located in Caledon, Ontario is a magnificent venue. The beautiful ambiance, delicious food and ever so helpful staff exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delightful, so tastey and plentiful. The staff was on task, always there to help, provide and serve with a smile on their face. Our guests could not stop ranting and raving about this hall. The landscaping, trees, lake, rocks, waterfall fountain and all of the terrace provided our guests a comforting area to socialize, eat, drink and simply enjoy. Domt miss out on what the royal ambassador has to offer. By far the best of the best!

    The staff, vanue, and grounds at The Royal Ambassador were amazing!!! From the first appointment with Stella we had just such a good vibe from this place. We than had the opportunity to deal with Shannon throughout the planning process who provided Excellent customer service in getting back to us always promptly and responding to each and every one of our questions/concerns with honest advice. The grounds on our special day were kept so amazingly nice that it felt like everything was freshly groomed just for us. Lastly we had the pleasure in dealing with Mary our head server who was so sweet and kept making sure everyone was being taken care of. We would recommend this venue to everyone!! Thanks

    Melanie and staff were great!!! They made sure everything was perfect for us on our wedding day. They helped everyone with seating arrangements. We didn't have to do anything but have fun. At the end of the night they packed everything up for us and even allowed guests to take their leftovers home!!! We are so glad we chose The Rosewood for our special day.. It was Epic!!     We are so happy to have The Rosewood be the caterer for our wedding and venue. We loved the food, and professionalism. All of our guests loved all the food at the cocktail and especially the Latin dishes such as pernil, and ceviche. There were so much food that people had seconds and even took some home. Everyone loved our signature drink as well. Everyone loved the atmosphere. Wanted to thank our Matron Dee Laura, she was so wonderful and helpful with our all our wishes. Also have a great staff from our servers and bartender and very approachable. All of our guest are still talking about the food.     Phenomenal customer service! All the staff from event coordinators/waiters/waitresses and bar tenders were quick to handle any requests or questions we had throughout the entire evening. The food is fantastic! Our family and friends still talk about how great everything was from the beautiful garden views, to the amazing food and fireworks!! We highly recommend Royal Ambassador Event Centre!

    Our wedding at the Rosewood was amazing! We were so happy with everything and our guests will not stop talking about what a great time they had, how fantastic the food was, and how everything was put together so nicely. The staff was extremely helpful both leading up to the wedding and on the big day. Patty made us feel right at home from the first day we visited the venue, and helped us through the entire process. One of my favorite things was "there are no no's"...meaning pretty much whatever we wanted to do, they would make possible! Melanie was very professional and made our reception run smoothly and beautifully. She was very attentive and made sure to provide whatever we needed. We would recommend The Rosewood to any of our friends because we had such a positive experience. Thanks again for everything and making our special day so perfect!

    We had booked our engagement party at Royal Ambassador for July 28, 2013.
    The service we received from when we booked our appointment to meet with Melania was a very smooth experience. She made it simple by giving us all of the options, as well as all disclosures.
    Even though this was a party of 115 people, and there were also many changes, the staff were always accommodating and never made it feel like a nuisance with constant changes to the menu & guest counts, even up until the day of the event.
    The level of service and professionalism on the day of the event was amazing. From the moment I walked in to help set up some last minute changes (the receiving table, and personalized table numbers etc), I was greeted by the wait staff, "What can I do to help you?".
    The food was amazing, the staff were great and never once seemed annoyed at any changes or requests that we had made to them.
    I would definitely recommend this venue not only for the beautiful grounds, but for the great food and phenomenal service we received. We would definitely be booking The Royal Ambassador for our wedding if we were not doing a destination wedding.

    My husband and I had our wedding reception on June 8th at the Rosewood Caterers, and it was undoubtedly the best decision we made! From the moment we met with Danielle we were instantly made to feel like all of our needs would be met and that we were a top priority. Then we met Melanie. What a match made in heaven! The moment my mother and I sat down with her we knew that she shared our desire for everything to be "just right". All of our needs were met with a smile. Danielle, Melanie, and the rest of the wonderful Rosewood staff made our evening absolutely memorable. Oh and the food! Our guests are still raving about the quality and the portions of the food. We worked with Melanie and the chef to make the most exquisite mac and cheese and mash potato bar- who knew they could make such a simple thing elegant and delicious! With the Rosewood you are getting the most amazing value for the price you pay.

    The Rosewood was the absolute perfect venue. They were so professional in everything. They were so attentive with all my needs and answered all my questions. Danielle and our Maitre D and all the staff there were excellent and catered to every single person, not just the bride which I loved. I also loved how they were completely on top of all of the arrangements, and communicated every step of the way, and there were no last minute surprises. Plus, the building is gorgeous and so comfortable and the food is delicious. My guests are still talking about how perfect everything was. The Rosewood is the perfect wedding site!

    I had my daughter's baby shower here on 4/6/2013. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful venue this is. The value beat any of the 6 venues I checked. The food was raved about by our guests. The staff helped me plan this while I was a state away. They were more than professional and went above and beyond what anyone would expect. We had 75 guests and they all could not believe the attention the staff provided.
    I would believe any wedding, anniversary, shower, or sweet 16 you may have here will be raved about by your guests for a long time...I know ours has been!

