Wedding 2025

We had our wedding here over the weekend, from the moment I inquired about the venue I was beyond impressed. The organization, beauty views, helpfulness of the staff and so much more. I was not stressed one moment as the coordinators had every single thing under control. They go above and beyond their jobs, what is included in the package is so beyond helpful when planning your wedding. I never wanted the night to end. I cannot thank them enough for all they did

We had our wedding at the Paramount Theatre and it truly felt like something out of a movie—perfect for our movie-themed celebration! From the moment we walked in, the historic charm and stunning architecture set the stage for an unforgettable day.
The staff was incredible—attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which let us fully enjoy each moment without stress. The lighting, the ambiance, and the grandeur of the space made everything feel magical, like we were starring in our own film.
Our guests are still talking about how unique and beautiful the venue was. It created such a memorable experience, and the theater’s character added something truly special that you just can’t replicate anywhere else.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, history, and a little bit of cinematic magic, this is it. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to start our forever!

A Wonderful Experience

We had a flawless wedding experience at the Meyer Ballroom at the Paramount Theater in Aurora, IL. I grew up driving past the area with my family and never realized it was a wedding venue—neither did many of our guests! It truly felt like a hidden gem.
The Paramount team was amazing from start to finish. Special shoutout to Morgan, who gave us our first tour and made us feel confident and excited. She helped us envision how the space could transform into the perfect setting for our celebration, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the early planning stages. On the big day, our coordinators Molly and Jess were incredible—organized, calm, and on top of every detail. Their presence allowed us to fully enjoy the day without stress, knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. They kept us on schedule and even helped my maids of honor surprise me with a life-size cutout of Jacob Black from Twilight (a hilarious inside joke!).
The ballroom was elegant, spacious, and beautifully lit. Our guests loved the ambiance, and we loved how smoothly everything ran. If you’re considering the Paramount Theater for your wedding, especially the Meyer Ballroom, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The team is exceptional, the space is gorgeous, and they truly care about making your day unforgettable. They were very flexible with our budget and any changes we needed to do. Definitely a great venue.

Best Wedding Ever!

Our wedding at the Meyer Ballroom was absolutely perfect! The venue is stunning—clean, elegant, and with a beautiful location right next to the Paramount Theatre and the river. Working with their team, especially Morgan, was a dream. She was incredibly friendly and made our night feel so special. She worked seamlessly with all our vendors, including our caterer, Reulands. We especially loved the personal touches, like having our names on the Paramount's marquee and the poster-sized photos displayed. We highly recommend this venue!

Absolutely recommend!

We are so happy we went with Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom for our wedding. The staff at Meyer Ballroom is amazing!! Morgan and Molly were always attentive and answered all our questions in detail and in a timely manner prior to the wedding. Jess did a great job coordinating our rehearsal and she, Molly, and Dan, were wonderful on the day of the wedding. They were so on top of things, they made the day stress-free and run smoothly. Everything was set up perfectly by their decorating assistants, and the room flip went great. Everyone played a huge part in making our wedding the best day of our lives! There are also so many beautiful spots to take photos near the venue. The ballroom and atrium are so spacious and the view is very pretty. We can’t recommend this venue enough!

Made our Day the Best Ever!

We had our wedding at the Meyer Ballroom on September 5th 2025. Our day was just as we planned. Everyone at the venue was amazing and the event went off amazing. They have this wedding thing down to a science. I would a million times reccomended!

Awesome venue for our wedding. Emilie Margaret, Molly, and Morgan were so incredibly helpful, organized, and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. The staff went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. Concerns and questions were always answered in a professional and timely manner. Excellent Service

My daughter had her wedding at the Paramount Theatre Grand Gallery and it was absolutely amazing. The setting was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better event. Molly was the primary contact leading up to the big day and she was our primary contact (day of coordinator) on wedding day and she was amazing. She made sure everything went smoothly and it did. The entire staff was extremely helpful proactively addressing any of our needs. The bride was very calm and relaxed in large part because things ran so smoothly. I am so happy with the Bride & Groom’s decision to have their wedding at the Paramount Theatre Grand Gallery and would highly recommend it. Thanks to everyone for making the day even more special.

Amazing Venue!!

We got married this past October 2024.The staff was amazing! We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the grand gallery of the paramount and all our guests were in owe of the beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue with amazing accommodations.

Best decision!

We could not have picked a more perfect place for us to get married! Jennifer was very responsive from the early stages of messaging on The Knot. We set up a venue tour and the rest was history. We knew the Paramount Meyer Ballroom was our choice mid tour and put a date on hold before we walked out the door! We left with such a good feeling in our hearts. They have so many great options that are included in the price (amazing bar package, beautiful venue space, 2 table cloth options, comfortable chairs, beautiful centerpieces, a view that’s hard to beat and so much more) and then many upgrades that are more than fairly priced! We worked closely with Emile-Margaret throughout the entire process (but everyone we worked with was phenomenal!) and we asked if she could be our day of coordinator for our special day (spoil alert, she said yes 🤗). Emile-Margaret was available for every question we had and was very thorough during the entire planning process. She worked around our scheduling conflicts for our 3/6/9 month consultations and kept us on track with our decisions! I loved that the Meyer Ballroom offered venue viewings for all couples that have already signed with them. This really helped with making our vision come to life and testing out different decor options without being rushed and making rash decisions. It was the most magical day and that’s all thanks to Emile-Margaret and the entire staff at the Paramount Meyer Ballroom. If you’re looking for a venue that has your best interest at heart and really cares for you as a couple then the Paramount Meyer ballroom is the place for you! Thank you Emile-Margaret and the Paramount Meyer Ballroom for everything! Truly a dream come true.

