I can't even begin to express how amazing this venue is and how special it is for our family. My dad married his wife at this venue, and I followed a year later (11/16/2024). We also have another family member who has already booked for 2026! It hard to express how great this place is so I'll bullet point some highlight.
1. Emily & Leilani - They are so helpful, fun, kind and they actually care about your day. They go out of their way to aid you in the process and make everything as easy as possible. Emily is one of my favorite people in general, but her expertise in all things wedding is top notch.
2. The venue itself - BEAUTIFUL. The way we did it is rehearsal dinner at the overlook which is literally brand new and has the best view, ceremony on the lawn (also best view) and reception in the barn. Its gorgeous, no other words. You need to go check it out to understand.
3. Lodging - Instead of smashing things out in one day and running around on your wedding day, you get to have a whole weekend. We were on a budget so we set up the venue ourselves on Thursday (THANK YOU EMILY). We arrived for the weekend on Friday and stayed until Sunday. You get to treat this place like its yours for the most important day of your life, and on top of that, all of your family and friends can stay with you! The wedding day was all the more special having the Grogan house as the center of all the activities and my family and friends coming in and out while we all got ready. Its unmatched.
4. Food - No worries on catering, they just do it all for you! They have lots of options to pick from!
5. Bar - we chose the 2 beers, 3 wines and 2 signature drink option but the venue lets your guests drink whatever may be leftover from other weddings which is amazing. The bartenders are awesome!
Honestly i can't say enough about this place. It far exceeded every expectation I had. Call Emily and check it out, you'll be sold immediately LOL

If you are looking to unpack your bags and celebrate your wedding all weekend long, be sure to put Paicines Ranch at the top of your list!
Paicines Ranch is a working farm and has SO much to offer. To start, they can accommodate a large amount of guests on site for the entire wedding weekend. There are many different spots on the property to host events from the rehearsal dinner to late night smores to a farewell brunch. Each spot opens up a new area for you and your guests to explore. This venue has everything you need for your wedding day including tables and chairs, place settings & glassware, lounge furniture and an onsite caterer and full functioning bar. The barn itself is absolutely exquisite with it's flooring and wood paneling and comes with ample lighting, chandeliers and draping.
The onsite venue coordinator Emily (and her team) are absolutely stellar. Emily's wedding day worth ethic is top notch and something that every couple should expect from an employee of a wedding venue. Her attention to detail and ability to quickly problem solve provides both comfort and ease on a day that can be quite stressful. (I remember looking out to see the wedding guests taking shelter from the drizzle approaching the wedding ceremony. Without hesitation, Emily grabbed chair cushions for each of the guests to ensure they would at least have a dry seat to sit on.) She is always willing to put in the extra help to ensure the entire wedding weekend runs smoothly.
A wedding weekend at Paicines Ranch will be an event for both you and your guests to remember for a lifetime! -

We loved our wedding at Paicines Ranch. After hearing about our friends wedding planning experiences, we were so grateful we picked this venue. We booked with Emily as our venue coordinator and she made everything so clear and helped plan our next steps. She set up our tasting with the chef, helped plan our menu, walked us through all the onsite lodging so we could plan where our guests would stay, and even met with vendors at the event barn with us. Her staff she had with her were also very friendly.
We were able to pick our own vendors and decorate the event barn. We kept it pretty simple since the event barn is already set with antique pieces of furniture and all the tables and chairs were included. We only had to rent linens and bring in floral and it looked beautiful.
Recommending this place over and over again and would recommend working with Emily to ensure a seamless wedding weekend! -

This venue is only about 1 hour south of San Francisco. It was so nice to have all our friends and family gather in one spot for the weekend. Everything we needed was onsite and there is a little town close by for any last minute items.
We really appreciated Emily for her support during our wedding planning process. She was able to give our vendors all the info they needed to make the wedding a success. Emily was there during the wedding as well in case any thing was needed and that confirmed we were in good hands.
The food was good, everything is sourced local and we had a tasting to confirm our wedding dinner would be perfect. We ended the weekend with a Sunday brunch on the ranch at the new dining room on site.
Pricing was good especially since so much was included. We were even able to set up early so we could enjoy the weekend as our guests checked in. We had the place to ourselves and felt right at home. -

