We can't begin to thank Anisha and Our Day Events for helping transform our vision and plans for our dream wedding day into a reality! My now husband and I were both stationed in Ohio throughout the wedding planning process, and our wedding was in Virginia, where my parents are. Anisha made the distance seem nonexistent, paid incredible attention to every detail- including details we had never even thought about even though we prided ourselves on our planning abilities. She not only helped to fill in the gaps in our planning process, but was so friendly and professional throughout the whole thing. She went out of her way to make sure she kept our parents in the loop and helped them feel heard, all while keeping our vision and dreams as her main goal while working to make our Hindu-Christian fusion wedding a beautiful success. With so many moving parts and no matter the wild wrenches that were thrown at us, Anisha handled every obstacle with grace and kindness, and made sure we remained happy and stress-free throughout our big day! Could not be happier with how everything turned out, adding Our Day Events and Anisha to our dream team for our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have ever made! Thanks again!! -

We have no doubt that Anisha, and ODE, were absolutely meant to be part of our special day. We first contacted Anisha after a close friend recommended ODE to us. We had spoken to several other planners at this point and no one was clicking. Then came Anisha! We loved her instantly. She was positive, friendly, organized, and made us feel at ease. Prior to having a planner, we were managing booking vendors on our own. When we saw how we would be in good hands with Anisha, we quickly booked with ODE.
From day one, it was absolute perfection. Anisha guided us throughout our planning process, helping us lock in the remaining vendors that we needed. She had documents, checklists, and reminders that gradually ramped up as the wedding date got closer, but EVERYTHING was done well before the wedding day. We had absolutely nothing to worry about. She answered our questions within minutes whenever we reached out, and she was always quick to offer her insights when we were unsure of a decision. She was present for every vendor call that she was assisting us with. In addition to that, she utilized different times that she was in town to offer being present for walk throughs with our venue or other vendors. She carried herself with confidence and professionalism that made every meeting flow seamlessly.
The week of the wedding, Anisha flew into Houston and had a whole car trunk open and ready to take our boxes of ceremony and reception items (which she gave us checklists for!). She met with our parents, answered all of their questions, coordinated so many different groups of people involved in various ways in our wedding, and literally loved on us every step of the way. By the time the wedding day came, we felt like we had a big sister on our side more than a wedding coordinator. On the wedding day, Anisha along with Ashbey, Alicia, and Nethan, took every detail off our hands. All we had to do is wake up and follow the detailed schedule we had curated together. From helping us get ready to setting up flat lays and detail shots to keeping us on schedule to cheering us on to packing up ALL of our belongings at the end of the night--they literally did it all. It wasn't until after the wedding that we learned about the little things they went above and beyond in doing that we had no idea about!
This review is long. We could keep going. This was one of our very best decisions and we look back on our wedding day with so much joy. Thank you, ODE, and thank you so much to our big sister Anisha, for helping make our dream day even more perfect than we could have ever imagined. We love you! -

From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted Our Day Events to be part of our wedding day, we had heard so many amazing things about them. But it wasn’t until we spoke with Anisha chechi that we truly understood what everyone meant. From our very first call, she made us feel so comfortable, it felt like we were talking to family. That’s when we knew we were in the best hands.
About six months before the wedding, we started our planning calls, and the team was beyond organized. They had timelines, checklists, and reminders ready before we even thought of them. Every little detail — even the ones we would’ve never imagined was taken care of. By the time our big day came around, everything was ready weeks in advance. We didn’t have to stress about a single thing!
Between all the planning and endless calls, we ended up becoming besties with Anisha chechi! Even when we’d randomly text her at 2 a.m. about some wedding detail, she’d respond instantly; always patient, kind, and just as excited as we were.
When our flower petals for the exit didn’t arrive on time, we mentioned it to Anisha chechi and somehow, she made it happen. She found petals made sure we never had to worry. That’s just how thoughtful and prepared she and her team were.
The entire wedding day went by so smoothly that we didn’t have to think twice about anything. The team — Anisha, Monisha, Jennifer, and Elizabeth was simply incredible. They made sure every moment was perfect (including making sure Diya didn’t trip 😅).
We truly cannot thank Our Day Events enough for everything they did. They made our dream day completely stress-free and filled with joy. We would 100% recommend them to anyone planning their wedding — they’re not just coordinators, they’re family. ❤️

