Better than anything I could have expected!

Okay so I live under a rock when it comes to makeup and beauty. But I was getting married and figured I ought to make an attempt. Sheilynne was exceptional- she knew what to do with what little input I could think of and made feel so beautiful while still feeling like myself. She was great with my dogs running all over and around her during the styling and conversation never felt forced. There were many things I was dreading about the wedding day, including the makeup/hair, but with Sheilynne it was all so unnecessary. She also has super rad tattoos 😎

I 100% recommend Sheilynne and Pacific Brides!! For my wedding on 12/29/23, Sheilynne did bridal hair/makeup, mother of the bride hair/makeup, and groom touch-ups. Disclaimer: I am not someone who wears makeup, like almost ever - and I was so incredibly happy with how Sheilynne created a bridal look for me that I was comfortable with and that actually felt like me! I don't have very thick hair, so I was nervous about the options I would have for bridal styles. Months before the wedding, Sheilynne took the time to correspond with me to find an updo style that would work for my hair type - she was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process! I received compliments on my hair and makeup ALL DAY at my wedding - and it all held for the entire 13 hour day!! I was so impressed. And it looks flawless in all the pictures! My mom's hair/makeup and my husband's touch-ups turned out fantastic as well!
Also - Sheilynne is just such a great person!! I thoroughly enjoyed all the time I got to spend with her during my trial a week before, and the getting-ready process the morning-of - she made it all so fun! I cannot say enough good things, and I highly recommend Pacific Brides!!

Flawless, natural, joyous perfection

Shyn and the whole Pacific Brides team were absolutely incredible. They made myself and my entire group (bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandma) look like the most beautiful versions of themselves. It was so important to me to look natural on my wedding day. I wanted makeup that highlighted my features but did not make me feel like a different person than I am day to day, while still making me feel beautiful. As we were travelling for the wedding I did not have a beauty trial, and I was extremely nervous about this, but in the months before my wedding Shyn assured me it would be ok and we talked about makeup and hair inspiration I might have in mind. Shyn listened and absolutely nailed it! Everything was perfect! Along with being and incredible team of beauty ARTISTS(!!!) Shyn and the team were soooo much fun! We laughed all morning! They really thought of all the little details to make getting ready a truly special experience. They brought a speaker (we were travelling for the wedding and we forgot one) and they had a getting ready playlist for us if we didn’t have one ourselves! They talked and joked with my entire wedding party as if we’d known each other for years instead of just a few hours. I had the perfect wedding day, from the getting ready to the wedding itself, and Pacific Brides is a huge part of the reason why. I am so incredibly thankful I chose them in my search, I would choose them again in a heartbeat and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Pure Magic

I cannot emphasize enough how incredible Sheilynne is. She made me look like a million bucks but still somehow like myself and I have NO idea what kind of magic she used to make that happen. She's super easy to work with, so responsive and flexible. When you meet her you'll understand why - she's the actual coolest human ever. She made us comfortable immediately, I remember laughing with her through the entirety of our session and our day. The makeup was perfect - so natural looking, it felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all AND it lasted all day even through a sweaty sunrise hike. I was nervous without a trail run that I wouldn't 100% love my hair but she absolutely killed it - it was gorgeous but still looked and felt like me. I purchased the where you go I go package and I cannot recommend that enough! Not having to ever worry if you look your best through all of the sweating and wind blowing is priceless. She helped us out so much when getting ready on the mountain and staged for pictures too! The amount of effort she puts into maintaining cleanliness was excellent and she made sure to mask/follow covid precautions 100% of the time. She also offered to drive us up to our hike in her jeep - we wouldn't have been able to even do this hike if it wasn't for her driving us! If you're on the fence about booking her just DO IT! You will NOT regret it!!

Shyn is absolutely incredible and I'd hire her a thousand more times if I had the opportunity! With a long engagement made even longer with a pandemic postponement, Shyn was patience, kind, and so accommodating. She is FANTASTIC at what she does -- and so is her associate, Ryann. My bridal party felt gorgeous after this dream team got done with them, and I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. And honestly, you just want to be Shyn's best friend after about three seconds into meeting her. Plus, the woman gives the bride a gosh-darn hot towel treatment before she even gets started. Pacific Brides is the best in the business

Shyn, owner of Pacific Brides, is the best in the business when it comes to hair and makeup. As a wedding professional myself, I've had the chance to work with Shyn professionally prior to having her do hair and makeup for my own wedding. Every time our paths cross, Shyn has exuded professionalism and kindness while still being relatable and down-to-earth.

I generally had nerves about my wedding day makeup and hair, namely because I wasn't able to do a trial run ahead of time (due to distance). Alaskans, myself included, aren't known for getting super done up and my everyday makeup routine is very minimal. I really wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. Shyn took the inspiration I gathered and translated it perfectly -- better than I could have imagined. I felt like a goddess (seriously, my brows have never looked better!), my hair and makeup held up all day and into the night, and our mothers and maids were over the moon about their makeup services too.

On top of all this, Shyn's communication leading up to our wedding was thorough, patient, and kind, even amidst some last minute changes with our wedding party lineup. Her big mama energy helped make my "getting ready process" a time for me to focus and orient myself to the day, while also filling our time together with laughter and humor. Finally, I really appreciated the care and caution Pacific Brides took with regards to COVID protocols. I felt beyond safe as someone who is immunocompromised.