    After spending 3 months meeting with various halls, golf courses, and event centres Royal Ambassador was the best choice we made. We fell in love with the beautiful grounds, high waffled ceilings, chandeliers, classic decor, and more importantly our co-ordinator. Rarely do you meet a vendor who will go above and beyond BEFORE you give them your business. Knowing how important it was for us to book this venue but being really stuck on dates, our co-ordinator actually called another Bride and asked if there was a possibility of her getting married one week later. She made it happen, and in turn ensured our wedding was perfect from that moment forward.
    The entire staff at the Royal Ambassador was exceptional during the entire event! Such attention to detail: bringing me water during the receiving line (which I didn't even asked for), bringing me our 'signature drink' to ensure I didn't miss out, constantly waiting on us at the head table, and also providing this same service to our guests.
    They helped with clean-up at the end of the night, and really went above and beyond our expectations (which I admit are usually very high).
    During the planning process there was always someone available to answer our millions of questions, and they were so flexible with the planning. They really made everything easy and not overwhelming.
    The food was delectable, and I highly recommend the antipasto bar during your cocktail reception -- it wasn't just finger foods but hot dishes of chicken, veal, etc. Our guests do not stop talking about it!
    Couldn't have imagined going with anyone else.

    We were very lucky in that we had our wedding on a public holiday Monday, and so we had the whole venue to ourselves, that included both gazebos, the lakeside gazebo for our ceremony and terrace gazebo for our cocktail reception, plus the full ballroom for our dinner and reception, and the conservatory for children's playroom! The reception hall was beautiful, other than center pieces and some staging, we used the halls chairs and linens, the service was impeccable, and the only thing that went remiss was that some of the veggie appies ran in short supply, but as the catering was for a mix of English and Indian food, this might have been a reflection on the indian caterers sub-contracted by the hall vs the reception hall itself, who tried to make alternate veggie options when the issue was discovered. All in all, experience was great, and everyone who attended fell in love with the location!

    The crew at The Rosewood made our wedding an amazing event. Our wedding was less than a week after Hurricane Sandy and Rosewood was able to pull off our entire event as if they weren't even effected by the storm. Throughout the entire time prior to our wedding at The Rosewood, they were really flexible and helped us make this event unique and special to us. The Rosewood was able to cater to a lot of the details and cultural rituals which were important to us. Rosewood was definitely the best value in the area. Many others we checked out in the area were charging 1.5x more money. The interior of the ceremony room, cocktail room, and grand ballroom was impressive and the food was great. Our guests talked about our event at The Rosewood for weeks following our wedding and at least two other events have been booked because of the awesome job the crew did for our event. Best of all, the day of the wedding was stress- free thanks to our amazing maitre- d Melanie. Once you visit, you'll know the Rosewood is the best place for your event!

    When we first went to The Rosewood we knew were dealing with the highest caliber of people. After our initial meeting with Danielle there was no doubt in our minds that this was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. During our planning the staff at The Rosewood treated us like gold. Each time I called or stopped in they made me feel like our wedding was the only one they were working on. They never rushed me or made me feel like I was bothering them. When we met our Maitre d’, Melanie, we were blown away by her “can-do” attitude. Our every wish was met and they exceeded every expectation we ever had.

    The day of our wedding everyone greeted us and made our bridal party feel welcome. When Melanie showed us the ballroom tears came to my eyes. I had a clear picture of what I wanted our reception to look like and I was floored that the final result went beyond all my expectations. Every detail was perfect. Each table was set up precisely how we had requested. Our cake was absolutely breathtaking – it looked exactly like what I had envisioned. As we made our way around all night our guests raved about the food at both the cocktail hour and dinner. We heard nothing but compliments from everyone not only about the food but about the exquisite service.

    I have been to a number of weddings over the years and perhaps I am a little biased, but I am running out of ways to describe how perfect ours was. I owe that to The Rosewood. Danielle, Melanie and the entire staff of The Rosewood went above the call of duty. We felt among family when we were with them. They are the kindest, sweetest people with the most professional attitude and they have the skills to pull off an event on a level like no other. They truly make a bride feel like hers is the only wedding happening which is more than anyone can ask for. We will remember our wedding with nothing but positive memories for the rest of our lives and we thank The Rosewood for that from the bottom of our hearts.

    The Rosewood is a hidden gem!!! We got married at The Rosewood May 2012 and everyone is still talking about it. After visiting several reception halls, we picked "The Rosewood" to begin our life together. Why? Because of the staff!! They made us feel like we were their only client, like I was the only bride getting married that day. Our special day was special to them too!! The prices are excellent for everything that we received; wedding chapel, cocktail hour and reception!!! We couldn't ask for a better day. Thank you Patty, Danielle and Erica for everything!!     From the first time we walked into The Rosewood, we felt like we were family. Every person we spoke with was kind, helpful and sincere. Everyone was as excited about our wedding as we were! Danielle was amazing through the whole process from start to finish. She answered all of our questions big and small and was always willing to bend over backwards for us. As we got closer to the wedding, we were paired up with Melanie as our maitre d'. She was just as supportive and helpful in the weeks leading up to our big day. On the day of our rehearsal, we definitely had some nerves! Melanie did a great job of guiding us through the whole rehearsal and assured us that when we showed up the next day we'd have nothing to worry about. She lived up to her promise! On the day of our wedding we had so many staff members handling every aspect of the day. Every single one of them had a smile on their face and sincerely enjoyed what they were doing. We were guided from one part of the day to the next so flawlessly. We didn't have to think at all, just enjoy our day! From bringing us drinks in the garden during picture taking, to tending to the bridal suite, to making sure we enjoyed our reception from start to finish, the staff at The Rosewood exceeded all expectations. We feel so lucky that we found The Rosewood and had the wedding of our dreams! Thank you!!