Anisha and her team at Our Day Events were a key part in making our wedding one of the most amazing days of our lives. As a Mallu couple we were both excited and overwhelmed by all the traditions that surrounded our wedding. Our Day Events came in with the knowledge and expertise to help us feel supported and confident in all our wedding decisions. They went above and beyond to make sure that the day felt special to everyone involved. One of the greatest things we appreciated was ODE’s proactive approach to the wedding process. For example, our extended families were surprised that we had a plan in place for various events at the wedding (i.e. photos after service, velleke lighting, order of reception traditions, etc) because ODE had already talked us through our plan before our families even remembered. The planning process was extremely organized, after every meeting with Anisha we would receive a list of tasks to complete. Each task was the perfect level of complexity so we wouldn't get overwhelmed. We went with the Heart Package and even though the services for the package didn't fully start until 2-3 months before the wedding, we still felt supported by the ODE team during our entire wedding planning process. Anisha answered any questions we had as we called vendors and bought supplies leading up to the wedding.
Furthermore, ODE would consistently follow up with vendors throughout the month leading up to the wedding to make sure our vision came to light. To have the team interface with vendors through various issues helped us tremendously, especially when I (Jeremy) was trying to figure out how not to step on my soon to be wife’s feet during the first dance. It only happened once! During the wedding day we felt confident to enjoy our wedding day anxiety free because ODE had it handled. After the wedding we were bracing ourselves for the typical overly critical analysis that follows but were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive accounts. Our friends and family have said the wedding was “beautiful and spectacular,” “I swear it was one of the best weddings I [have] ever been to!” “It had everything you could want, not one thing was missing.” We couldn’t have done it without Anisha and her Team at Our Day Events. Before we started wedding planning, we knew we’d need a coordinator to make sure we had a smooth planning process leading up to the day of. We also wanted a coordinator who understood our South Indian Christian culture and traditions, along with leadership and communication skills needed to manage everyone involved. With all this in mind, we could not have been happier with Anisha and her team.
Throughout the planning process, Anisha constantly communicated with us by immediately making a group chat and was readily available to answer our many questions. Closer to the wedding day, she held frequent meetings to review an updated checklist and make sure we were always on the same page. She went the extra mile by meeting with every single vendor and clergy to establish our timeline and special requests.
On our wedding day, we left everything in Anisha and her team’s hands in full confidence of their capabilities. Our wedding day was truly perfect and our guests raved about how seamless the day was. We had the most unforgettable destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and I cannot thank Our Day Events enough for making it all come together seamlessly! Our wedding was a huge undertaking—five separate events over three days—and while planning one event in a single day can feel overwhelming, planning this many events with all the moving parts seemed like a massive challenge. But with the help of the amazing team at Our Day Events, we were able to truly enjoy every moment.
From the very beginning, we knew that our wedding would need to blend both Guyanese and Indian cultures and religions, which added another layer of complexity. Arvind is Guyanese, and I’m South Indian, so we wanted to create a celebration that honored both of our backgrounds. The team at Our Day Events went above and beyond to ensure that both cultures were beautifully incorporated into every detail of our wedding, from the decor to the ceremony rituals. It was so important for us to see our traditions come to life in such a meaningful way, and Our Day Events nailed it.
A special shoutout to Jennifer, who not only coordinated the wedding but was also my sister and matron of honor. Working with her was truly an honor. She is incredibly smart, meticulous, and organized, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to plan this special day with. While my career is in events and logistics, I quickly learned there’s so much more to wedding planning than I expected. Having Our Day Events involved from the start made all the difference, as they helped us navigate things we would have never even considered.
Though Jennifer did the bulk of the planning with us, Anisha and Tessy joined the team on-site during our wedding weekend, and they were phenomenal. As someone who works in events, I’m always hesitant to let others take the lead, but from our final walkthrough with the vendors, I knew we were in good hands. They asked all the right questions, followed up on details I hadn't even thought of, and ensured everything was running on schedule. I can’t tell you how much peace of mind that gave me. I was finally able to relax and enjoy our wedding because I knew they had it all under control.
All in all, the Our Day Events team was a huge part of why our wedding was a success. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to our unique needs made everything run smoothly, and we couldn’t have been more grateful to have them by our side. We hired Anisha and the Our Day Events team for our August 2024 wedding for support planning and day of coordination activities! Our whole ODE team was amazing! Anisha helped me and my fiance stay on track with all of our planning activities leading up to the day and took on all of the vendor communications leading up to the wedding. She helped provide so much guidance, support and encouragement! Anisha was also able to help us resolve some last minute miscommunications we had with our caterer to ensure the menu and invoices were correct - this was a huge relief and weight of my shoulders in the days leading up to the big day. Anisha was also amazing and patient with all parents and family members involved leading up to the big day, making herself available for questions and offering lots of reassurance during our walkthrough. On the day off the wedding, I didn't worry about a thing! ODE took care of literally everything - coordinating with vendors, making sure everyone was ready and on time for photos, and beautifully arranging the details of our ceremony and reception space! We received so many compliments from so many folks on how well the wedding went! We received many compliments that this was the most on time/SMOOTHEST Indian Wedding our family and friends had ever been to! It was an amazing relief that our Parents, Family, Friends and Bridal Party were truly able to enjoy and be present on our wedding day because we had ODEs support! Going with Our Day Events is singlehandedly THE best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. My wife and I are absolutely not planners so planning our wedding was a pretty scary thought because we just didn't know what we didn't know. There are so many aspects to planning a wedding that I simply had never thought about until I started working with Our Day Events. Not only that, they made it so simple to get through planning out those tasks that need to be completed so that we never felt overwhelmed throughout this process. My wife and I were repeatedly asked as we came close to our wedding day, "How are you doing? Are you completely swamped with all the wedding things you have to do?". Our answer was actually, "No I think we're doing great actually, I don't think there is much if anything left to do.." This is not to pat ourselves on the back as much as it is to demonstrate how well planned out our wedding was because of ODE. Our wedding day went off without a single thing going wrong. Every single thing was perfect and on time. We had separate coordinators for my wife and I. Anisha with my wife and Joel with me and they took all the pressure away from us on our wedding day. They refused to let people bother us with anything. They do every single thing they can to make sure we have the most perfect day. We don't have the words to thank Anisha, Joel, Tessy and Jenn for all the work they did to make our wedding day what it was. It was truly something we will never forget. We still catch ourselves reminiscing and talking about how perfect everything went and it truly can be attributed to all the hard work from the ODE team. Truly, we love you guys and couldn't recommend you more.