I'll be singing Shyn's praises to my own clients and highly recommend Pacific Brides to anyone seeking out flawless makeup and hair!

Let’s just start off with Pacific Brides is an incredible business and Shyn (owner) is an amazing woman to work with!!! Immediately she made me laugh and feel comfortable from the moment we met at my trial! She takes incredible pride in her work, takes time to get to know her client, and what they’re really looking for for their special day! She is INCREDIBLY organized. She had my timeline completely done within hours after my trial, and was very flexible with moving family members around in the timeline (adding makeup services etc. up until the 90 days prior which I was very thankful for!)

I have to say that one of my favorite parts of her bridal service is the facial before makeup is applied. First of all, who doesn’t want to be absolutely pampered in their wedding day, but it also makes your skin feel so clean and free. Her application process truly feels like you have no makeup on AT ALL! Both my hair and makeup lasted THE ENTIRE DAY! I can not recommend Pacific Brides enough!!! Having professional hair and makeup really was the cherry on top of the most perfect day!

The best there is

It was rained all day during my elopement, which was outside along the Oregon Coast - something I was hoping wouldn’t happen because my hair is curly and frizzes. Never had to worry about that or my makeup looking horrible because of the wet weather because I hired Sheilynne. If you’re out of state, don’t be worried about not doing a trial run - she has a process that you need to trust to look how you envision. Just book her and book her early, it will be the best decision you make - besides deciding who you marry.

Amazing!

Shyn, was absolutely amazing! From her communication, to execution of hair and makeup, I could have not asked for a better day and experience! I choose her "Where you go I go" adventure elopement package, and I was not disappointed. I provided her with hair Inspo and makeup, showed her my hair accessories and she created absolute magic. Not only was Shyn professional; but she was so much fun to work with and really lightened up the mood.

I highly recommend her for your elopement needs , especially coming from out of state. Great overall experience and so glad I was able to book with her.

I booked Shyn and Ryann for hair and make-up for my April 2021 wedding. I don't wear much make-up and didn't know what I wanted - all I knew was that I still wanted to look like "me" on my wedding day. Shyn was so easy to work with, and was able to recreate the look I had in my head. You would've never thought we had a 5:00 AM start time with how relaxed and fun Shyn and Ryann were hanging with my mom, MIL, and two friends who also got their hair and make-up done. I've never felt more beautiful, and my hair and make-up looked flawless for 14+ hours (ceremony, brunch, after party that night)! I highly recommend Shyn and her team!

Shyn was an absolute joy on my wedding day. She not only is a very talented artist and amazing at what she does, but she made everything so EASY. From the moment I reached out to her she made the entire process stress free. The morning of my wedding was so chill and relaxing, even with everything going on during COVID. She is so attentive to detail and her sterilization/ COVID protocol was on point. Both my mother and sister were so happy with their hair and makeup, as well as I. She's amazing!!!

Holy freaking cow, I don't even know where to start. Shyn and her team were absolutely incredible. They helped us over every COVID hurdle and kept the smiles and humor going the whole time. My hair and makeup were gorgeous (way better than I ever expected). It felt like I wasn't wearing any makeup at all and my hair refused to budge. They both lasted the entire day of our mini wedding and the entire day after during a hike near Mount Rainier. Hire Shyn--just do it.

A++ for Gender Non-conforming Brides

As a cis woman who didn't know whether to wear a dress or a suit to my wedding, finding a stylist who wouldn't give me odd looks or push me towards more traditionally feminine hairstyles and make-up was a major source of anxiety. After reaching out to Shyn, I knew from her enthusiastic and passionate response that I'd found my perfect stylist!

With the incredible power of her make-up magic (not even gonna pretend I know anything about this), Shyn made my ruddy complexion look perfectly natural for the big day. Her suggestions were always on point, and I never felt pressured to try anything that made me uncomfortable. My hairstyle was perfect, as well, surviving an hour-long boat ride before the ceremony without a single lock falling out of place!

Even more than her aesthetic expertise, however, Shyn turned a nerve-wracking morning into a light-hearted, relaxed one. She's a joy to be around with off-beat humor that always had me laughing. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

10/10!!! Look no further for a make-up and hair artist. Shyn is amazing and will highlight the beautiful goddess you already are. She is funny and sarcastic, which I think are musts when you are sitting in one place for over 2+ hours getting someone else’s hands all over your hair and face! I had some minor changes after my trial and she listened making me look just how I envisioned on my wedding day! The products she uses are amazing and made my skin so happy. Hire this woman

I could write a novel on how amazing Shyn is not only at her art but also being a stellar human being. She created a look for me that I could have only dreamed of for my wedding and she also made all my bridesmaids and my mother and mother-in-law feel beautiful on the day. My mom still brings up her hair from the wedding because she loves it so much. I think she may be hiring Shyn as a personal stylist soon! She is amazing!!!!

I had the best experience ever with shyn. It was the most smooth and organized morning before a wedding that I've ever had. I've been in a lot of wedding that have been crazy and chaotic while we were all getting ready. Shyn and her gal made our morning so much fun and they kept on time for everything. A truly wonderful experience!!!

There is so much I could say about Shyn and the wonderful work that she does. She has so much passion and knowledge in what she does and from the start, I felt fully confident in her ability! Shyn is very down-to-earth and her personality and presence relaxes the whole room! It was so fun talking with her and getting to know her story, listening to all the crazy experiences and adventures she has had through her life journey.
The equipment and products she uses are top notch in quality; nothing you would see on the shelves in convenience stores. She invests so much into her business and passion to give brides and their families the best experience possible!