Paicines Ranch exceeded our expectations. Emily Skow and her team are so professional and adaptable to meet every need as well as being able to put our vision to life. PR transformed their historic barn into an elegant reception with all the fine details and touched we wanted. The food was very good. We were also able to host our rehearsal dinner at the brand new dining commons and host over 55 of our closest friends for a full wedding weekend! I highly recommend Paicines Ranch. -

Paicines Ranch is a STUNNING property with tons of charm, and a phenomenal team!! Not to mention, you can have your family and friends stay on site making for a truly special wedding retreat experience. Working with Emily and her team was a pleasure—they were extremely helpful and present on the wedding day, always asking how they can help. Their food was exceptional and delightful desserts crafted by Paicines Ranch were a highlight for our clients and their guests. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this venue everyday of the week!! -

You can not go wrong having your wedding at the Paicines Ranch. It was beautiful, romantic and elegant. We were so please with all the amenities that they had to offer. From the beautiful back drop off over looking the hills and oak trees as you get married on the plush grass area with lots of plants around. The beautiful barn that we had our reception in was decorated so elegantly with lights hanging from the ceiling with white sheer material softening the feel. The Bride and Groom table was fixed up so beautiful with sheers on the background drop with lights behind them. The accommodations for the bar and all the guest along with the desert area was adorable.
The accommodations were amazing with room to camp out, Glamping tents and rooms that are very inviting and adorable. The Grogan house was amazing as the bridal party was able to get ready with plenty of room.
Emily Skow was so professional and helpful and took care of us like her own. Amazing ideas and suggestions and her staff was awesome as well. They helped us with what ever our needs were. She is one of the best wedding planner ever. She is kind and knowledgeable and was tentative all the time.
This was one of the best weddings ever. Our guest could not say enough how awesome this wedding was.

We had such a wonderful time at the venue! The lodging was perfect, we still have family and friends comment on how wonderful it was to not worry about driving. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, was the perfect spot to have our daughter’s wedding. The staff was extremely attentive and so helpful! I can’t say enough about Emily Skow, she is such a wonderful lady, she literally walked us through everything, checked in on all timelines and always had answers to our questions. Planning a wedding is a lot but I really felt so relaxed knowing she had everything under control! We feel very blessed to have had our family and friends join us as our daughter and now son in law said “I Do”. Trust me you well not be disappointed ♥️ -

We had a lot of specific parameters for our wedding venue search - we wanted a wedding in a barn just like my parents did, there had to be flexibility in planning and end time (np proper Polish wedding ends before 10 pm!), big enough for all our guests, an emphasis on sustainability (hard to find in the wedding industry), and good options for staying on-premise. This all narrowed down to just one location - Paicines Ranch, and as soon as we pulled in to visit we knew it was perfect. The location is beautiful, the people who work there are all incredible humans and so inspiring, and they were such a joy to plan with and work with. On the wedding weekend I knew we were in good hands and that made the day all the more special and less stressful, and we already are looking forward to the next time we get to go back! -

We had a gorgeous wedding at Paicines Ranch! It was nice getting ready with all my girls in the lovely Rose Cottage. My closest family and friends enjoyed having a place to stay on site. There were many perfect spots for pictures. The lawn was the perfect spot for the ceremony and the barn was perfect for the reception. I loved everything about this place and would highly recommend! -

Paicines Ranch and their staff went above and beyond to help make my wedding be the most magical day of my life so far! The venue is breathtaking! Having the option to stay on the property for the weekend made everything run so smoothly! If you love the country vibes then I don’t think you can find a better venue than Paicines Ranch! Mary and the rest of the staff were so efficient and very responsive. They are so sweet and friendly and made us feel so welcomed to be there! I would marry my husband a 100 more times if it meant I get to relive the day over and over! It was my wedding dreams come true! -

If you are looking for an absolutely Beautiful wedding venue Paicines Ranch is your place!!!!! We spent the weekend out at the Ranch for our daughter’s and now Son’s wedding March 20, 2021 with family and friends and it was a dream come true. Mary the Ranch manager was amazing and went above and beyond to make the weekend perfect and Emily, The most incredible event planner EVER made sure everything ran smooth and was my life line!!!! Being the mother of the bride I would not have been able to get through it all without her🥰 I will be forever grateful to the whole crew out at Paicines Ranch For giving our daughter the wedding of her dreams!!!! I would give them 1 million stars if I could!!! They made it so easy by having an awesome vendor’s list. It’s like a one stop shop and every vendor they suggested were AMAZING!!!! Paicines Ranch is the most beautifulest venue for any event!!!