Once in a lifetime

Me and my fiancé (now wife) booked at this venue for our wedding. From choosing our date after our initial meeting to saying “I do” in front of the beautiful river view our experience was everything we could have asked for, and then some! Things we didn’t even know we wanted, we’re made available and help was there every step of the way! From regular check ins to make sure vendors and details were being planned for to recommendations when we weren’t sure where to turn, this staff nailed every single detail. Their preferred venders were amazing and the day of staff was there for everything we needed to make sure photos, and timelines met our expectations. So many of our guests commented on how friendly and helpful all of the staff was. Not to mention the bar package blows away every other venue we looked at. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Fabulous venue in every way!

We highly recommend the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom for any event! We held our wedding there in April 2024. The venue is absolutely immaculate and offers a beautiful setting for a wedding. The Fox River makes a lovely backdrop and the lights of the Paramount's marquee add a sparkly accent. But the service that the staff provided is absolutely the star of the show. At every step of the process they were responsive, friendly, helpful and accommodating to our special requests. The price is right, too - a very affordable venue with lots of complimentary add-ons, such as the centerpieces, which saved us money. And the icing on the cake is the free theater ticket for each guest which we used as the wedding favor. The complimentary valet service made it easy for our guests to attend.

Also, because there is a smoking patio outside the ballroom, we were able to offer our guests a Cigar Bar, which was a unique touch.

We chose a round head table for a smaller wedding party because we wanted to be able to talk to everyone, and it worked great!

5 stars for sure, we hope everyone considers this venue!!

Our Wedding Dreams Come True

After attending amazing shows at the Paramount for years and being season subscribers, I was thrilled to learn they hosted weddings. The Paramount always puts on an amazing show and our wedding was no different! I was so impressed with all of the details they helped us bring together to craft the wedding of our dreams. It was a magical experience from beginning to end. They have a handful for preferred vendors you need to chose from for catering and entertainment, but honestly I found this made the vendor selection much less intimidating. The vendors are in a range of price points and our wedding coordinator at the Paramount walked us through that information. We met with the Paramount wedding coordinator periodically throughout the planning process. Those meetings helped us remain on track with the planning and reminded us of small details we may have forgotten. Planning can be stressful, but Emile-Margaret and everyone at the Paramount were so amazing. I highly recommend them.

Amazing To Work With!

The Team definitely did an amazing job throughout the whole wedding planning process! Their responses were so prompt. The venue itself was beautiful. The transitions throughout the day were seamless as well because of how the venue is.

And our Day of Coordinator, Emile-Margaret, she was literally perfect to work with. She actually showed us the venue, and sold us on it. And on the day of, SHE WAS ON POINT! We were so thankful to have her help. She also did an amazing job with connecting with all of our vendors.

Amazing Team with answering all of our questions. Just thankful to have worked with them and to have had such a perfect wedding day!

Beautiful Venue for Couples on a Budget

We just had our wedding there this past weekend and it honestly went perfectly. Our guests complimented the views, tall windows, and outdoor balcony. I felt taken care of the day off, and it felt that way the entire planning process. I was able to visit multiple times, bring my own decor (although they offer some free), received quick responses, and got great suggestions on everything from decor to schedule. Sam is amazing and so on top of it all. The place was also very reasonable price wise.

A very joyful summer wedding day

We chose paramount after viewing a few other places across Chicago and nearby Suburbs. They won our business. The space is beautiful, the services and support offered is great and convenient especially if you’re planning yourself. We had a very memorable time and highly recommend this venue.

You gotta book now

Absolutely the best bang for your dollar without having to compromise on beauty of the venue! We looked at a lot of venues in the chicagoland area and nobody came close to what Paramount could offer. They made the whole process super easy-even for me who had no idea what I wanted.

The venue is gorgeous, the staff super communicative and accommodating. Our day of coordinator Emile-Margaret even came out with water bottles while we were taking photos at the venue before the reception. I’d highly recommend.

Book The Paramount Theatre for your wedding now! You won't regret it!

If you're looking for a sign to book here, do it! The Paramount was so wonderful through the entire process of our wedding. Affordable, flexible, all of the right things built in to make the process easy while also allowing flexibility for your day. If you are lucky enough to get Sam Haywood as your consultant consider yourself lucky, even during her own maternity leave she was always on top of it and every little question I had was answered in such a helpful way. When we were helped out during her leave by other consultants they were JUST as wonderful and helpful. Truly, all our guests were gushing about how beautiful the venue was (we were in the Meyer Ballroom). My mom who has planned two other weddings for my older sisters and been in a lot of wedding planning meetings and venue visits immediately said it was the easiest and best venue tour she'd ever had in her life right after we met. We booked like...the next day. Add a little magic of the theatre to your big day!