I love shyn

Shyn and her team of ladies made the morning of our wedding so fun and relaxing. Shyn is not only completely hilarious but also amazing at what she does. My bridesmaids and family all raved about the services they received and everyone looked AMAZING. I was confident going into that morning because she absolutely rocked my hair and make up trial. My hair and make up stayed in place all night long and even through the next day - and I'm a stomach sleeper so that's saying a lot. I even went back to Shyn a few days after the wedding to get my hair cut short for our honeymoon and she rocked that as well!

Hair and makup that lasts all day

Oh goodness where do I even begin?? Shyn is incredible at what she does. I knew we were off to a good start when she responded to my inquiry of "I want to look like a slightly more pulled together version of myself" with "WELP that's my jam!!"

I had a trial beforehand, and Shyn redid my hair at least 3 times until I was happy with the style and she was happy with how it was holding and how all the pieces were fitting together. I think my trial went an extra hour or something past the allotted timeframe, but she took the time to get everything right.

On the day-of, she had us running ahead of schedule (by like an hour; I was very impressed) and made everyone look and feel beautiful. I got nonstop compliments on my hair throughout the night, and both my hair and makeup stayed put all day.

First off, I like to preface this with I am a high stress worry-wort who typically HATES her hair. Ok, moving on. Shyn is so beyond talented. From day one she calmed my worries, listened to my crazy, and all the emails that came after, and still made me feel like I’ve never felt in my own skin. I didn’t look over done, I didn’t look out of place, she took my natural beauty and truly elevated it appropriately and elegantly. She took my vision and ran with it and in the process I almost ran away with her 👀 She made the morning of my wedding relaxing and fun and for someone who worries about things is much as I do on a daily basis is impressive. From questions to lip color changes she rolled with the punches and brought her true talents out and rocked it. My entire experience with Shyn from start to finish was awesome! I didn't get to meet with her before our session due to this being a destination wedding, but her communication through email was seamless, exchanged pictures of what I wanted and she took it from there. My hair and makeup looked flawless (until I drenched myself with champagne...yeaaaah that happened) but luckily she was there to touch up. Oh yeah, she got to experience my crazy non-formal / formal version of a wedding and seriously went above and beyond. She gives you tips and advice and keeps it real. Can't say enough good things! She's hilarious, too... lots of great stories! I would definitely recommend her to anyone in her area.

100% Will book for all of my marriages ;)

I cannot say enough about Shyn, and how amazing and stress-free she made my wedding day. I wear pretty minimal makeup daily, so I wanted an artist who could take me up several notches but not get lost in heavy contouring and cake makeup. I wanted to look like myself but better!

I live in Alabama, so I was just scrolling through Shyn's Instagram, bummed that I'd never be able to book anyone in the PNW. A fateful comment led to a booking - she travels the globe for her work! It was totally affordable, and well worth it.

Alabama also = oppressive heat. We got married on a day that set a 102-year record (eww) and I worried that my hair and makeup couldn't survive. It totally did - and we didn't even need to reapply. My hair was solid for 3 days after, even! The makeup was natural, beautiful and lightweight. I didn't give her much guidance other than wanting to look like me - and she nailed it. Her aesthetic is clean and elegant - nothing looks fake or overdone. She knows her product lines!

On top of that, she was an awesome support and friend. She shuttled my sweating self in an out of A/C for photos, carried my shoes, fluffed my dress for photos, hung out the entire day and reception - and we got to be friends over her extra time in the South. An otherwise potentially stressful day was perfect and chill.

I'd book her anytime, and you should, too!

Seriously, book pacific brides!

I absolutely loved getting my hair & makeup styled by Shyn on my wedding day! She worked brilliantly well with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding as I pinpointed my look and felt overwhelmed by my options. She was able to key in with precision on the look I was envisioning, and was not only professional but a blast to be with! I literally can’t even begin to describe how much more relaxed of a bride I was due to knowing Shyn was going to make me look flawless on the morning of my wedding and OH MY GOD she did, she did, she did! I have never gotten my hair or makeup done by anyone ever (in my 29 and a half years of existence) and liked it UNTIL Shyn. She spent much of the getting ready time making my skin feel smooth as butter and ensuring that my skin care was on pointe in effort to insure long-lasting makeup application. I danced my ass off my wedding night and yet my hair and makeup stayed gorgeous and intact. I’ll save you hours or research, emailing and head-aching with any other artist out there. Incredibly Talented and Your Very Own Sherpa

Shyn was a dream to have along for my husband and I’s elopement photoshoot this last weekend. She provides a level of hilarity which made us laugh all day long and truly added to the magic of our day. I felt absolutely beautiful. Shyn was there for all the magic of the day. She even carried around a tiny curling iron and customized makeup kit for quick touch ups. She was one hundred percent prepared for whatever challenge the beach terrain gave us. This included “sherpa-ing” us over giant cliffs for life altering dream style photos. She’s hilarious, talented, and ready for adventurous wedding elopements Shyn’s the best hands down.