    Future Brides go to the Rosewood They are the all in 1 package deal!!! They work with u so that all your needs are taken care of and that your day is as perfect and the least stressful as possible. My Husband loved it the minute he meet Danielle she welcomed us with open arms. Then Melanie she knows her job and does it well she was on point with everything. These girls are great!!!The Place is clean , elegant, Food is delish , Staff is wonderful and helpful all my guest loved our wedding!!! Thank you guys for helping to make it such a memorable nite!!!!!!

    From the moment I walked into the doors at the Rosewood, I was welcomed with open arms with friendly smiles and attitudes. I had been to other reception halls previously and had been treated as if it was a burden to give me a tour - that was until I met Danielle. After an initial meeting with her, I brought my husband back that weekend. We were amazed at how inexpensive, yet elegant the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception rooms were. Immediately we put down a deposit because I did not want to lose out on such a wonderful place. I had dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl and on my wedding day, everything was just as I had hoped. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely courteous to not only my husband and I, but to all of my guests. I cannot thank the Rosewood enough for making my wedding dreams come true! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

    The Royal Ambassador is a great place to have a wedding, it has it all, spectacular views , great food and professional and friendly staff.
    Our wedding was perfect, and I had many guests compliment the food and the venue.
    I hope I can be a guest at someone's wedding soon, so I can sit back and enjoy!

    We were overall very satisfied with The Rosewood as our reception venue. They required minimal involvement on our part, so pretty much everything was taken care of - that was a big stress relief! Danielle and Erica were delightful to work with.

    Things to be aware of:

    1. Make it clear that if you want specialty beverage items, i.e. fancy beer, you are willing to pay for that extra expense, and tell them you're willing to seek it out yourself. We were told that they would go through a distributor, and they did not. They could also not find beer that's usually readily available.

    2. If you specify a mashed potato bar or chinese food station during cocktail hour, it will not be available during your private cocktail hour - it's just for guests only. We would have requested to have it during ours if we had known.

    Both of these things were mildly disappointing to us, but not significant enough to negatively impact the event, so they still get 5 stars from us. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

    The Rosewood is an absolutely Beautiful venue for your wedding - The food was amazing!!! Everyone went home full. After your guest are served dinner, they have an option of getting seconds; which my guests loved!!! The people there from Daniel to Patty to Melanie are the best - Melanie was with me my whole day and ensured there were no hiccups in Our Big Day! I could not have chosen a better place for my wedding!! The price was excellent compared to other places that didnt offer half as much as they do and my wedding cake!!! DELICIOUS! Which is included in your package! All in all it was the best experience of my life and I have to Thank the Rosewood Caterers for that!! Hopefully I will be able to have my daughter Sweet 16 there as well!

    The Rosewood did an excellent job at making our wedding day perfect! The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They were so helpful and worked with us to make sure our reception was everything we wanted it to be. We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding reception at the Rosewood!

    My husband and I chose the Rosewood after an extensive search for the perfect venue. I am so pleased we went with the Rosewood. All of our guests had a wonderful time. Melanie, our maitre'd, was great. She was always calm (even when I was freaking out), extremely professional and accommodating. The food was amazing. Our guests could not get over how much food was served from the cocktail hour with the Asian Themed Wok Station to the five course dinner with seconds if people wanted. The quality of the food is just as impressive as the quantity.
    The grand ballroom was perfectly sized for our 140 guests, plenty of room, but didn't feel cavernous. Our photobooth was perfect in the back of the ballroom (Melanie's suggestion) and it really did create a great flow amongst the guests. Also, we were married on sight and our guests loved having everything in one location.
    Again every detail was attended to by the staff. I gave a lot of homemade props for the wedding (a memorial table setting, cds for favors, table numbers, card gift box, flipflop basket, bathroom baskets, etc) everything was put out just the way I had requested. I had not worries that day! Lastly, for the price I don't think you could ask for more.
    I wouldn't change one thing about that day.

    When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we we're looking for the following things in our ceremony and reception venue:
    1) A place where we could have both our wedding ceremony and reception in one place (no 4-5 hour wait in between)
    2) Something out of the city that was still easily accessible and had ample parking for guests
    3) Something that was scenic, elegant, and classy - where we could take our pictures as well.
    4) A place where we felt we would be very well taken care of both during the wedding planning and they day of our event. This was especially important since both my husband and I were both no longer living in Toronto at the time and were planning the entire wedding remotely.
    5) Did I mention I'm a Taurus (aka stubborn perfectionist) and can be pretty particular.

    We pretty much knew what we were looking for from the start, so we considered 3-4 places based on our criteria, however as soon as we went to visit The Royal Ambassador we knew this was the perfect place. Here's why:
    1) We were able to have our ceremony outside in the gazebo, and the reception in the East Ballroom. We had about 150 guests. Everything in one place!
    2) It was easy to get to, not far from Pearson Airport (half our guests were from out of city or town), good selection of hotels near airport, Brampton, Mississauga, and there was plenty of parking that guests didn't have to pay for!
    3) The grounds were absolutely gorgeous (gazebo, waterfall, lake, and beautiful trees that were changing colors in the fall when we got married), and the hall was classy and elegant with high ceilings, chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, and a lovely terrace.
    4) While we fell in love with the place, it was the staff (Stella and Angie to be specific) that really made the whole experience very enjoyable. From start to finish Stella and Angie were very personable, helpful, attentive, detail oriented, and organized. I really appreciated their help and insights during the planning process which made our wedding day so great. One thing my husband and I found extremely helpful was they provided a list of vendors covering everything from photographer to DJ to cakes to decorator. This saved us a lot of time searching for potential vendors (as my husband and I were not located in Toronto), and I can honestly say everyone we worked with was professional, courteous, and did a great job. There weren't any no shows, surprises or disappointments.