Wonderful!

Our wedding was this year in March. Due to Covid we had to postpone twice. The staff at Meyer Ballroom were awesome with accommodating us during these difficult times. When our day came, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue handled communicating with all of our vendors and made sure that everything was in place. Everything was beautiful. I have no complaints. The venue is beautiful and all our guests loved it. Our Coordinator Breanne was very pleasant and polite and always smiling. I would recommend this beautiful venue to everyone I know. Now my family friend Arnita Perdue is an event coordinator. A Dream to Work With

Choosing to get married at the Meyer Ballroom was a no-brainer! The Atrium is the perfect location for a ceremony, and with the edison-bulbs and dangling lights, it made for beautiful pictures. The Meyer Ballroom overlooks the river and the Paramount Theatre, which makes for a stunning back drop during the reception. I also love that they let you choose from a list of caterers; we went with stations from Reuland and still get compliments on the food. The staff at the Meyer Ballroom is 10/10. They all made the process so smooth, from the months leading up through the day of, each person I worked with was a joy. I can't recommend them enough!

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Staff...Dream Come True!

We were married in May of 2022. Our ceremony took place in the beautifully remodeled Atrium, and our reception was in the next room over in the Meyer Ballroom. The venue created a picture-perfect space overlooking the Fox River in downtown Aurora, IL. Our wedding package gave us the option to use their gorgeous wooden arch for our ceremony and the option to use their beautiful lantern centerpieces for our reception and so much more! I was so thankful as it was one less thing we needed to decide on. Our package also included complimentary valet parking which was so convenient and appreciated by our guests. The Events Staff, THE DREAM TEAM, as we often referred to them as-were wonderful through the whole booking and planning process. Every single person was always willing and happy to answer any questions we had. Sam, our Event Coordinator was a godsend! She was so professional and fun, and her communication with us was perfect! We would not have had the wedding we had without her help! Our day was a dream come true! A huge THANK YOU to Sam and the Events Team for making our day so very special and for ensuring everything ran effortlessly!

Perfection!

The Paramount was the perfect place to get married! The venue is updated and beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and everything was so amazing. So much is included in each package, and the wedding coordinators are so helpful. I would choose the Paramount a million times!

The Perfect Venue!

I could not be happier with the Meyer Ballroom. As a COVID Bride, there was that extra level of stress in planning a wedding and the Meyer Ballroom and Briana helped make this the wedding of my dreams through it all. Amazing Value!!

The venue was beautiful and we were just so happy with how everything came out.

Amazing venue

Meyer Ballroom is beautiful and the only place to celebrate any event! We had our reception there and it was fantastic! And the bridal suite was just amazing! The centerpieces were pretty lanterns provided by Meyer so I didn't have to waste time or money on 15-20 floral arrangements. The riverfront is a gorgeous area for pictures and the new atrium is just fantastic! But the best part of Meyer is the staff! We had to reschedule due to Covid and every step of the way Breanne and Brianna were there to help make the transition as smooth as possible. No extra stress or worrying!

A calming experience in an unpredictable world!

We loved working with the Paramount Theatre and the entire events team! A very special shout out to Briana Jackson-Webber and Breanne Dunfee, they were so kind and understanding during the pandemic and we were able to reschedule our reception (multiple times) to a later date with ease! They both worked hard to turn a stressful situation into a gorgeous evening! The venue is beautiful, clean, and such a unique place to celebrate our love (FINALLY)!!

Perfect Setting

The Meyer Ballroom is the perfect setting for a wedding. It is located next to the river in the heart of downtown Aurora and we could not have asked for a better venue. Breanne and her staff were professional and had everything under control. Without a doubt, I highly recommend the Meyer Ballroom.

A magical experience I'll never forget!

Ballroom was the first and only place we looked at for our wedding ceremony and reception. We are SO glad we did. Kelsey, Breanne and Sam were the most amazing women to work with! While Kelsey started with us she soon was promoted to a new position and Breanne took over and she didn't miss a beat. She knew all our details and what we wanted and was an excellent communicator. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is everything I could've ever wanted. If you are looking for a place to have both ceremony and reception then look no further. If I could do it over again I would choose Meyer Ballroom every time. It does not disappoint and the photos from the downtown Aurora area are exquisite. Highly highly recommend!!

Beautiful Venue and Excellent Staff for an Effortless Day

This is a beautiful venue for both ceremony and reception! Especially the atrium after the remodel, it is simply gorgeous. Not only did the venue and location work great for us, but the staff really is what got us to choose the Meyer Ballroom as our venue. From our first interaction at a wedding expo to the first and second visits, throughout the whole process of getting to our big day everyone has been spectacular and quick to respond to emails, specifically Kelsey and Breanne. Breanne was our coordinator for the day (which is a huge plus since you don't get that everywhere). She is so kind and accommodating and always checking in and helping making sure everything is running smoothly. She made the day feel effortless. We truly recommend this to anyone looking for the place to say, "I do!"