Stellar Professional Shyn

Booking Shyn was one of my best designs during wedding planning! I’ll start with she’s a complete professional at her craft, she’s fine tuned her process and timelines to be able to handle any wedding party and also be on time. I could easily tell Shyn had her shit together, and I had been exactly looking for some one who had several years experience in the wedding industry since practice does make perfect in many cases. She was able to pick up exactly the style I was looking for to feel my most confident as a bride on my wedding day. She also did the make up for my boudoir shoot!! I couldn’t have been happier that I came into contact with Shyn through a fellow bride from elementary school. Booking with her was such a seamless, convenient process online and it was apparent how explicitly Shyn understood the importance of being present for the job she is committing to, for one of the biggest and stressful day in a bride’s life. I knew I could count on her to be there, and if anything did happen ... she’d have a back up arranged. Shyn was exactly the person myself, maid of honor, and mother’s needed that morning ... we all had so much fun together talking and laughing! Then to top it off, I ended up feeling like a bombshell on my wedding!!! I will forever be extremely pleased with how I was styled by Shyn! The best in the Northwest!

Shyn is a gem of a human. She just gets you when you speak and runs with your vision. I have a VERY diverse group of friends and her ability to work on my pale face and baby hair then my friends olive skin and Persian hair was seamless. I was super nervous I wouldn't feel like myself since I never wear makeup but Shyn just made me feel like the best version of myself which was perfect! Much love to Shyn!

I'm so grateful to have worked with Shyn for our wedding. Hair and make-up was way outside of my personal comfort zone, and I appreciated that Shyn always knew what I needed and what would look best - even when I did not! If you want to feel most beautiful you've ever felt inside and out you won't hesitate to book Pacific Brides. Shyn filled my soul with laughter, enriching banter, but most of all so much love before I left for the first look with my soon-to-be husband. From our first message to our trial, to the day of my wedding Shyn was nothing but excited for me and executed exactly what look I was going for - even when I didn't know! I had seen her work on Instagram and knew that I could give her vague ideas of how I wanted my hair and makeup done and that her creativity would exceed my expectations. What I wasn't expecting was to cry tears of WOW at the sight! She made me feel so comfortable and was so much fun to work with. WOWOWOWOW Thank the high wedding heavens I found Shyn from Pacific Brides!!! My wedding venue was pretty far north/east out of Seattle so I was searching for hair and makeup services somewhat near Everett. I had a feeling that booking from a location in Seattle was really going to rack up the travel fees on top of the services. Thanks google! This led me to Pacific Brides! Her reviews are amazing for a reason!! She was by far the best vendor from my entire wedding. Her communication is on point and super fast which is highly appreciated. It was pulling teeth trying to get communication from some of my other vendors! I never had to worry about my hair and makeup communication when it came to Shyn. She's ON IT! She offered suggestions and ideas once I narrowed in what type of look I was going for. Shyn was very flexible during my trial as well. We talked through a couple ideas and she was able to quickly show me the general direction to help me make a decision. My wedding was very woodsy and had a camp vibes type of feel in the mountains and along a river so we went with a perfectly boho ponytail! She is the boho hair queen - but don't get it twisted - i've seen her post some other beautiful brides with amazing polished, clean and more glam looking styles as well. I could talk all day about the hair but her MAKEUP SKILLS!!! Wow... she knows what she is doing. Very high quality products that didn't feel heavy at all. I felt like myself. I wanted a more dramatic eye so she put on some lashes for me and I couldn't even feel them! She perfectly executed the warm toned makeup look I was going for. I have never felt better. My mom and bridesmaids also looked so good!! So yes, Shyn is a badass. Not only does she a ton of experience and provides amazing services, she is so fun and hilarious! She was such a great addition to my cabin full of girls getting ready and enjoying mimosas and bacon before the days festivities. STOKED ON PACIFIC BRIDES YAS KWEENS!

Sheilynne was amazing. Seriously Amazing. She was so easy to work with, kept up with communication and my bridesmaids looked amazing during wedding! I didn’t look to shabby either  hahaha. Shyn is AMAZING! She did my makeup as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and I had to book her for my wedding. She was so prompt in responding to emails and was punctual and efficient on the morning of my wedding day. She also has a great personality and is very down to earth! During my trial, I told her that I tend to sweat a lot in the heat. This was a worry of mine since my wedding was in mid-august. She was accommodating and applied anti-sweat cream on my face. She did an absolutely wonderful job on my hair and makeup. I felt the most beautiful that I have ever felt. The hair and makeup lasted throughout pictures in the morning and all night (about 12 hours). She also did my two bridesmaid's hair and makeup and they loved it! I highly recommend Shyn!!!

Shyn was fantastic to work with! She was incredibly friendly, responsive, and entertaining. She did a great job of explaining what she was thinking throughout the trial and wedding day, and setting boundaries so I knew exactly what was reasonable of me to ask. I HIGHLY recommend Pacific Brides! Not only did I feel gorgeous on my wedding day but Shyn was so much fun to work with. I booked with Pacific Brides several months before my wedding and, yet, Shyn was in frequent contact with me, keeping my mind at ease. I was given a very clear cut timeline for when she needed info from me; all the business aspects of Pacific Brides were executed very professionally.

The trial run was also completed fast and flawlessly, the makeup lasted me the rest of the day and gave me time to really decide on a few small changes for the big day. When I emailed Shyn, regarding the changes I wanted, she was extremely receptive and even gave me some suggestions, like a much needed brow waxing, to help achieve the look I desired.

On the day of the wedding my hair and makeup were done last so my styling would be the freshest for pictures. (My Mother-in-law, Mom, and one of my bridesmaids all received services from Pacific Brides) Again, Shyn was so much fun. Everyone who was in my house the morning of the wedding said she made the day even more fun and special. Shyn really added to the lighthearted & stress-free vibe of my wedding day

I'm going to continue to go to Shyn for haircuts and brow waxing, and if I ever need hair & makeup done again for an event she is definitely my go to!