    Feedback from our guests during and after the wedding:
    1) Many commented how lovely the place was, and several of them also said had they known about The Royal Ambassador when they were getting married they would have done it there.
    2) The staff the day of the event were courteous and professional and made sure our guests weren't out of food or beverages (we did have open bar but for dinner had wine, water on the tables). Our guests all said the food was very good and there was plenty of it. In fact one guest thought the antipasto bar we had chosen for the reception after the ceremony was the dinner!
    3) Our wedding party and many guests commented how well run and well organized the wedding was. The event ran on time and to schedule (not kidding) and food was served in a timely manner. My husband and I had heard many horror stories from friends, family and just even reading on the internet of ministers not showing up, waiting for hours for dinner to be served, flowers not showing up, etc. We did not have one single problem.

    I can honestly tell you that having our wedding at The Royal Ambassador was the best decision my husband and I made. It was a truly pleasurable experience, and we had a really fantastic day.

    love, Love, LOVE The Rosewood! They were the first venue I looked at and even though I went to look at others, no other place really struck me....I had already found "the one". I really clicked with Danielle during the tour and we had initially started planning a March wedding but the venue looked so beautiful decked out for Christmas, we couldn't resist and wound up booking for December. We wound up hosting our wedding in their Garden Room and our reception in the upstairs ballroom. They were very responsive via email and they had great recommendations for vendors (I found my awesome officiant through them). This place took of details I never would have thought of; my experience with them was the easiest part of my wedding (seriously, not even joking). The day of our wedding Maitre D Melanie was like the conductor of a well-rehearsed orchestra, everything was humming along without a thought from myself or the groom. They coordinated with the florist and baker, arranged my framed photographs, set out the favors, at the end of the night they made sure everything was ready to go home, the list goes on and on. The food was amazing from the cocktail hour to the reception. Everyone loved our signature drinks (The Moontini, thanks Melanie!), the decor, the waitstaff, and all of the little details. I can’t say enough I about them and my guests are still buzzing over the whole thing. You would have thought I paid a fortune for such individualized attention but they are an amazing deal, who knew such a gem was right in my own backyard?

    We celebrated our wedding at the Royal Ambassador in August. I had been there for multiple past weddings and events and had a great time every time. All past events I have been to at the Royal were all in the main hall, but when I saw the amazing view from the tent I booked it right there and then.

    Luckily the day of our wedding was beautiful... a little hot, but beautiful. We set up the head table on the side of the tent that faces the lake and opened all the walls. I received so many compliments on how beautiful and picture perfect the background scenery of our head table was.

    The service was amazing! Every time I asked for something it was brought to me before I could even finish my request.

    Dinner was served very quickly. It seemed that everyone received their food at the same time, which was amazing considering we had 200 guests. Many compliments were also given on the food, which was great to hear (since banquet style food is always a bit iffy).

    It was an amazing experience and I would not change one thing!

    I thank Stella for ALL of her help! If it wasn't for Stella's everyday experience in weddings and events I may have forgotten some very key items! Stella made our wedding day completely stress free! She advised me during our first appointment that the staff would take care of everything and for me not to worry or stress. Thankfully I took her advice and she was RIGHT! The staff took care of everything!! If anything went wrong I had no idea about it. I spent my entire night dancing and having a great time with my family, friends and new husband!!

    Thank you Royal Ambassador and Stella for ALL of your help and making our wedding day the best experience ever!!

    Royal Ambassador is an amazing venue to have your ceremony and reception - if you are lucky enough to book it - they are in demand. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in late october followed by an amazing reception. We had a large wedding and the food, service, atmosphere was unbeilievable! if we had to do it all over again - we wouldn't change a thing!

    The Royal Ambassor team was an absolute dream to work with. From the very moment we stepped foot into the venue we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. The entire team and especially Stella made sure our wedding went off without any problems. ...
    The food was amazing... I am still having people tell me how much they enjoyed the food... it was incredible.
    We were hoping to have our ceremony outside, however mother nature was not on our side... but the Royal Ambassador team set up the conservatory and it was still beautiful.

    The grounds are beautiful... This venue is tucked away in the country side and it has the best landscaping around the property with a beautiful lake and gazebos and a water ful and beautiful trees surrounding it.... it took my breath away.
    The way they set up my sweet table was immaculate... it was just stunning... they really know what they are doing over there and I am so glad we had our wedding there and I would recommend this venue to anyone.

    The venue was beutiful, the food was great and "Patty" is fantabulous! Just had my ceremony and reception there on 9-10-11. This place is top notch.     Wow! Wow! Wow! It's already been two and a half weeks after our wedding reception and everyone is still raving about the food at The Rosewood!! I've been told before by someone who has attended a wedding reception here before that the food was great, but having the chance to taste it ourself, it exceeded our expectations! The variety of food they offer was abundant! During hor's D'ouvres alone, we felt satisfied already, and dinner and dessert surpassed it!

    The staff are very friendly. We first met with Danielle who helped us book for our date. They were also and very accommodating, as they he helped us make adjustments with our concerns for our drinks. They even had our cake made beautifully, just as I had requested and drawn it (it was included in our package). And Danielle, our maitre'd, so calm, so poised, and so patient!

    Additionally, Their garden looked beautiful as the flowers bloomed more during our August Wedding. The Rosewood looked gorgeous as the night progressed, with the lights on the staircase and the chandeliers. All-in-all we were impressed, and would recommend The Rosewood!

