Working with Brandy and her staff was so easy and really relieved some of the pressures of a wedding. The day-of went off without a hitch, it was relaxing and most importantly enjoyable. Our guests are still raving about their experience including how smooth everything went and how beautiful it was. I can’t imagine working with anyone else for such an important event of my life. Brandy is great to work with! My band (Fritz's Polka Band) has enjoyed working with her on Wolff's Biergarten Oktoberfests...which brings in a crowd of over 4,000 people! Her planning is a plus and she makes sure to keep me posted of timeline for the day. Looking forward to working with her again! -

Best wedding planner in upstate NY.
Brandy was amazing! She helped us plan our wedding last year at Brooklyn botanical garden. Husband and I had no idea where to even start with the planning. We are so glad we found P.S Events, because Brandy is a wedding wizard who took our ideas and magically manifested them perfectly. She was easy to work with, professional, happy to chat with us on email or video calls when we had questions, or requests or even just anxieties about some details like the weather on the day-of. She kept us organized and on track with our to-dos. She found and coordinated between the vendors in the city and here upstate, who were all wonderful to work with, really lovely people. She worked with all of them to set the timeline of the day and coordinated everything. The wedding day was perfect and everything went smoothly. We still get compliments about our wedding, and it's all thanks to Brandy. If you're looking for a planner, I highly recommend her. She is excellent at what she does. The title says it all - Brandy made me and my now husband (and my parents, who did all of the planning with her!) feel so comfortable on my wedding day. She was there whenever I needed her but didn't feel at all like she was hovering. It was the perfect presence and assistance, which made me feel really calm. I'd recommend Brandy to anyone!P.S. Top Class Service
Brandy was so responsive and attended to my every need, and I didn't make things easy for her! I changed my venue vision so many times and she just rolled with it and helped vet out which was the best for me. Her spreadsheet was task oriented and her google docs folder was super organized with contracts, to-do list etc. I stopped taking my own notes because she was just ON it! The day of the wedding couldn't have gone smoother, her assistant Jennie was a dream helping with photos and her and Brandy kept me calm and excited. Both ladies were the 'bad guys' for me which was a stress reliever (ex. people putting their phones away, makeup artist staining a carpet etc..). They even accommodated some goodies in the fridge for us to indulge on our wedding night... nachos!! I couldn't have asked for a better planner, she just got my vibe and paired me with vendors that executed my vision. I'm lucky I get to use her twice for our larger reception next year! Choosing Brandy as our wedding planner was the BEST decision we ever made. For me working full time and having a 9-month-old baby, I didn't have the time to plan a wedding and needed Brandy to take on the full planning of our micro wedding. She took all the stress out of finding vendors and managing the minute details. She captured the exact theme and feel that we envisioned and went above and beyond. She made me feel heard, gave great suggestions, and was always just an email or call away when I had last-minute questions. Brandy was so kind and organized, and I really could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend her to anyone, and we cannot thank her enough for helping us create our dream wedding.P.S. Great Experience!
Brandy was fantastic! We had to change our wedding plans due to covid-19 and Brandy was instrumental in coordinating with the new venue and communicating with the vendors about the changing plans. She kept the wedding plans on schedule and would update us on the tasks that needed to done leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly. If there were any issues that came up, she handled them. Thanks to Brandy, we were really able to relax and enjoy the weekend with our families. We are having a "one year anniversary party" next year and have decided to work with Brandy again for the party. I can't stress enough how thankful I am to have had Brandy there to help on the wedding day.P.S. Events's reply:

Baby shower
P.S. Events planned and decorated our gender reveal party as well as our baby shower. Brandy is great to work with and will listen to every single thing you say. It doesn’t matter how big or small the detail she makes sure you get exactly what you want! The decorations we had for both parties were perfect and just what we wanted! She was on top of everything and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend P.S. Events for any party you have coming up.You will not be disappointed!P.S. Brandy is fantastic to work with! She is great about stepping in and helping when things get overwhelming, but also knows when to take a step back if you want to do something on your own. She will make sure you know your timeline and stick to it so that you get all your vendors selected before they are all booked. She works hard to be sure everything runs smoothly the day of, so that you and your soon to be spouse can relax and enjoy your day! We hired Brandy for the month-of planning package, and she said she'd reach out to vendors a month prior to our date to create a schedule for the day and disseminate it to us and vendors at least three weeks prior to our wedding. The week before our wedding, Brandy started reaching out vendors and didn't have a schedule put together until 5 days before the wedding, which we had to go through and edit and so many of the details were still up in the air. She didn't offer to pick up our decor or help us set up, and our caterer ended up saving the day. Brandy came into the bridal suite while I was getting my hair and makeup done to ask me questions about the ceremony details and timing, which were things that should've been nailed down weeks prior (Iike should the ceremony be mic'd, where do decorations go, and who was walking down the aisle before me) and called my people of honor by the wrong names. I was so stressed out by all of it. Our caterer ended up cueing the DJs for speeches.P.S. Events's reply:

With our month-of planning package, we start reaching out to vendors a month before your wedding date. While we aim to provide a finalized timeline well in advance, the turnaround time for vendor responses can affect when this timeline is completed. In your case, a detailed timeline was sent to all vendors before the wedding day to ensure smooth coordination. I did begin reaching out to your vendors at the one-month mark, but after testing positive for COVID-19 in week two, I took two days off to recover. During that time, I continued managing emails with you and your vendors as much as possible.
Regarding the decor, we arranged to pick up specific items. Based on your email, which noted, "Since so much of the decor is for catering/table setup, we'll give everything to Deanna tomorrow night, so no worries about that Brandy," we understood that these items would be handled by her. I personally set up all items not related to catering. Additionally, I suggested repurposing your florals from the ceremony to the reception to enhance their use and the overall aesthetic. I came to the bridal suite to discuss this idea and get your input on their placement.
The microphone for the ceremony is typically managed by the DJ or Officiant. When the Officiant brought this up, I asked for your preference, as it is a personal choice. I apologize if this caused any confusion.
I strive to be attentive without being intrusive. While I may not have been visibly directing the DJ, I was actively managing the schedule and cues behind the scenes. The timeline included details about your bridal party and their roles, and I apologize for my error in reading off the wrong name of your person of honor. I regret that any part of my service caused you stress on your wedding day. Thank you for bringing these concerns to my attention; I appreciate your feedback.