Couldn't have asked for a better place to get married

From the first email through the wedding day Paramount provided the best customer service I've ever experienced. We worked with Kelsey and she was amazing. No matter what problem I had, late rsvp changes or forgetting to plan a vendor dinner table, she had a solution. She was there for us again on the big day making sure everything went smoothly and helping us with set it. She helped make it so I could actually relax and enjoy my day. The beautiful, recently renovated, atrium was the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and the view of the fox river from the ballroom was breathtaking. To top it all off they have a large bridal suite equipped with it's own private bathroom so I didn't have to worry about someone seeing me before it was time. I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. When you book with Paramount, you're not just booking you're venue, they are so much more!

Our wedding at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom was a dream

We just got married at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom on October 26, 2019. Everything was so perfect and exactly what I wanted. They have multiple options for where you want your ceremony to be. We chose the staircase of the atrium and it looked so beautiful. They also provide a list of preferred vendors which helps with the craziness of choosing between places! Breanne was our day of coordinator and it was extremely helpful to have her around (and deliver champagne to the bridal suite every 5 minutes)! She made sure everything went smoothly from set up to take down. Overall, Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom is nothing less than amazing. We had so many compliments all night about the beautiful venue and friendly staff. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

Perfect Venue

From our first visit to our wedding day the event coordinator staff (especially Kelsey) were phenomenal. They did everything they could to help us in every step throughout the planning process and make our day special. Kelsey’s professionalism, ability to work with us to stay in our budget, easy and prompt communication, and vendor and picture location recommendations were just a few reasons why the Meyer Ballroom was perfect for us. The valet and ticket vouchers were perfect added touches to make our planning easier. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe most of that to Kelsey and the Meyer Ballroom.

A beautiful venue with incredible staff!

Working with the Paramount for our ceremony and reception was incredible. They helped us keep track of everything and made planning a breeze. They provide a coordinator to assist in the planning process- Kelsey was amazing! She helped answer every question we had, sent friendly reminders, and was there the entire day to help with each and every detail- pinning corsages, making sure our guests were comfortable, keeping us hydrated, everything. She always asked us our thoughts and preferences on how we pictured our wedding, and went above and beyond in all ways possible. We can't thank her enough!

The venue itself is beautifully maintained and has been recently renovated, has an awesome and fresh "bridal" suite with private bathroom, along with a separate room for the other bride/groom, and plenty of space for guests to move around, both in and outdoors. The river walk creates a great atmosphere, and the windows let in so much natural light. Tons of photo ops to boot!

We could not recommend this venue more! Thank you to everyone at Paramount for making our day simply perfect!

In the midst of a season full of stress, working with the Paramount Theater/Meyer Ballroom team was bliss, and I truly mean that. I'm so grateful that we chose our venue first, because the Meyer Ballroom team was such a help with the rest of our wedding planning, and they handled so many of the details for us. From the very first venue visit to the follow-up emails after our event, I knew I could trust this venue with my wedding vision, my guests, and my budget. Kind, honest, thorough, and prompt communication from all staff members. Expert help from professional event coordinators. Wonderfully thoughtful extra touches (ask about the favors they provide for each of your wedding guests!). And absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Beautiful venue and AMAZING coordinator!

This venue was absolutely amazing for our wedding! We were able to have our ceremony in the Copley Theater which was the perfect place for us and our Movie Night theme. Couldn't be more perfect

When we were looking at wedding venues my heart ached to get married at the Meyer ballroom in the evening. We were not quite sure how we were gonna do it but we took the plunge! And I must say it was one of the greatest decisions we have made. The staff at the Paramount events made wedding planning a breeze and answered all my questions without any hesitation. They're amazing list of vendors were so helpful. The venue is so beautiful that we didn't feel like we needed to over decorate. Downtown Aurora gave us the slight feel of a Chicago wedding without all the craziness. We couldn't have picked a better place to say I do. We are so thankful for the amazing staff that held our hands throughout the process!

We are so glad that we chose the Meyer Ballroom for our wedding ceremony and reception. From day 1, they were willing to work with us to make sure we they met our needs. Also, they gave all of our guests a ticket to see one of the shows at the Paramount Theater as a favor. Compared to other venues we looked at, we felt that the Meyer Ballroom was the best value. They offered a few bar packages to choose from and also let you choose your own caterer. We also loved the location. Being in downtown Aurora on the river walk, there were a lot of different spots within walking distance that we were able to use for our wedding photos. We also loved the the Meyer Ballroom had so many windows with a nice view of the river. I'd highly recommend this venue for your wedding or special event.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Paramount's Grand Gallery and it was GRAND. Kelsey was our event coordinator and she was awesome to work with. My husband and I planned most of the wedding as our bridal party was out of town and had a lot of last minute things to take care of. Kelsey was an angel in disguise as she helped us handle all the last minute things. Kelsey was very accommodating of what we wanted and suggested a few things we could do differently. We gave her the USB for our pictures to display at the day of rehearsal which was very last minute and she made it happen. As a bride I was not sure about a lot of the details like if I have enough breath mints or to-go cake boxes and Kelsey ensured I had just the right amount. Our guests were in awe of the venue. The custom marquee sign and red carpet added extra bling and made both us and our guests feel like celebrities. We LOVED the dance floor setting and the entire setup. The staff was very attentive to all the guests and ensured all the glasses were filled and the guests were taken care of. Both the guests and the bride and groom had a wonderful experience. Thank you Paramount for not only making our dream wedding come true, but also making it a PERFECT day!