I want to take a moment to thank Our Day Events for how seamlessly they navigated our incredible wedding weekend and all of the weeks leading up to it. From the start our wedding was going to be big, beautiful, and.... complicated. The event was never too much for our lead coordinators Karthika and Juhi, who performed a masterclass the day of. They were always calm, organized, and *persistent* and making sure we stayed on time with our tasks and vendors and lists that we needed to complete, and we are so appreciative of that. The day of itself, every person on the team made sure every event was on time. We had multiple vendors show up late, get in car accidents, or even leave (!!!). It was never too much for the ODE team, who handled all of these things without us even knowing! Incredible, incredible job. So thankful to them for making such a special day not only for us, but also for our friends and family! -

I have to start off by saying Our Day Events was THE BIGGEST blessing to our wedding. I am Indian and my husband, Sergio, is Mexican so trying to coordinate a bigger Indian style wedding with his culture mixed in was challenging. We were also overwhelmed with the amount of choices we needed to make and vendors that needed to be coordinated. I had been a part of a couple of bridal parties for my close friends, and Anisha coordinated one of those weddings. Her impeccable planning and professionalism really stood out to me, so when it was time to pick a planner, I knew exactly who to pick. Anisha and Karthika were our main coordinators and they made the process so easy. From the moment we booked them, they kept us on track with meetings and due dates, which made the process so much more manageable. Once they took over the process, there were so many things they just took care of, even without us asking. Also with both of us being the oldest in our families, we had never been a part of planning a wedding before. The team at Our Day Events have so much experience and knowledge, which helped us tremendously, and they helped with so many things my husband and I had not even thought about. They go above and beyond what any other planners would do, and will do whatever it takes to make the day go smoothly. One of their assistants even fed me as I was getting my saree draped! It felt as if we were being taken care of by family. It also allowed our parents to not be stressed and actually enjoy our wedding like our guests. The whole team is so sweet and so easy to talk to, and communicating with them was a breeze. We had low expectations for our wedding, but with the help of Anisha, Karthika, and the team, we truly had the wedding of our dreams. We cannot thank them enough for the best day of our lives. Anisha and her team were absolutely amazing! We would recommend Our Day Events over and over again. When we were looking for wedding planners, we wanted someone who would be able to blend our Hindu and Christian traditions. Anisha and her team did just that! It was the perfect day of celebrating both of our cultures, traditions, and families.
Anisha helped us with so much. We really wouldn't have been able to plan our wedding without her. She was able to recommend vendors and help express our vision. Anisha was there to communicate with the vendors we chose and work out all the finer details. This really helped ease the stress of planning a wedding. She also had us start working on the day of timeline months ahead of time. This again eased stress leading up to our wedding day and on the day of. We knew exactly what to expect and where to be. Anisha and Rebecca did the most on our wedding day and we cannot thank them enough.
Our meetings with Anisha felt like chatting with an old friend. It was casual and comfortable, but we also got down to business. We never felt like we couldn't speak our minds and express our wants and needs. Overall we had such an amazing experience with Anisha and Our Day Events. Our wedding day turned out perfect and so much of it is because of this team!