    The Rosewood was the absolute perfect venue. I didn't have to worry about a thing - which is perfect for any bride! They were completely on top of all of the arrangements, and communicated every step of the way. There were no last minute surprises, and everything was delivered as promised. Plus, the building is gorgeous and so comfortable. A perfect wedding site!

    To the Rosewood,

    Kane and I want to thank the whole staff for the fantastic job they did on our wedding. We truly felt as if we were King and Queen. Starting from the very second the bridesmaids walked in, we were greeted with delicious cheeses, fruit and champagne. Every staff member continually asked what we would need and returned quickly with any request. The whole night flew by in less than a heart beat. Luckily we have the pictures and video to remind us of the small details. Despite the fact that we couldn't take pictures outside because of the rainy weather, the Rosewood has such beautiful scenery inside that we didn't need to be outside. The pictures came out fantastic, especially the ones in the bridal suite. The ceremony was amazing. It looked absolutely perfect inside. The staff made sure everybody walked down the isle appropriately and controlled the possible anxiety driven jitters. All of the staff was amazing however Melanie specifically took care of me personally. She was wonderful and made sure every little detail ran smoothly. She was the one who met with all the vendors and made the whole day smooth and easy. So thank you so much Melanie and the rest of the Rosewood staff!!! Kane and I had a wonderful day and wish we could do it all over again every month! :) The Rosewood is truly an amazing place to start your life together.

    The Rosewood did an outstanding job with our wedding. First, they didn't pressure you at any time from our first time walking into their facility up to the day of the wedding. They were the most friendly of all the reception halls we visited. They didn't discuss any other facilities as we found when visiting other places.

    Danielle who booked our wedding was the best. She didn't rush you and was the most pleasant person you want to deal with. The food was fantastic, They catered to our every request. They decorated our cake beautifully from a picture provided. I added a Candy Buffet that they set up as pretty as a picture. They accommodated my every need. They had enough servers the day of the wedding and our Matre D Melanie was very professional, pleasant, friendly and helpful.     This is a great venue with amazing service. They treated me very well and I was super happy with everything. They were professional but kind. I had an amazing wedding there and am very impressed. Highly recommended. Also, fireworks are a must!

    I could not have asked for anything better. This place not only looked beautiful and had great pricing, they went above and beyond. Everything was amazing. They even came around with second's at dinner. Everything tasted great and I couldn't ask for more.

    Overall we were very pleased with our wedding at The Rosewood. All our guests complimented the quality and quantity of the food as well as the professionalism of the staff for their service. Every detail we asked for was taken care of as far as extra elements we brought into the venue for our special day. We felt our winter wedding package was a great value and the money we saved from the package let us spend in other areas. Our only complaint would be the heat. The ceremony room was too cold. All the other rooms were fine. But overall, we would highly recommend The Rosewood for your wedding. Considering all the elements involved for a wedding, we were quite pleased overall. You can't beat the value and I think they will get better and better over the years. Additionally, both Patty our matre'd and Danielle in the office were wonderful to work with. They made us feel like family while planning our special day.

    This was indeed the happiest day of my life and I owe a huge thanks to the Rosewood to ensuring I was happy. I would like to especially thank Patty and Danielle for all there help and support in making this day come true for me and my husband.     When I was a little girl, I dreamed of a wedding that was right out of a fairytale for myself... Last Saturday, my dream actually came true!!! The Rosewood, was by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The Long Oak Staircase that led up to my reception room was so elegant. In addition to that, the romantic lighting made my wedding look so surreal, it was breathtaking. Each room, including the Halls that led into my Reception room, were decorated with such a classical style decor that also included pictures of My husband and I, made the day so personalized I couldn't picture anything better. However, the elegance of the place wasn't the only part that made my Wedding so fantastic, it was the Rosewood Staff. They were so professional and caring, it was if they treated me like their daughter who was having her reception there. I felt so catered to & truely cared for that I have created memories with the staff that will last a lifetime. Lisa & Patty, who played the biggest role in making this day so special, were two of the kindest and most loving people I have ever met!!! They did everything I asked for and more and I will miss seeing them ( but I will be having any other event I have there, so they can't get rid of me that easily!!!) Now, let me talk about the food. People cannot stop talking about how amazing the food was!!! I have a huge Italian family...and even they were stuffed (which takes a whole lot of good food, let me tell you!!!) Hands down the best food I have ever tasted!!! And everyone who went to my Wedding has completely agreed...Plus my wedding had over 200 people who attended and yet there were no lines for the bars because the bartenders worked so quickly...and the room was so Big I could have fit 200 more and nobody would have noticed!!! I could go on and on about the Rosewood because it really was a dream come true...every detail down to the home-made cookies and coffee for the car ride home were taken care of...If you want a classical, beautiful, breathtaking Wedding like no other...all you have to do is find a Groom, put on a white dress...and The Rosewood will literally take care of all the rest!!!!

    I was very happy with the service and professionalism of The Rosewood. All of the staff from managment and maitre D was amazing. They were very thourough and understanding to my needs. The Rosewood assisted and guided me to make my wedding dream come true. The food was amazing and their attention to detail was impectable. I would definately reccommend The Rosewood to everyone. Their prices were affordable and the service and elegance was far above the cost of everything.