The Meyer Ballroom is a gorgeous place to have a wedding. We picked the location because of the wall of all windows facing the river. There is a really nice patio as well. The staff at the Meyer Ballroom are great. They are very flexible on meeting times and working with your schedule. They are great at helping to guide you through the wedding planning process.

When searching for a venue everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I'm so happy we decided to get married here! The venue was beautiful and their wedding coordinator Jordan was SO helpful, she answered every email immediately even over the weekend.. she helped set everything up and take everything down, I can't say enough good things about her and everyone involved. The Aurora Public Library has hosted its Teen Talent Show and Competition at the Copley Theatre for seven years. The professional sound and lighting has made it the perfect place for our show. Our teen performers love the experience so much that many try out for the competition year after year until they are no longer teenagers. Everyone at the venue has been easy to work with through the years, especially Bill Pope, who gave us a tour and tips on how to have a successful show.

Where do I begin? Bill Pope & Kelsey Swindle were absolutely amazing. We have 0 complaints. From the moment Bill showed us the spaces and gave us a tour, we both felt strongly we had found our wedding venue home. Bill was Everything, I really want to emphasize that. Very thorough, very friendly, and after the rest of our tours that day of different venues, BILL sold us on paramount. The beautiful spaces helped a bit too, I suppose ;)

Bill also handled my many emails and was extremely attention to detail in helping me understand the contract. And I had a lot of questions. Bill was an absolute dream to work with. I attempted to ask him to come to the wedding very early on!

And Kelsey was a serious walking angel on Earth. She also handled my many emails with fantastic response time and handled our vendors by calling them to set up deliveries the day of. I have tears in my eyes writing this because we are SO THRILLED with the level of service Bill & Kelsey provided. Unmatched by anyone else. And we have 4 other venue tours to prove it! :)
We used the Copley theater for our ceremony, the atrium for cocktail hour, and the Meyer ballroom for reception. The Copley was really fun and the stagehand Craig helped make the ceremony whimsical with his sound, lighting, and curtain know-how. There's even a backstage area to take fun photos in or get ready in. The atrium sells itself and we were able to print large movie posters to pop into their frames to showcase (we loved this unique addition). The ballroom also sells itself. The long glass windows show the fox river. The wood floors can input a dance floor anywhere in the room that you want.

Well done, Kelsey and Bill! It was you two who made our day what it was. The spaces only helped make our photos beautiful. THANK YOU a million times over.

We had our wedding ceremony at the Copley Theatre and our reception at the Meyer Ballroom last weekend. It was by far one of the best choices that we made! Everyone on their staff is very helpful and made our day so special. The entire venue is very beautiful and we highly recommend it!

I had the honor and privilege of officiating a wedding ceremony and asked to stay as a guest for dinner. The staff is fantastic, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate anything in their power. Cocktail hour began and this is when the staff kicked into high gear making last minute changes to seating requests and whatever else the couple needed before dinner. I was impressed by the food and amount of food served during cocktail hour. Dinner was buffet style and my table was the last called up to get in line for food. I thought it will be cold, soggy and blah (like many reception buffets). It was hot, fresh and FABULOUS! The photographer and I were both shocked at the top notch quality of the food. We recently had our wedding reception at the Meyer Ballroom. The venue was absolutely perfect in both location and the Meyer Ballroom staff that helped make our event such a success.

For location, the room has a great view of the Fox river that adds a nice aesthetic during the day and is magical at night when the street lights come on. Our photographer used this as a setting for some extra pictures of my husband and I on the patio overlooking the river—an added bonus. (On a sidenote, many guests at our wedding also took advantage of the beautiful view and I’ve already noticed several Facebook friends who have updated their profile pictures with a family picture on the same patio. It’s just such a nice view.) It is also connected to the casino and not a far walk from Ballydoyle, which gives your guests a good place to go if they want the party to continue after the reception.

For staff, you are assigned a wedding coordinator as part of the wedding package. We worked with Jordan, who was wonderfully responsive and accommodating. I was definitely not ready to tackle all of the details that go into planning a reception, but Jordan was on top of everything and helped keep us on track. On the day of the event, she was there the entire day making sure that everything went off without a hitch. In addition to her professionalism, she is also incredibly pleasant and easy to work with.

With everything that is included, the Meyer Ballroom offers a very competitive wedding package. This also made it a no brainer for my husband and I to pick the Meyer Ballroom as our reception venue. I would recommend to any bride to check out the Meyer Ballroom. With the convergence of wonderful staff, location, and a valuable wedding package, this was a dream location for us and an event that we and our family will remember fondly for years to come.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Paramount's Grand Gallery! We had our 190 person wedding in August in the Grand Gallery. The venue is absolutely stunning! We were looking for a venue that was different than the standard banquet hall, when we found the Paramount Theater. We were blown away with how beautiful everything turned out. With how stunning the theater is, center pieces and other wedding day decor was a breeze because the venue is so gorgeous on its own. On top of it all, the staff was superb! We worked with Kelsey and she was amazing...organized, friendly, knowledgable and quick to jump in when we needed some support, especially the day of the wedding. (We needed some extra microphones for the ceremony musicians, and Kelsey jumped in to get them set up, without hesitation.) For how stressful wedding planning can be, there was no stress when it came to matters of our venue. We can't even begin to describe how wonderful the staff and venue are. The space comfortably held all of our guests. The dance floor was perfectly centered for everyone to see and get to, even from the second floor. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better! The Paramount was PERFECT!