Shyn was a pleasure to work with. I'm a low key lady, who doesn't normally wear any make-up, so I had very little guidance to give. Shyn came up with a look I loved. When I made a day of decision to completely change my hair from my trial look because of the weather, she completely rolled with it, and gave me exactly the look that I wanted. Her work is flawless.

I also appreciated that she told my family members that certain requests wouldn't look good on them. She easily could have done what they asked, but instead provided her professional opinion so that we would all look our best. She is talented, flexible, and very responsive.

If you are considering Shyn for your wedding look needs I will tell you right now - JUST DO IT. She is AMAZING - she was prompt in reaching out and answering my questions and was flexible in helping me get a trial scheduled (even on short notice since I was traveling into town for my wedding). She managed to help me sort through my mess of ideas on Pinterest to come up with a look that was still me, it just enhanced what was already there.

We had a great time and the day-of she was gracious enough to let me add on another service for my maid of honor with no trace of panic. She was my rock through this whole wedding process and her services are worth every penny. Shyn did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! We had a "rock and roll" theme, and she came up with a hairstyle and a makeup look that fit the theme but wasn't over the top. I loved that she asked me first to describe what I was thinking and had me send her some pictures, and then we discussed what would be best. She really took the time to figure out what I wanted and then used her expertise to suggest some things (i.e., she'll work with you instead of pushing you into a look you don't really want - which is exactly what you want in a stylist!). She and her assistant also did hair and makeup for my Maid of Honor, my groom's Best Lady, and our moms. Everyone looked so great and they got tons of compliments at the wedding! And the best part was - everything stayed put! I was running around all day and dancing, and my hair AND my makeup (even though I have oily skin) stayed completely fabulous the entire time. Ok, actually, the best part was how fun Shyn is. We had a total blast getting ready, and it set the tone for the whole day. It was a great experience working with Pacific Brides!

You guys, Shyn is the best. Getting ready with my girls and Shyn was one of the highlights of my wedding day!

Shyn came recommended to me from another girlfriend that used her for her wedding, and I'm SO glad she was available for ours! The whole "process" was so easy; from booking the services, clear pricing and what was included, scheduling the consultation visit, and day of - totally seamless.

I'm not one that's super into makeup or hair, I don't know the latest trends or terms - Shyn made me feel totally comfortable and took my description (lots of "-ish"..... "you know, eyes kind of.... glam-ish?") and gave me a perfect result.

She is hilarious, totally engaging and listens incredibly well to what my girls were wanting - everyone looked STUNNING!

Shyn was an absolute delight! She was so great in helping come up with a look that suited my dress and fit with the overall feel we were going for! Not only is she incredibly talented--she is also an absolute riot! We had so much fun getting ready with her in the bridal suite. Shyn worked so hard to get things perfect for me, and the results were equisite. Pacific Brides was recommended by a cousin who was recently married. She said, "if you're stressing on the morning of your wedding, Shyn will make you laugh and bring you down to earth." Shyn was expertly interactive throughout the pre-trial emails, giving guidance and reassuring me. At the trial, we talked through everything, tried it out, and discussed what tweaks we both would like to see. On my wedding day, she brought a fun, can-do attitude to hair and makeup for bridesmaids, moms, and me. Shynn came recommended to us by our wedding planner Amber at Vows. Looking at her work, I adored her natural, clean-and-classic style, and as soon as I met her at my hair and makeup trial, I knew I'd made the right choice. Not only is Shynn incredibly talented, but she is SO much fun to hang out with! She had me smiling and laughing through the whole session. I was a little uncertain about what sort of look I wanted, and she was super patient with me as we looked through my wedding-look Pinterest board. We then tried out a couple of hairstyles and experimented with makeup looks--she has a great eye for color and I was amazed by how well everything she tried out suited me. She even helped me evaluate wedding hair and jewelry accessories via e-mail during the weeks leading up to the wedding--talk about going above and beyond! (Btw, she's got a great eye for style.) She totally knocked it out of the park on the day of our wedding too--she and her assistant were prompt, efficient, professional, and above all, once again, a blast to spend time with. Everyone looked fabulous by the time they were done, everyone was laughing and having a great time, and each look totally suited its respective wearer. (In all, there was me, my mom, my mother-in-law, our matron of honor, and our maid of honor.) Our looks lasted all through the day and night, which was really impressive considering we were outside all day in 80+ weather. Plus, Shynn hooked me up with a touch-up kit just in case, which was a real comfort. I'd recommend Shynn and Pacific Brides to absolutely anyone.

Shyn is a rockstar when it comes to hair! So creative and knows how to create beautiful looks. She is very honest about what is realistically going to work with your hair type - which I was so thankful for! Showing pictures for ideas is great, but she won't tell you a style will work if in the end it's not going to look that way. Instead, she invites you to her adorable studio and works with you on providing a look that might be similar to your ideas and provide really amazing ideas on how to make certain styles work. My hair was half up and half down with big, loose curls. I did have clip in extensions in which she blended perfectly, nice and tight, and the curls in all of the hair lasted the entire night...and into the next day! She uses high-end product and makes sure you are happy throughout the entire process from trial to day of. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and hope to use her again someday!