Anisha and her team were the absolute best! Our vision was to incorporate both Hindu and Christian wedding traditions into a single day and Anisha made it happen. She helped us set out a timeline, recommended and worked with vendors, emphasized what was important to us, and more. Our wedding ran from 9am - 11pm, and despite the volume of logistically complicated events in a single day, everything could not have gone more smoothly. The entire team took care of us and coordinated every aspect of the day, leaving us stress-free and able to enjoy every moment of it along with our guests. Anisha and her team turned our living hell into the most perfect dreamy day of our lives. From the beginning, Anisha was beyond fantastic. She responded within hours to my first enquiry, and on that same day set up a call to get to know us better. ODE took over planning at 3 months and the just about saved my life. Noel and I were both completely over it . But Anisha and Karthika walked us through everything. They thought of every single detail and planned our perfect day to its fullest. They were our go to with every dumb question and they answered us every night of the hour. Our wedding day was smoother than what I could have ever imagined only because of ODE. Everything from steaming my veil, details of our venue, setting out program books and most importantly us and our parents enjoying our day was only because of Anisha and her team. We worked with Anisha and Juhi throughout the year before our wedding, and it was the best decision we made! We worked with them previously from my sister's wedding, and knew they were the right match and fit for us. From the beginning, they were organized, professional and attentive to our needs. Although we utilized Our Day Events for day of coordination, they were willing to answer questions and offer guidance throughout our entire wedding planning process. While we planned and talked to all of our major vendors, it wasn't until Anisha and Juhi got involved that our vision came to life. A few months before our special day, we would meet regularly to discuss what we were working on, what we needed help with, and ideas to make our wedding unique to us. ODE kept us focused and on track, and it was great having an expert tell you what you needed to spend your time on. We would have been lost without them, and their guidance made the months leading up to the wedding painless. They handled all of the calls with our vendors, which was such a relief to not have to manage. We could easily handle questions over text and Whatsapp, and then met weekly to track our progress. Anisha was always available to answer our questions and offer guidance, and she went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was taken care of.
On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing - Anisha and Juhi were there to wake us up, make sure our vendors had what they needed, ensured our family members were on schedule and where they needed to be, and that we were truly present and able to enjoy the day. So many of our guests commented that we seemed to happy and relaxed, which wouldn't have happened without the team!

My husband and I did a lot of research to find the right wedding coordinator. It was important to us that we found someone who understood our needs and vision but also understood our Kerala Hindu customs. We met with a couple potential coordinators, but we felt the best connected to Our Day Events LLC, and quite honestly, no regrets! Anisha and her stellar team went above and beyond for us. While we focused more with on-day coordination, her team really made us a priority from day one. They were extremely organized, flexible and most importantly, approachable. We asked so many questions, worked through different scenarios and through it all, the team stay on top of all the communication with us. They asked us questions and gave us suggestions. It was evident of their focus and precision with every detail of the wedding day. We really felt heard which helped create trust with this team. Working with Our Day Events was the best decision we made. Anisha and her team were with us every single step of the way making sure we were on task and getting things done early. Planning a wedding while living in another state is difficult enough, but with Our Day Events they were there keeping us on track. Our families were impressed with how organized and on time everything was on the wedding day and how smoothly it all went. Our wedding day was stress free thanks to Anisha, Tessy, Joel, and Anne. Hiring Our Day Events was probably the best thing we did for our wedding. Knowing that we'd be planning our wedding from two different states as a long distance couple, we knew right away that hiring the right wedding coordinator was so important. I've known Anisha for a few years and have been part of several weddings that she's coordinated. There hasn't been a single wedding where she was the coordinator that was disorganized or haphazard. If we had to use one word to describe how they ran our wedding day, it would be "seamless." We knew NOTHING of what happened behind the scenes, yet everything was taken care of so perfectly. Some of the timings on our master timeline were extremely tight, but Anisha, Tessy, Ashley, and Arun worked with that and absolutely delivered.
Our Day Events doesn't just show up on the wedding day and run with a schedule someone makes. They work with you for months in advance, making sure everything you need and want for your wedding day is all ready. They increase the frequency of the meetings as the wedding day approaches. We had weekly meetings the month of our wedding, which were so crucial as there are so many little things that need to get done. They also had a meeting with all our parents and then proceeded to make a WhatsApp group with them. By the time the wedding day came, both our parents felt extremely comfortable reaching out to Anisha with questions instead of us...another HUGE stress reliever.
We've already had several friends hire Our Day Events and some others who are seriously considering them. We would absolutely recommend Our Day Events to any couple who's looking to get married. Their presence allows the couple to take in every moment of this big day without having to worry about the logistics. You really can't put a price on that. -