We held our art-deco themed wedding reception in the Paramount's Grand Gallery in July 2017, and we cannot thank Kelsey enough for her work on our special day. From set-up the day before to take-down after the reception ended, she was a machine. Her communication was clear, her processes were efficient, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the second we arrived to the moment we left after the perfect night. Plus, the entire staff working our wedding was cheerful and polite. I'd recommend the Grand Gallery to anyone looking to have a unique, glamorous, memorable heck of a party.

The staff at The Meyer Ballroom did a wonderful job with our wedding. Jordan, the coordinator was responsive, understanding, and very detailed-orientated. My husband and I were recently married and had our reception in the Grand Gallery. Every details of the day was perfect and the staff were amazing. During the planning process every question I had was answered quickly which was a big relief since we were planning our wedding from 6 hours away. This venue is perfect for any couple looking for a venue that offers a class, romantic, and elegant feel.

We were married at the Grand Gallery earlier this month (ceremony and reception). Everything was exactly how I dreamed it would be. From the venue tour back a 18 months ago to the clean up after The wedding, the staff was friendly and accommodating every step of the way. We appreciated the day of coordinator, Briana, ( who was a rockstar!) she helped so much with contacting vendors and making sure everything was in and on time for the day. We wanted a unique venue that our guests would never forget. We loved the ease of planning and the beauty and charm of the theatre itself. We have gotten so many compliments and are sure we will continue to get them years down the road!! Thank you!!

Aurora Downtown, an organization of property and business owners, held our mayoral forum here for the 2017 election. Planning began before the primary, so we had 4 candidates schedules to work with - along with the Sweeney Todd shows to work around.

The Paramount staff was above and beyond accommodating from the signing of the contract to the day of event details, they even sat in on committee meetings to make sure they didn't miss a beat. From Bill Pope to Jenna Hahn, I can not say enough good things about their professionalism and flexibility in making our event a success. They were truly a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again.

We love working with the Paramount! They understand and help with all questions we have. They are able to ask questions about our event that we haven't even thought of so that we have no hiccups the day of the event. We held 2 days worth of catered events at the Meyer Ballroom. Kelsey made everything seamless. She was patient, kind and had everything set. I felt confident and comfortable from the beginning, she had this. I would highly recommend having anything here. The view is beautiful, staff is incredible and the location is ideal.

We held a corporate event at the Paramount Theatre in August. It was spacious, pretty, and large enough for 350 people to move around. We were able to have a nice catered lunch, team building events, and corporate presentations with ease. This is a great place to book for an event!

My husband and I had our reception there at the end of July. We got engaged in February so it was quick planning and the Paramount was amazing the entire way. The space itself was beautiful and a great value (we were not looking to spend a lot). It overlooks the river with a whole wall of windows and has pretty dark laminate/wood floors. Everyone we worked with was very responsive and professional. Kelsey was our coordinator and she was AMAZING! She was so helpful along the way and went over every detail with me, especially the ones I hadn't even though of. She was patient with my indecision because I really didn't have a specific way I wanted anything done, just wanted everyone to have a fun night! Also, parking the night of really wasn't an issue! They provide the bar package and you use an outside local caterer from a list they provide (we used Enticing Cuisine). If you are looking for a local venue with an affordable price, the Meyer Ballroom is the way to go!

I did not expect to enjoy the actual day of my daughter's wedding as much as I did, I thought that as the mother of the bride that I would have to "manage" the event, but the whole day was a blast, due in large part to all of the pre-planning that was done with members of the Paramount staff prior to the big day. They were extremely thorough and helped us to plan out and realize our vision so that the day of the wedding went very smoothly and we could enjoy the day with our guests without any unexpected bumps. The venue is beautiful all by itself, but they allowed us to bring in a lot of personal touches with photography and floral, a unique table arrangement and a signature drink. We had cocktail hour in the original lobby, dinner in the Grand Gallery and dancing on the stage. All of the vendors and staff worked together to make it an extra special event and it was amazing! We even received thank you notes from some of the guests for inviting them to attend. It was an unforgettable day from start to finish.

We used the Grand Gallery which is the venue across the street. We were so surprised that we could get our wedding date and it was the easiest choice we made. The vendors provided were amazing and we could do little things that made our wedding so personable without the high cost. Included is the best open bar choice you could ask for, a great event manager that actually listens to everything you ask for, and a HUGE venue space! We picked the best option, and our guests reactions and pictures show it!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Meyer Ballroom and couldn't have been happier with the outcome! We were so lucky with the weather and the ceremony on the outdoor plaza turned out lovely. We had such an amazing experience having our wedding and reception at the Paramount Theater. We chose to have the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom and the reception on the theater stage. We couldn't be happier with both location decisions! The Grand Ballroom was such a lovely setting for our ceremony and the Paramount was gracious about allowing decorations and for us to make it our own.