    Where can I begin.well, my wedding was this saturday, 9/19/2009..When we originally looked that the Rosewood it was called Vicoran Manor..we were actually going to book the reception under that... And to be honest, we are really happy that we booked under Rosewood because the new owners did such a great job with remodeling and with the menu..The staff was and still is great..Steve, Danielle, and Patty were always there when i had a question..Somtimes i thought i was bugging them, but they still put up with me..hahaha..Anyway, everyone who works there were great!!..very attentive, professional, and super nice!!!..As for the food, not only was it wonderfully yummy, but there was soooooooooo much!!..some of our guests thought that cocktail WAS the dinner!!...our guests couldn't stop eating the food because it was s0o ridiculously good!!..we especially got many compliments on the dinner and cake!!..the dinner was gigantic, and even thought our guests stuffed their faces with food at the cocktail, they ain't more at dinner!!..everyone loved the mini ice-cream cones and fondu cart..many of them felt like a child again..Rosewood is an amazing place, and they really made our night very special..we couldn't have done it without them, and we would like to say thank you very much for being a part of making our wedding AWESOME!!...many of our guests kept coming up to us and asking *where did you guys find this place??..its so nice*..many also said, *it's really hard to find a really nice place with awesome food, but you guys did!!*...so to the the whole the Rosewood staff - WE THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY VERY MUCH!!..we really appreciate all u guys have done!!..it was a GREAT night!!!

    as for the packages, ours was spectacular!!..it came with a lot of things, and the price was very reasonable!!..we were actually shocked on how great it was..=)

    So, to all the brides that are shopping for a reception hall, try Rosewood out..they are a WONDERFUL place, and i'm sure they won't dissappoint you!!!...i highly reccomend them!!!

    Let's say where do I begin with this......What better place to start that than at the beginning. I booked with The Rosewood when they were under the old company name Victorian Manor. The staff from the start of things were very accommodating and suggestive. We had a particular budget and they customized a package for us that was extensive, thorough, and grand to say the least. In the midst of my wedding planning is when the hall changed over to The Rosewood and things were still wonderful. No question, or suggestion I had was ever frowned upon and the staff was always helpful and available to help me. Brides tend to panic and although I was pretty calm, there were times that I had concerns and was always reassured by the staff that everything would flow incident free.

    Moving right along to the weeks preceding and up to the final day. I worked with Danielle for most of the planning and as it got closer to the day, Patti began to work with me. Future brides, I promise you THEY ARE THE BEST. Organized, helpful, cheerful, are just a few words that can begin to describe how helpful these women were. They gave me great time lines and communicated with me whenever necessary. On the day of, Patti, who was the maitre d, was so accommodating. Every need that I or the groom had was promptly addressed. However, that accommodation was not limited to the bride and groom, two weeks after the fact, I have guests calling me to let me know just how wonderful the staff was to them as well. My mother-in-law was so pleased with the service that she is considering having her 60th birthday luncheon there.

    The staff was extremely professional and Melanie, one of the staff members, did an excellent job in helping me maintain my sanity in the bridal suite as it was clear that I was a nervous wreck.

    The food.....most couples never get a chance to sit down and eat on their wedding day as they are so busy greeting the guests; well I made it my business to eat as the staff raved about the food and they were absolutely, positively right on point. The food was great. Nice and hot, good flavor and fresh.

    The price/package we received as aforementioned was great. We definitely got a great deal and the service and professionalism went hand in hand.

    With that being said, if I had to change one thing about the day, it would be to NEVER let the night end. My hubsand and I, family and friends were very happy with our day at The Rosewood.

    I can not thank the Rosewood enough for everything they did for our wedding, they truly made it an amazing day. My friends and family were absolutely blown away by the food and service. Everything went very smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. I would highly recommend the Rosewood to anyone.

    Having a wedding seldom goes off without problems. I would just like to say that the service provided by the Rosewood and their staff was exceptional. We received nothing but compliments on our daughters big day. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was our Maitre'D Patty. Not only did she make sure the bride and groom had everything they needed, she also made sure my husband and I were taken care of as well. It was a beautiful reception and a pleasure not to have to worry about anything, even the minor details.We were able to spend the time with our guests instead of making sure things ran smoothly. Patty did it all for us. Patty made sure everything we left behind was wrapped up and ready to be picked up the next day. She has a great sense of humor and a wonderful personality. We highly recomend Patty and the Rosewood.

    I hosted my daughter’s wedding at The Rosewood and cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful service. At first I was originally contracted with The Victorian Manor. Then I was informed that the owners of The English Manor purchased the facility. You can imagine how overwhelmed I became not knowing who they were or what kind of service I could expect. Well, I can honestly say that The Rosewood staff delivered exceptional service. It started from the moment I began planning the wedding details with Lisa Truesdale. She truly helped me to feel more at ease and she took my anxiety away.
    When the day came, Laura was our Maitre’d and she did not disappoint me in any way. The most important thing to me was that the food was to be served hot. The food was not only served hot, it was outstanding. It was served promptly with constant service and the presentation was also beautiful.
    I have received over thirty phone calls from my guests who stated over and over how wonderful the wedding was. Even my dear friend who works for another catering facility complimented the affair by stating, “It was a high end celebration”. I highly recommend this facility for the quality of service they provide.

    My wife and I had our wedding reception here at Ellora on June 11, 2016 and it was amazing. At our wedding we had over 500 guests so we used the entire building, the upstairs ballroom for the reception and the downstairs 3 rooms for the cocktail hour. The staff was unbelievable at the wedding reception, they were so attentive and went out of there way to insure that we were taken care of. Peter and Ashley were amazing in getting us things that we needed. We got the Indian menu for dinner and the western menu for the cocktail hour and the food was so good. I would recommend this banquet to anyone. So many of our guest came up to us and told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. The one negative is that we did have a to battle a little for things that we were verbally promised, if they mention something in negotiations please do make sure that you get it on the contract. In the end they worked that out with us. Regardless the event went great and we had such a great time.