Anisha and her team were the most vital part of our wedding day being an absolute success! She started working with us about a year before our wedding day. From that moment on, she held our hands through all the small and big important decisions we had to make related to our wedding ceremony and reception. She exceeded our expectations with her endless knowledge on all wedding related topics, her organizational skills and her friendly demeanor. In the months leading up to our wedding, Anisha constantly double checked to make sure we had all of our tasks in order and addressed all of our concerns as they came up. During our rehearsal and on the wedding day, Anisha and her team made sure the vision that we had for the last year about our wedding, came true by all means. She was by our side the whole day, and made sure any issues that popped up were not on our radar and solved them on her own. Choosing Our Day Events as our wedding planners was one of the BEST decisions we made! We primarily worked with Anisha, and she was the first “vendor” we booked. Right from the start, she guided us by providing lists of vendors that fit our criteria to pick from, communicating with the vendors for us, setting up meetings with them, and having contracts written up. The beginning stages of planning were so smooth and we knew it’d only get better.
Throughout the year, we loved having a trusted someone to remind us of deadlines. In the last few months, creating detailed timelines for wedding day was very helpful. Aside from us, she made sure our parents, siblings, bridal party, vendors, and even the clergy were ALL in the same loop by having separate calls and chats! This was a huuge weight lifted off of our to do list. Weekly meetings in the last 1-2 months were truly soo helpful to keep us sane & to make sure every nitty gritty detail was addressed.
Wedding week came along and we were much more stress free than we thought we’d be. We were truly able to enjoy our wedding day as the bride and groom and that was all with the help of Anisha, Helen, Sarah, & Tessy! Other than the incredible, adaptable, and timely coordination day of, we were so thankful that Anisha and her whole team even took care of transporting all items from us needed for the church, venue, and even assigning where to place items to take back to our homes. They were our number 1 till the second we jumped in our cars to go home.
We are still receiving compliments to this day about how smoothly and amazingly the wedding was planned and executed, and though she may say otherwise, a lot of that is attributed to Anisha and the ODE team. We can’t thank her enough for such a wonderful experience and we are so happy to have a close friend in her as well. We love you guys!!

The best wedding planner ever!
Our day events was probably the best decision that we made in our wedding planning!
From knowing nothing about wedding planning, Anisha helped us prioritize what was important to us, become organized in excel sheets and helped us find vendors within our budgets. She kept us on track and even helped us finish planning the wedding, minus the last minute details, months before the wedding.
Anisha, Jenn, and Matt were nothing short of amazing from the weeks before the wedding to rehearsal day to the wedding day. They even met with our parents to make sure they knew our day was in good hands. All three of them helped us get last minute items and made sure we were calm, fed, and enjoying ourselves throughout the wedding.

Anisha and her team are absolutely incredible!! Our Day Events made our wedding day run like a dream!
From the very beginning of planning up until the very end of our wedding, she was professional, available, organized, helpful, full of information, and completely and totally on top of every single detail. Anisha understood exactly what we wanted and executed it. She would send us texts every other day asking us what we were working on and made sure we were staying on top of our to-do lists and on schedule. She called/texted every single one of our vendors, bridesmaids, groomsmen, ushers, and family before the wedding to introduce herself, confirm contracts, walk them through the timeline and make sure everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing and when on the day of. She collected all information from each vendor and worked directly with our ceremony and reception venues to make sure everything was ready before the guests arrived.
We can not say enough about how professional and thorough Anisha and her team are. They took care of everything leaving us to relax and truly enjoy our wedding day.