The stage was really the best spot for a really fun and lovely reception. It provided a unique atmosphere for us and our 130+ guests. There was plenty of dance floor space even with all of the tables and chairs and the open bar. The open bar was a big success with the guests (believe it or not) and totally worth doing. The venue, with open bar, and an outside caterer and bakery, all fell under our budget. We felt like we got away with something having paid such a reasonable amount for such a fun, beautiful, historic, unique venue. Guests kept asking how we found out about it. The lighting on the stage also happens to be really great for flattering photography. The view from the stage is also quite stunning. If this were in Chicago it would be booked for years and way more expensive!

Our Event Coordinator Kelsey made sure everything went smoothly and was so helpful, resourceful, friendly, and even calming. They Paramount even had a pretty little bridal room for me and my bridesmaids. The bridal room was equipped with Champagne, a full length stand-alone mirror, headache medicine, snacks, two free tickets to a show at the Paramount and other very helpful amenities.

Had our reception in the Meyer Ballroom in July this year, and couldn't have asked for anything more! The view is spectacular, plenty of room for everybody. This place has a great at home feeling. The people that assisted there, from the Event Coordinator to our Bartenders were all professional and fun to work with. I would highly recommend!

We had our ceremony in the Paramount's Grand Gallery and our reception in the Meyer Ballroom across the street. The entire day was beyond what we imagined or dreamed. From the decorations to the stunning view, everything was perfect! The ease of working with an event coordinator that was able to help with so much so I could focus on other aspects of the wedding was beyond helpful. My event coordinator was Kelsey and she was AMAZING!! Any question I had or concern I came up with, she was right there to ease my mind and take care of it for me. She was very patient with me when I called or texted her about the million things running through my mind, and she was able to help me work through things I was unsure of. She made sure our day was beyond perfect. I honestly don't know what I would've done without her; she was beyond amazing! Everyone kept telling me planning a wedding was going to be stressful and overwhelming. I didn't feel that way during my entire planning process, which was nine months from engagement day to wedding day. Every detail from decorations, to entrances and exits, to parking were thought of and taken care of for me. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing! I would absolutely recommend the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom for your wedding. It is worth every single penny for an absolutely unforgettable day!

The paramount was great place to have our wedding reception! It had great space and a great dance floor for us to move. The balcony was great to catch a breather outside and had a beautiful spot for pictures with the river in the background. Mandy was great before during and after the reception! She answered all our questions, got us information on outside vendors help us throughout the night and helped bring out things at the end of the night/next day. The staff was really helpful and ask if we needed anything throughout the night! The price is a bit pricey but it is at great value because ours was an open bar for 5 hours and wine on tables during dinner hour as well as center pieces and Linens and other things so we didn't have to buy anything for decorations. The only thing we had a complaint about was parking because aurora decided to do construction on the road outside of the ballroom and the took away the close street parking but that really wasn't the paramount fault. So we would definitely recommend the Meyer ballroom to anyone that is getting married in the area!

Great Wedding Venue!

The Paramount Meyer Ballroom was a very nice place to have the ceremony and reception at. Everyone loved the nice big windows which had a great view of the river and the lights of the Paramount Theater. They also did a great job setting up the ceremony and transitioning it to the reception for us. They were also accommodating with scheduling our wedding time as well.

Two Venues for a Great Price

We looked at quite a few venues in the western suburbs of Chicago, and by luck, we found that one of our first places we dated had openings for our wedding and reception. Paramount Theater has a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony and Meyer Ballroom across the street made for a wonderful place to throw a party with the Fox River running alongside the huge windows. Our coordinator was Jordan, and she was very responsive to our requests and constant emails asking for assistance. She gave us good recommendations for vendors as you have to work with those already approved by the venue if you want things to go smoothly. As our rehearsal fell on July 4th, Jordan made special arrangements to get us in early so we could plan a dinner afterward. She was also very helpful with managing the vendor relationships once we chose them. On our wedding day, she told me to relax and enjoy. She had everything taken care of. The venue was terrific with cocktail hour in the old ticketing area, and our names on the marquis was a great touch as was the red carpet welcome for our guests. The only issue we had was that we could not get any special liquor added to our premium list so the scotch was very limited. Overall, it was a wonderful event.

Hello there! First of all I need to start by saying that the venue is beautiful! I had my wedding in the Meyer Ballroom and the view with the river was amazing. The ballroom was big enough to fit my big Mexican family (you need to invite everyone or else they'll be upset with you) and my live band of 10 guys, and my DJ!! Kelsey is amazing, she was so patient with me (and also my mother) and she made everything go so smoothly the day of my wedding that I didn't have a care in the world, I enjoyed 100% of my night. I planned my wedding in two months . . . crazy I know but she was honestly awesome, she answered all of my questions promptly and she even had a brand new chapstick for me on my wedding day!! Jennifer and Bill were also a great help in making my big day be wonderful, since my now husband is in the military he was not here for all the crazy wedding planning (good for him, stressful for me) but they were so great in meeting my needs. This is an amazing place to hold your wedding, the Grand Ballroom is gorgeous as well, but I preferred the view of the river :) Either way, you will not regret choosing this venue. -Again thank you Paramount team for making my day one I will never forget!