Great Ranch Wedding
Paicines was is great, staff was easy to work with and it was a beautiful facility. Especially for a girl like me who has horses and wanted the for “ranch style/ rustic wedding”. We use the barn for our reception and everyone absolutely loved the facility, I highly recommend them. -

My experience was smooth,
Mary was amazingly responsive, helpful, and extremely kind throughout the entire process! She was very prompt at responding to emails, phone calls or text messages when necessary. She was thorough with the prices and very flexible in terms of visiting the property for various vendors. Overall we loved the venue and our guests did as well. Many of our guests stated it was the best wedding venue they have been to. -

We fell in love with this venue several years ago when our friends got married there. We enjoyed the convenience of allowing our guests to stay the night at the venue without having to go too far especially since the venue is a little out there. Since visiting the venue as guests at a wedding, we had heard of several upgrades that had been made since then and have continued to make throughout the years. The venue itself is beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous. All of our guests fell in love with the venue and even thought that they might have a festivity, like their family reunion, at the venue. I could not have asked for a better place to get married. -

Paicines Ranch
Mary was so wonderful to work with! I had a zillion questions, and sometimes asked them more than once, and she was always so quick to respond. She was flexible and offered wonderful recommendations.
The venue is stunning and offers such a variety of sceneries, accommodations and settings that can make it a one stop shop. If you choose to have both your ceremony and reception there it is the ideal location.
The Grogan House was the perfect setting for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the day and/or rent for the night. In addition to the Grogan House, there is plenty of space for overnight accommodations for the wedding party and guests in a peaceful rustic setting.
I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any special occasion! -

Getting married at Paicines Ranch was an absolutely magical experience. From the stunning ranch landscape featuring historical buildings, silos, and rolling oak-studded hills that painted that landscapes to the charismatic, delightful, and incredibly helpful events crew (Mary is a gem), this venue has it all! To top it off, it's a working ranch tackling regenerative agriculture and they aligned with my values and eco wedding. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding and exceptional venue that went above and beyond to make my wedding unforgettable. -

Jennifer Sent on 05/10/2018We had such an amazing weekend with our family and friends during our April 28th, 2018 wedding at Paicines Ranch. The ranch is gorgeously breathtaking during the spring and everyone who attended our wedding fell in love with the place, just as we did. We couldn't have chosen a better location or time of year for our big day.
The vent Manager, Mary, was very friendly, prompt and professional in her responses to me during the entire to booking process of the ranch. She allowed us to come onsite late in the afternoon, last minute, to check out the property and allowed us to take our time looking at all the guest accommodations, for our wedding guests. She never once made us feel hurried or rushed as we decided if the location would work for our needs.
Once we committed to having our wedding on property, Mary went above and beyond her regular duties to ensure I had everything I needed for our big day. She even helped me secure a few of our vendors, with recommendations for the DJ and photographer, which we ended up using (and who were amazing). Mary's passion for the property and her love of her job shines through in everything she does. The property speaks for itself, but Mary is the added sparkle it needs to really shine. -

Hosting three events on the property wasn't easy but Mary and her team were so supportive and helpful, even when things were chaotic. Leading up to the weekend Mary was very responsive and so pleasant to work with and on the weekend of the event, her team went above and beyond what I could have asked for. The property itself is gorgeous and has many areas to host large parties which made each day and event feel unique for our guests. Finding a venue to accommodate my massive Indian family definitely wasn't easy, let alone host 3 parties that all felt different and special. Sunsets over summer are spectacular and the barn itself is stunning. We also loved the amount of rooms the property had for guests. It was great having those closest to us right there all weekend and lead to an epic after party each night. I would highly recommend checking out the property for your wedding, we absolutely loved it.

I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted.
While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things!
Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family running around usually.
Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :) -
