    I had a wedding that was rife with mishaps, screw ups and stress leading up to the day. Maria, of Paladin Events went above and beyond the call of duty as a wedding coordinator. We had alot of problems with our venue and she was an amazing liaison and advocate. Maria also had wonderful referrals for vendors such as paperie. She had insights throughout our planning that only experience can bring as well as a vast knowledge of vendors in the Hamptons and North Fork. Maria also planned the most lovely rehearsal dinner for us, a lobster bake on the beach. A couple days before, threatening rain forced us to plan B which she executed on a whim!
    At the beginning of wedding plan my fiance at the time questioned hiring a wedding coordinator and now he thinks its the best investment we made. We are trying to figure out what type of event we can have next just so she can plan it!

    I hired Maria with a 6 month time line and literally nothing planned. We had no date, no venue, no caterer etc. From the beginning Maria was full of ideas and suggestions. We had to change our plan 2 months in because we realized throwing the wedding at a rental house like we wanted was not feasible. Maria was right on the ball, changing gears and quickly finding us a whole list of other options.

    We ended up booking a water front vineyard on the North Fork. It was beautiful, but just a field. We had to bring in EVERYTHING we needed. Luckily, Maria had contacts with a bunch of great vendors. She organized all appointments for me, and even drove me the 2 hours out to East Hampton for the meetings. Her vendor suggestions turned out to be amazing and she was sure to keep me on budget.

    The weekend of our wedding was a busy one for her. She had events to run the 2 days before our wedding. Even after working almost 48 hours straight, Maria pulled of our wedding without a hitch. Her staff was extremely helpful (and SO nice!) all weekend when Maria was not available.

    Everything the day of came together perfectly. There were a few last minute issues that came up, and Maria dealt with them without question. (ie: a 20 degree drop in temperature in 24 hours!) The site was set up exactly how I wanted it. The decor came out more beautifully than I had imagined. The food was seriously incredible. Everyone had an amazing time. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and hopefully will be for years to come. Maria helped us make a great impression.

    Through out the planning process Maria was extremely attentive. All correspondence was responded to almost immediately. Even when she was working another wedding! She always made me feel like I was her only client. I would highly recommend Maria to other Bride's She and her staff did a great job.