My husband and I were married in August 2015!
When I began my hunt for a hair and makeup artist for our wedding I was instantly drawn to Shyn's work! Her brides all had the look I was desiring; stunning and timeless! When I contacted Shyn she responded promptly! After several emails with Shyn I knew I wanted to book her. She was friendly, energetic and had a great sense of humor! I knew she would make our wedding day relaxing and FUN! Shyn delivered! On the morning of our wedding, Shyn had the task of getting 8 ladies beautified before 11am! We finished with time to spare which helped make my day that much more relaxing and enjoyable! Shyn and her team were very professional and a blast to work with. She has an incredible way of making everyone laugh and her positive energy is contagious (even at 6am!) My bridesmaids, mom and mom in law all looked absolutely gorgeous! Not only did they look gorgeous, but the look stayed all night! Most importantly, I was completely in love with my make up and hair. Shyn gave me the exact look I was going for. I had never felt better and my Husband loved the look as well! Shyn really put an effort in getting to know my personality and my style, which I truly appreciated. Pacific Brides - the BEST! Shyn and her team knows how to work the glam magic! My bridesmaids, my friend, my Mother and my Mother-in-Law loved their looks and, most of all, so did I! The PB team was friendly, fast and professional. The ladies had a blast getting ready the morning of the wedding with these girls. Everyone was so down to earth. We had a great time and I cannot thank you enough for making me look so gorgeous. It brought my husband to tears when he saw me for our first look.

I don't think I can say enough wonderful things about Shyn. I'll start with what's most important. I looked AMAZING on my wedding day, and it's mostly her fault. And on top of her amazing hair and makeup skills, she is beyond awesome to work with. She always responded to my emails in the most timely of manners, and her communication is easy going, and frankly, hilarious. She made me feel at ease during the hair and makeup process, which really helped with wedding day nerves. We did a consult at her home about a month before the wedding, and she gave me life-changing hair and makeup tips to take with me. Then, on the day of, she provided the beautiful look we had discussed and decided on during the trial.

She's a rockstar professional, and I am so pleased she was able to do my hair and makeup for the wedding.

Shyn is amazing! Not only is she professional, a very talented make up artist and really fun to be around, she really takes the time and energy to make sure you feel incredible on your wedding day! At my trial, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. She patiently helped me to discover what I wanted by figuring out who I am and what's important to me and transforming it into the way I looked - what an incredible talent! Then on my wedding day, she was open to my ideas and changes from the trial (and had thought of most of them on her own!). Not only that, she made me laugh and feel at ease, which was so refreshing and helpful. I went to my wedding feeling like the most beautiful version of me. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup but I felt 100% comfortable. My hair freaking rocked and stayed locked in place for 12 hours of wedding and after party! I highly recommend Shyn.

Shyn did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I was so swept up in the day that I never even opened up the cute little goodie bag she gave me for the day, and I still looked on point after hours and hours of dancing and hugging and all the things you do at weddings.

My suggestion to other brides is if you want to look your best, just tell Shyn what kind of style you're into and let her figure out the rest. I was super vague about hair and makeup ideas and she NAILED IT. I've literally never looked better in my life.

I provided a couple of example photos of the style I was looking for in hair and makeup for my wedding day and Shyn totally nailed it. She was the exact right personality for our style - laid back, but professional, honest and willing to compromise, fun to spend the day with and uber talented. Can't recommend highly enough!

Shyn is amazing! Not only was she always on top of emailing me back right away, but she was so easy to work with. The day of my elopement, like any bride, I was stressed, tired, and anxious. Shyn did an amazing job at easing my nerves, making me laugh, and making me feel beautiful. I have to admit I am a very picky bride, and on my wedding day hair and make-up was one of my top priories. Shyn is freaking amazing. From the beginning when I first contacted her, she was quick to reply to emails, very helpful with hair and makeup ideas, and of course on my wedding day made me look GORGEOUS! Some brides know exactly what they want to look like on their wedding day... I was not one of those brides. I rarely wear makeup so I really had no idea what I wanted. I chose a package without a trial run so I was a little bit nervous but Shyn quickly killed all my nerves. She was on time and beyond pleasant. It felt more like having my makeup done by a friend than a stranger, which I really appreciated on such a special day. The makeup was spot on. It was everything I could have dreamed for and I have never felt more beautiful or flawless. I will be eternally grateful to Shyn.

First let me just say Shyn is a True professional!! Do you know how many make up peeps I contacted thru their websites, and I want to say only 25% actually got back to me? Not even an email saying they could not make it. Shyn e-mailed me back within 5 minutes of getting my initial e-mail. And right then and there her bubbly, fun personality was shining bright as ever. Her make up caboodle consists of top of the line names, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox ect.
I was worried about not looking pretty for my wedding. As someone who has been dealing with body and appearance issues pretty much my whole life, this was a HUGE concern for me and weighed heavily on my mind. I sort’ve hinted this to Shyn and she was picking up what I was putting down (lol). I know as bride, You want to look beyond amazing. You almost want to look like someone you are not. I went to her for two trials, the first one I asked her to give me more of a darker dramatic look. And she totally did, it was beeeeeaaautiful. After a while I decided maybe go with a lighter, more bride-y look and off I went to Shyn for another trial, which was amazing. Just purely beautiful. And she was beyond accommodating. After two trials of her doing exactly what my confused mind wanted, Shyn gave me a glowing, soft look for the wedding, and let me tell you…It was beyond beautiful and it was perfect!!! She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, period. I looked like someone I never thought I could look like, and most importantly, I looked like MYSELF!! What a concept right?? When I first saw myself in the mirror I was trying really hard to keep it together and not cry because, hello, my make-up would run!! She has this cool Air brush machine named dexter that hid skin imperfections for me and my 6 bridesmaids and 1 officiant. Yes she did makeup for 8 people the day of my wedding and did a stellar job on each one of us. Most importantly ladies….it LASTED ALL NIGHT!!!! That is 12 + hours of make