    The Rosewood staff were professional, responsive and fully committed to making our reception a wonderful party for all of our guests. Our guests loved the cocktail hour and raved about the amount and quality of the food. The sit down dinner was also exceptional and the mini ice cream cones were a big hit!
    Our only hesitation was that we thought that there would be a staff person at the entrance to direct our guests to the 2nd floor and it did not turn out this way.
    We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great space, food that your guests will rave about and professional staff that are easy to work with.

    I was married two weeks ago on April 20 at The Rosewood. It was everything I dreamed of and so much more! My husband and I fell in love with the place (and Patti) from the moment we first went there, and everything was exceptional from that point on. Danielle, Laura, Melanie, and the rest of the staff made sure we didn't stress over anything. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and the one stop for everything was so convenient and the ceremony room is breath-taking! My guests are still raving about the food and how absolutely gorgeous the facilities were! They even accomodated a last-minute, day of guest to the wedding without a problem at all. The mashed potato bar was my absolute favorite, and we have gorgeous pictures from the garden out back. Absolutely amazing wedding at an absolutely phenomenal venue!!!!     All I can say it Oh My God!!! I have never been so happy with a place and every single individual that has worked at that place EVER. We stumbled upon the Rosewood while looking for wedding venues on-line. Most people never make it down to the R's on a list but I was determined to get to the end of the list, boy was that the best thing I could have done. The Rosewood was the first place we visited and the Patty was very friendly and knowledgeable. The venue was gorgeous and the selections as far as food, and price were excellent. We fell in love instantly. We were told by friends and family that we could not just go with the first place, therefore we visited more and nothing compared to The Rosewood. As the wedding came near we met with Melanie and she was totally awesome from start to finish. The day of the wedding came and everything ran without a hitch. Melanie and staff were very professional, my husband was so happy because he always had a fresh "Miller Light" on the table. The Food was excellent people are still talking about it and very plentiful. Our cake was beautiful. Everything turned out just how we had always imagined. I would recommend The Rosewood to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with amazing people and great prices. They get an A+++ in my book!

    I love the Ellora and everyone in it! I'm so happy I chose this venue. They were so accommodating to my needs. They really made our wedding day extra special. The only two negative things to say are that we didn't get our take home food when we were told we would. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to eat during the reception, so we were supposed to have that food to go. Also, there were supposed to be two bottles of wine on each table and they didn't put it. Kathy, the bridal assistant, was great. She's so cool and fun to be around with. Be careful with her, she will try to get you drunk. Peter, the manager, was spectacular! He really made it happen for our special day. He was on top of everything and everyone. Ashley, was a beauty to work with. She was responsive when I would show up at the venue or when I called, text, or e-mailed her. Thank you The Ellora staff for being so attentive and awesome!     We were recently married at The Rosewood and I can't express how happy we were with everything! From the beginning, Patty and Kyle were helpful, informative, kind and answered all of our many questions. They worked within our budget and made some great suggestions. Kyle was our maitre'd and was great. He kept checking in on us throughout the day and took care of any requests we may have had. He was in touch with me days before to go over all the details and everything that I had communicated was done exactly the way I had asked come wedding day. The food was OUTSTANDING! Everything was so delicious and the little ice cream cones at the end were a big hit with our guests. I highly recommend The Rosewood to couples!

    I had my wedding there August 16, 2014 and it went by without a hitch.

    It all started with meeting Shannon/Stella/John the owner. We signed the contract with John but Stella and Shannon helped me with the planning. They were both amazing with answering all my emails and all my questions. No complaints there at all!

    The first concern the day of the wedding was that we were getting married under the gazebo that day and, of course with my luck, it was raining. I was so upset. I got a call from my husband and he told me I had the choice between inside and out. I chose inside since I didn't want my guests to get wet. I think my husband was on the fence and kept the decision to himself until the VERY last moment. Everything was set up outside and when he told the hall we wanted to do it inside they reacted without a flaw!

    By the time I got there, everything was already set up and ready to go. There was no confusion and I felt like everything flowed smoothly.

    A big Thank You goes out to Marie who not only did everything in her power to make our wedding day unforgettable but she also did it with such earnest and love. She was there while we were taking pictures asking if we wanted something to eat or drink. She was on top of everything that I didn't even think of. She was On. The. Ball. I cannot thank her enough for all her help on that day.

    Overall our guests were marveled at how beautiful the hall was and how amazing the food and service turned out to be. The dessert bar at the end was unbelievable. They made it so that my husband and I were the first ones to see it before they allowed the guests in. That was sweet. I didn't eat any of it but it all looked AMAZING. Everyone had a blast and that was all I could ask for.

    The only complaint I had was that our food was NOT the same as it was at our tasting. It was delicious regardless of what they gave us but the meat and the fish did not match what we had at our tasting. Whatever.

    Royal Ambassador was the perfect venue for our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. I also had my bridal shower in the tent, and that was stunning as well. The team at Royal Ambassador was great! They were very professional and accommodating. Shannon was our point of contact and she did a wonderful job. She was always available to meet with us, or to even answer any questions we had. We were very happy with the service they provided and will use them again for our future functions!