We have held several gala events with the Paramount staff in their Grande Gallery and more recently in their Meyer Ballroom. The venue is very nice and the staff are flexible and great to work with.

The building is beautiful! It was the perfect image we wanted for our wedding and reception. I loved being able to have all the reception tables upstairs and having the whole downstairs for dancing! At first they came off as very flexible but it seemed that they lose that after you put in a payment. I don't know if it's because we started talking to a different worker or if it's just a bait and switch tactic they have but one person told us we can stay until midnight just let us know a week in advance if we want to stay that late and they'd change it no problem no extra cost. When we decided to extend it they gave us problems and wanted to charge extra. They also made the buffet placement very difficult for our caterers. They like to (a week before the wedding) strongly recommend more things to add on. All in all it was a beautiful place, the day of workers were extremely friendly and helpful. I'd host an event there again, I'd only stand my ground a little more next time.

Beautiful place to get married

We had our wedding July 6 in the Meyer Ballroom. We had an amazing time and the space was big enough for all our guests. Their vendor list was extremely helpful and we were very satisfied!
However, we were unimpressed with the wedding coordinator employed by the Ballroom we were assigned. While other coordinators we met were awesome and were excited for me and my husband, we describe the woman we were assigned as almost indifferent to us. She was responsive to our emails and calls but was cold. She was wearing a casual outfit the day of our wedding and it is incredibly frustrating to have her show up in our wedding photos because she did not dress for the occasion and sticks out like a sore thumb. Some of our guests even questioned who she was and why she was so undressed for the occasion/why she was distant. All other staff we worked with were pleasant and professional.
Overall, we really loved having our wedding at the Paramount and thought it was a good value for our money spent. It was incredible to get married in a venue that clearly knew what they were doing!

They don't communicate well

We booked April 2018 for our 12/12/20 wedding . Everything went well until covid arrived and we got a different coordinator. The venue is beautiful! But the staff is horrible at communicating. The coordinators don't know what they are doing. Kelsey is the only one who ever made us a priority but then she got promoted and her replacement was nice and trying her best I think, but seemed very inexperienced as did our day of Coordinator Briana. She was very rude the day of our wedding, she even yelled at our bridal party. She just seemed like she didn't know how to answer our questions. Nor did she seem want to. I asked her after times if she could call me and she just wouldn't. The only vendor from our wedding I could not recommend!!🤬

Oh and when we were in phase 3 to makeup for their losses. they added all these extra cost for cleaning attendant for each bathroom for example. absolutely ridiculous!

They wanted to change our pricing and double the amount per person $41 per person vs now $71 per person. We refused and waited til 2021

Hello Courtney and Tom, thank you for your compliments in your review about the beauty of our Meyer Ballroom. I do, however, want to address your other comments because I wish that I had known, during the lengthy planning process, that you felt we were not responsive enough to your messages. We always try to address our client’s needs in a timely and professional manner; and, had I known that you felt we were not being communicative enough, I would have taken steps to rectify that situation.

We understand that covid has been a stressful time, and want to express our heartfelt sympathy that you might not have been able to have your wedding exactly as you have dreamed of for so long.

While we were disappointed at not being able to host your wedding with 120 guests on your original date of 12-12-2020 because it was over the social gathering capacity guidelines at that time, we did offer you the option to reschedule to a new available date, cancel due to the then CDC and IDPH guidelines of capacity attendance limits on “social gatherings” under your contracted guest count, or to terminate the original contract with 120 guests and work up a new contract with new pricing in order to still have your wedding event on your original wedding day with a reduced number of guests conforming with capacity guidelines in force at that time. Our company has been following all the CDC and IDPH guidelines, since March of 2020, and making changes as we receive new information from the IDPH because you and your guest’s safety has always been our utmost priority, as it is with all of our clients.

We did explain to you the reasoning for our pricing due to terminating your contract with 120 guests and changing it to the reduced number of guests to coincide with IDPH guidelines when you initially chose that option, but we’re sorry that change wasn’t understood and appeared as if there was a significant price increase.

After our usual internal recap of each wedding, it was noted that the bridal party was attempting to sneak in and consume alcohol on premises that was not provided by our venue, which violates your contract, as that action violates our liquor license. It was also mentioned that the arrival of the bridal party having already heavily consumed alcohol resulted in some rather rude and uncooperative behavior. Unfortunately, while our event coordinator was experienced, I apologize if she spoke sternly to your bridal party in certain situations, and especially while coordinating your wedding party to line up before the ceremony to ensure it was absolutely perfect for your day.

In addition, since you chose not to cancel your wedding but rather reschedule it to 2021, I am so glad that we were able to honor your original pricing from 2018, and the original significant seasonal discount, with no reschedule fees and held your new wedding date for 6 months to give you time to determine the best course of action for you during these uncertain times.