Shyn , did my make up for my July 20th 2014 wedding . Shyn, was very professional , experienced, and fun to work with , and I have to say ingenious. I looked amazing !!! and felt beautiful for my wedding .I have never looked as lovely , and received so many complements . Shyn was right on time to the venue , immediately set up , and was ready to go. Shyn really understood the look I was trying to achieve , and in her capable hands , I looked incredible. Shyn is fantastic! I would highly recommend her for hair and make-up for any special event. She's funny, easy to talk to, and highly experienced.

Even more importantly, she listens. There were only a few things I felt uncertain about after my trial, and Shyn adjusted my hair and make up accordingly. On the day of my wedding, I was more than thrilled with how I looked - my hair had the perfect vintage touch, and my make up was very me...just dialed up a bit. I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked.

She also helpfully made a suggestion about how to best track down a good hair accessory - and with her tip, I found the perfect pin for my hair. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I cannot say enough positive things about Pacific Brides! Shyn was very accomodating at creating a package that worked for our large group of 13 and her team did an awesome job, really showing off each woman's personality and individual beauty! The team was also very patient with those women in the group who liked it when they left the chair but then wanted something changed an hour later (we all have those). I never felt more beautiful in my life and got so many compliments! A good investment for your wedding day!

Shyn is simply amazing. This raving review of her phenomenal job providing hair and makeup services for my July 6, 2013 wedding is LONG overdue. Shyn was flexible and resourceful, finding two assistants to provide an organized and efficient hair and makeup plan for all 15 of the bridesmaids, mothers, and family members in need of her services on our big day. To top it off, she took a 5am ferry to the Kitsap Peninsula to get to where we were staying for the wedding and finished getting us all ready EARLY, which gave me extra time with my girls before heading off for my first look. Her playful attitude and rocking sense of humor made what could have been a stressful morning a total breeze. Her consultation a few weeks before the wedding was great! She is receptive to feedback and willing to try makeup and hair styles until you fall in love with your look. To top it off she is truly incredible at what she does. I could not have ever imagined feeling more beautiful on my wedding day, or more confident that all my bridesmaids and family were in good hands for their own looks. Thank you Shyn! You are AMAZING.

Shyn did hair and makeup for my wedding and SEVERAL of my friends weddings this summer and let me tell you, she was amazing! She is very flexible when it comes to traveling to your location (she took a 5am ferry to get to my friend's wedding in Poulsbo) and navigated downtown parking to get to my location at the Sheraton downtown. She offers a trial for both hair and makeup and even offered to do a 2nd trial for me when I was unsure about what style I wanted! She makes you feel so comfortable and fits right in with her fun, outgoing attitude. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her for anyone needing to get hair and makeup done for their wedding or other event. Shyn did my hair/makeup for my wedding 6/8/13, plus hair/makeup for my bridesmaids! She did a fantastic job! First, my hair and makeup were beautiful, even better than I could have imagined. First off, Shyn is fantastic to work with. She is the type of person that you can easily connect with, and I think that goes a long way in helping a bride's vision of her hair and makeup for the wedding day come to life. Shyn understands that each bride is different, and has different taste, but really, we all want to feel gorgeous on the big day.
On the wedding day, she was even better! All of the maids were smitten with their hair, and their makeup blew me away. It was elegant, cohesive, yet personalized to each girl's individual features and tastes. It doesn't get better than that! It was great having her there with just the bridal party, rather than a salon with other customers. It feels special, intimate and relaxing. What better way to start your wedding day?

I loved how she did my hair, it looked soft and feminine, but was super secure! She got a perfect mix of texture, shine and volume. Her idea at the trial to add a sparkly broach was the icing on the cake! It was timeless and very chic- her talent range is incredible!

I wish I could describe eloquently how much I loved my makeup. It was the most glamorous I have ever felt. I looked like myself still, but the best possible version, more radiant, sophisticated and even regal. Honestly, it was impeccable. When I though it couldn't get better, Shyn critiqued her own work and touched up the tiniest little spot of eyeliner that she didn't feel was perfect! Talk about above and beyond!

Shyn is AMAZING she came to me and did an awesome trial run on my makeup with airbrushing and I really loved it , day of wedding I decided to add a different color to my eyes and she NAILED IT I felt so gorgeous and have loved the way I looked in pictures , natural but glamorous and glowing . Shyn is AWESOME!! I can't say enough good things about her. She did my hair and my bridesmaids' hair, and all of us were THRILLED with our hair styles. She is incredibly talented, dependable, responsive and a total pleasure to be around. She's also flexible, which I really appreciated.