    We had our reception at the Rosewood in October 2012. The day went by very smoothly and all our guests loved the place. The Rosewood provides excellent value and was very reasonably priced. The whole planning process was easy and staff was responsive. The bridal suite is gorgeous and the entire venue is very pretty and great for taking pictures, inside and outside. Our cake looked just like I wanted it to and all our guests commented on how great the food was. I loved that food was provided for the bridal party and that our maitre d, Melanie, was always asking us if we needed drinks. The set up of the tables and the decor was excellent. I highly recommend the mashed potato bar. Staff was also very accommodating and removed the decorative hay in the front foyer which I disliked. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding reception here!

    I had a great overall experience dealing with the Royal Ambassador. Stella, our coordinator, was fantastic and quick to respond to any questions and concerns my wife and I had. The food was great and the venue was amazing. Our wedding was in the greenhouse and thankfully the weather held up for us and all of our guests. Don't even think twice about not booking at the Ambassador. They are professionals and helped make our wedding day perfect.

    We got married at the Rosewood in May. Overall, we couldn't have picked a better venue for our money. I must've dragged the Mr. to about 20 venues over two weekends. The Rosewood was the second to last venue we saw and when we walked out of our meeting, we both knew it was the one. We drove to our last venue, but didn't listen to a word the person said when they showed us around. We left and called Danielle from our car to get our date secured. We loved Danielle and she sold us on the place. The moment we told her what we were thinking, she got so excited for us and started showing us similar things other had done - and her getting excited for us, got me more excited for us.

    The Rosewood is a traditional hall (something I had to get past) but fit the bill of everything on our checklist: a ceremony and reception in one location, a cocktail hour where people would actually be able to sit (I hate nothing more than attending a wedding - in heels I can’t stand in - balancing my purse, my drink, and a plate of food - while making conversation for an hour), outdoor space for photos, open bar, delicious food, and most importantly – affordable as me & the mr. were paying for everything ourselves.

    We broke down our top 5 venues by cost, number of items offered through each meal (cocktail hour; reception), etc and the Rosewood was far above and beyond all of the rest best bang for your buck - particularly for a mid-may wedding!

    When we came into our cocktail hour half way through, some of our guests started telling us how great everything was and they were so full - I had to inform a number of them, this was only cocktail hour! I was a little sad at how much I wanted the mac and cheese from our cocktail hour, but couldn't find it anywhere when the time came.

    If you sign, be sure to find out everything they have to offer! It was until after I spent $50-$100 on dishes for our candy bar that we learned the Rosewood had really nice jars to offer us! We wound up mixing our with theirs.

    They're extremely flexible with your needs. We wanted a specific ice sculpture and a non-traditional cupcake tower in place of our cake. It took a bit to work it all out and we had to pay extra for each - but it all turned out perfectly. I didn't worry one bit on the day of our actual wedding. Our maitre'd took care of us, Melanie also stopped in a bunch even when she wasnt assigned to our wedding which I had been a bit sad over, the staff attended to our guests when needed and offered special attention to our parents to make sure they were happy.

    When we first signed up, they mentioned another wedding was already booked in the room upstairs that was holding their ceremony off-site so it wouldn't interfere with us... a few days before the wedding I found out it wasn't another wedding but a high school prom! Panic set in as visions of drunk rowdy teenagers danced in my head. But the Rosewood did an amazing job and we never even knew they were there. And in the end it was quite serendipitous since the first date I had with the Mr. was to his junior prom.

    We've been to a number of weddings since that our guests have also been at, and they just stop raving about how great all of the food was! You certainly won't regret if you book here. We got our friends to book here for October and look forward to getting to eat the food all over again!

    My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Royal Ambassador. Our ceremony was amazing and the staff was very well organized with ensuring that there was an appropriate amount of time between our ceremony and other ceremonies. Stella and Angie were very helpful with any concerns that we had prior to the wedding. Stella set up many dates that we could come see other weddings of similar sizes during the set up and Angie was available and helpful during our planning process. Both were flexible when we wanted to add the midnight BBQ station on the terrace (which was a real hit), and arrange our first dance in the gazebo (at no added cost).

    We had the main hall for our reception, and so after our ceremony, our antipasto bar was set up on the terrace for our guests to enjoy. We had the opportunity to take our pictures right there on site while our guests were enjoying the terrace.

    The food was served hot and delicious, our servers helpful, and the entire night was great. I do not have any complaints regarding this venue. I have attended weddings there since, and have had a great experience each time. I was fortunate that my wedding date was not on a peak date and so I was able to negotiate a reasonable price. I recommend that anybody who falls in love with this venue but not the prices considers off season dates.

    The Royal Ambassador set the stage for a fabulous wedding that people are still complimenting me on over a year later!

    We were very pleased with the Ambassador. Shannon was our contact person throughout the planning and organization stages and she was very helpful and quick to respond. Marie was our go-to person on our wedding day and she was fantastic. She made sure everything ran on schedule as it should, made sure we had food and drinks, and even calmed my nerves right before walking down the aisle! You don't realize how valuable her role is until you have been in a wedding where you don't have someone to do this for you. She made our day/night run so smoothly, we really can't thank her enough. The food and service was excellent and our guests are still raving to us about it. The only thing that we were not pleased with was the showing of the venue to other people while we were getting our pictures taken, so we kept having to stop to let people through and/or be watched by strangers as we were having our pictures taken. They had also recommended the Monte Carlo Inn as the host hotel, but that hotel and the staff/service was absolutely awful so would 100% suggest you go with a different hotel.

    We had our East coast wedding reception here, including cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, and everyone complimented how well organized everything was, as well as the impeccable service, and tastiness of the food.