At my trial, I asked Shyn for a mostly down (kinda half up half down) style, which she did a great job on (she also took pictures of the style for reference later). But then a week before the wedding, I decided I wanted an updo. Shyn had no problem with the change in plan, and did an incredible job on the updo! I have fine, thin hair, and wasn’t sure how well an updo would work , but Shyn made it happen and made it look like I had a ton of hair and volume! I got so many compliments on my hair (which never happens normally)! The updo lasted a long time, which was great (I left it in for 3 days, and still looked pretty good on day 3 :))

Bottom line - Shyn is a miracle worker. Book her - you won't regret it! (I only wish I'd booked her early enough to have her do my makeup too - book her early cause she fills up!)

Shyn was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and gave me the exact look that I was hoping for. I have short, fine hair, so I was nervous that I would not be able to wear it up, or have it textured. Shyn did wonders with my hair, and achieved the look that I didn't think was possible. I want to begin by saying two things:

1. I have never bothered to write a review before this.
2. I have probably had my hair done 30+ times in my life and been at least a little disappointed every time, until now...

Shyn is awesome! I considered a lot of hair and makeup artists for my wedding, and after looking through Shyn's portfolio, I emailed her. I was very hesitant because I wanted something dramatic and complicated which is usually where I've run into trouble with other stylists in the past. The hairdo I wanted involved several pounds of hair extensions :-)

Shyn not only told me she could do it, but asked all the right questions about types of extensions and what I would need to buy. We exchanged probably 20+ emails figuring out exactly how to get my hair the way I wanted it (I have never experienced anyone being this dedicated to getting it right). When I went for my trial, I was shocked at how amazing it looked. For the first time, it really was EXACTLY what I asked for.

When the big day came, it was actually better than the trial (which I didn't think was possible). Shyn absolutely went the extra mile. I almost cried when I saw myself (and I'm not a crier). To boot, Shyn is so much fun to hang out with! My bridesmaids and I just loved her! She was friendly, fun, punctual, honest, nice, and hillarious!

On top of this, her prices would be really reasonable for someone of mediocre talent, and she is talented beyond belief! I can't stress enough my past experiences of asking for one thing and winding up with something that is about 50% as glamorous as what I asked for. If you hire Shyn, this is not something you are going to have to worry about. I can't recommend her enough and I strongly urge you to hire her.

I saw Shyn for the first time on my photographer's Facebook page, and knew immediately that I wanted to hire her for my wedding. She just LOOKED like someone I wanted to be friends with, and upon seeing her work I was floored. She graciously worked with me via email for months, as I tried to figure out what I wanted for my hair & makeup. She encouraged me to buy clip-in hair extensions (my hair hadn't grown as long as I had wanted it to), which I did. She did not try to talk me out of it when, 2 weeks before my wedding, I told her I suddenly wanted bangs. The consultation was easy, wonderful and fun. But when the wedding day came, and Shyn had traveled 3 hours to take care of my beauty needs, she arrived to find me sick as a dog. Poor thing had her work cut out for her! Astonishingly, not only did she cheerfully fly into action and get me ready for my wedding, she made me look better than I've ever looked in my LIFE. I am so grateful to her - I'm pretty sure she saved the day. I just can't recommend her highly enough!

Shyn and Cat were awesome! I wasn't happy with everything from my trial with Shyn, but she listened to what I had to say and then made the appropriate changes for the wedding, and I loved the way I looked! She and Cat also did an amazing job on all the bridesmaids and my mothers. Even though one bridesmaid did not follow directions and ended up taking more time than she should have, Shyn and Cat were able to have us all done on schedule. They were also so much fun to be around on the morning of the wedding. Very relaxed and plenty of funny stories to share, which kept me from getting too nervous. I got so many compliments on how I looked on my wedding day. Thank you, Shyn!!

Shyn is super nice and was able to quickly help me, a moron about makeup and hair, figure out what I wanted and then do it for me. It was great that she could do on-site hair & makeup, especially for the day of, saving me time before my wedding (not needing to go to a salon before heading to the venue). She clearly knows what she's doing and works very efficiently. Before our trial run, I showed her a few pictures of what I liked as well as the flowery hairpiece I wanted to use, and at the trial run she went to work right away and it only took one try to get the hairstyle I loved and decided to use for the wedding!
Shyn is fun to work with (or I guess I should say to be worked on by?) and joked and chatted with me, and didn't do the high-pitched, tuned-out small talk I've encountered with lots of hair/makeup people, which was highly appreciated because just that little bit of "real" joking and laughing made me feel a lot more chill about speaking (vows, that is) in front of a bunch of people a few minutes later.

Amazing Hair and Make up!

I was so happy with Shyn’s services. She is laid back and easy going and made the whole process low stress. She has a vision and after I sent her just a few photos she created something I didn’t even l know I wanted but absolutely loved. My whole bridal party loved her and everyone was happy with their looks. She was definitely able to capture the “natural” but still fancy bridal make up look.

Stunning & classy look for the ladies on our wedding day

Shynn did such a beautiful job on makeup for my sisters, mother, and myself for our wedding last July. I knew if would be perfect from the trial day, so it was so nice to not have to worry about anything to do with beauty the day of. Pacific Brides also provided hair styling as well and everyone was pleased. No drama of someone not liking what they got. The looks were timeless and classy, not over-done. Just delicate and whimsical, highlighting everyone's natural beauty. Thank you so much Shynn!!

Shyn did an amazing job on my hair and makeup! I’d definitely recommend a trial since it’s hard to communicate what you’d like sometimes. It was quite pricey, but she also did a good job, so it depends on what you’re looking for. My hair stayed in super well all night and I was amazed at how well my makeup stayed! It was 90 degrees and our wedding was outside but my makeup lasted the whole time!!
